00:00:00.000 hello everybody and welcome to the great america show it's great to have you with us another
00:00:06.740 beautiful day in america thanks so much uh for being with us tonight live here for the great
00:00:10.720 america show as i said we're live so as always let us know where you're tuned in from let us
00:00:14.540 know if you're enjoying the show let us know if you hate the show uh and all of that good stuff
00:00:18.580 so once again we appreciate uh you guys joining us uh each and every night for the great america
00:00:23.000 show but especially when we're we're here live uh we truly appreciate uh each and every one of you
00:00:28.320 guys being with us. So before we get to the big stories of the day, and there is a lot of news to
00:00:34.660 get to today, including President Trump's huge trip over to Turkey, where he's absolutely leveling
00:00:40.400 NATO. I think he's had enough. And we might get some big news over the next couple of weeks with
00:00:47.280 a decision on NATO. But we're going to get to that in just a few moments. Before we get to that,
00:00:52.780 The news of the hour is the U.S. military has launched more powerful airstrikes against Iran.
00:00:59.960 The strikes tonight come a retaliation for the Iranians attacking vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
00:01:06.300 Earlier this afternoon, Tehran struck three ships, including a Qatari natural gas vessel.
00:01:13.920 The U.S. called the attacks in Iran and their commercial vessels transitioning to the Strait of Hormuz,
00:01:18.160 a clear violation of that ceasefire that they just signed a few days ago the u.s central command
00:01:26.360 released the following statement just moments ago u.s central command forces have begun launching a
00:01:30.900 series of powerful strikes against iran to impose heavy cost targeting and attacking commercial
00:01:36.160 ships could buy innocent civilians in an international waterway the u.s strikes are in
00:01:41.180 response to iranian attacks on three commercial vessels that were transitioning through the
00:01:45.440 Strait of Hormuz, Iran's demonstrated aggression, was unwarranted, dangerous, and a clear violation 1.00
00:01:50.640 of the ceasefire, which has them warranted. 1.00
00:01:54.600 Now, Axios is reporting that an American official told him that the targets that they had hit
00:02:01.400 were Iranian air defense systems, coastal surveillance systems, ground-to-air missiles,
00:02:07.860 launch sites for anti-ships, cruise missiles, drone launch sites, and Iranian port facilities.
00:02:15.440 President Trump earlier revoked the Iranian oil sanction waiver after the Strait of Hormuz tax.
00:02:20.720 So we're back in limbo about what what's going to happen in the Strait of Hormuz.
00:02:27.080 We're back in limbo on, you know, how we how we proceed, how things are going to proceed.
00:02:35.380 It seems the ceasefire is done and President Trump is going to have to do it.
00:02:40.080 If you joined us yesterday for our conversation with Russ Tice, it seems President Trump is going to have to do.
00:02:44.760 what he's got to do, tend this thing up once and for all, and I think blowing up the ports is
00:02:51.540 probably the smartest thing he could do. It's how these people make their money, and it's how they
00:02:56.560 launch these little piss boats that are launching attacks and strikes and bullying the heck out of
00:03:04.740 people, so he's got to do. What's the saying? A man's got to do what a man's got to do.
00:03:09.720 president's got to do what a president's got to do so let's get to some news that happened now
00:03:15.880 otherwise now that we got that out of the way president trump uh over in turkey meeting with
00:03:21.000 president erdogan discussing some issues at hand and uh world peace is among the top
00:03:28.620 one for president trump i think he's been clear from the beginning um he didn't want to start
00:03:36.540 this in Iran, had no choice. And I think from the inception, he's been trying to help
00:03:41.680 collaborate and corroborate a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine, which he has said time and
00:03:49.900 time again, that he doesn't want to see the senseless lives lost, which sucks. And like I
00:03:59.000 said, talking with Russ Tice yesterday, it's terrible. Anytime there's war, there's civilians
00:04:03.840 who die which is why this thing in iran sucks so bad because the iranian people there are going 0.92
00:04:09.320 through enough the civilians there are going through enough being killed by their own government 0.97
00:04:13.920 being treated like crap by their own government and now they have to worry about a war which is
00:04:21.840 it's terrible you know the same thing in every other country that um is the place of a battleground 1.00
00:04:29.280 it sucks and the iranian government the irgc is a bunch of scumbags they're a bunch of scumbags 1.00
00:04:33.820 low lives who don't care how many civilians die. They don't care how many civilians they have to 1.00
00:04:39.200 risk. I mean, you guys remember just a few weeks ago when President Trump said he was going to go
00:04:44.580 after their bridges, they sent civilians to go stand on the bridges. I mean, these people
00:04:48.840 live and die by the rule of martyrdom. They're willing to die for everything.
