00:01:14.940 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs. Welcome to The Great America Show. Thanks for being with us.

00:01:23.000 Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell stepping down in November. McConnell made the announcement

00:01:27.920 on the Senate floor yesterday. This is the time for conservatives to get a hold of their senators

00:01:33.740 and tell them to replace McConnell with an America First leader who will work with President Trump,

00:01:40.120 not against him. And elsewhere on Capitol Hill, Hunter Biden testified yesterday before the Joint

00:01:46.840 House Oversight and Judiciary Committee hearing. It didn't take long before he perjured himself in

00:01:52.800 his opening statement. He said this, quote, I am here today to provide the committees with the one

00:01:58.840 uncontestable fact that should end the false premise of this inquiry. I did not involve my father in my

00:02:05.660 business, not while I was a practicing lawyer, not in my investments or transactions, domestic or

00:02:12.140 international, not as a board member and not as an artist, never, end quote. That statement directly

00:02:19.640 contradicts almost all of the evidence and witness testimony that we've heard so far in the Biden

00:02:25.820 impeachment inquiry. Here's Congressman Dan Golden of New York. He seems to be the latest Mark C.

00:02:32.180 Dem Lackey for the Biden crime family. Get this. Golden says the Republicans bringing Hunter in for

00:02:39.820 a deposition is nothing more than the Republicans working for Putin and the Russians. That's right.

00:02:47.040 Working for Putin and the Russians. The Marxist Dems don't have Trump derangement, folks.

00:02:53.440 They have demonic derangement. They lie and then they lie some more. Here's Golden. 0.97

00:02:59.080 So it is not simply there's no connection to the president, which we've known all along and which

00:03:06.080 was made clear again. But there is a very understandable, coherent business explanation for

00:03:12.900 every single thing that they ask for. And now that all of this China stuff or Romania or Kazakhstan

00:03:20.900 is clearly, clearly baseless and bogus, the only thing that the Republicans have left are these

00:03:29.720 Burisma allegations, which we now know were completely made up by their source, who's now been indicted

00:03:36.680 because he was working with Russian intelligence to interfere in our election. And so let's be very

00:03:42.420 clear, because that is the only basis to move forward with an impeachment inquiry. If this impeachment

00:03:48.120 inquiry continues, then Chairman Comer and Chairman Jordan are working with Russia to interfere in the

00:03:56.100 November 2024 election on behalf of Vladimir Putin in for the benefit of Donald Trump. That is what this

00:04:06.300 has been reduced to now. And that is what this first hour showed us. Can you believe that? While

00:04:12.140 Golden is clearly delusional, Chairman Comer had a far different stance on just how the deposition went.

00:04:19.640 Deposition still ongoing. I have a bill on the House floor. I'm going to run across the street.

00:04:23.800 Republicans are still currently asking questions. But I think this was a great deposition for us.

00:04:30.180 It proved several bits of our evidence that we've been conducting throughout this investigation.

00:04:37.560 But there are also some contradictory statements that I think need further review.

00:04:42.240 So this impeachment inquiry will now go to the next phase, which will be a public hearing.

00:04:47.180 And that's something that I think everyone in the media has been asking a lot of questions about,

00:04:52.520 something that I know that Mr. Biden and his attorney both demanded. Just as I said,

00:04:57.880 when we said we were going to do the deposition first, we will have a public hearing next. So I

00:05:03.380 think that the public hearing hopefully will clear up some discrepancies between some of the

00:05:08.760 statements that were made between some of the associates and what we heard today. But all in

00:05:13.080 all, I'm very optimistic, very excited about this deposition. And I look forward to releasing the

00:05:19.600 transcripts as soon as both sides agree to that. Hopefully that'll be within the next two or three days.

00:05:24.780 Chairman Comer has been nothing but transparent throughout this whole investigation.

00:05:29.540 And he's certainly the right man to lead the impeachment inquiry.

00:05:33.280 Our guest today is Congressman Tim Burchett, member of the House Oversight Committee.

