00:01:14.940 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs. Welcome to The Great America Show. Thanks for being with us.
00:01:23.300 The Biden White House has been caught once again spying on U.S. citizens. An investigation
00:01:29.380 carried out by leading technology publication Wired, their investigation uncovered a secret
00:01:35.700 massive surveillance initiative managed by the White House that grants law enforcement agencies
00:01:41.920 unprecedented access to billions of Americans' phone records. The program reportedly permits
00:01:49.260 federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to access an extensive array of U.S. phone records.
00:01:57.100 The program is titled Data Analytical Services. The program is a partnership with telecom giant
00:02:03.800 AT&T. This deal doesn't involve just direct phone contacts of criminal suspects, but extends to their
00:02:11.940 social networks as well, snooping on individuals who aren't suspected or accused of any criminal activity
00:02:20.200 at all and their entire social networks. Congress has the chance to roll back the FBI's unconstitutional
00:02:28.340 spying on Americans when the Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act expires in just
00:02:35.720 over a month, on December 31st, originally created to allow the U.S. government to conduct surveillance
00:02:43.400 on foreign persons located outside the United States, with the compelled assistance, as they put it,
00:02:50.200 of electronic communications service providers to acquire foreign intelligence information.
00:02:55.940 Then we discovered the program wasn't just being used to surveil foreigners, but also to spy on
00:03:03.400 Americans as well. The FBI says it's all just a big misunderstanding, people's names being put into
00:03:11.240 searches by accident. But then we learned in 2021, the FBI carried out an incredible 3.4 million searches
00:03:21.100 of 702 data. That number fell to just over 200,000 in 2022, if you can believe anything that the FBI
00:03:30.240 says. And the likely reason that number fell dramatically is the American people found out
00:03:36.340 just how many searches the FBI was doing. Well, please let your congressman know how you feel about
00:03:43.120 being spied upon about reauthorizing the Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
00:03:49.760 Call the Capitol switchboard. You might want to write down this number. We also have it on the
00:03:55.880 luddimes.com website. Here is the number now. 202-224-3121. That's 202-224-3121. And call your
00:04:10.520 representative. Any member of Congress who votes to reauthorize the Section 702 is voting to crush our
00:04:18.360 constitutional rights. Over the holiday weekend, Israel and Hamas continued their ceasefire, allowing
00:04:25.120 hostage swaps. So far, for a four-day ceasefire, Hamas has released fewer than 60 hostages, including the
00:04:32.840 release of a four-year-old American girl. There are reportedly nine Americans who were taken hostage by
00:04:39.760 Hamas terrorists, and the Biden administration doesn't seem in a hurry to get them released.
00:04:44.440 Here is Biden Department of Defense spokesman John Kirby this week on getting those Americans out.
00:04:51.200 As for the other Americans that we believe are in captivity, being held hostage, we don't have a
00:04:57.520 whole lot of information about them, where they are, what condition they might be in, or what exactly
00:05:02.920 the schedule would be for their release. That said, as you heard the president say over the weekend,
00:05:07.420 we're going to keep working at this hour by hour. And we certainly have every hope that when these four
00:05:12.920 days are over with, and the original agreement is done, that Hamas will be able to come up with more
00:05:18.920 hostages in coming days to allow that pause to continue and allow more people to get out.
00:05:23.780 Biden himself held a press conference over the weekend, and when asked about the release of
00:05:27.960 Americans, he didn't seem to know that there were American hostages still in Gaza. But the puppet
00:05:34.320 president did offer his insights on why this war started. Biden says the reason Hamas struck when they
00:05:41.360 did on October 7th, because he wanted to build a railroad through the Middle East. Yes, you heard
00:05:48.600 me right. He says it was because he wanted to build a railroad through the Middle East. Now, don't worry,
00:05:54.800 the president is in good hands, we're told, and I'm sure getting the best of care. Here he is.
00:06:00.200 But I believe one of the reasons why Hamas struck when they did was they knew that I was working very
00:06:05.820 closely with the Saudis and others in the region to bring peace to the region by having recognition
00:06:12.880 of Israel and Israel's right to exist. You may recall when we did the G20 about a little while
00:06:19.140 ago, I was able to get a resolution, a statement passed through there saying we're going to build
00:06:24.940 a railroad from Riyadh all the way through the Middle East into Saudi Arabia, Israel, etc., and
00:06:31.220 all the way up to Europe. Not the railroad, but the underground pipeline and then railroad. The
00:06:37.420 whole idea is there's overwhelming interest, and I think most Arab nations know it, in coordinating
00:06:43.220 with one another to change the dynamic in their region for a longer term peace. And that is what I'm
00:06:50.300 going to continue to work on. Thank you all very, very much. I appreciate it. Yes, that is our
00:06:55.180 president. And yes, that is what he did say. Voters in one Pennsylvania county are a little skeptical
00:07:01.800 about electronic voting. Still, after machines again glitched, glitched for a second time, voters in
00:07:09.300 Northampton County faced issues on Election Day this month, similar to the ones they faced a couple of
00:07:15.000 years ago in the same county. Northampton used ES&S voting machines for the first time in 2019
00:07:21.960 and saw what they called a programming glitch, end quote, that caused a significant undercount of
00:07:28.780 votes in the local judges race. And on November 7th of this year, voters discovered that their printouts
00:07:34.780 meant to confirm their votes on the devices didn't match their choices for two down-ballot judges races.
