00:26:43.100 Let's take a listen in on just what exactly is going on.

00:26:46.920 Mr. President, as you said, you have in front of you an executive order that deals with a number of issues relating to election integrity.

00:26:53.340 As you've consistently identified, two of the biggest problems we have with election integrity in this country are, one, inaccurate voter rolls that allow ineligible people to vote in various federal and state elections all over the country.

00:27:06.660 Then secondarily, you've consistently identified that vote by mail in this country has become rife with fraud.

00:27:13.200 People returning ballots who aren't eligible to return ballots, ballots being sent to people who aren't confirmed to be eligible voters.

00:27:20.700 So what this executive order is going to do is, one, we're going to take federal data.

00:27:25.720 We're going to ensure that each state's election officials are provided with a comprehensive view of who the eligible voters in their jurisdiction actually are,

00:27:34.960 allowing them to properly verify that everybody voting in their elections is legally able to vote.

00:27:40.660 And then it orders the Postmaster General, the U.S. Postal Service to take bold new measures to verify that ballots both being sent to people are being sent to people who are eligible to vote and then the ballots being returned are being properly returned by eligible voters only.

00:27:57.920 And we believe that combined the measures in this executive order will help secure elections in the future and ensure that the many abuses of our election system in the past aren't repeated in future elections.

00:28:08.360 So a massive, massive part of ensuring election integrity.

00:28:17.460 In addition to what was done in the 2020 election with the machines, there was a massive, massive ballot stuffing operation.

00:31:58.480 And we have three purposes now. One is to win the midterms. Two is to make sure the elections are safe. And three, to tell people what we will do when we win. And that is that is the mission.

00:35:41.160 And I don't think the lawyers talk about it as much. Look at when the Civil War ended and look at the date of when this was enacted.

00:35:51.120 It seems like such common sense. So we hope that those judges on the Supreme Court treat it as common sense.