00:05:38.140 And Congressman, it's always good to talk with you. Chuck Schumer, the Senate Majority Leader,

00:05:42.840 saying negotiators are very close to a deal. Are you excited? What are your thoughts?

00:05:48.020 Well, I don't know, Lou. You know, we don't have a border that I'm not voting for a budget. I'll tell you

00:05:55.180 that. We've got this is the biggest issue facing our country right now. And it's it's fentanyl. It's

00:06:02.480 $400 billion a year. It's it's throwing elections because people are going to use these mail in ballots,

00:06:10.760 I'm afraid, that are coming here illegally because you don't show any ID. And and it and it puts our 1.00

00:06:17.800 national security at risk with all these Chinese that are coming over. They're not crossing two or 1.00

00:06:23.540 three continents for freedom. They could have stayed somewhere else. There's something really bad and

00:06:28.760 nefarious going on. And I wish I wish the White House and Schumer would would realize that.

00:06:39.120 Well, it's pretty clear that with that private meeting between Speaker Johnson and President Biden,

00:06:46.800 that something may unfold here that that's going to be at least revelatory, if not if not pleasing.

00:06:55.820 What are your thoughts about what the likely outcome is of these negotiations, particularly on the budget?

00:07:03.100 I think I just don't have a lot of faith in in what's going on. They always come out and say we've come to

00:07:09.280 this agreement. Well, I haven't come to an agreement. You know, it's great that they can do that and the people

00:07:14.200 that will fall in line. But I I'm I'm still I'm optimistic. I really am. I think Speaker Johnson wants to do

00:07:21.420 the right thing. He's he's got a one person majority or maybe not even that. He has to be careful when he

00:07:27.320 goes to the floor that the Democrats aren't in the majority and can take over. So it's a real it's a real

00:07:33.680 chess game right now. What's going on? And and we we, as you know, we generally play checkers and the other

00:07:41.000 side always plays chess. So hopefully we we've we've upped our game. I would hope, though, that the president

00:07:49.260 understands the dire consequences of this border situation and that, you know, the little girl

00:07:55.240 getting murdered over in Georgia. I mean, that's just you multiply that across the country. You can't

00:08:00.700 run into anybody who hasn't had a family member or or knows someone who's been impacted by fentanyl

00:08:06.900 that's come over our southern border and they just can't hide it anymore. They can't hide it in the

00:08:12.640 and the national media can't hide it for them anymore. The American public sees it. And that's why

00:08:17.820 that's why Biden wins the border. And that's why. So my hope is, is that we pulled a rabbit out of

00:08:26.140 her hat and we'll get a real border deal on this thing. Yeah. And pessimism about that possibility

00:08:33.220 runs high. And Biden on the border on part of Texas and and the president in Eagles Pass, Texas,

00:08:43.200 where he'll be there with these all of these state authorities, the National Guard, everyone there

00:08:50.120 and the head of the Border Patrol Union, who won't have anything to do with Joe Biden, interestingly

00:08:56.500 enough, despite going along with that crazy border bill that Mitch McConnell put in front of everybody.

00:09:03.360 But here we are. And we are watching a remarkable development, I think. And that is that Matt

00:09:13.220 Rosendale is under attack by the by the left. Former Senator Heidi Heitkamp accused making all sorts of

00:09:22.300 salacious claims on a podcast. We've got a campaign that's underway against the Republicans running from

00:09:30.860 probably the White House. This is going to be a tough, tough battle. And I think the gloves are

00:09:37.160 coming off McConnell resigning effective in November. I think the country is cheering that.

00:09:43.960 But the Republicans, it's going to be very important what they do. What do you expect?

00:09:48.900 I expect 20 million Americans that decided to stay home last time for a mean tweet, 0.89

00:09:55.200 get off their butts and do what's right for this country. And, you know, I always remember a prayer 0.70

00:10:01.400 my dad made on the night Bill Clinton won. Daddy, you didn't know my daddy, but he was a United States

00:10:06.280 Marine combat veteran, Second World War, First Marine Division, invasion of Okinawa and Peleli.

