00:01:18.340 Hello everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs. Welcome to the Great America Sunday Show. Thanks for being
00:01:22.920 with us. A big week ahead for President Donald Trump and his quest to win back the White House
00:01:28.740 on November 5th. The first primary in the nation is Tuesday. In New Hampshire, a decisive win for
00:01:35.060 President Trump will almost certainly end the Republican primary process. Big donors stop funding
00:01:41.820 their loser candidates and people in later primary states who are supporting DeSantis or Haley will
00:01:48.260 likely stay home because they know it's over. Personally, I'd prefer these primaries keep going
00:01:54.040 all the way through. President Trump gains immensely from it. The national Marxist media has to pay
00:02:01.580 attention to him, his polls and his results in the primaries. President Trump crushes the wannabe
00:02:09.080 rivals. His poll numbers go higher as the Marxist medias go lower in their coverage. And I believe
00:02:15.560 voters are loving these Trump victories. We don't have to hear the braying experts of the commentariat,
00:02:22.420 the so-called political analysts who are really just pushing their favorite candidate or cause.
00:02:27.880 Let the voters speak. And when they speak, I love it. I don't love the Bidens, by the way,
00:02:33.080 Hunter Biden's sugar daddy and Hollywood lawyer, Kevin Morris, telling House investigators in a
00:02:39.020 closed-door deposition that he had, quote, no ulterior motive in mind when he developed a
00:02:45.760 financial relationship with Hunter Biden. It's worth noting, since meeting Hunter in 2019,
00:02:52.460 Morris has paid Hunter's IRS debts. He reportedly loaned him about $5 million for housing, car payments,
00:02:59.780 legal fees, and you know what else. Morris also took control of Hunter's 10 percent stake in a
00:03:05.880 Chinese state-backed fund, BHR Partners, but no ulterior motive, says Morris. Congress avoiding
00:03:13.640 a government shutdown by passing a stopgap funding bill until March instead of a full budget.
00:03:19.400 Speaker Mike Johnson, who's been nothing short of disappointing, wouldn't sign on with Chuck
00:03:24.640 Schumer on border funding this time. That's a good thing. There's hope.
00:03:28.840 We'll revisit the issue in March. Our guest today is Congressman Andy Biggs. He sits on the House
00:03:35.020 Oversight Committee and the House Judiciary Committee, where he is the chairman of the
00:03:39.760 Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance. Congressman, great to
00:03:45.420 have you back with us. Let me start with the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, who apparently has this
00:03:51.160 time stood up and taking a strong stand against the Lankford border plan from the Senate. Your thoughts
00:03:58.500 about Speaker Johnson and what looks like to be a, well, a rare adherence to principle.
00:04:05.680 Well, yeah, I mean, in the House, if he were to go against that, there'd be a massive revolt because
00:04:12.540 that plan, the Lankford plan is so bad, Lou, and I think, I don't know if you want to get into it,
00:04:18.680 but it's just really a bad, bad plan. But here's the deal. Okay, so I view Mike Johnson as a golden
00:04:26.060 retriever. He's like a golden retriever. This isn't going to end well, isn't it?
00:04:30.900 We happen to have a golden retriever in my house, and this golden retriever, like all golden retrievers,
00:04:37.120 very nice, very kind. Everybody loves the golden retriever. Everybody wants to pat it, and the dog is so
00:04:43.320 obliging. But you can't get the darn dog to fight, you know what I mean? If you wanted, it wouldn't fight
00:04:49.360 to save itself. But occasionally, it'll kind of raise its paws and do something. And thank goodness
00:04:57.340 that the Speaker is raising his paws against the Lankford plan. Because other than that, you know,
00:05:03.200 the dog, a golden retriever likes to get his belly rubbed and roll over and that type of thing.
00:05:07.940 And unfortunately, we have a Speaker who's kind of like a golden retriever right now.
00:05:12.560 Well, I'm sure he's going to appreciate the metaphor. And I have to say, I can't imagine how
00:05:21.980 you could have had two speakers in a row who were having so much trouble with their own courage,
00:05:29.080 with their own set of principles, which I wouldn't would have expected to reflect the principles of
00:05:35.960 the conference. I don't understand what is going on in the House of Representatives.
