The Great America Show - The Great America Sunday Show; February 15, 2026

00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody, and welcome to the Great America Show.

00:00:05.120 It's great to have you with us on a beautiful day in America.

00:00:08.260 Just a few moments, we're going to be joined by Congressman Mike Herodopoulos of the great

00:00:11.760 state of Florida to get a take on what's happening on Capitol Hill today and all that unraveled,

00:00:18.480 all that transpired.

00:00:19.660 He's going to be joining us in just a few moments, so hang tight while we get to some

00:00:23.160 big stories that happened today.

00:00:24.900 The mainstream media is in utter disbelief and total meltdown.

00:00:31.520 Yeah, it's that day of the month. 1.00

00:00:33.080 It's where we get the jobs report.

00:00:35.440 And the jobs report for January was absolutely stunning, exceeding expectations by more than

00:00:43.200 double the unemployment rate also ticking down slightly.

00:00:47.420 And it's a great day when the mainstream media has got to go out and they've got to admit

00:00:51.860 that Donald Trump's doing a hell of a job.

00:00:53.820 CNBC, what did they have to say this morning?

00:00:56.260 On farm payrolls for January, coming in twice expectations at 130,000, 130K.

00:01:04.580 That would be the juiciest going back to April of last year when it was 158.

00:01:11.940 Either that guy drank a lot of Red Bull or he's happy as heck.

00:01:15.360 Even CNN was failing.

00:01:18.800 Their ratings are down from 2017, 2025, 40%, 40%.

00:01:24.940 They were even forced to admit the truth.

00:01:28.860 It's a hot jobs report.

00:01:31.300 I mean, there's really nothing in this not to like.

00:01:35.480 You're seeing a lot of sectors that had been softer, like manufacturing, for example, looking

00:01:40.580 better.

00:01:40.900 You're seeing numbers that really nobody expected.

00:01:43.860 And, you know, that's one of the things, actually, that I find quite interesting about

00:01:47.020 this report.

00:01:48.100 The consensus was unusually all over the place.

00:01:51.320 There were a lot of different banks, a lot of different analysts that watched these numbers.

00:01:55.540 Oftentimes, they have roughly the same idea of what's going to happen.

00:01:58.960 That was not true this time.

00:02:00.520 And I think it speaks to the fact that we are in a very unusual moment.

00:02:04.040 So I guess my one caveat, well, I'll give you two caveats to the very good news in this

00:02:10.140 report, is that I would want to see another one, maybe a third, with similar kind of upward

00:02:16.040 trend before I say, wow, yeah, we have a labor market that is, in fact, not softening.

00:02:21.420 It's getting stronger.

00:02:22.920 The other thing I would say, though, is even though this is great news on Main Street, Wall

00:02:27.420 Street likes it, it does make the incoming Fed chair Kevin Warsh's job a little tougher

00:02:33.280 because it's hard to argue now.

00:02:35.180 You read my mind.

00:02:35.900 That was my next question.

00:02:37.040 Hard to argue for a rate cut.

00:02:38.700 Yeah, yeah.

00:02:40.020 I mean, it's a really, really tricky thing because if he had seen a kind of even a flat

00:02:46.440 jobs number, he probably could have continued to argue, well, you know, we might see labor

00:02:52.080 markets softening.

00:02:53.400 Maybe it's a good time for a rate cut.

00:02:54.780 Really tough to make that argument now.

00:02:57.500 I love when CNN's got to admit the truth, folks.

00:03:00.460 It really is such a great day.

00:03:02.700 And earlier today, we're going to be taking up in just a few moments, like I said, with

00:03:06.240 Congressman Mike Herodopoulos, the House Advanced, the SAVE Act, passing by a vote of 216 to 215,

00:03:14.960 one Republican voting against.

00:03:18.400 You're going to have to hang tight for Mike Herodopoulos to come by to figure out and find

00:03:24.320 out who that Republican was.

00:03:27.740 While all that was going on, Attorney General Pam Bondi was up on Capitol Hill, and you

00:03:33.060 guys know who join us on the show each and every day.

00:03:36.560 I'm, you know, not too fond of her, and I, you know, very seldom give her a compliment

00:03:41.620 because of, you know, just based on the job that's been done.

00:03:45.280 But, however, the job that was done on Capitol Hill today was unbelievable, especially when 0.94

00:03:51.000 it came time to absolutely chewing out failed loser attorney, Jamie Raskin.

00:03:58.880 First, you showed it. 0.97

00:04:01.540 I find it.

00:04:02.220 How many have you indicted?

00:04:03.580 Excuse me.

00:04:04.260 I'm going to answer the question.

00:04:05.720 Answer my question.

00:04:06.760 No, I'm going to answer the question the way I want to answer the question.

00:04:10.000 No, you're going to answer the question the way I asked it.

00:04:11.860 Chairman Jordan, I'm not going to get in the gutter with these people.

