The John-Henry Westen Show - Exploring the Thesis of the 'Ratzinger Code'： Did Pope Benedict Fake His Resignation？

00:00:00.000 Pope Benedict XVI was forced out of the way by, as Chanchi puts it, his words not mine,

00:00:10.300 by a globalist strong powers linked to an international Freemasonry.

00:00:21.860 My friends, welcome to this episode of the John Henry Weston Show, which may be one of

00:00:25.520 the most controversial ones I've ever done.

00:00:26.920 I propose to present to you a thesis here, a thesis which should never be considered

00:00:34.540 except that our times are so crazy.

00:00:38.100 Things that Pope Francis has done over the past 11 years have been so shocking to the

00:00:43.800 Catholic mind that Catholics, intellectual Catholics, academicians, have actually gone there to

00:00:50.940 question the papacy itself, to question Pope Francis if he's really Pope.

00:00:56.040 Now, there's a lot of theories on that.

00:00:58.220 There's very credible theories that people believe, very educated, very studied, and very

00:01:05.060 holy people believe, that Francis is not the Pope because he was actually not a Catholic

00:01:12.460 going in.

00:01:13.160 Or as Archbishop Vigano might say, he didn't intend to do what the Pope's intend to do,

00:01:20.980 that's maintain the faith.

00:01:21.820 That's one possibility.

00:01:23.280 There's another possibility that the election was wrong because Pope John Paul II's constitution

00:01:29.240 on the papacy, Universi Dominici Gregis, specified the rules for the papacy, and they were violated

00:01:34.520 by the collusion that the Sangalan mafia undertook.

00:01:38.320 And all of that's real and verified.

00:01:39.940 There's the other possibility that I might call it the Robert Bellarmine thesis, that via heresy, Pope Francis has already

00:01:48.300 abdicated himself from the papal throne.

00:01:51.280 All of those are possibilities.

00:01:54.160 And very good Catholics believe, ascribe to those various ones.

00:01:59.700 There is one other one that, and we've discussed some of those here on this show with different guests, but there's

00:02:07.180 another one that took off in Italy.

00:02:10.400 It was by a journalist called Andrea Sianzi.

00:02:14.760 And it was kind of a fantastical one.

00:02:18.780 It was that Pope Benedict intentionally resigned in a way that wouldn't really be a resignation.

00:02:26.900 It would sort of fake a resignation so as to put himself into a position they call an impeded sea.

00:02:34.440 So he wasn't able to function as Pope, but he would still be the Pope.

00:02:37.260 And that would be left to the future to sort of work out, and it would be providential and so on.

00:02:43.440 A very controversial thesis.

00:02:45.220 I didn't really pay it much mind until, you know, the situation in the Church got so crazy.

00:02:50.340 There was actually 30 professors who wrote about this, considered it seriously, and it has some interesting elements to it.

00:02:58.440 I interviewed a very intellectual professor about it, you know, and I'll introduce him to you in a second.

00:03:05.500 But this thesis, this particular one, wasn't convincing to me, but just there's so many people who believe this.

00:03:14.180 I thought I'd present to you the arguments because the book has been, you know, sold 20,000 copies in Italy, and it's gone around and around.

00:03:22.500 Not received much coverage in America.

00:03:26.080 An interesting thesis, but I think the other ones hold more weight.

00:03:30.800 And of course, there's the opposite thesis, and that is of Bishop Athanasius Schneider, who we featured on LifeSite many times.

00:03:37.020 And that is that the Pope is the Pope is the Pope.

00:03:39.560 And there's nothing that can be done to change that, no matter what Francis says or does.

00:03:44.880 It is basically, he's the Pope.

00:03:47.180 The only thing that could ever change that is an ex-cathedra statement against the faith, and that won't come.

00:03:54.900 Anyway, you've seen all those and more.

00:03:57.240 Check this out on LifeSite News, and please let us know what you think of this thesis in the comments.

00:04:01.720 Stay tuned for this episode of the John Hare Wesson Show with not Professor Cianci himself, but with Professor Eric Thaddeus Walters.

00:04:13.340 He's a doctor of philosophy, a philologist, theologian, and professor of history and Latin at the John Cabot University in Rome.

00:04:22.880 He's lived and studied and worked in Rome for almost 30 years.

00:04:27.040 And Professor Walters, of course, is fluent in English, Italian, Latin, is very familiar with the work of Andrea Cianci,

00:04:33.800 and was interviewed by the journalist Cianci as well on the YouTube channel of Professor Cianci.

00:04:42.920 So please stay tuned for this episode of the John Hare Wesson Show.

00:04:48.100 Professor Eric Walters, welcome to the program.

00:04:50.620 Thank you very much, Mr. Weston. It's a pleasure.

00:04:53.600 Let's begin, as we always do, with the sign of the cross.

00:04:56.340 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

00:05:03.280 So, thank you for doing this for us.

00:05:05.560 If we can jump right in, if you can tell us, what is Andrea Cianci's point?

00:05:14.700 Well, after a three-year investigation,

00:05:19.000 more than 700 articles and 400 podcasts,

00:05:26.460 Andrea Cianci has come to the conclusion that in the Declaratio,

00:05:31.580 this is important, not Renuntiatio, but Declaratio, of so-called resignation,

00:05:39.860 that Benedict XVI announced, what he announced was something very different from that which has been understood or presumed thus far.

00:05:50.820 In a nutshell, the issue is very simple.

00:05:57.440 Pope Benedict XVI was forced out of the way by, as Cianci puts it,

00:06:04.940 his words, not mine, but in any event,

00:06:09.280 by a globalist strong powers linked to an international Freemasonry.

00:06:13.860 However, he applied a precise anti-usurpation plan

00:06:22.200 that had been ready since the Codex Iuris Canonikis of 1983,

00:06:29.120 the Code of Canon Law since 1983,

00:06:32.100 with quite profound theological and eschatological implications.

00:06:38.540 He pronounced the Declaratio on March 13th, 2013,

00:06:47.920 or excuse me, on February 11th, 2013, rather,

00:06:52.300 ingeniously written using Latin canon law,

00:06:55.280 which, to quote the old form of the Lord's Prayer,

00:07:00.020 or to paraphrase it rather,

00:07:01.780 led into temptation.

00:07:04.200 That is to say, tested his enemies in the Sancte Gallen Mafia,

00:07:11.120 to whom it seemed an abdication.

00:07:14.700 Instead, it was anything but that.

00:07:19.060 Rather, it was a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy,

00:07:22.980 similar to Christ's words at the last Passover meal,

00:07:29.100 the last supper,

00:07:30.680 one of you will betray me.

00:07:32.000 Men of the 16th, with that Declaratio,

00:07:36.000 freely offered himself to his own impeded see,

00:07:42.100 and thereby made the anti-Pope Bergoglio,

00:07:46.520 since his illegitimate election,

00:07:49.320 the result of a conclave convened with the Pope,

00:07:52.640 not dead, not abdicating, but impeded.

00:07:57.500 The correct translation of the Declaratio from Latin

00:08:02.080 was signed by at least three renowned Italian Latinists,

00:08:07.560 including one from the rather famous University of Turin.

00:08:13.740 Okay.

00:08:16.160 So for people to understand,

00:08:18.660 what do you mean by,

00:08:19.880 or what does he mean by an impeded see?

00:08:22.840 Yeah, gladly.

00:08:26.880 No one talks about it.

00:08:27.980 It's kind of like the elephant in the room.

00:08:32.340 A great taboo of which to speak about.

00:08:37.140 It is the alternative.

00:08:39.340 It's not the same thing.

00:08:40.820 It's the alternative to the sedivacante.

00:08:45.880 That is,

00:08:46.980 when the Pope is not dead,

00:08:50.140 and is not abdicated,

00:08:52.280 but is, in effect,

00:08:54.520 a prisoner,

00:08:55.620 exiled,

00:08:56.760 and not free to express himself.

00:08:59.400 In fact,

00:09:00.360 one fact,

00:09:01.660 again,

00:09:01.900 under everyone's eyes,

00:09:03.000 kind of the elephant in the room,

00:09:04.320 is that Benedict

00:09:05.000 remained in the sea,

00:09:07.940 dressed in white

00:09:09.820 with all of the

00:09:11.100 pontifical regalia

00:09:13.420 and name.

00:09:17.360 The Chonchi suggests, 0.99

00:09:18.740 you know,

00:09:19.060 would it even seem possible

00:09:20.580 that

00:09:20.940 the man,

00:09:23.000 Cardinal Ratzinger,

00:09:24.480 Pope Benedict XVI,

00:09:26.120 rather mild and correct,

00:09:28.200 if he had wanted to abdicate,

00:09:31.340 would have remained in the Vatican

00:09:32.760 dressed in white

00:09:33.700 to just simply annoy his

00:09:35.340 supposed successor.

00:09:38.920 Chonchi was the first 1.00

00:09:39.880 to interpret that

00:09:40.860 declaratio

00:09:41.960 as an announcement

00:09:43.160 and consequently

00:09:44.000 declaratio as it's called,

00:09:46.000 not renunciatio,

00:09:47.320 as an announcement

00:09:48.620 of a forthcoming

00:09:49.660 impeded sea

00:09:50.720 and not

00:09:52.300 as

00:09:53.420 an abdication.

00:09:56.640 So,

00:09:57.580 how could a Pope

00:09:58.800 place himself

00:09:59.820 into an impeded sea?

00:10:03.240 Well,

00:10:04.700 in fact,

00:10:07.000 he cannot.

