00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs, and great to have you with us here on The Great America Show. Welcome.
00:00:06.040 Now, it's about three weeks till Election Day, 23 days to be precise, and history is rushing at us full speed.
00:00:14.620 It's possible, I suppose, to exaggerate the importance of this election, but I can't quite think how in this moment.
00:00:21.580 It is, I believe, truly the existential election that will determine our future as Americans, our national destiny.
00:00:29.760 It's that important, at the very least.
00:00:32.740 Please be sure to vote in person on November 8 if you can at all.
00:00:37.000 It's important to make all our votes count.
00:00:40.180 Meanwhile, our southern border remains wide open.
00:00:42.940 Four million illegal aliens have crossed that border at the invitation of President Joe Biden,
00:00:48.740 and he explicitly keeps that border open for the Mexican drug cartels to carry out their lucrative trade.
00:00:56.040 Sex trafficking, smuggling of illegals, and deadly drugs, particularly fentanyl, to poison and to kill hundreds of thousands of Americans,
00:01:06.320 to make addicts of even more.
00:01:08.260 And crooked Joe Biden does nothing to stop those mass murders and devastation wrought by Communist China's export of fentanyl precursors 0.99
00:01:17.980 and the Mexican drug cartels' distribution of death and addiction throughout America. 0.86
00:01:24.340 The puppet Biden says nothing, and worse, he does nothing.
00:01:28.200 America doesn't hold China to account. 0.63
00:01:32.120 Not for the deadly and destructive drugs.
00:01:35.220 Not for the deadly virus that has killed millions around the world.
00:01:39.680 No consequence for unleashing that deadly virus and choosing not to warn the world.
00:01:44.860 The man who decided not to warn the planet, who could have saved countless lives,
00:01:51.120 is this weekend becoming perhaps the most powerful Chinese leader since Mao.
00:01:56.540 The 20th Congress of the Chinese Communist Party will confer a third five-year term as General Secretary of the Party
00:02:05.000 and President of the People's Republic of China on Xi Jinping.
00:02:09.620 He will be an all-but-titled emperor of the world's most populous nation,
00:02:15.320 and his rule, his absolute power, will extend for an unprecedented third term.
00:02:22.100 With us today is Asia expert, author, columnist, radio host, Gordon Chang.
00:02:27.540 Gordon, great to have you back with us on The Great America Show.
00:02:31.000 There's a lot in China to talk about, but it's been some time since we last talked,
00:02:35.940 and I want to get your reaction to the Mar-a-Lago raid and how our adversary, China,
00:02:41.740 views what is now rampant political corruption throughout our government.
00:02:48.460 This looks extremely political.
00:02:50.700 We got an FBI that has left Hillary Clinton alone, for instance, for the server issue. 1.00
00:02:56.880 That server was actually a national security risk because the Chinese could have easily accessed it. 1.00
00:03:04.200 And Hunter Biden, I mean, it's clear that there is federal tax evasion, but there has been nothing done about it.
00:03:12.080 So, you know, the Justice Department, the Biden administration, has an extremely high bar right now
00:03:17.800 to show that this was the impartial administration of justice.
00:03:21.740 I don't think they're going to meet that, Lou.
00:03:23.220 Yeah, I don't know how they would meet it, but it would require someone believing anything that this FBI said,
00:03:34.620 believing anything that this Justice Department said, because both are known, proved, and certified liars
00:03:41.140 over the course of the past six years of their political persecution of Donald Trump.
00:03:45.860 They are the perpetrators.
00:03:49.120 They are the transgressors.
00:03:51.620 In instance after instance, whether it be a special counsel investigation, whether it be the Russian collusion,
00:03:58.300 Spygate investigation, in all instances, they knew what they were doing.
00:04:03.840 They knew what was true and what was not.
00:04:06.020 And they proceeded as if the lies were reality.
00:04:11.740 It is, and then told their own lies and obfuscated and worse, as they fraudulently signed FISA documents,
00:04:21.120 put together fraudulent 302s at the FBI.
00:04:25.960 It's been an appalling, an appalling record of corruption on the part of these two agencies.
00:04:31.700 What is, when you are in the world, what are our allies, what are our enemies thinking?
00:04:41.200 I think that they're looking at the United States and saying that the political system,
00:04:45.500 the justice system is in disarray because they can see what you just talked about.
00:04:50.300 I mean, it was obvious that the FBI has a bandana against President Trump,
00:04:54.520 and they have not let it go, even though he is far from office.
