The Great America Show - The Great America Sunday Show： June 15, 2025

00:00:00.000 hello everybody welcome to the great america show it's great to have you with us on this beautiful

00:00:06.300 thursday night in america last night the marxist dems faced off against the republicans the party

00:00:13.180 of truth justice and the american way in the congressional softball game the marxist dems

00:00:18.180 getting absolutely annihilated 13 to 2 top of the first inning i'm sorry bottom of the first inning

00:00:24.140 marxist dems up at bat bases loaded two outs august pfluger at third base take a watch what

00:00:31.080 happened the democratic shortstop pretty much played everywhere last year catcher known for

00:00:38.280 making great contact oh robbed at third what a play

00:00:43.220 great defense there by august pfluger diving stop goes to the bag gets the runner ends the inning

00:00:52.300 gets out of the jam absolutely awesome baseball i told you we'd have some fun tonight and how

00:01:00.420 about augie what a move there stab dive done we're back with the bottom growing up in new york i was

00:01:09.260 always a big alex rodriguez fan and august pfluger made that play look far too easy as i said the

00:01:15.060 marxist dems losing 13 to 2 their star dan goldman let's take a look and see what he did last night

00:01:20.240 one ball and two strikes here on dan goldman from new york and a swing and a miss that will end the

00:01:28.860 inning the democrats threaten but do not score seven to five the republicans

00:01:34.140 greg stewby there hitting them with that uh 25 mile an hour change up uh not able to handle the heat

00:01:41.680 uh you know i always learned in my years of playing sports especially baseball the trust fund babies who

00:01:47.620 had the nicest bats and gloves were never usually the good ones hence mr dan goldman but after

00:01:52.620 watching that 13 to 2 defeat it made all the more sense to me why the marxist dems want men in women's

00:01:59.560 sports uh 13 to 2 i guess it speaks for itself also happening this afternoon at the white house earlier

00:02:06.860 this afternoon the white house picnic president trump invites the marxist dems and the republicans to

00:02:13.520 all congregate bring their family their friends everyone gets a few tickets uh ran paul having a

00:02:19.380 little bit of a mini meltdown yesterday because he says he was uninvited to the picnic let's take a

00:02:24.880 listen to ran paul from my office and um you know it's kind of a great time of the year in the summer

00:02:30.920 my family comes up uh my son and daughter-in-law and grandson are coming up because we were going to

00:02:36.280 the white house picnic but i've just been told that i've been uninvited from the picnic i think i'm the

00:02:41.680 first senator in the history of the united states to be uninvited to the white house picnic uh the

00:02:46.480 white house is owned by the taxpayers we all are members of it uh every democrat will be invited

00:02:52.100 every republican will be invited but i will be the only one disallowed to come on the grounds of the

00:02:56.280 white house i just find this incredibly petty i mean i have been i think nothing but polite to

00:03:03.700 the president i have been a intellectual opponent a public policy opponent and he's chosen now to

00:03:11.300 uninvite me from the picnic and to say my grandson can't come to the picnic i just just the level of

00:03:18.260 immaturity is beyond words i just i you know i've been here long enough that if anybody has ever

00:03:26.660 followed me i've been a critic of obama i've been in a critical biden i've been in a critic of the

00:03:31.440 previous trump but always in a i think a reasonable fashion along policy and so they've decided they

00:03:41.220 they want to declare war on my family and exclude us from the white house and i just think it's

00:03:47.160 incredibly petty so it turns out rand paul comes out does that whole little song and a dance

00:03:53.440 and donald trump says that's not even true rand paul reportedly heard it through a streamline

00:03:58.920 somewhere hearsay that he was uninvited president trump tweeting out before the picnic this afternoon

00:04:05.380 that he's happy to have rand paul there because it'll give him some time to speak with the senator

00:04:10.380 about getting him on board with the bbb the big beautiful bill so uh these nonsense from these 0.99

00:04:17.660 republican senators it's just so unnecessary the crying the nonsense you know i get a lot of crap 0.94

00:04:25.200 on this show when i go after thomas massey or or rand paul but the truth of the matter is i'm just 0.82

00:04:30.460 reporting the news and that's the news there was really no reason for rand paul to come out there

00:04:35.240 and do that whole song and a dance he mentions he's a trumper he's not really a trumper he waited

00:04:40.580 till the last minute till donald trump had secured every single vote that he knew donald trump was