00:07:41.700 And so it goes. The GOP county chairman, Glenn Geisinger, said in 2019, when these issues came
00:07:49.180 up with the glitching voting machines, they were told, don't worry about it. The cards are recording
00:07:54.100 the real votes. Don't worry about what's just printed on the card. And now, four years later,
00:07:59.940 and another stolen presidential election later, they still haven't appeared to fix the problem.
00:08:05.700 But as you know, folks, if you challenge the status quo, the Marxist Dems and the electronic
00:08:11.460 voting companies or anybody else in the Marxist Dems biosphere, corrupt or not, you are the
00:08:18.400 conspiracy theorists and you are the worst thing of all, an election denier, just because the elections
00:08:25.120 are crooked. Imagine that. Our guest today knows elections and politics through and through.
00:08:30.840 He's Republican strategist and pollster John McLaughlin. John is also an advisor to President
00:08:37.200 Trump does his polling as well. John, great to have you back with us. We're delighted to see you.
00:08:42.000 Let's talk about your latest monthly poll and give us thoughts on what's going on in our body politic.
00:08:48.420 Well, thanks, Lou. This poll's just out of the field. We completed it the 16th through the 20th,
00:08:54.220 and it's 1,000 likely voters across the country ran the data yesterday. And you're the first
00:08:59.980 program. We put it out. We put it up on our website on mclaughlinonline.com. But 68% of all
00:09:06.820 Americans say the country's on the wrong track. The number of people that say we're in recessions at
00:09:13.440 51%. 65% say that the economy is getting better. I mean, worse, worse. The better is only 31%.
00:09:23.200 And 84% have been negatively impacted by inflation. You've got 46% saying to the point where they're
00:09:30.660 having trouble affording basic necessities. And Bidenomics, which the incumbent president is
00:09:36.760 running on, is 26 favorable, 46 unfavorable. And more voters think Bidenomics is socialism.
00:09:45.180 So it makes a lot of sense that they think we're on the wrong track.
00:09:50.260 It's interesting, because right now, for the first time in, well, I've been talking about Marxists,
00:09:58.620 Democrat Marxists in this country for years. But we're starting to see the term Marxist show up in
00:10:05.780 the lexicon of even the national corporate media. We're seeing it on the conservative side,
00:10:14.420 Republicans are even using the expression, office holders who wanted to always sort of dance around
00:10:19.780 it. They'd talk softly about socialism, but never Marxism and how what an imperative this is for
00:10:26.640 the Biden regime. The Marxist Dems are now in charge of the Democrat Party. It's clear to see.
00:10:33.060 I mean, we're looking at a Marxist takeover of this country without any question.
00:10:40.920 Right. And you're seeing it, by the way, like in this poll, when we asked them,
00:10:44.640 we have been asking Americans, do you prefer big government socialism or free market capitalism?
00:10:51.500 And overwhelmingly, every month, it was they preferred free market capitalism four to one
00:10:56.480 over over big government socialism. And the big government actually puts it in context for
00:11:02.060 Americans. And we've done some research with with Newt Gingrich, and we kind of stole the free
00:11:06.360 market capitalism for from our friend Larry Kudlow, etc. But the pairing, it was overwhelmingly four to
00:11:11.800 one. Americans still prefer free market capitalism. However, the Biden people, when we asked and we
00:11:18.020 changed it a couple of months ago, we started asking, is Bidenomics and his policies, is it free
00:11:24.660 market capitalism? And 31% said it is, but 44% said it's big government socialism. And the idea of
00:11:32.140 socialism now has context, which is negative among Americans. And what's ironic is President Trump
00:11:38.480 recently said that, you know, the Marxist, the communist, the fascist, the radical left,
00:11:45.700 they're the vermin. And they use and he used the word vermin to describe these political opponents
00:11:50.920 who are trying to put him in jail. And the media automatically attacks him back. Oh, it's the same
00:11:56.700 old Trump. He's a he's calling. He's calling his opponents vermin. And they drop out Marxist,
00:12:04.380 communist, fascist, radical left to describe vermin. They drop that part of the quote right out. And
00:12:13.180 they just say he's calling his opponents vermin. Well, you know, Marxist, communist, fascist,
00:12:18.180 radical left, they are vermin. They're undermining the country. And would you? Yeah, what would you call
00:12:24.320 this regime, these Marxist Dems who are undercutting every aspect of our society, attacking our economic
00:12:32.880 system, attacking our system of government, trying to destroy the government? They have, frankly,
00:12:40.900 they've infiltrated every, not only infiltrated every agency and every department of the federal
00:12:47.040 government, they are running those agencies and departments. Right. And, you know, the,
00:12:53.800 there is no better description, but they're still, they're not packing down, they're doubling down.
