00:00:00.000 Hello everybody, I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Tuesday, November 19th.
00:00:05.880 Wheels on President Trump's transition team are going round and round as they continue to fill up roles in the cabinet.
00:00:12.500 Today, President-elect Donald Trump announced he has tapped his transition team co-chair and Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick as his next commerce secretary.
00:00:21.820 This, of course, despite Lutnick's push for treasury secretary role, President Trump figuring that Lutnick fits better in ad commerce.
00:00:30.000 We've got some news out of that New York courtroom where Judge Juan Merchant resides, you know, that courtroom where they've politically persecuted Donald Trump for the Stormy Daniels hush money payments.
00:00:41.800 Yeah, that same court in it. Well, Judge Juan Merchant today saying he will not toss that case against President Trump as we previously expected him to do so.
00:00:50.820 So instead, Juan Merchant, who must have been gotten to by Alvin Bragg and the rest of the Marxist Dems, says that he will now sentence Donald Trump on November 26th.
00:01:01.000 Now, the interesting thing about this case is President Trump cannot start his appeal process until he is sentenced.
00:01:06.520 So depending on what that sentence is on November 26th, less than a week from today, President Trump will be able to start his appeals process.
00:01:15.480 It's unlikely, highly unlikely, I should say, that President Trump heads to jail, depending on Merchant's ruling.
00:01:23.580 Even if he does rule, we can get an emergency injunction from the Supreme Court.
00:01:26.820 So it's unlikely President Trump goes to jail.
00:01:28.800 But after the sentencing, President Trump will be able to start his appeal where the case should be thrown out immediately after that Supreme Court ruling of presidential immunity.
00:01:39.780 If you folks remember, Merchant allowed testimony from former White House staff and under that Supreme Court ruling, he was not allowed to do that.
00:01:49.320 So the case should be thrown out nonetheless.
00:01:51.340 Looking over now at the Matt Gaetz attorney general controversy that we've heard for the last week or so, a hacker, a quote hacker, has reportedly obtained the transcripts of the testimony in the, quote, damaging lawfare ethics report of Matt Gaetz.
00:02:09.080 So we're unsure of who exactly this hacker is.
00:02:11.560 I'm sure it was just one of those very nice Democrat staffers who want to tank Matt Gaetz's chance of becoming the next attorney general.
00:02:20.300 What they don't realize is President Trump can just go ahead and appoint him through a recess appointment.
00:02:25.440 So no love lost there.
00:02:27.840 Senator Vance is also expected to introduce Gaetz and Pete Hegseth to senators this week where they'll begin to lobby for their gigs.
00:02:37.600 And also a new report out from Breitbart.
00:02:40.440 Top CIA and national intelligence wattdogs are resigning before Trump takes office.
00:02:46.000 Inspector Generals for the CIA, the ONDI are heading for the exit before the new Trump administration takes power.
00:02:53.880 Hmm.
00:02:54.360 I wonder why these folks are so scared of President Trump.
00:02:57.320 If you did nothing wrong, what are you running from?
00:03:01.180 I guess we're going to find out just exactly why they're running.
00:03:05.580 Folks, join us for today's episode of The Great America Show.
00:03:08.160 We're joined by my good friend and great friend of this show, Mike Lindell, founder and CEO of MyPillow and a great American.
00:03:15.120 We take up this latest election and the recounts and the counts that are still going on in states now two weeks almost after the election.
00:03:23.920 Why are we still counting votes?
00:03:25.740 We also take up 2020 and what the Republicans have to do once President Trump's back in office to ensure that a repeat of 2020 never happens again.
00:03:35.540 You remember that whole steal that they concocted and, you know, put upon us?
00:03:40.540 Yeah, we need to investigate that, folks.
00:03:42.140 There's no doubt about it.
00:03:43.360 Folks, be sure to also follow us on our new Instagram page at The Great America Show.