00:04:59.140 I think that essentially people around the world are worried about the stability of the U.S.,
00:05:05.880 something that was never questioned before, but is certainly being questioned now for the reasons that you point out.
00:05:12.880 Well, there's every reason to worry about the stability of this country,
00:05:17.320 because all of us in this country who care about this great republic, this nation, our people,
00:05:24.780 you have to be concerned.
00:05:26.540 And, by the way, that's one of, I believe, the object lessons here about what the Marxist Dems,
00:05:34.300 who are driving the Democratic Party, mean to be the effect.
00:05:38.660 They are trying to bully, to intimidate, and to silence the Republican voices, the Trump supporters' voices,
00:05:47.800 and, yes, even suppress the Republican vote in what looks to be an overwhelming red wave election on November 8th.
00:05:56.800 But all of this is intended, it seems clearly to me, to stifle that vote and certainly cut it back with straight-out intimidation efforts.
00:06:11.180 Yes. And, by the way, this attempt to stifle conservative voices and to stifle Republican voices is being fueled not only by the Democratic Party,
00:06:22.740 but also by the Chinese and the Russians who are meddling in our political system more than they have been before.
00:06:31.080 And we know, just from reading their propaganda, whose side they're on.
00:06:36.300 And they're not on the side of conservatives.
00:06:38.300 They're not on the side of President Trump.
00:06:40.000 And that's because they were concerned about President Trump.
00:06:43.660 They love Joe Biden.
00:06:45.520 And so, right now, they're just having a feast, as they would call it.
00:06:49.540 The disinformation campaigns that they are running, you know, I love the way the intelligence community and the group at Homeland Security
00:07:01.180 talks about our elections not having been, you know, in any way disrupted by the Russians or the Chinese or the Iranians or whomever.
00:07:10.980 The fact is, they're trying very hard to do so with disinformation campaigns.
00:07:17.960 And now, with the war in Ukraine, six months of war, they are clearly, clearly carrying out those campaigns with greater energy all of the time.
00:07:29.580 The Chinese, the Chinese are dominating because they have allies they've bought lock, stock, and barrel, whether on Wall Street or in corporate America, 1.00
00:07:41.660 if we can still say corporate America, about many of these huge multinational corporations.
00:07:48.980 Don't you agree?
00:07:50.420 Oh, absolutely.
00:07:51.400 And, you know, we have a globalist culture in many of these multinationals.
00:07:56.880 They don't see themselves as Americans.
00:07:58.600 They see themselves as businesses of the world.
00:08:02.180 And they too often bow down to Beijing.
00:08:06.100 We've had a number of examples of this.
00:08:08.120 Most recently, Tim Cook of Apple telling Apple suppliers in Taiwan to put the made-in-China label on products that are, in fact, made in Taiwan.
00:08:18.400 I mean, you could only do this if you felt that you were trying to further the interests of the Communist Party.
00:08:24.680 You know, one time we had captains of industry who actually believed they were Americans.
00:08:31.780 Now, that's not the case.
00:08:33.600 It's not the case.
00:08:36.060 And when you say Tim Cook wanted to have those labels, it's actually a requirement of the CCP that they do so.
00:08:45.800 It's been long understood and also long observed in the breach.
00:08:50.200 But Cook is falling, too.
00:08:53.600 And what should concern many Americans, and certainly Tim Cook, is that we are so dependent.
00:09:01.060 Apple, for example, the world's richest corporation, really, is absolutely dependent on Chinese labor, on Foxconn in China.
00:09:14.840 It is – there are the possibilities here for disruption are just so large and so important that they're almost unthinkable.
00:09:28.140 Apple is interesting because it's doing very little to diversify out of China.
00:09:34.080 Yes, it did move some iPad production to Vietnam.
00:09:37.640 But for the most part, it has decided not to diversify its supply chain from China.
00:09:43.220 And that means that it is going to remain lock, stock, and barrel owned by Beijing, in effect.
00:09:52.280 And this is a conscious decision on the part of Cupertino not to protect the supply chain.
00:09:58.340 You know, Lou, we saw with the attention over Speaker Pelosi's visit to Taiwan that shipping lanes and air lanes were actually disrupted during those Chinese exercises that bracketed the island.
00:10:11.980 And that's a warning to companies that in the time of tension with China, which is obviously coming, they will not be able to reliably shift goods across the Pacific, either by air or by sea.
00:10:25.260 And that means, as you point out, we could get cut off of some critically needed goods, such as pharmaceuticals or active pharmaceutical ingredients.