00:04:14.440 But I'm going to answer the question.

00:04:15.980 How many have you indicted?

00:04:17.260 Again, the time belongs to me.

00:04:18.600 Reclaiming my time.

00:04:19.420 The time belongs to me.

00:04:19.980 I think it's very interesting.

00:04:21.300 Reclaiming my time.

00:04:21.940 I think it's very interesting.

00:04:23.640 You can reclaim your time.

00:04:24.120 The he talks about they indicted.

00:04:26.020 Reclaiming my time, Mr. Chairman.

00:04:26.740 The President said they indicted him twice.

00:04:28.300 Mr. Chairman, please stop the clock and return.

00:04:29.500 They sure did.

00:04:30.260 And he indicted.

00:04:31.120 Oh, okay, here we go with these theatrics.

00:04:33.760 The time belongs to the gentleman from New York.

00:04:36.360 We will give you a few more seconds.

00:04:38.120 We will do that.

00:04:38.720 But when you ask a question, your witness gets to answer.

00:04:41.680 You may not like the answer, but she gets to answer.

00:04:44.040 The question was, how many of Epstein...

00:04:45.660 They don't like the answer, Chairman.

00:04:47.960 Reclaiming my time.

00:04:48.920 Because it's honest.

00:04:50.140 Reclaiming my time.

00:04:50.500 So he asked a four-minute question.

00:04:53.460 Reclaiming my time.

00:04:53.480 Restore 45 seconds, Mr. Navarro, please, Mr. Chairman.

00:04:56.200 And I am going to ask the answer.

00:04:57.300 You can let her filibuster all day long, but not on our watch.

00:05:00.180 Reclaiming my time.

00:05:00.520 Not on our time.

00:05:01.780 No way.

00:05:02.300 Reclaiming my time.

00:05:02.620 And I told you about that, Attorney General, before you started.

00:05:05.260 You don't tell me anything.

00:05:06.140 Oh, I did tell you because we saw what you did in the Senate.

00:05:08.880 He's a lawyer.

00:05:09.540 Not even a lawyer.

00:05:10.440 Committee will be in order.

00:05:11.600 Time and I should get back at least 45 seconds.

00:05:13.500 We will give you a few more seconds.

00:05:14.840 I said that already.

00:05:15.880 45 seconds.

00:05:16.800 Okay.

00:05:17.340 I'm timing right now, Mr. Navarro.

00:05:19.200 All right.

00:05:19.620 My time. 0.97

00:05:21.960 Oh, for the year she called Jamie Raskin a loser lawyer, which he is. 1.00

00:05:26.740 The guy's a total loser. 0.98

00:05:27.760 So is Nadler, who fell asleep, didn't even know what was going on throughout that hearing. 0.99

00:05:34.220 Probably why he's excited to retire at the end of this term.

00:05:38.820 Another one who decided to grandstand was on the Republican side, Thomas Massey.

00:05:43.500 Who seemingly just in the last year started caring about the Epstein victims and the Epstein survivors and the people who were victims.

00:05:52.280 Never cared about it before, but nobody seemingly has asked him the question, other than on Twitter, of why all of a sudden he started to take interest in it now.

00:06:02.760 And I'm going to say, I'm kind of happy that Pam Bondi asked him the question.

00:06:08.300 Why now?

00:06:09.480 Did you ask Merrick Garland that the last four years?

00:06:12.920 Did you talk about Epstein?

00:06:14.600 I am reclaiming my time.

00:06:16.100 I'm glad you're asking about Merrick Garland.

00:06:18.040 You don't get a reclaim time when you don't, when you can't, when I don't answer a question the way you want.

00:06:22.280 This goes over four administrations.

00:06:24.460 You don't have to go back to Biden.

00:06:26.240 Let's go back to Obama.

00:06:27.420 Let's go back to George Bush.

00:06:29.040 This cover-up spans decades, and you are responsible for this portion of it.

00:06:34.460 Now, I want to know, at what point, at what point did the FBI and the DOJ decide that Lex Wessner was not a co-conspirator?

00:06:44.280 Because our Epstein Files Transparency Act requires you, please put it back on the screen, to release the internal decision about whether to prosecute him or not, and it's not in the files, and it's not in the files for any of these other men.

00:06:59.880 The time of the gentleman has expired.

00:07:02.120 May she answer? 0.98

00:07:02.960 And he's a hypocrite because he voted against the ban that we were talking about on deep fake AI porn. 1.00

00:07:10.920 Only two people voted against it, and you were one of them, hypocrite. 1.00

00:07:16.600 Oh, he got burned. 1.00

00:07:19.840 But it's true.

00:07:21.140 We got to call it out on both sides. 0.96

00:07:23.640 Massey never gave a damn about it until Trump, because he's got severe Trump derangement syndrome.