00:04:54.940 So it sucks that these people are in this position. But I think President Trump has to 0.97
00:04:59.940 deal with this once and for all and figure out the route he wants to take and figure out quickly
00:05:07.500 because the american people um i spoke with mark mitchell today pollster um i think mark's gonna
00:05:15.420 be having some news coming out some big news coming out soon that you guys should all stay
00:05:19.240 tuned for but aside from that they you know the american people are you know weaning on it they
00:05:24.780 think they're tired of it they want America first they want uh now you'll hear people say well that
00:05:31.040 is America first yeah I get it I get it protecting the homeland is absolutely 100% but you know we've
00:05:35.760 got a lot of a lot of problems back here at home um that we got to deal with and um you know to
00:05:42.200 get back on track there I think is it is big so President Trump is is over in Turkey meeting with
00:05:47.680 President Erdogan and boy did uh he not mince words he's had it with NATO as he should
00:05:54.860 NATO wanted to look for us and for help through everything.
00:05:59.740 Hands in our pockets.
00:06:02.940 You know, sticky fingers.
00:06:05.440 And the one time, the one time we looked for them for a little bit of companionship, a little bit of help.
00:06:13.580 Let us use your runways.
00:06:14.960 Let us use your bases.
00:06:15.900 Let us a little bit of help.
00:06:18.900 Nowhere to be found. 1.00
00:06:20.860 Didn't want anything to do with Iran. 1.00
00:06:23.180 That's fine. 1.00
00:06:23.960 You know, that's fine. That's your prerogative. I mean, it's not really fine at the end of the day because you're NATO. You have a commitment, right, to help America just as you beg and cry and plead for us to help you.
00:06:40.340 So President Trump, again, has a decision to make on that.
00:06:46.920 So here's what he had to say when asked about NATO.
00:06:50.700 Are further troop drawdowns in Europe likely? And are you satisfied with the progress that NATO allies have made?
00:06:55.660 Well, we're going to see. I was very disappointed with NATO.
00:06:58.900 And frankly, if it weren't held in Turkey, where my friend happens to be a very strong leader, a very strong person, it's possible that I wouldn't have attended.
00:07:12.300 I felt I had to attend because of the fact that, you know, I know he's gone all out.
00:07:16.440 It was a big thing to have NATO come to Turkey or anyplace else. It's a big thing.
00:07:21.340 But we weren't treated well because we did something in Iran.
00:07:26.400 We don't need anybody's help. I didn't even want the help.
00:07:30.060 But before I asked, they said they wouldn't be there.
00:07:33.600 And we've invested trillions of dollars in NATO.
00:07:38.240 Why? To protect European countries and others, Canada, etc.
00:07:44.540 But to protect people, countries from, generally speaking, it used to be the Soviet Union, now it's Russia.
00:07:51.900 And I say that's fine, but you would think that they'd be very willing to do something to help us.
00:08:01.060 And they really weren't.
00:08:02.440 In the case of the United Kingdom, the prime minister, I guess he's no longer there.
00:08:07.620 Maybe because of this.
00:08:08.960 It was a very unpopular thing he did.
00:08:10.620 He said, no, we'll help after the war is over.
00:08:14.540 I said, I don't need that kind of help.
00:08:16.820 We didn't need any help at all.
00:08:18.520 And in a way, I was testing people.
00:08:20.220 I was testing to see whether or not they'd be there, because I've long said that we help them, but I'm not sure that they'd be there for us.
00:08:26.920 And Italy turned us down and Germany turned us down and France turned us down.
00:08:32.760 And it's OK.
00:08:34.720 But, you know, why are we spending hundreds of billions of dollars and they're not there for us?
00:08:41.180 We've always been there for them.
