00:00:13.200 Grand jury subpoenas have been issued.
00:00:16.000 Former CIA Director John Brennan has been subpoenaed to testify next month
00:00:19.220 before a Florida grand jury is part of a Justice Department investigation
00:00:22.820 into whether former law enforcement and intelligent officials conspired against President Trump
00:00:27.860 to try and steal an election, among many other things.
00:00:32.600 Ken Weinstein, who's an attorney for Brennan, disclosed in a court filing
00:00:35.600 that prosecutors last Thursday presented him with a subpoena for Brennan
00:00:39.400 to appear October 15th before a grand jury in Fort Pierce, Florida.
00:00:44.060 He said that he was told the subpoena relates to a far-reaching, and that's a quote,
00:00:48.280 criminal probe examining a loosely defined theory that government officials
00:00:51.720 who have been harassing President Trump for almost the last decade,
00:00:55.520 including over the Russia election interference in 2016 that they say happened
00:00:59.720 and his more recent retention of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate
00:01:03.660 which he was allowed to have because he was the president of the United States
00:01:07.640 so the subpoena for Brennan is among a flurry that have been issued
00:01:11.500 in recent weeks Brennan's going to finally have to answer some questions

00:01:19.780 now the Justice Department is also investigating California Governor Gavin Newsom
00:01:23.800 and his international travel, as well as his personal spending.

00:01:29.900 requiring testimony and communications with Newsom and others.

00:02:05.220 to maybe be denaturalized take a listen to border czar tom holman over the weekend uh and what he
00:02:11.380 had to say about that investigation into ilhan omar who indeed married her brother it's her um
00:02:18.100 She is, though, a naturalized U.S. citizen.

00:03:00.500 process. So if someone lies through that process to becoming a citizen, and we can prove they,
00:03:06.600 in fact, lied or misrepresented themselves, we can absolutely denaturalize them. We've
00:03:11.180 done it before many times over the last 40 years i've been around so it's a process and then just
00:03:17.880 knowing how this is going to be received um you know what what would you say to the democrat
00:03:22.860 critics who are just going to make the argument that this is a political politically motivated
00:03:27.920 um pursuit there's nothing political about it isis enforcing laws that congress wrote

00:03:40.400 Congress, enacted by Congress and signed by President ISIS and ICE, HSI, DHS. None of us
00:03:48.100 are making this up. Our job is to enforce the laws enacted by Congress. And that's exactly what
00:03:53.420 we're going to do. And when asked to comment on that criminal investigation, here's what Holman
00:03:58.380 had to say. Well, I'm not going to comment on ongoing criminal investigation. I know things
00:04:04.340 are going on uh but i can't give specifics of what's happening but uh no we'll see i mean uh
00:04:11.320 if someone committed immigration violation someone committed marriage fraud or anything like that
00:04:16.760 regardless if they're a congressman or not uh no one's above the law so um i'll leave it at that
