00:00:52.580 a wonderful catechism which answers all the modern questions we have in the Church.
00:00:58.140 I was speaking with Alexander Chuguel the other day,
00:01:00.740 and he mentioned how it's a great manual for apologetics,
00:01:03.600 in addition to teaching our children and everything else.
00:01:05.600 But for all of you wondering how to answer the tough questions on all of the issues we have today,
00:01:10.460 and all of the sticky issues especially,
00:01:12.740 the answers are right there, very clear, concise, beautiful.
00:01:15.400 We're also here to talk with Bishop Schneider about the current controversy.
00:01:20.620 During the Synod, we didn't hear that much.
00:01:22.640 There was a block in communications, of course.
00:01:24.400 But from the outset of the Synod, we had the answers to the dubia of the five cardinals.
00:01:28.860 And that was very difficult, because that seemed to indicate that priests could decide for themselves
00:01:35.180 whether or not they want to give a blessing to same-sex unions, couples in same-sex unions.
00:01:41.080 Very dangerous.
00:01:41.700 Not marriage.
00:01:42.340 It wasn't to be marriage.
00:01:43.240 Not to lead to confusion about marriage, but same-sex civil unions.
00:01:46.120 And we heard that same thing happen in most of our governments.
00:01:49.120 Before they introduced same-sex marriage, they introduced same-sex civil unions.
00:01:52.820 Of course, it led to marriage, but they all swore up and down
00:01:55.280 while they were introducing same-sex unions, it had nothing to do with marriage.

00:03:36.880 So I want to thank you for your time, because I know you've been stretched very much.
00:03:40.620 Let's start with your book, Catechism Credo.
00:03:45.760 I know you explained it was, what did you say, brought by demands of the faithful.
00:03:53.280 And you explained, I believe it was, in reference to someone who knocked at the udders asking for milk.
00:03:59.680 Perhaps you can tell us, what are some good ways the faithful can knock at the udders of the Church
00:04:05.440 to get from their bishops, their pastors, the milk of truth?
00:04:09.980 Yes, it was an expression of St. Caesarius of Arles from the 5th century,
00:04:16.780 in which even Pope Francis quoted once,
00:04:18.980 saying that the faithful have a right to a doctrine, to a spiritual nourishment.
00:04:29.120 And if the bishops are not giving them, they must go to them like the calf,
00:04:36.740 knocking on the udder of the cow, mother, to ask milk.
00:04:40.960 And so, the faithful must continue to ask the Pope and the bishops to give them a true milk,
00:04:49.660 not a fake milk or fake nourishment, but a true nourishment,
00:04:55.400 which is the Word of God, the revelation of God, the doctrine of Christ,
00:05:00.600 which was entrusted to the apostles and their successors,
00:05:05.680 the bishops and the Pope, the magisterium,
00:05:10.100 only to keep it carefully and transmit it faithfully
00:05:16.700 and explain it in the same meaning and sense which all the time the Church taught.
00:05:24.820 And so, this is very important in this time of confusion,
00:05:29.620 where even from the highest levels of hierarchy,
00:05:35.000 unfortunately, we are hearing so much confusion in doctrine.
00:05:40.460 Therefore, it's the hour of the faithful to demand
00:05:43.160 the pure Catholic doctrine as a spiritual nourishment.

00:05:51.020 And what were the particular ways that worked with you
00:05:54.160 as an arduous task to make a catechism?
00:05:56.300 And so, any suggestion on particular methods that could be used
00:06:00.900 to encourage bishops, pastors, and so on, to provide this milk?
00:06:05.400 The people, the faithful, on their places, when they are living,
00:06:09.440 they must address their pastors and then the bishops to present them.
00:06:16.300 Maybe they can show them.
00:06:17.960 We have here texts already proven by the history of the Church,
00:06:23.920 let us say, the traditional catechisms, like Baltimore Catechism, for example,
00:06:30.620 and ask the bishop, please give us such a clear teaching again.
00:06:35.980 And as our forefathers received it,
00:06:41.660 they had still the happiness, our fathers, let us say,
00:06:45.720 our forefathers, grandfathers, until the council,
00:06:49.840 all generations of Catholics, they had the happiness
00:06:53.820 to receive a pure, integral, sure Catholic doctrine.
00:07:03.260 And these, they should say, we ask to.
00:07:06.720 Then the faithful can themselves make meetings
00:07:10.900 for spreading the Catholic traditional doctrine.
00:07:15.300 Today, we have several means in the Internet, let us say,
00:07:20.560 but also together to meet and to make conferences
00:07:25.260 about the true Catholic doctrine and to transmit it to the Jews.
00:07:30.960 In his answer to the dubia cardinals, the new dubia cardinals,
00:07:35.280 who asked specifically about this blessing of homosexual unions
00:07:38.860 because the German bishops voted, 38 to 8, in favor of it,
00:07:43.600 the answer, as you mentioned in the press conference
00:07:47.760 for the release of Credo, it seemed it was an art of confusion,