00:10:07.940 And consequently,

00:10:11.820 a rather clever,

00:10:14.220 if not ingenious,

00:10:16.380 contrivance

00:10:17.740 of

00:10:18.220 what is referred to

00:10:19.900 as the Roman hour.

00:10:23.200 Ratzinger,

00:10:24.100 as Pope Benedict

00:10:24.920 declares,

00:10:26.000 I declare that

00:10:27.360 I renounce

00:10:28.220 the ministerium

00:10:29.620 in Latin

00:10:30.160 so that

00:10:32.120 from the 28th

00:10:33.320 of February,

00:10:33.880 this is 2013,

00:10:35.760 obviously,

00:10:36.400 Ora Vigesima,

00:10:37.720 the Sea of St.

00:10:38.520 Peter

00:10:38.940 Vacet.

00:10:41.320 By

00:10:41.840 Ora

00:10:42.420 Vigesima,

00:10:44.740 Benedict could also

00:10:46.060 refer to the old

00:10:46.880 traditional papal time,

00:10:48.400 that is Roman time,

00:10:49.560 italic

00:10:50.460 time,

00:10:52.120 as in ancient Rome,

00:10:53.040 whose hour

00:10:55.340 count

00:10:56.100 begins

00:10:56.920 not at midnight,

00:10:58.240 but at sunset,

00:10:59.060 from dusk till dawn,

00:11:01.160 if you will,

00:11:01.540 right?

00:11:02.460 Thus,

00:11:02.960 the Ora Vigesima

00:11:03.940 would legitimately

00:11:05.240 coincide with

00:11:06.020 1 p.m.

00:11:06.780 on March 1st.

00:11:09.060 Ratzinger,

00:11:11.360 Pope Benedict XVI,

00:11:12.260 knows,

00:11:13.400 knew that

00:11:14.340 the

00:11:14.840 the VIS notes,

00:11:17.200 the papal bulletin,

00:11:18.540 always comes out

00:11:19.920 after noon,

00:11:21.520 meaning 12 noon,

00:11:22.580 and before 1 p.m.,

00:11:24.740 so that the

00:11:26.300 convocation

00:11:27.440 of a new conclave

00:11:28.580 would have been

00:11:29.320 illegitimate

00:11:30.340 because it would have

00:11:32.300 occurred with

00:11:33.180 the Pope

00:11:33.740 neither dead

00:11:35.480 nor having

00:11:37.140 abdicated

00:11:37.900 and so

00:11:40.480 it happened.

00:11:41.560 The convocation,

00:11:42.860 which actually

00:11:43.340 occurred before

00:11:44.620 the Ora Vigesima,

00:11:46.020 was

00:11:46.980 sort of a

00:11:48.240 putsch,

00:11:48.860 that is,

00:11:49.980 better than 16th

00:11:50.740 officially entered

00:11:51.700 the impeded sea,

00:11:53.300 losing

00:11:53.880 his

00:11:54.780 ministerium.

00:11:57.580 Cosgoli,

00:11:58.460 1 p.m.,

00:11:59.420 March 1st,

00:12:00.080 is the hour

00:12:00.600 at which he loses

00:12:01.500 that ministerium,

00:12:02.800 entering

00:12:03.220 an impeded

00:12:04.540 sea,

00:12:06.200 not a

00:12:06.860 seri vacante,

00:12:07.900 an impeded

00:12:09.080 sea.

00:12:10.720 Incidentally,

00:12:11.340 he greets

00:12:11.860 everyone from

00:12:12.720 Castagandolfo,

00:12:13.680 famously where,

00:12:15.260 right above his head,

00:12:17.280 is the phase

00:12:17.940 of a six-hour

00:12:18.800 Roman italic

00:12:20.160 clock,

00:12:21.400 and this is

00:12:22.360 perhaps

00:12:23.920 the most

00:12:25.140 ingenious thing

00:12:25.820 about Benedict's plan.

00:12:27.500 It does not,

00:12:28.520 it does,

00:12:29.060 however,

00:12:29.280 need some

00:12:29.940 a bit further

00:12:30.900 concentration to be

00:12:31.820 understood.

00:12:32.280 It might be

00:12:32.820 better to see

00:12:34.360 this time pattern

00:12:35.200 to get a

00:12:35.800 clearer

00:12:36.620 overview.

00:12:39.880 So,

00:12:40.660 we're taking a look

00:12:41.280 at that now

00:12:41.700 on the screen.

00:12:42.660 If you can,

00:12:43.460 if you can tell us,

00:12:45.000 what does

00:12:45.940 Professor

00:12:46.980 Chianci mean 0.99

00:12:48.140 when he talks

00:12:49.340 about a,

00:12:50.520 the Ratzinger

00:12:51.640 code?

00:12:53.640 Yeah,

00:12:53.940 so,

00:12:54.900 quite simply,

00:12:57.720 it's not,

00:12:58.480 it's,

00:12:58.800 obviously,

00:13:00.200 it catches the eye,

00:13:01.160 especially in the

00:13:01.960 popular imagination,

00:13:05.020 and especially

00:13:05.900 in the

00:13:07.080 anglophonic

00:13:07.740 world,

00:13:09.280 thanks to

00:13:10.160 a particular

00:13:10.940 author

00:13:11.500 of some note

00:13:13.500 from a couple

00:13:14.180 of decades ago,

00:13:15.520 movies made

00:13:16.200 about it.

00:13:18.260 Number one,

00:13:19.720 for

00:13:20.340 everyone

00:13:21.820 viewing or

00:13:23.120 listening,

00:13:24.020 remember,

00:13:24.900 the code of

00:13:25.800 canon law

00:13:26.320 is called

00:13:26.880 the code,

00:13:28.940 codex

00:13:29.820 iuris

00:13:30.540 canonikis.

00:13:31.460 Okay.

00:13:32.900 So,

00:13:33.440 it's not meant

00:13:34.200 to,

00:13:35.100 it's not,

00:13:35.500 it's not supposed

00:13:36.000 to be a

00:13:36.900 spy thriller,

00:13:39.780 at least in the

00:13:40.520 fictional sense.

00:13:42.600 Pope Benedict XVI

00:13:43.960 used both for

00:13:45.160 the declaratio,

00:13:46.520 his declaratio,

00:13:47.420 and in his

00:13:47.920 later years

00:13:48.680 as

00:13:50.800 abdicated,

00:13:53.480 presumable

00:13:54.060 abdicated

00:13:55.040 pope,

00:13:55.740 the moral

00:13:56.400 theologic

00:13:56.900 concept of

00:13:58.160 the broad

00:13:58.980 mental

00:13:59.620 restriction.

00:14:01.120 It's a way

00:14:01.980 of telling

00:14:02.460 the truth

00:14:03.040 in a very

00:14:03.480 veiled but

00:14:04.820 absolutely

00:14:05.200 logical language

00:14:06.240 to make

00:14:07.720 clear the

00:14:08.340 fact that

00:14:09.120 he has

00:14:09.400 always remained

00:14:10.200 the only

00:14:10.680 pope.

00:14:11.080 For example,

00:14:11.520 one of the

00:14:11.900 most revealing

00:14:13.520 phrases,

00:14:14.500 I am the

00:14:15.000 first pope to

00:14:15.720 resign after

00:14:16.520 a thousand

00:14:17.000 years,

00:14:18.760 meaning

00:14:20.400 referring to

00:14:21.780 the year

00:14:22.060 1013.

00:14:23.400 so too

00:14:26.020 bad that

00:14:26.460 the last

00:14:26.920 abdicator

00:14:27.680 was

00:14:28.060 Gregory XII

00:14:29.040 and 1415.

00:14:31.420 So for

00:14:32.220 Ratzinger,

00:14:33.580 the last

00:14:34.360 abdicator,

00:14:35.660 the word

00:14:36.700 resignation

00:14:37.120 is not

00:14:37.800 equivalent

00:14:38.360 to

00:14:39.080 abdication.

00:14:40.760 The reference

00:14:41.400 as

00:14:42.040 Chonchi 0.99

00:14:42.860 later

00:14:43.200 discovered

00:14:43.700 with the

00:14:44.120 help of

00:14:44.860 a particular

00:14:45.640 professor,

00:14:46.400 Luca

00:14:46.840 Brunoni,

00:14:48.360 a church

00:14:48.940 historian,

00:14:49.780 is rather

00:14:50.380 to Pope

00:14:50.760 Benedict VIII,

00:14:52.300 who in

00:14:53.540 1013 also

00:14:54.460 made a

00:14:54.880 similar

00:14:55.120 declaration

00:14:55.740 of renunciation

00:14:56.640 of the

00:14:57.720 ministerium

00:14:58.580 without

00:14:59.840 abdicating.

00:15:01.200 Or he

00:15:01.800 said that

00:15:02.200 he kept

00:15:02.540 the white

00:15:03.040 robe

00:15:03.720 because he

00:15:05.020 had no

00:15:05.260 other clothes

00:15:05.880 available.

00:15:06.500 Of course,

00:15:08.020 there's no

00:15:08.500 specific

00:15:08.900 robe for

00:15:09.700 an impeded

00:15:10.540 pope,

00:15:11.200 and he

00:15:12.280 remained

00:15:12.560 dressed in

00:15:13.060 white with

00:15:13.540 all the

00:15:13.860 appointments

00:15:14.320 and with

00:15:15.120 the

00:15:15.500 pontifical

00:15:16.120 name.

