00:00:10.180 Single-day migrant apprehension numbers on the southwest border fall below 200, folks. 200.
00:00:18.660 The apprehensions of migrants along the southwest border with Mexico fell to a historic low last week, late last week, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
00:00:26.120 Agents encountered just 199 migrants on Friday compared to, you ready for this, folks? Almost 4,400 one year earlier.
00:00:35.620 The Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Lt. Chris Olivares posting the stats on Twitter.
00:00:41.260 In El Paso, just 49 crossings. The Rio Grande Valley, 34. Laredo, 32. Del Rio, 16. And Big Ben, just four.
00:00:49.740 The DPS reported that this represents a 95% decrease from the almost 4,400 migrants apprehended on the same day last year.
00:00:58.600 Of the 199 migrants encountered on that Friday, 135 were apprehended in five Texas-based border sectors.

00:01:29.900 Rasmussen, which is one of the most accurate pollsters in America, surveyed almost 1,200 likely voters between February 16th and 18th,

00:01:39.500 Do you approve or disapprove of the Trump administration's program to find and deport immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally?
00:01:47.100 62% said they are strongly in favor of it, 41% somewhat, 21% approve.
00:01:54.080 Only 36% say he said somewhat, and 14% said they strongly disapprove.
00:02:00.280 So, Americans are overwhelmingly in favor of President Trump's border policy.

00:03:17.520 The use of the hotel has been embroiled in controversy after Elon Musk revealed that $59 million was sent in early February
00:03:23.940 by Deke State activists within FEMA to house illegal aliens in luxury New York hotels, including the Roosevelt Hotel.
00:03:33.020 Effective immediately, FEMA is terminating the employment of four individuals who circumvented leadership
00:03:38.480 and unilaterally made the egregious payment for that luxury New York City hotel for the migrants.

00:03:49.140 The Roosevelt Hotel was opened up in May of 2023 during the height of the crisis,
00:03:52.860 with the city receiving an average of 4,000 arrivals each week.
00:03:57.160 Now, thanks to the policies of Donald J. Trump, New York is receiving just about 350 arrivals each week.

00:04:09.800 And a judge, a federal judge this week, denied the Associated Press's emergency motion to restore its access to the White House press pool.
00:04:18.780 U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden, who's a Trump appointee, denied the Associated Press's emergency motion,
00:04:24.520 but ordered an expedite consideration of the matter.
00:04:27.880 Earlier this month, you folks probably remember Trump took decisive action against the far-left Associated Press,
00:04:32.720 who's supposed to be non-biased, by the way, to hit back against their refusal to acknowledge the administration's directive.
00:04:39.020 This comes after the AP blatantly ignored an executive order renaming the Gulf of Mexico to, you know it, folks, the Gulf of America.