00:10:12.580 He prayed. He said, Lord, please don't let us lose our country. And to me, that was very profound.

00:10:18.780 And this one is for all the marbles. We will lose our country, Lou, as you and I know it.

00:10:24.780 The Marxists are in control. They're openly defiant. They are openly, they attack our country, our

00:10:33.220 values, our religious beliefs, everything that we hold near and dear to our heart, and they're allowed

00:10:38.220 to do it. And the media is right in there with them. Because anybody who stands up for their children,

00:10:43.780 as you know, you know, our own FBI accuses parents who go after pornography being spread in their

00:10:53.160 classrooms, in the public classrooms that taxpayers are paying for it. When a parent stands up to that,

00:10:58.040 the FBI labels them a domestic terrorist. We have lost control of the whole thing, Lou. It is not a

00:11:04.920 swamp. You know, a swamp is something God created. It's a system, as I've stated many times, it's a system

00:11:11.320 that filters water. It's an ecosystem. We have an open sewer right now. It all flows in, and nothing

00:11:18.200 flows out. And if we don't, if we do not address this at the polls this time, we will lose our country.

00:11:25.420 Without a question. This is the existential election that we have all been fearing, and which is arriving

00:11:32.200 in some eight months. I want to go to the issue of Matt Rosendale. Your thoughts about the comments that

00:11:39.980 were made, the slurs against him by a former Democratic senator. You're thinking about that.

00:11:49.700 Well, to me, it's the old double standard. Just say it was true. And I mean, look, we've got a 0.89

00:11:57.280 Democrat member of Congress who Nancy Pelosi allowed to sit on Intelligence Committee that had a

00:12:04.980 relationship with a known Chinese communist spy, and that was broadcast everywhere. And the intelligence

00:12:12.240 people said he should not be on there, but Pelosi kept him on. You know, it's just, and, you know,

00:12:18.780 those kind of things, you know, it turns my stomach. Rosendale's a buddy of mine, and it just makes me sick,

00:12:28.300 and that they're allowed to get by with that. And where is the media calling her out? You know who's 1.00

00:12:33.000 doing it? It's people like yourself who've got some guts, who used to, when you say you worked for

00:12:38.040 the media, it was back when it had a little bit of a class about it. You know, you verify things,

00:12:44.800 and this bunch today sure does, and the left has allowed a free hand at it. And it's just,

00:12:51.020 we are under attack, top to bottom, every aspect of any, and Rosendale's a known conservative. He and I,

00:12:58.900 and we sit close to each other on the floor, and we talk every day. And this was just more of the

00:13:05.380 same. You know, they start these whisper campaigns, and then boom, they put it out nationally. And

00:13:12.300 there's no time for him to defend. He's guilty. You know, he is guilty before anything else. And

00:13:18.840 we've just, we've allowed them to take over. As I've stated many times, the money changers are

00:13:28.900 running the temple right now. We're talking with Congressman Tim Burchip,

00:13:33.200 and we ask you to stay with us, because we'll come right back. I promise. Stay with us.

00:13:39.160 Folks, you know, I beg everyone to get ready for the next crisis. And when it comes,

00:13:43.900 our lives will likely change overnight, whether it's natural disaster, war, or another disease.

00:13:50.220 We have to be ready as we can be. We saw what happened in 2020 when we found ourselves

00:13:55.080 dependent on global supply chains. We're still dependent on China and other countries

00:13:59.540 for more than 90% of all our pharmaceuticals. With clusters of respiratory illnesses popping up

00:14:05.360 around the world and here, we need to be prepared. And now is the time to make certain you have what

00:14:11.800 your family needs when the next crisis hits. Our good friends, Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Drew

00:14:17.180 Penske over at the Wellness Company have put together just what you and I need with the Wellness

00:14:21.860 Company's Medical Emergency Kit. And now the Wellness Company's Medical Kit provides a solution