00:07:27.540 Now, if he was consistent through and through, and he chewed out Merrick Garland like that, then I wouldn't be coming after him like that. 1.00

00:07:34.520 But the man is a hypocrite. 1.00

00:07:35.720 He doesn't care. 1.00

00:07:36.800 He's got Trump derangement syndrome.

00:07:38.220 So, folks, as I said, our guest today, by the way, if you're joining us on YouTube, Rumble, Twitter, please be sure to hit that like, subscribe, follow button, give us a thumbs up.

00:07:45.840 Let us know where you're tuned in tonight.

00:07:47.660 Joining us here on The Great America Show, as I said, our guest today, Congressman Mike Herodopoulos of the great state of Florida.

00:07:55.520 Congressman, a delight to have you back on The Great America Show.

00:07:58.460 Always a pleasure.

00:07:59.980 First, I guess I got to ask you, it's Wednesday in Washington, D.C.

00:08:03.920 How was your day today?

00:08:05.780 It's going well.

00:08:06.900 I'm honored to be a part of the United States Congress.

00:08:09.380 It's a challenging situation, to say the least, with our micro-majority in the House, of course, needing 60 votes in too many matters in the United States Senate.

00:08:16.700 But we've made a lot of progress over the last year.

00:08:19.860 I've really enjoyed it by the colleagues I serve with for the most part.

00:08:24.000 And, you know, America is just a much better place than it was a year ago.

00:08:27.500 Our economy has improved and, of course, our position in the world as well.

00:08:31.340 But it's always going to be a challenge taking on the liberals and, of course, the media that backs them every single day.

00:08:37.000 Speaking of the liberal media, I turned on, and this is why I wanted you on the show today, I texted Jillian shortly after.

00:08:42.680 I was up early this morning and I was watching CNN.

00:08:45.080 And I go, hold on, that's Mike Herodopoulos.

00:08:46.660 What the heck is he doing on there?

00:08:48.620 I turned up the volume and I started listening.

00:08:50.240 And I'm like, he's way too high class.

00:08:52.520 He's way too much of a gentleman to be on with these peasants of people. 1.00

00:08:56.240 And you carry yourself with such high regard.

00:08:59.580 I've got to give it to you with being surrounded by those people.

00:09:02.760 We're going to get to what you talked about there first.

00:09:04.880 But let's talk about some of your fellow members that you have sitting up there on Capitol Hill with you, namely one of them, Jerry Nadler, who today, now this is a sitting member of Congress, decided to take a nap.

00:09:19.620 It's very unique because you've never, this committee just started.

00:09:38.300 It wasn't like it was going on for a few hours.

00:09:40.180 If Raskin, who is, you know, his lips are moving, you know what's happening.

00:09:44.140 He's lying.

00:09:45.260 I mean, it's just his sense where you're probably 15 minutes into a committee meeting.

00:09:49.500 I mean, this is supposed to be a big anticipated committee meeting.

00:09:52.520 I just, I guess he lost interest, but it's also probably why he's retired from Congress as well.

00:09:56.840 So give that, my friend.

00:09:58.620 And hey, the weekend is almost here.

00:10:00.340 I get that man a drink or a CPAP machine or something because he's, I mean, it's so embarrassing to think you've got guys like you who are like staple members of Congress, good looking, active, you know, out there doing the work.

00:10:22.380 And then you've got guys with Jerry Nadler who would just, I mean, you wouldn't wish him on your high school gym teacher.

00:10:28.080 And it's so sad to think that this is the establishment, this is the institution that is changing the lives of hundreds of millions of American people.

00:10:37.260 When you've got people there who don't even have the decency to stay awake for meetings, it's embarrassing, Congressman.

00:10:44.080 They want to talk about President Trump being embarrassing on the world stage.

00:10:47.220 I'm more embarrassed by Jerry Nadler wearing his pants up to his neck and falling asleep in meetings than by anything I've ever heard Donald Trump say.

00:10:55.180 Well, like, as we like it or not, America and Congress is representative of America.

00:11:02.540 You've got some tall ones, some short ones, some heavy ones, some skinny ones, and some other ones.

00:11:07.820 And, you know, my take on it is always control what you can control.

00:11:12.340 And the good news is that they are not in power right now.

00:11:15.260 They're doing everything they can to undercut the president, let alone the United States of America.

00:11:19.060 And despite all of that, let's just say, flack, we are moving forward.

00:11:24.320 I mean, think about where gas prices are versus a year ago.

00:11:26.760 Look at where interest rates are down.

00:11:28.540 Look at the fact that there's so many trillions of dollars being invested in America.

00:11:32.300 The stock market's over 50.

00:11:33.820 That means your 401k's probably up 20% over last year.

00:11:37.880 And the border is secure.

00:11:39.180 I mean, these are the issues that we ran on.

00:11:41.500 And so what CNN and everybody else are going to try to do for the remainder of the year is create some kind of chaos that takes people off the ball, away from what really matters in people's lives.