00:15:17.740 Or,

00:15:18.280 in even

00:15:18.800 easier

00:15:19.140 terms,

00:15:19.800 Benedict

00:15:19.960 continued

00:15:20.460 to impart

00:15:21.140 his

00:15:21.540 apostolic

00:15:22.620 blessing,

00:15:23.260 the

00:15:23.360 exclusive

00:15:23.780 prerogative

00:15:24.340 of the

00:15:24.840 pope,

00:15:25.320 and did

00:15:26.520 so repeatedly

00:15:27.040 for nine

00:15:27.620 years,

00:15:28.400 there was

00:15:29.260 only one

00:15:29.680 pope without

00:15:30.200 ever specifying

00:15:31.260 which one.

00:15:34.580 Hmm.

00:15:35.400 Okay.

00:15:36.860 But isn't

00:15:37.740 it true

00:15:38.240 that Pope

00:15:39.780 Benedict

00:15:40.020 called

00:15:40.860 Pope

00:15:41.980 Francis

00:15:42.520 holiness,

00:15:43.720 holy

00:15:43.860 father,

00:15:44.360 things like

00:15:44.680 that?

00:15:47.460 Yeah,

00:15:48.540 indeed.

00:15:49.280 just as

00:15:50.800 exactly as

00:15:51.500 he called

00:15:52.080 Pope

00:15:53.820 Papa

00:15:54.460 and

00:15:55.060 holiness

00:15:55.600 Theodoros

00:15:57.280 Theodore

00:15:57.920 II,

00:15:58.840 that is

00:15:59.220 the

00:15:59.600 schismatic

00:16:00.140 Coptic

00:16:01.040 Orthodox

00:16:02.240 patriarch.

00:16:03.340 Benedict

00:16:03.520 called

00:16:03.960 Francis

00:16:04.460 Pope

00:16:05.100 because he's

00:16:07.680 a schismatic

00:16:08.200 patriarch.

00:16:09.040 Then he

00:16:09.260 called him

00:16:09.580 his successor

00:16:10.140 because as

00:16:10.960 an anti-pope,

00:16:12.740 an impediment,

00:16:13.840 he sits

00:16:14.440 on his

00:16:15.360 throne,

00:16:17.180 albeit

00:16:17.620 illicitly.

00:16:20.640 One

00:16:21.560 should not

00:16:22.400 stop

00:16:24.100 or end

00:16:25.480 at a

00:16:26.520 superficial

00:16:27.020 aspect

00:16:28.840 that

00:16:29.660 could

00:16:31.620 convince

00:16:32.120 one

00:16:32.420 perhaps to

00:16:33.400 believe

00:16:35.320 in a

00:16:35.840 kind of

00:16:36.440 Bergoglian

00:16:38.380 language.

00:16:43.840 There's a

00:16:44.660 solid and

00:16:45.480 objective

00:16:46.020 canonical

00:16:46.600 fact and

00:16:47.440 at a

00:16:47.640 higher

00:16:47.840 level,

00:16:48.240 the

00:16:48.360 subtle

00:16:48.560 statements

00:16:49.120 to be

00:16:49.500 interpreted

00:16:49.980 in broad

00:16:51.460 mental

00:16:52.780 restrictions

00:16:53.340 as it's

00:16:54.240 referred to

00:16:54.780 in the

00:16:55.520 tradition.

00:16:56.880 Right.

00:16:57.200 So,

00:16:57.580 okay,

00:16:58.540 so if

00:16:59.180 this were

00:16:59.660 true,

00:17:00.820 if this

00:17:01.020 were accurate,

00:17:01.620 how would

00:17:02.140 one get

00:17:02.480 out of

00:17:02.740 it?

00:17:02.880 Well,

00:17:05.600 according to

00:17:08.160 the

00:17:08.660 Apostolic

00:17:09.500 Constitution

00:17:10.200 Universi

00:17:11.000 Dominici

00:17:11.380 Gregis,

00:17:12.700 which was

00:17:14.600 specifically,

00:17:16.160 specially,

00:17:16.740 and especially

00:17:17.180 prepared by

00:17:18.300 Cardinal Ratzinger

00:17:20.260 under

00:17:20.560 Pope John

00:17:22.340 Paul II

00:17:22.740 in 1996,

00:17:24.280 from the

00:17:25.840 combined

00:17:27.060 provisions

00:17:27.680 of

00:17:28.580 Articles

00:17:29.660 in

00:17:30.780 General

00:17:31.120 III,

00:17:31.660 and

00:17:33.020 then

00:17:33.160 number

00:17:33.400 76

00:17:34.240 and

00:17:34.700 number

00:17:34.980 77,

00:17:39.420 Bergoglio

00:17:39.940 is not

00:17:40.200 the Pope

00:17:40.540 and has

00:17:40.800 no rights

00:17:41.300 because the

00:17:41.900 vacancy

00:17:42.460 of the

00:17:42.860 sea

00:17:43.160 through

00:17:45.160 renunciation

00:17:46.080 did not

00:17:47.160 occur

00:17:47.920 under

00:17:49.800 Canon

00:17:50.480 332.2,

00:17:53.260 the Code

00:17:53.580 of Canon

00:17:53.940 Law.

00:17:55.060 In other

00:17:55.300 words,

00:17:55.520 Code of

00:17:55.820 Canon

00:17:56.000 Law was

00:17:56.300 put in

00:17:56.540 place in

00:17:56.920 1983,

00:17:58.560 and the

00:18:00.200 blueprint for

00:18:01.080 how that

00:18:01.760 is to

00:18:02.260 be

00:18:02.640 handled,

00:18:04.460 how it's

00:18:04.780 to be

00:18:05.140 dealt

00:18:05.440 with,

00:18:06.300 is in

00:18:06.880 UDG,

00:18:08.360 Universi

00:18:08.860 Dominici

00:18:09.220 Gregis

00:18:09.840 of 1996,

00:18:12.100 which requires

00:18:13.760 the explicit

00:18:16.020 renunciation of

00:18:17.300 Munus,

00:18:18.540 M-U-N-U-S. 1.00

00:18:21.620 And the

00:18:23.560 discourse then

00:18:25.020 on the

00:18:25.880 alleged

00:18:26.360 synonymy,

00:18:28.880 as the

00:18:29.860 terms being

00:18:30.380 synonymous

00:18:30.960 between

00:18:31.440 Munus

00:18:32.060 and

00:18:33.140 Ministerium

00:18:33.860 is just

00:18:34.660 an outright

00:18:35.560 deception.

00:18:38.160 The

00:18:38.280 Munus

00:18:38.800 means

00:18:40.020 another

00:18:41.940 word in

00:18:42.280 Latin,

00:18:42.580 you could

00:18:42.800 say

00:18:43.000 Uficium,

00:18:43.840 it's an

00:18:44.040 office,

00:18:44.600 moreover,

00:18:45.220 it's a

00:18:45.600 gift,

00:18:47.260 a spiritual

00:18:48.660 essence,

00:18:49.420 which as

00:18:50.460 Pope Benedict

00:18:51.640 XVI

00:18:52.060 explains in

00:18:53.100 the

00:18:53.220 Declaratio,

00:18:53.880 must then

00:18:55.320 be exercised,

00:18:56.480 applied with

00:18:57.420 and in

00:18:58.800 the

00:18:58.960 Ministerium.

00:19:01.360 So,

00:19:02.400 the

00:19:02.600 administration,

00:19:03.780 right,

00:19:04.180 steering

00:19:04.580 Peter's

00:19:05.040 boat and

00:19:05.620 proclaiming

00:19:06.120 the gospel.

00:19:07.340 There's

00:19:07.600 only one

00:19:07.940 case in

00:19:08.320 which the

00:19:08.580 Pope loses

00:19:09.080 the

00:19:09.300 Ministerium

00:19:09.980 and still

00:19:11.740 retains

00:19:12.120 the

00:19:12.300 Munus,

00:19:13.460 and that

00:19:14.780 is the

00:19:15.520 impeded

00:19:17.000 C,

00:19:17.960 not simply

00:19:18.760 vacancy,

00:19:20.920 but the

00:19:21.220 impeded

00:19:22.040 C.

00:19:23.220 Munus

00:19:24.240 means

00:19:26.080 being

00:19:27.140 Pope.

00:19:28.840 Ministerium

00:19:29.560 means

00:19:30.620 doing

00:19:31.300 Pope,

00:19:32.240 if you

00:19:32.600 will.

00:19:33.540 So much

00:19:34.140 so that

00:19:34.600 in 1988,

00:19:37.040 in the

00:19:37.460 Encyclical

00:19:37.940 Bonus

00:19:38.460 Pastor,

00:19:39.240 or Pastor

00:19:39.720 Bonus,

00:19:40.880 this

00:19:41.640 dichotomy

00:19:42.340 is repeated,

00:19:44.180 it's

00:19:44.780 continuously

00:19:45.360 emphasized,

00:19:47.020 and not

00:19:48.100 by chance

00:19:49.460 as

00:19:50.080 Chongji 0.99

00:19:51.780 discovered,

00:19:52.300 sometimes,

00:19:57.040 yeah,

00:19:57.280 Munus

00:19:57.540 can also

00:19:58.520 be used

00:20:00.140 including

00:20:00.560 the meaning

00:20:00.960 of being

00:20:02.000 Pope,

00:20:02.780 but

00:20:03.660 Ministerium

00:20:04.660 never

00:20:05.920 means

00:20:06.500 being

00:20:07.540 Pope,

00:20:08.600 and that,

00:20:09.540 that is

00:20:09.960 the

00:20:10.220 Ministerium,

00:20:10.940 that's

00:20:11.200 the object

00:20:11.740 of

00:20:12.320 renunciation

00:20:13.080 here.