00:15:11.760 We're back now. We're talking with Congressman Tim Burchard. And please, Congressman, give us your

00:15:21.780 sense on Mike Johnson. There are rumors that there are folks ready to move, to vacate, to replace the

00:15:30.760 Speaker. I think that's just about all we need right now is another fight on Capitol Hill. What are your

00:15:38.920 thoughts? Yeah. Well, I hope that's not the case, Lou. You know, I studied psychology, people's

00:15:46.500 psychology, not so much in the books. I studied it in college, of course. But I've noticed something

00:15:52.800 that a lot of the folks, and I was one of the original eight that voted to oust the previous

00:15:58.340 Speaker. And I've noticed several of the people that you would have thought would have voted vacate

00:16:04.580 didn't that last time. And now they're kind of chomping at the bit at something because

00:16:09.980 they felt like they got, they caught grief when they got home because they knew in their hearts

00:16:16.080 where they should have been. And they just didn't want to step out on that ledge with us. And because

00:16:22.020 it was a lonely, it was a lonely time sitting on that house floor with eight of us, I want to tell

00:16:26.340 you. And, and so I think that's part of it. And part of it is just dissatisfaction. But the reality

00:16:33.260 is, we're one, when the former Speaker decided to leave a year early, after he was dethroned,

00:16:41.080 that put us one vote away. So if you've got somebody who's sick, you have a death in a family,

00:16:46.600 somebody who can't make it, somebody caught in traffic, you know, we lose key votes. And,

00:16:52.400 and that's, and so it's a very, it's very important. I think right now that we have a

00:16:57.220 cohesive nature, especially going into this election cycle, because President Trump has stated that

00:17:04.780 very much how he likes Mike Johnson. And, and so I would hope that that would carry some weight,

00:17:11.460 but we do not, I don't, I do not think we need another vacate to tear right now.

00:17:15.840 Yeah. I think that has to carry weight and, you know, carried a lot of weight when the president said

00:17:21.440 that McConnell's bill, border bill, so-called, was political suicide for the, for the Republicans.

00:17:30.460 That, that pretty much ended that. I think everybody knows right now, he's not only the

00:17:34.520 presumptive nominee of the Republican Party, he is without question, across the board, the leader

00:17:39.920 of the Republican Party. And that takes me to my next question, which is Senator Schumer

00:17:45.180 announcing he's stepping down in November. Now, the man has health issues, he has family problems,

00:17:51.420 apparently, as well, family concerns. I should put it that way. I don't mean to imply anything

00:17:57.180 else. You said Schumer, you meant McConnell. I'm sorry. Did I say Schumer? Thank you.

00:18:04.140 McConnell. You're wishing, you're wishing that. Yes, sir. I have no comment on that, Senator,

00:18:11.340 as they say in the movies, but you're, I appreciate the correction. McConnell is, you know,

00:18:18.040 shoulder to shoulder with Schumer. And I have to say, I, there's not going to, I don't believe

00:18:24.260 there are going to be many tears when the man leaves. I think the real tears are about,

00:18:28.260 why is he waiting till November? Your reaction?

00:18:32.020 Yeah. I suspect it's so they can cut a deal to put somebody else in power that, that won't be

00:18:39.720 quite as conservative as you and I would like. And that, and I, I wish he would, um, when, you know,

00:18:46.220 I, I hope they're not cut, they haven't already cut a deal, put a moderate in, as, um, in that

00:18:52.080 position. We need somebody strong right now. We need somebody that's going to have the back of

00:18:56.340 President Trump and frankly, somebody that can work with the house because we haven't, we haven't

00:19:01.220 really seen a lot of that as of late. The deal cutting and things to me, um, were, were not very

00:19:07.240 advantageous to us and the conservative cause. And, um, but it's just to get, you can get along to

00:19:13.460 get along kind of thing. You know, we, we're taking 5 trillion, we spend 7 trillion. That's

00:19:17.900 just the way we've always done it. You know, that kind of mentality. And it's got to go loose. It's

00:19:22.940 got it. We got to get, we got to get back to the basics. We got to start managing our money,

00:19:28.400 managing our, our borders and, um, and, and not being the world's peacekeeper because that historically

00:19:35.300 that has proven very, um, detrimental to us and our, and our financial wellbeing.