00:11:52.380 And one of those things, Congressman, and it's one of the things you spoke about this morning on CNN, was the Epstein files.

00:11:58.860 The Democrats for the last year have come out, and we're all tired of hearing about it.

00:12:02.780 But at the same time, we all want true justice in the American way. 0.98

00:12:05.840 We want every single one of those scumbags, you know, I heard you mention today about your three children, every single one of those scumbags who preyed on children to have the full extent of law thrown at them to rot in jail for the rest of their lives, if not worse happening to them. 0.99

00:12:20.380 We all want that done. 0.99

00:12:21.720 But at the same time, we know the Democrats don't care about that.

00:12:24.880 They don't care about true justice in the American way.

00:12:27.160 This is an only a ploy to try to get Donald Trump one last time because the Russia, Russia, Russia thing didn't work.

00:12:34.180 Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine didn't work. 0.95

00:12:36.640 Impeachment one, impeachment two, none of it worked.

00:12:38.800 So this is their last dis-effort. 0.96

00:12:40.400 Let's see if we can find out, and let's see if we can fraudulently make up some evidence that Donald Trump is somehow a pedophile. 0.94

00:12:46.140 Okay, didn't work once again. 0.94

00:12:48.120 Their plan failed once again.

00:12:49.400 But you've got Raskin out there saying, well, not all the files are out.

00:12:53.960 Millions and millions of documents are out.

00:12:56.060 People have been exposed like I've never seen before through what we've seen released so far.

00:13:01.060 Would I like to see more redactions?

00:13:02.440 Absolutely.

00:13:02.840 But the Democrats are willing to die on this hill knowing damn well, Congressman, there is nothing there that's going to get Donald Trump.

00:13:13.180 Again, this is just a typical witch hunt.

00:13:15.740 And these people didn't care one iota when Joe Biden was president about Epstein.

00:13:20.460 And if there was anything on Trump, they would have taken him down during the Biden years.

00:13:24.240 We all know it.

00:13:25.160 And that's what I told CNN this morning.

00:13:26.900 It's political theater.

00:13:28.320 They have nothing.

00:13:29.520 The key word is nothing to run on.

00:13:31.740 They think they can run on affordability all day long.

00:13:34.860 I would love to debate the Democrats on affordability all day long and love to talk about what's happening on the border.

00:13:40.680 And we, I mean, Donald Trump and Republicans are the ones who kept the Epstein issue alive so we can expose these awful people who are abusing children across America and not the world.

00:13:51.960 And Epstein was exposed to what he is.

00:13:54.180 He played to people's vanity and ego.

00:13:57.240 And some of these people got sucked into the vortex and did horrible things.

00:14:00.740 And guess what?

00:14:01.960 Whether you like it or not, in the world of 2026, if you did something wrong, believe me, eventually people find out.

00:14:10.020 Everyone's got one of these these days.

00:14:11.960 And people are going to realize that it's the greatest demise.

00:14:15.080 But in this case, it's the greatest thing that ever happened.

00:14:17.420 Because, like I said, everyone who did anything wrong deserves to be exposed.

00:14:20.800 And I've said it from the beginning.

00:14:21.720 If President Trump did something wrong, he should have been exposed as well.

00:14:24.740 But as we well know, he did nothing wrong.

00:14:30.420 What they don't want to talk about is something you just mentioned.

00:14:32.960 The fact that the jobs numbers came out today at one hundred and thirty thousand expected at fifty five thousand.

00:14:38.520 There they go again.

00:14:39.420 They just can't seem to get their Trump derangement syndrome over with blowing expectations.

00:14:44.860 The markets are absolutely soaring.

00:14:46.280 Everything is soaring right now.

00:14:47.800 But they're trying to pull away from it.

00:14:49.780 And in my opinion, they're sort of succeeding because President Trump's poll numbers right now are not as high as they should be with everything that he's done so far.

00:14:58.280 I think it's the obscene thing pulling him down a little bit.

00:15:01.840 How do we get it back on track?

00:15:03.360 How do we get him on track?

00:15:04.880 How do we get this Congress on track to show the American people, listen, we're working for you.

00:15:10.100 When you go to the ballots to vote in November, we are the party of change.

00:15:13.840 We are the party of saving America.

00:15:16.260 We are the party of making America great again.

00:15:18.120 How do you tell the voters, listen, we're not the party that's just going to sit on our rear ends and do nothing?

00:15:22.520 Yeah, my answer is simply that, look, the mainstream media does everything in their power to create chaos.

00:15:27.660 Remember this whole ICE operation everywhere else across the country, other than corrupt Minnesota, which they're trying to hide the football.

00:15:35.960 All these ICE operations are going unimpeded, meaning that law enforcement looks out for these ICE agents.