00:20:13.600 So today

00:20:15.320 it's

00:20:15.540 enough,

00:20:16.100 quite simply

00:20:16.700 for the

00:20:16.960 cardinals,

00:20:17.500 who according

00:20:17.960 to Article

00:20:18.580 3 of the

00:20:19.440 Universi

00:20:20.020 Dominici

00:20:20.340 Gregis,

00:20:20.920 have the

00:20:22.940 duty to

00:20:23.960 intervene,

00:20:24.900 to simply

00:20:25.520 declare that

00:20:26.160 the Pope

00:20:26.540 is dead,

00:20:27.200 very Papa

00:20:29.140 mortu

00:20:29.640 and a

00:20:31.840 conclave,

00:20:32.640 a legitimate

00:20:33.120 conclave must

00:20:34.000 be convened,

00:20:35.580 and that

00:20:36.220 Bergoglio must

00:20:37.160 be sanctioned

00:20:38.420 according to

00:20:39.540 Canon 1375,

00:20:41.600 which

00:20:41.900 sanctions the

00:20:43.280 usurpation of

00:20:44.840 an ecclesiastical

00:20:45.840 office.

00:20:46.980 Okay,

00:20:49.020 so I guess

00:20:49.700 that would

00:20:50.060 explain the

00:20:51.020 petition that

00:20:52.340 it was

00:20:52.740 promoted by

00:20:53.440 Chianci,

00:20:54.740 October 23rd,

00:20:56.500 and it was

00:20:56.960 delivered to

00:20:57.460 the Secretary

00:20:57.900 of State

00:20:58.400 on November

00:20:59.420 the 8th.

00:21:01.160 Yeah,

00:21:01.560 and by the

00:21:02.280 way,

00:21:02.460 it's ongoing.

00:21:03.900 I think

00:21:04.660 there's

00:21:04.960 currently over

00:21:05.640 14,000

00:21:06.520 signatures,

00:21:07.260 the original,

00:21:08.300 they're being

00:21:08.700 done in

00:21:09.220 tranches,

00:21:10.700 so the

00:21:11.100 original

00:21:11.500 petition,

00:21:12.880 there's

00:21:13.020 11,500

00:21:14.040 signatures,

00:21:14.860 but now

00:21:15.160 they're also

00:21:15.640 over,

00:21:16.120 I think,

00:21:16.600 close to

00:21:17.900 over 5,000.

00:21:19.300 In any

00:21:19.540 event,

00:21:19.840 yeah.

00:21:20.520 So on

00:21:20.860 the eve

00:21:21.120 of St.

00:21:21.580 Mary of

00:21:21.900 Victory,

00:21:22.280 in less

00:21:22.560 than two

00:21:22.980 weeks,

00:21:24.480 they collected

00:21:24.920 11,500

00:21:25.920 signatures,

00:21:26.740 and as

00:21:28.420 of November

00:21:29.040 8th,

00:21:29.420 the church,

00:21:30.640 in other

00:21:30.980 words,

00:21:31.300 for Chalent

00:21:31.740 the church

00:21:32.440 can no

00:21:33.280 longer say

00:21:33.980 we didn't

00:21:35.800 know.

00:21:38.520 It's all

00:21:39.280 been protocoled,

00:21:40.280 registered,

00:21:41.320 sealed at

00:21:42.680 the Vatican

00:21:43.240 Secretary of

00:21:44.200 State.

00:21:44.440 for

00:21:46.860 example,

00:21:48.000 a very,

00:21:48.400 or rather

00:21:48.680 famous in

00:21:49.240 Italy anyway,

00:21:50.820 anti-mafia

00:21:52.220 judge,

00:21:53.120 Angelo

00:21:53.500 Giurgiani,

00:21:54.820 and a

00:21:56.100 rather

00:21:56.900 prominent

00:21:57.380 association

00:21:58.620 of lawyers

00:21:59.100 called

00:21:59.620 Arbitrium.

00:22:01.900 They

00:22:02.240 participated

00:22:02.820 also in

00:22:03.440 promoting

00:22:03.880 the petition.

00:22:07.020 Yeah,

00:22:07.680 it's a

00:22:08.060 point of

00:22:08.800 no return,

00:22:09.560 as

00:22:09.760 Chonchi 0.99

00:22:10.120 wrote,

00:22:10.660 and

00:22:10.780 Cardinal

00:22:11.120 Parolin

00:22:11.840 seems to

00:22:14.060 be already

00:22:14.440 repositioning

00:22:15.240 himself

00:22:15.700 regarding

00:22:16.520 this.

00:22:18.580 Cardinal

00:22:19.220 Parolin

00:22:20.100 does.

00:22:20.600 In what

00:22:21.140 way is

00:22:21.420 that?

00:22:22.860 Well,

00:22:23.820 I think

00:22:26.600 much to

00:22:27.120 Chonchi's 0.98

00:22:27.780 surprise,

00:22:28.640 Parolin

00:22:28.920 personally

00:22:30.540 wrote to

00:22:30.920 Chonchi 0.99

00:22:31.240 thanking him

00:22:31.940 for

00:22:32.520 sending

00:22:33.940 his inquiry

00:22:35.060 on July

00:22:36.140 3rd of

00:22:36.800 2023.

00:22:38.500 He's

00:22:39.140 not

00:22:39.320 expressed

00:22:39.700 himself

00:22:40.060 yet

00:22:40.360 on the

00:22:41.760 petition,

00:22:43.260 but I

00:22:44.940 think one

00:22:45.280 can understand

00:22:45.780 that if

00:22:46.140 the

00:22:46.440 Secretary

00:22:46.920 of State

00:22:47.700 responds

00:22:49.260 rather

00:22:49.580 cordially,

00:22:50.620 and he

00:22:51.860 was not

00:22:52.320 obliged

00:22:53.500 to,

00:22:54.320 necessarily,

00:22:55.980 to a

00:22:56.780 journalist

00:22:57.220 who's been

00:22:57.840 claiming for

00:22:58.420 three years

00:22:58.840 that

00:22:59.300 Pergoglio

00:23:00.360 is an

00:23:00.680 anti-pope,

00:23:02.360 it's a

00:23:03.180 political

00:23:03.640 gesture,

00:23:04.360 at least,

00:23:05.020 of

00:23:05.460 enormous

00:23:06.740 significance.

00:23:09.300 So,

00:23:10.040 from this

00:23:10.380 moment on,

00:23:12.600 as far as

00:23:13.160 Chonchi's 0.98

00:23:13.660 concerned,

00:23:14.100 the next

00:23:14.360 pope is

00:23:14.720 likely to

00:23:15.180 be the

00:23:15.360 first

00:23:15.680 to denounce

00:23:16.700 the

00:23:16.880 impedency

00:23:17.400 and

00:23:19.120 demand

00:23:20.360 the

00:23:20.580 convocation

00:23:21.480 of a

00:23:22.040 conclave.

00:23:23.320 That's why

00:23:23.900 he's

00:23:24.020 written a

00:23:24.320 public

00:23:24.500 letter to

00:23:24.860 Bishop

00:23:25.060 Strickland,

00:23:25.740 who,

00:23:26.420 however,

00:23:27.760 has so

00:23:28.580 far been

00:23:29.080 unwilling or

00:23:30.700 responsive to

00:23:32.040 consider

00:23:32.480 this

00:23:33.220 petition.

00:23:34.060 Okay.

00:23:36.740 So,

00:23:37.200 has

00:23:38.180 Chonchi's 0.98

00:23:39.420 thesis been

00:23:39.940 challenged?

00:23:42.040 Oh,

00:23:42.420 yeah.

00:23:44.140 Again,

00:23:44.920 nationally,

00:23:45.720 in Italy,

00:23:48.160 most vehemently.

00:23:49.580 It's

00:23:49.680 usually,

00:23:51.240 he's the

00:23:53.200 object of

00:23:53.800 either

00:23:54.080 indifference

00:23:54.760 or

00:23:55.340 offensive

00:23:57.680 and

00:23:59.240 non-contested

00:24:01.800 unargued

00:24:02.380 remarks,

00:24:03.520 including

00:24:04.900 pretty much

00:24:06.500 outright

00:24:06.920 insults.

00:24:09.880 The

00:24:09.980 most,

00:24:11.000 the theory

00:24:12.360 that's most

00:24:12.960 opposed is

00:24:13.740 that of

00:24:14.100 the

00:24:14.320 substantial

00:24:14.800 error,

00:24:16.340 which

00:24:17.780 maintains

00:24:18.220 that Ratzinger

00:24:18.720 was

00:24:19.080 mistaken

00:24:20.820 because he

00:24:22.880 was influenced

00:24:23.520 by

00:24:24.080 post

00:24:26.140 or

00:24:27.280 conciliar

00:24:28.820 of

00:24:29.020 Vatican II

00:24:29.680 modernists.

