James Comey is finally being brought to justice for his crimes and we are finally seeing the end of the Deep State conspiracy against President Trump and the American people. The deep state has been out to get Trump for years and now they are finally getting their chance to pay for their crimes.
00:12:29.060Because what else would you watch a show named The Weekend?
00:12:31.500To address the ongoing threats of prosecution from the Trump administration following the indictment of James Comey.
00:12:37.860Now, during this interview, it was sort of interesting that, number one, he'd be out here even in the open saying anything because he's a fugitive, in my opinion.
00:12:49.780But during this interview, he asserted that he's not intimidated by President Trump or of any of his allies or the Department of Justice.
00:12:56.060And he emphasized his commitment to speaking out against what he claims are abuses of power.
00:13:04.540He specifically stated, quote, you know, there, I don't think there's any case against me.
00:13:14.440You know, I don't see any case against me.
00:13:17.060I have looked back on all of my actions and decisions.
00:13:20.980And with John Durham, the special counsel, and others that have looked at what we did, it was certainly consistent with our legal authorities and with the laws.
00:13:29.000So I don't know what, you know, they're referring to there.
00:13:33.060Individuals who used to work in the government, even if their security clearances were revoked, they could be subpoenaed.
00:13:37.400They could be, you know, called to provide testimony in support of whatever allegations they have.
00:15:13.440The indictment says that Comey lied in 2017 and then again in 2020 when he was asked about the 2017 testimony when he denied having ever, quote,
00:15:22.860authorize someone else at the FBI to be an anonymous source and news reports about the Trump investigation or the Clinton investigation, unquote.
00:15:30.000Given your experience with Comey, was he honest when he said he had never authorized a leak?
00:15:40.320All I can say to that, Jake, is I'm not aware of Jim Comey ever authorizing some other person to leak information.
00:15:47.880That's not something I experienced personally.
00:15:50.620It's not something I saw in all the time I spent working around Jim Comey.
00:15:55.200So I can't sit here and characterize his testimony, which I think is far from clear enough to be the basis of a false statement or perjury prosecution.
00:16:06.800But nevertheless, all I can say is what my own experience revealed.
00:16:10.000And that is I didn't ever see Jim Comey authorizing other people to leak information.
00:16:14.540Hmm. Interesting, because that's not what the Office of the Inspector General's report says.
00:16:24.500Which is kind of contradicting what McCabe said, just said.
00:17:19.740So they threw the chips out there, and now they land where they may.
00:17:26.500And where they're going to land is these people, I think, are going to start to fall like dominoes.
00:17:33.300And I think it's the only way that this country heals from this process of, I mean, disgust that the Democrats have put us into.
00:17:44.960Now, these are deep staters from back in 2016.
00:17:47.900And we also have some new deep staters, like Fannie Willis, who still has a case against President Trump, by the way, in the state of Georgia.
00:17:59.640Her and her boyfriend love her, Nathan Wade.
00:18:01.780But nonetheless, there's still a case down in Georgia that President Trump could be found guilty in and serve jail because he can't get pardoned for a state case.
00:18:11.260So I think there's a little bit of a problem for her who wanted to be one of these newcomers into the deep state.
00:18:25.520So she's finding herself in a little bit of trouble.
00:18:28.840Over the weekend, the New York Times has reported that the Department of Justice had issued a subpoena for records relating to the travel history of Fannie Willis, the Georgia district attorney,
00:18:40.080who charged President Trump in a sweeping election interference case, according to a federal grand jury subpoena reviewed by the New York Times.
00:18:46.500The scope of the investigation is not yet clear.
00:18:50.460Also unclear is whether Miss Willis is the target of the inquiry and whether she will ultimately face charges.
00:18:57.520The New York Times says they have independently reviewed this information, adding that the subpoena is, quote,
00:19:03.520an indication that the Justice Department under President Trump may be investigating another one of his old foes.
00:21:38.140Folks, I want to take one more quick break here.
00:21:39.840When we return on the other side of this break to the Great America Show, we're going to take up, there's some Democrats in the House who are promising retribution.