00:15:42.320 They go in and re-arrest these illegal immigrants, especially if they're violent or sexual offenders, drug dealers, you name it, and they get them out of the country. 0.99

00:15:51.800 In Minnesota, of course, you have these elected officials who not only let them out of jail, they're ginning up their own citizens to basically stand up for criminals.

00:16:00.820 I mean, it's like the world turned upside down, bizarro world.

00:16:04.740 And so what CNN does, and I mentioned the show today, they try to preach chaos, like this is happening all over the place.

00:16:11.360 And sadly, in both these cases in Minnesota, you don't wish death on anyone.

00:16:16.520 What happened there is a tragedy.

00:16:17.980 But these people put themselves in a very dangerous situation.

00:16:21.520 Can you imagine you're an ICE agent?

00:16:23.080 You're trying to re-arrest some violent offender, and then you have these people right in the middle of the action.

00:16:28.740 It's a tense situation, and bad things can happen, and that's what exactly happened.

00:16:33.320 And candidly, I think the Democrats like what happened in the big picture, not to death, but just all this chaos because it works for them politically.

00:16:42.040 Yeah, I think you're 100 percent right.

00:16:44.580 You mean to tell me that you don't own a daycare center down in Florida, none of that good stuff, where you're making a little bit of Skrilla on the side?

00:16:53.080 I mean, I tell you what.

00:16:54.140 I mean, what they are getting away with and how that isn't the number one story, how Waltz is even allowed to walk in publics beyond that.

00:17:01.920 I mean, obviously, again, as you know, I'm the former president of the Senate in Florida, and we have inspectors that go into all these type of facilities.

00:17:11.520 And obviously, if no one's there or they see that learning is spelled wrong, you're going to get a call.

00:17:17.980 They were told by somebody, turn the other cheek, don't look, don't worry about it.

00:17:22.960 And if you do, you've got a problem with your job.

00:17:24.860 That's clearly what happened, and it's happening across the country in the name of politics.

00:17:29.820 And it's despicable because think about how hard people work to pay 30 or 40 percent of all their income in taxes, and a certain percentage are going to these scam artists.

00:17:39.500 It's infuriating, to say the least, and yet the Democrats get away with so much because the media wants to cover for him again, whether it be the dislike of Trump.

00:17:50.060 But let's not forget, this isn't just Donald Trump.

00:17:52.700 Remember, they hated John McCain until when he was running against Obama.

00:17:57.160 I would say hated George W. Bush as being a warmonger.

00:17:59.920 It's just their M.O.

00:18:01.460 Whoever is – even remember, Romney was horrible until he started to go against Trump.

00:18:06.500 This is who they are, and what we need to do is tell people the truth.

00:18:10.800 The economy is better.

00:18:12.320 We're respected around the world, and the border is secure.

00:18:15.160 You want to go back to chaos?

00:18:16.740 Then you put the Democrats back in power.

00:18:18.520 It's that simple.

00:18:19.040 We'll be right back to chaos.

00:18:49.040 New numbers out today.

00:18:50.080 I don't know if you saw these, but from 2017 to 2025, CNN's ratings fell 40 percent.

00:18:57.400 Now, I've worked in the TV business for some time now.

00:19:00.380 I don't want to say a long time, but for some time now, that's a lot of drop-off.

00:19:03.920 That's a lot of money in advertising revenue.

00:19:06.360 I think if it keeps going this way, these people aren't going to be around anymore, and I've got to be honest with you, Congressman.

00:19:11.640 It might not be the worst thing.

00:19:13.080 These are the enemy of the people.

00:19:14.820 These are the people who are stoking the fire for these anti-radical ICE protesters to go out there and stand in front of cars.

00:19:21.900 They're the anti-radical protesters who are out there harming our ICE agents, and they're doing a great disservice to this country and a great disservice to the people who want to protect and serve our country.

00:19:33.040 Well, it's the reason I push back.

00:19:35.060 I actually like going on CNN.

00:19:36.980 I mean, their questions are so sophomoric, and what I try to do is like – I always try to go back to the basics here.

00:19:44.020 You guys are protecting criminals. 0.92

00:19:46.600 I mean, what about those people who have been killed, raped, or murdered by these illegals? 1.00

00:19:52.460 And I brought some of those names up on TV today, and they're the kind of people, if you're playing basketball, you make 19 out of 20 shots.

00:20:00.120 That one shot you miss, they're going to be talking about it for 24-7 is who they are.

00:20:03.960 But I go on these shows because they need the pushback.

00:20:07.180 They live in an echo chamber of liberalism, and they're trying to basically brainwash people to say that things are not as good as they seem every single day.

00:20:15.920 Again, Iran in 2024, I can tell you without question, if you can – if I said what was the most important issue in the entire campaign, people could not believe that illegal aliens were able to walk across the border, come into the United States, and then get subsidized and then sent across to different locations while people who played by the rules would not get any benefits. 0.94

00:20:37.460 So what did we do?

00:20:38.200 We solved the border problem, and now they're not happy with it.