00:04:45.520 going to win and then came out and said he endorsed him i mean that's that's not a supporter and his big

00:04:51.220 critical issue by the way is on tariffs he doesn't agree with donald trump on tariffs in april he went on

00:04:57.920 fox news with tim kane yes the same tim kane uh senator from virginia that ran for president with

00:05:03.820 hillary clinton take a listen but on the tariffs in particular on the idea of trade trade is proportional

00:05:09.140 to wealth the last 70 years of international trade has been an exponential curve upwards and the last

00:05:15.300 70 years of prosperity has been upwards also we are richer because of trade with canada and so is

00:05:22.980 canada whenever you trade with somebody when an individual buys somebody else's product it's

00:05:28.280 mutually beneficial or you wouldn't buy it if the trade is voluntary it's always beneficial there is

00:05:34.540 no canada versus the u.s the consumer wins when the price is the lowest price okay so his problem

00:05:41.440 main problem with president trump is on tariffs right but the numbers came out just yesterday for may

00:05:47.560 inflation is at its lowest point since 2020 now ran paul for the last few months has run around saying

00:05:55.060 that donald trump is going to drive inflation through the roof and that consumers in america

00:05:58.880 would be paying 125 percent more on certain products that never happened here's some of the

00:06:04.280 numbers that came out for the month of may gas year over year is down 12 and a half percent

00:06:08.700 smartphones are down 14 percent uh fuel oil is down eight percent airfare is down seven percent public

00:06:14.820 transportation is down five percent leased vehicles is down four percent energy is down three and a

00:06:19.580 half percent vegetables down two percent hotels down one percent price of eggs goes on and on and on

00:06:25.920 so if ran paul is a man of principle come out and say you were wrong because you were wrong

00:06:31.760 if you're a man of principle and you you you are what you say you are and that you just oppose

00:06:37.660 donald trump because you're practicing what you preach then come out and admit that you were wrong

00:06:42.900 that's all you have to do to be a man there's no need for passive aggressiveness going out there

00:06:50.440 and doing all that nonsense it's so necessary so ran paul i think is the lone gop standout

00:06:58.480 on the big beautiful bill scott bessen was on capitol hill yesterday discussing the big beautiful bill

00:07:03.660 take a listen the one big beautiful bill will make the 2017 tax cuts permanent this will provide

00:07:10.260 individuals and businesses with certainty and build economic momentum the legislation is clearly

00:07:16.600 clearly and squarely aimed at boosting the working and middle class and reinvigorating american

00:07:22.740 manufacturing according to the council of economic advisors the one big beautiful bill will raise

00:07:28.840 take-home pay between seventy eight hundred and thirteen thousand three hundred for the average family

00:07:34.400 of four it will increase wages between six thousand one hundred dollars to eleven thousand six hundred for

00:07:40.740 the average worker and it will cement no tax on tips no tax on overtime and tax cuts for seniors

00:07:46.880 the one big beautiful bill will also incentivize unprecedented unprecedented investment in u.s manufacturing

00:07:54.140 the legislation will provide a hundred percent expensing for new factories as well as existing

00:07:59.960 factories that expand operations and support made in america and it will streamline burdensome

00:08:06.140 permitting processes that often stand in the way of new manufacturing products it's time for this country to

00:08:12.560 start building things again and the one big beautiful bill makes this possible the administration is

00:08:18.380 grateful for the house's efforts to advance the one big beautiful bill we now look forward to working

00:08:25.060 closely with this committee and other members of the senate to get this legislation to the president's desk

00:08:30.860 simple why would ran paul be against that now i'll agree it's not everything that we wanted it's not

00:08:39.320 the tax it's not the cuts that we want not tax cuts but it's not the cuts and spending that we wanted but

00:08:43.800 nothing is ever going to be perfect especially in this uh congress that we have congressman green

00:08:50.560 announcing uh mark green announcing he's going to be leaving congress in the next two weeks

00:08:55.780 brings the majority down even more because these people are so selfish he probably got himself a 0.98

00:09:01.360 nice high-paying lobbyist job so i guess we can't blame him right truly truly ridiculous president trump 0.98

00:09:07.480 was at the kennedy center last night for a play a broadway play he was asked about some of these 0.86

00:09:14.220 actors and boycotting him brilliant response as usual mr president it's been reported that some actors

00:09:20.460 may be boycotting i couldn't tell us honestly all i do is run the country well the economic numbers

00:09:27.000 you saw them today they're setting records we took 88 million dollars in tariffs in two months