00:19:42.480 Well, we're in a peculiar place. And I asked you about McConnell, uh, because I think we're

00:19:47.960 going to see big changes in Washington, DC. First of all, President Trump will be returned

00:19:52.460 to, to the white house. Uh, McConnell means that there's an opportunity to put real leadership

00:19:58.360 in there. My personal view is that John Thune is no way fit to be the leader of anything,

00:20:06.220 let alone, uh, the leader of the minority or the majority of the case, uh, uh, is such, uh,

00:20:12.640 in, in the U S Senate, uh, Joni Ernst, uh, another member of leadership hasn't even, uh, endorsed

00:20:19.660 President Trump, nor has McConnell. Uh, and, and by the way, Thune only endorsed him a few days ago.

00:20:26.180 Uh, this is a recalcitrant bunch of rhinos and they, they need to be, you know, to step back and

00:20:33.760 step down in a way. Uh, I just can't imagine putting any one of them in there. Um, have you

00:20:39.840 got any favorites in the race that, that is yet to be run? No, sir. Uh, being from Tennessee and

00:20:46.120 unless it's, unless it's Hagerty or, or Marsha Blackburn, I don't, I don't, um, I'm cause I know

00:20:53.620 once they cut that deal that we're not gonna, you know, the unit party will be once again in,

00:20:59.360 in command. And, um, I, I don't have a lot of, I don't have a lot of hope in that and faith in

00:21:05.960 that system over there because it's just, it's old school. It's news fan. It's, you know, the G

00:21:11.480 street, the K street lobbyists, excuse me. Um, they're going to be moving and operating, you know,

00:21:18.200 interesting thing about McConnell. He didn't, you know, in the house, we have to pay dues. We have

00:21:24.900 to raise so much money if we want to go up in, in the, in the structure, which is really, I think

00:21:29.820 crooked, crooked as the dog's leg, as they would say in East Tennessee, but McConnell took on that

00:21:35.740 role and he raised all the money in the, um, um, in, in, in, in his caucus in those races, 0.91

00:21:45.520 which I thought was interesting, you know, for the, for the caucus, uh, operation. And, and, uh,

00:21:52.100 that made people that switched over from the house to the Senate, they love that, but it really,

00:21:56.160 what it did was it consolidated all the power within him. And so whoever has that position

00:22:02.600 will have at their fingertips, multi, multi millions of dollars, um, to, uh, to negotiate

00:22:10.860 other, uh, other legislative races, just the, the whole, the whole agenda. So I, I would hope

00:22:18.380 you'd have somebody that had some conservative landing slew because if we don't, again, this

00:22:23.300 continuation of, you know, well, they paid their dues kind of thing. I don't give a rip if they

00:22:28.700 paid their dues. I want to know if they're going to, if they're going to serve the country

00:22:32.880 and their constituents and not, and not the lobbyist and not the international crowd.

00:22:37.440 Right. I agree with you a hundred percent. We're talking with Congressman Tim Burchett

00:22:42.520 and, uh, we're talking about succession in the Senate and we're talking about success

00:22:48.500 in the house. When we come back right after these quick words, stay with us.

00:22:54.440 Lou Dobbs here. I'm delighted to let you all know that the program Lou Dobbs tonight has returned to

00:23:00.880 the air. That's right. Lou Dobbs tonight is back. We're live each and every weeknight at 7 PM

00:23:09.020 Eastern and 6 PM central on rumble.com slash Lou Dobbs. That's rumble.com slash Lou Dobbs. I hope

00:23:18.920 you'll be joining us for Lou Dobbs tonight as our fight to save this country has only begun.