00:13:00.440 And instead of, instead of, you know, doing what Obama did, where he tried to moderate his image,
00:13:06.280 that he wasn't going to be that radical, he would moderate during the elections.
00:13:10.460 Biden's like doubling down on Bidenomics. He's doubling down on government control. He's doubling
00:13:15.320 down on the deep state, you know, in effect, spying on our lives, controlling our lives,
00:13:21.220 and it's backfiring on them. And in this poll, which you have, you're like the first person to
00:13:27.500 get the numbers. President Trump has his best numbers that he's had all year, where in the
00:13:34.520 Republican primary, he's got 58% of the vote. And the national Republican primary, DeSantis only has
00:13:41.820 11%. DeSantis and Trump in January, in the multi-candidate field, was 42% for, pardon me,
00:13:51.820 50, yeah, 42% for Trump, 31% DeSantis. It was only an 11-point lead for Trump. Now it's 58 to 11,
00:14:01.940 47 points. And by the way, Vivek Ramos, some armies in third by a hair at 8%, right behind him
00:14:08.720 is Nikki Haley at 8%. And one-on-one in a primary, Trump beats DeSantis among all national
00:14:15.340 Republican primary voters, 75-25. He beats Nikki Haley, 78-22. And the most distressing thing for
00:14:23.800 the Biden Democrats is Donald Trump is beating Biden 49-43. That's in a sample that's modeled after
00:14:32.320 the 2020 turnout, that there's 4% more Biden 2020 voters than there are Trump 2020 voters. Meaning
00:14:40.820 that in this poll, there's a sizable segment of voters who voted for Biden in 2020, now regret that
00:14:48.700 vote and are voting for Trump in 2024. And it's significant. And we also have, if there's a
00:14:55.820 multi-candidate field, because now you get all these Bidens disintegrating. And, you know, what
00:15:01.840 happens if these other candidates get in? Trump, he still leads 36% in a large field. Biden's only at
00:15:10.280 32. Robert Kennedy's at 12, and he'll go down farther. But you've got, you've got Cornel West
00:15:17.740 at four, Joe Manchin at three, and Jill Stein at two. And I say the more the merrier, because Trump's
00:15:24.600 base is the most solid. And all these other candidates are, their, their cumulative effect
00:15:29.920 is they're pulling votes from Joe Biden. So it's going to drive the Democrats crazy. And the other
00:15:35.760 part is Kamala Harris is no better. Trump beats Kamala Harris 51 to 40. So, right. So she's not
00:15:43.620 going anywhere. She's playing the actuarial tables right now. So she's, it's good because she hasn't
00:15:50.640 got anything else. Best, best I can tell. The woman is incoherent. She's incomprehensible.
00:15:57.080 She seems to not be entirely without her own impairment issues. This is, this is, if I've ever
00:16:05.780 seen an empty vessel, this would be her. This is astonishing how nicely everyone's talking.
00:16:13.360 You know, they, they talk about the impairment, uh, the compromised, uh, puppet president, but what
00:16:19.840 is, how would you characterize the vice president of the United States? She's every bit is inept.
00:16:25.220 Well, she's incompetent, but she's, she's, she's corrupt and he's corrupt. And, and the classic
00:16:31.280 thing is all these, all these indictments against Trump have backfired where, when we asked the voters,
00:16:36.920 do you think that these are political indictments meant, you know, the politics play a role in these
00:16:42.500 indictments, 67% of all voters say they did. And as Republicans, it's 83%. Do you think Joe Biden
00:16:50.060 played a role in these indictments among all voters, 61% that's the highest ever as the cases come online
00:16:57.900 and people see what the facts are, whether it's, uh, Letitia James in New York trying to confiscate
00:17:03.500 the Trump wealth, whether it's, uh, this guy Smith, who's the, uh, justice department prosecutor
00:17:09.740 or Fannie Willis, as this comes out, it looks like Joe Biden's behind it. Cause these are all
00:17:15.400 political Trumped up charges. And with Republican primary voters, it's 82%. And when we ask all
00:17:22.140 voters, are these meant to stop Trump from running for office 52 to 35, they say, yes, the primary
00:17:28.020 voters 77 to 15. Is there a double standard of justice? They say, yes, 57 to 29 among all voters,
00:17:35.880 primary voters 82 to nine. And you know, as should they, 82 to nine, 82 to nine among the primary
00:17:43.140 vote that it's total backfire. The Republicans see through this because president Trump is leading
00:17:50.340 Joe Biden in all the national polls right now. I mean, eight in the last week that are published
00:17:55.420 on the real clear politics website, Trump is beating Joe Biden in the popular vote. We never saw that in
00:18:01.260 2016, never saw it in 2020. It was always an electrical, electrical, electoral battleground
00:18:09.060 state play that we were going to win enough electoral votes. We'd lose the national popular
00:18:14.100 vote, but we would win in the battleground states with electoral votes. Well, right now we're winning
00:18:18.780 all the polls, popular vote. It would be an electoral landslide for Trump. And you know, it's 11 months
00:18:25.540 to go, but we still got to go. And the voters, as it gets closer, they don't want these court cases
00:18:30.260 online. They want to decide the election themselves. They say 60 to 31, let the elect, let the voters
00:18:37.580 decide. That's among all voters. And the primary voters say 85 to 12, let the voters decide. So they
00:18:44.840 don't want to have trials. They want an election. They want to decide this for themselves. And guess
00:18:51.640 what? It's because they want Donald Trump to beat Joe Biden. So it's, it really is amazing to see
00:18:58.460 these numbers. These are huge numbers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but these are some of the best numbers
00:19:05.620 we've ever seen at this point for a Republican candidate against a Democrat in this, in this
00:19:11.960 particular century. Is that not true? That's true. I'd say the last time you saw numbers like this for a Republican
00:19:17.860 candidate for president, it was probably Reagan or, or George H.W. Bush in the eighties. So this is
00:19:25.340 better than remember all the polls in 2004. The media was stunned when George W. Bush got reelected
00:19:31.360 because their polls said it was going to be John Kerry. And they thought, you know, I was working
00:19:35.320 doing election desk stuff for CBS that day as a balance to the Democrat pollster. And they wouldn't
00:19:42.680 call Ohio for Bush. And I'm like, you got to call it. And they're like, why? It's like, you know, I said,
00:19:48.080 the votes are coming in, we're winning. And they're like, the exit polls. I said, your exit polls are wrong.