00:10:35.440 And we don't know to what degree the Biden administration will respond to the Chinese threats and intimidation and their military hissy fit where they put that show on in the Straits of Taiwan and around the island of Taiwan.
00:10:55.440 It is, again, intimidation, and it's very likely that this president, who is already soft on China in every way imaginable, as well as compromised by them, most assuredly, it's pretty certain that he will, as the saying is, become increasingly popular as more people do it when it comes to Communist China, take a knee.
00:11:22.120 He will take a knee.
00:11:52.100 To become even more dire sounding, to increase the tempo of threats regarding the speaker's visit to Taiwan.
00:12:00.080 And that really, Biden opened the door.
00:12:02.860 And we're also pretty sure about something else, Lou.
00:12:06.340 And that is, somebody leaked this trip to the Financial Times, which was the first time we learned about the speaker's trip.
00:12:14.280 Most people in Washington think it was somebody from the Biden administration because they didn't want Pelosi to go to Taipei, and so they wanted to create a controversy.
00:12:26.020 So, in other words, this tension, which we have seen over the last week and a half, is really the result of the Biden administration being intimidated by China.
00:12:35.520 And one more thing, Lou, there was a scheduled test of an intercontinental ballistic missile that the Pentagon was going to conduct.
00:12:43.220 Biden decides to postpone it because he's worried about the reaction from China.
00:12:49.180 So we know that the Chinese can intimidate him. 1.00
00:12:52.060 We know that Vladimir Putin can intimidate him because we've seen this in the American reaction to the invasion of Ukraine.
00:12:58.620 This is a president who all you have to say is, boo, and he will not defend the American republic.
00:13:07.660 Well, there's a condition preceding to that.
00:13:11.320 If you say boo, you have to be also a client state of Hunter Biden to get your way.
00:13:19.240 He's compromised with China in every way.
00:13:22.320 Apparently, Hunter Biden still has a 10% stake in the CCP firm, still active.
00:13:31.220 He's still flying with his father, even though there's a four-year-long investigation going on about Hunter Biden.
00:13:39.720 By the way, an investigation of his business activities that clearly and unequivocally, without any doubt whatsoever, involve his father, the big guy, the 10-percenter,
00:13:50.340 which means he's been a grafter for most of his life.
00:13:59.080 He and Hunter Biden, his son, and James Biden, his brother, this is a crime family.
00:14:07.060 There's no one who is in any way under any illusion about it.
00:14:10.960 A crime family.
00:14:12.120 He's sitting there as a president because he lied.
00:14:16.120 He lied as a presidential candidate while the attorney general of the United States knew he was lying and didn't have either the guts or the integrity to step up and say so.
00:14:28.400 He changed history, and he did so with the complicity and support of the entire U.S. intelligence community.
00:14:36.360 Fifty-one of them, five former CIA directors, as you well know, sending out a letter that brought down an iron curtain of silence in this country,
00:14:48.540 brought down on big tech, social media, legacy publishing, and media outlets owned by large corporations
00:14:58.660 who are already aligned better with Joe Biden than certainly Donald Trump.
00:15:03.700 We are missing the destruction of the country by this one crime family.
00:15:10.740 Crime family is absolutely the right term. 1.00
00:15:14.040 And we know that Joe Biden as a candidate lied, as you pointed out,
00:15:17.720 because there is the voicemail on Hunter Biden's laptop from hell, which has the candidate's voice saying,
00:15:25.740 look, you know, you're going to be OK about the about the New York Times story about Hunter Biden's foreign business dealings.
00:15:33.600 So when Joe Biden said that he had no conversations at all with his son about his son's foreign business dealings,
00:15:40.580 we know, as you as you just said, that Joe Biden lied to the American people.
00:15:45.800 And that lie was consequential. It was material because it helped get him into 1600 Pennsylvania.
00:15:52.260 He lied his way into the Oval Office.
00:15:55.700 Yeah, absolutely. And he had the support of the deep state, the intelligence community,
00:16:01.420 and the corporate led media who are no friend, obviously, of Donald Trump.
00:16:10.160 I want to I want to go to the issue of the of the tariffs as well.
00:16:15.760 But here we go. He's up. Biden wants to take another knee.
00:16:19.840 He may want to do somersaults for all I know, but he wants those tariffs to go away.
00:16:25.060 And and Nancy Pelosi's trip complicates everything, doesn't it?
00:16:30.460 Because Taiwan suddenly became the epicenter of a paroxysm of the CCP history clashing with current ambitions of the great Xi Jinping.