00:05:42.220 or your conference. What's it going to take? I guess what I'm saying is, you can't be a very
00:05:48.900 good leader if you can't follow. I've always believed that axiom. He was apparently a cherished
00:05:55.560 follower. But he also can't lead, apparently. I don't understand the issue.
00:06:02.100 Well, you know, I'll take it back in, you throw Paul Ryan in there, and you had three.
00:06:06.760 Oh, boy.
00:06:07.740 You had three guys that really took us to the wrong class. Let's go back to John
00:06:12.100 If you go back to John Boehner, at least John Boehner, on a few things was willing to say,
00:06:17.120 this is where we're going. We're not going further. And nobody in this conference,
00:06:20.900 and he would fight, he would lead, you know, on a few things, right?
00:06:23.360 But I just, I'm stunned by it myself, you know. But I'm going to tell you something that I've
00:06:33.660 decided, that I think I've realized, it's taken me a while to realize it. These guys that are the
00:06:40.360 leaders, the speakers, they actually reflect the conference. I'm sad to say that. But I got to
00:06:47.180 believe that they reflect a significant number of the conference. They don't reflect me, of course,
00:06:52.580 and they don't reflect, oh, I would say, a third or more of the conference. But they seem to
00:06:59.060 represent enough of the conference to be able to get elected, these guys. And that's the saddest part
00:07:09.020 for me is, is not that he is not leading, but that he may actually be, quite frankly, he and McCarthy
00:07:17.300 and Ryan, they may actually have reflected the conference, though I never felt that they were
00:07:24.580 reflecting me or my constituents. Yeah, I guess there is that. And that is a sorry, sorry situation.
00:07:32.900 I can't understand how people in your conference can say, you know, the border is in crisis and then go
00:07:40.940 back to their offices and and just do business as usual without taking on the issue. Why? Why is there
00:07:48.080 any question in the minds of people? I don't care whether rhinos are conservatives. The reality is that
00:07:54.880 border is under the control of the Mexican drug cartels and the Chinese communists who are making
00:08:01.020 or mixing up all of the fentanyl. This isn't complicated stuff. Either you, you deal with
00:08:08.160 that reality and stop funding it, but don't sit there and whine about it or talk to your just your,
00:08:14.660 you know, do a little radio and TV pieces for your constituents complaining about it. And then go ahead
00:08:22.700 and fund the appropriations. Just, you know, it's all fine. We'll give you a continuing resolution.
00:08:28.440 How about an omnibus? You can spend life at Dickens until as long as you want. This is a,
00:08:33.920 this is purely hypocritical, deceitful and gutless. Yeah, I view it as being a really cynical
00:08:42.100 approach to governance. So, so what they do is they, they, they have a big deal down on the border.
00:08:48.720 Okay, we got to do something. And then they say, we're going to need to get some new policy,
00:08:52.580 right, Lou, as if policy is going to change it. Policy will not change this. This is a lawless
00:08:57.880 administration. Even if they sign something into law, this administration knows they're going to
00:09:02.900 gamble on a couple of things. Number one, that nobody's going to sue them when they don't enact
00:09:07.640 that policy. And if somebody does sue them, that it's going to carry out past the next election,
00:09:12.560 right? So, so they really don't mind because the next election between now and then you'll have 5
00:09:17.200 million illegal aliens will have come in. My position is go ahead and shut the government
00:09:21.740 down. But we have, you cannot believe the number of people in our conference that are scared to
00:09:25.760 death. If you say the word, shut the government down because they say, oh, I won't ever get elected
00:09:30.000 again. Well, at some point you have to say, let's shut the government down because we happen to care
00:09:36.940 about the country more than we even care about our own next election. Right? So, so today I'll give
00:09:43.280 you a heads up. I'm introducing legislation today to protect against this, this, the short,
00:09:49.880 the shutdown scaredy cats. And what it does is it says, you know, first of all, you and I both know
00:09:54.560 Medicare, Medicaid, social security, that keeps getting funded anyway. There's already a statute
00:09:58.060 on the books. So my bill says, okay, but we're going to keep funding the vets, the armed forces,
00:10:03.480 ICBP, the air traffic controllers and TSA. But other than that, we're not funding anything.
