00:00:04.740 Well folks, the government is officially shut down.
00:00:07.900 That's right, the Democrats continuing to play games, procedural votes this afternoon in the Senate failing
00:00:13.220 because the Democrats seemingly just won't come to the middle.
00:00:17.040 Now, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has attempted to blame President Trump and the GOP for the shutdown
00:00:22.180 and it went horribly wrong during an appearance on CNN this morning following a surprisingly tough question.
00:00:28.360 Take a listen to Schumer seemingly not be able to hear all of a sudden when asked about the government shutdown.
00:00:35.960 Every Republican who's gone on TV the last 12 hours or so has called this the Schumer shutdown.

00:00:59.400 Coincidentally, of course, Schumer couldn't hear, right, when asked the tough question about why he's got the government shut down.

00:01:07.660 The Republicans have passed many, many bills to keep the government funded for another month and he won't do it.

00:01:16.420 The GOP-backed measure failed to pass with a 55 to 45 vote.

00:01:22.040 The Democratic Party on Rand Paul decided to put the welfare of illegal aliens, surgeries for transgender minors, and more garbage ahead of keeping the government running.

00:01:34.740 Mike Johnson's been making his media rounds, had this to say on CNN last night.
00:01:38.220 Last night, three Democrats, two Democrats and an independent flipped and came along with the Republicans.
00:01:43.100 But it looks like, and what we expect, is that most of the Democrats in the Senate, again, will reject the clean CR that we sent over.

00:01:51.040 What that means is it's nonpartisan.
00:01:53.180 We didn't add any Republican priorities or poison pills or gimmicks or tricks into that at all.

00:02:01.620 It simply continues the Biden-era spending levels that Chuck Schumer and the Democrats have already supported in the past.

00:02:23.020 It's clear the Democrats hate America and will do everything they could to stop Donald Trump and this country from running smoothly.
00:02:29.640 Well, while the government's shut, the Supreme Court is still working, of course.
00:02:32.960 The Supreme Court on Wednesday allowed the embattled Federal Reserve Governor, Lisa Cook, or as some are calling her Lisa Crook, to remain in her chair for right now, at least.
00:02:42.780 The high court will hear more cases in January of 2026 and allow Cook to keep her job in the meantime.
00:02:48.460 This also means Cook will be able to participate in December's interest rate meeting.
00:02:53.640 Well, I'm sure she'll be favorable to President Trump and the country, right?
00:02:56.920 Cook filed a lawsuit against President Trump and the Federal Reserve and other Federal Reserve board members after President Trump fired her over the summer.
00:03:05.120 The Trump administration last month asked the Supreme Court to intervene after a Federalist Appeals Court blocked Trump from firing her.
00:03:11.580 Now, Cook, of course, is under investigation for none other than mortgage fraud, and so we wait.
00:03:17.340 And as this government shutdown is happening, President Trump's administration is going through line items to see what we can cut from the government to save some money.
00:03:25.720 That's right, some bloat is finally going to be cut.
00:03:28.600 And that starts with New York City.
00:03:31.080 President Trump's administration announced on Wednesday that an $18 billion infrastructure project in New York would be put on hold due to the government shutdown.
00:03:39.120 This is just one of the many that's going to happen under the Chuck Schumer shutdown.
00:03:43.240 I'm not sure Schumer knew this was going to happen when he decided he wanted to shut down the government.
00:03:49.200 President Trump's federal crime initiative in Tennessee began on Monday with the cooperation of Tennessee Governor Bill Lee,
00:03:54.880 and results are already being seen in one of the nation's highest crime Democrat-run cities.
00:03:59.940 Now, it's governed by Republicans, but the city's run by the Democrats.
00:04:03.560 Bill Lee, Governor Lee, having no issue with President Trump sending in the military to clean up the city.
00:04:10.540 Now, this comes after President Trump signed a memorandum to establish the Memphis Safe Task Force utilizing 13 federal agencies and the National Guard troops to end the crime in Memphis.
00:04:21.860 Additionally, 219 officers were specialized deputies as part of the Joint Operations Center that's now up and running there.
00:04:29.660 Well, just one week, not even a week, just a few days, nine arrests made, two illegal firearms were taken off the streets.
00:04:36.740 This is all part of President Trump's plan to make America great again, and more importantly, to make America safe again.
00:04:43.320 It's unclear why the Democrats would be so against this.
00:04:46.560 This is now the federal government in a Republican-governed state.
00:04:52.280 Now, the city's run by the Democrats, but a Republican-governed state.
00:04:56.260 And the Republicans have no problem seeing that there's an issue letting President Trump send in the federal government to save the county, save the city, and everything in between.
00:05:04.340 Pretty simple concept, folks, but Democrats don't care.
00:05:07.940 They want Donald Trump to just lose, and he won't do it.
