Hunter Biden files a lawsuit against his father's government, alleging the IRS improperly disclosed his personal information to Congress. Rep. McCarthy threatens to remove the Speaker of the House, Chuck Schumer waives the dress code in the Senate, and more!
00:01:36.920House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, and House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith.
00:01:46.200All three committees involved in the investigation of the Biden crime family.
00:01:51.020There was, however, plenty of rhino House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.
00:01:55.900McCarthy made his weekly appearance on Fox News, though, where he was asked about Congressman Matt Gaetz's threat to remove McCarthy because he broke his promises to the Freedom Caucus.
00:02:07.720The Speaker didn't deny that, but he did say Gaetz must want to work with nasty Adam Schiff and the Marxist Dems.
00:02:15.220If you did a motion to vacate, you would have to, a handful of Republicans, work with Adam Schiff, Eric Swalwell, Ihan Omar to remove the Speaker.
00:02:24.800And it would be exactly what the President wants because it would shut down.
00:02:29.660How would we, you know all the way we went through in January, how would we ever select the Speaker?
00:02:34.080I would stay and we'd go through it so there would be no investigation.
00:02:36.820Notice McCarthy makes no mention of the 30-day spending delay deal he wants to make with the Marxist Dems in order to postpone a government shutdown.
00:02:47.120McCarthy clearly terrified of the prospect of being publicly humiliated by a motion to vacate.
00:02:54.280McCarthy did finally acknowledge, though, President Trump will be the 2024 nominee.
00:03:00.400Rhino McCarthy stopped just short, though, of endorsing Donald Trump.
00:03:04.880President Trump is stronger today than he was in 2016 or 2020, and there's a reason why.
00:03:10.180They saw the policies of what he was able to do with America, putting America first, making our economy stronger.
00:04:43.440There actually was not a lot of pushback within his agency.
00:04:46.680The IRS supervision supervisors either supported him in what he was doing or those that didn't like it really backed away from the case and weren't involved.
00:04:55.100It wasn't until he disclosed his concerns to U.S. Attorney David Weiss that there began to be problems for him.
00:05:01.000And that's when Weiss began retaliating against him.
00:05:03.820And that's what set him on this path of deciding to come forward, both the retaliation and the knowledge that, you know,
00:05:09.700as Weiss disclosed, Biden-appointed U.S. attorneys were blocking charges from being brought against Hunter Biden.
00:05:15.640There's some sort of psychotic break in the collective minds of the Biden regime.
00:05:20.080This lawsuit is they attack, harass, and persecute President Trump, even for his taxes, for which there was no underlying crime at all.
00:05:28.700Well, joining us now to take all of this up and much more is the founder of the Article 3 Project, Mike Davis.
00:05:54.460Well, I'll tell you this, David Weiss, that people say he's the Trump U.S. attorney.
00:05:58.640I was the chief counsel for nominations on the Senate Judiciary Committee when David Weiss's nomination went through.
00:06:05.680And I'll tell you, he is handpicked by both Democrats, home state senators in Delaware.
00:06:13.860That's how the bogus blue slip process has worked in the Senate for the last more than 100 years, where the home state senators get to hand select the U.S. attorney who could prosecute them for corruption,
00:06:29.080the district court judge who would oversee their corruption trial, and the U.S. marshal who would escort these home state senators to prison.
00:06:37.800David Weiss has proven that he is a Biden champion over the last several years.
00:06:45.060He got evidence deemed credible by the Pittsburgh U.S. attorney that Joe Biden and Hunter Biden, the Biden family, were taking federal bribes, allegedly, and did nothing about this.
00:06:57.860He has protected Hunter Biden for many months on these gun charges, tax evasion charges, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act charges, wire-fried charges.
00:07:13.240The only charge—so he let the statute of limitations expire on Hunter Biden—on two years of Hunter Biden's tax evasion charges for millions of dollars.
00:07:23.060He was trying to—he was trying to come up with a sweetheart deal with Hunter, where Hunter was going to plead guilty to this gun charge with a diversion agreement,
00:07:32.280so the gun charge would go away, and he wouldn't have to spend a day in jail.
00:07:37.220And this diversion agreement had this secret backdoor pardon for Hunter on every possible crime, it appears.