00:16:46.360 It is just a masterpiece of confusion right now in the in the Biden White House.
00:16:52.580 Yes, it's not always a masterpiece of confusion is sometimes it's just regular old confusion. 0.99
00:16:57.220 But we're watching a president who doesn't know how to give up everything to the Chinese without looking like the the the grafter he is and the fool that he is and the puppet he is. 0.99
00:17:12.860 Yes. I mean, before the speaker went to Taipei, it was clear the Biden administration was going to, in one way or another, lift those Section 301 tariffs that President Trump imposed in 2018. 0.95
00:17:27.480 And we got to remember that these tariffs were imposed as a remedy for the theft of U.S. intellectual property.
00:17:33.960 We know that China steals somewhere in the vicinity of a half trillion dollars a year in U.S. IP.
00:17:40.360 That estimate came from John Ratcliffe when he was director of national intelligence in December of 2020.
00:17:48.400 Some people say it's more. Some people say it's less. But we're talking hundreds of billions of dollars.
00:17:53.600 Biden, during this whole conversation about lifting tariffs, has not once mentioned the the the theft of U.S. intellectual property and what he would do if he were to lift those tariffs.
00:18:05.780 By the way, lifting those tariffs is going to do nothing for inflation for two reasons.
00:18:11.400 First of all, sellers of goods don't drop their prices when their costs go down.
00:18:17.180 They only drop their prices when the demand for their products goes down.
00:18:21.580 So that's one thing. And the other.
00:18:23.620 And we should tell Janet Yellen that, too, because the Treasury secretary obviously doesn't understand how business works. 1.00
00:18:29.020 The second thing is China absorbed about 80 percent of the cost of these tariffs in 2018 when they were first imposed.
00:18:38.320 China did that by direct subsidies to export oriented factories, also by messing with their currency.
00:18:45.240 Surprise, surprise.
00:18:46.700 So lifting these tariffs, if Biden goes ahead and does that, really is going to be a direct benefit to the Chinese central government's Treasury, not to the American consumers.
00:18:58.140 So these idea of lifting tariffs is just misguided from the very beginning.
00:19:05.100 And it's it's interesting that it is a Chinese demand primarily, although Wall Street certainly and the AMA and the Business Roundtable all would be just very happy to go back to business as usual.
00:19:20.260 That is an adorned theft of, as you say, a half trillion dollars in intellectual property and technology every year trading in and our military secrets.
00:19:33.700 People have noticed that the latest generation of Chinese fighter aircraft look a lot like the F-35.
00:19:40.820 They've noticed a number of similarities in every military advancement that are akin to ours.
00:19:49.220 And we know, too, and as you and I have talked to many times over the years, we have enough CCP front companies operating in this country to to to to people a small industrialized nation.
00:20:06.800 It's it's it's amazing.
00:20:08.720 And we're watching them buying up our farmland.
00:20:12.060 They're buying up food processing plants.
00:20:14.760 They are putting themselves in proximity with some purchases to our air bases without a response from the Biden administration of any any kind.
00:20:25.260 Gordon.
00:20:25.500 Yes, this this perspective corn milling plant, which is within 12 miles of the Grand Forks Air Force base, is really stunning that there's been no reaction from the Treasury Department, no reaction from the White House.
00:20:41.480 That base is extremely sensitive because it has satellite uplink facilities and many of our drones are actually controlled from Grand Forks.
00:20:52.320 And yet the Chinese were permitted to buy to buy 300 acres in the Jason to Grand Forks Air Force base.
00:21:00.420 And now they have the announced plans of putting in a corn milling plant.
00:21:04.600 And this is no one off because we've got a Chinese former Chinese military officer who bought land in Texas near Laughlin Air Force base.
00:21:13.680 So this is becoming endemic and the Biden administration is not showing a pulse.
00:21:19.320 Yeah, it's well, it's not showing a pulse, but it's certainly showing various other parts of anatomy.
00:21:27.960 I'll put it that way.
00:21:29.180 This administration, you just don't hear about Jake Sullivan.
00:21:33.060 You don't hear about Tony Blinken.
00:21:34.600 You don't hear from Lloyd Austin and still unless it's one of his pompous, inane comments about CRT or inclusion in the military as his recruiters can't find even 60 percent enough people to to staff our military, particularly the Army.
00:21:55.480 What do you make of these people?
00:21:57.880 The national security is critically important right now.
00:22:01.100 I know the focus is right now, certainly in the news on President Trump.
00:22:06.060 They want to destroy him.