00:20:41.240 Or we're the ones who actually exposed Epstein, and they're not happy with it.

00:20:45.980 I mean, these people are the ultimate backseat drivers who are wrecking America.

00:20:51.320 Monday morning quarterbacks.

00:20:52.940 Exactly.

00:20:54.340 The analogy you used was perfect with the free throws.

00:20:57.520 The one I like to use is that Donald Trump is a failed businessman because he was only 98% successful because he had a casino in Atlantic City that failed.

00:21:04.980 Well, you're not from the Northeast, Congressman, but there's not a casino that's made it in Atlantic City without failing, so he was right in line with the rest of it.

00:21:13.860 Yeah, he's a failed businessman who's a billionaire.

00:21:16.400 Okay, how does that all work?

00:21:18.000 Let me know.

00:21:18.580 Time this up.

00:21:19.520 I'm sure you'd sign up to be a failed businessman.

00:21:21.460 I'm a failed billionaire.

00:21:22.540 All right, there you go. 1.00

00:21:23.500 I'm such a loser. 0.93

00:21:26.040 You'd mentioned the big issue when you ran in 2024 being the border, and I'd agree with you. 0.96

00:21:31.500 I think that was the big issue at the time, but now it seems to be under control.

00:21:36.200 It's a little mishap today where we thought there was a drone from a cartel.

00:21:39.040 I got all excited because I thought President Trump was finally bombing the cartels.

00:21:43.020 It turned out not to be true.

00:21:44.940 The second biggest issue when you were running that I think is the biggest issue now is voter integrity, securing our elections to ensure that the Democrats can never steal another election from us again.

00:21:57.100 Today, coincidentally, the House voted to move the SAVE Act over to the Senate, where, quite honestly, the prospect of it doesn't look bright with the likes of Lisa Murkowski.

00:22:09.420 You had one, maybe some people call him a rhino.

00:22:13.480 Thomas Massey, the only Republican voting against it.

00:22:17.860 Congressman, I look at poll after poll after poll.

00:22:20.180 I do a lot of polling with Mark Mitchell of Rasmussen.

00:22:22.140 Listen, the American people overwhelmingly, it's not just the Republicans, it's the Democrats, too, support election integrity.

00:22:31.080 They support voter ID.

00:22:33.740 Yet John Thune, Mike Johnson got it through his head.

00:22:37.340 John Thune can't seem to get it through his head to rally these people.

00:22:41.700 You and I both know how it works.

00:22:43.860 There's pony trading all day long.

00:22:45.680 You want this, Democrats?

00:22:46.820 That's fine.

00:22:47.500 I want this.

00:22:48.180 Why are the Republicans so against it?

00:22:52.320 Well, it's just shocking to me that we still have four holdouts right now.

00:22:55.980 I mean, this is the fabric of America.

00:22:58.260 It's the foundational element of the entire Republican form of government.

00:23:02.660 As you know, I'm a former history teacher.

00:23:04.600 And when you lose trust in the integrity of elections, you lose the country.

00:23:08.880 And it's not hard.

00:23:10.480 And this is simple stuff.

00:23:12.160 Everybody, I mean, and it's so insulting.

00:23:13.820 And I think it's racist when they call it Jim Crow 2.0 in the reverse.

00:23:17.720 Are you telling me that African-Americans or Hispanic or women can't don't have an identification?

00:23:24.000 Like these people don't go on airplanes or buy alcohol or check into a hotel and get their ID verified?

00:23:30.940 I mean, it's such an insulting comment.

00:23:33.340 It just shows the arrogance of the Democrats and maybe even some of the arrogance of these some of the Republicans who are obstinate to this.

00:23:40.280 What is the problem? 0.98

00:23:41.220 And you and I both know if we try to apply for a credit card, they do a background check on you and they tell you what your freaking nationality is. 0.83

00:23:49.220 It's like, oh, I don't know if we can figure it out.

00:23:51.320 I mean, it's so easy.

00:23:53.100 Hell, hire Amex for a dollar a backup and you got this thing solved.

00:23:58.660 I mean, it's so simple and they make it so complex and gin these people up.

00:24:03.580 Fourteen states don't check ID.

00:24:06.020 And just so happens that that, of course, Donald Trump lost all those 14 states in 2020 and he only won two of those 14 in 2024.

00:24:15.560 So this is the monstrosity.

00:24:18.520 And and what do they do whenever they have a winning issue?

00:24:21.280 They play the race card.

00:24:23.300 It's all they got is their backdoor weapon.

00:24:26.160 And it's getting old.

00:24:27.520 And I think it's an insult to African-Americans or Hispanics or women who they say basically can't figure out how to get an identification.

00:24:34.840 Yeah, I did it with a very big Republican fundraiser maybe a year ago.

00:24:40.220 And what they said to me was so appalling.