00:07:43.960This Delaware district judge, to her great credit, smoked this out, and now David Weiss is protecting Hunter Biden again,
00:07:55.300because if they—if the House Republicans would have known about this backdoor pardon,
00:08:01.840Hunter Biden wouldn't be able to plead the Fifth Immunity against—or Fifth Amendment against—the right against self-incrimination,
00:08:08.780and he could have been hauled before these House oversight committees to testify.
00:08:13.840He could have—they could have made him produce his documents and made him produce his testimony.
00:08:18.860But now, with this sweetheart deal out the way, now what Hunter Biden can say is,
00:08:25.040I'm sorry, guys, I can't cooperate with the House right now because I have these pending charges against me and these pending allegations.
00:08:32.240And what's going to happen is, after November 5th, 2024, Joe Biden is going to pardon Hunter,
00:08:40.980and maybe even Joe Biden is going to pardon himself, and then David Weiss is either going to dismiss these federal charges with prejudice,
00:08:50.720meaning they go away, or David Weiss is going to come to another sweetheart deal.
00:08:54.820But all these charges—all these gun charges do is protect Hunter Biden, and more importantly,
00:09:01.600they protect President Joe Biden, David Weiss's boss, during the election season, right?
00:09:09.160So people need to understand that they should not be fooled about these charges.
00:09:14.120And Hunter Biden has now filed suit against the Internal Revenue Service.
00:09:20.660And in that lawsuit, he alleges that IRS agents illegally released his tax information from the laptop that he says isn't his.
00:09:33.440This is clearly a move by Hunter Biden and his high-priced, high-powered Democrat attorney, Abby Lowell.
00:09:46.020They're trying to threaten and intimidate, retaliate against these IRS whistleblowers,
00:09:53.640and they're trying to send a very stern message to other potential whistleblowers that if they come forward, they're going to pay a price.
00:10:02.800And to me, this seems like obstruction of a congressional investigation to me.
00:10:07.560This seems like obstruction of justice.
00:10:09.840If you bring a frivolous lawsuit like this against the IRS because two of their IRS agents are doing their statutory duty,
00:10:19.980federal statutory duty by blowing the whistle to Congress on this corruption and cover-up by the Biden IRS and the Biden Justice Department,
00:10:29.140they should not face this kind of retaliation.
00:10:57.140As you say, it's obvious on its face what they're doing.
00:11:00.380Yes. Remember, the attorney-client privilege does not cover illegal acts.
00:11:06.900And so if Hunter Biden and his attorney, Abby Lowell, are conspiring to retaliate against whistleblowers
00:11:15.320to intimidate witnesses or potential witnesses to obstruct justice, that is a crime.
00:11:21.660That is not covered by the attorney-client privilege.
00:11:24.160And so House Republicans should move forward immediately with subpoenas.
00:11:28.420Take off the kid gloves, subpoena Hunter Biden immediately, make him come in for staff depositions,
00:11:35.000make him bring in his documents, put him up for public hearings.
00:11:38.560If he tries to claim the Fifth Amendment, I have said repeatedly that House Republicans should grant him use immunity.
00:11:47.980That's because the House of Representatives has the power to do that.
00:11:51.580And what that means is that he can't claim the Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination because he's not going to face criminal jeopardy for his testimony.
00:12:00.740Make him testify because I'm telling you what, we have a president of the United States who could be compromised by tens of millions of dollars,
00:12:10.200$20 million and counting from China, from Russia, from Ukraine, from Romania, from other of these hellhole countries,
00:12:21.720So the president of the United States could be compromised.
00:12:23.780It looks likely the president of the United States is compromised by these foreign bribes and other corruption.
00:12:30.280And to the bottom of that, figuring out if our president is subject to blackmail, which it looks like he is because of these 17 audio recordings,
00:12:39.260two with then-Vice President Joe Biden, 15 with Hunter, where they were shaking down a $10 million foreign bribe from Burisma.
00:12:47.120And then then-Vice President Joe Biden threatened to cut off a billion dollars in USAID to the Burisma, to the Ukrainian's president,
00:12:56.900Ukrainian aid saying that Ukrainian's president must fire the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Burisma and the Bidens.
00:13:03.560And then Joe Biden went on TV and bragged about how he got this prosecutor fired.
00:13:07.800He left off the part that he took a $10 million bribe allegedly to do it.
00:13:12.000But regardless, the point is, is that getting to the bottom of whether the president of the United States is compromised
00:13:18.520is a hell of a lot more important than sending a crackhead to jail for having a gun, a gun charge that the only charge that we went after Hunter on
00:13:29.260is a gun charge that doesn't lead directly to Joe Biden.