00:10:08.760 We're not going to fund anything. And then, and then you can go back and say, we funded
00:10:13.900 80% of the government. We funded the things that have to be funded to protect our rights,
00:10:19.160 our military, et cetera. But we're not going to fund the Green New Deal crap or the FBI spying on you.
00:10:25.740 We're going to stop that until the border's enforced. Well, let me just say, hallelujah.
00:10:31.580 We're talking with Congressman Andy Biggs. We're coming right back to learn more about
00:10:35.560 his legislation. Stay with us.
00:10:41.700 Lou Dobbs here. I'm delighted to let you all know that the program Lou Dobbs Tonight has returned to
00:10:48.220 the air. That's right. Lou Dobbs Tonight is back. We're live each and every weeknight at 7 p.m. Eastern
00:10:56.940 and 6 p.m. Central on rumble.com slash Lou Dobbs. That's rumble.com slash Lou Dobbs.
00:11:05.440 I hope you'll be joining us for Lou Dobbs Tonight as our fight to save this country has only begun.
00:11:18.380 We're back now with Congressman Andy Biggs. And Congressman, tell us what you intend and what
00:11:24.960 you think will be the result, the response of the conference. Well, so what I'm intending to do is
00:11:31.240 take away the argument that we can't do a government shutdown to save the border, save the country by
00:11:36.280 closing the border. So I'm saying, OK, well, if you're afraid of that, let's fund the things that
00:11:41.340 we have to have veterans, military, et cetera. And then we won't fund this other garbage, this
00:11:47.840 bureaucracy that's run amok, that's destroying the country anyway. And we won't begin funding any of
00:11:53.520 that until there's actual border security enforcement, not policy, but actual enforcement
00:12:01.600 where you're turning people away at the border or you're you're maybe you're removing people finally
00:12:05.420 from from who are illegally in the country. I think I'm trying to take away that argument,
00:12:10.280 but I'm also trying to say the only leverage we have is the purse strings. And so if you do those two
00:12:16.780 things, I think we have a shot. The speaker has actually presented my my plan to to a significant
00:12:24.020 portion of the conference. I've gotten positive feedback. But the reality is you have some people
00:12:32.420 who said absolutely no, no way, no how not going to do it. We got new start programs. We've got a fund
00:12:40.440 for the military industrial complex. And we're not going to set those aside for six months until we
00:12:46.320 secure the border. We got to have that. I mean, I understand their arguments, but they don't
00:12:52.520 understand the existential crisis at the border. I don't think they understand the American people
00:12:57.160 either. I mean, this right now, Donald Trump coming off a huge win, a historic win in Iowa and in the
00:13:05.740 Iowa caucuses on his way to New Hampshire, where he's going to be battling toe to toe. John Sununu,
00:13:12.420 who, you know, this this snarky little attack dog for the rhinos, love beloved everywhere by the
00:13:19.660 establishment. And that it's going to he's going to crush them there as well. He's going to be the
00:13:25.880 next the next president, I believe firmly. How in the world can this conference be such a so mealy mouth,
00:13:34.260 so gutless failing to adhere to basically America first policies and MAGA, because that's obviously
00:13:42.860 what the American people want. Joe Biden has the lowest approval ratings of any any president in
00:13:49.520 modern history. And President Trump is scoring out historic victories in the primary process.
00:13:56.820 And, you know, the Congress isn't held in high esteem either by the American public.
