In today's show: President Trump cancels all traces of last year's turkey pardons, Rep. Eric Swalwell files a lawsuit against a federal housing finance agency director, and the FBI investigates Democratic lawmakers who allegedly filmed a video encouraging what they call "illegal orders" from President Trump.
00:00:00.000Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Tuesday, November 25th.
00:00:05.300Happy Tuesday, folks. President Trump earlier today doing his annual, for every president, their annual pardoning of the turkeys.
00:00:14.100President Trump having some choice words today before signing the pardon for that lucky turkey who won't be killed.
00:00:21.720And on someone's kitchen table this Thanksgiving, take a listen to President Trump poking some fun at Joe Biden and Hunter Biden. Here he is.
00:00:29.480Before going any further, I want to make an important announcement because you remember last year after a thorough and very rigorous investigation by Pam Bondi and all of the people at Department of Justice, the FBI, the CIA, the White House Counsel's Office and the Department of Everything.
00:00:52.500We have a Department of Everything. You know what that is? I think that's called the White House.
00:00:58.040Into a terrible situation caused by a man named Sleepy Joe Biden.
00:01:03.640He used an auto pen last year for the turkey's pardon.
00:01:07.260So I have the official duty to determine and I have determined that last year's turkey pardons are totally invalid.
00:01:17.560As are the pardons of about every other person that was pardoned other than where's Hunter?
00:01:25.760No, Hunter's was good. That was the one pardon, Pam, that was good. Right.
00:01:28.940The rest of them are all invalid. I don't know what the hell you're going to do about that.
00:01:32.080But that's now we're going to take a little of the joking. That is a mess.
00:01:36.260But they're hereby null and void. The turkeys known as Peach and Blossom last year have been located and they were on their way to be processed.
00:01:46.420In other words, to be killed. But I have stopped that journey and I am officially pardoning them.
00:01:53.060And they will not be served for Thanksgiving dinner. We saved them in the nick of time.
00:01:59.780This one has plenty of time, but they were saved in the nick of time.
00:02:02.620President Trump in his ever so Trump humor, pardoning those turkeys and having a little fun with Hunter Biden.
00:02:11.580So Eric Swalwell wants to run for governor of California after declaring his candidacy last Thursday.
00:02:18.780In an apparent effort to save his campaign today, Swalwell has filed a civil lawsuit against federal housing finance agency director Bill Pulte,
00:02:28.560alleging violations of a Privacy Act and First Amendment in action.
00:02:33.060Even though Swalwell's mortgage is publicly available online, Swalwell claims that Pulte's referral, his criminal referral for, of course, mortgage fraud,
00:02:41.500was based on politics and it was politically motivated and it was a misuse of government databases.
00:02:48.640Swalwell claims that Pulte, quote, used those records to concoct allegations of mortgage fraud,
00:02:54.680which he referred to the Justice Department for prosecution.
00:02:57.960So is Swalwell coming out and telling us that he committed mortgage fraud and he knows he committed mortgage fraud,
00:03:04.320but he's mad that Pulte's going after him?
00:03:06.780I'm not entirely sure what that lawsuit means, but definitely a sign of desperation for Eric Swalwell,