00:08:11.840 because we heard from our politicians the same thing.
00:08:15.500 Oh no, not marriage, not marriage, only unions,
00:08:18.740 so that we won't have marriage.
00:08:21.080 Why is this approach not possible in the Church
00:08:25.480 to give blessings for homosexual unions?
00:08:28.280 It is, in fact, simply a play with words,
00:08:34.540 deceit, in a cunning way,
00:08:39.680 because we are not little children
00:08:41.960 who do not understand this.
00:08:44.760 This is evident that already the fact
00:08:48.220 that it is a couple, two same-sex couples,
00:08:53.740 a couple, this is already a message,
00:08:58.120 a demonstration of propagation
00:08:59.980 of the sin of homosexuality,
00:09:04.160 the sin against nature.
00:09:06.860 Otherwise, they would not join.
00:09:08.560 They were joined because of same-sex erotic attraction.
00:09:14.340 And this is against nature.
00:09:17.260 It's against reason.
00:09:18.220 And it is a message that we can live such a way
00:09:25.020 and exercise sexuality in this way.
00:09:30.080 And this is contrary to the creation of God,
00:09:34.040 to the will of God.
00:09:35.300 And this is, since it is against the creation of God,
00:09:39.340 against the wisdom of God,

00:09:41.840 it is extremely harming the people himself,

00:09:50.700 and against the will of God is harmful,
00:09:53.460 deeply harmful.
00:09:55.020 And therefore, such so-called only to bless,

00:10:49.520 Of course, a singular person
00:10:51.040 who has this problem with same-sex attraction,
00:10:54.480 can come and ask a blessing
00:10:56.200 to overcome the temptations,
00:10:59.620 to be able,

00:11:02.460 to live chastely.
00:11:04.860 But as a single person,
00:11:06.420 he will not come with his partner.
00:11:08.260 This will be a contradiction in his way
00:11:10.600 to live against,
00:11:12.360 according to the will of God.

00:11:17.220 deceitful method,
00:11:18.820 and the church can never cooperate

00:12:04.920 We are in a very strange place
00:12:06.360 because even at this synod,
00:12:09.100 where it seemed to start
00:12:10.280 with the response to the dubia,
00:12:12.380 but then there was kind of
00:12:13.520 a kind of synod held
00:12:17.040 on the part of Pope Francis himself.
00:12:18.800 He met with Whoopi Goldberg
00:12:20.200 and that went all over the world.
00:12:21.960 Whoopi Goldberg met with him
00:12:23.420 and praised him
00:12:24.740 for his promotion
00:12:25.680 of homosexuality.
00:12:26.940 And interestingly,
00:12:28.460 Vatican News Service
00:12:29.480 is where that was broadcast.
00:12:31.680 In addition,
00:12:32.460 he met with Sister Janine Gramic,
00:12:34.180 who I'm sure you might know
00:12:35.480 was sanctioned
00:12:37.520 under Pope John Paul
00:12:39.420 and Benedict
00:12:39.980 for her work
00:12:41.120 against the faith
00:12:41.960 with regard to homosexuality,
00:12:43.380 as I'm sure would have been
00:12:45.520 Father James Martin,
00:12:46.860 who of course was named
00:12:47.860 to the synod.
00:12:49.200 And then the Pope
00:12:50.220 even met with leaders
00:12:51.640 from these various groups,
00:12:53.760 the so-called Catholic groups
00:12:55.000 they call themselves,
00:12:55.900 but pushing the LGBT agenda
00:12:58.000 inside the church.
00:13:00.180 And all of that went on
00:13:02.000 all this month
00:13:02.860 during the synod.
00:13:04.160 So grave confusion.