00:08:42.480 think about
00:08:44.940 it's literally
00:08:48.640 to protect them
00:08:49.560 I get it
00:08:52.920 we've got the
00:08:53.500 you know
00:08:54.100 the leading
00:08:54.960 economy in NATO
00:08:56.340 but it doesn't mean
00:08:57.460 you take advantage of us
00:08:58.620 and it certainly
00:09:00.920 doesn't mean that
00:09:01.620 you're not there
00:09:02.280 when we need you
00:09:03.180 as you heard
00:09:04.420 and we didn't need them
00:09:05.180 but
00:09:05.440 it's a joke
00:09:08.320 that we give nearly
00:09:11.820 a trillion dollars
00:09:13.240 980 billion dollars last year
00:09:15.900 defense spending
00:09:16.780 over 3% of our GDP
00:09:20.000 UK is next
00:09:28.200 to
00:09:30.420 like us
00:09:32.280 you know
00:09:33.460 I've kind of
00:09:34.500 don't need them
00:09:35.780 they give 90 billion dollars
00:09:40.160 91 billion dollars
00:09:41.480 2%, 2.5% of their GDP.
00:09:45.960 France behind them at $67 billion,
00:09:49.580 2% of their GDP.
00:09:54.260 And so on and so forth.
00:09:56.200 Poland gives about 4.5% of their GDP, 0.67
00:10:00.060 carrying their weight.
00:10:04.320 Contribute about $44 billion
00:10:05.780 of their 2025 defense spending.
00:10:11.480 So, I mean, we're funding this thing to the tune of 10 times, more than 10 times, the next best country.
00:10:23.880 And we get nothing from it.
00:10:28.380 People argue that we need it.
00:10:32.080 What do we need it for?
00:10:33.640 to get us into more wars to drag us through the the war of ukraine and iran that that's what we
00:10:44.140 needed for what have they done for us what have these countries done for us we've certainly
00:10:50.980 shelled out a shit ton of money what have we got in return you know i'd like to see you spend money
00:10:58.980 You guys go to a store, you go to a restaurant, you pay 20 bucks for a plate of food, you expect to get 20 bucks worth of food.
00:11:06.820 We're spending a trillion dollars a year. 0.98
00:11:11.580 We don't even get a damn sandwich out of it. 0.99
00:11:14.160 It's absurd. 0.98
00:11:17.580 And you look at who's negotiated these deals, and I think it negotiated these things, and it tells you everything you need to know.
00:11:24.940 The Bushes, the Obamas, the Bidens.
00:11:26.960 that's who's gotten us into this it tells you everything you need to know
00:11:32.060 about if we need to be there folks are live tonight for the great america show so let us
00:11:36.740 know as always where you're tuned in from if you're enjoying the show we're going to take
00:11:39.640 a quick 60 second break president trump offered some remarks on russia and ukraine and what's
00:11:44.180 going on over there there's so much more to get to mike johnson today showing maybe he has a little
00:11:49.360 bit uh of a spine some seth rich information coming out today a federal judge down in georgia
00:11:56.940 2020 election
00:11:59.260 Fulton County
00:12:00.280 we got all of that on the other side of this quick break
00:12:03.300 so don't turn that dial we're coming
00:12:05.140 right back on the Great America Show in less than 60 seconds
00:12:07.380 so please stay with us we'll be right back
00:12:09.120 Thanks everybody for staying with us here live on the Great America Show
00:12:17.540 like I said we're live tonight so
00:12:18.960 let us know as always where you're tuned in from if you're enjoying
00:12:21.560 the show and any questions, comments, concerns
00:12:23.400 feel free to drop them in there and we'll try to get
00:12:25.600 to him before the end of
00:12:27.160 tonight's show. So back to
00:12:29.560 President Trump and his little meeting 0.85
00:12:31.320 in Turkey, which has the Marxists
00:12:33.560 a little bit mad. And by the way,
00:12:35.840 you know, I was talking with somebody
00:12:36.960 a pretty influential person earlier
00:12:39.420 today. And
00:12:40.800 I asked him, he said, why do you think Trump went
00:12:43.420 to Turkey? And he had a pretty
00:12:45.460 interesting take on it. And he believes
00:12:47.620 it's to maybe put some pressure
00:12:49.520 on Netanyahu
00:12:51.400 to
00:12:53.180 make a deal
00:12:54.920 and wrap up his side of the things in Lebanon and try to clean things up over there.
00:13:02.800 So it's an interesting take, which I listened to.
00:13:05.580 But President Trump announcing with a huge announcement today,
00:13:09.740 which is certainly sure to piss some people off,
00:13:12.800 about sanctions that have long been on Turkey,
00:13:16.540 what his plans for are for those sanctions.