00:19:52.600 It's like Bush was going to win. So now what you've got is you, and you could look at statistically,
00:19:58.420 if you went through it, they were wrong. I mean, they, they, they, they just had bad demographics.
00:20:02.560 They didn't have the urban ex-urban vote, right? But here now you're looking at these numbers.
00:20:07.520 And I think the media has been embarrassed so many times by Trump, where there was going to be
00:20:13.360 the, the Hillary lock. It was definitely going to be a lock for Hillary. And then in 2020,
00:20:19.200 it was a Biden blue wave. Both elections were extremely close where you, you know, when we won
00:20:25.280 in 2016. I can remember I w I was covering those elections and I have to tell you what great fun I
00:20:31.340 was having because I was working at that time for a left wing crazed network, CNN.
00:20:37.520 Uh, and I, uh, I, I was just joyous and around me, uh, all of my colleagues look like they were going
00:20:44.160 to, uh, fold up and, uh, with their cheap lawn chairs. Uh, we're, we're talking with John McLaughlin.
00:20:50.240 We're talking about, uh, how good president Trump's numbers are looking and let's see what about, uh,
00:20:57.200 what about the country? We're going to take that over John McLaughlin and see what, uh, the polls are,
00:21:03.040 are saying about that very important year, 2024. We'll be right back. Please stay with us.
00:21:14.320 We're back. We're talking with John McLaughlin and, uh, whose polls, uh, this month, uh, just come out,
00:21:20.240 uh, great numbers for the president, great numbers. Uh, well, let me rephrase that great numbers,
00:21:28.400 but they're terrible numbers, uh, for Joe Biden and the Marxist Dems. I have to ask you as a
00:21:35.120 strategist and pollster, all that you have seen in an election. I can't recall a time when the,
00:21:41.840 the incumbent president was this, uh, reviled, uh, in this much trouble with the polls, irrespective of,
00:21:50.160 uh, whatever the reason or that was the economy or the judgments by the poll, uh, the, uh, the,
00:21:56.720 the, the, the polls, uh, the poll citizens, uh, of his abilities, this president and Kamala Harris
00:22:03.760 together are a drag on the ticket, uh, together. It's there are two anchors that are sinking, uh,
00:22:10.560 the prospects for the Democrats. How much time do the Democrats really have to decide what to do?
00:22:17.680 And I'm talking for, uh, trying to help Barack Obama here, come out from behind the curtain and
00:22:23.840 hear you and think about what to do because his, his folks are in real trouble here, aren't they?
00:22:30.560 Yes. But I wouldn't, I wouldn't underestimate them because when you think of the kind of
00:22:36.000 levers that the Democrat party has, I mean, Joe Biden is not going anywhere because of his family
00:22:40.720 corruption. And in fact, an untold story in the media is right now, the filing dates are passing.
00:22:47.760 So if you want to collect delegates, the, the filing dates for primary candidates to get in,
00:22:55.120 um, you know, they're going by South Carolina's passed. So that's really their first,
00:23:01.120 because Joe Biden changed the rules that South Carolina is really their first state
00:23:04.880 that awards delegates. He, he's, he definitely, he, he insulted the, the Democratic voters in
00:23:12.080 Iowa and New Hampshire by taking away their delegates until after South Carolina.
00:23:15.760 And that was to protect his nomination. And then quickly after that comes, you know,
00:23:21.120 after you have South Carolina on February 24th, you then have, uh, the super Tuesday states on March
00:23:28.080 5th. And then a week later on March 12th, you have like another round of states, including Florida,
00:23:33.680 et cetera, that are big delegate states. So Joe Biden, by making the filing dates with nobody else
00:23:41.040 in against him, except Marianne Williamson and maybe Dean Williams, by the way, you know, in this,
00:23:45.360 in this poll, Joe Biden's getting, uh, uh, uh, he's, he's literally getting eight percent,
00:23:50.720 66% of the vote Williamson eight and 3% go to Dean Phillips. He's not getting anything.