00:09:32.880 far beyond what anybody expected there's no inflation people are happy people are wealthy

00:09:40.020 the country is getting back to strength again that's what i care about and we're going to have a

00:09:44.760 safe country we're not going to have what would have happened in los angeles remember

00:09:48.340 if i wasn't there if i didn't act quickly on that los angeles would be burning to the ground right

00:09:55.560 now he's absolutely right los angeles would look right now like minneapolis looked in the summer of

00:10:02.740 love if you don't believe me watch what happens to some of these insurrectionists who think that

00:10:09.760 they're going to go after police officers and ice agents

00:10:11.900 whoa stop

00:10:25.660 jesus you just hit me

00:10:28.620 i just got hit with the left lethal i'm okay

00:10:39.920 that's what the kevlar is for i have kevlar tights on under my pants

00:10:44.960 it's a news reporter there you hear us yelling stop stop stop we'll get out of the line of fire

00:10:49.880 you just watch this insurrectionist throw a bottle at the at the police officer you should

00:10:54.620 be yelling at him and great on that that american citizen who spearheaded that guy and absolutely

00:11:00.980 t-boned and laid him out we're gonna take a quick break here folks when we return ronda santis has an 1.00

00:11:06.380 idea on what we should be doing with these protesters also elon musk says he's sorry but is it too late

00:11:13.840 now to say sorry we're gonna be joined by my good friend and radio legend rich valdez on the other

00:11:21.780 side of this quick break folks stay with us

00:11:23.420 thanks for staying with us folks so ronda santis down in florida and i'm very critical of ronda santis 0.97

00:11:34.700 very often because of how he opposes donald trump and behind the scenes opposes donald trump

00:11:39.980 but he's got a very good idea i must say and i've got to give credit where credit is due

00:11:44.700 let's take a listen on what government santis has for these insurrectionists and we also have a policy

00:11:50.700 that if you're driving on one of those streets and a mob comes and surrounds your vehicle and

00:11:56.680 threatens you you have a right to flee for your safety and so if you drive off and you hit one of

00:12:02.560 these people that's their fault for impinging on you uh you don't have to sit there and just be a

00:12:08.900 sitting duck and let the mob grab you out of your car and drag you through the streets you have a right

00:12:14.460 to defend yourself in florida sounds like everyone in florida needs to do exactly what i did go out and

00:12:20.360 buy yourself a jeep wrangler put some big tires on it and a uh one of those cattle herders on it

00:12:25.780 just in case people decide to get out of control uh great on governor de santis no american should

00:12:31.560 live in fear because of these insurrectionists who want to destroy our country folks as promised

00:12:37.200 our guest today is my good friend and new york city radio host syndicated radio host i should say

00:12:43.000 not just new york city rich valdez with an s what's up john rich there's so much to talk about and we're

00:12:51.040 going to get to it all today but i got to start with first the summer of love it's happening all over

00:12:57.120 again but it seems that it's going to be cut just a little bit short because of what do you call

00:13:02.200 donald trump el trumpito donaldus magnus so what what say you uh rich uh listen i'm hoping that

00:13:10.360 the summer of love is cut short i can't believe that there are people out there i've had so many

00:13:14.840 messages and texts from our friends from folks on the right uh hitting me up saying i can't believe 0.98

00:13:21.040 trump's being such an a-hole he's crazy i can't believe he's sending the marines and i thought to 0.94

00:13:25.600 myself man i don't i don't see it that way at all uh i mean you know i interviewed um somebody on my 0.98

00:13:32.100 show a couple of days ago he was in the rodney king riots back in the 90s and he was explaining how

00:13:38.620 back then they were saying the same exact thing president uh then president uh hw bush had used the

00:13:45.300 insurrection act to bring in uh the the national guard and sent in i think it was something like a

00:13:51.020 thousand marines and uh not a word of that in the media so i think the media like always they're full

00:13:57.540 of it they're fake they're phony they're fraud um i i think they're not doing enough i think we need 0.55

00:14:02.120 to get them a little more power and and get a little more aggressive and really put this thing

00:14:06.080 down i don't understand why we're not using water cannons why we're not you know macing uh en masse

00:14:11.100 you know we need to get this thing wrapped up and wrapped up quick and and the idea that you're

00:14:16.240 stifling somebody's free speech when they're pelting people with frozen projectiles rocks bricks