00:14:02.160 I just can't see how these forces don't coalesce around. Let's do the right thing. That should be
00:14:09.320 the mantra for everyone. Yeah, that's my that's what I've told the speaker. I've expressed myself
00:14:14.360 to the speaker very clearly. I said, look, your budget plan is it is a disaster because, you know,
00:14:20.520 for me, I won't get into it unless you want me to. But I told him, I said, you're just going to be
00:14:24.940 over. It's going to be almost unanimous from the Democrat side. And you're going to lose 70 to 100
00:14:30.440 votes on the Republican side. And so that's a big, huge, embarrassing defeat. Why not at least
00:14:36.520 do a plan like mine or a plan where you're bending the trajectory of spending down and solving the
00:14:43.320 border problem? And then if you lose some some of our more moderate type types in the in the House,
00:14:54.040 and they say, well, we're going to go with the Democrats and pass our own bill out. At least
00:14:58.460 you would have stood up. At least you would have done it on principle. At least you would have shown
00:15:03.260 that there is a distinction and that being a Republican actually means something. And being
00:15:08.060 an American first Republican means something. At least you would have demonstrated that because
00:15:12.860 we're going to probably lose one way or the other. Why not lose with dignity, honor and fight
00:15:18.800 and responsibility and a sense of responsibility to the nation, to the Republic, to the American
00:15:26.020 people. You know, I was just thinking maybe you ought to have a banner. Give courage and principle
00:15:32.020 a chance. Just simply that. Put it, you know, over the entrance there. I guess you can't put up too
00:15:39.920 many banners in the House. But, you know, I don't know. You know, we're sitting here. I'm laughing
00:15:46.580 about it. But it's laughing at the absurdity that we have 435 members of Congress and frankly,
00:15:56.060 a tragic, pitiful handful like you who are willing to stand up for the country. You've got people
00:16:03.780 running from their elections, running from their donors. They're scared to death of their shadows,
00:16:08.740 and they're wanting to come across as big, tough, bad, you know, principled Republicans.
00:16:16.160 They're not. They're what you said. I mean, they're milk toast and marmalade.
00:16:22.940 Well, there's certainly...
00:16:24.100 You don't mean to offend marmalade, but there it is.
00:16:26.180 Yeah. You know, I happen to like marmalade. Go easy on the marmalade, will you?
00:16:29.560 And actually, I like milk toast. That was a comfort food, Lou. Come on,
00:16:33.580 you're killing my comfort food. But anyway, when you start looking at this, I'm often baffled by
00:16:39.780 it because I'll see people write stuff and they'll say, some of my colleagues will say,
00:16:44.700 these guys just, they're here to yell and scream. No, we're not here to yell and scream. We're here
00:16:49.120 to affect change. And that's why we introduce legislation to affect change. That's why we fight
00:16:55.440 on the floor. That's why we use the tools of procedure to try to slow things down. That's
00:17:01.540 like we did last week. Twelve of us stand up and say, we're not going to let you bring this to
00:17:06.160 the floor. They can't understand that. And I'm the one who's baffled because I don't understand
00:17:11.940 how you can't fight. How you can't fight. This gets back to the golden retriever thing. I mean,
00:17:16.980 I got this golden retriever. Everybody wants to pet the golden retriever, but it's a big enough dog
00:17:22.260 to fight. And so I find myself just saying, why don't you want to fight? Why don't you want us
00:17:27.960 fight for the country? And they just think I'm outrageous, I guess. Well, and speaking of people
00:17:35.160 yelling and all of this, I've never heard you raise your voice. I don't think any of your colleagues
00:17:39.340 have. It would be my bet. And I just really can't understand why logic, reason, and facts don't
00:17:49.220 present themselves meaningfully to these members of the Republican conference who are, they're really
00:17:56.040 worse than rhinos, but let's call them rhinos and give them some little credit. It's a sad thing to
00:18:03.320 watch. Yeah. Think of it, Lou, think of it this way. If you're in New York and you have a district
00:18:09.740 that Biden won by a few points or maybe a lot, I don't know. But Democrats, independents, and
00:18:15.940 Republicans all care about two issues, number one and two. They care about the border and they care
00:18:20.040 about the economy. And what is devastating New York City right now? It is certainly the border
00:18:28.360 issue has come right up to New York City or Chicago or Detroit and all these places.
00:18:32.860 And they're puking. The economy is also touching them.
00:18:36.600 Coming up now, Donald Trump is roaring full speed ahead into the primaries. America's Mayor Rudy
00:18:42.940 Giuliani. Up next with his take, stay with us right here on The Great America Show.