00:22:07.680 They're doing everything they can to do so.
00:22:10.260 But meanwhile, they also want to destroy the country.
00:22:13.520 And they're looking at looks to me like they're out looking for the best partner to do so.
00:22:20.200 And they seem to be pushing themselves directly toward the CCP.
00:22:25.840 What do you think?
00:22:26.740 Clearly, China is preparing for war and the Biden administration doesn't seem to notice.
00:22:35.100 You have the Chinese pressing in India with Chinese troops below the line of actual control in Indian controlled territory, preparing for another attack in the South China Sea.
00:22:47.620 It's second Thomas Shoal of the Philippines. 0.85
00:22:50.080 The Chinese are trying to grab that feature from Manila. 0.54
00:22:53.760 A couple of Fridays ago, you had four Chinese warships loitering in Japanese territorial water around the Senkakus in the East China Sea.
00:23:01.580 For the last six to eight weeks, there's been this intensified air campaign of dangerous intercepts of allied craft.
00:23:10.100 And then, of course, the tension over Taiwan.
00:23:13.000 Clearly, China is moving towards conflict.
00:23:16.140 And yet we don't see the Biden administration noticing this.
00:23:20.180 Matter of fact, what we see, as I just talked about, is Biden not taking not going forward with tests like of the ICBM.
00:23:28.780 This is really dangerous. And when history looks back at this period, they're going to wonder why the Biden administration was absolutely determined not to prepare for what is obviously coming.
00:23:40.480 As James Lilly, our great ambassador to Beijing at the end of the 1980s, said, the Chinese always telegraphed their punches.
00:23:49.520 Well, Lou, the Chinese are now telegraphing their punches, but nobody in the Oval Office seems to be looking at it. 0.53
00:23:55.920 Well, they're not. And I don't know what to make of them.
00:24:02.240 On one level, it's impossible to take them seriously.
00:24:05.460 But the danger and the catastrophe that awaits us if we ignore what they're doing is too immense.
00:24:13.000 This is China right now has expanded trade with Russia 30 percent just in the first half of this year.
00:24:21.380 Lord knows where this partnership, this strategic partnership is headed.
00:24:26.160 But it's very clear that India is also now an ambiguous entity as to whether it will align with China or with the West.
00:24:37.540 Your take, your judgment.
00:24:41.020 In the Trump administration, India was clearly aligned with the United States.
00:24:45.920 What happened, Lou, is the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan.
00:24:51.080 India was one of the big supporters of the Afghan government.
00:24:55.240 We left behind information of Afghans who are cooperating not only with the United States, but with New Delhi.
00:25:02.580 And what this has done is it has delegitimized America's friends in the national security establishment in the Indian capital.
00:25:11.880 It has really bolstered the pro-Russia forces.
00:25:16.500 And so we have an India now that looks, as you say, not aligned with Washington anymore.
00:25:23.080 This is the direct result, the direct result of the failure in Afghanistan by the Biden administration.
00:25:30.280 And it's important to remind everyone there's two developments that are important to keep in mind when it comes to China.
00:25:41.540 One is China's tense relationship in terms of its border with India is one concern.
00:25:49.600 But Russia has a longstanding, more than half-century-long relationship with India.
00:25:58.120 And we, as you say, under Trump, we're moving forward with establishing a new direction for India, that direction they have obviously given up on under this administration,
00:26:10.500 as have so many countries dealing with the United States after Afghanistan.
00:26:14.900 It is, it seems to me, so important that the national security team surface here.
00:26:24.660 But as the demands upon them grow, the less we see of them, the less we hear from them.
00:26:31.880 Where is Blinken?
00:26:33.340 Where is Jake Sullivan and Lloyd Austin?
00:26:36.280 They are running like, running for the shadows at every opportunity.
00:26:42.780 And there is no clear, quote-unquote, Biden foreign policy.
00:26:48.980 Yes, and our allies and friends around the world are noticing this.
00:26:54.240 And the reason why, for instance, Taiwan is so important is because after Afghanistan, after Ukraine, Taiwan has become the test, the test of American credibility.
00:27:06.520 And if we were to fail there, then it wouldn't mean just catastrophe in East Asia.
00:27:11.660 It would be catastrophe everywhere because people would see that the United States is not a good friend.
00:27:17.200 It won't honor its commitments.
00:27:18.720 And so, therefore, we have a lot at stake regarding the China-Taiwan controversy.
00:27:25.700 And we need a president who recognizes that.
00:27:29.080 Certainly, as you point out, a national security advisor, a secretary of state, and a defense secretary who understand how critical this moment is.
