The Great America Show - REP TROY NEHLS SAYS DONALD TRUMP WILL MAKE HISTORY BECAUSE HE WILL DO WHAT GROVER CLEVELAND DID IN 1892

00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs, and welcome to The Great America Show. Great to have you with us.

00:00:05.540 The nasty Marxist Dems who've been ruling the country with dominion over all our government,

00:00:11.200 both the Senate and the House and the White House, and of course, the federal bureaucracy,

00:00:15.720 the deep state, all under their power. One-party rule in the Biden regime. That is about to change

00:00:22.680 on January 3rd. Forty-two days from now, thank God the GOP managed to win the House. At least

00:00:29.380 we're hanging on to our republic for a little while longer, depending on what we can get done

00:00:34.700 in 2024. And President Trump has brightened our spirits and the horizon by announcing he'll run

00:00:41.740 for president. As we've been discussing here on The Great America Show, the GOP means to investigate

00:00:47.280 the Biden crime family. By the way, did you see CBS News finally, two years late, mind you,

00:00:54.160 reported that the Hunter Biden laptop is for real. Who knew? Well, just about everybody but CBS News.

00:01:02.800 What is wrong with CBS News? Even the New York Times and the Washington Post acknowledged that

00:01:08.700 eight months ago. Incredible what the Marxist-left corporate media is doing in this country, isn't it?

00:01:15.120 CBS News is a two-time loser here over the past few days, announcing that the Twitter platform is just

00:01:21.760 too unstable for their precious daffodil natures under the ownership of just the smartest man in the

00:01:27.820 world, Elon Musk. Then they were back tweeting within two days without explanation. But apparently

00:01:34.620 they figured out that Twitter has a far bigger audience than little old CBS. I'm telling you,

00:01:40.740 the Marxist-left media in this country isn't above making fools of themselves frequently. Speaking of 0.95

00:01:47.260 which, the Disney company pushed out its new CEO, Bob Chapek, after the stock dropped 60 percent this

00:01:53.680 year, after Chapek got into a controversial, embarrassing, and ultimately losing PR battle

00:01:59.420 with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. And Disney announced that the old CEO, Robert Iger, is once again

00:02:06.340 the new CEO. The old boss is the new boss at Disney. Here's the kicker. If I remember correctly,

00:02:13.320 Bob Iger is even more of a lefty than Bob Chapek. So as we say, stay tuned. I hope the Disney board

00:02:21.000 cleared Iger's return with Governor DeSantis. Disney doesn't need any more setbacks. Speaking of

00:02:27.660 setbacks, within two days of naming Department of Justice veteran Jack Smith as special counsel to

00:02:33.880 investigate President Trump, you heard me right, we haven't stepped into a time machine yanking us back

00:02:39.800 in time by five years to the first Trump special counsel. Anyway, corrupt AG Merrick Garland

00:02:45.760 singing Jack Smith praises as a tough, independent prosecutor, fair and pure as the driven snow,

00:02:53.440 impartial and just. Except today, we learn that Jack Smith is nothing more than a hack, a Marxist-left

00:03:00.620 activist, so rabid a partisan prosecutor back in the day that the Supreme Court rebuked Jack Smith

00:03:06.920 for the DOJ's prosecution of a Republican lawmaker. And Smith was criticized for his connections to

00:03:14.000 the IRS scandal that targeted conservative groups and had his prosecution of Virginia Republican

00:03:20.840 Governor McDonnell reversed by the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court doesn't seem to like the way

00:03:26.740 this left-wing activist prosecutor, Jack Smith, does his business. I think we know why Smith wasn't at

00:03:34.000 the Attorney General News Conference to be introduced to the public, though. Mr. Smith just may not like

00:03:39.580 to be questioned by the media, or at least parts of the media, you know, the part that still is

00:03:44.500 interested in the truth. Let's take all of this up with our guest today, Congressman Troy Nels,

00:03:50.280 representing the 22nd District of the great state of Texas. Congressman, great to have you with us here

00:03:55.880 on the show again. Congratulations on your re-election. Thank you, Lou. It's great to be with

00:04:00.880 you. Gobble, gobble to you. Thanksgiving coming up. It's gobble, gobble, buddy. You got it. You got it.

00:04:07.720 Congressman, President Trump, since the last time you and I talked, is back in the arena.