00:18:50.040 Thank you for staying with us on The Great America Sunday Show. Joining us now, as promised,
00:18:59.420 America's Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Rudy, thank you for being with us. Let's start with what's going on,
00:19:05.000 first of all, on the campaign trail, because I'm still excited about that huge victory for President
00:19:10.360 Trump in the Iowa caucuses because it shut up a bunch of idiots in the left-wing media. A historic win,
00:19:17.120 more than doubling the previous record margin of victory. Your thoughts about it, Rudy?
00:19:22.380 Well, my thoughts are, this is so ridiculous that, you know, they really, they really want to run
00:19:29.080 against him, right? You bet. And why do they indict him four times if they want to run against him?
00:19:37.040 You don't indict somebody four times that you want to run against. I mean, it's totally ridiculous. He
00:19:41.620 frightens the living daylights out of them. That's why they're trying to hijack New Hampshire now by
00:19:47.560 bringing in all kinds of Democrats to vote. I mean, last week, they were registering Democrats
00:19:53.380 as Republicans. They had up until Friday of last week to do that. And now they can get the
00:19:59.700 independent-leaning Democrats to vote in the Republican primary. That's the only chance they
00:20:04.680 have to narrow it. Among Republicans, Trump is probably beating them both by the same amount,
00:20:09.780 30, 35, 40 percent. So it's pretty clear the Republican Party wants Donald Trump as their
00:20:17.500 standard bearer and their candidate. And I don't know why Nikki Haley and DeSantis are trying to aid
00:20:27.000 Joe Biden, who is clearly demented in being elected president again.
00:20:33.100 Yeah, he's, his impairment is obvious to all who pay any attention at all. Even a glance will tell
00:20:39.320 you that. And as to why, why Governor Ron DeSantis wants to be made fun of for another week is beyond
00:20:50.360 me. Nikki Haley is a distant third from the president. Yeah. And she's acting like she is
00:20:57.440 some sort of hope for the Republican business establishment. It's just crazy. I hope she does
00:21:05.160 better in New Hampshire on what the causes of the Revolutionary War were than she did on the causes of
00:21:13.600 the Civil War. And, you know, she's in the state that per capita lost to most people in the Civil War.
00:21:19.240 And I believe it or not, that one really hurt her there. I mean, couldn't be a worse place for that
00:21:27.460 kind of an ignorant statement. Yeah. Ignorant is the word and ignorant she was. But what I can't
00:21:35.260 figure out is why she thought there was any other answer but slavery. I mean, they're just, what kind
00:21:42.160 of decision treaty you go through to come up and leave out, I'm going to leave slavery out of the Civil
00:21:47.320 War. It was mind boggling. But, you know, she also pulled another good one, Rudy. And that's when she
00:21:53.700 said that she changes personality depending on the state she's campaigning in. I can't, truth speaks
00:22:01.600 loudly, but that thing was roaring across the country. Sounds like Hillary when she tries to put
00:22:08.740 on like a black accent. I'd rather. Well, at least she stopped short of that, at least as far as we
00:22:15.240 know. And as we look at the president, my gosh, Rudy, we've both known him a long time. This man
00:22:23.400 has got stamina. We knew that. He has got courage. He is strong as a bull. But what he's going through,
00:22:30.860 what is he? He's in Iowa. Then the next thing he is in the courtroom. Then he is back
00:22:37.560 to New Hampshire campaigning. He does a rally that last night. And here he is, fresh as a daisy.
00:22:46.360 You know, I probably know that part of him as well as anyone since I spent virtually 24 hours a day
00:22:52.240 with him for four months in 2016. I used to worry about him. I don't anymore. He thrives on this.
00:22:58.440 I mean, he gets better. It's the strangest thing. And it's absolutely true. The more pressure,
00:23:05.140 the better he gets. And he's improving, if that's possible. His speech the other night was one of
00:23:10.720 his best. His rally the day or two before it was one of his best. And I was there at the first one.
00:23:18.580 So I can rate them all. I mean, he's getting, if it's possible, he's getting better.
00:23:23.080 Yeah, he is. And you know where he showed me how much better he's gotten?
