Chuck Schumer and Hakeem jeffrey are to blame for the government being shut down. This is the first time in history that a party in Congress has shut down the government over a CR. President Trump announces the largest federal layoff program in the history of America.
00:00:00.000Chuck Schumer is hurting real Americans for his own political survival.
00:00:09.380I'm going to say that again. Chuck Schumer is hurting real Americans for his own political survival.
00:00:13.840If you're a service member who's not getting a paycheck, it's because Chuck Schumer has to appease the Marxist.
00:00:19.820Cut and simple. It's plain and simple. Shame on you, Chuck, every Senate Democrat who's going along with this.
00:00:24.480You lack the moral fortitude to do the right thing.
00:00:27.440This is the first time in history, the first time in the history of the United States Congress that a party has shut down the government over a clean CR.
00:00:37.060We did. We frankly didn't expect this. We sent over a no frills, 24 page document to keep the lights on, keep Congress working to keep the paychecks flowing.
00:00:44.360And they stopped it because they're afraid of the far left.
00:00:47.540Hello, everybody, and welcome to the Great America Show. It's great to have you this. Happy Friday, folks.
00:00:52.380So the Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffrey shutdown continues.
00:00:56.000So now it's time to play ball. And by ball, I mean, President Trump and his administration are have announced the largest federal layoff program in the history of America.
00:01:08.380And it's no thanks to anybody but Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffrey's.
00:01:13.000Now, there's some talk about the troops because of the backpack and the issue that they're having there.
00:01:22.140But let's make it clear, because this is what the Democrats want to make it about.
00:01:25.040Well, you're leaving our troops out there. Well, no, that's not the case.
00:01:28.000Take it from House Speaker Mike Johnson.
00:01:29.880Every single Republican is not just talking about paying troops. We have already had those votes.
00:01:34.620We have done that. We did it three weeks ago. The executive branch, the president, is working on ways that he may have as well to ensure that troops are paid.
00:01:42.860The Republican Party stands for paying the troops.
00:01:45.460The Democrats are the ones that are demonstrating over and over and over now eight times that they don't want troops to be paid.
00:01:51.980This could not be any simpler than it is.
00:01:53.900Look at the record. Don't listen to what these Democrat politicians are saying up here.
00:01:58.640Look at how they're voting and demand that they do the right thing. That is where we are.
00:02:03.020So earlier this afternoon, President Trump and his administration began laying off these federal workers with the government shuttered,
00:02:09.340fulfilling threats and promises that he had made.
00:02:12.800You shut down the government and this is going to happen.
00:02:16.500And it's cutting the bloat and fat off the top of the government that President Trump has been talking about and which he ran on.
00:02:22.540So OMB Director Russ Vogt tweeting out the rifts have begun.
00:02:27.340Now, a White House spokesperson, this person is speaking on anonymity, confirmed that the rifts were started, which are the layoffs.
00:02:35.580And he's saying that this person is saying they will be substantial.
00:02:39.100The White House didn't provide specifics on how many employees were affected or which departments.
00:02:42.800The layoffs are taking place in the Commerce Department, the Treasury Department, Health and Human Services, Education, Homeland Security.
00:02:50.300And that's just the short of the list of the people who will be going.
00:02:54.680It's possible that over 100,000, up to 300,000 federal employees will be laid off through this entire thing.
00:03:02.240So is it the worst thing in the world?
00:03:04.180I tend to think that the federal government is over bloated to begin with.
00:03:09.060I mean, we have far too many people who sit on the federal payroll and don't do anything.
00:03:15.060You folks have all went into your Department of Motor Vehicles or some sort of government building at some point in your life and most likely have seen people sitting around doing absolutely nothing with a bad attitude.
00:03:27.000Anytime I think of federal government employees, that's exactly what I think of.
00:04:14.580Some of them, as you heard him say, 30 years in the making, yet the Democrats and these Marxist globalists who run this committee will never give him the satisfaction or justification for what he's done.
00:04:31.300And I don't believe Donald Trump for a second is trying to create world peace for a Nobel Peace Prize.
00:04:37.200It's a damn coin at the end of the day.
00:04:40.120It's just the fact of the matter that he deserves it.
00:04:43.200So despite ending the whopping eight wars since taking office, he was turned down for it.
00:04:48.440Now, the committee gave it to, as you heard President Trump say there, the Venezuelan opposition leader, Maria Machado, due to her tireless, what they say is her tireless work on promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for their struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.
00:05:05.640Now, when asked about Trump, the Nobel Committee chairman, Jogan Freidness, suggested that President Trump was way too much of an attention seeker and thus unworthy for the prize.
00:05:28.780He says, quote, in the long history of the Nobel Peace Prize, I think this committee has seen many types of campaigns and media attention.
