00:00:00.000 Hello everybody, I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Friday, November 28th.
00:00:04.860 Happy Friday, folks, and I hope you all had a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and your loved ones.
00:00:11.260 A little bit of a summer day here in America.
00:00:13.620 20-year-old Army Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, the member from the West Virginia National Guard,
00:00:19.420 passed away last night on Thanksgiving following the horrific terrorist ambush on her
00:00:25.180 and another West Virginia Guardsman in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday.
00:00:28.920 The 2nd National Guardsman, 20-year-old Air Force Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolfe, remains in critical condition.
00:00:34.920 President Trump announcing last night around 6.30 p.m. Eastern Time,
00:00:39.060 describing her as highly respected, young, magnificent person, outstanding in every single way.
00:00:45.920 Just an absolute disgust, absolute disgrace that this is what we have to deal with in America
00:00:51.500 from these radical Islamists and anyone who hates America.
00:00:55.300 President Trump with some choice words.
00:00:57.300 This man is believed to be an Afghan refuge who left Afghanistan after the Biden botched withdrawal.
00:01:05.420 Take a listen to President Trump yesterday.
00:01:07.460 As you may know, DHS has confirmed that the suspect is an Afghan national flown here by the previous administration
00:01:15.720 who was such a bad administration.
00:01:19.160 And I have a picture of a plane.
00:01:24.680 This is what it looked like when they came in.
00:01:26.480 It was total bedlam.
00:01:27.360 Do you remember that period of time?
00:01:29.200 Total bedlam.
00:01:31.000 People crammed onto the plane.
00:01:32.620 And the toughest, meanest, most capable physically got on the plane.
00:01:39.740 Not the people that we were looking for or that they wanted to bring in.
00:01:43.660 Here's a picture for you.
00:01:44.780 Just take a look at that plane.
00:01:47.320 Standing on top of each other and sitting on top of each other.
00:01:50.180 This is what we had under the Biden administration.
00:01:52.340 That whole thing should have never, ever happened.
00:01:56.080 They should have left from a different base.
00:01:58.800 They should have left from Bagram, as you know. 0.92
00:02:01.860 And it would have been a much different story.
00:02:05.740 But they didn't do that.
00:02:07.240 And this was a this was just a route, just a terrible situation.
00:02:11.600 And this heinous atrocity reminds us that we have no greater national security priority
00:02:17.060 than ensuring that we have full control over the people that enter and remain in our country. 0.97
00:02:25.220 For the most part, we don't want them.
00:02:27.960 They come in illegally.
00:02:30.380 They have a lot of problems.
00:02:32.060 Their countries force them in because their countries are smart.
00:02:34.580 They don't want them.
00:02:35.640 Let's give them to the Americans to take care of. 1.00
00:02:37.620 They come out of jails, in many cases, mental institutions.
00:02:41.780 They're gang members. 0.90
00:02:42.960 They're drug dealers. 0.98
00:02:44.480 We don't want them.
00:02:45.520 So that's President Trump's plans moving forward.
00:02:48.700 He also yesterday took some reporter questions and totally lambasted a reporter for asking
00:02:54.460 President Trump why he blames the Biden administration for this Afghan terrorist being in our country. 1.00
00:03:00.720 I mean, how stupid? 1.00
00:03:02.840 President Trump put it a lot nicer. 1.00
00:03:04.840 Can these people be, these reporters be?
00:03:06.620 Do they hate America that much that they can't open their eyes to see what happened?
00:03:10.720 And the botched withdrawal, which is a Trojan horse we now see?
00:03:14.720 Take a listen to President Trump on this.
00:03:16.440 Why do you blame the Biden administration?
00:03:18.200 Because they let him in. 1.00
00:03:19.600 Are you stupid? 1.00
00:03:20.700 Are you a stupid person? 1.00
00:03:22.040 Because they came in on a plane along with thousands of other people that shouldn't be here. 1.00
00:03:28.100 And you're just asking questions because you're a stupid person. 1.00
00:03:30.680 And there's a law passed that it's almost impossible not to get them out. 1.00
00:03:36.480 You can't get them out once they come in.
00:03:38.840 And they came in and they were unvetted.
00:03:41.260 They were unchecked.
00:03:42.240 There were many of them.
00:03:43.480 And they came in on big planes.
00:03:45.560 And it was disgraceful.
00:03:47.280 And if you look, you'll see there was a law passed.
00:03:49.680 It makes it almost impossible not to let them in, not to certify them, so to speak, once they come in.
00:03:56.880 And they came in and they shouldn't have come in.
00:03:59.680 And frankly, the whole thing was a mess.
00:04:01.520 The whole Afghanistan situation was a mess. 1.00
00:04:04.580 We shouldn't.
00:04:05.020 It should have never taken place.
00:04:06.940 If we're going to go out and we would have gone out because I had everybody ready to go.
00:04:11.040 We were going to go out with strength and dignity and precision.
00:04:13.580 And we would have left from Bagram.
00:04:15.800 And we would have kept Bagram, by the way, because of its very close relationship to China and where they make their missiles.
00:04:22.120 But when you let the people come in by the thousands and thousands and thousands, they made a terrible mistake.
00:04:29.300 But they were incompetent.
00:04:30.520 Yeah.
00:04:30.960 I think President Trump was far too nice to that reporter.
00:04:33.320 I mean, these people must hate America.
00:04:36.040 Folks, we pray for Sarah Beckstrom and her family and that she's in her final resting place at peace.
00:04:43.300 I mean, just absolute disgrace.
00:04:45.400 Disgust that the holiday season, this is what we're dealing with here in America.
00:04:50.500 Just makes my stomach turn.
00:04:53.420 Now, FBI agents raided the $2,000 a month apartment in Bellingham, Washington on Thursday,
00:04:59.400 executing search warrants as part of a rapid expanding terrorism probe tied to the Afghan national Ramdullah Lakowal.
00:05:06.920 The gunman who ambushed and shot the two National Guard members just steps from the White House.
00:05:11.040 He's facing at least three counts of assault with intent to kill while armed, along with criminal possession of a weapon.
00:05:17.740 Now, authorities have hinted that more possible federal charges, possibly terrorism related, could be forthcoming.
00:05:24.740 And, folks, once again, just let's keep these two great Americans, these two National Guardsmen, both in our prayers.
00:05:32.780 One for, you know, eternal peace that they're now heading to the Creator,
00:05:38.380 and the other one who is in critical condition in the hospital that he pulls through.
00:05:44.220 That's all we can ask for, folks.
00:05:45.700 Prayers work.
00:05:46.580 I promise you.
00:05:47.860 Please be sure to join us, folks, tonight, 6 p.m. Eastern Time.
