00:05:09.780And now it's going to be more important for everyone in the country to hear what John McLaughlin is saying, because we're less than six months from that critical, all-important, unprecedented election on November 5th.
00:05:26.420But the numbers, the numbers look really, really good for Donald Trump, despite everything that they're hitting him with.
00:05:35.900To me, I marvel that, first of all, the man can stand up to this.
00:05:40.800And I know him, and I've known him for a while, as have you.
00:05:43.440We know he's strong as a bull, but he is being hit by freight trains every day.
00:05:50.980Give us a sense of how strong he is in your polling right now.
00:05:55.520Well, you know, since I've polled for him when he first started running in the primaries in 2015, 2016, we've never seen him ahead in the national popular vote for president.
00:06:08.960And really, since Biden surrendered to Afghanistan, President Trump has maintained that lead.
00:06:14.280Where our last national poll that we published in April, Trump was ahead 49-45, four-point lead over Joe Biden, an incumbent-sitting president.
00:06:22.840And other polls came out after that poll.
00:07:01.120And Wisconsin, they got us ahead by a point, and Wisconsin's always a toss-up state.
00:07:05.520And Pennsylvania and Michigan, take it back.
00:07:08.560Michigan, they have us down by a point.
00:07:10.000But what's interesting about the Michigan survey is the exit polls of Michigan in 2020 had the Republicans and Democrats tied.
00:07:19.480And this poll is roughly tied, but with a lot of independents.
00:07:22.340However, we only lost Michigan by three points in 2020.
00:07:26.560And this New York Times poll has us losing the 2020 vote as a barometer by nine points.
00:07:33.440So they've got too many Biden voters in that poll compared to Trump 2020 voters.
00:07:38.720But what I'm seeing in our polls and what we're seeing in the national polls is there's a Biden 2020 voter nationally and in these battleground states that's voting for Trump now.
00:07:51.220And they're roughly 4% or 5% of the electorate.
00:07:54.400And we've been tracking them, and they're a quarter African-American.
00:08:03.300And they're really disillusioned with President Biden because these younger voters, they're coming out of college if they're racking up debt.
00:08:11.640And they're not finding the high-paying jobs that they wanted if their graduations happen at all.
00:08:16.940I mean, because now you've got these pro-Hamas Palestinian protesters disrupting their graduations, the finals, and all that stuff.
00:08:24.740And Biden's got a real problem because his base is split while President Trump looks stronger all the time and Biden looks weak.
00:08:35.300So we never saw these kind of poll results in 2020 or 2016.
00:08:41.380But now the Democrats are incredulous about it where you've got, you know, Obama strategists like David Axelrod, David Plouffe saying that Biden just, you know, doesn't – he's not doing what he needs to do to get elected.
00:08:56.960But he just continues to get on the wrong path on the economy, inflation.
00:09:01.440And they're talking about spending whatever is not spent.
00:09:04.220And it'll just – you know we're better than anybody.
00:09:07.160It'll trigger inflation even worse while inflation has caused all these voters to come to us.
00:09:14.640Inflation, immigration for the first time, seeing immigration is actually the number one issue in poll after poll after poll.
00:09:23.680People don't realize, even though this – the issue of illegal immigration and border security has been on the popular mind for, what, 25, 30 years, it has never been number one on the list of issues for voters going into a presidential election.
00:09:55.320I mean, you're seeing millions and millions of illegal immigrants coming to the United States.
00:10:01.260And it's causing what – they've always talked about there was a gender gap.
00:10:05.100And Donald Trump is expanding his lead with men, closing the gender gap with women precisely because safety moms, what I call safety moms, are moving to Trump because they're afraid of illegal immigration, the crime that's come with it and the fentanyl that's come with it.
00:10:20.360Plus the crime that's up in the cities and the suburbs.
00:10:23.700So these safety moms are moving to Donald Trump because they feel that Joe Biden has betrayed them.
00:10:31.680I mean, and it's totally out of control where, you know, I guess it was Elon Musk called it the Biden registration drive with the open borders.
00:10:43.080And now you've got members of Congress wanting – correctly wanting to require that you have to be an American citizen before you're allowed to register to vote because they're worried about these illegals are being, you know, registered.
00:10:59.080They're given welfare, they're given welfare, they're given health care, they're given free food, free housing.
00:11:04.340And you wonder why, you know, so many working class voters, whether they're African-American, Hispanic, or, you know, or the younger voters, why they're moving to the Republicans and to Donald Trump.
00:11:16.580Because they're seeing, you know, their standard of living betrayed by Biden and they're moving to Trump because he's taking their money and giving it to illegal immigrants and attracting them into the country over these open borders.
00:11:31.580And Trump always, back in the 2016 – when he announced in 2015, had a gut instinct for the immigration issue as a big issue.