00:04:14.200 Kevin McCarthy has got some headwinds to his aspirations to be Speaker of the House, even though

00:04:20.020 he's at the nomination right now. And we're looking at another, incredibly, another special

00:04:28.480 counsel investigation of the president. I mean, it's like a time machine. We get thrown back in

00:04:35.340 time with these Marxist leftists in this country, don't we? Yeah. What I think you're seeing is that

00:04:45.260 the left is so afraid of Donald Trump. Listen, I went to Marlago last week. I was there because I

00:04:52.420 wanted to hear it. I wanted to see it in person and see Donald Trump make history because he is

00:04:59.580 going to do what Grover Cleveland did in 1892. But what it says is, is when you are going to have

00:05:06.820 Garland appoint another special prosecutor and this and that, it's because they are deathly afraid of

00:05:13.400 Donald Trump. They know that Donald Trump is the leader of the Republican Party and he will beat

00:05:19.540 their candidates. I don't care who they put up, whether they put up Joe Biden, whether it's

00:05:24.260 Mayor Pete or the nut job in California. Donald Trump will beat them all and they got to find a

00:05:31.380 way. They haven't been successful. They got to find a way to get him off the ballot. They would take

00:05:37.320 DeSantis or anybody else. They don't want Donald Trump on the ballot and they got to find a way to

00:05:42.180 keep him off the ballot. And here we go again. I mean, if it's not two impeachments, it's now it's

00:05:47.600 going to be a second special counsel investigation. Three years of FBI investigation. I mean, he is in

00:05:53.940 his seventh year of the Marxist Dems political persecution of this of this man. I mean, it's

00:06:01.920 astounding. And I still haven't heard Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy stand up and say this stops now.

00:06:07.220 I still haven't heard the Supreme Court say you haven't found one doggone dime of wrongdoing on the part

00:06:13.540 of this man. Don't pull any more studs. And here they are with another stud.

00:06:19.180 Yeah. And what's interesting, and I think you and I have talked about this before,

00:06:24.180 is that, you know, Lou, if if the Democrats said the last election was the most fair and free election

00:06:31.360 and they really beat, they really beat Donald Trump by 7 million popular votes, they won the

00:06:37.900 electoral college by like 70. Why wouldn't you want that same guy back four years later? I mean,

00:06:46.100 we would call that a Texas butt kicking. I mean, 7 million votes, 7 million popular votes, 70 electoral.

00:06:54.320 Why wouldn't you want the same guy back in four years? They don't want him to come back because they

00:06:59.480 know that 2020 election that was regged. Well, and you know this, Congressman, the Marxist left in

00:07:07.620 this country that the folks running the Democratic Party, they're acting like this. They don't like

00:07:12.980 him because he's got bad table manners and he's a mean tweeter. The fact of the matter is they don't

00:07:17.800 like him because he's messing up their their lineup at the public trough for corruption for all of the

00:07:24.920 the deal making that goes on in D.C. And he's just interrupted their whole game plan. And that's

00:07:31.520 just the straightforward fact of it. That's right. And it's sad to see the establishment hacks getting

00:07:37.060 out there attacking Donald Trump right away. Paul Ryan, shame on you. And some of those others that

00:07:43.640 don't want to see him come back. They say he's bad for the Republican Party. We got to move on. We got to

00:07:50.160 move forward and leave Donald Trump behind. I beg to differ. I beg to differ. The year 2024 is the

00:07:57.700 year of Donald J. Trump. And he's going to come back. And guys like you and I, we've saddled our

00:08:04.240 horses, Lou. I saddled my baby. And I saddled Donald Trump. We're going to go to the winner's circle

00:08:09.440 together. Well, there you go. And you know that he will win because they're running out of options.

00:08:15.800 I mean, what we're watching now in this great state of Arizona and Maricopa County, where half

00:08:21.760 the voters are, it looks like Carrie Lake had a very good complaint when she said that that thing 0.99

00:08:29.520 was a mess. It looks the attorney general now is looking into it. Several counties are not certifying

00:08:35.920 their vote in the state of Arizona. I mean, this stuff has got to stop.