00:13:33.940And it's also the constitutionality of this gun charge is in doubt.
00:13:38.420So even if Hunter is convicted, this charge could be thrown out by the courts.
00:13:43.320It's going to be thrown out by a presidential pardon by Joe Biden.
00:13:47.520It's going to be thrown out by a sweetheart plea deal or a motion to dismiss with prejudice by Weiss after the presidential election.
00:13:54.840It's time for House Republicans to take off the kid gloves and start issuing subpoenas immediately.
00:14:04.200The Oversight Committee issuing a statement.
00:14:07.160And interestingly, it wasn't a statement from the chair, James Comer, but rather the committee following Hunter Biden's announcement of that lawsuit against the IRS saying,
00:14:16.680quote, witness intimidation is just another dirty tactic by the Hunter Biden legal team, end quote.
00:14:24.920We're going to take that up right after this quick pause.
00:14:27.680We stay with us as we talk with Mike Davis.
00:14:30.980He is the head of the Article 3 project.
00:15:32.280I would say it's better late than never, and House Republicans need to understand that we can walk and chew gum at the same time.
00:15:42.780We can – the House of Representatives can do its constitutional duty, most solemn constitutional duty,
00:15:50.080to open an impeachment inquiry and figure out if the President of the United States is compromised by tens of millions of dollars
00:15:58.000in foreign bribes and other corruption and is subject to blackmail.
00:16:02.180That is – I can't think of a more important job for the House Republicans right now than to get to the bottom of that.
00:16:08.660That being compromised, taking foreign bribes and being compromised and having blackmail on you as the President of the United States leads to very dangerous consequences for the United States.
00:16:19.660If you think about this, that $10 million burisma bribe with the Bidens, alleged bribe with the Bidens,
00:16:26.860has led to a 10,000 times return for Ukraine, where we've spent $100 billion in U.S. taxpayer money sending it over to Ukraine
00:16:38.260so these Ukrainian oligarchs can buy their yachts and, you know, putting America in a proxy war with a nuclear superpower that could lead to world annihilation over a, you know,
00:16:51.640over a dispute between Ukraine and Russia over three Russian-speaking providences in eastern Ukraine.
00:17:00.120It's a very dangerous situation we're in. Think about it this way.
00:17:03.620Basically, President Obama put Vice President Biden in charge of Ukraine.
00:17:09.800The Bidens went on the take, and then Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, took Crimea.
00:17:18.460Yeah, it's – and it looks like we're getting just exactly that treatment, and Biden putting in charge for the Ukraine recovery.
00:17:29.280One of the – well, she was the biggest donor for Barack Obama.
00:17:33.120She is a powerhouse in the Marxist-Stimm party, Penny Pritzker.
00:17:39.620What is your reaction to that appointment, and what does it portend?
00:17:43.700Well, I mean, it just shows – the Ukraine problem is a Biden problem because of his weakness.
00:17:48.660Putin smelled Biden's – then Vice President Biden's – corruption and weakness.
00:17:54.780During the Obama administration, it took Crimea.
00:17:57.120We had four years of peace and prosperity in Ukraine under Trump where Putin wouldn't even think about trying to get aggressive with Ukraine.
00:18:05.240China wouldn't even think about being – getting aggressive with Taiwan under Trump.
00:18:09.720And then the second Biden is back, Putin again wants to take Biden's lunch and take the rest of Ukraine.
00:18:18.620It put us into a dangerous, very dangerous situation.
00:18:22.120I would say to these Ukrainian flag wavers, they're – you know, they've gone from their BLM signs to their COVID signs to their global climate change signs.
00:18:34.560I would say – I would ask them this.
00:18:36.280How many of them are willing to sacrifice a loved one, let alone one paycheck, to go save Ukraine?
00:18:44.280And I don't think any of them would be willing to do that.
00:18:46.440They're willing to sacrifice other people's loved ones and other people's paychecks to do that, but they're not willing to sacrifice their own.
00:19:28.120Now China smells Putin – or smells Biden's weakness after the disaster of Afghanistan withdrawal after seeing how incompetent Biden has been in Ukraine.
00:19:38.360And we could have a situation where Russia is on the march in Ukraine and China is on the march in Taiwan.
00:19:45.620And hell, we can't even find a fighter jet, a stealth fighter jet that's been flying around in the air after the pilot ejected.
00:19:54.280How the hell are we going to win a two-front war with Russia and China?
