00:00:00.000 Hello everybody, I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Tuesday, November 18th.
00:00:04.460 Happy Tuesday, folks.
00:00:05.880 Marxist judges running rogue once again, as they have been for quite some time.
00:00:10.800 A panel of federal judges this afternoon blocking the new Texas congressional map,
00:00:16.360 ordering the state to use the same 2021 map that they originally used.
00:00:20.400 In a two-to-one ruling, the three-judge panel ordered Texas to use that congressional map in the upcoming elections.
00:00:25.960 The judges claim that the newly redrawn map is unconstitutional because it appears to be a, quote, race-based gerrymander.
00:00:34.480 Now, this ruling is almost certainly set to be appealed almost immediately.
00:00:38.160 In late August, the Texas House voted on the new congressional map after the Marxist-Democrats stonewalled them for more than two weeks.
00:00:45.400 The map passed 19-2 along party lines and was designed to create up to five new Republican-drawn U.S. House seats in anticipation for the 2026 midterm elections.
00:00:56.460 Quote, the mid-decade redistricting isn't about fair representation.
00:01:00.800 It's about politicians picking their new voters instead of voters choosing their leaders,
00:01:04.840 according to the Senate Democrat caucus in their statement out today.
00:01:09.060 Democrat Rudd California now passed a new congressional map that eliminates five GOP seats in response to this Texas map.
00:01:15.940 The Justice Department has filed a lawsuit against California, arguing that its new map is unconstitutional because it allegedly is based on race.
00:01:24.340 So, the Marxist rogue judges in Texas, where it needs to be redrawn, where redistricting needs to happen based on how many people have come to Texas for freedom since the last census, 0.53
00:01:39.000 as opposed to California, where they're all leaving.
00:01:41.560 So, sort of a little interesting out there.
00:01:45.620 In other news, Bill and Hillary Clinton are refusing to appear before the House Oversight Committee for their Jeffrey Epstein depositions.
00:01:53.560 The Clintons were among several high-profile political figures, including former U.S. Attorney Generals and ex-FBI directors,
00:02:00.360 that were subpoenaed in August of 25 as part of an expanded congressional investigation into federal government's handling of the Epstein case.
00:02:08.420 Hillary Clinton's deposition was originally set for October 9th this year. 0.87
00:02:12.800 Bill Clinton's was scheduled for October 14th.
00:02:15.280 Both were delayed at the request of legal counsel.
00:02:18.100 House Oversight Chairman James Comer has said that Bill Clinton is, quote,
00:02:21.780 a prime suspect in the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein investigation and vowed to get answers about the Clintons' frequent visits to Epstein Island.
00:02:29.900 Now, according to Congresswoman Luna, the Clintons are outright refusing to appear.
00:02:34.600 Luna tweeting out, quote,
00:02:35.900 Bill and Hillary Clinton are refusing to appear before the House Oversight for their depositions regarding Jeffrey Epstein.
00:02:41.520 Notice how the House Democrats suddenly have nothing to say about it.
00:02:45.720 Epstein visited the Clintons' White House over 17 times.
00:02:49.120 Bill has also acknowledged traveling on Epstein's infamous Lolita Express plane over 20 times.
00:02:55.900 Very interesting that the Marxist Dems have nothing to say when they're protecting their own.
00:03:00.880 Isn't that right?
00:03:02.180 Former Harvard President Larry Summers, who's also served as the Treasury Secretary under Bill Clinton,
00:03:07.780 is stepping away from a public life after emails revealed a long-term relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
00:03:14.080 Dr. Summers says he'll continue to teach, but he's going to step out of the public domain for a little bit of time.
00:03:21.700 I guess maybe to get his stuff together and figure out what's going on around him.
00:03:26.980 But, lo and behold, your kids will be safe because he'll continue to teach.
00:03:31.120 Makes a lot of sense, right?
00:03:32.580 Now, just moments ago, the House voted to release all the Epstein documents, all voted with the exception of one nay vote on the Republican side.
00:03:41.360 Congressman Clay Higgins says he's been a consistent no from the beginning, and that's his take on it.
00:03:47.800 House Speaker Mike Johnson says the Democrats had every one of those Epstein files in their possession for four long years on the Biden administration,
00:03:56.120 and not a single one of those people were so loud or animated as they are right now.
00:04:01.820 They never said anything about it.
00:04:03.260 Take a listen.
00:04:03.740 But the truth is, the biggest proponents of this discharge petition were never actually interested in transparency or ensuring justice
00:04:12.960 or protecting victims of this unspeakable tragedy, the Epstein evils. 0.82
00:04:18.300 And how do we know that?
00:04:19.580 Because the Democrats had every one of the Epstein files in their possession for the four long years of the Biden administration.
00:04:28.000 The Biden Department of Justice had the files the entire time, and not a single one of the people who are so loud and animated right now,
00:04:36.140 they never said anything about it for all those four years.
00:04:39.200 None of them held press conferences.
00:04:40.960 None of them demanded the release of the documents.
00:04:42.940 And under Biden's DOJ, when they prosecuted just Epstein and Jelaine Maxwell,
00:04:49.480 not a single one of these Democrats or any of the proponents of the discharge ever made any noise about that at all.
00:04:54.920 The Democrats opened the can of worms, and now they're going to find out what's in them 0.98
00:05:00.100 and how many of their Marxist damn friends were complicit in it all. 0.93
00:05:04.040 Please be sure to join us, folks, tonight, 6 p.m. Eastern Time for The Great America Show, 6 p.m. Eastern Time. 0.98