00:23:30.880 We're back with Congressman Tim Burchett and Congressman, I want to turn to, well, a few

00:23:37.000 things. Uh, when we talk about Schumer and the negotiations of border security in Ukraine,

00:23:43.600 why is it none of these, these issues can be just resolved? I mean, flat out killed or flat out,

00:23:51.960 uh, agreed to, uh, it's, it's as if there is this, uh, Chinese water torture. It just keeps coming

00:23:58.740 and dribs and drabs. And, uh, it's, it's sickening to watch it because you know, the establishment is

00:24:05.200 just simply trying to wear down the, the rational minority, uh, on Capitol Hill and neither house.

00:24:12.740 Absolutely. Absolutely. I, you know, the only people that are profiting under this situation

00:24:18.320 are the, um, the national chambers of commerce. And then they want people in this country that are

00:24:23.260 illegal. They can pay under the table. They can, they fall off your roof while they're roofing it.

00:24:28.060 They, they can't sue you because they're afraid they'll, they'll, they'll get deported. It's

00:24:32.500 not your local chambers of commerce, but you remember a few years back when they shocked the

00:24:37.060 world, the chamber of commerce endorsed, I think it was either 12 or 14 of Nancy Pelosi's

00:24:42.300 lieutenants in the house of representatives. And they, and they, lo and behold, they ended up

00:24:46.640 holding onto the, to the, um, to the majority by a thin margin. And it was because of that support.

00:24:52.760 And these folks are not out, you know, they're not out for commerce. They're out for

00:24:57.200 themselves. It's that uniparty thing. It's these Republicans that vote like Democrats and

00:25:02.580 Democrats that will, will, will lean over to, to stay in power. And that's what we're up

00:25:08.820 against, Lou. I don't see it. And it, it, and until America wakes up and, and two, they

00:25:15.120 need to start holding us accountable. Dadgummit. I hear people say, Oh, he said, man, I hear

00:25:20.600 your, you need to really work with such and such on these bills. And then I'll go read

00:25:24.740 the bills like our, um, uh, what was it? The, um, uh, infrastructure bill. 15% of it is

00:25:32.060 what you and I would consider traditional infrastructure or less. The rest was a bunch

00:25:36.620 of woke garbage programs, but because they got their little portion of it in there, they 0.99

00:25:41.400 were for it. You know, you read down 2000 page bill, you get to page 18, it takes care 0.99

00:25:46.720 of your constituents or that lobbyists. You need degrees and you stop reading and you

00:25:51.180 vote for it. And that kills us. They don't want to change. They don't want single issue

00:25:56.640 spending bills. They want it. They love it. Like it is. They love it. When we pass a continued

00:26:01.380 resolution because guess what? It keeps funding those crappy, awful programs that were put in 0.86

00:26:07.240 under Schumer and Pelosi. And they love it when it just stays like it is all this other fighting 0.54

00:26:13.280 and stuff to me is a big diversion. It's the spending. It's the people getting rich off our

00:26:17.960 tax dollars that, that I think we really need to be watching. And we're not because of all this

00:26:24.500 craziness going on. And, um, you know, we do for a little bit and then we move on, but it's just,

00:26:30.320 to me, it just, it, it just confounds me that we don't pay better attention to those things

00:26:36.260 because this border thing could be fixed. The president could do it through executive order

00:26:40.840 and just how big it is. You remember they told Trump, they told president Trump, you couldn't

00:26:47.100 have $4 billion cause we couldn't afford it. And then they didn't even bat an eye when they have

00:26:51.920 114 billion to Ukraine. And now we've seen over 50 different instances where they've stolen that

00:27:01.140 money. It's been documented 50. I mean, how many does it take Lou? And they, and they, and they're

00:27:06.840 making us act like we're unpatriotic cause we don't want to give Ukraine any more money.