00:23:57.680 So Biden's going to lock up the primary. They're going to be stuck with him.
00:24:01.840 And understanding that he's a wounded Joe Biden, he's not beaten yet. And, and for the Trump people,
00:24:09.040 we've had a very good year fighting off the indictments, fighting off Joe Biden on a lot of issues,
00:24:15.040 but it's going to get more intense and we're going to have to step it up to a better game to make sure
00:24:21.120 Donald Trump wins. We, first of all, we've got to win our own nomination where you've got 54 days
00:24:26.320 from today. We've got to win the Iowa caucuses and we've got good leads in Iowa. We've got good leads
00:24:32.320 in New Hampshire, and then we've got to win in Nevada and South Carolina. So we have to worry about
00:24:38.240 first locking up our, our nomination and not letting the Democrats interfere. They could interfere
00:24:43.760 in our primaries. Well, you know, you, you know, they're going to because, and that brings up the
00:24:48.880 question. And I know that this is a difficult thing to ask any Republican strategist, but we're talking
00:24:55.040 about the Republican national committee. We're talking about Rana Romney, who's still there, still
00:25:03.440 crushing the, you know, the, the leadership of the RNC. And by crushing, I mean, weighing it down to the
00:25:12.000 point that it's ineffably broken and inert. How long do the Republicans have to replace her
00:25:20.480 with a dynamo, with real energy, and to shake up the national Republican structure that is all of
00:25:27.840 the committee men and women across the country, all 168, and get them moving instead of watching?
00:25:35.840 Well, first of all, we've got to do is, that's why Trump needs to win Iowa big. He needs to win
00:25:40.720 New Hampshire big, and we need to close it out soon thereafter. And the reason we have to do that
00:25:46.240 is precisely so we have the, the moral authority from the voters to make changes. Because the
00:25:51.840 Republicans are not going to win if they do what they did in 2020. I mean, I learned a hard lesson
00:25:57.120 years ago when I worked for Eric Cantor, that the Democrats and Obama people came in and they,
00:26:02.320 in an open primary in Virginia, you had three out of 10 voters were Democrats crossing over to beat
00:26:07.120 Eric Cantor in the primary. And because of that, could I interrupt for just one second?
00:26:14.240 Why are the Republicans so insistent on an open primary? It is mindless to do it.
00:26:21.760 And it's one of the reasons that you're, you see a party ribbon with rhinos, left wing rhinos,
00:26:29.280 no right wing rhinos, and even more ridiculous factions within the Republican Party to the point
00:26:35.840 it's very difficult for them to govern, even when they have a majority in their conference
00:26:39.760 in the Congress. Well, most Republicans I know want to close primary. However, it's a state law.
00:26:46.480 State by state, it's governed by the state law. So where Republicans control it, most often it's
00:26:53.520 closed. And still in New York state, it's that way. New Hampshire, you got to be a registered
00:27:00.080 Republican. The Iowa caucus is registered Republican, but you can still switch, but the
00:27:05.600 caucus is controlled by the party. So it's not a state law. There are some state laws that are
00:27:10.640 governing it. But in Iowa, if you show up on January 15th at night to attend a caucus,
00:27:16.240 you better be a registered Republican. Otherwise your vote doesn't count. In New Hampshire,
00:27:20.960 registered Republicans vote, but independents can also pick one of the two primaries to come into.
00:27:26.160 So it's only when you get to South Carolina that it's open, but it usually doesn't happen. So going
00:27:32.400 back to the point of this is they can meddle. Like I learned a bitter lesson with Eric Cantor that it
00:27:39.200 helped me the following year in 2015, when I had to help Bibi Netanyahu in Israel, Obama had sent
00:27:45.920 people over to run a super PAC anybody, but Bibi, we knew their tactics. And we basically
00:27:51.440 were like Bibi's line to me was they have an army over here trying to beat me. And I said,
00:27:56.240 yeah, but you have a mob. We have to tell the mob what's going on. And then what happened with 2016
00:28:01.600 with Trump the following year, the reason Trump was out there on Facebook and was doing so many things
00:28:08.160 was because we were battling the Obama people who were trying to help Hillary. And we ended up beating
00:28:13.920 them and eking it out by 70,000, 78,000 votes in a historic election where an outsider won 2020.
00:28:21.680 The RNC took over and they were telling us things that, you know, there's no evidence of a Biden
00:28:27.360 ground game. There's no buying tactics. Biden had put all his money into TV. Well, sure. They had all
00:28:32.400 these Zuckerberg nonprofits, you know, doing Dropbox and Google and do a ballot harvesting. They got
00:28:40.400 snookered and and we all got beat because it's like certain states like North Carolina, Florida.