00:08:40.060 That's right. It's sad that in the 2020 election, Lou, between big tech and everyone else in the

00:08:49.120 dishonest media, they had 70% of Americans in 2020 convinced we would not know who our president would

00:08:56.700 be on election night. And that's what they're continuing to do. They're continuing to go out

00:09:01.420 there and say, hey, listen, we will not know who the new governor of Arizona is or the senator of

00:09:07.340 Pennsylvania, only unless they're winning. Remember Fetterman? They were saying in Pennsylvania,

00:09:13.300 we will not know. We won't be able to call that Senate race for several days. All of a sudden,

00:09:18.000 Fetterman's in the lead. Oh, we've decided it. It's called by 10 p.m. So the American people realize,

00:09:25.360 many of us realize, we've got problems with the integrity of our elections. We had it in 2020.

00:09:31.300 Here we have it in 2022. When are Americans going to stand up and finally say,

00:09:35.740 we got to find some positive change in the way we conduct our nation's elections?

00:09:42.000 Well, yeah, you're absolutely right. But I happen to believe that as I look around this country,

00:09:49.000 whether it's from Florida to Alaska, Hawaii to Maine, we're looking at a country that's putting

00:09:56.520 up with all of this. We're tolerating this nonsense. There should be one election day.

00:10:01.660 The accounting should be on paper ballots and the voting should be on paper ballots and we

00:10:08.220 shouldn't have any more nonsense. This is not complicated. This is basic addition. That's the

00:10:15.100 extent of the issue here. But the Democrats appear to have added subtraction to addition,

00:10:22.180 if you know what I mean.

00:10:23.600 That's right. And I agree. And Donald Trump brought that up in his speech the other night

00:10:28.900 in Mar-a-Lago when he announced he was a candidate for 2024. He brought it up. Listen,

00:10:34.180 we did it in Afghanistan, Lou. Everybody went up there and they and they put some ink on their 1.00

00:10:39.160 fingers so they couldn't vote twice. But I think if you if you just made it a national holiday,

00:10:45.460 Lou, why would you just make it a national holiday? You shut the whole country down and allow people 0.99

00:10:50.480 that have a valid ID now, a valid ID to go exercise their right to vote. I would support that idea.

00:10:57.160 And it is on paper ballot. And you count the ballots that day, count the ballots that day.

00:11:02.560 And we should know that evening who our president is.

00:11:04.780 Yeah. And I and I think that just to simplify this, I think that Congress Mills and I can put this

00:11:11.340 together for everybody. And on on one hand, vote on paper ballots, count them at the precinct level,

00:11:18.560 not at voting centers, have everybody turn those votes in, make certain that there's a voting day.

00:11:26.660 Voter ID. I'm there it is. Shudder, shutter, says the left at the very idea. You'd have to have

00:11:32.980 voter ID who doesn't have to have ID in this country today anyway. And the and the fact is,

00:11:38.760 you've just solved the problem. But this business of, you know, I was tweeting with Mark Elias the

00:11:44.300 other day, you know, who's put together all of this, this legal assault on on voting in this

00:11:51.620 country and has gotten away with it. He's won all the cases. He's smarter than anybody the Republicans

00:11:56.020 have got. And by the way, it's it's just not a fair fight. Elias has been kicking the tails of

00:12:02.860 these guys who think they're so smart and clever in the Republican Party. They haven't got a smart

00:12:08.480 lawyer on the place, whether it's the RNC or anywhere else in the Republican Party. What do you

00:12:13.640 think? I agree. And when you look at, you know, Pennsylvania obviously was a big election with the

00:12:19.080 Senate race with Oz and Fetterman. And when you look at that Supreme Court saying we should be able to

00:12:23.920 count ballots up to 30 days after after the general election day. And they want to do it in other

00:12:29.860 states as well. They should be counting ballots a week later. No, because that's where the fraud occurs

00:12:35.440 when these ballots keep coming in. And I I highlighted a lot of this stuff in my book, The Big Fraud,

00:12:41.660 because I talk about the wait a minute. Wait a minute. What's the name of that book again?

00:12:46.020 It's called The Big Fraud. What the Democrats don't want you to know about January 6th,

00:12:50.720 the 2020 election and a whole lot else. But we expose election fraud dating back to 1824 with

00:12:56.220 Andrew Jackson. So it's a it was number one bestseller on elections at Amazon. It's a hot

00:13:01.460 item. Go out there and get it for your friends. We recommend it to you highly is just for the

00:13:06.660 record, too. Congressman, let's turn to Kevin McCarthy. He has one publication happened to say

00:13:15.420 a math problem in order to become speaker. Are you for him or against him?

