00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody, and welcome to The Great America Show.
00:00:05.300 It's great to have you with us on this beautiful day in America.
00:00:07.960 Happy Friday.
00:00:08.640 Thank you so much for spending your Friday evening with us here on The Great America
00:00:13.640 Show.
00:00:13.960 We truly appreciate it, and I hope you all had a great weekend.
00:00:17.020 You're just as ready for the weekend as I am.
00:00:20.940 Let's begin with some news today.
00:00:23.160 As President Trump, currently this hour and throughout the day, weighing his next move with Iran, what he does next, a leak out of CBS News earlier today shows that the Pentagon is planning.
00:00:37.980 Now, this is a leak from CBS News, so we have to take it with a grain of salt.
00:00:41.720 But they say that the Pentagon is preparing for possible troops on the ground in Iran.
00:00:48.660 This is part of Operation Epic Fury, of course, which is this joint military mission between the United States and Israel that began just under a month ago on February 28th.
00:00:58.640 So far, the military operation has involved the U.S. Air Force and the Navy.
00:01:03.340 In this leak, it would involve, I think, putting Marines on the ground.
00:01:09.340 Now, the U.S. military so far has just decimated Iran's missile infrastructure, their naval forces, their air force, their nuclear capabilities.
00:01:16.420 to the best of our knowledge, according to the Pentagon.
00:01:20.400 So the next move, I guess we're waiting for at any day now, what can happen.
00:01:27.740 Senior military commanders have submitted specific requests aimed at preparing for such options for President Trump as he weighs what happens next.
00:01:37.420 Trump has been deliberating whether to position ground forces in the region, according to sources who are speaking on the condition of anonymity.
00:01:44.400 But as you know, with anything inside the Trump administration, the condition of anonymity and the sources, the no sources, has been a problem from the beginning.
00:01:52.740 So, of course, all unverified. We don't know if it's true or not.
00:01:58.440 This is just what's being reported, according to the leak that came out of CNN.
00:02:04.000 Now, yesterday, when President Trump was asked about it, he said he's not putting troops anywhere.
00:02:08.820 And if he were going to, he would not tell the media.
00:02:11.520 but then reiterated that he wasn't putting troops on the ground.
00:02:16.920 Now, last Friday, he disputed another leak from CBS News
00:02:20.720 and said the U.S. is getting very close to winding down
00:02:23.700 their military efforts in the Middle East.
00:02:25.460 Now, this was last Friday, a week ago, so it's unclear as of right now
00:02:31.440 if he intends to get further entrenched in it
00:02:34.460 or if he intends to try to pull our guys out,
00:02:38.980 which I think is probably the right move at this point.
00:02:41.520 You know, what more, you know, as we look at it, I guess, from layman's on the outside, what more can you possibly get out of this operation?
00:02:51.200 You've killed like their number one, two, three and four in line to be successors to the Ayatollah Khamenei.
00:02:59.000 You've destroyed their military. You've destroyed their planes.
00:03:02.600 You've destroyed their their naval fleet that they use to bully people.
00:03:08.100 um you know you've you've almost completely decimated the place i guess what maybe the
00:03:15.180 exception of completely making sure that their nuclear facilities are leveled but
00:03:19.720 then again why can't you do that with the bunker busters that they've continued to
00:03:24.580 to unleash there these things that go you know hundreds of feet into the ground
00:03:29.560 and obliterates everything their nuclear capabilities their nuclear uh their weapons per se
00:03:36.880 the uranium is not sitting on top of the ground somewhere you know it's buried way deep underground
00:03:46.580 so i you know i'm not entirely sure what putting troops on the ground actually does for you
00:03:54.000 aside from the obvious fact of putting our men and women our brothers our sisters into harm's way
00:04:05.080 Now, Republican lawmakers tonight are not happy about it.
00:04:09.080 And we're going to, I think, probably get this over the course of the next month or so or two months or so while President Trump deliberates what the next move is.
00:04:21.160 Now, Pete Hegseth asked for an extra $200 billion, which Republican lawmakers are already speaking out.
00:04:34.320 And Hegseth said he's, you know, open to maybe taming that number down a little bit.