00:13:19.440 Let's take a listen.
00:13:19.940 I can tell you, we're going to be taking the sanctions off.
00:13:23.140 Okay?
00:13:24.920 I don't want him to waste his time answering that question because we're working very closely with Marco Rubio, a very famous man, great secretary of state.
00:13:35.260 And with Scott Bassett and with Pete and everybody else, we're going to be taking the sanctions off.
00:13:40.800 It's time to do that.
00:13:44.060 OK, we don't want to sanction friends.
00:13:48.340 It's very simple.
00:13:49.520 There's plenty of people we can sanction and we are saying we don't want to sanction friends.
00:13:54.320 And because of the president, you know, we have a very good relationship with the new leader of Syria.
00:14:01.820 And he's done an amazing job in a year and a half. He's pulled the whole country together.
00:14:06.000 And I have a very great relationship with him. And somebody said, well, he's pretty rough to put him there.
00:14:11.440 I approved him along with the president. We were the two that really wanted him.
00:14:15.760 And he's done a great job. He's done a great job. He's pulled it together. Not an easy job.
00:14:21.320 So now the sanctions President Trump was talking about there were actually sanctions that his administration had imposed back in December of 2020.
00:14:31.800 The reason, pretty straightforward, Turkey bought some Russian air national defense missile systems from Russia's main arms exporter.
00:14:40.860 The U.S. argued that buying these compromised sensitive NATO technology, especially the F-35 stealth fighter jet and the purchase financially benefited the Russian defense industry as President Trump was trying to wrap up a war with Russia and Ukraine.
00:15:01.540 So what were they?
00:15:03.000 The sanctions were no new U.S. export licenses or authorizations for goods or technology going to them.
00:15:11.340 U.S. banks could not provide more than $10 million in loans or credit during a 12-month period.
00:15:17.320 The U.S. Export-Import Bank was barred from financing any exports.
00:15:22.020 The U.S. was required to oppose any loans from international financial institutions that would benefit them.
00:15:28.600 So those all removed today.
00:15:32.020 And I'm sure President Trump got the better side of the deal, as he usually does.
00:15:38.300 So President Trump also talking about, as I just mentioned, the issue of Russia and Ukraine,
00:15:44.940 which had brought him to these sanctions in the first place.
00:15:49.160 And he didn't mince words once again.
00:15:52.020 But he wants that thing wrapped up in Russia and Ukraine, perhaps maybe Zelensky and Putin do, too.
00:16:00.080 I had a very good talk with President Putin, who, by the way, has a lot of respect for President Erdogan, a lot of respect for him.
00:16:09.140 We had a long talk yesterday, lasted a long time. And I also spoke with President Zelensky right after that.
00:16:15.880 I think they both want to make a deal
00:16:18.820 It's too bad it took so long
00:16:21.100 But I think there's going to be something's going to come out and the president's also helping us with that
00:16:26.760 But I think there's something you know, I settled eight wars
00:16:29.800 And I think we're going to be settling a night
00:16:33.020 It doesn't seem likely now, but sometimes when with war I see when it's least likely that's when it happens
00:16:39.860 I had a very good talk with President Putin. I had a very good talk with
00:16:43.380 I would say as a combination, a lot of times I'd do well with Putin and Zelensky would be a problem or vice versa.
00:16:51.200 Zelensky would be great and Putin would be.
00:16:54.180 They both want to get it settled now more than that.
00:16:57.600 That's all I do in my life is deals.
00:16:59.520 I know deals.
00:17:01.180 And I think they are going to I think we're going to get it settled hopefully soon.
00:17:07.940 Last month, 35,000 mostly soldiers died.
00:17:12.320 The month before that, it was 24,000.
00:17:15.920 The month before that, it was 27,000.
00:17:18.380 And the month before that, it was 29,000.
00:17:21.760 But last month, it was 35,000 young soldiers, mostly soldiers died.
00:17:27.600 And that's crazy.
00:17:31.120 He's had enough.
00:17:33.040 He wants it wrapped up.
00:17:34.040 He wants it done.
00:17:35.340 As we all do.
00:17:38.280 Senseless dragging on of deaths of people.
00:17:42.320 as I think he's intimated about Iran as well, the deal, the infighting going on there as well.
00:17:51.020 Wants it done. Wrap it up. Get it done with.
00:17:54.360 We're going to take one more quick break here, folks.