00:05:37.020We receive thousands and thousands of letters each and every year of people wanting to say what for them leads to peace.
00:05:43.800This committee sits in a room filled with portraits, and that room is filled with both courage and integrity, so we only base our decision on the work and the will of Alfred Nobel.
00:05:54.120So, in other words, the committee denied Trump simply due to his personality and not for what he's done to the world.
00:06:02.660World peace, trying to create world peace, has nothing to do with, I guess, peace in the eyes of Mr. Jogan?
00:06:14.720Maybe somebody could help me out there.
00:06:16.700Now, Machado, the lady who wanted the Venezuelan opposition leader, we're not saying she doesn't deserve it, but the fact that President Trump sits here and will most likely never be considered for it, I think is absolutely sick.
00:06:32.580It's perverse, and I think it's disgusting that this is what we have to deal with because people have such Trump derangement syndrome.
00:06:42.300People are so Trump deranged that it doesn't matter what he does.
00:06:48.780The man could cure cancer, I think, at this point, and it wouldn't make a difference to these people because they're so deranged on how much they hate him.
00:06:57.740Now, are you heard President Trump there say that Maria Machado reached out to him today?
00:07:02.740She also wrote a very nice note on Twitter.
00:07:05.260Quote, the recognition of the struggle of all Venezuelans is a boost to conclude our task, to conquer freedom.
00:07:12.640We're on the threshold of victory, and today, more than ever, we count on President Trump, the people of the United States, the people of Latin America, and the democratic nations of the world as our principal allies to achieve freedom and democracy.
00:07:25.180I dedicate this prize to the suffering people of Venezuela and to President Trump for her decisive support for our cause.
00:07:33.140So, very nice note there from Ms. Machado.
00:07:36.620And like I said, we don't grudge her for winning.
00:07:42.380You know, it wasn't up to her to say, give me the peace prize, and President Trump, quite frankly, hasn't either.
00:07:47.540But the fact that they snubbed them is just, I mean, a joke.
00:07:51.960These people are just absolute losers.
00:07:54.680I want to get to, as we said, we're live tonight, so I want to get to some of maybe your comments, your questions, and all of that good stuff if we can.
00:08:03.180As I said, I like to pay respects to you guys for tuning into our live shows.
00:08:10.440Maria Machado deserved it for her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and her struggle to achieve a peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.
00:09:22.900But when you have a president who's fighting for America, when you have a president who's fighting for the values of your country like they've never been fought for before, when you have a president who's committed to securing your borders from fentanyl, from killing your kids and loved ones, that's not ass-kissing.
00:09:37.520When you have a president who's committing to getting America out of everyone's business across the world and committed to world peace, that's not ass-kissing.
00:09:46.180When you have a president who's looking now to hold China accountable for what they've done to the world and what they continue to do to the world, that's not ass-kissing.
00:09:53.380When you have a president who's committed to lowering inflation after it's gotten out of control and lowering rates for people, that's not ass-kissing.
00:10:01.620When you have a president who looks to and successfully does raise the middle-class wage earners and lower-class wage earners, that's not ass-kissing.
00:10:13.740Those are just a few statistics off the top of my head.
00:10:16.920So, as I said, maybe you should vote for Kamala Harris.
00:10:23.020Yes, and she was so kind to dedicate the prize to Donald Trump.
00:10:28.100I think that was awesome of her and lovely of her to do such a nice thing, to sort of push it back in the faces of the Nobel Peace Committee,
00:10:37.420to let them know that Donald Trump deserves it or deserved it this last time.
00:10:42.420Vanessa, over on Facebook, Dems are so jealous of every little thing that President Trump says or does.
00:10:47.340Dems are so evil and care about nothing in this country, period.
00:12:28.000He's given us a fresh breath of what freedom in America is supposed to look like.
00:12:34.080Greta Thunberg was very upset as she believed she would win the Nobel Peace Prize for tearing her flotilla across the Mediterranean to rescue Gaza.
00:12:44.180That's a very troubled, troubled, troubled person, I have to say.
00:13:44.460Thanks, everybody, for staying with us here on The Great America Show.
00:13:47.240Deep State prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia are starting to attack brand-new U.S. Attorney Lindsay Halligan.
00:13:55.000You guessed it, with leaks after she successfully returned an indictment against Letitia James.
00:14:00.420Now, corrupt New York Attorney General Letitia James was, of course, dieted yesterday by a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia.
00:14:08.460According to the DOJ, Letitia James was charged with two crimes, bank fraud under 18 U.S.C. Section 1344, false statements to a financial institution under 18 U.S.C. Section 1014.
00:14:20.360Lindsay Halligan, the newly sworn-in interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, secured this indictment by herself on Thursday.
