The new chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is as radical as his predecessor, General Mark Milley, and playing politics as eagerly as did Milley. General Charles Brown creating controversy, saying that destroying the Hamas terrorists is a large order, and he s concerned that Israel s war in Gaza will only create more terrorists. Brown is supposed to advise the President of the United States, not the public, which is disturbing, but his remarks come from a general who hasn t won a war in two decades. The Pentagon is minting what are simply awful general officers, and they should investigate why. Another job for Congress: Talk about threats to our national security.