00:13:20.720 I've made it very, very clear on my social media that I'm voting for Kevin McCarthy for speaker.

00:13:26.120 Now, I've had some people get on me and say, what are you doing? What are you doing? Kevin

00:13:29.520 McCarthy can't be trusted, can't be trusted. I said, I don't know the alternative.

00:13:34.680 John, he's breaking up badly here.

00:13:37.720 I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Are you there? Are you there, buddy?

00:13:41.220 Yeah, I have a lot of clear. You want to take that back from the top, though, Congressman?

00:13:45.260 Congressman. Yes, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It's raining here in Houston, so maybe it's a little

00:13:50.400 bit of the weather. Sorry, Congressman. I'm sorry. I'll take it from the top. How's that?

00:13:57.680 Beautiful. All right. No, I've made it very, very clear on my social media that I'm supporting Kevin

00:14:04.360 McCarthy for speaker, and I've told him that. Everybody knows it. Right now, there are a few

00:14:10.480 that are against Kevin for being speaker, but I don't know the alternative. We had our elections

00:14:15.720 the other day voting in a conference. The Republican members of the conference voted who the majority

00:14:21.220 leader would be, and it is Steve Scalise, and that's the job he wants. Jim Jordan has expressed

00:14:27.260 that he is supporting Kevin McCarthy for speaker, so I'm not really sure. Tom Emmer, he's going

00:14:33.260 to be the majority whip, so I don't know. I have not heard by those that are dead set against

00:14:40.320 Kevin McCarthy. Matt Getz is a, I haven't heard a replacement. I don't know who that person

00:14:45.720 is, and I don't think that that person could ever get to 218. I think Kevin is the closest

00:14:51.500 to get to 218. Well, I have to tell you, as you know, I'm knowing about exactly what you

00:14:58.860 call enthusiastic about Kevin McCarthy. He went after the president. He melted like a

00:15:03.720 daffodil in those early days. I find that inexcusable. I don't care what the pressure

00:15:08.740 is, what the situation is. If he melts, he melts, and I really just don't have much use

00:15:14.720 for this establishment nonsense. He's a Paul Ryan handpicked successor. I just, I really,

00:15:21.700 I have to say, Congressman, you and I don't disagree on much, but this one, I just, I feel

00:15:28.000 stronger that this man is just too weak to be the Speaker of the House. You guys have, in your first

00:15:37.380 term, you didn't have much choice. You know, everybody's following the leader, but when you

00:15:43.840 have to make special allowances for the guy, and you have to kind of push him to the front

00:15:48.000 to say, okay, you know, there's the Hill, and we'll follow you. Just say, follow me. I mean,

00:15:53.080 that's how it looks here, because the conference is so much more conservative than is the leadership,

00:15:59.880 and I don't care if we're talking about Scalise, if we're talking about McCarthy. I mean, what the

00:16:05.340 heck is the deal here? You know, when I was voting, and when I was thinking about Jim Banks,

00:16:10.160 Jim Banks was one of three individuals running for the whip position. It was Jim Banks, Tom Emmer,

00:16:17.280 and Drew Ferguson, and I was supporting Jim Banks because I felt if Jim Banks would get to be the

00:16:23.760 whip, he and Steve Scalise, who I think is more conservative even than Kevin McCarthy, that they

00:16:30.400 would hold Kevin McCarthy accountable. I felt having two true, I mean, proven conservatives would help

00:16:37.240 Kevin move Kevin to the right, and then in the second balloting, obviously, Tom Emmer squeaked out

00:16:44.400 a win against Jim Banks. Is that a concern of mine? Yes, it is, but I believe Kevin realizes,

00:16:51.300 I believe Kevin McCarthy realizes that the American people gave us the gavel, they gave him the gavel,

00:16:57.380 and that he will need the Freedom Caucus to get any legislation passed. If there's, if he's only got

00:17:05.940 a majority by four seats, and there's 40 of us in the Freedom Caucus, how does he expect anything to

00:17:12.400 pass without the Freedom Caucus's approval? So he's going to have to move to the right, or nothing will

00:17:18.860 happen. Or, or move to the left, which we've seen plenty of, whether it's a continuing resolution,

00:17:28.140 part of the Senate, I mean, we've seen McConnell play that game for the past two years. It's a very

00:17:36.080 delicate thing. I take your point, and I understand it, and I respect your position. I have to say, I am, you know,