00:04:40.600 He can move it a little bit.
00:04:42.420 Hegseth says, quote, unquote, as far as the $200 billion, I think that number could move at a press conference.
00:04:47.940 Obviously, it takes money to kill the bad guys.
00:04:50.120 So we're going back to Congress and our folks to ensure that we're properly funded for what's been done, what we may have to do in the future and to ensure our ammunition is refilled and not just refilled, but above and beyond.
00:05:03.800 Now, there's been reports out that we've completely depleted our ammunition and rockets and things needed for war beyond what it should be using this war.
00:05:16.720 So the reports have shown that America is in a little bit of a vulnerable position right now, should we get into a conflict somewhere else.
00:05:24.760 Now, the news of the Pentagon request was first reported by The Washington Post.
00:05:29.360 And of course, it's another person who's speaking on the condition of anonymity, as we usually see.
00:05:35.840 The staggering figure will likely startle several Republicans in Congress, where the GOP right now holds a very thin margin.
00:05:42.860 along with virtually every Democrat, as there's been little to no bipartisanship since President Trump assumed office back in January.
00:05:50.260 Such a large amount of money as the $200 billion could open the White House to deep scrutiny,
00:05:55.520 given the fact that President Trump has told the public that the U.S. involvement in Iran is going to be short and it's coming to an end.
00:06:02.100 Now, despite these hurdles, House Speaker Mike Johnson seems open to extra defense spending, saying Congress has to, quote, adequately fund defense.
00:06:10.560 thune has said uh senate majority leader thune singing a little bit of a different tune he says
00:06:16.820 it remains to be seen if the senate could pass 200 billion in funding for the iran war
00:06:20.520 um said the trump and men will have to show congress how they want to use this money
00:06:25.780 now senators and and congressmen have already started speaking out senator roger marshall
00:06:32.000 from kansas said the 200 billion dollar request is a little bit tall considering we're coming up
00:06:37.520 $40 trillion in debt in this nation. He added they need to come to Capitol Hill and tell us what the
00:06:42.320 money is going to be spent on. I think if we give the Pentagon a trillion dollars a year, you think
00:06:46.460 that would be enough, but we're going to have to do something. Now, that's a little bit of a
00:06:50.580 difference from what someone like Congresswoman Lauren Boebert had to say. She has declared she
00:06:57.660 will not support any new war supplement spending, signaling a growing rebellion inside the GOP.
00:07:03.220 She flatly rejected the idea of approving any sort of additional funding tied to escalating tensions involving Iran, making it clear her position is non-negotiable.
00:07:14.740 So how do you wiggle your way out of that one?
00:07:19.220 How do you get to where you need to get?
00:07:21.620 We're going to bring you what Boebert had to say.
00:07:23.360 We're going to take a quick break here on The Great America Show Live tonight.

00:07:37.680 The Great America Show continues in just moments. Don't turn that dial.
00:07:47.560 Thanks, everybody, for staying with us here on The Great America Show and happy Friday, folks.
00:07:51.680 We appreciate you spending part of your evening with us.
00:07:54.240 Some sad news to report tonight if you haven't already seen.
00:07:57.840 Mixed martial arts icon, legendary actor Chuck Norris passed away earlier this afternoon aside from his family.
00:08:05.660 I had no idea he was even sick.
00:08:07.480 Just a very private, private guy.
00:08:09.660 Chuck Norris was known best for his starring role in Walker, Texas Ranger, and a string of classical action films.
00:08:15.680 great American, great American, was a supporter of the Republican Party, supporter of President
00:08:22.920 Trump. Let's take a little trip down memory lane real quick before we get back to the news of Chuck
00:08:28.940 Norris telling the media why he decided to leave the Democratic Party. Why are you a conservative?
00:08:34.540 Well, I used to be a Democrat, but unfortunately, the Democrats went too far to the left and the
00:08:43.240 Republicans moved into their position
00:08:45.160 that the Democrats were 40 years ago.
00:08:48.460 And so
00:08:49.400 what the Democrats
00:08:51.420 believed 40 years ago, the Republicans
00:08:53.620 believe today.