00:11:41.460And under Biden, it's become the biggest issue that's out there, and you're correct.
00:11:45.400It's the number one thing when you say, what's the most important issue that would decide your vote for president?
00:11:49.900And they're saying immigration is securing the border.
00:11:52.260You know, it's interesting to think how right President Trump has been about everything, about what he promised, about what would happen if Joe Biden were in the White House, and what is happening to this economy, this society, this nation right now.

00:14:12.240We're seeing, for example, in the District of Columbia, they're actually training non-citizens how to vote there.
00:14:19.340That's a pretty clear statement, isn't it, John, that this is no coincidence that Joe Biden has brought in about 14 to 15 million illegal aliens at his invitation, an invasion of the United States.
00:14:35.560And he means, I believe, for every one of those folks to have a vote this year.
00:14:40.120You know, it's crazy, and it's a betrayal of American citizens.
00:14:45.220And plus, if you're a legal immigrant and your family came here, you know, waiting years to get in and do it properly and wanting to be an American, you know, they've just rendered that worthless.
00:14:57.740Because if any illegal immigrant comes in, whether they're a terrorist, a criminal, et cetera, they're giving them taxpayer-funded housing and, you know, credit cards and food stamps, et cetera.
00:15:11.000And the worst part is states like New York, you have any interaction with the government, they register you to vote unless you decline.
00:15:18.860They have a green law license for illegal immigrants.
00:15:22.640Unless you decline, you're put on the voter rolls, and then they don't share that.
00:15:26.500And in places where these nonprofits, the Soros nonprofits, are bringing illegal immigrants in, they happen to have voter registration forms around the facilities where they're housing them.
00:15:40.780And so it's pretty obvious what they intend to do.
00:15:44.760And besides, the New York City Council has tried to make it legal for illegal immigrants to vote in municipal elections in New York.
00:15:53.960Well, I bet you if they got away with it, because thankfully the courts threw it out as unconstitutional, but if they got away with it, I wouldn't be surprised to see them call a special election on November 5th in New York City that illegal immigrants can vote.
00:16:10.020So this is something that has to be stopped right away because, and they want to count them in the census for representation, which is electoral college votes.
00:16:18.380And it's just a massive betrayal of American citizenship that the Biden administration is pushing.
00:16:27.420The American people are not famous for paying much attention to some of these critical issues that you're describing when we're talking about, really, it's reverse suffrage, stripping everyone of their right to vote and to have it counted in a proportionate way, at least.
00:16:47.220We're looking at, what, 20, 30 congressional seats that are at risk as well if we do not change the citizenship requirement for the census.
00:17:01.880In other words, count citizens, but do not count persons because this thing is fully loaded now for a Marxist-dim takeover in the next round, the next cycle.
00:17:16.040Right. And we, by the way, we polled on this in January. It's on our website on mclaughlinonline.com.
00:17:22.080The Tea Party Patriots, Jenny Beth Martin, we polled it and four to five Americans disapprove of this.
00:17:28.000And they think in order to be registered to vote, you've got to be an American citizen.
00:17:33.680You should show proof of it. You should make sure, I mean, they don't want you to even fill out the registration card, let alone vote, if you're an illegal immigrant.
00:17:45.480And so President Trump is taking that stand. Speaker Johnson's proposed legislation on that.
00:17:52.780And it's a powerful issue because it's essential to who one American citizen is.
00:17:59.360So that's an important issue for the Republicans and President Trump and to keep pushing because the Democrats want to ignore it.
00:18:05.520Plus, you've got Joe Biden, you know, with his executive order that he's he's he's encouraging all sorts of federal agencies, whether it's Department of Education or Health, Human Services, et cetera, to try to register voters and then to encourage them to vote.
00:18:23.940Where, you know, we don't have any any any trust in them, not using that for partisan advantage.
00:18:31.780I mean, it's not a nonpartisan effort. It's, you know, it's Biden appointees that are pushing this.
00:18:37.320Yeah, there's no such thing, in my opinion, anymore as a bipartisan anything, because the fact is Republican Party is they are AWOL.
00:18:46.400They're missing an action, only they never got to the action.
00:18:50.600It's really stupefying to imagine how they could be doing what they're doing.
00:18:56.040They, the Marxist Dems, they're actually being recruited.
00:19:01.040Those illegal aliens are being recruited to vote.

00:19:07.620And in the federal government, you referred to the Biden executive order that requires every federal agency to get engaged in turning out, quote, quote, turning out the vote.

00:19:52.080And just this week in Wisconsin, they won a victory in Wisconsin with where an Obama appointed judge threw out Mark Elias's suit or ruled against them that that you need a witness to verify an absentee ballot in Wisconsin.
00:20:28.680There's a lot of battles that we have to win because not only do we want to win the battleground states that everyone is identifying with the six or seven that there are.