00:28:46.400 Florida has an exceptional rule where they track every vote and there's got to be ballot security.
00:28:52.400 Same thing in Ken Paxton in Texas fought the changes. North Carolina, they fought it. It's places like
00:28:59.600 Georgia where the Republicans were asleep at the switch with a consent order that they allowed the
00:29:05.600 drop boxes. And, you know, a guy who doesn't get credit who fixed those laws, but for whatever
00:29:10.960 reason, Governor Kemp didn't let him fix it, you know, before or after, because Governor Deal,
00:29:16.400 we never allowed drop boxes. Right now, there is a federal court decision coming in January
00:29:23.760 in which we're going to find out whether a federal judge decides if those electronic voting machines
00:29:30.480 actually should be permitted in the election of 2024 because they have been shown to be vulnerable
00:29:37.600 to hacking and to anomalies, I'll put it that way kindly, as a result of recent elections.
00:29:46.320 That is a big case, Judge Amy Totenberg in federal court in Atlanta.
00:29:51.920 Yeah. And that could cause some considerable reform in the state of Georgia, don't you think?
00:30:00.160 Yes. And we're watching that. And my former client, the late Speaker Ralston from Georgia,
00:30:08.640 he passed away right after the election in 22. But before he did that in 21, they changed the Georgia
00:30:15.280 election law to require voter ID, whether you're voting in person or absentee. And you also the
00:30:22.880 drop boxes had to be secured in a in a government building so that only one person could put in one
00:30:30.480 ballot. You couldn't have ballot harvesting like they had. And this guy, Mark Elias was fighting it.
00:30:36.160 And and and right. And but because they don't want voter ID, the Democrats are the threat to
00:30:42.560 democracy, not Donald Trump. They Democrats, Joe Biden, they don't want voter ID. They don't want
00:30:48.320 ballot security. They don't want voter integrity. And instead, they penalize Major League Baseball.
00:30:54.000 They penalize. They were calling them racist, et cetera. Oh, yeah. And guess what? Major League
00:30:58.640 Baseball, they took away the all star game or whatever. And Georgia, you had an honest election last
00:31:04.240 time. And the the in in 2020, there was a million absentee write in votes and they couldn't tell you
00:31:12.480 how many came in drop boxes, how many came at, you know, in the mail. But we but we were able to track
00:31:19.200 it in post election polls. The drop boxes voted 73 to 20 against Donald Trump, 73 to 27 against Donald
00:31:26.960 Trump. And once we got rid of those last year in the statewide elections where Kemp got reelected,
00:31:32.800 where all the statewide officers got reelected, granted Herschel laws, but all the other Republicans
00:31:38.240 won, there was only 250,000 write in or absentee ballots. You if you voted early, you pretty much
00:31:44.640 showed up early in person or you voted on Election Day and both needed voter ID. If we.
00:31:50.320 So when are the Republicans going to wise up and decide and and we'll take this up on the other side
00:31:57.280 of this commercial, but and decide they're not going to be patsies for the Dems in any states,
00:32:02.800 even states where the Democrats have overwhelming numerical advantages. We're going to take that up
00:32:11.120 with John McLaughlin here next. Stay with us on The Great America Show. We'll be right back.
00:32:15.360 We're back with John McLaughlin. John, the Republicans in so many states, I don't know if I can say most,
00:32:28.080 but many states are just utter patsies for the Marxist Dems. You mentioned New York earlier. I
00:32:34.880 mean, what happens in New York is outrageous every every election. And yet there's never a change.
00:32:42.640 There's never a cadre, a phalanx of attorneys for the Republicans coming in to attack and to make sure
00:32:53.040 that the things are at least on the up and up, if not indeed absolutely secure. Why do you think
00:33:03.280 changing the head of the RNC is a good first start toward getting there? Well, I think, again,
00:33:09.280 first of all, I work for Donald Trump. So our first mission is making Trump secure the nomination.
00:33:15.360 And when he secures the nomination, we then have to make sure that the RNC works for him.
00:33:21.120 And Rana may be there, but she's a figurehead. The place is full of never Trumpers. And the RGA,
00:33:28.000 these other there's so get rid of them. So get rid of them. Right. We have fit. But there's 54 days till Iowa.
00:33:34.320 Then there's eight more days to New Hampshire. We have to win the nomination because we can't get
00:33:41.040 rid of them until we win the nomination. Either they fall in line by then or else we have to get
00:33:46.160 rid of them because you're right. They're patsies. They don't they don't defend the election integrity
00:33:50.960 like they should. You mentioned New York. New York has a green light law on the ballot,
00:33:55.760 not on the ballot in the law. Any any contact with the state government and you're automatically
00:34:01.840 registered to vote. And they give the green light law gives driver's license to illegal immigrants.
00:34:07.440 That's right. All these illegal immigrants and speaker Mike Johnson, when he before he was speaker,
00:34:13.040 he was on to this. He's like they want the illegal immigrants in because somehow if you get rid of
00:34:18.560 voter ID, they can vote. And the Republican National Committee needs to make it their mission
00:34:24.320 that the ballot is sacred and the Democrats are not going to undermine American democracy
00:34:30.720 by bringing people in from around the world illegally to then be allowed to vote in our
00:34:35.120 elections. And non-citizens are allowed to vote in Maryland. They're allowed to vote in Vermont.