00:08:55.560 And so I realized that I had to go
00:08:57.640 to a Republican
00:08:59.120 because the Democrats just got too far
00:09:01.260 off the trail.
00:09:03.260 They just got completely off the trail
00:09:04.720 and lost all reality of what
00:09:07.120 America stood for.
00:09:08.880 And so I realized that Republicans
00:09:10.900 at this point in time
00:09:12.420 are more focused on what is best for America than what the Democrats are.
00:09:19.040 Great American, and may he rest in peace and our condolences to Chuck's family.
00:09:24.320 Norris had been a long vocal supporter of traditional American principles,
00:09:27.900 strong national defense, and individual liberty,
00:09:30.480 so it made perfect sense for him to ditch the Marxist leftists.
00:09:34.980 Like I said, may he rest in peace and so live on in eternity
00:09:40.480 as a great American, you folks all know what it's like for people to come out and support
00:09:48.060 Republicans, especially in Hollywood.
00:09:50.060 Not easy, and it's a massive task to take on with the retribution that the Democrats
00:09:55.540 constantly do to people.
00:09:57.400 It's just a horrible, horrible, horrible thing.
00:10:00.520 So going back to the war in Iran right now, we were talking about Lauren Boebert, who's
00:10:07.820 one of the first now to come out in opposition to giving any kind of new money or anything like
00:10:13.740 that, especially $200 billion towards national defense. I guess when you look at nearly $40
00:10:19.120 trillion in debt, we've got some of the worst roads in America you could possibly drive on.
00:10:25.540 I do a lot of driving, at least here in New York, some of the worst roads you can possibly do.
00:10:30.180 Our infrastructure is just terrible. In some states, it's almost third world.
00:10:35.920 Our air traffic control system, as we've seen over the last two years, is obsolete.
00:10:41.480 It's so antique and just like 1950s, 60s.
00:10:48.780 If you folks saw what the inside of an air traffic control tower looked like and how they tracked planes, you'd probably never want to get on another plane again.
00:10:58.160 It's literally like you've seen in old World War II movies of just a blip on a screen tracking across.
00:11:05.920 so you look at what we have here in america and you you know you ask yourself you know
00:11:11.820 when are we going to start spending in america 40 trillion dollars in debt
00:11:17.180 and what do we have to show for it and donald trump said this in 2016 you land a laguardia
00:11:24.440 airport here in new york and it's a third world airport it's literally a third world airport
00:11:29.380 you're lucky to not hit a damn pothole on the runway
00:11:33.660 so at what point do we start infrastructure in america to make it a habit a more habitable
00:11:41.580 country for us here so going back to lauren bobert this is what she had to say about the
00:11:47.600 possibility of spending any new money i will not vote for a war supplemental no i am a no
00:11:52.680 i've already told leadership i am a no on any war supplementals i am so tired of spending money
00:11:58.600 elsewhere. I am tired of the industrial war complex getting all of our hard-earned tax
00:12:04.500 dollars. I have folks in Colorado who can't afford to live. We need America first policies right now
00:12:10.040 and that I'm not doing that. We need the Save America Act, FISA with warrants. There's a lot
00:12:18.500 of hard lines that I have right now and we've got to get our act together if we want to keep this
00:12:22.960 majority and the path that we're going doesn't look very promising. Should the administration
00:12:28.140 can get out of iran that's up to the president so that's from congresswoman lauren bobert
00:12:35.180 and i think that's probably what you're going to get is the growing sentiment
00:12:39.120 uh from some of these members of congress you know it is a thin majority that they have to defend
00:12:46.100 and you know i think some of these people go home and they have a hard time
00:12:52.200 telling their constituents listen this is what we're spending money on
00:12:58.140 and like she said people can't afford groceries people can't afford to fill up their cars
00:13:07.600 drugs are flowing through our streets like never seen before so what point does
00:13:16.540 did the american people start to matter
00:13:18.680 now i've said it from the beginning i'm all for america taking out this islamic radical regime
00:13:28.020 in Iran, who's killed hundreds of thousands of old people and unleashed terrorism on America
00:13:34.680 for 40 years, 50 years. I'm all for it. I think it's excellent. And it had to be done eventually.
