00:00:00.000hello everybody and welcome to the great america show it's great to have you with us on a beautiful
00:00:06.780day in america thanks so much for being with us live tonight here for the great america show
00:00:11.000as i said we're live so let us know as always where you're tuned in from we appreciate you
00:00:15.600catching up with us for those who've reached out um who missed uh i guess one of the shows
00:00:20.920uh over the course of the next few weeks i'm going to be taking a little bit of time off
00:00:24.060both for work and for travel and to enjoy a little bit of the summer.
00:00:29.780So Stephen Gardner will be filling in for me on those days that I will be
00:00:35.340taking off. So there's nothing wrong with me. Don't, don't worry.
00:00:39.820I'll be back. But like I said, over the next, of course, two months,
00:00:44.220we're going to be taking a little bit of time off.
00:00:47.240So you'll be hanging with Steve Gardner.
00:00:49.900who's just as good as me, if not better, but a big day, big day for the Supreme Court,
00:00:56.960big day for the United States of America. It was good in some senses,
00:01:02.700disappointing in others, disappointing in the sense of some of the justices we thought were
00:01:10.300conservative. Some of the justices we thought were appointed to uphold truth justice in the
00:01:16.400American Wade, appointed to uphold the rule and the value of our American laws. Turns out,
00:01:25.380haven't exactly been doing that. Now, John Roberts, of course, one of them
00:01:28.480we've all known about. Andy Coney Barrett, I think, is the one who managed to fool everybody.
00:01:37.200And the big case, I guess we'll start off talking about today, is the birthright citizenship.
00:01:41.660I want to bring a clip up that President Trump, just a few months ago, he didn't seem too optimistic that they were going to rule in favor of truth, justice in the American way.
00:01:52.400And not even that, but in the rule of law.
00:08:06.360Suppose that country is a strategic adversary or enemy of the United States.
00:08:11.500Suppose the child never visited the United States while growing up and was inculcated with hatred of this country.
00:08:17.700According to this court, now, that person is a citizen of the United States.
00:08:22.100He can enter and leave the country as he pleases. He can travel the world on a United States passport.
00:08:27.780Even if he plots to harm this country, he cannot be deprived of his status as a citizen, at least under current precedent.
00:08:34.420He goes on to say that this this decision today also provides a powerful incentive to enter or remain in this country illegally.
00:08:43.860He goes on to say, in my judgment, the court has made a mistake that will seriously affect the country's future.
00:08:49.200So some very pointed dissents here from those who raised these very big concerns during the arguments and their real world scenarios, which are not a fantasy.
00:09:00.520They're not a movie. I mean, these things that can actually happen now under this ruling that you have today from the majority.
00:09:08.640Of course, they can happen and they will happen.0.56
00:09:13.060Iranian refugees will come across the border, the southern border.
00:09:18.200Republicans aren't going to be in power forever.
00:09:20.060They've got the border pretty under control right now, but it's not going to be like that forever till the Democrats take back over.
00:09:27.680So they'll come across the border and they'll breed their children in this country to hate America, to despise America, to envy America.
00:09:38.360And it will all be from this ruling from the Supreme Court that says they're allowed to do this.0.95
00:09:49.240And they'll register to vote and so on and so forth.
00:14:02.220And they're going to be continued to a lot to do.
00:14:07.580And we're probably going to see upticks in the same exact example of what I just explained happens, where people taking trips over from Asia, like I said, is a very prevalent one, very common one, Europe, wherever.
00:14:23.840to ensure that they're American citizens.
00:14:33.820Now, Rand Paul is not a person I talk about kindly on this show often,
00:14:39.060but I always give everyone a fair shake.
00:14:43.920If you're a bad dude, we call you out on it.
00:14:46.400If you do something good, we let everyone know you did something good.
00:14:49.040Rand Paul this afternoon expressing his strong, strong disappointment after the Supreme Court decided to uphold birthright citizenship.
00:15:00.400And instead of sitting on his hands, Rand Paul has already filed an amendment to fully end birthright citizenship for those who are in this country illegally.0.92
00:15:13.120This is, like I said, just the start.0.73
00:15:15.080And now President Trump, as we just read in his tweet, has already addressed Congress to get on it, to start rolling on it.
00:15:32.320And they've even taken it one step further.
00:15:36.240The DOJ has now, and this is just moments ago, directed prosecutors to prioritize birth tourism and the investigations to this Supreme Court ruling.
00:15:48.060Now it's one of the things I just told you.
00:15:50.020And this is a memo out, like I said, just moments ago.
00:15:53.180It's a good thing we're live tonight because we would have missed it.
00:15:56.460This is out just moments ago from the DOJ, from the Office of the Deputy Attorney General, soon to be Attorney General.