00:34:40.480 They're allowed to vote in municipal elections, different places. The New York City Council voted to
00:34:45.200 allow them to vote. But it was held up by by a judge that they can't do that.
00:34:50.080 Yeah, but they can't do it. Will they do it? And the answer is probably they're going to do it
00:34:56.480 one way or the other by hook or by crook. And they are crooked and they do use hooks. They're going to
00:35:02.080 do it. And until the Republicans move in and clean up the place. And by the way, they're not going to be
00:35:08.960 invited in. They're not going to have a little comfy couch where people bring them in and set them down.
00:35:14.800 So why? I don't understand. We're now at the end of 2023. We've known what the situation was for the past
00:35:25.760 two years. We also know what has to be done. How in the world does the Republican Party,
00:35:33.920 irrespective of the RNC, tolerate the idiots who run it? You're talking about them being inculcated.
00:35:41.760 Everybody wants to whisper about Ronna McDaniel. She's a Romney to through and through. And by the way,
00:35:52.000 she is absolutely a disaster. Everybody knew she was a disaster, by the way, including Donald Trump.
00:36:00.320 And there she was, ensconced as the head of the RNC. What in the world is going on with a party that is
00:36:09.000 this frightened of itself that it can't do the right thing?
00:36:13.160 The key thing here is we've got to make sure Donald Trump wins the nomination again.
00:36:17.320 And when that happens, I assure you, the one thing about Donald Trump, this campaign,
00:36:22.040 he's listening. He's more determined. He's focused. When you think of everything they've thrown at
00:36:26.680 President Trump, they've tried to, they've tried, they're intent, Biden's intent on trying to put him
00:36:32.440 in jail. But John, forgive me. You know something? I'm the last person you'll have to persuade that
00:36:39.080 Donald Trump is a warrior, that he has absolutely extraordinary, ultra-human capacity and strength
00:36:47.240 and ability. He's demonstrated it over and over. The question isn't Donald Trump. He's answered all
00:36:55.320 the questions. In his first term in office, he did everything and more than anyone could have possibly
00:37:01.720 expected. But what I'm asking is, where in the world are the leaders in the Republican Party that
00:37:08.280 don't have to be brought by the nape of the necks, you know, retching and screaming to do the right
00:37:14.940 thing? They are sitting there watching Ronna McDaniel screw this up royally. And you and I both know it.
00:37:22.200 And they know it. And yet here we are talking about Donald Trump. He's not the problem. He's the
00:37:29.480 solution. Right. By the way, what do we do? Those of us who are old enough to remember Ronald Reagan,
00:37:38.180 we went through this in the 70s. You went through this where in 76 Reagan came close and then there
00:37:44.620 was buyer's remorse. And all of a sudden he won the nomination, but he had to win the nomination at 80.
00:37:50.220 He had to tell them in New Hampshire, I paid for this, Mike. And then he had to then he had to go
00:37:55.660 into the Republican National Committee and clean it out and make sure that everybody was a Reaganite
00:38:00.800 was going to make sure that he could beat Jimmy Carter. And when they realized he was going to beat
00:38:05.500 Jimmy Carter, remember the third party candidate back then was John Anderson. I do. I covered Ronald Reagan
00:38:12.400 in the 76 campaign. That tells you a little bit how young I am.
00:38:17.840 Yeah. And I volunteered for Reagan. So it's like, but in 80, you know, all of a sudden we had to we had
00:38:25.160 to win control of the party so we could do what we could do to beat Jimmy Carter. And I feel sorry for
00:38:29.980 him, his wife's passing, et cetera. But we had to do that for the good of America, that we had to win
00:38:36.060 that election. So right now you have a similar situation for the good of America. We have to
00:38:41.780 fight the D.C. establishment again. And it's not because of incompetence. It's corruption.
00:38:47.440 There is corruption in the Republican Party. There is corruption, certainly in the White House with
00:38:52.240 what's going on with Joe Biden. And he's going to fight us tooth and nail. And he's going to have big
00:38:56.960 media and he's got to have big tech. We're going to have an enormous forces against us that we we won't
00:39:03.700 have time to to make deals or to tolerate anybody who could, you know, part of the D.C. establishment,
00:39:12.120 whether they're Republican or Democrat, because their corruption wants to see us beat. They don't
00:39:17.660 want the guy, this blue collar billionaire who represents the average working people of America.
00:39:23.900 They don't want him in power again because then they won't be able to exploit us anymore.
00:39:28.480 So it's it's it's going to be a it's it's a colossal fight we have ahead. The polls look
00:39:33.780 good right now. But let me tell you, they are going to throw everything they can at Donald Trump
00:39:38.460 to stop us from winning. And we've built this before Ronald Reagan.