00:27:40.180 How critical is this moment?
00:27:42.100 There is so much semiconductor power on that island that is essential to both China and the United States, indeed the world.
00:27:56.860 We have even been, it's incredible, but we have been exporting our semiconductor manufacturing tools and processes to China.
00:28:09.460 And there was a threat, at least a momentary threat, that we would stop that.
00:28:15.700 But I guess somebody in the Biden administration figured out, what the heck, these are Biden's good friends.
00:28:20.840 What are we doing?
00:28:22.320 And Taiwan, Nancy Pelosi says we'll support Taiwan.
00:28:26.260 Joe Biden says the hell we will.
00:28:28.840 What does Gordon Chang say?
00:28:31.400 Should we or should we not protect, defend, and make an unequivocal statement that we will, given its importance and given just our moral and historical obligations?
00:28:44.580 We have to defend Taiwan, though, for a number of reasons.
00:28:47.900 And it's not just we get our semiconductors from there.
00:28:50.940 All right. Since for more than 100 years, since the 1800s, we Americans have drawn our Western defense perimeter, not off the coast of Hawaii or even off the coast of Guam.
00:29:05.100 It's been drawn off the coast of East Asia.
00:29:08.200 Taiwan is in the center of that perimeter.
00:29:11.140 It's where the South China Sea and East China Sea meets.
00:29:14.480 It is, as Admiral King said after World War II, the cork in the bottle.
00:29:20.320 But there's something more important, and that is that at this moment, China is not only attacking our democracy, it's not only attacking other democracies, it's attacking the whole notion of democracy. 0.77
00:29:33.100 And we can't allow China to absorb any democracy, especially one as important as Taiwan. 0.96
00:29:38.660 And as you just mentioned, Taiwan, for other reasons, for the failures of the Biden administration, has become the test of American credibility.
00:29:48.620 You put all those things together and you come to the conclusion that defending Taiwan is defending America.
00:29:55.440 We shouldn't be at this place, but that's where we are due to some really bad policies over the last two years.
00:30:01.640 That and the overwhelming, if you will, observation and ironic observation that while we're talking about defending Taiwan and its democracy, its importance to democracy and defense for the United States and the Western world, we are not defending democracy in America.
00:30:28.000 We are losing our constitutional republic.
00:30:31.640 We are permitting a president and an entire administration to run amok, to trample our rights, and to spit on our constitution.
00:30:43.840 And unless we defend this one, we will be in sore shape to defend any other.
00:30:49.880 And not only will this country change forever, but the entire world, as you say.
00:30:55.460 Gordon Chang, we always appreciate talking to you.
00:30:58.760 We thank you so much for being with us.
00:31:00.240 We always give our guests, as you know, the last word.
00:31:05.020 Please, please have the last word.
00:31:07.940 Well, Lou, after what you just said, I don't think there's anything more that can be said.
00:31:12.740 But, you know, just to reiterate something, and that is we are at a moment where we could lose our country.
00:31:21.160 We can lose it for the internal reasons that you just mentioned.
00:31:24.500 We could lose it because of our external enemies, because the administration, the Oval Office, doesn't recognize the enemies that America now faces.
00:31:34.120 So the American people on November 8th and again in 2024 are going to have to make critical decisions, decisions upon which our future depends, because we will lose our country the way things are going.
00:31:48.360 I truly believe, Gordon, and I promised I'd give you the last word, but you gave us also a second date, 2024.
00:31:58.000 I truly believe that November, and I know a lot of people like to conclude their shows and their discussions with some optimistic and bright outlook.
00:32:09.320 But I have to be realistic.
00:32:11.560 I'm neither pessimistic or optimistic.
00:32:14.420 I am looking at the world as I see it and I think as it is.
00:32:18.060 We, on November 8th, 2022, will be making an existential decision for our country, or we'll be making a decision against it.
00:32:30.320 2024, if we don't get it right on November 8th, 2022, I doubt seriously there will be an important election in 2024.
00:32:40.520 I promised you the last word, and please, let's try it again and I'll shut up. 0.78
00:32:46.100 Lou, I can't top that, so let your word be the last one.
00:32:51.800 Okay, Gordon, you're a good friend.
00:32:53.960 Thanks so much.
00:32:55.160 I appreciate it, as always, your insights and your knowledge.
00:32:59.100 Thanks for sharing them with us, with me and our great audience.
00:33:05.500 Thanks.
00:33:05.920 Gordon Chang, God bless you.