00:24:42.100 It was me and Mark Mitchell of Rasmussen that it was like made me sick to my stomach.

00:24:45.800 And we asked this person, he said, so, you know, what's the deal?

00:24:49.040 You know, why can't they get it together?

00:24:51.080 Why can't the Republicans get it together?

00:24:53.140 What this person said was, you know, sometimes it's just easier to raise money in the minority and it's easier to govern while in the minority.

00:25:02.900 So as soon as I heard that, I said, you know, it sort of makes sense why we've allowed these members of Congress to dwindle down.

00:25:10.920 We let Marjorie Taylor Greene leave. 0.96

00:25:12.480 We let so and so leave.

00:25:13.480 It was I guess it was Gallagher from Wisconsin who went to go work for Palantir last Congress.

00:25:18.600 We've let these people leave to chip off, to chip off, to chip off.

00:25:21.660 And the whole thing sort of makes sense.

00:25:23.960 Do you get the sense that maybe Republican leadership, maybe some Republicans just don't care about winning.

00:25:30.220 They just know they have a safe seat and they're like, yeah, well, who cares?

00:25:34.220 I don't sense that.

00:25:35.760 But I'll tell you what, Thomas Massey is it's, you know, he's the fraud of the year.

00:25:40.200 I came to Congress thinking this guy was a big conservative.

00:25:42.940 He, you know, he simply dislikes Trump so much.

00:25:47.320 I don't understand where his positions come from.

00:25:49.860 I mean, these are no brainer issues.

00:25:52.700 I mean, realistically, he's just should declare as an independent.

00:25:55.980 I mean, I think he has high IQ and I'm not questioning his intelligence, but he has no EQ, meaning emotional intelligence, where he just thinks that that it's all about him all the time.

00:26:06.880 And we want to move the ball.

00:26:09.280 We were elected as Republicans to turn around America.

00:26:12.380 We've done a remarkable job with this micro majority. 0.99

00:26:14.680 I don't know how Mike Johnson pulls a rabbit out of his hat most times, but we're committed to doing the right thing.

00:26:21.020 There are some people who want to be, as you put it, Dr.

00:26:23.200 No, that's not my philosophy.

00:26:25.580 I think politics is the art of the possible and we've got to move the ball.

00:26:29.020 And I think we did a great job last year with what we had to work with.

00:26:31.720 And it's really challenging getting 60 votes in the Senate, as you know.

00:26:35.080 And I think we should have whether you either need to get rid of the filibuster or what if I was a leader of the Senate, I used to be the leader of the Senate in Florida.

00:26:43.460 I would just say, OK, you want to have a filibuster?

00:26:45.860 Well, you got it.

00:26:46.520 We're going to sit here and you guys are going to make your points of why identification is not necessary in order to to verify who you are, to make sure the elections are valid.

00:26:58.020 And then one thing I'd also ask, John, remember, is the Democrats in 16 who said the hell, this is a false election.

00:27:04.420 We were not happy in 2020.

00:27:06.240 Why don't you make it where everybody's happy and know that who voted is you should be there.

00:27:10.880 And then the last thing I'll get a little bit historical.

00:27:13.040 And I just want to make sure this is the one point they can never use against this, John, is that they keep on saying, oh, in an article one, section four, states control elections.

00:27:22.440 Yeah, they, of course, conduct elections.

00:27:24.280 But but remember, we have that we have the 15th Amendment, the 19th Amendment, of course, allowing women to vote, the 24th Amendment, eliminate poll tax and the 26th Amendment.

00:27:34.760 Those are all constitutional actions started by a two thirds vote in the United States House and Senate.

00:27:41.200 And then you have like, oh, that's different.

00:27:42.740 That's the Constitution.

00:27:43.600 Well, there's statutory changes we made like 1845.

00:27:47.260 We all said, hey, we should probably have congressional elections at the same time after the harvest and before winter.

00:27:53.120 I mean, that's why we have November elections.

00:27:55.500 Oh, yeah.

00:27:55.780 And by the way, we passed the Civil Rights Bill of 65. 0.94

00:27:58.280 So this this absolute BS about, oh, that's a state thing is not true.

00:28:03.680 The federal government's always had a thing, especially when it comes to legitimate elections.

00:28:08.680 One person, one vote.

00:28:10.260 And they do this again.

00:28:12.160 The race card or BS that they're throwing us that we have to have the debate and make these senators sit around and debate it until we have a real vote up or down on a bill. 0.99

00:28:22.320 I'm all for that.

00:28:23.260 Even if we lose the majority, it's a better way to go.

00:28:25.780 You know, I sat through hours and hours of depositions over the course of multiple days because I was working at Fox News and Fox News got sued by two voting companies. 0.95

00:28:34.740 And I sat there and I spoke to lawyers who were probably two of the dumbest people I've ever spoke to in my life.

00:28:40.120 And it was hard to believe they were probably making a few thousand dollars an hour and I was there for free. 0.98

00:28:43.940 It should have been the other way around.

