00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Wednesday, April 30th.

00:00:04.520 Happy Wednesday, folks.

00:00:06.140 President Trump's first hundred days now in the rearview mirror as we look to the next hundred days

00:00:10.520 and the next three-plus years of President Trump in the Oval Office with his great administration.

00:00:15.660 In a fiery Oval Office interview marking that hundred-day milestone of his second term,

00:00:20.900 President Trump tore into ABC News anchor Terry Moran

00:00:24.340 while defending his administration's tough stance on illegal immigration.

00:00:27.820 The interview aired last night quickly escalated into a heated exchange over that Supreme Court order

00:00:34.360 involving that illegal immigrant, exposing the media's bias and Trump's unwavering commitment for border security.

00:00:41.160 The confrontation was centered around Kilmar Abrego Garcia, that Salvadorian illegal immigrant

00:00:45.600 and member of MS-13, who was deborted by the Trump administration despite his protective order.

00:00:51.900 We'll put that protective order into air quotes.

00:00:54.180 Moran, who was the interviewer, pressed Donald Trump on the Supreme Court's ruling to facilitate Garcia's return

00:01:00.920 to the United States, accusing the administration of violating the rule of law.

00:01:05.780 President Trump didn't mince any words when talking about Abrego Garcia,

00:01:10.820 doubling down in fact that he will no longer be allowed back in this country,

00:01:15.340 and President Trump saying he will not facilitate any sort of return.

00:01:19.060 Take a listen to the heated exchange.

00:01:20.880 And now the Supreme Court has upheld an order that you must return him to facilitate his return to the United States.

00:01:28.340 What are you doing to comply?

00:01:29.220 Well, the lawyer that said it was a mistake was here a long time, was not appointed by us,

00:01:35.140 should not have said that, should not have said that.

00:01:38.100 And just so you understand, the person that you're talking about, you know, you're making this person sound,

00:01:42.480 this is a MS-13 gang member, a tough cookie, been in lots of skirmishes, beat the hell out of his wife,

00:01:50.920 and the wife was petrified to even talk about him, okay?

00:01:54.000 This is not an innocent, wonderful gentleman from Maryland.

00:01:57.020 I'm not saying he's a good guy.

00:01:58.460 It's about the rule of law.

00:01:59.560 The order from the Supreme Court stands, sir.

00:02:01.700 You came into our country illegally. 1.00

00:02:03.440 You could get him back.

00:02:04.300 There's a phone on this desk.

00:02:05.760 I could.

00:02:06.120 You could pick it up, and with all the power of the presidency, you could call up the president of El Salvador and say,

00:02:10.860 send him back right now.

00:02:12.020 And if he were the gentleman that you say he is, I would do that.

00:02:15.340 But the court has ordered you to facilitate that.

00:02:18.280 That news anchor should have known you don't walk into a lion's den and expect to pet a kitten.

00:02:24.700 For lack of a better analogy, I think that suits it pretty well.

00:02:28.280 Pretty unprepared for Morant to think he was going to go in there and school Donald Trump on immigration,

00:02:33.020 let alone school him on anything.

00:02:34.680 The Marxist radical judges who are ruining this country added again, 1.00

00:02:38.900 a radical judge has stepped in to free a Hamas-loving student

00:02:42.720 after the Trump administration arrested him in the process of trying to become a U.S. citizen.

00:02:47.600 Columbia University student in motion, Madhuali, a U.S. permanent resident who was born and raised in West Bank,

00:02:54.540 was detained on earlier this month by the Department of Homeland Security

00:02:57.780 during a citizenship interview in Vermont.

00:03:00.520 Madhuali has supported Hamas terrorists and bullied those who did not share his faith.

00:03:05.480 He's also the co-founder of Columbia's Palestinian Student Union.

00:03:08.960 He's a vocal critic of Israel defending itself against Hamas,

00:03:12.400 an organization protesting at Columbia University until March of 2024,

00:03:17.480 before he stepped away for unspecific reasons.

00:03:20.540 The Trump administration used a rarely used provision in immigration law that permits it to remove aliens

00:03:25.900 who pose serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the United States.

00:03:30.840 Supporting Hamas in their cruel war against Israel certainly qualifies. 0.94

00:03:35.440 This fellow planned to return to Columbia University in the fall for a master's degree,

00:03:39.540 but he would not have the chance unless a Democrat judge has intervened.

00:03:43.200 And unfortunately, that has just happened.

00:03:44.960 A federal judge in Burlington, Vermont, no less, stepped in and ordered his immediate release from custody.

00:03:51.260 Quote,

00:03:52.280 Two weeks of detention so far demonstrate great harm to a person who has been charged with no crime.

00:03:58.340 This according to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Crawford.

00:04:01.900 Folks, you'll never guess who appointed him.

00:04:04.540 Well, maybe you can guess.

00:04:05.560 You've got like three or four options to pick from.

00:04:08.820 It was Barack Hussein Obama.

00:04:10.520 The judge says,

00:04:12.120 Mr. Madwali, I will release you.

00:04:14.640 And so these Marxist, unelected federal judges continue to unleash havoc on America

00:04:18.940 as if they're going to save this country against the big bad orange man. 0.97

00:04:23.300 At least that's what they see in their eyes. 1.00

00:04:25.660 A group of sick, sick people who mean to harm America. 1.00

00:04:28.720 And they're doing exactly that, folks, 0.99

00:04:31.200 with these constant rulings just to go against the Trump administration. 0.99

00:04:35.060 Truly, truly sick people. 0.62

00:04:37.160 We hope to get that thing turned around and get it, you know, back to where we need to be.