00:20:42.700They were talking about the Trump campaign where we're running even or ahead in Minnesota with Robert Kennedy and we're tied with without him.
00:21:05.660The Emerson College poll in New Jersey had Donald Trump within five points of Joe Biden in New Jersey.
00:21:12.260And if you didn't believe the poll, take a look at the focus group that he just held in Wildwood, New Jersey, where 100000 people came out, jammed the Garden State Parkway and went down to Wildwood and saw his speech.
00:21:24.380Plus, in New York last month, we had a poll where even though we lost New York State, 61-38, Siena had Trump at 37, Biden at 47.
00:21:39.100And they didn't ask it with Robert Kennedy Jr.
00:21:41.680Robert Kennedy Jr. is a liberal who will take from Joe Biden's base.
00:21:46.200So if he makes the ballot in New York and New Jersey, those two states are in play.
00:21:51.420And you know what I think is contributing to it is the fact that they've got this phony Biden trial where Colangelo, the number three in the Justice Department, was sent, you know, to the Manhattan DA's office.
00:22:06.180The guy, he was number three in justice under Merrick Garland.
00:22:09.220All of a sudden, it's like, I'll take a demotion.

00:25:46.420But it's like I'm focused on it this year because with Donald Trump, what's interesting about with President Trump running is that we're doing better with Gen Z voters.
00:25:57.840And the Democrats are apoplectic about that because certainly with the baby boomers, they've got their political views pretty much set.
00:26:07.320And, you know, the ones who are Republicans will vote Republican.
00:26:09.900The ones who are Democrats will vote Democrat.
00:26:11.500And then the independents, when four to five disapprove of the job that Joe Biden is doing, they're coming our way.
00:26:17.060But in the meantime, you've got a situation where as health care in the United States, because in spite of what the Democrats have tried to do, it's still the best health care system in the world.
00:26:31.140So Americans are living longer and the population is aging.
00:26:36.660But on the other hand, you know, the younger population, if there was optimism, younger Americans would probably be another baby boomer.
00:26:47.920There would be another growth in the United States.
00:26:50.340But right now with inflation, such a big concern with young families.
00:26:56.740Like in our last national poll, we had 86 percent of all voters negatively impacted by inflation, 48 percent to the point where they can't make ends meet.
00:27:06.200You go to the you have young children and you're going to the grocery store and you're paying double what you were compared to what when Donald Trump was president.
00:27:14.640And price of gas is headed for four dollars a gallon.
00:27:17.340Again, you wonder if you can afford that next kid or not.
00:27:20.180And certainly, you know, you're wondering if college education is worth it in the United States, too, when you save up for your kids.
00:27:30.380Yep. You've got a growing aging population because Americans are living longer.
00:27:35.280They're also working longer in a lot of respects.
00:27:38.460But but at the same time, we need some optimism.
00:27:43.000So young people get married and get married, have children.
00:27:47.340The tax system shouldn't penalize them.
00:27:50.260And the one thing that Joe Biden wants to do is in January is repeal the Trump tax cuts.
00:27:54.840So we're going to make sure that doesn't happen.
00:27:57.760You talk about optimism and the fact that the baby boomers are not particularly interested in creating a boom right now because of the economy, because of the the malaise that has fallen over this country over the last few years.
00:28:11.680Donald Trump, interestingly, says, I'm the only thing keeping the stock market higher.
00:28:19.140And I think people's some people, particularly in the national left big media who want to reject everything he says, think that's bravado that it's he's absolutely right.
00:28:29.420If it were not for the anticipation of a Trump presidency as a result of the vote on November 5th, I think the market would be off.
00:28:44.060It would be off at least 20 percent from here.
00:28:46.560And it would be on a decline going into the 2025 once those results were confirmed if he were to lose.
00:28:55.120I mean, it's a disaster waiting to happen.
00:28:57.720I think that there is an implicit understanding, an inference on the part of the the the entire country that without Trump, we don't have a chance in hell.
00:29:09.400You're more of an economic expert than I am.
00:29:11.420I'm I'm good at taking polls and and and I will tell you, during the during the primary part of the Trump campaign this time, which was a historic win, he won that he won the nomination sooner, faster.
00:29:23.280And he and since I'm an old pollster, I used to work for Arthur Finklestein, who was one of the three pollsters used to poll for Reagan.
00:29:30.360So I could go back and look at those polls.
00:29:32.440And Trump's numbers were better than Reagan's.
00:29:35.220I mean, our numbers, the landslide we had in Iowa in the caucus, the decisive double digit win we had in New Hampshire, even with Nikki Haley trying to, you know, outspend us and bring Joe Biden Democrats who vote in Democrat primaries into our primary, still double digit win and then a blowout in Nikki Haley's home state.
