00:00:00.000 This is Lou Dobbs with the Great America Show midday update for October 10th.

00:00:05.060 Hamas still launching rockets into Israel, hundreds overnight targeting the city of Ashkelon.

00:00:11.380 The Israeli defense forces are massing on the Gaza southern border for a major assault

00:00:16.280 on Hamas, firing into targets in Gaza while Israeli fighter jets are attacking Hamas targets

00:00:23.160 throughout Gaza. The United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and France unified in their

00:00:28.620 support of Israel and condemning Hamas aggression. Iraq warning the United States not to get involved

00:00:35.260 in the conflict. That, as the Gerald Ford aircraft carrier strike force is taking up position near

00:00:41.720 Israel and the U.S. military shipping in munitions to Israel simultaneously. Senator Marsha Blackburn

00:00:48.980 calling for the Biden regime to freeze the six billion dollars that it agreed to release on

00:00:54.680 September 11th. The Biden administration refusing to acknowledge Iran's role in the Hamas attacks,

00:01:01.480 presumably because if they did, they'd have to take some action against the country they agreed to send

00:01:07.840 six billion dollars. President Biden speaking to the nation at 1 p.m. Eastern today.

00:01:14.940 Meanwhile, a meeting of the GOP House conference to discuss the vacant speakership

00:01:19.460 revealed what are reportedly deep divisions within the Republican Party. Congressman Jim Jordan,

00:01:25.980 considered the ideal replacement for Kevin McCarthy, doesn't have a majority of the votes apparently,

00:01:32.140 and neither did Steve Scalise, his principal opponent for the Post. But guess who wants the job?

00:01:38.140 Kevin McCarthy, floating his own name to return to the speakership. In my opinion, if the Republican

00:01:44.260 Party were to do that, it would lead to the end of the Republican Party, a suicidal act. They not

00:01:50.960 only would look like fools, they would have well earned the label. Our guest today is former Customs and 0.98

00:01:56.980 Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan. We're talking about the likelihood of terrorist groups

00:02:01.920 crossing the southern border that is wide open at will. The border that the Biden regime turned over

00:02:08.780 to the Mexican drug cartels from almost the very day President Biden was sworn in. Please join us for

00:02:15.700 all that and much more on The Great America Show. I'm Lou Dobbs with this Great America Midday Update.