00:27:11.440 Yeah. Yeah. Well, they're, you know, we're, we're being led by fools all over the, all over Capitol

00:27:17.340 Hill, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. I'm, I'm the only place I reserve opinion on, on their quality of the, 0.95

00:27:25.620 of the folks is in terms of the Supreme court. Uh, I'm, I waver, but I haven't yet decided that

00:27:33.060 they're just, uh, I'm hoping they not, they're not what they most recently appeared, uh, because

00:27:39.000 otherwise we're going to have even bigger troubles. I want to, I want to turn to Joe Biden. Uh, he's

00:27:45.500 getting his physical, but we know that mercifully he will not have a cognitive test and he won't have

00:27:51.840 a neurological exam. But we also know that unfortunately, if ever, ever a man needed both,

00:27:58.600 uh, he's not getting it because his doctor said he would just wouldn't advise it. I mean,

00:28:03.320 that's sort of a metaphor for what's going on in, in Washington. Uh, there's little rationality.

00:28:09.480 There's little relationship between obvious cause and effect and appearances. Uh, you know, I'm just

00:28:16.000 not, I'm not sure what to think when you have a man as impaired as he is. And his doctor is telling 0.95

00:28:21.820 him, whatever you do, don't take a cognitive test. Your, your thoughts.

00:28:26.480 Well, the courts even said, you know, that, that ruling that was in the finding or what,

00:28:32.640 I'm not a lawyer, so I'm probably misspeaking, but they said, you know, he, he's an older,

00:28:36.840 he's an older gentleman. He doesn't, he shouldn't be on the, you know, he shouldn't be up there

00:28:40.440 trying something. And I just think it's, they're creating a, a scenario where all this criminal

00:28:48.600 activity, they're going to be able just to say, well, you know what? He was, he was, um,

00:28:54.600 he's not capable of, of, of the cognitive ability, but he can still be president of the United

00:29:00.800 States. It just doesn't make any sense to me, Lou. It doesn't make any sense other than

00:29:05.700 the puppet masters. They've got their puppet. You know, the people in Obama's administration

00:29:11.400 are still pulling those strings and he's getting, you know, these 25 year old kids come out of

00:29:15.700 some Northeastern liberal school and they, and they're in his office whispering in his ear stuff,

00:29:22.020 you know, that's, that's who's running the country. And this, and we've got a dawdling

00:29:26.220 older gentleman who, who needs to, you know, needs to go home and play with his grandchildren.

00:29:32.120 That's what he needs to do. He needs to get out of, he doesn't need to be anywhere near the 0.99

00:29:35.700 nuclear football. I'll tell you that we're making decisions. Okay. You know, Australia is even

00:29:40.820 in front of us. Australia what? I said, Australia is even making fun of, of this, this white house. 0.50

00:29:48.720 I mean, it's just, you know, there's, you, you, you name any country in the world. I saw,

00:29:53.320 I just saw something this morning. Now they did some parody of, of Joe Biden and it actually,

00:29:58.260 it looked pretty much like him. And, um, you know, they're making fun of him, stumbling

00:30:02.520 around, shuffling his feet, stumbling over his words. And, you know, people knock me, uh, because

00:30:08.600 sometimes I get tongue tied, but you know what, I'm not deciding if we go to war or not, um, you

00:30:13.960 know, theoretically, I'm not the one that's got my finger on the trigger either.

00:30:17.460 You know, what's funny about that is you're supposed to be the one deciding the house of

00:30:22.320 representatives is the only body that can declare war. And you're the only folks to get left

00:30:27.100 out of just about every national security issue. There is, I mean, we've got us quite

00:30:32.260 a world and quite a government and a body politic right now. Congressman, we appreciate you spending

00:30:37.840 part of your day with us as always, uh, you're, you know, it's, uh, you're always interesting and

00:30:44.380 straightforward and that's refreshing. Uh, we appreciate it. Thanks so much.

00:30:49.820 Thank you. Thank you, Lou. It's an honor. It's just an honor for me and my low stature to come on

00:30:56.160 with somebody of your stature. I appreciate you. You're the man. Let's not do a stature off. Let's

00:31:01.880 not do a stature off. I defer to the U S Congress every time. Thanks.