00:14:22.060 whatever i mean that's an all-out war and that can't be tolerated yeah how many people should die

00:14:27.540 how many innocent americans should die because of these illegals that come here they're rich it's it's 1.00

00:14:32.820 so black and white at the end of the day you're here illegally it doesn't matter what you're here 0.73

00:14:37.620 to do if you're one of these people who's a gangbanger or you're you broke the law you came to this

00:14:41.660 country i understand that that all of us have a heart right but at the end of the day we're a

00:14:46.580 nation of law order and borders if we don't abide by that then really what is america rich what what

00:14:52.740 difference is america from uh venezuela or or cuba or columbia or you know one of these other nations

00:15:01.540 i was reading something today rich in london uh more than 50 percent of their public housing

00:15:07.660 is occupied by illegal migrants is that what we're supposed to be listen john the reality is this 0.98

00:15:15.200 isn't about logic and it never was uh the left will find any think just think about past arguments

00:15:20.620 summer of love they were breaking and killing people and burning things and looting all in the

00:15:25.500 name of what honoring the the martyrdom of george floyd it didn't make sense then it never makes sense

00:15:31.440 the reality is this is the marxist left looking to divide and conquer looking to create an oppressor 0.99

00:15:36.620 an oppressed uh scenario every step of the way so they can continue to build uh a movement for

00:15:42.660 themselves that if without the emotion and without uh a a presumed bad guy they don't have a movement

00:15:49.720 so they need to constantly keep making things up yeah you're absolutely right but the difference is

00:15:54.840 this time rich is i'm not going to say the media is fair because they'll never be fair towards

00:15:58.240 donald trump but the media this time around i think learned some of them learned their lesson

00:16:03.680 we watched terry get fired the other day for his comments that's what it should be you're supposed

00:16:08.200 to be in now if you're on fox news and you're an opinionated host after the hours of 6 p.m or

00:16:13.880 whatever okay if you're on cnn and you're rachel maddow that's fine you run opinion-based shows

00:16:19.320 you have your audience that tune in they're either marxist dems or they're republicans okay yeah but

00:16:23.940 when you're terry moran you're supposed to be a cbs journalist you're not opinionated on air

00:16:30.400 off air you're allowed to believe whatever you want you're not supposed to come out here and

00:16:33.600 and and lay out your opinion on the american people you're supposed to be a news reporter

00:16:37.080 and that's what you are that's the difference between cbs and fox news and cbs and abc this time

00:16:42.440 around donald trump i think is getting a little bit more of a fair shake from uh the mainstream media

00:16:48.060 i'm not going to say it's 100 turnaround but i think he's getting a little bit more of a fair shake

00:16:52.460 what do you think you know i mean that's probably a true statement but i don't think it's because of

00:16:56.940 anything that they're doing i think it's twofold one one side of it is trump holds their feet to

00:17:02.280 the fire he literally has the masses and the ability to reach the masses through true social

00:17:07.280 through multiple media outlets so i think they've realized wow um he can get the message out irrespective

00:17:14.220 of our lies and then b the other side of that coin is they've realized well you know uh part of it is

00:17:20.480 if you can't beat him join him right you know it's like we need this guy we need to talk about

00:17:25.340 orange man bad because he's good for our ratings and without us talking about him they would love

00:17:29.520 to ignore him i think they just can't afford to ignore him the crazy thing rich is how accessible

00:17:35.360 of a person he is i saw uh the other day he called gavin newsom at two o'clock in the morning hour time

00:17:41.160 so now you rewind back three hours for the west coast time change called gavin newsom once he

00:17:46.620 enhanced the phone called him again spoke to him for 16 minutes whatever he said to him we don't know

00:17:51.860 but he gavin newsom says he that i never spoke to donald trump it was all a lie john robertson fox

00:17:57.260 news texts donald trump on his cell phone hey did you speak to gavin newsom donald trump texts him

00:18:02.520 back a screenshot of the conversation i've never seen in my life rich a politician let alone a president

00:18:09.600 of the united states so transparent and so easily accessible to the american media as donald trump

00:18:17.720 well you know i mean again you know you and me are both new yorkers when i was a kid in brooklyn

00:18:22.140 i remember you know i love trump i thought trump was terrific way before any politics i was just he's

00:18:27.080 he's a pimp he's a playboy he's the man he's in every rap video he was just a cool dude i love the

00:18:31.780 apprentice and he was always that guy and he understood the media he understood what it was to 0.92