00:29:55.520Part of that was an investor class strategy.
00:29:59.820You know, I mean, Larry Kudlow worked in the Trump administration and we're friends and I was talking to Larry and we needed an investor class strategy because we were Trump was doing really well with the working class voters.
00:30:20.320All of a sudden you reminded them about, hey, you did really well when Trump was president and not so well when Biden was president, because up until that point, the markets were flat.
00:30:31.200And until they realized that Trump's ahead in the polls and now the markets are going up again because it'll save the Trump tax cuts.
00:30:39.080Plus, they're talking about other tax cuts, Trump 2.0 to make the economy grow, the economy, the GDP, the economy.
00:30:47.840These are things that you're expert in.
00:30:49.640I'm just watching this and I'm like, economy is not growing under Joe Biden, but your standard of living is declining because your real wages have declined.
00:31:00.720So once we told that to these college graduates, all of a sudden Trump is moving in the Republican primary with college graduates and you're seeing it in the national polls now, particularly among independent voters, where he's definitely, they're looking and they're saying, yep, I may not like his tweets.
00:31:17.520I may not go to the rallies, but you know what?
00:31:20.240I liked looking at my 401k statements when he was president compared to what it was with Joe Biden for the first three years.
00:31:26.860I'm laughing as you're talking about these college graduates and your earlier skepticism that you noted about the quality of a college education.
00:31:35.760I think you just confirm your skepticism because, frankly, you shouldn't have to remind a college graduate how much better off he or she was just a few years ago.
00:31:46.640But that's the nature of the propaganda that is being spewed at them every day by the Biden regime, the Marxist Dems, the deep state, in point of fact.
00:31:58.400The Bureau of Labor Statistics report today, by the way, that just kind of amuses me.
00:32:03.680The Bureau of Labor Statistics has taken coffee out of the market basket of products that are measured for inflation.
00:32:14.100And the reason is, coffee has gone up since last September by 78% in price, and they thought they'd give Biden a little boost if they could.
00:32:24.140And you know that's happening in big ways as well as small ways in the national economic reporting in D.C.
00:32:32.080But it is, it's very amusing to watch how desperate they are.
00:32:36.720Now, this desperation does not right now extend to the House because of Mike Johnson, the speaker who's under, I mean, I have to tell you, I cried, not literally, but I cried at the very idea that Trump would support Mike Johnson, even if he, no matter what the reason.
00:32:56.580Because he is an oaf and a fraud sitting in that office and a traitor to his party, as well as, I think, the country, because of his reversal on whether it be warrantless wiretapping, whether it be federal spending that's rampant.
00:33:16.440And in the other aspect, there is a question about Mitch McConnell.
00:34:21.360You're attracting working-class voters, plus some college grads to these candidates.
00:34:27.000So if Trump wins the presidency, and he wins decisively in the popular vote, he's going to have a Republican House.
00:34:35.160And right now, there's a one-seat majority.
00:34:37.900And the last thing that, you know, those of us associated with the president, we don't need Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker of the House and derailing all the investigations of the Bidens, plus, you know, coming back after Trump or changing the election laws.
00:34:54.520Do you shudder, then, when you hear Mike Johnson say that he's got more in common with Hakeem Jeffries than anyone would suspect?
00:35:03.620I mean, the man—there's another issue here.
00:35:07.040And that's that Republican study group that decides they want to hit the third rail of American politics.
00:35:12.320You know, 50 years apparently wasn't sufficient evidence for them to ascertain what the consequences are when political parties try to change Medicare.
00:35:50.220But we had her saying on tape that the age of retirement was way too low.
00:35:56.280I don't know what it is when the Republicans get inside the beltway.
00:35:59.760The one thing that the middle class—they felt they've paid into with the payroll tax is Social Security and Medicare.
00:36:07.200And the government needs to honor that obligation.
00:36:10.940And the smart economists like Larry Kudlow, Steve Forbes, Art Laffer, Steve Moore, they'll tell you the only way to fix Social Security and Medicare is with economic growth.
00:37:28.160Hopefully, if they stop counting on election day, as they should.
00:37:32.020So, right now, the polls are looking very good for Donald Trump, but we've got a long way to go.
00:37:36.680And the one thing we're going to do is we are going to start voting in every state the day that they open up early voting.
00:37:44.620I predict this year they'll have long lines on the first day of early voting, whatever state it is, because Trump voters are going to come out and they're going to vote in person, just like they do in Florida, just like they do in North Carolina, just like they do in Texas.
00:37:59.720We are going to see a Trump invasion of voters who want to throw Joe Biden out, and we are going to be the ones who drive the early voting, and we're going to be the ones that make sure we win on election day, and that Donald Trump's the next president, and he brings with him a Republican Senate and a Republican House.