00:23:27.180 And he's in the courtroom with a judge who's just issued a gag order against him. And he can't
00:23:34.060 say anything about anything. And he had a list of about a dozen things, starting, of course,
00:23:38.040 who didn't want him talking about him at all. And he takes control of the closing arguments in the
00:23:45.040 trial that Ingeron is running like a kangaroo court or a Soviet style show trial. And he just,
00:23:52.260 he wipes the place clean of all of the BS and pretense and says, you know, I'm an innocent man
00:23:59.960 and you guys are a bunch of crooked fools. And he was right.
00:24:03.320 Yeah. Now look at what's happening in Georgia.
00:24:05.960 That thing is turning out, it's like falling apart completely with, it looks like there's a chance.
00:24:12.880 I mean, these are only allegations, so we'll have to say they're only allegations.
00:24:16.060 And they're presumed innocent. But so am I and the president, by the way, presumed innocent.
00:24:20.640 They're prosecuting us.
00:24:21.880 Yeah, that worked out well, didn't it? Right?
00:24:23.540 The two alleged lovers there want to put us in jail for the rest of our lives.
00:24:27.420 And it is somewhat annoying if this is true, that they were making a fortune
00:24:31.440 on trying to destroy us falsely. You know, it's one thing for it to be politics, but
00:24:36.880 stealing all this money. And the emphasis really should be on the stealing of the money,
00:24:41.860 not their love affair, if there was one. That's a lot of money they were taking for very,
00:24:46.640 very nice vacations. And they had an extra grand jury that wasn't necessary.
00:24:52.380 That first grand jury that I appeared before couldn't recommend an indictment.
00:24:57.680 Now, I know something about grand juries. I never heard one that couldn't recommend an indictment.
00:25:02.700 So my guess is that was to kind of build up the expenses, get it from $300 to $600 or $700.
00:25:10.660 All right. Well, $700,000 is what we're going to talk about next, because that's part of the
00:25:17.820 fascinating set of subjects within this story. Fannie Willis, her special, I call her very own
00:25:27.140 special counsel. We'll be taking that up with Rudy Giuliani in just a moment. Stay with us.
00:25:35.260 We'll be right back.
00:25:35.940 Lou Dobbs here. I'm delighted to let you all know that the program
00:25:43.100 Lou Dobbs Tonight has returned to the air. That's right. Lou Dobbs Tonight is back. We're live each
00:25:51.380 and every weeknight at 7 p.m. Eastern and 6 p.m. Central on rumble.com slash Lou Dobbs. That's
00:25:59.940 rumble.com slash Lou Dobbs. I hope you'll be joining us for Lou Dobbs Tonight as our fight
00:26:06.900 to save this country has only begun.
00:26:14.060 We're back now. We're talking with Rudy Giuliani. And Rudy, the Fannie Willis affair,
00:26:22.700 I guess we could call it the Fannie Willis scandal. She is in a world of trouble. And her,
00:26:29.920 I think you want to call him, I call him special counsel, Mr. Wade, what do you call him?
00:26:37.140 Very special.
00:26:38.080 Very special. I think we'll go with yours because very special seems to be where he was. He's making,
00:26:45.520 this is a guy who doesn't really have a record of excellence or accomplishment in law. In fact,
00:26:51.540 he's never tried a federal case in his life. And somehow he's making over $600,000 consulting
00:26:58.440 the district attorney who is sponsored, of course, by George Soros.
00:27:03.700 Well, he's actually was brought in for a highly unusual grand jury. He was brought in for a grand
00:27:10.860 jury before the grand jury that could recommend to the grand jury, which accomplishes two things.