00:18:36.940 be famous he gets that and he's really good at it he's good at managing the media like a famous

00:18:42.700 person that's something i think that the uh the others don't have that luxury no politician they

00:18:48.100 work hard and hire pr firms and say crazy things just to get a little ink in the press so trump gets

00:18:54.280 it for breathing and and i think he uses that to his advantage every single day and he's a master at it

00:18:59.700 so i think that's a big part of it the other part of it is that he truly is entertaining and and and

00:19:05.780 why wouldn't you want to hear that and i think the last part is he's a businessman and those that's

00:19:11.780 how those guys work you know they're like oh i'm building this the guy says that the the quotes

00:19:15.320 coming in higher he's like no hold on that's bs i got the screenshot right here on my phone

00:19:18.780 right that's how regular people in the private sector work and he's never abandoned that to

00:19:23.700 to cross his legs and take a deep breath and act like a real stuff suit politician say well you know

00:19:29.440 let's see maybe we can figure a way around this what's the most diplomatic solution he cuts out all

00:19:33.820 the bs and gets straight to the point which is why i'm a huge fan he's just a normal dude rich

00:19:37.880 i've been around him i had the the honor and pleasure to be around him a lot over the last

00:19:42.540 uh eight years nine years i mean on the golf course with him i've watched him in locker rooms in golf club

00:19:49.940 locker rooms in his golf clubs just strike up conversations i'll never forget i'm in trump

00:19:54.220 jupiter in in florida and there's a guy sitting down on the couch watching television locker room

00:19:58.680 and trump goes up to him and like starts strikes a conversation with this guy like he's just a man's

00:20:03.580 man a down-to-earth guy and which is why like it annoys me so much that the mainstream media just

00:20:08.800 doesn't give this guy a fair shake he's a normal dude a fast food eating diet coke drink new yorker

00:20:15.340 and they do not give this guy if they gave this guy a fair shake rich i think things can be so much

00:20:20.520 different in this country there can be so much more unity but you know what we're what's the saying

00:20:24.440 we're delta we play with the hand that we're dealt not the one we choose is what it is now there's 0.97

00:20:30.100 some marxist damn governors which of course this is not making the news because it doesn't benefit 0.97

00:20:34.300 them uh um waltz pritzker and newscom they're in the process right now rich of removing illegals now 0.99

00:20:42.980 i'm all for this i think that it's a great job but it should be broadcast they're in the process of

00:20:47.240 getting rid of uh state-funded health care for illegals why is there no riots about that right right 1.00

00:20:55.280 where's the riot on these guys well again i think they're just they're they realize we're losing

00:21:00.760 federal funding we can't really continue uh these games that we're playing through our the s chip

00:21:05.980 program right the state child health insurance program and other similar programs that come from

00:21:10.540 federal block grants and and largely from from other grants that come from the feds so they've got to

00:21:16.060 figure something out and again what do they do what did newsom do right he said oh my gosh there's

00:21:19.980 chaos in the streets this is trump's fault uh cameron bass uh this is trump's fault 0.58

00:21:24.440 they're blaming trump for the chaos in their streets even um again it's sad to say but i i get

00:21:31.160 these pitches for guests on my show uh that i know are conservative that i know are uh you know

00:21:36.980 republican leaning at at worst and the things that are in the pitch the things that say like you know

00:21:42.920 given that things have gotten worse since donald trump sent the marines i'm thinking i don't think

00:21:47.080 they're getting worse i think that they're being judicious and they're not using a very heavy hand

00:21:51.500 to make sure things don't get worse but it's just amazing to see how many people are are really uh

00:21:57.560 i'm gonna say deep state right you know closetedly against um doing the right thing when it's trump's

00:22:04.300 idea if it was somebody else's idea i think they'd be all for it yeah my favorite thing is is watching

00:22:09.280 these riots and these loots and of course they go looting they go shopping i i mean i guess you

00:22:13.840 really can't blame them at the end of the day they're criminals for looting but why wouldn't you go

00:22:18.000 shopping for free if you can if nothing's going to happen to you rich and someone tells you you can

00:22:21.900 go to the apple store and take as much as you want to go to the adidas store and you go to they always

00:22:25.820 this is the best one to me is they always go to cvs what are you stealing from cvs deodorant

00:22:30.420 dirt bags really you're going to cvs like what the hell are you stealing from cvs so that's always my 0.51

00:22:37.200 the funniest one to see um but you know what if he didn't send in the marines rich i think that city 0.93

