00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Fossett with this Great America Show midday update for Monday, June 23rd, an eventful weekend, to say the least, for the United States military over in Iran, launching those bunker busters across various parts of Iran and their nuclear facilities.
00:00:16.700 Iran launching 10 missiles towards the United States bases in Qatar, as Americans are told, to shelter in place Al-Yadid Air Base, where President Trump famously was just a few months ago when he visited over the Middle East to meet with Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
00:00:31.460 10 missiles launched into that airbase, which holds 10,000 American troops and over 100 U.S. military airplanes. None of those missiles, thank God, landing anywhere inside the base.
00:00:45.360 Qatar's version of the Iron Dome able to stop all of those missiles from coming into the country and onto the American base there in Al-Yadid.
00:00:55.260 Colonel Ibrahim Zulfgranhani, who's a spokesman of the headquarters for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, stated that the criminal United States, through its continued full-scale support for a Zionist regime and their aggression,
00:01:09.260 has directly entered into war with Iran by blatantly violating the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic and launching an attack on Iran's sacred soil.
00:01:17.920 This comes as he's now threatening President Trump, saying they're, quote, warriors of Islam and will launch a powerful and well-planned operation.
00:01:27.000 You started it and we will finish it, according to the Islamist dictator over there.
00:01:34.020 I don't think it's going to end well for them to be sending threatening messages like that to President Trump.
00:01:39.720 Now, all this comes as Israel has reportedly sent messages to Iran through its intermediaries that it intends to end the ongoing war within days,
00:01:48.880 despite the fact that it has been accelerating its attacks and widening its targets.
00:01:53.600 Just earlier this afternoon, as Iran was launching those missiles at the American base in Qatar,
00:01:59.480 Israel was launching strikes on the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps,
00:02:03.280 their elite force, of course, the United States considers a terrorist organization.
00:02:06.600 Israel's Army Radio reported that its first attack on the IRGC and the Israeli Defense Forces
00:02:12.820 departed from its unusual practice of sending warnings out of the airstrikes to minimize casualties.
00:02:19.100 In this case, the IDF aimed to kill as many IRGC soldiers as possible.
00:02:23.240 Army Radio said that dozens had likely been killed in their bases.
00:02:27.280 During the recent series of strikes this afternoon, the IDF struck several military command centers
00:02:32.180 that belonged to the Iranian regime, including the Dar-Ala Command Center,

00:02:39.520 which is designated to defend Tehran from security threats, including internal threats.
00:02:44.980 So, Iran seems to be under a little bit of trouble and a little bit of pressure.
00:02:50.600 We'll see how that all plays out for them and their threats that they continue to make to America and to Israel.

00:02:58.480 NATO nations have agreed to increase defense spending to 5% GDP.
00:03:03.840 Members of the Western NATO Military Alliance reportedly agreed to increase the defense spending
00:03:08.260 to, like I said, the 5% within the next decade in a major victory for President Trump and for America,
00:03:14.760 who have long demanded that America's allies pay more for their defense.
00:03:18.580 It all comes, I guess, at a very highly peculiar time as the war between Israel and Iran ramps up
00:03:25.260 and it comes as the NATO summit happening this week in The Hague, in the Netherlands.

00:03:56.140 threatening to supply Iran with nuclear warheads.

00:04:01.580 specifically called out the former Russian president and the current Security Council deputy,
00:04:06.260 Dmitry Medvedev, for suggesting that a number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran
00:04:11.360 with their own nuclear warheads.
00:04:13.920 I think that would be a very, very big mistake, should they decide to do that.

00:04:21.320 Did I hear former President Medvedev from Russia casually throwing out, throwing around the N-word, nuclear,
00:04:28.320 saying that he and other countries would supply nuclear warheads to Iran?
00:04:32.280 Did he really say that, or is it just a figment of my imagination?
00:04:36.200 If he did say that, and it is confirmed, please let me know immediately.