00:19:59.940And how the hell can we win any conflict with this impaired, compromised puppet president in the Oval Office?
00:20:09.300I mean, the Marxist Dems have a lot to answer for and a lot to atone for in the utter act of contempt for this country to put two flawed and absolutely feeble personalities in the two most powerful jobs in the country.
00:20:28.160Kamala Harris is vice president and Biden is president.
00:20:31.960It's sickening to see what they've done, and they should be held accountable for that.
00:20:36.720But the way the Republicans work, probably not.
00:20:40.680To see the Bidens as if they didn't have a care in the world right now, Mike, Biden wishing Republicans good luck in their impeachment efforts against him.
00:20:53.100This is a strange attitude they've taken on.
00:20:56.400I don't know if it's just a bluster putting a good face on it.
00:21:01.000They seem awfully casual in their confidence.
00:21:05.060Well, I mean, I think they know that the Republicans and the Senate Democrats and Senate Republicans are not going to remove President Biden from office.
00:21:16.380The impeachment process is a political process, and that's not just me saying that.
00:21:23.380That's the founding fathers in Federalist No. 65 talking about impeachment being a political process.
00:21:29.580And it is very important for the American people to see this evidence and understand that we have a corrupt, we have a compromised president of the United States.
00:21:40.420And that leads to disastrous consequences for America around the world, as we're seeing in Ukraine with Russia, as we may see in Taiwan with China.
00:21:50.240And the American people need to see this.
00:22:20.240For the non-fraud of a businessman paying back sophisticated Wall Street banks in full with interest.
00:22:25.880This is outright lawfare and election interference against President Trump for the 2024 presidential election.
00:23:04.560They believe in me too presumption of guilt and weaponized justice.
00:23:07.600It's time for Republicans to take off the gloves, put on the brass knuckles, and break the Democrats' glass jaws legally and politically.
00:23:17.240Didn't you get a kick out of Kevin McCarthy this weekend sounding so, so sweet and so soft-spoken and so even-handed talking about the corruption that is the Biden regime?
00:23:31.600I mean, I had a physical reaction to that.
00:23:37.340Stand up and speak as if you have some comprehension of the facts and understand the historical context in which we find ourselves and the necessity of doing precisely what you said.
00:23:50.180This is not a time for weak-kneed, enfeebled, spineless, quote-unquote, leadership.
00:23:56.100This is a time for direction and for result and consequence.
00:24:01.460And I don't get the feeling that he has even a clue as to what I'm talking about.
00:24:07.700I would say this about Speaker Kevin McCarthy.
00:24:10.780I've been a critic of his for years on the big tech fight.
00:24:14.100I defended him on the debt ceiling fight, and I took a lot of grief from you, Lou, and many other conservatives.
00:24:19.520But the real test for Speaker Kevin McCarthy is the appropriations fight and the impeachment fight.
00:24:25.920If he doesn't cut spending in the appropriations fight to pre-COVID levels and include key appropriations writers to put conservative policy waivers in the appropriations process,
00:24:37.600if he doesn't move forward aggressively with this impeachment inquiry to figure out if our president of the United States is compromised,
00:24:44.340I don't think Kevin McCarthy is going to have a job much longer.
00:24:47.320We're talking with Mike Davis, the head of the Article III project.
00:24:51.260Mike just brought up the spending bills.
00:24:55.060The House has agreed, the conservatives, along with the rest of the House,
00:24:58.520with a short-term bill to avoid the government shutdown that would have come on September 30th,
00:25:04.180immediately following September 30th at midnight.
00:25:07.520They have deferred it by one month, pushing it off to October 31st.
00:25:12.060What has been the consequence, what is the likely consequence of what has been a tough-fought argument
00:25:19.640and debate over what to do about runaway spending on the part of the Biden administration?
00:26:03.480And what I laid out there is what I've been saying publicly for months.
00:26:08.860I defended Kevin McCarthy on the debt ceiling fight because I don't think Americans were willing to let their 401ks crash to try to cut spending in an impossible debt ceiling fight.
00:26:21.720But what I said in this piece was is that the real fight is the appropriations fight that's coming up here at the end of this month.
00:26:29.780They have to fund government every year.
00:26:31.200They have to fund government every year with the appropriations for discretionary spending.
00:26:41.920And as you know, Lou, this is how our federal deficit each year and our overall debt has ballooned to unsustainable levels,
00:26:50.700where we're going to destroy our country, where interest rates are astronomical, where people can't afford to buy homes anymore, people can't afford to buy cars anymore.