00:17:56.180 There's a lot more to get to, so don't turn that dial.
00:17:58.680 We're going to get to some bombshell documents from the FBI today.
00:18:04.820 A story that we've been talking about for some years here.
00:18:07.220 Lou Dobbs spoke about for years.
00:18:08.760 Mike Johnson showing he may have a backbone after all federal judge acting up in Fulton County, Georgia, as I'm sure you can imagine.
00:18:19.120 Not exactly squeaky clean over there. Before we get to break, let's get to some shout outs.
00:18:22.660 2W5-2, Kelly Song, delight to have you guys with us.
00:18:26.080 Mary Hawley, thanks so much for joining us tonight. Mike over on Facebook.
00:18:31.060 Frank Jeff Nagley, let England take care of themselves or ask their Muslim overlords for protection.
00:18:38.600 Yeah, I'm all for it. 0.92
00:18:41.440 Mike, NATO receives way too much money from us.
00:18:43.740 He can't get an argument from me out of that one.
00:18:45.780 John over on Facebook, thanks so much for joining us.
00:18:48.820 Warnock Dan, I say get out of NATO.
00:18:50.980 Listen, we may see it happen way sooner than later.
00:18:57.180 Josie from California, thanks for being with us tonight.
00:19:00.500 And Chris from Summers Point, New Jersey, appreciate you tuning in.
00:19:04.860 We're going to take a quick break.
00:19:05.960 We're coming right back.
00:19:06.800 We're going to get to all of that and so much more.
00:19:08.860 So don't turn that down.
00:19:09.480 We'll be right back.
00:19:15.980 Thanks, everybody, for staying with us here on The Great America Show Live tonight.
00:19:19.080 So let us know where you're tuned in from.
00:19:20.600 So where do we want to pick up with?
00:19:22.560 Do you want to talk about the FBI bombshell documents?
00:19:26.280 Mike Johnson growing a little bit of a backbone.
00:19:30.020 It's a tough decision.
00:19:31.120 You know, let's get to this first.
00:19:33.880 Let's talk about this.
00:19:34.780 A federal judge this afternoon rejecting the DOJ's attempt to subpoena 2020 Fulton County election workers.
00:19:42.960 Early this year, the FBI raid a Fulton County election office.
00:19:46.920 The Justice Department also issued subpoenas for information on all 2020 election workers from Fulton County.
00:19:53.480 The records include those who are performing the following duties, individuals who are assigned to review mail-in ballots,
00:19:59.660 which was, of course, a big issue, potential fraud, a little bit of fraud, possibly individuals assigned to voter review panel slash the board, individuals assigned to mobile voting locations, individuals who were assigned to the transfer results to media or transport ballots, ballot stock or media individuals employed or contracted by the Fulton County Board of Registrations and elections, individuals who worked or volunteered for risk limiting audits.
00:20:28.780 people who volunteered for the recount, or anybody who served as a precinct manager or assistant managers.
00:20:35.040 But this afternoon, U.S. District Judge William Ray, a Trump appointee, quashing those subpoenas.
00:20:41.060 He said that the grand jury subpoena was unreasonable?
00:20:46.200 To find out what took place in the 2020 election?
00:20:50.140 That was unreasonable?
00:20:53.180 Trump appointee?
00:20:55.460 That's not a great American.
00:20:58.780 that's not a person who cares about this country.
00:21:02.320 That's not a person who's sworn the oath of the Constitution
00:21:06.040 to protect and uphold it.
00:21:08.080 It's a federal judge we're talking about here.
00:21:10.400 Imagine that.
00:21:12.520 What an absolute joke.
00:21:15.200 Now, speaking on the elections and speaking on securing our elections,
00:21:21.360 John Thune, of course, still hasn't got the Save America Act passed.
00:21:26.480 Nobody knows where Mitch McConnell is.
00:21:28.060 There's reports that he's on life support in a hospital.
00:21:31.900 You've got reports out today that people have spoken to him on the phone.
00:21:35.840 Nothing official from his staff telling us, you know, where he is, his whereabouts.
00:21:40.920 So nobody knows where he is.
00:21:42.960 That's a vote missing in the Senate.
00:21:45.460 So the whole thing is upside down.
00:21:47.340 It's clear. 0.72
00:21:49.360 It shows that, you know, it's John Thune is incompetent.
00:21:58.060 You know, John Thune is clearly either incompetent or compromised, unable to do his job.