00:13:42.280 And President Trump, I think there's no better leader to do it than him.
00:13:46.420 And you just look at who our past leaders have been who could have done it,
00:13:50.240 whether it be Clinton or Jimmy Carter or George W. Bush or H.W. Bush or
00:13:58.020 You pick any one of those guys, and I'd be a little uneasy trusting them to get us in and out of there.
00:14:10.500 So, you know, President Trump on one hand is saying, you know, we've done what we've done.
00:14:14.940 We've won this war.
00:14:17.880 The war is over.
00:14:19.840 We've killed them militarily.
00:14:23.020 You know, we've ruined everything they have.
00:14:24.880 But then on the other hand, this is just moments ago before departing from D.C., President Trump was asked, and he says, as far as troops are concerned, I can't tell you what we're doing.
00:14:44.480 And if this was a potential move to send more Marines to the Middle East, I made that leak from CBS.
00:14:51.700 So polls have shown that MAGA is essentially unified behind President Trump, as Republicans are when it comes to Iran.
00:15:04.400 But, you know, that's before deciding to continue to possibly prolong the war.
00:15:11.380 That's before possibly deploying 2,500 more Marines to the Middle East.
00:15:21.700 So I think that's got away. And I'm speaking on this very independently right now without giving an opinion on it. I think historically, it's going to weigh on his poll numbers.
00:15:38.340 That, you know, he said one thing. He said the thing was done. It was over. We won. We leveled them and we're getting out soon.
00:15:47.900 but then on the other hand you go further in so which one is it and i i think that
00:15:57.000 it comes down to messaging that president trump has to give a good message that listen
00:16:02.160 this is what we've done and this is what we haven't been able to do and this is why we have
00:16:06.340 to do x y and z i don't think it's going to to bode well with the american people
00:16:13.200 if you say well we won the war the war is over we're good we smoked them we smoked their boots
00:16:21.400 but then the next day you send in 2,500 or 3,000 marines
00:16:29.540 and with the midterm elections coming up i think it and like i said this is not me speaking opinion
00:16:36.800 This is me speaking just bluntly honest.
00:16:42.660 With the midterm elections around the corner, I think it's a gamble.
00:16:46.600 I really think it's a big gamble.
00:16:48.420 I'm not being a black pill or anything like that, but I think it's a big gamble when you make a move like that.
00:16:57.480 So I think you've got to make a decision here on how you want to proceed.
00:17:04.420 Option one, we won the war.
00:17:06.800 We smoked them.
00:17:08.540 We made sure they'll never develop a nuclear weapon in our lifetime or lifetimes to come.
00:17:14.440 And we're out.
00:17:16.320 Or option B, we didn't really smoke them that bad.
00:17:22.860 And we've got to send guys in there to finish the job.
00:17:26.840 To which then poses the option that poses the issue of our men and women coming back in body bags.
00:17:36.800 Which is a real, real possibility that nobody wants to see.
00:17:46.480 I think if it comes down to their needing to be boots on the ground, Israel is in the region.
00:17:53.460 This is more of an Israeli war than it is our war. And that's just a fact.
00:18:00.000 I think they should put their troops on the ground.
00:18:02.140 and we continue to offer the air support
00:18:05.800 that we've offered from the beginning.
00:18:08.980 Let Israel put their troops on the ground.
00:18:10.740 Let Saudi Arabia send troops in.
00:18:13.120 Let Qatar.
00:18:15.900 All their surrounding neighbors.
00:18:19.360 The same way if we went to war with Mexico or Canada,
00:18:23.860 you can almost guarantee
00:18:25.860 no other country would send troops in to help us
00:18:29.400 on the ground.
00:18:30.520 I'd almost guarantee it. So I think that's a it's a real possibility and a real issue that President Trump needs to look at and make a decision.
00:18:43.960 You know, is it worth it for the country? Is it worth it for our men and women in uniform?
00:18:50.020 And is it worth it for the midterm elections? Because if they lose that that midterm, we all know what's going to happen because we've lived it before.
00:18:57.800 We're taking one more quick break here on the Great America Show, folks.