00:27:00.960The interest rates on student loans are unsustainable, where we have inflation at near historic highs, where people can't afford groceries, they can't afford gasoline.
00:27:13.340This spending spree, this drunken spending spree by D.C. politicians, the Uniparty on both sides of the aisle is having very disastrous consequences for everyday Americans,
00:27:26.680for real Americans and real America who actually have to live within their own budgets, who actually have to live from paycheck to paycheck.
00:27:34.920And so what I said in this piece is people are willing to put people are not willing to tank their 401ks over a debt ceiling fight.
00:27:43.920But people are certainly willing to put the federal government on a crash diet, including even shutting down the federal government if we do not get federal spending under control.
00:27:54.580And that's where House Republicans need to be.
00:28:17.220It's destroying our national security.
00:28:19.660And so, therefore, we are going to cut federal spending back to pre-COVID levels where it's still too high, but at least back to pre-COVID levels.
00:28:29.220And we are going to include these key appropriations writers in these House appropriations bills saying we're not going to spend federal funding on transgender surgeries for kids and prisoners.
00:28:41.060We're not going to spend federal funding on this lawfare and election interference against President Trump before the presidential election.
00:28:48.700We're not going to spend this federal funding on BLM and Antifa and these crazy left-wing policies.
00:28:57.360Here is the budget we're going to give you.
00:28:59.540Here is the diet we're going to give you, federal governments, with these ingredients to get you back on track.
00:29:05.640And if Senate Democrats and President Biden don't like that diet, if they don't want to take 95% of what they want, if they want 105% of what they want, then too bad.
00:29:19.200Shut down the government for several weeks.
00:29:21.500It's going to have almost no impact on real Americans in the real world.
00:29:24.920It would actually be a better thing if the federal government shuts down because it's such a destructive force right now.
00:29:30.480Shut down the damn governments, and then when Senate Democrats and President Biden are ready to come back to the table and take their reduced spending back to pre-COVID levels with the Republican policy writers, then we can reopen the government.
00:29:47.040Until then, keep the damn government shut down.
00:29:49.180Well, as you know, and as you mentioned, I was absolutely opposed to the idea of the Republicans going after the debt ceiling and trying to exact their, you know, some discipline from the Democrats, which they've never succeeded at.
00:30:06.400But I happen to agree with you at this point, it is worth it is worth the the energy, the political risks that are also certainly related to the shutdown of the government, because if we do not right now, are we are on our way to having 50% more national debt than we have GDP every year.
00:30:29.740This is an unsustainable level of debt.
00:30:34.480It is part of the reason that we have rates going market rates going higher.
00:30:38.800The Federal Reserve is acting, in my opinion, to this point with constraint, which is unusual for this Jerome Powell led Fed.
00:30:46.380I don't know what would happen if indeed he had to confront a fiscal policy conflict like you're describing.
00:30:55.540But the truth is, we've got to stop it here and we've got to stop it now because you left something out of when you talked about the appropriations process.
00:31:04.480The Republicans also have the ability to shut down the Department of Justice.
00:31:10.000They have the ability to shut down the Department, the FBI and your mentor and the men for whom you work for many years, Senator Chuck Grassley coming out,
00:31:20.760saying it's saying it's silly to defund the FBI because we need the FBI.
00:31:26.280In my opinion, Senator Grassley couldn't be more wrong because what we're funding is pure evil and it's got to be stopped.
00:31:43.760Well, no, I mean, I'll tell you that Senator Chuck Grassley has been the fiercest critic of the FBI for decades,
00:31:50.640going back to Ruby Ridge when Iowans got killed at Ruby Ridge.
00:31:54.560And so what I think he wants to do is do this in a way where we can rip apart the political components of the FBI,
00:32:01.740the FBI leadership and the Washington field office and these counter espionage and counterintelligence components of the FBI that are rogue and are terrible
00:32:10.700and deal with the isolate those and deal with those separately from the other parts of the FBI,
00:32:17.800the rank and file FBI agents around the country who are actually good Americans doing their jobs.
00:32:23.640Right. And so, well, no, no, no, not right.
00:32:26.180I mean, the last several times that they've gone out to arrest a person,
00:32:30.340they've killed that person and they've killed them at six o'clock in the morning.
00:32:34.440And a search warrant has become, in effect, a death warrant in the hands of the tactical squads of the FBI.