00:24:33.140 It could

00:24:34.000 be a

00:24:35.420 valid

00:24:35.680 theory

00:24:36.540 in

00:24:36.920 theory

00:24:37.440 because

00:24:38.100 the

00:24:38.480 declaratio

00:24:40.240 is not

00:24:40.600 a valid

00:24:40.940 application,

00:24:41.900 but

00:24:42.120 Chonchi's 0.98

00:24:43.940 study,

00:24:44.500 with its

00:24:44.920 analysis of

00:24:45.820 again,

00:24:46.400 hundreds of

00:24:47.820 texts

00:24:48.520 and

00:24:49.140 phrases

00:24:49.960 and

00:24:50.500 syntaxes

00:24:51.460 and

00:24:51.820 messages

00:24:52.960 in Ratzinger's

00:24:53.680 code,

00:24:53.900 is

00:24:55.840 what's

00:24:56.160 referred to

00:24:56.600 in

00:24:57.040 moral

00:24:58.460 theology

00:24:58.780 as a

00:24:59.040 broad

00:24:59.320 mental

00:24:59.820 restriction,

00:25:00.960 as well

00:25:02.280 as the

00:25:03.320 implementation,

00:25:06.160 really the

00:25:06.600 perfect

00:25:06.960 implementation

00:25:07.540 of a

00:25:08.700 canonical

00:25:09.660 device

00:25:10.400 that allows

00:25:12.360 the election

00:25:12.960 of Bergoglio

00:25:14.320 to be declared

00:25:14.960 null and void

00:25:15.700 unequivocally

00:25:16.720 demonstrates

00:25:17.680 that is

00:25:18.800 Ratzinger's

00:25:19.660 perfect

00:25:20.060 awareness and

00:25:20.640 strategy in

00:25:21.180 conducting

00:25:21.640 this

00:25:23.280 operation,

00:25:24.500 if you

00:25:24.720 will.

00:25:26.280 Chonchi's 0.98

00:25:26.700 demonstrated

00:25:27.180 that Ratzinger

00:25:28.180 introduced

00:25:28.760 into canon

00:25:29.320 law,

00:25:30.140 that was

00:25:30.520 Ratzinger

00:25:31.460 under

00:25:31.780 obviously

00:25:35.860 the

00:25:36.560 of

00:25:36.760 renouncing

00:25:37.160 the

00:25:37.320 munus,

00:25:38.360 which

00:25:41.020 was not

00:25:41.720 necessary

00:25:42.280 before,

00:25:43.920 so that

00:25:44.580 concept is

00:25:45.720 introduced

00:25:46.040 for the

00:25:46.400 first time

00:25:47.040 in the

00:25:47.560 most

00:25:49.060 recently

00:25:49.400 revised

00:25:49.860 edition of

00:25:50.380 canon law

00:25:50.740 in 1993.

00:25:51.640 canon

00:25:52.640 332.2,

00:25:54.060 which was

00:25:54.940 not necessary

00:25:55.580 before,

00:25:56.080 so,

00:25:56.500 and then

00:25:57.040 in 1996,

00:25:59.040 the same

00:25:59.640 Cardinal

00:26:00.600 Ratzinger,

00:26:01.580 future

00:26:01.820 Benedict XVI,

00:26:03.460 reiterated

00:26:04.380 the

00:26:04.740 Universi

00:26:05.340 Dominici

00:26:05.660 Gregis

00:26:06.260 in the

00:26:07.760 need to

00:26:08.100 renounce

00:26:08.640 in accordance

00:26:09.460 with

00:26:09.980 that canon,

00:26:12.580 and

00:26:13.200 the idea

00:26:15.160 for Chonchi

00:26:15.820 is that,

00:26:16.380 and so

00:26:16.720 in 2013,

00:26:17.600 he suddenly

00:26:18.420 forgets

00:26:19.600 what he

00:26:19.880 himself

00:26:20.340 had

00:26:20.660 designed

00:26:22.320 a blueprint

00:26:22.820 of,

00:26:23.880 and

00:26:23.980 just

00:26:25.860 renounced

00:26:26.240 as a

00:26:26.480 mini

00:26:26.620 stadium.

00:26:28.400 In any

00:26:29.140 event,

00:26:29.600 so,

00:26:30.200 Benedict was

00:26:31.360 not wrong,

00:26:32.060 he did

00:26:32.300 something so

00:26:33.040 ingenious

00:26:33.520 that in

00:26:34.500 the most

00:26:34.820 superficial way,

00:26:35.580 it appears

00:26:35.940 as a

00:26:36.560 conspiracy,

00:26:38.260 according to

00:26:39.360 a defensive

00:26:40.260 category

00:26:40.820 invented by

00:26:41.520 the CIA

00:26:42.660 in 1967

00:26:43.660 for the

00:26:44.320 Warren

00:26:44.520 Commission,

00:26:44.900 which

00:26:45.260 no one

00:26:46.620 believes

00:26:46.880 any

00:26:47.060 longer,

00:26:47.440 it's

00:26:47.600 been

00:26:48.400 profoundly

00:26:49.840 debunked,

00:26:52.560 not to

00:26:52.920 mention

00:26:53.100 overused

00:26:53.660 today,

00:26:54.140 the idea

00:26:54.500 of

00:26:54.620 conspiracy.

00:26:55.840 So it

00:26:56.240 takes

00:26:56.440 less

00:26:56.860 than half

00:27:01.140 an hour

00:27:01.540 to watch

00:27:02.440 his three

00:27:03.460 documentaries,

00:27:04.680 Dias 1.00

00:27:05.040 Irai,

00:27:06.480 Intelligenti

00:27:07.240 Paoca,

00:27:08.300 and Red

00:27:08.900 Rationum,

00:27:09.700 to get

00:27:10.060 the full

00:27:10.520 picture.

00:27:12.140 And in

00:27:12.560 Chonchi's own 0.79

00:27:13.080 words,

00:27:13.400 I hope

00:27:13.880 that

00:27:14.620 LifeSite

00:27:15.400 would one

00:27:15.840 day

00:27:16.080 broadcast

00:27:17.340 them.

00:27:20.720 So there

00:27:22.260 are other

00:27:22.820 efforts

00:27:24.200 going on.

00:27:25.280 I've talked

00:27:25.760 to a number

00:27:26.100 of people

00:27:26.480 about an

00:27:29.360 effort to

00:27:30.260 remove

00:27:32.140 Bergoglio

00:27:32.940 and establish

00:27:34.100 that he's

00:27:34.460 not the

00:27:34.740 Pope.

00:27:35.520 What does

00:27:36.380 Professor

00:27:36.800 Chonchi make 1.00

00:27:38.380 of those?

00:27:41.180 Well,

00:27:41.760 again,

00:27:44.440 in Chonchi's

00:27:45.020 own words,

00:27:46.380 what the

00:27:47.740 traditionalists

00:27:48.600 themselves

00:27:49.160 think,

00:27:49.780 albeit from

00:27:50.500 different

00:27:51.640 voices,

00:27:53.460 it's very

00:27:56.240 difficult.

00:27:56.980 It's not

00:27:57.160 impossible,

00:27:58.500 but it's

00:27:59.100 very difficult

00:28:00.200 to depose

00:28:01.280 a heretical

00:28:01.720 or flawed

00:28:02.200 Pope,

00:28:03.620 precisely

00:28:04.040 because there

00:28:04.660 is a lack

00:28:05.200 of jurisprudence

00:28:06.740 on the

00:28:08.340 matter,

00:28:08.600 notwithstanding

00:28:09.120 the opinions

00:28:10.380 of Thomas

00:28:10.860 Aquinas,

00:28:11.540 Robert

00:28:11.800 Bellarmine,

00:28:12.340 et cetera,

00:28:13.380 over the

00:28:13.760 centuries.

00:28:16.320 In

00:28:16.880 addition,

00:28:17.640 and to

00:28:18.600 demonstrate

00:28:19.100 any

00:28:19.440 irregularities

00:28:21.640 in a

00:28:22.260 2013

00:28:22.700 conclave,

00:28:24.460 kind of

00:28:24.840 word of

00:28:25.160 mouth,

00:28:25.640 what really

00:28:26.060 happened,

00:28:27.400 in a

00:28:27.700 2013

00:28:28.180 conclave

00:28:29.040 deemed

00:28:29.600 legitimate,

00:28:30.420 that could 0.68

00:28:32.720 be remedied

00:28:33.300 by a

00:28:33.800 universal

00:28:34.280 peaceful

00:28:35.380 acceptance,

00:28:36.260 the only

00:28:36.540 viable,

00:28:37.980 according to

00:28:38.560 Chonchi,

00:28:38.980 the only

00:28:39.220 viable and

00:28:40.020 readily

00:28:41.620 available

00:28:42.200 downhill

00:28:44.100 road here

00:28:45.080 is that

00:28:46.340 of the

00:28:47.220 impeded

00:28:47.940 C argument

00:28:48.800 and the

00:28:49.300 finding of

00:28:49.820 nullity,

00:28:51.580 the nullity

00:28:52.320 of the

00:28:52.660 2013

00:28:53.080 conclave

00:28:53.880 convened

00:28:54.460 with the

00:28:54.960 Pope

00:28:55.240 impeded

00:28:56.740 as such.

00:28:57.760 The 2013

00:28:58.320 conclave

00:28:59.020 was

00:28:59.820 illegitimate,

00:29:00.680 so neither

00:29:01.060 Bergoglio's

00:29:01.840 heresies,

00:29:03.840 which are

00:29:05.160 manifest,

00:29:06.440 nor

00:29:06.640 migralities 0.99

00:29:07.620 are actually

00:29:08.280 of any

00:29:09.000 interest,

00:29:09.420 they're

00:29:09.520 basically

00:29:09.860 moot

00:29:10.280 points.

00:29:11.960 The

00:29:12.180 canonical

00:29:12.500 road is

00:29:13.000 paved,

00:29:13.540 therefore,

00:29:15.180 just tell

00:29:15.660 the truth,

00:29:16.320 says Chonchi,

00:29:17.680 Bergoglio is

00:29:18.280 not the

00:29:18.740 true Pope

00:29:19.300 because

00:29:19.820 Benedict

00:29:20.200 never

00:29:20.700 abdicated.