00:39:43.100 No surprise. And that they're because I know what they're going to do. And I think most Americans
00:39:48.420 know what they're going to do. They've shown us in 2020 in 2022. And we've got our tails kicked
00:39:55.480 with a slim, slim, slight edge for the House of Representatives. But do we have three names?
00:40:04.860 Do you have three names that are ready to step in when Ronna McDaniel, Ronna Romney McDaniel
00:40:13.140 is replaced? We have an organization built around Donald Trump that when he says jump, people will leap.
00:40:21.840 Yes. I would think this campaign, I've been involved in all three campaigns with him.
00:40:26.640 And what I'm saying is this campaign team that Susie Wiles and Chris Lasavita and Jason Miller
00:40:31.220 that they put together with Brian Jack, et cetera, for the for the Trump campaign is the most effective
00:40:36.260 campaign he's had. He's leading them. They're listening. He's also listening to them, letting
00:40:41.620 them do what they've got to do. And I'm sure that once we we have to we're just focused on winning
00:40:47.280 the nomination right now. We have to win Iowa. We have to win New Hampshire. We have to win South
00:40:51.720 Carolina. We got to win Super Tuesday. That's our focus right now. When we do that, then we can then
00:40:57.900 we'll do what needs to be done to win the general election. So so, you know, right now, I mean, I don't
00:41:04.780 want to I'm not there's a lot of people who are cutting the pie before it's cooked. There's a lot of
00:41:09.000 people putting, you know, all the metaphors about the cart before the horse. We we have one goal
00:41:15.280 right now where it's we have to win January 15th in Iowa. Then we've got a goal eight days later to
00:41:21.420 win New Hampshire. And then we've got a goal after that to go win Nevada and then win South Carolina
00:41:26.800 and Super Tuesday following. Once we've done that, we're ready to go face off against Joe Biden.
00:41:33.720 So so that's where we are right now. And when that happens, then we turn the guns on. We we've been
00:41:39.760 by the way, part of the reason Donald Trump is ahead a year ago, I had to go meet with him.
00:41:45.260 And in Mar-a-Lago. And, you know, the polls were not great. I mean, right. One on one against
00:41:50.780 DeSantis, who is only 52 to 41. Today, it's in the primary 75, 25, one on one against DeSantis.
00:41:58.060 But back then, I had to say to President Trump, if you want to win, you have to beat Joe Biden.
00:42:02.680 The reason Republicans wanted you to run again is to beat Joe Biden. And, you know, I said I said,
00:42:08.400 you need to prove every day that you can beat him, that you're better on the border, the economy,
00:42:12.580 you're better on national security, you're better on a whole host of issues, crime, etc.
00:42:17.520 And you know what? President Trump, listen, and he executed that over the past year. He's executed
00:42:23.320 that to the point of we're in a span of four months or pardon me. He got in five months. He got
00:42:31.340 indicted four times by Joe Biden. He was so good at it that Joe Biden is such a ruthless, corrupt
00:42:36.980 politician that he wants to make Donald Trump the Nelson Mandela of America and put him in jail.
00:42:42.080 But Americans are seeing through that. So so don't give Donald Trump credit. We've had a good
00:42:48.860 year, but it's been a very tough year where they're throwing everything at him. We've never seen we've
00:42:54.700 never seen the kind of corruption before in America by a president where he's willing to indict his
00:43:00.300 leading political opponent. And by the way, if Ron DeSantis or Nikki Haley or any of them were ahead,
00:43:05.080 they'd probably get indicted. But they're not. Yeah, they don't have to worry about indictments.
00:43:10.940 No, it's only they are. They are the milk of the campaign and this election year. John,
00:43:18.400 it's great to have you with us. We always give our guests the final word. Your concluding thoughts
00:43:25.140 concluding right now is we're we've had a good 23, but people don't vote in 23 for president.
00:43:32.920 You have to vote in 24. So we're right now what we need if we want to take back our country.
00:43:38.880 We need to make sure Donald Trump wins the nomination where he does really well in Iowa,
00:43:43.040 that he does really well in New Hampshire and does well in the following states so that we can
00:43:47.320 secure the nomination. That's only the first step. Then we are in for a cataclysmic historic battle
00:43:53.680 against the D.C. establishment and Joe Biden. And so we need all Americans to stay tuned and make sure
00:44:01.260 that they're up to date on the issues and make sure that, you know, if they want Donald Trump to win,
00:44:06.720 they got to be out there fighting for us and we got to be out there fighting for them. So
00:44:10.380 so 24 is going to be a historic year. So, you know, I'm sure we're going to be speaking again.
00:44:17.020 You got a deal. And as far as historic, I'll just say, make it so. We appreciate it.
00:44:23.400 John McLaughlin, thanks so much for being with us here on The Great America Show. God bless you.
00:44:27.340 Thank you.
00:44:28.060 Thank you, John McLaughlin. Thanks, everybody, for being with us here today. Our guest here tomorrow
00:44:32.740 on The Great America Show, Congressman Matt Rosendale. Please join us for that here tomorrow
00:44:38.980 and each and every day. Thanks, everybody. God bless you. And may God bless America.
