00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update.
00:00:03.260 Over the weekend, we were over in Phoenix, Arizona for AmFest, Turning Point USA,
00:00:08.160 and J.D. Vance gave an absolutely rousing speech yesterday to a packed house, packed to the rafters.
00:00:15.660 In fact, really great speech, but there were some parts that stuck out.
00:00:20.760 J.D. Vance says, the only thing that has truly served as an anchor to the United States of America
00:00:25.160 is that we have been blessed by the grace of God, and we will always be a Christian nation.
00:00:30.780 Take a listen.
00:00:31.900 More than any time I can recount, people are talking about American identity
00:00:36.760 and figuring out what it is that unites us.
00:00:40.580 But I want to say something here.
00:00:42.820 The only thing that has truly served as an anchor of the United States of America
00:00:48.340 is that we have been, and by the grace of God, we always will be a Christian nation.
00:00:55.160 Thank you.
00:01:25.140 Sid, because of course, the fake news media will twist everything that I say.
00:01:29.700 I'm not saying...
00:01:30.960 Do you feel about them the same way I do?
00:01:36.320 I'm not saying you have to be a Christian to be an American.
00:01:39.960 I'm saying something simpler and truer.
00:01:43.760 Christianity is America's creed.
00:01:46.600 The shared moral language from the Revolution to the Civil War and beyond.
00:01:50.600 Across that history, our country's major debates have always centered on how we could best as a people please God.
00:02:00.020 That creed...
00:02:01.720 Think about it.
00:02:04.840 That creed motivated our understanding of natural law and rights, our sense of duty to one's neighbor,
00:02:12.620 the conviction that the strong must protect the weak, and the belief in individual conscience.
00:02:18.380 Even our famously American idea of religious liberty is a Christian concept. 0.99
00:02:26.080 Because we're all creatures of God, we must respect each individual's pathway to that God.
00:02:33.000 But over the last 50 years, there has been a singular focus, a war that has been waged on Christians and Christianity in the United States of America.
00:02:44.340 And let me say, of all the wars that Donald Trump has ended, that is the one we're proudest of.
00:02:55.340 And that, folks, is a man who's lining himself to be the frontrunner for the 2028 nomination for President of the United States.
00:03:03.720 I know it's a ways away, but he's certainly making the case on why he's the best candidate
00:03:10.180 to be the 2028 nominee for the Republican nomination for President of the United States.
00:03:17.700 Thomas Massey is teaming up with Marxist Dem Ro Khanna,
00:03:21.220 and they announced plans to bring inherent contempt charges against A.G. Pam Bondi over the Epstein files.
00:03:29.080 They say they're bringing a bipartisan coalition.
00:03:33.800 Massey, working with the Democrats, you heard that correctly.
00:03:37.380 Under the rarely used congressional power, the House, if Senate, has a sergeant-at-arms or deputy take a person into custody
00:03:44.700 for proceedings to be held in Congress, according to the National Constitution Center.
00:03:49.780 However, it's unclear how effective this would be to face illegal challenges in the executive branch's power.
00:03:57.280 That is the latest in the escalation of saga of threats with Thomas Massey and Ro Khanna
00:04:01.600 claiming that the DOJ has not fully complied with the rule of law due to the redactions in the files
00:04:08.140 and not releasing every document available, of course, the Epstein files, which they're hung up on.
00:04:15.340 Look, we all want the files out. I've called for them since day one.
00:04:18.540 But Thomas Massey teaming up with the Marxist Dems tells you all you need to know, folks.
00:04:22.960 And Marxists, speaking of the Marxist Dems, not just Thomas Massey and Ro Khanna, 0.97
00:04:28.160 left-wing, bullshit-spewing, late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel 0.90
00:04:33.100 might live in Hollywood, California, roughly 5,000 miles from the U.K. 0.98
00:04:39.560 That hasn't stopped him from being tapped to deliver this year's alternative Christmas message
00:04:44.420 across the pond to a local outlet over there.
00:04:47.540 Now, Kimmel, of course, who had his issues this year for being a total lowlife
00:04:51.660 with what he had to say after the assassination of Charlie Kirk,
00:04:57.280 you might be wondering, now we don't usually care what Kimmel has to say,
00:05:00.320 but you might be wondering why we're covering this.
00:05:03.100 And it is because fascist Kimmel is planning to go on that U.K. television
00:05:08.960 and say that it's been a really great year in America for fascism. 0.97
00:05:13.660 All right, the fascist cheering on his fellow fascists.
00:05:18.780 Folks, please be sure to join us tonight, 6 p.m. Eastern Time,
00:05:21.700 for The Great America Show, Rumble YouTube, Twitter, wherever you guys join us.
00:05:24.680 We will be there live from AmFest.
00:05:28.720 We've got some of our great interviews that we did,
00:05:31.040 and we're going to bring them to you tonight and tomorrow.
00:05:33.620 Tonight we'll be joined by Kyle Rittenhouse.
00:05:36.680 All of that and much, much more only on The Great America Show.
00:05:39.140 We'll see you tonight, folks, 6 p.m. Eastern Time.
00:05:41.300 I'm John Fosso with this Midday Update.