00:29:22.900 The

00:29:23.000 pre-2013

00:29:23.660 appointed

00:29:24.100 cardinals

00:29:24.580 must simply

00:29:25.140 declare that

00:29:25.800 the Pope

00:29:26.120 is dead 0.70

00:29:26.620 and a

00:29:27.520 conclave

00:29:28.300 legitimate

00:29:29.600 one must

00:29:30.400 be

00:29:30.640 convened

00:29:31.300 and

00:29:31.680 Bergoglio

00:29:32.040 must be

00:29:32.540 sanctioned

00:29:33.020 according to

00:29:33.680 canon

00:29:33.980 1375,

00:29:36.420 which

00:29:36.600 sanctions

00:29:37.120 the

00:29:37.360 usurpation

00:29:38.480 of an

00:29:39.020 ecclesiastical

00:29:39.720 office.

00:29:41.900 Wow.

00:29:44.840 What else

00:29:45.700 might you say

00:29:46.220 that

00:29:46.660 Professor Chonchi

00:29:48.220 is looking

00:29:48.560 for?

00:29:48.840 He would

00:29:55.180 say,

00:29:55.520 he does

00:29:55.700 say,

00:29:56.660 that

00:29:57.180 the

00:29:58.120 media's

00:29:58.720 support of

00:29:59.320 the whole

00:29:59.660 remaining

00:30:00.160 Catholic

00:30:01.940 world

00:30:02.480 without a

00:30:04.660 critical mass,

00:30:05.960 without

00:30:08.800 widespread

00:30:09.480 awareness,

00:30:10.480 it's going

00:30:11.160 to be

00:30:11.340 really difficult

00:30:12.300 for the

00:30:12.840 cardinals to

00:30:13.700 take action.

00:30:15.240 the risk

00:30:17.120 is that

00:30:18.060 the

00:30:19.900 church

00:30:20.140 will enter

00:30:20.760 another

00:30:22.060 second

00:30:23.380 immediately

00:30:24.400 following

00:30:25.100 impure

00:30:26.620 conclave

00:30:27.380 with

00:30:29.280 all of

00:30:29.780 those

00:30:30.160 Bergoglian

00:30:31.000 named

00:30:32.300 false

00:30:32.840 cardinals

00:30:33.400 and thus

00:30:33.940 continuous

00:30:34.600 anti-papal

00:30:36.500 line of

00:30:37.120 succession,

00:30:38.780 devoid

00:30:39.340 of

00:30:39.520 munus

00:30:40.080 and

00:30:41.800 constantly

00:30:42.200 lacking

00:30:42.700 the assistance

00:30:43.320 of the

00:30:43.540 Holy

00:30:43.680 Spirit,

00:30:44.180 which is

00:30:44.400 also

00:30:44.620 mentioned

00:30:44.960 in

00:30:45.260 the

00:30:45.640 catechism

00:30:46.100 of the

00:30:46.320 Catholic

00:30:46.580 Church,

00:30:46.980 by the

00:30:47.200 way.

00:30:49.140 And

00:30:49.280 consequently

00:30:49.700 the

00:30:49.900 visible

00:30:50.260 canonical

00:30:50.660 church

00:30:51.160 is

00:30:51.860 in

00:30:52.780 danger

00:30:53.200 of

00:30:53.740 ending

00:30:54.600 forever.

00:30:57.220 First

00:30:57.660 time in

00:30:57.940 history

00:30:58.120 this

00:30:58.320 has ever

00:30:59.480 happened.

00:31:01.800 All

00:31:02.440 Catholics

00:31:02.880 should only

00:31:03.380 care about

00:31:03.980 one thing,

00:31:04.660 therefore,

00:31:05.100 pre-2013

00:31:05.940 conclave

00:31:06.500 that can

00:31:06.840 return

00:31:07.220 a

00:31:08.100 legitimate

00:31:08.440 Pope

00:31:08.760 to the

00:31:09.060 throne

00:31:09.280 likable

00:31:10.020 or

00:31:10.460 dislikable

00:31:11.620 problems,

00:31:13.820 et cetera,

00:31:14.240 included,

00:31:14.800 whatever it

00:31:15.320 may be,

00:31:15.980 but

00:31:16.160 nevertheless

00:31:17.300 endowed

00:31:17.880 with the

00:31:18.780 actual

00:31:19.200 Petrine

00:31:19.940 munus.

00:31:21.720 And

00:31:22.060 finally,

00:31:23.320 Andrea

00:31:24.260 Chodci would 1.00

00:31:25.200 like to

00:31:25.860 thank

00:31:26.260 you

00:31:27.640 personally

00:31:28.200 and John

00:31:28.660 Henry

00:31:28.880 Weston

00:31:29.240 and LifeSide

00:31:29.700 News

00:31:29.980 for this

00:31:31.620 space,

00:31:33.000 and he

00:31:33.360 remains at

00:31:33.800 the complete

00:31:34.080 disposal of

00:31:34.760 all American

00:31:35.440 media who

00:31:35.900 would like to

00:31:36.320 explore this

00:31:36.860 issue

00:31:37.220 further.

00:31:38.880 Interesting.

00:31:39.900 We have a

00:31:40.520 number of

00:31:41.360 other

00:31:41.520 questions,

00:31:42.060 if you

00:31:42.180 wouldn't

00:31:42.360 mind.

00:31:44.640 This

00:31:45.160 distinction

00:31:45.640 between

00:31:46.320 munus

00:31:46.960 and

00:31:47.540 ministerium

00:31:48.160 that was

00:31:49.020 discussed

00:31:51.020 by Catholic

00:31:51.880 theologians

00:31:52.340 prior to

00:31:52.800 2013,

00:31:53.400 or is it

00:31:53.720 a new

00:31:54.120 concept?

00:31:56.820 Okay,

00:31:57.160 and at

00:31:57.380 this point,

00:31:58.000 I must

00:31:58.880 add,

00:31:59.700 I know

00:32:01.060 that

00:32:01.520 Chodci 0.89

00:32:03.480 has

00:32:04.500 perhaps

00:32:05.060 added

00:32:06.100 some

00:32:06.500 further

00:32:07.100 feedback,

00:32:07.680 but I've

00:32:07.880 not had

00:32:08.200 an

00:32:08.460 opportunity

00:32:09.240 to visit

00:32:09.580 it.

00:32:09.760 So this

00:32:10.860 is not

00:32:11.340 his words,

00:32:12.060 these are

00:32:12.360 now,

00:32:12.660 this is

00:32:12.920 my

00:32:13.160 commentary,

00:32:13.720 but I

00:32:14.120 do believe

00:32:14.580 that he

00:32:14.960 would be

00:32:15.940 in agreement

00:32:16.380 with me

00:32:17.520 as we

00:32:18.600 discuss

00:32:18.960 this

00:32:19.320 rather

00:32:20.160 thoroughly

00:32:20.700 over a

00:32:21.680 long period

00:32:22.100 of time.

00:32:23.220 Yeah,

00:32:23.780 two sources

00:32:25.160 in particular

00:32:25.900 I'll name

00:32:26.460 off the bat,

00:32:27.020 and they're

00:32:27.560 really important

00:32:28.400 because of

00:32:29.700 the chronology

00:32:30.300 involved.

00:32:31.560 The first

00:32:31.960 is quite

00:32:32.300 simply the

00:32:32.880 first 250

00:32:34.160 words composed

00:32:35.020 of the

00:32:36.540 New Testament,

00:32:37.260 namely the

00:32:37.640 first letter

00:32:38.060 of Paul to

00:32:38.520 Corinthians 0.75

00:32:38.920 chapter 15

00:32:39.700 verses 1

00:32:40.300 through 8,

00:32:41.140 in which

00:32:42.200 Paul introduces

00:32:43.100 the first

00:32:43.740 original

00:32:44.200 kerygma,

00:32:45.540 creed,

00:32:46.880 of the

00:32:48.100 Catholic

00:32:48.340 Church of

00:32:48.940 Christianity,

00:32:50.680 and secondly,

00:32:53.000 in doing so,

00:32:54.620 the first

00:32:55.460 ecclesiology

00:32:56.320 or structure

00:32:57.140 of the

00:32:57.700 church.

00:32:58.780 The

00:32:59.020 kerygma 0.92

00:32:59.420 being,

00:33:00.640 the creed

00:33:01.180 being that

00:33:01.920 Christ

00:33:02.380 died,

00:33:04.400 was buried,

00:33:05.620 was raised

00:33:06.060 from the

00:33:06.320 dead,

00:33:06.920 and the

00:33:07.160 most

00:33:07.360 important

00:33:07.800 fourth

00:33:08.160 point,

00:33:08.700 which the

00:33:09.480 vast

00:33:09.880 majority

00:33:10.340 of

00:33:10.600 theologians

00:33:11.440 either just

00:33:11.900 gloss over

00:33:12.440 or miss

00:33:12.740 completely,

00:33:13.680 is that he

00:33:14.040 appeared.

00:33:15.400 Remember,

00:33:15.780 Paul,

00:33:17.060 a Pharisee,

00:33:17.980 is a lawyer,

00:33:19.240 well-versed in

00:33:20.200 Mosaic law as

00:33:21.420 well as Roman 0.98

00:33:22.060 law,

00:33:23.160 and so he

00:33:23.840 knows exactly

00:33:24.400 what he's

00:33:24.720 doing.

00:33:25.060 He's providing

00:33:25.560 legal precedent

00:33:26.500 and eyewitness

00:33:28.160 testimony for

00:33:30.000 this,

00:33:30.300 if it's all

00:33:32.120 true and

00:33:32.560 real,

00:33:33.640 human

00:33:36.500 species

00:33:37.860 changing

00:33:38.540 revelation.

00:33:40.260 Okay.