00:22:08.680 I don't understand why President Trump has not put more pressure on him to do his job.
00:22:15.260 You know, President Trump puts pressure on people who are not doing their job, who are not doing a good job, world leaders, congressmen, so on and so forth.
00:22:26.560 Why is he not leveling John Thune, who's been nothing but a rhino hack?
00:22:34.320 Hasn't done a damn thing.
00:22:36.620 Part of the reason why we don't have Jay Clayton in at DNI right now,
00:22:41.460 because President Trump said, no, no, no, we're not playing this game.
00:22:44.680 You put Clayton in there, we pull him from the Southern District of New York,
00:22:47.580 and we're not going to have anybody in the Southern District of New York
00:22:49.780 because of the blue slip scam that Thune refuses to get rid of.
00:22:56.560 and refuses to get rid of the parliamentarian who was put in there by Harry Reid.
00:23:03.800 So this is a man who doesn't have America first.
00:23:09.160 He doesn't have the confidence, I don't think, of the conference.
00:23:14.220 And he's running the show.
00:23:16.820 Now, over on the House side, Mike Johnson's doing a little bit of a better job,
00:23:20.400 To his credit, keeping his minions in check.
00:23:27.900 Mike Johnson making it clear that Republicans are not backing down after the Supreme Court's 5-4 betrayal last week with the whole birthright citizenship.
00:23:39.520 let's take a listen into mike johnson and what he had to say regarding that and what the house
00:23:48.560 is going to do about it talked to you about the supreme court's decision this week on birthright
00:23:54.600 citizenship the president tweeting afterwards excuse me true social he said we can easily
00:23:59.000 make it up in congress through legislation no long and unwieldy constitutional amendment is
00:24:03.260 necessary a lot of conservative voices did not read the opinion that way including
00:24:07.040 Governor Ron DeSantis, Harvard Law grad, not exactly a slouch.
00:24:10.340 In this department, he says it's a substantive decision that says the 14th Amendment requires
00:24:15.080 citizenship for those born to, among others, birth tourists or those unlawfully present
00:24:20.120 in the country will need either a constitutional amendment or a future court to overrule this.
00:24:25.160 Mike Lee joining in with that as well.
00:24:26.680 Senator saying it's going to be a long fight to a constitutional amendment.
00:24:29.700 You, I knew before Congress as a constitutional attorney and scholar,
00:24:33.420 What say you about how this gets done, if there's a change to be made?
00:24:36.960 Well, I used to litigate constitutional law cases, so I really enjoyed Justice Clarence Thomas' dissent.
00:24:42.580 It's everybody should read that, must read.
00:24:44.820 And he explained that the 14th Amendment, the original intent, was to enhance and really value citizenship,
00:24:50.940 and it's been devalued because of birthright tourism, which is what we have now.
00:24:54.660 It's a threat to the rule of law and national security.
00:24:57.040 We do need to address it. We're looking at all angles.
00:24:59.200 If there's some legislative fix, we'll advance that immediately.
00:25:02.020 if it's a constitutional amendment, as you know, it takes a little more time, but we've got to
00:25:06.040 address this. It's, it really is a serious, serious issue. Time for folks to brush up on
00:25:09.720 schoolhouse rock. It is quite a process. Um, and it isn't often done. All right, speaker. Good to
00:25:14.660 see you. Thank you. Great to see you. There's literally businesses of people that bring people
00:25:24.760 to America to have children.
00:25:29.220 Annie Coney Barrett,
00:25:31.460 John Roberts,
00:25:32.480 who joined the liberal hacks
00:25:34.260 to uphold the misinterpretation
00:25:37.200 of the 14th Amendment
00:25:38.100 and the Citizens' Clause.
00:25:42.440 They clearly didn't go to the
00:25:44.040 Justice Clarence Thomas
00:25:45.760 School of Law.
00:25:52.320 Before we go, we got a bunch
00:25:54.660 more to get to. Attorney Ty Clevenger has been on the show. I tried to get on today. I spoke with
00:25:59.520 him earlier. He lost his voice. We're going to try to get him on next week. We're going to be
00:26:04.980 taking some days off next week. It's Stephen Gardner will be filling in for me. So just to
00:26:08.700 give you guys a heads up. But I'm going to get Ty to try to join us next week to talk about this
00:26:16.240 case. Ty Clevenger is an attorney who's spent nearly a decade battling the FBI and the DOJ
00:26:23.480 for transparency in the Seth Rich case.