00:22:42.640 would have been burnt to the ground if he didn't send in the national guard i think they would have

00:22:45.900 started to burn that city to the ground just as they've done sure minneapolis just as they've

00:22:51.300 tried to do in new york city and to eric adams's credit uh new york has not i have a lot of friends

00:22:57.640 who are police officers here new york has not seen anywhere near as bad as what california is seeing

00:23:03.160 right now because of uh eric adams and him allowing ice to come in here and start detaining some of these

00:23:08.680 people i've got to say hats off to the marches dems in new york well listen i mean eric adams

00:23:14.520 overstate is welcome with the marxist dems his friends don't like him anymore so i think you

00:23:18.860 know he realizes that his only shot is is um trying to ingratiate himself with trump and to have trump

00:23:25.140 say hey you know i'm not going to say to vote for you but i won't say not to and um you know and just

00:23:31.300 on that election i was looking at some numbers curtis lee was doing great he's above 30 percent it's a

00:23:36.640 four or five way race uh it looks really good for him i mean brian lair ero lewis these are big time

00:23:42.440 lefties uh saying sliwa has a solid shot to getting into gracie mansion so uh it seems like the tide is

00:23:49.320 turning in new york and thank god for it you know one thing i can say and you know this as good as

00:23:53.560 anybody uh new yorkers can be all sorts of political uh stripes but most of them don't take bs from a lot

00:24:01.120 of people and this stuff i don't care what side of the fence you're on you see that and you're like

00:24:05.720 bro you don't do that and and that's that crazy california marxist stuff that's pouring over into

00:24:10.380 the city and it's got to be rejected yeah i i have to assume a lot of people who don't like being

00:24:15.580 what for doing this show is is probably because of my brashness of being in new york and it's not

00:24:19.980 something we can really control rich it's like right and you can't even explain what it is it's just the

00:24:24.960 way you're born the way you're brought up and the way you're raised you're raised to be street smart

00:24:30.100 you're raised to be street tough uh because of you know what new york is it's not exactly the easiest

00:24:35.280 place to live there's parts of new york that are probably worse than some of the worst parts of

00:24:39.260 haiti or dominican republic or or cuba or or venezuela you know it's just the way it is so

00:24:45.140 you know i think we're brought up a different way than you know most people uh throughout the country

00:24:50.940 are and now is it a good thing i'd say it's probably good in some senses and it's probably

00:24:54.780 better because we're more brash uh i first talk later exactly and we're more really honest than

00:25:01.740 we probably should be uh so you know that's what we get for being new york but like i said

00:25:06.980 hats off to um to eric adams for allowing this to go on uh biden's border patrol chief uh raul ortiz

00:25:15.380 was on fox news the other day and he says that there's more than 20 million illegals in this

00:25:19.460 country right now this is something we've all known it's probably close didn't hear it while he was in

00:25:24.640 office no why is it now this is like the same thing rich we're hearing from jake tapper now that he's 0.90

00:25:30.180 got a book out that biden was uh not mentally fit well no shit sherlock we all do that you know john 0.79

00:25:37.640 a lot of people i've learned when i worked in government are willing to trade a lot for a pension 0.91

00:25:44.180 and a paycheck yep and some will and some won't and i'm not going to criticize those that do but i

00:25:49.820 think that's usually the answer you know they look at their wife they look at their kids and they say

00:25:53.220 ah i can't let these people down um i couldn't ever do it i mean i spent uh two years maybe a

00:25:58.880 little more in in um in the state house in trenton new jersey and in a republican administration but the

00:26:05.200 democrats the deep state there is so powerful i mean they're everywhere for every one republican

00:26:09.380 there's like 10 democrats and it's hard to do anything and if they don't want you they get rid of

00:26:14.280 you they'll figure out a way and and you realize you're totally outnumbered and in many ways it's why i do

00:26:19.800 what i do where i can reach more people on the outside than i could ever reach on the

00:26:23.180 inside of government but it it's a sad truth that pension and a paycheck hold a lot of people

00:26:28.440 hostage yeah it's uh speaking of paychecks the houses have voted to advance some doge cuts for

00:26:35.660 npr pbs and usa id expected to go to the house floor later today or tomorrow it's about time this

00:26:43.340 is we're going to get to elon musk right after this but it's about time that these these republicans i

00:26:48.720 mean they've sit there i was in dc last week rich and i had some meetings with some members of