00:33:41.280 Christ

00:33:41.760 appeared,

00:33:42.500 and the

00:33:43.760 appearances

00:33:44.320 occur in

00:33:45.160 six points,

00:33:46.100 and this is

00:33:46.500 where he lays

00:33:47.040 out the

00:33:47.380 first ecclesiology

00:33:48.420 then,

00:33:48.900 or structure,

00:33:49.780 of the

00:33:50.900 church.

00:33:51.180 In other

00:33:51.420 words,

00:33:51.720 this is not

00:33:52.400 just

00:33:52.740 neo-testamentary

00:33:54.180 witness,

00:33:56.500 but it's

00:33:58.240 the first

00:33:58.560 thing ever

00:33:58.960 written in

00:33:59.640 the New

00:34:00.380 Testament.

00:34:00.880 The second

00:34:01.260 point comes

00:34:02.680 from Cyprian

00:34:04.100 of Carthage

00:34:04.880 between the

00:34:06.000 years 248

00:34:06.900 and 258,

00:34:08.620 the middle

00:34:09.060 of the

00:34:09.320 third century,

00:34:10.660 when he

00:34:11.220 is the

00:34:11.680 first to

00:34:12.040 introduce

00:34:12.500 terms for

00:34:13.820 the first

00:34:14.120 time in

00:34:14.420 Latin,

00:34:14.880 such as

00:34:15.260 catedra

00:34:15.800 petri,

00:34:16.800 primatus

00:34:17.340 petri,

00:34:18.540 the unitas

00:34:19.400 ecclesia

00:34:19.980 catholicae,

00:34:20.860 the oneness

00:34:21.740 or unity

00:34:22.240 of the

00:34:22.620 Catholic

00:34:22.900 church,

00:34:23.360 the chair

00:34:23.720 of Peter,

00:34:24.820 the primacy

00:34:25.860 of Peter.

00:34:27.200 The reason

00:34:27.500 why these

00:34:27.840 are significant

00:34:28.320 is one,

00:34:28.760 you have

00:34:28.900 not just

00:34:30.060 a neo-testamentary

00:34:31.180 source.

00:34:32.120 It's the

00:34:32.380 first thing

00:34:32.700 ever written

00:34:33.080 in the

00:34:33.340 New Testament,

00:34:34.660 year 54.

00:34:35.880 First thing

00:34:36.340 ever written.

00:34:37.880 Number two

00:34:38.580 is that

00:34:39.640 with Cyprian

00:34:40.140 of Carthage,

00:34:41.540 we're still

00:34:42.480 70 years

00:34:43.320 before

00:34:44.260 the first

00:34:47.520 counts of

00:34:48.000 Nicaea

00:34:48.440 in 325,

00:34:50.340 the first

00:34:50.800 regardless

00:34:52.020 of

00:34:52.420 the issue

00:34:58.700 of political

00:35:02.400 partisanship,

00:35:03.360 ecclesial

00:35:03.900 partisanship

00:35:05.100 post-Constantine.

00:35:08.000 This is well

00:35:08.500 before Constantine

00:35:09.460 ever came on

00:35:09.940 the scene.

00:35:10.520 So these

00:35:10.900 issues were

00:35:11.400 already resolved,

00:35:13.180 specifically,

00:35:14.000 forgive this

00:35:14.720 rather a bit

00:35:15.520 roundabout

00:35:16.100 answer to your

00:35:17.020 question,

00:35:17.880 but yeah,

00:35:18.180 regarding the

00:35:18.600 ministerium

00:35:19.300 and Moon

00:35:20.960 was the

00:35:21.340 distinction,

00:35:22.560 I should say,

00:35:23.740 between the

00:35:24.580 two.

00:35:24.760 Yeah.

00:35:26.460 Okay.

00:35:27.500 So there's

00:35:29.840 another issue

00:35:31.260 that I've

00:35:34.020 found here in

00:35:34.560 his letter of

00:35:35.160 resignation.

00:35:36.200 Bennett XVI

00:35:36.960 says,

00:35:37.840 and I'll quote

00:35:38.340 it for you,

00:35:38.780 the sea of

00:35:40.520 Rome,

00:35:41.480 the sea of

00:35:42.380 Saint Peter

00:35:43.040 will be

00:35:44.260 vacant and

00:35:45.880 a conclave

00:35:46.600 to elect

00:35:47.260 the new

00:35:47.860 supreme

00:35:48.300 pontiff

00:35:48.940 will have

00:35:49.600 to be

00:35:49.860 convoked

00:35:50.380 by those

00:35:51.240 whose

00:35:51.520 competence

00:35:52.180 it is.

00:35:53.720 So how

00:35:55.240 is the

00:35:55.780 claim that

00:35:56.380 he didn't

00:35:56.680 intend to

00:35:57.340 abdicate from

00:35:58.060 the papacy

00:35:58.520 compatible

00:35:59.080 with this

00:36:00.220 statement

00:36:00.520 that he

00:36:00.840 wrote?

00:36:03.960 Yeah,

00:36:04.920 well,

00:36:06.600 precisely

00:36:07.140 because

00:36:07.740 to whom

00:36:10.240 to whom

00:36:13.120 it's

00:36:13.540 the

00:36:14.280 competence

00:36:15.100 is required,

00:36:17.120 meaning

00:36:18.280 the

00:36:19.080 those

00:36:19.560 very same

00:36:20.180 cardinals

00:36:20.660 that up

00:36:21.860 until

00:36:22.400 his time

00:36:24.220 had been

00:36:25.680 created

00:36:26.160 as such.

00:36:27.520 So

00:36:27.660 in other

00:36:29.000 words,

00:36:29.460 the

00:36:29.620 any

00:36:30.220 cardinals

00:36:30.800 created

00:36:31.300 if

00:36:31.640 if the

00:36:32.540 conclave

00:36:33.120 itself

00:36:34.080 in March

00:36:35.320 of 2013

00:36:35.980 was

00:36:38.800 illegitimate,

00:36:40.220 invalid,

00:36:41.100 then

00:36:41.600 the

00:36:43.000 gravity

00:36:43.580 of the

00:36:45.020 situation

00:36:45.600 is

00:36:46.460 that

00:36:48.000 serious.

00:36:49.400 Every

00:36:49.760 akta,

00:36:51.120 or I should

00:36:51.620 say aktum,

00:36:52.400 all akta

00:36:53.360 carried out

00:36:55.520 since then,

00:36:56.220 including the

00:36:59.460 canonization

00:37:00.040 of John

00:37:00.680 Paul II,

00:37:02.220 are null

00:37:02.960 and void.

00:37:05.340 That's it.

00:37:07.500 And going

00:37:08.380 into a

00:37:09.280 further

00:37:09.640 conclave,

00:37:10.960 which

00:37:11.240 rumor has

00:37:12.660 it,

00:37:12.960 obviously,

00:37:13.600 you know,

00:37:15.140 here in

00:37:15.420 Rome is

00:37:15.980 on the

00:37:17.120 horizon,

00:37:18.540 very brief,

00:37:19.140 short horizon.

00:37:19.940 that means

00:37:23.360 if nothing,

00:37:24.320 if this

00:37:24.600 does not

00:37:25.160 change,

00:37:26.100 then we'll

00:37:28.280 have a

00:37:28.820 continuation

00:37:29.200 of this

00:37:29.800 and that

00:37:30.120 will in

00:37:30.560 fact be

00:37:31.020 the end

00:37:31.580 of the

00:37:32.100 at least

00:37:33.440 visible

00:37:35.300 sacramental

00:37:35.840 canonical

00:37:36.260 church.

00:37:37.140 The only

00:37:37.880 thing we'll

00:37:38.200 have left

00:37:38.580 is thanks

00:37:39.300 to St.

00:37:39.740 Augustine

00:37:40.220 and before

00:37:40.660 him,

00:37:40.980 St.

00:37:41.500 Cyprian

00:37:41.880 of Carthage

00:37:43.520 is

00:37:45.460 baptismal

00:37:46.100 grace.

00:37:47.560 It's that

00:37:47.940 serious,

00:37:48.520 the situation.

00:37:49.940 For anyone

00:37:50.440 who cares.

00:37:52.620 So we

00:37:54.800 are in

00:37:55.120 a situation

00:37:55.580 because

00:37:55.800 Benedict

00:37:56.060 died a

00:37:56.620 year ago

00:37:57.140 and if

00:37:59.200 he was

00:37:59.600 Pope up

00:38:00.060 to his

00:38:00.380 death,

00:38:00.800 what would

00:38:01.180 be the

00:38:01.560 significance

00:38:02.000 of the

00:38:02.660 cardinals

00:38:03.140 whom he

00:38:03.560 appointed

00:38:04.040 currently

00:38:05.220 stating

00:38:05.720 that Francis

00:38:07.040 is actually

00:38:07.600 Pope?

00:38:12.460 Yeah,

00:38:13.480 that's

00:38:15.420 the

00:38:15.640 conundrum,

00:38:16.440 isn't it?

00:38:16.980 In fact,

00:38:17.620 also,

00:38:18.160 it's an

00:38:18.540 important

00:38:18.920 distinction

00:38:19.440 to be

00:38:19.680 made.

00:38:20.720 The

00:38:20.960 position

00:38:22.440 of the

00:38:22.780 impeded

00:38:23.620 C

00:38:24.080 is not

00:38:26.540 again,

00:38:27.860 it's not

00:38:28.240 the same

00:38:28.740 as the

00:38:29.720 vacancy.