00:17:43.760 it's easier for me to say that I don't think much of McCarthy as a leader. I'm perfectly willing to

00:17:49.660 give him a chance, but I have to tell you, I don't do that willingly. That's because you guys are going

00:17:55.580 to accept that. I mean, right now, the math says that winning an 188 to 31 vote, as he did for a

00:18:03.540 nomination, he's in big trouble to get enough votes to be Speaker, though. That looks like the math

00:18:10.300 right now. Well, but that 31, I think, is a little misleading because Andy Beggs was, was challenging

00:18:16.840 McCarthy for the Speaker spot, but it won't be 31 on January 3rd. It will not be 31 on January 3rd.

00:18:24.420 So I, I just, I don't believe that will be the number. Now, there are members that have made it

00:18:29.580 very, very clear that they're not voting for Kevin McCarthy one way or the other. I got it. But all I'm

00:18:36.360 saying is, okay, if it's not Kevin McCarthy, then who, if we're going to identify and say,

00:18:42.720 he's not the guy, leader McCarthy's not the guy, he cannot be the Speaker, then who is it? You got

00:18:48.400 to have a solution to part to the problem here too, Lou. You want my solution? What? Jim Jordan.

00:18:55.320 Jim Jordan supporting McCarthy. I know. And I'm supporting Jim Jordan. So that trumps his

00:19:01.740 support of McCarthy. Oh, I love you, Lou. You're a great American. It will be interesting.

00:19:08.320 It will be interesting. But right now, I just think that, that, you know, you've got about 221,

00:19:14.400 222 of us. There's a handful, maybe a few more right now that are saying right now,

00:19:19.260 no to McCarthy, but we'll have to wait and see on January 3rd. That will come right down to January

00:19:24.260 3rd. You got to get on the House floor. It's the first vote. Who's going to be the Speaker and

00:19:29.240 who are you going to name? So we'll have to just wait and see. There's about, what, 50

00:19:33.080 something days from now and then. Let's just wait and see what happens.

00:19:36.820 Yeah. You guys are going to get sworn in on the 3rd. It's coming at us like a rocket,

00:19:42.100 a little over 40 days. Let's go to this business about McCarthy saying he wasn't going to even

00:19:50.400 consider impeaching Joe Biden. Joe Biden may not give him much choice. We're looking at,

00:19:56.000 I mentioned Jim Jordan, also James Comer, the head of Oversight, or will be on the 3rd.

00:20:02.980 I mean, these two have got, they say, evidence that they believe 95% certainty that implicates

00:20:09.760 the president of the United States. I mean, this isn't, this is, this looks like it's going to be a

00:20:15.040 very serious, serious deal. And by the way, the worst thing that the Republicans could do

00:20:19.400 is pull another Benghazi. And by that, I mean, Trey Gowdy sitting there like some sort of,

00:20:25.860 you know, medieval justice in robes. And meanwhile, playing patty cake and throwing nothing but soft

00:20:36.160 balls at Hillary Clinton. If we see more of that, I think the country will in unison puke. 1.00

00:20:42.380 Yes. I think, you know, Mr. Comer, who's going to be the chairman of government and oversight reform

00:20:49.980 had a great press conference the other day. And he said, they're going after Joe Biden.

00:20:55.500 They're going after Joe Biden. We all know he's the big guy. And, and we know that that Biden family

00:21:01.600 is corrupt. You got to look at China. You look at all of it. So I think he's going to do a good job. 1.00

00:21:06.620 I think they're going to do everything they can to look at Hunter as well. Look at that laptop.

00:21:12.220 Jim Jordan was standing there as well. Jim Jordan's going to be the chairman over judiciary. And he made

00:21:18.000 it very clear that we need to look at the DOJ and the FBI and how this administration has weaponized

00:21:23.860 those agencies to go after people with dissenting points of view, even going after parents, you know,

00:21:30.840 at school board meetings who didn't like the mask mandates. So I think there's going to be a lot

00:21:35.000 of investigations. I support that. Lou, I support the idea of investigations because the American

00:21:40.360 people deserve answers. They deserve answers and they demand answers. Quite honestly, they're saying

00:21:46.360 on investigation, they've been investigating Donald Trump for seven years. We need to start

00:21:51.300 investigating them. Well, Will McCarthy, do you think due to those chairmen, what Paul Ryan did