00:26:53.140 congress and you know i brought mark mitchell of rasmussen you know mark uh down with me and

00:26:59.460 mark's not a stupid guy he's probably one of the people i know yeah extremely high iqed individual

00:27:07.680 and i'm just watching mark's reaction to him sitting in these meetings with me and uh he was 0.93

00:27:14.480 just aggravated and annoyed and he's not an easy person to aggravate he's just a very easy dude to hang

00:27:19.960 out with and that's the general sentiment in dc and i asked these people these members of congress

00:27:26.360 some of them very very very high up do you guys want to lose 2026 like what are you guys doing

00:27:32.060 to advance winning in 2026 and rich i can't think of one of them that had a straight answer for me that

00:27:39.640 this is what we're doing the truth is hard to tell sometimes john but i think of it like you know

00:27:46.400 it's your first day of school and new school big tallest kid in the school yard comes up to you

00:27:51.540 starts bullying you and you think to yourself this guy's gonna wipe the floor with me what do you do

00:27:56.480 you swing as hard as you can for his jaw you know to prove your own to say look i took him on

00:28:01.520 maybe he wins maybe right i think that's what they're doing they're like we can't beat these guys

00:28:05.760 people want their paychecks to to look bigger people want no tax on tips people want this stuff

00:28:10.900 they're crazy but they want it so now their only job let's continue burning stuff down let's do as

00:28:16.600 much damage as we can on the way out they're getting evicted from their home and they're like 0.86

00:28:20.700 you know what sure let's uh go ahead and pour cement into the drain and steal the copper pipes and ruin

00:28:27.140 this thing for the next guy and i think that's what the democrats are doing it's complete sabotage

00:28:30.880 only new yorkers know about the copper pipes rich we're gonna lose a lot of the audience on that one

00:28:36.220 sorry guys the copper pipe thing is uh is a big new york thing that uh back in the day and i think

00:28:42.620 it probably still happens today is people steal copper pipe uh and they sell it because it's worth

00:28:48.480 a shit ton of money i have a buddy rich who owns a uh sell site tower upgrading service and he stores 0.62

00:28:54.580 all the copper pipe in his garage till it gets like two hundred thousand dollars and then he goes and 0.85

00:28:58.860 sells it he buys himself a new car there was one problem is he told too many people that he was doing

00:29:03.900 this he robbed him one day he got in there and his g-wagon wasn't in there and neither was the

00:29:08.340 copper piping so it's a it's a big big big uh new york thing

00:29:13.520 rich we're gonna get to elon musk because there's so much to talk to about there and

00:29:22.460 the fallout he had with donald trump but now he's sorry all of a sudden best inflation numbers since

00:29:27.960 2020 rand paul in my monologue i pointed out you know always crying about these numbers thomas

00:29:34.060 massey another one thomas massey by the way voted to raise the debt ceiling for joe biden back in

00:29:38.960 2023 for him to go on and keep spending spending spending under kevin mccarthy kevin mccarthy was

00:29:44.580 ultimately ousted for it um so these people claim to be fiscal conservatives but they're not always the

00:29:50.380 case but rand paul nonetheless says that donald trump was going to kill this economy things were going to

00:29:55.740 go down the drain because of tariffs some of the numbers gas prices down 12 and a half percent year

00:30:00.520 over year smart fuel oil airfare uh eggs democrats wanted to talk about eggs for some reason right

00:30:06.020 everything is down under donald trump and we have the highest tariffs rich that we've had in my

00:30:12.480 lifetime at least on these nations so which one is it is donald trump driving this economy into the

00:30:18.360 ground or is he have does he have it prospering and and rip roaring yeah well look i think the last

00:30:23.660 tariff number i saw is 88 billion dollars um nothing to sneeze at the um the the last four

00:30:30.480 months have shown pretty steady um uh growth on everything right on on 4.6 growth on the economy

00:30:38.040 the um the cost of goods has not gone up at all pretty much stayed flat the last four months which

00:30:44.060 everybody thought they're going to pass on the price of tariffs to the consumer that also did not uh pan

00:30:48.800 out to be the case and you look at that gas continues to be consistently low uh inflation numbers

00:30:54.780 consistently low and i think sometimes you got to take a gamble to see the result and i would put my

00:31:01.300 money on trump not because i like trump but because trump was president already and did this already and

00:31:06.000 he he knows what's going on and if you look last night they announced the uh the framework for the china