00:14:29.140Now, Deep State prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia are angry about Halligan's success and her indictments against James Comey and Letitia James, so they're continuing to leak to the media.
00:14:38.960According to the latest leak to CNN, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, you guessed it, and Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, were caught off guard when Halligan secured these two-count indictments against Letitia James.
00:14:54.900Now, the reason I find this interesting, because we were told here on this show months ago by Roger Stone that the indictments were handed up, and the referrals were handed up to Pam Bondi, and they simply sat on her desk.
00:15:05.880Yeah, you guessed it, everything sits on her desk.
00:15:08.920CNN and other left media outlets are now attacking Halligan for being the only prosecutor named on Letitia James' indictment.
00:15:22.060And to me, it seems like President Trump stepped over Pam Bondi to put Halligan in this role in the first place, because, of course, they had a rhino running the thing.
00:15:31.860Now, the Justice Department is cleaning house as the deep state prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia resists Trump and leaked to sonographers in the mainstream media.
00:15:42.560Last week, another high-ranking prosecutor in the Eastern District was fired.
00:15:46.700Last month, President Trump, of course, fired Eric Seibert, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, because he refused to bring charges against Letitia James, James Comey, Adam Schiff, and others.
00:15:57.320And what we're told tonight, what I'm told tonight, is that more indictments are coming.
00:16:04.860Not sure of who or when or what, but the first two are only just a few sprinkles on the top of the ice cream cone.
00:16:15.260You know it's bad, folks, when Anderson Cooper and CNN are forced to admit the brutal truth.
00:16:22.820And the truth is that Letitia James is a bad person.
00:16:48.640Jeff, I mean, according to PolitiFact, the day after she was elected in 2018, Letitia James was asked by a community activist if she was going to sue President Trump.
00:16:57.720And she replied, quote, oh, we're going to definitely sue him.
00:17:00.600We're going to be a real pain in the ass.
00:17:02.300He's going to know my name personally.
00:17:04.200I mean, that's not a great look for somebody who has just been elected or just been campaigning, who hasn't even looked, I guess, at deeply at any evidence.
00:17:13.920Well, that's, you know, we live in a system where attorneys general and district attorneys in the United States, unlike almost any other country, are elected officials, are politicians.
00:17:26.960So they run for office making political statements.
00:17:35.720But there's nothing uncommon about it.
00:17:39.260The other the other point to make, though, is just because she made inappropriate comments, that doesn't mean she should get indicted for fraud years later.
00:17:49.140I mean, that's we're not supposed to live in a system of that kind of tit for tat.
00:17:55.260Criminal cases are supposed to stand or fall on their own merits.
00:17:59.240David, I mean, there's no evidence that Letitia James's indictment stems from some widespread audit of thousands of orang-a-japa.
00:20:36.340Among the long list of political adversaries President Trump has targeted in his second term are several black women in powerful positions.
00:20:44.080There's Lisa Cook, who serves on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, which has stood in the way of Mr. Trump's desire to lower interest rates.
00:20:50.900Sorry, I thought that was Jerome Powell.
00:20:52.920Fonnie T. Willis, the Georgia prosecutor, brought election inference charges against him.
00:20:56.200And now there's Attorney General Letitia James of New York, who brought civil cases against Trump and won.
00:21:01.840Well, she didn't really win because he didn't pay a dollar.
00:21:03.340All three women have risen to their posts as firsts.
00:21:08.380Ms. James is the first woman in New York to be elected Attorney General and the first African-American woman elected statewide office.
00:21:15.600Ms. Willis is the first woman to serve as District Attorney for Fulton County, while Ms. Cook is the first black woman to serve on the Federal Reserve Board.
00:21:23.500So now, some cases where CNN may be changing tune to maybe sort of finally get the truth out to the American people.
00:21:33.800You've got the New York Times, who they have zero integrity whatsoever.
00:21:38.660I mean, these people are just bottom of the barrel scrapers.
00:21:41.980I mean, they're the dirt on the bottom of your shoes.
00:21:45.720And I think that's even putting it too nicely.
00:21:50.020Trump is going after black women, black prominent women.
00:21:54.540I mean, these people can't even make a case to defend themselves or defend her or any of these people.
00:31:02.560Folks, that's all for us tonight and all for us this weekend, this week for The Great America Show.
00:31:08.480I'm going to send you all off to have a great, great weekend.
00:31:12.260We hope to see you back here Monday for The Great America Show.
00:31:14.720So, we're a quest for truth, justice, and the American way continues.
00:31:18.720I think we're going to have a really good lineup of guests next week for you guys on the show.
00:31:23.020And hopefully, by Monday, the government will be back open and Chuck Schumer and the boys will stop playing games, you know, stop the nonsense.
00:31:33.200But I think it's just wishful thinking at this point.