00:28:46.260 And I knew something was wrong, Congress.

00:28:48.740 So when they're sitting there asking me and they're telling me, don't you agree this was the most secure election of all time that speaking of the 2020 election?

00:28:56.060 And I looked at this lawyer who spent years in law school and, you know, was this savant.

00:29:01.440 And I said, do you think it's funny that you file your tax returns and you can't get a return for at least, you know, two, three months?

00:29:07.700 But the head of SISA came out like three days, four days after election and was preeminent and said this was the most secure election of all time.

00:29:15.740 The election wasn't even done being counted yet.

00:29:18.540 I mean, on their side, of course, it was done being counted.

00:29:20.620 But now we come out and we see irregularity after irregularity after.

00:29:25.100 And a big one was Georgia.

00:29:27.200 And President Trump indicted in Georgia because he said, find me the votes.

00:29:31.460 Yes, find me the votes.

00:29:32.780 Find what were fraudulent votes.

00:29:34.620 There's an 11,000 vote discrepancy.

00:29:36.280 Find me the fraudulent votes.

00:29:38.320 Bam, indicted.

00:29:40.040 And we watched this man be paraded through the streets and mug shot.

00:29:44.080 And now I'm grateful they did it because I think it's what handed him the election this past year.

00:29:49.100 But we need to get some sort of justice, Congressman, for the people who were put through the ringer for simply questioning.

00:29:57.000 This isn't Venezuela.

00:29:58.260 This isn't Cuba.

00:29:59.280 This is America where we have a First Amendment right.

00:30:01.920 And us as human beings have a right to be skeptical.

00:30:05.100 We're skeptical about everything.

00:30:07.560 I mean, everything.

00:30:09.080 You go to a fish restaurant and you said, maybe they didn't get a fish delivery today.

00:30:12.520 It might not be too good.

00:30:13.780 You know, we're skeptical.

00:30:14.600 But when it came time to question elections, when it came time for the Republicans to question the elections, all bets were off.

00:30:21.300 Why does nobody think that's suspicious?

00:30:24.420 Well, again, it goes to, I mean, when the Democrats did all of this back in 2016, they're just protecting democracy.

00:30:31.160 And again, it's just eye of the beholder.

00:30:33.900 And the media sets the rules.

00:30:35.340 And these judges were never really saying that there wasn't frauds in votes.

00:30:39.320 It's just that they were usually processed questions.

00:30:41.480 So, like, this is what it is.

00:30:44.160 And again, if you have nothing to hide, you would want to embrace this type of action, right?

00:30:50.320 And this is what played out.

00:30:52.320 And this is why when you open it up to these different rules they had during COVID, there's all kinds of shenanigans going on.

00:30:59.360 And all I'm saying is, look, we're Americans.

00:31:02.300 Americans decide the future of America.

00:31:05.200 And what they were doing by allowing illegals to come in, allowing them to get driver's license is a backdoor way of undercutting the fabric of our American system and election. 1.00

00:31:14.280 So I think it's an honest debate to have.

00:31:17.140 You know, if they're trying to stop it, they clearly have bad intentions.

00:31:21.700 And I'm going to vote for the Save Act.

00:31:23.440 I'm a proud co-sponsor of it.

00:31:24.840 I want to let know that my vote counts, and I want to make sure that it's one person, one vote.

00:31:30.480 It's a fundamental idea here in America.

00:31:33.600 Congressman Mike Herodopoulos, you get the last word here.

00:31:35.960 I've got to say you're probably one of the most low-key, low-lane, you know, just chilled-out congressmen out there.

00:31:44.120 More guys got to be like you.

00:31:45.520 You get the last word here.

00:31:47.120 Well, thanks as always.

00:31:48.260 And obviously, I'd love to have people follow us on the Internet.

00:31:51.060 We want to overwhelm you with information.

00:31:53.300 We want you to make an informed decision because sometimes people just see the bumper stickers.

00:31:58.180 But I really appreciate shows like yours.

00:32:00.180 It tells the whole story.

00:32:01.660 You're willing to ask the tough questions.

00:32:03.720 And let's have a real debate as opposed to just slogans or reflexively being against the other team because they're on the other team.

00:32:11.340 So thanks as always, John.

00:32:12.280 Great to see you.

00:32:13.140 And we look forward to having you up here in D.C. real soon.

00:32:16.000 Coming soon.

00:32:16.920 Congressman Mike Herodopoulos.

00:32:18.460 Folks, you know where to find him on Twitter.

00:32:20.780 Thanks so much, Congressman.

00:32:21.600 We'll talk to you soon.

00:32:22.220 Look forward to it.

00:32:23.020 Thanks again.

00:32:24.100 Thanks to Congressman Mike Herodopoulos, folks.

00:32:25.820 And thank you all for being with us today here on The Great American Show.