00:31:10.520 deal uh 55 is going to be what china's paying i think we're at 10 uh that sounds like a really good

00:31:17.880 deal to me it sounds like they negotiated it really well and great bringing china i'm going to say

00:31:23.660 bringing china to their knees because as much as we need cheap chinese plastic and dollar store items 1.00

00:31:28.640 and whatever do we really need all that i think we could live without it if we're faced with knowing

00:31:32.900 that we're funding one of our biggest enemies so i think uh trump has been right across the board

00:31:38.060 um certain things maybe he wasn't right on uh like how quickly he could end the ukraine war and i think

00:31:43.420 that was a little bit outside of his purview these guys are adamant about killing each other and i think

00:31:47.560 they're more adamant about staying in war because the war machine makes the money so with that being the

00:31:54.360 case for both of them they don't care about the the lives they're losing they care about all the 0.93

00:31:58.780 investment they're getting in in defense and they're going to keep killing yeah two numbskulls putin and 0.94

00:32:06.100 and zelinski both i don't know what the heck is wrong with those people but there's something 0.74

00:32:10.120 seriously wrong with both of them enough is enough get this thing over with man there's really no sense

00:32:15.380 in in this war to be fought over absolutely nonsense get it over with be done with it and move on

00:32:21.540 and uh nato's got to cut out their nonsense let's talk about elan musk is it too late to say sorry

00:32:27.760 i'm gonna test my spanish out here es tarde para pedir pardon yeah that was really good uh yeah i

00:32:35.880 don't i don't know if it's too late or not i think there was a lot of people on the strength of trump

00:32:40.580 out of love for trump that were like i don't like elan musk he's a silicon valley weirdo but we'll get

00:32:46.220 on board i wasn't necessarily one of those um wasn't a fan but i wasn't a hater um i tried to invite

00:32:53.620 him on my show a few times never responded so i'm less of a fan now but i think you want to give us

00:32:59.380 his phone number we can have the audience reach out yeah yeah give him a call guys text him for me

00:33:04.020 but ultimately i think uh elan musk i think maybe believed that because he has a lot of money and a

00:33:11.040 lot of you know twitter followers or whatever the case is that he was somehow more popular more

00:33:17.440 powerful than trump and i don't think that's the case at all and i think his um apology um is is

00:33:24.800 proof of it i also think president trump's reaction people like to say trump is this and trump is that

00:33:29.180 trump took it like a champ and just said oh it's too bad you know whatever made a couple of matter

00:33:33.480 of fact statements but they weren't childish i thought they were presidential and um and i was i was

00:33:39.380 proud of it honestly to tell you the truth and and i think uh elan musk for whatever the case was

00:33:44.520 why he did what he did i have no idea but i don't think it was a good move i think you're you're

00:33:49.120 better off having an ally in the white house than not and i think he blew it yeah donald trump this is

00:33:54.960 one of the the few times where we saw donald trump take the high road he usually will hit back but i

00:34:00.980 think he actually does truly feel bad for elan musk donald trump was his only friend you don't see

00:34:06.380 elan musk out here he's an oligarch for sure but usually the oligarchs hang together he's the outsider

00:34:10.920 they don't like him for whatever reason it's weird or whatever but they didn't like him before

00:34:15.080 donald trump either so it's not just because he's friends with donald trump that that they don't like

00:34:19.400 him it's something probably deeper than that um but the guy's got no friends donald trump was his

00:34:25.940 only friend and donald trump time and time again this is what annoys me so much rich is he gets

00:34:30.520 backstabbed he does all this stuff for these people he does all this good for these people

00:34:34.320 and they stab him in the back it's like enough's enough and and you can't even tell him like did you

00:34:40.060 learn your lesson now because you can't you know why it's because no risk no reward yeah i think

00:34:47.320 trump understands that i'm gonna take a risk on these people each and every time because there's

00:34:51.900 too much upside to be afraid of the downside i don't think you're as successful a man as he is

00:34:56.620 uh unless you really put that aside and say let's do it and the reality is most of us aren't

00:35:02.120 that uh risky right most of us go nah too much downside i'm not involved i think trump is that guy

00:35:07.480 let's give it a shot see what happens yeah it's risky there's nothing more risky than opening a

00:35:13.560 casino in atlantic city donald trump did it and that's what you often hear about when the on the

00:35:17.860 left rich yeah he's a failure he failed at uh uh opening a casino in atlantic city okay well you