00:21:48.840They think they're going to get the House back in 2026.
00:21:52.800And they see when they get the House back, this one member, retribution is coming.
00:21:58.340We're going to tell you who that member is.
00:22:58.700And so we will bring oversight, accountability.
00:23:02.060We will subpoena the Department of Justice, but also private actors who have done these drug deals with the administration, college campuses, entertainment companies, law firms.
00:23:15.800And so, one, it's all coming out to I hope that deters people from doing more of these deals, these one offs with the president.
00:23:23.860One other point, though, on Comey, Kate, this happened when Donald Trump was president.
00:23:29.860So if you're trying to tell me this is not politically motivated, the statement that they're referring to where he allegedly lied, Donald Trump was president.
00:24:25.940I guess it's probably right that I break the news to you guys that Google's YouTube has agreed to pay 24 and a half million dollars to settle a 2021 lawsuit brought by President Trump over an account suspension.
00:25:17.980And we're going to sit back and we're going to enjoy it because what we watched for 10 years was absolutely disgusting.
00:25:24.400I want to turn to some breaking news, folks.
00:25:26.680The Palestinian government has reportedly, and this is just in the last few minutes, agreed to President Trump's plan to end the Israel-Hamas war.
00:25:37.040This is just literally just moments ago coming out from the Associated Press.
00:25:41.920And it reads, President Trump and Israel's prime minister said on Monday they've agreed to end the war in Gaza, but it's unclear whether Hamas will accept the terms.
00:25:50.760The plan has been presented to Hamas, which has been reviewed in good faith, to which they now have accepted.
00:25:56.340Trump laid out a 20-point plan for ending the Israel-Hamas war.
00:26:00.220We're going to bring you a little bit of what President Trump had to say on that earlier this afternoon, just before Hamas decided to accept this.
00:26:08.720If accepted by Hamas, his proposal calls for the release of all remaining hostages immediately, but in no case more than 72 hours.
00:26:20.060So the hostages are coming back, and I hate even saying this from the standpoint, it doesn't sound right, but it is so important to the parents.
00:26:31.360The bodies of the young men, I believe in almost all cases, the young men are coming back immediately.
00:26:41.060I met with parents, and parents felt as strongly about getting the body of their dead boy back as they did as though the boy were alive and well.
00:26:55.060It's so important to them, and it means the immediate end to the war itself, not just Gaza.
00:27:05.180Under the plan, Arab and Muslim countries have committed, and in writing in many cases, but I actually would take their word for it, the people I mentioned, I'd take their word for it, to demilitarize Gaza, and that's quickly.
00:27:22.980Decommission the military capabilities of Hamas and all other terror organizations.
00:27:30.660And we're relying on the countries that I named and others to deal with Hamas, and I'm hearing that Hamas wants to get this done, too, and that's a good thing.
00:27:44.260And destroy all terror infrastructure, including the tunnels, weapons of production facilities.
00:27:51.080They have a lot of production facilities that we're destroying.
00:27:54.060They'll also help train local police forces in the areas that we're discussing right now, in particular, in and around Gaza.
00:28:06.200Working with the new transitional authority in Gaza, all parties will agree on a timeline for Israeli forces to withdraw in phases.
00:30:12.560I guess Hamas took those words seriously as they should have from President Trump, and it looks like a deal is on the horizon, fingers crossed right now, that we can get this thing shored up and finished once and for all.
00:30:24.900So you can add that one to another win column for President Trump, who seemingly just is just continuing to rack up win after win after win.
00:30:35.540But if you really think about it for a second, folks, he doesn't need to be negotiating these peace deals.
00:30:42.600Just looking at it on the broad face, right?
00:30:45.840He's not running for reelection ever again.
00:30:48.380He's going to be probably done with politics after he leaves office in 2020.
00:30:52.840You know, I'm sure he'll play some role in the Republican Party, and I hope to God he does, because he'll be lost without him.
00:31:00.620There's no political upside to President Trump ending all these wars.
00:31:05.540And, you know, it's something I constantly think about.
00:31:09.880It's like, why, with everything we have going on, like, why is he so worried about ending a war in this country or ending a war in this country?