00:19:00.560 So please stay with us.
00:19:01.760 There's so much more to get to.
00:19:03.040 President Trump is continuing to rail against NATO.
00:19:06.080 Jim Comey may have a little bit more of an issue.
00:19:09.800 And a Clinton judge ruling Pete Hegset's new Pentagon press policy is unconstitutional.
00:19:16.100 I'm sure you would have never guessed that would happen.
00:19:18.920 So we're coming back in less than 60, folks.
00:19:20.460 Please stay with us.
00:19:27.360 Thanks, everybody, for staying with us here on The Great America Show, and happy Friday.
00:19:31.140 Like I said, I always appreciate you guys joining us, especially on a Friday.
00:19:34.440 Weather's getting nice outside, and you guys are going to head off in the summer,
00:19:38.120 so we appreciate you guys joining us.
00:19:39.440 President Trump earlier this morning unleashing on NATO once again.
00:19:43.980 He's had enough of them.
00:19:45.520 Posting the following message, quote,
00:19:47.240 Without the USA, NATO is a paper tiger.
00:19:50.660 They didn't want to join the fight to stop nuclear-powered Iran.
00:19:53.380 Now that fight is militarily won with very little danger for them.
00:19:57.460 They complain about higher oil prices and are forced to pay, but don't want to help open the Strait of Hormuz.
00:20:03.300 Simple military maneuver that is a single reason for higher oil prices.
00:20:08.240 So easy for them to do with so little risk.
00:20:11.160 Cowards, and we will remember President Donald J. Trump.
00:20:16.120 Not happy with NATO.
00:20:18.020 And I don't think he's been happy with NATO from the beginning.
00:20:19.760 Now, earlier this week, President Trump expressed displeasure with other countries for turning down his request to send their militaries to the Strait of Hormuz to protect oil tankers as Israel and the U.S. continued to wage war against Iran.
00:20:32.740 So some of those countries he's went after, China, France, Japan, South Korea, and the U.K., along with a few others.
00:20:41.240 And that was as President Trump was meeting with the PM of Japan yesterday.
00:20:47.060 So it's going to get real interesting, I think, folks, before it gets less interesting, I guess, for lack of a better way to put it.
00:20:57.640 It's going to get interesting because, you know, as I've said, he's got to figure out what he wants to do here.
00:21:05.160 Does he want to go further in?
00:21:08.040 And does he or does he want to pull out and, you know, run on the 20 run in the midterms that we smoke these guys boots?
00:21:17.060 and uh we got the heck out with minimal damage although you know one a death i think is too much
00:21:29.580 uh you know when you're in a situation like this and you know some of the issue that i think that
00:21:36.380 people take and this is an issue that i've taken and i've said this from the very beginning that
00:21:41.900 when i started hosting this show we have a war at our southern border okay how many troops on
00:21:51.020 the ground do we have at our southern border and the war against mexico it's a war make no mistake
00:21:57.280 about it because more people have died at the hands of mexico and the drug cartels in mexico
00:22:02.760 than anywhere in the middle east over the last 25 years it's indisputable 100 000 plus
00:22:10.920 Just on the books, 100,000.
00:22:14.880 That's not including people who haven't been autopsyed.
00:22:17.160 So it's over 200,000, my estimates, in the research I've done.
00:22:22.800 We'll put it at 150,000 and split the difference.
00:22:25.900 150,000 people a year dead from drug overdoses, from fentanyl, from heroin, cocaine, laced marijuana, coming from Mexico.
00:22:40.920 And we have not one troop on that border, not including the National Guard, who are not there to fight a war.
00:22:48.060 They're there to protect the border.
00:22:50.280 And under Joe Biden, we watch the National Guard, in some instances, assist people coming into the country, helping cut wire.
00:22:59.740 So why have we never sent troops down to the southern border if we want troops on the ground?
00:23:07.420 To fight a war, that's extremely winnable.
00:23:09.420 I think a ground war with the cartels, and it doesn't even have to be a ground war, because President Trump, I'm confident, knows every single drug manufacturing facility in Mexico.
00:23:22.080 And it's not hard to tell, because everything is infrared.