00:26:25.820 We did a whole episode on it,
00:26:27.040 nearly an hour long with Ty,
00:26:29.180 which I just posted on Twitter again,
00:26:31.280 if you guys missed it.
00:26:34.040 Because there's some inconsistencies about the case.
00:26:39.060 There have been since the beginning.
00:26:42.840 Man was shot dead in the back in a park in Washington, D.C.,
00:26:47.760 wee hours of the morning,
00:26:49.560 to which the local PD said it was a botched robbery.
00:26:52.300 There's one problem.
00:26:53.140 nothing was ever taken from him.
00:26:55.460 Why would a man be shot in the back
00:26:57.260 in a boss robbery?
00:26:58.960 Or two, an FBI getting involved
00:27:02.660 in a homicide case.
00:27:05.080 So nothing ever seemed to add up.
00:27:08.020 So Ty Clevenger foyed and foyed and foyed
00:27:10.360 and sought to get some information
00:27:12.780 and some insight.
00:27:15.140 And time and time and time again,
00:27:17.900 he was getting pushback
00:27:19.380 from our own government,
00:27:21.300 from our own FBI.
00:27:23.140 So it wasn't really making much sense.
00:27:27.340 So he continued to push and he continued to push.
00:27:32.180 Obfuscation from the FBI.
00:27:34.360 The other odd thing was, was once Seth was killed in this botched robbery,
00:27:40.560 his laptop went missing and then was taken by the FBI.
00:27:44.820 The FBI confirmed they had the hard drive, then they had the laptop,
00:27:48.140 then they didn't have both.
00:27:49.840 Federal judge ordered the FBI to turn that laptop over.
00:27:52.600 the hard drive, whatever they had to tie. The FBI, they didn't have it, but then they said
00:27:59.960 they had it. So nobody really knows what's going on. But today, we have a massive update.
00:28:10.340 Tie putting out the filing statement. Today, an attorney for the government told me that I would
00:28:14.940 soon be getting confirmation that several hundreds of pages of documents related to Seth Rich
00:28:19.060 were found previously hidden in a room at the FBI headquarters.
00:28:22.920 You may recall that on July 30, 2025, a Fox News digital reporter
00:28:27.220 that newly installed FBI Director Kash Patel and his leadership team
00:28:31.220 had located in an unmapped and sealed area in the J. Edgar Hoover skiff.
00:28:36.100 Now, the thing that doesn't make any sense to me, not that what Ty is saying,
00:28:39.120 but what the government is saying is that we're in 2026.
00:28:43.560 You're telling me the government and these people printed out documents
00:28:47.780 put them in a box
00:28:50.360 and then put them in a skiff
00:28:51.600 and that it wasn't digitally stored somewhere
00:28:54.580 that there's just boxes
00:28:56.560 sitting in a room
00:28:57.480 doesn't make sense
00:29:00.500 didn't make sense then
00:29:01.900 doesn't make sense now
00:29:03.700 but nobody wanted to touch it
00:29:06.480 because everyone got sued
00:29:08.060 Lou Dobbs talked about it
00:29:10.540 at Fox News, Sean Hannity talked about it
00:29:12.160 at Fox News, sued
00:29:12.860 instead of figuring out
00:29:16.140 what happened to this gentleman
00:29:17.380 But there is someone who has a backbone in Congress.
00:29:22.420 There is someone who cares about this country, who cares about the truth, justice, and the American way in this country.
00:29:29.560 And it's Congressman Tim Burchett who cares greatly about this country.
00:29:35.660 Burchett today demanding the FBI turn over all records.
00:29:38.380 records. The letter dated today, Burchett writes, Director Patel, I write to request the release of
00:29:46.120 the Federal Bureau of Investigations records related to the death of Seth Rich. Seth Rich,
00:29:50.780 the 27-year-old, a promising future, was tragically killed in 2016. His killer remains unidentified
00:29:56.720 and the circumstances surrounding his death are questionable. Initially, the FBI informed the
00:30:01.480 public that it was not investigating Mr. Rich's death, which was described as a botched robbery
00:30:06.540 handled by local law enforcement.
00:30:09.460 The FBI later acknowledged possession evidence
00:30:11.960 related to Rich, including his work laptop
00:30:14.600 and forensic image of his personal laptop,
00:30:17.660 but resisted releasing these materials for years.