00:31:23.840He's a human being at the end of the day.
00:31:25.520He cares that lives are being lost needlessly and endlessly.
00:31:32.860You know, he's put everything out on the line for this country.
00:31:35.680So it's just mind-blowing to me that a man who's really got no respect, not nearly the respect that he's deserved and the gratitude that he's deserved.
00:31:51.580To constantly go out there day after day after day and help people who have never helped him and do things for people who don't care about him or this country.
00:32:03.580Now, I'm not saying Israel or Gaza before anyone gets upset.
00:32:06.820And I'm just saying, in general, he's out there, you know, helping countries that seemingly have done nothing for America.
00:32:17.060And I think it boils down to President Trump being just an overall very good human being.
00:32:50.860They're absolutely going to own this one.
00:32:52.480President Trump, J.D. Vance and Mike Johnson, among John Thune and other people, met today with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries to discuss the next steps.
00:33:04.280And J.D. Vance and his administration are not caving.
00:33:09.120First of all, we have to keep essential services functioning as well as possible if the Democrats shut down the government.
00:33:13.780And Russ has been tasked with making sure that's possible.
00:34:14.300Now, Speaker Mike Johnson had a very similar sentiment when he was asked about it and doesn't seem like he has any intention on caving either, as he shouldn't.
00:34:22.100Their counterproposal, what Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries are demanding, is that they claw back the $50 billion that we put into the rural hospital support structure.
00:34:33.500We pass that because we have to allow for that.
00:34:36.620Also, if they shut the government down, not only are troops unpaid, federal workers and all the services that everybody relies upon, but the WIC program, the nutrition program, women, infant, and children, they will not get that program, will not be funded.
00:37:00.680Yeah, the Democrats throwing each other under the bus is absolutely – I mean, it's just so funny to see because it's like there's a Spider-Man meme.
00:37:13.280It's like five Spider-Mans all pointing their fingers at each other.
00:37:16.460When I see that meme, I think of the Democrats because they can't figure out who to blame.
00:37:21.560Marvin over on Facebook, there won't be any Democrats to vote in 2026.
00:37:25.720Yeah, they're running far and few in between.
00:37:28.420I mean, you know, I'll tell you as a funny story, it's actually sitting in my office.
00:37:33.900It was given to me by my father every year.
00:37:37.400My grandmother passed away in 2021, August of 2021.
00:37:40.880Every year, she still gets an absentee ballot, and that's in New York.
00:37:44.780So let them continue to tell me that there's no such thing as voter fraud.
00:37:49.260By the way, it's ripped up and voided in my office, but think about that.
00:37:54.900How many other people out there who aren't honest who send that – there's no barcode on that thing.
00:38:00.740Anybody can just go ahead and send in any ballot they're given, and that's a vote, and that's exactly what they did in 2020.
00:38:07.780Charles over on Facebook, standing together for a kinder world, supporting single-parent students and those facing financial hardship type support.
00:38:59.400That is absolutely the plan that looks like it's going to happen because it looks like tomorrow at midnight the government is heading into a shutdown.
00:39:07.040And, folks, as you've heard me say, the Democrats are going to own this one, as they should.
00:39:14.120Folks, that's all for us tonight here on The Great America Show.
00:39:16.680As always, we appreciate you tuning in and joining us for a live show, especially on a Monday.
00:39:20.960Nobody likes Mondays, but with all the good news that's been coming out each and every day with President Trump back in the White House, it makes it easier to wake up and read the news and to get to work, at least me, and hopefully for you guys as well.
00:39:38.760We'll see you back here tomorrow for The Great America Show, where the quest for truth, justice, and the American way continues against all odds and against everything.
00:39:47.640Before we go, I want to give a shout-out to the Gateway Pundit, by the way.
00:39:50.880They gave us a very big shout-out on our show the other night with Stephen Sund.
00:39:56.620We broke some news with former Chief of Capitol Police Stephen Sund and his news that he was never informed about the FBI sending any agents to the Capitol.
00:40:10.660The Gateway Pundit did a beautiful write-up on it.