00:16:06.040The subject is prosecutions of fraudulent birth tourism schemes.
00:16:10.280And that's exactly what I just said to you guys about, you know, people from Asia coming into California to have their babies.0.82
00:16:18.680The benefits of the United States citizenship requires a little explanation.
00:16:22.580Like most countries in the world, the United States extends this extraordinary privilege to almost anyone born in its borders and territories.1.00
00:16:30.420Regrettably, the American system is exploited each year by thousands of foreigners0.98
00:16:34.060who travel to the United States under false pretenses to give birth and secure citizenship for their child.0.99
00:16:40.820Criminal laws in the United States already prohibit conduct inherent to many of those so-called birth tourism schemes.
00:16:48.820For example, many of the schemes start with false visa applications
00:16:52.460with lies about the purpose of the duration for one's travel in the United States.
00:16:57.600Some recent examples crystallized these schemes
00:18:18.660with birth tourism scheme that Eskal operated in New York.
00:18:24.840This man and his co-conspirators advertised a birth tourism scheme
00:18:28.600on two Turkish-language social media pages.
00:18:32.200As part of the scheme, Eskal and his co-conspirators instructed women
00:18:35.240to conceal their pregnancies from immigration authorities.
00:18:39.060In addition to the prison term, Eskal was ordered to pay restitution
00:18:44.200the amount of over a million dollars and forfeit the amount of nearly $400,000 that was made.
00:18:52.380These are just two examples, folks, and happens probably each and every day in this country.
00:18:59.040So moving past the third case that they give, they move on to say the Department of Justice
00:19:03.260will investigate and hold accountable those who engage in this unlawful conduct,
00:19:08.660as well as those who solicit and sell criminal services to others.
00:19:12.500They say they're directing all U.S. attorneys and criminal divisions to work with the Department of Homeland Security to prioritize investigations and prosecutions of tourism birth schemes.
00:20:11.400So please be sure to hit that like, subscribe, and follow button, and let us know where you're tuned in from and if you're enjoying the show.
00:20:19.760So some other Supreme Court cases that were taken up today by the Supreme Court that were released in this case, in this session, I should say.
00:20:34.440The Supreme Court striking down coordinated campaign spending limits.
00:20:38.860Today, the Supreme Court struck down federal limits on the amount of money a political committee can spend in coordination with federal candidates.
00:20:46.080Further, unwinding restrictions and restrictions on the flow of money into congressional campaigns just months ahead of the midterm elections.
00:20:54.080In this case, it's the National Republican Senatorial Committee versus the FEC.
00:20:58.6406-3 ruling along ideological party lines
00:21:56.840One they can't be happy about, certainly not happy about.0.99
00:22:01.120But I think they probably won the big one, which is the birthright citizenship, where they're going to allow these illegals to come to our country.0.76
00:22:17.360Now, the other one, which was a pretty big case that the Supreme Court took up today, or rather released today, was the transgenders allowing to play in women's sports, which I think we all know and disagree with here.0.74
00:22:43.300Why would men be playing in women's sports besides us, besides the point?
00:25:00.140Now, there's another Supreme Court ruling that came out.1.00
00:25:02.860This was yesterday. And Justice Alito authored the dissenting opinion because it didn't go the way that it should have.
00:25:13.940And it was on mail and ballot deadlines. Supreme Court ruled yesterday, 5-4, that federal law does not require mail and ballots to be received by Election Day.
00:25:50.840complies with the federal election day statute
00:25:54.440Justice Roberts, of course, joining on with Coney Barrett in this one
00:25:59.760and the three other Marxist Dems, Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, and Kavanaugh dissenting.
00:26:12.060Sorry, the allergies are killing me today.
00:26:16.040Alito writing in his dissenting opinion, federal law designates that the Tuesday,
00:26:20.420Next, after the first Monday in November as Election Day, provided that elections for federal office must be held on that date, noting that the electorate must be in accordance with the federal day statute makes it a choice on Election Day, not Election Week, not Election Month, not Election Season.
00:26:38.240If the ballots received after election are added to the set of ballots that dictate the election outcome, the electorate choice does not occur on election day, and the federal election day statutes are violated.
00:26:55.120The acceptance of these late-arriving ballots effectively postpones the date on which the electorate choice is made, and the federal law precudes that postponement.
00:29:38.720They can still play in places like California.
00:29:40.620Let California do their own thing and let them disappear from the rest of0.78
00:29:46.440America, New York for that matter as well.
00:29:48.640All the U.S. Congress has to do is pass a bill that states you cannot be an American citizen unless your mother is a legal citizen here in the United States.0.52
00:29:55.740Yeah, that would be the most common sense thing, GW5.
00:30:00.540I mean, that's, you're far too smart for these people.