00:27:17.500 It doubles the expenses. So there's more money for vacations, allegedly for Fannie and her very
00:27:23.800 special counsel, but it also pushed the case over into the election year. So you got to watch that
00:27:31.280 special grand jury very carefully now. And this probably was done with consultation with the White
00:27:37.160 House because the very special counsel who knows nothing about RICO, nothing about felony prosecutions,
00:27:43.600 it's got to know something about politics. It goes down to the White House for two meetings with the White
00:27:49.560 House, I think, counsel. So I've never I've never heard of the case being coordinated with the White
00:27:55.600 House counsel's office. So what do you think they were coordinating about? Well, it worked out for
00:28:01.460 everybody. They they made allegedly lots of money so they could go to very fancy places and they got to push
00:28:09.120 right into the election year so they could interfere with the election. So it was like two for one for
00:28:14.520 the Democrats there. And they could have boosted those that leverage, too, because if if Fannie and
00:28:20.680 her very special counsel on those lavish vacations and to those extravagant bills that they were getting,
00:28:28.820 you know, if they were actually deducting that vacation because they were discussing the case,
00:28:34.820 I mean, that would be quite a remarkable. Well, we'll have to see. I mean, I do think the case has
00:28:40.360 to be dismissed. How about a legal theory like it stinks? Like said again, it's the high heaven of
00:28:47.860 corruption. I mean, it's but of course, what would you expect from Atlanta and Fulton County? I have
00:28:53.040 said from the very beginning, going back to the election cases and everything else, they picked
00:28:58.800 very crooked Democratic cities to play their games. And Fulton County would fit right in there.
00:29:06.540 And that was typical of Fulton County. And I don't know where the hell the governor is,
00:29:10.560 except he's out of the country right now. Yeah, he's in Davos. I mean, you don't want to have
00:29:14.740 Oh, yeah, he's in Davos. And meanwhile, his state is reeking of corruption.
00:29:19.840 Yeah, reeking of corruption. And by the way, there is a hearing that's going to be held as early as next
00:29:24.780 month on Fannie Willis and specifically on the issue of her very special counsel and where that
00:29:34.400 money went. And we haven't even talked about that 14 and a half, well, $14.6 million that was a
00:29:41.400 Department of Justice grant to her office, the district attorney's office in 2020. And where did
00:29:48.640 that money go? Was it being used to go after Rudy Giuliani, 16, 17 others had President Trump?
00:29:58.080 It's interesting that it lasted for three whole years now. And that this is very expensive. As you
00:30:04.400 said, one grand jury is expensive, two gets to be lavish. Yeah. And I, you know, excuse me,
00:30:11.440 a little personal resentment, just they want to put me in jail for the rest of my life. Yeah.
00:30:14.720 For doing nothing wrong but being a lawyer. It's a little extraordinary. They don't ever look that
00:30:20.720 it looks like the real allegations of crime are the prosecutors, not the people they're prosecuting.
00:30:26.220 Have you ever seen the like? I mean, the prosecutors, whether you're talking about DOJ
00:30:30.940 prosecutors, whether you're talking about Fannie Willis and Fulton County, whether you're talking
00:30:36.100 about Letitia James, the attorney general, the Manhattan district attorney for crying out loud.
00:30:42.940 This is outrageous. It's on its face. It's coordinated.
00:30:48.580 Yeah. Yeah. I mean, look, I keep pointing out Garland would not have picked Smith if he wanted
00:30:53.740 an ethical prosecutor. Smith has a record as an unethical prosecutor documented by a nine nothing
00:30:59.240 decision of the Supreme Court in which he was excoriated for prosecuting the governor of Virginia,
00:31:07.480 who then turned out to have his case thrown out nine nothing after his career was ruined.
00:31:13.000 So now if you're looking for a squeaky clean prosecutor, you don't go pick a guy with a record
00:31:18.400 like that unless you're looking for a guy to fix a case for it.
00:31:21.660 Yeah. How do you get a special counsel, a prosecutor that's ethical and clean when most of the prosecutors,
00:31:31.140 I would guess most of the criminal division of the Justice Department have been used up going after
00:31:36.700 American citizens, overcharging them absolutely outrageously so that more the D.C. district
00:31:43.700 courts can then over sentence them and keep them in jail in perpetuity without a trial date as of three
00:31:49.820 years after the event. They've done it. They've done they've wreaked havoc on the Justice Department,
00:31:55.880 starting probably with Holder and Obama. That's where I really I think my my friend and former
00:32:04.480 colleague Mukasey was probably the last real attorney general. Thanks, everybody, for being with us here
