00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Fossett with this Great America Show midday update for Thursday,
00:00:04.140 March 20th. Happy Thursday, folks. The weekend is almost here. Ukraine seems like they don't 1.00
00:00:09.500 want a peace deal. They don't want a ceasefire with Russia. Continuing their bombings, Ukraine 0.95
00:00:14.480 has bombed the Russian airfield 435 miles from front lines where Russia houses nuclear bombers
00:00:20.400 in their largest drone attack yet, folks. The strike ignited a massive explosion and sent
00:00:25.920 huge blasts of fire in the air at Angles II Air Force Base in Russia. Now, it's unclear what
00:00:32.740 Zelensky's motive is here. President Trump has been working on a ceasefire deal with Vladimir Putin,
00:00:39.040 but it doesn't seem like Zelensky wants that at all. According to Reuters, Russia's defense
00:00:44.700 ministry said air defenses had shot down 132 of the Ukrainian drones over the Russian regions.
00:00:50.520 So as of right now, it's unclear what Vladimir Zelensky wants, but he's playing with fire.
00:00:55.920 Just a few miles to the east or the west, whichever way you decide to travel, there's some problems
00:01:02.000 here at home. The city of Los Angeles is bracing for layoffs of thousands of municipal employees
00:01:07.260 due to, ready folks, a budget crisis that is said to be inevitable as the city is reeling from recent
00:01:13.380 wildfires and still preparing to host the 2028 elections. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that
00:01:20.420 the financial problems exploded into a full-blown crisis this week, with the city's top budget
00:01:25.100 official announcing next year's shortfall is now just shy of a billion dollars, making layoffs
00:01:30.660 nearly inevitable. The city administrator and advisor to the city council says they need to
00:01:34.720 start focusing on cost-cutting measures, including potential reduction of size of workforce, to bring
00:01:40.200 in the budget for 2025 and 2026. It seems laying off employees in Los Angeles is just the small piece,
00:01:48.420 just the tip of the iceberg of their problems that they have in that Marxist-run city.
00:01:55.700 And while we're talking about California, we might as well continue to talk about California, right?
00:02:00.520 Budweiser's parent company, Anheuser-Busch, has canceled their San Francisco Pride sponsorship.
00:02:06.820 The beer giant, you remember, lost over $27 billion in market value in 2023 after partnering
00:02:11.920 with the transgender influencer, Dylan Mulvaney, and became the target of a conservative boycott.
00:02:18.140 Other companies, including Comcast, Smeardoff, and wine company La Crema, have also withdrawn
00:02:23.380 their sponsorship, resulting in a reported loss of approximately $300,000 in funding for that
00:02:29.380 Pride parade in San Francisco. Anheuser-Busch cited financial constraints as a reason for pulling
00:02:34.260 its support, a reason echoed by others withdrawing sponsors.
00:02:37.860 Folks, it's a new dawn, it's a new era, the indoctrination and the forcing of our folks
00:02:44.500 to believe in this nonsense. It's over. Done with. Enough's enough.
00:02:50.960 Planned Parenthood shutting down a major baby-killing operation in New York City.
00:02:56.240 Planned Parenthood of the Greater New York announced it would be selling its $39 million Soho building
00:03:01.320 located on Bleecker Street, and it would take its behemoth baby-killing operation out of
00:03:06.200 New York's Manhattan borough. Folks, this is excellent for the pro-life movement and all
00:03:14.060 those against these baby-killing and slaughter operations that they continue to run around
00:03:18.780 this country. Thank God for Planned Parenthood pulling the hell out of there. 0.57
00:03:24.400 Bozo Governor Tim Waltz, the man is resurfacing and I wish he really wouldn't, is gloating over
00:03:31.620 Tesla's stock crash. He forgets that Minnesota's pension fund holds over $361 million worth of
00:03:38.980 Tesla shares. Take a listen to numbskull of the day, Tim Waltz.
00:03:43.760 I'm saying on my phone, I don't know, some of you know this on the iPhone, they've got that
00:03:47.220 little stock app. I added Tesla to it to give me a little boost during the day.
00:03:53.120 $2.25 and dropping.
00:03:56.020 So, go ahead.
00:04:00.900 And if you own one, if you own one, we're not blaming you. You can take dental floss and pull
00:04:07.060 the Tesla thing off, you know, and take out, just telling you.
00:04:09.740 Folks, that's a sick man and it goes to show you why he, him and Kamala Harris lost the
00:04:15.900 2024 election. Total psychopath. Not normal people. And as I said, folks, a massive amount 1.00
00:04:25.300 of money, $361 million worth the assets of Tesla shares, 2 million shares actually, $361
00:04:34.460 million worth in pension funds for fellow Minnesotans in their pension fund. I mean, how do
00:04:42.400 you root against your own country? How do you root against your own people? But that's what
00:04:45.920 these people do, folks. They're sick in the head. They're mentally deranged. And Tim Waltz 1.00
00:04:49.880 is one of them. He better not forget that he said that when he decides to run for president
00:04:54.420 in 2028, because the American people certainly won't forget. Folks, please be sure to join us