00:21:58.540 to Nunes? And at the same time, I mean, he refused to let them have subpoenas, shut down the

00:22:06.460 investigation, played it quiet from his the speaker's office. That's what worries me about

00:22:13.060 McCarthy, because I agree with you 100 percent. American people deserve answers. They've deserved

00:22:17.040 them for some time. We've got a president who's been under political persecution from the Marxist

00:22:21.820 Dems for the past. We're now in the seventh year. No wrongdoing. And by the way, we find out most of

00:22:28.500 the people in the all of the criminals so far from the FBI, from the Department of Justice,

00:22:34.000 from the the folks sitting on that committee, whether it be the House Intel Committee or whether

00:22:40.740 it be the J6 Committee. Yeah, I believe Kevin McCarthy made it very clear the other day

00:22:46.620 that that once we have subpoena authority and we will be subpoena and we will use that authority

00:22:52.800 to subpoena people in front of these committees. So, no, I believe he made that very clear the other

00:22:57.840 day. We'll just have to kind of wait and see. But I think he realizes is that is that a large majority

00:23:03.740 of Congress and the and the Republican Party throughout this country would are demanding answers.

00:23:09.480 And in order to get these individuals in front of our committee, we need to subpoena them.

00:23:13.480 We need to have Hunter. We need to have him, Garland, Christopher Wray. We need to have Fauci.

00:23:19.440 We need to have Mayorkas. They all they all need to be in front of these committees to answer 1.00

00:23:24.740 questions because they haven't been in front of these committees, Lou. This this this, you know,

00:23:30.320 whether it's the sham committee of January 6th or whether you look at some of these committees

00:23:34.380 with oversight, there's no accountability to this administration. They get to do whatever the hell

00:23:39.380 they want. But now that we have the majority, we must investigate. We can still pass good positive

00:23:46.000 leg, you know, legislation. We can do that. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't spend an enormous

00:23:50.960 amount of time conducting investigations and having hearings into this corrupt administration.

00:23:57.120 Well, as you know, we're we're all pulling for you and for the for the new Congress and Congressman James

00:24:03.960 Comer has just said this. Jim Jordan wants to interview all 51 Intel officials, former former

00:24:13.080 intelligence officials who signed that bogus Hunter Biden laptop letter that Joe Biden used as a shield

00:24:20.620 in the second debate, the final debate in 2020, and gave him a basis to lie through his teeth to the

00:24:28.380 American people. And by the way, we know William Barr, the attorney general, knew that they were lying,

00:24:32.780 but chose not to intervene, as he put it, in the election. What, you know, what?

00:24:37.980 I think that's fantastic. And I think we should interview them all. I think Jim Jordan is right on target.

00:24:43.360 He's one smart guy. Jim Jordan's been around a long time. He's probably the most well-respected member

00:24:49.320 in the Republican conference. He's well, well-liked even. I mean, he's on every television show and the American

00:24:55.780 people just love him. So I think having Jim Jordan at the helm of judiciary, I think we'll get to the bottom of it.

00:25:02.780 Listen, he's a hard worker. I don't care if we want or 151. Let's get everybody we can. Let's get down to

00:25:11.020 some serious questions and find out exactly why this administration has abused the American people

00:25:18.540 and Donald Trump, certainly Donald Trump, with the DOJ and the FBI. And they've gone after families.

00:25:24.500 They've gone after parents at school board meetings. What, domestic terrorists? Really, Lou?

00:25:29.300 Are you kidding me? And then we've got to look at the Ukraine. We've got to look at the funding of

00:25:34.680 Ukraine. We've got to look at Hunter Biden in China. We've got to look at Fauci and the Wuhan lab.

00:25:40.960 There's so much that needs to be done. So much that needs to be done.

00:25:43.980 So much. And by the way, some of it has to be done because within the matter of days of announcing

00:25:49.460 a second special counsel, we find out that the man who's going to be that special counsel,

00:25:54.780 if you can imagine this, Jack Smith. It turns out he's nothing but an activist, left-wing

00:26:00.100 activist hack. He's a rabid partisan prosecutor. And he was among those involved in the Lois Lerner

00:26:07.380 IRS scandal in which they targeted conservative groups. The Supreme Court rebuked him. They reversed

00:26:17.620 his prosecution. If you remember, I don't know if you remember this, but Virginia Governor Bob

00:26:24.000 McDonnell, a Republican, they went after him and the Supreme Court had to reverse his prosecution.

