00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Foss with this Great America Show midday update for Monday, July 7th.
00:00:05.200 Well, Elon Musk just can't seem to keep his mouth shut and get back to work and work on his business,
00:00:10.380 work on Tesla, maybe work on pulling Tesla's production out of China, maybe work on stopping
00:00:16.620 everything he does with his batteries in China. No, he's got his hands in another project now,
00:00:23.020 it turns out. That's right. Elon Musk is launching the America Party and he's getting some big names
00:00:28.360 behind him, likes of Mark Cuban, Anthony Scaramucci, possibly Chris Christie. It's all the winners,
00:00:37.100 I should say losers, actually, who just couldn't cut it in the Republican Party, couldn't cut it in
00:00:42.180 any primary, who now all of a sudden want to form a new party because they can't win in their own
00:00:47.920 party. Now, I'm not saying any of these guys are Republicans, but they certainly pretend like they
00:00:52.520 are. President Trump unleashing a scathing statement on Truth Social last night, slamming you on
00:00:58.280 Musk for going, quote, completely off the rails with this announcement of the America Party. In a
00:01:04.080 fiery post, President Trump criticized Musk's move as reckless and disruptive, warning that third
00:01:09.320 parties have never succeeded in America and only served to fracture the conservative movement
00:01:13.960 while helping the Marxist left. Elon's abrupt launch of the America Party stunned conservatives
00:01:20.460 this Independence Day weekend, just days after President Trump and Republicans scored a major
00:01:26.140 legislative victory by passing the big, beautiful bill. Musk, of course, vehemently against it. Now,
00:01:32.320 this landmark legislation, of course, includes a provision repealing Biden's draconian electrical
00:01:37.200 vehicle mandate, a policy that Musk had once supported. A lot of people are saying that this
00:01:43.160 is the reason why the relationship between President Trump and Musk went afoul. It had nothing to do with
00:01:48.800 President Trump. You know, we tell you here every day, and you guys all know, President Trump was against
00:01:53.620 any sort of electric vehicle mandate, and Musk knew that before he endorsed him. Now, Scott Besson was
00:01:59.900 on over the weekend with the Marxists, but they were sort of playing nice, State of the Union over
00:02:05.520 on CNN. He was asked about Elon Musk and their relationship about the White House with Dana Bash.
00:02:12.520 Take a listen.
00:02:13.300 I let you go. It's not a big secret that you had your differences with Elon Musk when he was working
00:02:19.220 in the administration. He announced this weekend that he is starting a new political party. Does
00:02:24.560 that worry the Trump administration? Look, the principles of Doge were very popular. I think if
00:02:30.680 you looked at the polling, Elon was not. So I believe that the boards of directors at his various
00:02:37.380 companies wanted him to come back and run those companies, which he is better at than anyone.
00:02:43.040 So I imagine that those board of directors did not like this announcement yesterday and will be
00:02:48.120 encouraging him to focus on his business activities, not his political activities.
00:02:53.460 Besson, absolutely right. As polling has shown, the great Mark Mitchell, who's on the show
00:02:57.280 almost every week now, Elon is not a popular figure. Now, Doge, as Besson said, was a popular
00:03:04.540 topic and a popular program that they started. But Elon Musk, personally, his popularity was just not
00:03:11.820 there. The American people just didn't see Elon as favorable as I think he sees himself.
00:03:16.560 Elon getting a little too big for his own shoes, I believe, thinking he was somehow going to be
00:03:22.280 more popular than Donald Trump. That's just not the case, Elon. He should have known that.
00:03:28.040 Now, Elon's problems don't stop there. Azoria, which is a prominent investment firm with deep
00:03:32.940 ties to tech and AI innovation, has yanked its support from Tesla ahead of a planned ETF launch,
00:03:39.560 citing Elon Musk's announcement of this America First Party. Azoria Tesla ETF,
00:03:45.900 which was set to go public next week, would have offered investors a strategic vehicle for
00:03:50.640 exposure to Tesla's high growth potential. CEO of this Azoria, James Fishback, saying on Twitter,
00:03:57.900 quote, Elon has gone too far. My investment firm Azoria has decided to postpone next week public
00:04:03.600 listing for our Azoria Tesla ETF. Our decision comes in direct response to Elon's announcement
00:04:09.060 that he's launching a new national political party. This creates a conflict with his full-time
00:04:15.060 responsibilities as CEO of Tesla. Divests his focus and energy away from Tesla's employees
00:04:20.640 and its shareholders. As President Trump had said and Besson had said, I think it's time for Elon to
00:04:25.740 just get back to work. It's unclear what exactly he is doing. A big breakthrough in the Epstein files,
00:04:33.380 I think that we've all been waiting for, but it's not the news that I think we want. Well, I know we
00:04:38.040 want. Attorney General Pam Bonney told us back in March that the files, the Epstein client lists,
00:04:44.860 were on her desk being reviewed. Let's take a trip down memory lane and listen exactly
00:04:50.560 the words that came out of her mouth.
00:04:53.160 Yeah, I saw your appearance at CPAC with Ben and with Ted Cruz. And one of the things that you
00:04:57.920 alluded to, and this is something Donald Trump has talked about, the DOJ may be releasing the list
00:05:03.460 of Jeffrey Epstein's clients. Will that really happen? It's sitting on my desk right now to review.
00:05:10.120 That's been a directive by President Trump. I'm reviewing that. I'm reviewing JFK files, MLK files.
00:05:16.580 That's all in the process of being reviewed because that was done at the directive of the
00:05:20.280 president from all of these agencies. So that was back in March. So what do we find out over the
00:05:25.460 weekend? We find out that Epstein definitely died by suicide and didn't kill himself. No client list
00:05:33.220 exists, and there's no evidence he ever blackmailed any powerful people. Now, this doesn't make much
00:05:41.200 sense, does it? Because this is the antithesis of everything we've been told by Kash Patel and
00:05:46.180 Pam Bondi and Dan Bongino before they, of course, took their very powerful roles in government.
00:05:51.220 So now it's case closed. That's it. He didn't kill himself. There's no client lists, and that's that,
00:05:59.100 and we're supposed to go on with our everyday lives, and pedophiles are supposed to be protected,
00:06:03.940 apparently. This is what it's come to. Folks, please be sure to join us tonight. We're going to have
00:06:08.620 much, much more on this on tonight's show, 6 p.m. Eastern time. Rumble YouTube, Twitter,
00:06:14.080 wherever you guys join us each and every day. We'll see you there, 6 p.m. tonight.
00:06:17.960 Happy Monday, folks. I'm John Fawcett with this Midday Update. Have a great day, everybody.