00:30:21.500 Recent reports suggest the FBI may have found
00:30:24.380 previously undisclosed files related to Rich
00:30:26.560 in quote-unquote burn bags,
00:30:30.480 possibly located in a sensitive,
00:30:32.620 compartmentalized information facility, or a SCIP.
00:30:36.540 At the J. Edgar Hoover Building, give the administration's commitment to transparency.
00:30:40.820 I strongly urge the full release of these records as permitted by law, doing so to address longstanding questions and demonstrate the administration's continued support for upholding public trust.
00:30:52.680 Signed, Tim Burchett.
00:30:57.220 Tim is a godsend.
00:30:58.800 I spoke with Tim earlier today, who, by the way, is just such a good man.
00:31:05.080 You know, I texted him and chatted with him. He answers right away.
00:31:11.020 Such a good man. One of the few good men in that institution.
00:31:17.880 And even Tim is confused.
00:31:21.540 Why did the FBI, and this tells you everything you need to know or the questions you need to ask,
00:31:28.020 why would the FBI have an image, and I don't mean literal image,
00:31:33.760 I mean, an image of the computer, the hard drive.
00:31:36.160 Why would they have an image?
00:31:37.320 Why would they have imaged Mr. Rich's hard drive on his computer?
00:31:45.060 It doesn't make any sense.
00:31:47.180 Man's killed in a botched robbery.
00:31:53.460 Maryland PD or DCPD, rather, investigates.
00:31:58.240 Since when does the FBI get involved in homicides?
00:32:04.440 And even if they do, why do they image the man's computer?
00:32:12.320 Then you do it, and you refuse to turn it over.
00:32:20.040 It really doesn't make much sense, does it?
00:32:25.100 So I think it's time for them to start answering some questions.
00:32:28.460 and now that Burchett's on the scene
00:32:32.260 I think things may start to get done
00:32:35.280 because Tim doesn't take no for an answer
00:32:39.340 and Ty Clevenger certainly doesn't take no for an answer
00:32:43.440 and Ty has been down there back
00:32:47.640 about this for nearly the last 10 years
00:32:58.460 ty texted me and said uh we will have something in writing from the fbi next week
00:33:05.500 regarding this to which you'd be happy to come back on the show
00:33:11.980 important stuff folks it's important stuff questions that need to be asked and more
00:33:18.740 importantly questions that need to be answered say it all the time we're taxpaying citizens
00:33:23.880 We deserve to know.
00:33:25.020 We have a right to know.
00:33:26.840 Before we wrap up, folks, you guys all remember Andrew Gillum.
00:33:32.200 He ran for, what did he run for?
00:33:35.360 He ran for governor, that's right, of Florida against Ron DeSantis.
00:33:41.260 The scary thing is, is he almost won.
00:33:44.560 Put up a pretty damn good fight, the fella that you guys all know and love.
00:33:49.400 well the news on mr gillum was arrested last week in alabama on drug charges
00:33:57.960 former rising star in the democratic party served as talla nasty mayor or as they like
00:34:03.500 to call it tell a nasty tell a massy tallahassee from 2014 to 2018 narrowly lost his gubernatorial
00:34:11.240 bid but just less than a half percent against ronda santa's 2018 police say they pulled him
00:34:18.640 over for driving erratically on the night of July 2nd and found methamphetamine, marijuana,
00:34:24.240 and drug paraphernalia. He now faces multiple charges, including unlawful possession of
00:34:29.200 controlled substance. This is the man who they found passed out in his room during his gubernatorial
00:34:37.260 bid. We wish him the best, as he certainly should get himself checked into some sort of facility
00:34:47.180 and get the help that he so needs.
00:34:49.380 And stay away from politics for the time being.
00:34:51.920 Folks, that's all for us tonight here on The Great America Show.
00:34:54.040 Appreciate you guys always joining us live.
00:34:55.880 We'll see you back here tomorrow for The Great America Show,
00:34:57.320 Truth, Justice, and the American Way.
00:34:59.420 Same time, same place as always.
00:35:01.080 We'll see you back here tomorrow, folks.
00:35:02.080 Until then, may God bless you.
00:35:04.020 May God bless America.
00:35:04.960 And may God bless the great Lou Dobbs.
00:35:06.780 Have a great night, folks.
00:35:07.440 We'll see you tomorrow.
