Trump declares a National Emergency, MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski visit President Trump at Mar-A-Lago, and the DOJ hires its own criminal defense attorneys in anticipation of Trump's return to the White House.
00:02:05.500What they've done to this man over the last nine years, you know, calling him Hitler, you know, all that good stuff.
00:02:12.340We can go down the list and spend an hour on this midday update talking about all the bad things they've done to President Trump over the last nine or so years.
00:02:19.780Of course, before that, they were best friends with him.
00:02:21.760They were down at Mar-a-Lago every weekend, kissing the ring.
00:02:25.000Now they're trying to make their way back.
00:02:26.640They say they want to do things differently this time around, but it doesn't appear that they've started coming around to not saying that they should be on Donald Trump's side or against Donald Trump,
00:02:38.060but they should report the news as honestly as possible, which they obviously haven't done, folks,
00:02:44.120which the ratings show and the American people are letting them know that they're not watching and tuning into their garbage network because all they spew is propaganda.
00:02:51.500Nonetheless, interesting to see that Joe and Mika would want to go meet with Donald Trump, who they say is Hitler.
00:02:58.820If I looked at somebody that poorly and that bad of a light, I would want nothing to do with them.
00:03:04.560So it just, I think, goes to show you what they believe in their mind and what they go out on television and tell the American people.
00:03:13.280A little bit of a distinction there, a little bit of a difference there.
00:03:16.280I'll let you folks all make your own determination, but that's the way I see it.
00:03:20.260And there's some news over at the Department of Justice.
00:03:23.240You know that Department of Justice that's just filled with a bunch of great folks headed up by that great American Merrick Garland.
00:03:30.260You know that fellow, that Department of Justice.
00:03:33.200Well, apparently officials over at the FBI and the Department of Justice are hiring themselves criminal defense attorneys in anticipation of Donald Trump's return to the White House.
00:03:42.560Now, why would you be doing that if you're just a good old law-abiding citizen, a great American?
00:03:50.880According to a report from NBC News, senior members of both government agencies are panicking about the prospect of Donald Trump and his prospective attorney general, Matt Gaetz, coming into power.
00:04:01.860Quote, everything we did was above board.
00:04:05.180End quote, said a former senior FBI official who has started contacting lawyers because he expects himself to be prosecuted.
00:04:14.680Why would you expect yourself to be prosecuted if you've done everything above board and we're doing your job and following the law?
00:04:22.440Well, the official who spoke on a condition of anonymity, out of fear of becoming an eventual more of a target, doesn't believe any attempt to prosecute him will be successful.
00:04:32.440Judges and juries have the power to throw out cases and find defendants innocent, of course, if they deem prosecutions to be baseless.
00:04:39.000But like many other current and former DOJ officials, he's bracing for a potentially long and costly legal battle, of course, as well as any congressional investigations that will be open.
00:04:49.060And it's very odd, folks, that these folks are now scrambling and having to hire attorneys.
00:04:55.420And if we sit back and we think about what happened over the last four years and what they've done to the Trump officials, Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro to name two, Jeff Clark, a great friend of this show, and what they've done to these folks and how much money these folks have had to dish out of their own money, how much crowdfunding we've had to pay for these folks so they could defend themselves.
00:05:16.080And by the way, I don't say that as a bad thing.
00:05:17.800I'm happy to help these folks who have went out and put their life on the line for us to defend this great country.
00:05:22.940But if you just think about all the bad that these Democrats have done and these career DOJ and FBI officials have done, and now they're scrambling and running like little rats to burrow because, according to them, they've done nothing wrong.
00:05:37.680But if they've done nothing wrong deep down in their conscience, they wouldn't be hiring defense attorneys and getting ready for Donald Trump to return back to office.
00:05:54.580The only time that you'd be ready for something like this is if you had a guilty conscience and you know you did something wrong.
00:06:01.440So these people's days of reckoning are coming and very well deserved.
00:06:05.700They shouldn't be getting away with what they've done.
00:06:07.560And the families they've destroyed, the country they've destroyed, the democracy they've destroyed, and what they've done to President Trump, retribution is well warranted.
00:06:18.140Folks, be sure to join us for today's episode.
00:06:21.060Speaking of justice, we're joined by J6 attorney Joe McBride.
00:06:24.840We sit down for almost a full hour and we talk about January Sixters and what's going to happen to them and the possible pardons coming for them on January 20th when President Trump comes back to office.