00:26:33.160 Jack Smith is an activist. He's a hack. And here we have Merrick Garland talking like he is,

00:26:40.200 you know, Saint Jack instead of, well, whatever else I could call it.

00:26:47.000 Yeah. Well, I don't like him very much either. I think what he's been doing too

00:26:51.160 with Christopher Wray with the FBI and the DOJ. I'm like, how do they get away with this stuff?

00:26:57.180 You know, when he had his little press conference announcing this new special counsel,

00:27:00.800 he's, he was reading from the teleprompter. You can see his eyeballs didn't move off the teleprompter,

00:27:05.380 but I don't like that guy because I think he's dangerous. And look at the damage that he has done

00:27:10.500 going after Donald Trump. You don't hear a whole lot about Mar-a-Lago. I guess they're going to start

00:27:15.020 talking more now about Mar-a-Lago. Now that Donald Trump, I find the timing of it interesting too.

00:27:20.940 This big special counsel talking about this, not even what, three, four days after Donald Trump

00:27:26.320 announced his intentions to run in 2024. So again, this is all, they despise Donald Trump.

00:27:33.180 They hate Donald Trump, but they fear Donald Trump. They fear him, Lou. They don't want Donald

00:27:39.540 Trump to be the nominee because they won't beat him. They will not beat him in the November election

00:27:45.360 in 2024. And Donald Trump's going to be the 47th president. From your lips to God's ears. I hope

00:27:52.760 you're right because we sure need to get him back. I think the country feels better just having him

00:27:57.460 announce that he's going to run. Don't you? I loved it. And you got these leftists, the dishonest

00:28:03.040 media and some in the establishment. Yeah, Bush. Yeah, Bush. There was no energy. No, I'm thinking to

00:28:08.760 myself. It doesn't matter what Donald Trump does. He was so cool, calm, collective. He was so

00:28:15.560 presidential up there and they said he had no energy. Folks, I was there. There were 500 people

00:28:21.140 in the room. It was electric. They just want Donald Trump to go off script. They don't want him

00:28:26.540 to talk about what he really, really wants to do and how he can fix their country. They want him to go

00:28:33.260 back and maybe call some names and start talking that. And he's not going to do that this time.

00:28:38.480 I think if he stays on point and he delivers a speech for the next two years, like he delivered

00:28:43.740 the other night in Mar-a-Lago, he's going to win this thing.

00:28:47.120 You know what I'd like to see him do is just kind of just grin at everybody and deny them

00:28:53.620 the ratings boost that they're all looking for. Just grin at them. Just be cordial and ignore

00:29:01.960 the hell out of them. It would drive them absolutely nuts. 0.68

00:29:06.460 That's right. That's right. I can't wait, Lou. It's a big, 2023 is going to be great. 2024 is even

00:29:12.580 going to be better. I'm focused obviously on my committees, conduct the investigations. Let's try

00:29:18.500 to pass conservative, conservative legislation that the American people can feel proud of. And let's get

00:29:25.460 Donald Trump back in the White House. Sounds good to me. As always, you've got a great plan.

00:29:29.160 And what's the title of that book? One more time. The Big Fraud. What the Democrats don't want you

00:29:34.880 to know about January 6th, the 2020 election and a whole lot else. It's available on Amazon, Lou.

00:29:42.120 And you know what? I know that because we've been hawking that book and boosting that book because

00:29:48.500 we think it's a terrific read and we recommend it to everybody highly. The Big Fraud. And we thank you

00:29:54.760 very much for being with us. Congressman Troy Nels of the 22nd District of Great State of Texas.

00:30:01.220 Good to talk with you. Thank you, Lou. God bless. Congressman Troy Nels. He's a great American,

00:30:06.980 isn't he? Thanks, everybody, for being with us today. And tomorrow, we wish you a very happy

00:30:12.840 Thanksgiving. And we have a lot to be thankful for in this country. Despite all of the contests,

00:30:18.620 the tests, the threats, the challenges we face, this country will always prevail. And we will always

00:30:25.380 have a great deal to be thankful for. You're all great Americans in my book, and I'm grateful for

00:30:31.820 that. Thanks again. Happy Thanksgiving. We'll see you here Friday. All the best. God bless you. And may God

00:30:39.080 bless America.