00:23:25.920 They can see where the heat is in the middle of a frigging desert, and it shows all on an infrared map.
00:23:33.740 So they know exactly where it is, and they've flipped people informants and things like that.
00:23:39.420 And that's a war that may save 50,000 to 100,000 Americans each and every year.
00:23:47.680 Why haven't we fought that war?
00:23:51.920 Why hasn't anyone called for troops on the ground there to kill every single last drug mule in this country, in this world?
00:24:03.680 Those guys should be eating ash for breakfast.
00:24:09.420 With the amount of Americans they kill and the damage they've done to our streets.
00:24:15.080 You go down any major city in America.
00:24:20.040 Any major city over this last week, I was in Nashville and I was in Louisville, Kentucky.
00:24:25.840 And I live in New York City.
00:24:27.800 You go down any street and you watch these people on fentanyl.
00:24:32.000 Where's it coming from?
00:24:34.280 Right on our southern border.
00:24:35.660 And it's disgusting that we allow it to happen.
00:24:39.420 It's disgusting that we allow our children to see that, grow up and watch it, and flourish in their schools, grade schools.
00:24:47.760 That's what we allow here in America.
00:24:50.440 So that's a real issue that needs to be brought back here home for the American people, a war that needs to be fought.
00:24:59.800 A federal judge this afternoon ruled that the Pentagon's new press policy restricting press credentials from reporters is unconstitutional.
00:25:06.620 In October, the Pentagon reporters turned in their badges after they refused to sign Secretary of War Pete Hegseth's new security policy.
00:25:15.660 And the federal judge, who, of course, was appointed by Clinton not happy at it,
00:25:21.520 defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's demand that reporters agree by Friday at 5 p.m.
00:25:25.860 under a new policy under which they would need to pledge to not obtain or use unauthorized materials,
00:25:30.900 even if the information is unclassified or hand over their press badge in the next 24 hours.
00:25:35.720 By that afternoon, Pentagon reporters turned in their badges, which is, I mean, think about it.
00:25:42.580 These people are such lowlife scum.
00:25:45.340 And they hate Trump so much that they don't care about implicating national security.
00:25:50.580 They don't care about any, even if it's not classified or if it's unclassified.
00:25:55.460 These people are just such scum.
00:25:58.480 There's no nice way to put it.
00:26:00.560 that they have an issue with not being able to leak,
00:26:06.280 an issue with not being able to lie.
00:26:11.260 I mean, that's the new world we live in under these people, folks.
00:26:15.340 It's a shame.
00:26:19.820 Former FBI Director James Comey has been subpoenaed by the Justice Department
00:26:24.320 with regard to the Russiagate investigation.
00:26:27.660 In July, it was reported that former FBI Director James Comey and John Brennan were under FBI investigation over their involvement in Russiagate.
00:26:35.040 CIA Director John Ratcliffe referred Brennan and Comey for prosecution last summer.
00:26:39.820 U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of Florida, Jason Redding-Konoes, is in charge of this investigation.
00:26:45.280 Now, according to Axios and Fox News, Comey was issued a grand jury subpoena just last week.
00:26:50.860 They say he issued this subpoena for a wide-ranging grand conspiracy case against FBI officials and former other officials who investigated and prosecuted President Trump, two sources allege.
00:27:05.260 The investigation has produced more than 130 subpoenas since cranking up last year.
00:27:09.880 Sources say the target's top officials who worked under former President Barack Hussein Obama and Joseph Biden, the officials include Comey, among others.
00:27:20.860 have all decried the investigation as political persecution and lawfare.
00:27:24.780 Now, the Trump administration's grand conspiracy theory shows that the Democrat officials bent the rules,
00:27:30.840 broke the law and lied under oath to investigate and persecute and otherwise undermine President Trump
00:27:35.940 from his election in 2016 through federal indictments in 2023.
00:27:39.660 And I'd even argue that it still goes on until this moment today inside some of the three-letter agencies.
00:27:46.980 And we were watching right before our eyes each and every day.
00:27:50.860 So we hope that James Comey gets thrown the book and deals with the full justice of the law.
00:28:00.260 I think it's only right.