00:38:33.440 The

00:38:33.960 impeded

00:38:34.500 C position

00:38:35.240 ends

00:38:37.140 with the

00:38:38.380 death of

00:38:38.960 Benedict

00:38:39.160 16th on

00:38:40.320 December

00:38:40.720 30th.

00:38:40.960 This is

00:38:41.180 just a

00:38:41.440 matter of

00:38:41.760 academic

00:38:42.140 exercise,

00:38:42.980 okay?

00:38:43.620 Ends with 0.66

00:38:44.320 the death

00:38:44.800 of Benedict

00:38:45.480 16th on

00:38:46.200 December 31st,

00:38:47.320 2022.

00:38:48.600 And that

00:38:49.340 is when

00:38:49.800 the

00:38:50.060 vacancy

00:38:51.420 begins.

00:38:59.240 I don't

00:39:00.020 know what

00:39:00.420 to say.

00:39:00.840 In fact,

00:39:01.220 that's part

00:39:02.080 of

00:39:04.320 the

00:39:06.720 interest

00:39:07.080 and

00:39:07.340 design

00:39:07.840 and

00:39:08.000 emphasis

00:39:08.320 on the

00:39:09.200 petition

00:39:09.860 for,

00:39:11.620 in other

00:39:11.900 words,

00:39:12.640 this is

00:39:13.480 the elephant

00:39:14.160 in the

00:39:14.400 room.

00:39:15.840 And it's

00:39:16.560 up to

00:39:17.380 those who

00:39:19.660 are

00:39:20.040 legitimately

00:39:20.580 given,

00:39:22.640 the only

00:39:23.420 ones

00:39:23.640 legitimately

00:39:24.200 given,

00:39:25.360 as per

00:39:25.760 canon law,

00:39:26.280 the authority

00:39:27.280 and power

00:39:27.820 to do

00:39:28.200 anything

00:39:28.420 about

00:39:28.740 this,

00:39:30.200 is to

00:39:30.540 do

00:39:30.680 something

00:39:30.900 about

00:39:31.180 this.

00:39:31.740 And at

00:39:32.000 the very

00:39:32.260 least,

00:39:32.860 to

00:39:33.120 address

00:39:34.500 these

00:39:35.120 glaring,

00:39:37.620 open-ended

00:39:38.520 questions,

00:39:40.260 which have

00:39:40.520 not been

00:39:40.820 resolved.

00:39:42.560 And so

00:39:43.120 you're,

00:39:44.260 again,

00:39:44.700 kind of a

00:39:45.200 long roundabout

00:39:45.740 answer to

00:39:46.280 your initial

00:39:46.740 question,

00:39:47.520 that is the

00:39:48.420 problem.

00:39:49.700 Not so much

00:39:51.220 what do

00:39:51.560 they do,

00:39:51.900 what are

00:39:52.340 they doing?

00:39:53.800 It would

00:39:54.300 seem to

00:39:54.640 be that

00:39:55.020 everyone is

00:39:55.500 remaining

00:39:55.780 silent.

00:39:56.500 unresponsive.

00:40:01.860 And finally,

00:40:03.680 do you see

00:40:04.600 a danger

00:40:04.980 of kind

00:40:05.980 of a

00:40:06.260 narrative

00:40:06.600 thinking

00:40:07.080 in the

00:40:08.620 practice

00:40:09.080 of reading

00:40:09.600 hidden

00:40:10.040 messages

00:40:10.480 into

00:40:11.140 statements

00:40:11.780 whose

00:40:12.440 surface

00:40:12.840 meaning

00:40:13.140 seems

00:40:13.680 opposed

00:40:14.200 to them?

00:40:14.900 So,

00:40:15.440 that is,

00:40:16.640 are we

00:40:17.380 in danger

00:40:17.740 of seeing

00:40:18.220 what we,

00:40:19.700 you know,

00:40:20.300 what confirms

00:40:21.100 a narrative

00:40:21.660 that we

00:40:22.200 have adopted

00:40:22.720 for other

00:40:23.120 reasons,

00:40:23.640 rather than

00:40:24.340 just the

00:40:25.800 simpler

00:40:26.060 truth?

00:40:26.500 Well,

00:40:29.120 I think

00:40:29.280 the simpler

00:40:29.740 truth is

00:40:30.920 precisely

00:40:31.760 what

00:40:32.540 Chongqi's 0.98

00:40:33.800 argumentation

00:40:35.100 is and

00:40:35.600 what we've

00:40:35.940 been

00:40:36.320 discussing.

00:40:38.120 I mean,

00:40:38.560 and again,

00:40:40.820 just as a

00:40:41.320 purely academic

00:40:42.160 exercise,

00:40:44.360 obviously,

00:40:47.000 you know,

00:40:47.380 humans are

00:40:48.700 probably that

00:40:50.120 one particular

00:40:50.760 species of

00:40:51.480 animal that

00:40:52.240 looks for

00:40:54.380 patterns as

00:40:55.060 part of

00:40:55.460 self-preservation,

00:40:56.480 it's part

00:40:57.060 of the

00:40:58.000 survival

00:40:58.360 instinct,

00:40:59.040 you look

00:40:59.580 for patterns.

00:41:01.820 So,

00:41:02.420 that's not

00:41:03.140 a bad

00:41:03.760 thing or

00:41:04.360 a negative

00:41:04.740 thing,

00:41:05.120 it's actually

00:41:05.640 part of

00:41:06.200 survival

00:41:06.980 and instinct

00:41:09.640 so much

00:41:11.680 more than

00:41:12.480 looking for

00:41:13.820 clues and

00:41:15.120 answers to

00:41:15.860 resolving

00:41:16.360 such

00:41:17.200 situation

00:41:18.420 as the

00:41:19.740 one in

00:41:19.960 which the

00:41:20.280 Catholic

00:41:20.540 Church,

00:41:21.100 and for

00:41:21.380 that matter,

00:41:21.700 the world

00:41:22.080 itself is

00:41:23.760 going

00:41:24.020 through.

00:41:25.220 Because

00:41:25.940 remember,

00:41:27.640 for your

00:41:29.320 audience,

00:41:30.600 this is of

00:41:31.660 importance,

00:41:32.360 not merely

00:41:32.820 or not,

00:41:33.860 I should say,

00:41:34.500 simply,

00:41:35.800 uniquely to

00:41:37.140 a faithful

00:41:39.400 practicing

00:41:40.140 Catholic

00:41:40.660 believer,

00:41:41.860 or a

00:41:43.000 Christian

00:41:43.280 believer for

00:41:43.720 that matter.

00:41:44.120 it's even

00:41:45.200 to the

00:41:45.640 interest of

00:41:46.740 an atheist,

00:41:48.340 a non-believer,

00:41:49.580 and anyone

00:41:50.140 that may

00:41:50.540 find

00:41:50.980 themselves

00:41:52.620 in between.

00:41:54.200 Because

00:41:54.840 there is

00:41:56.320 a temporal

00:41:57.280 nature to

00:41:58.340 this

00:41:59.380 moon,

00:41:59.920 the office

00:42:00.720 of the

00:42:01.440 papacy.

00:42:01.880 and a

00:42:04.500 lot of

00:42:04.940 things,

00:42:05.380 obviously,

00:42:05.880 as everyone

00:42:06.320 knows,

00:42:06.700 without going

00:42:07.120 into detail

00:42:07.640 here,

00:42:08.580 currently,

00:42:09.520 as we

00:42:09.760 speak,

00:42:10.140 on the

00:42:10.500 threshold

00:42:10.980 of the

00:42:13.000 Christmas

00:42:13.280 season,

00:42:14.140 2023,

00:42:15.380 going on

00:42:16.240 in the

00:42:16.440 world.

00:42:18.660 And so

00:42:18.960 this is

00:42:19.500 do or

00:42:19.900 die,

00:42:20.240 not just 0.98

00:42:20.700 for the

00:42:20.980 Catholic

00:42:21.280 Church,

00:42:22.500 institutionally

00:42:23.440 as such,

00:42:24.140 this is

00:42:24.580 do or

00:42:24.920 die for

00:42:25.660 human

00:42:27.160 civilization,

00:42:28.480 the human

00:42:29.200 race,

00:42:29.660 and the

00:42:29.800 human

00:42:29.980 species

00:42:30.360 as

00:42:30.760 we've

00:42:32.900 known it.

00:42:33.840 Again,

00:42:34.320 just look

00:42:35.360 at what

00:42:35.920 sorts of

00:42:37.980 statements

00:42:39.240 presumed,

00:42:41.720 again,

00:42:42.160 going back

00:42:42.680 to do

00:42:44.180 we actually

00:42:44.680 have a

00:42:45.040 real pope

00:42:45.580 or is

00:42:45.880 an anti-pope

00:42:46.620 question?

00:42:48.360 Just in

00:42:49.000 the past

00:42:49.380 few days,

00:42:49.880 the statements

00:42:50.300 coming out

00:42:50.820 of Rome

00:42:52.180 and the

00:42:52.420 Vatican

00:42:52.760 regarding

00:42:53.540 a number

00:42:53.980 of

00:42:54.380 issues.

00:42:57.600 So that's

00:42:58.220 and that's

00:42:59.020 not,

00:42:59.920 you want

00:43:00.500 that,

00:43:00.940 we're not

00:43:01.480 going to

00:43:01.880 undo that

00:43:02.500 spiral unless

00:43:03.360 we go

00:43:03.920 to the

00:43:05.780 starting

00:43:06.060 point.

00:43:06.600 You do

00:43:06.900 not plow

00:43:07.860 a field,

00:43:09.300 that is,

00:43:09.740 you do

00:43:09.960 not unweed

00:43:10.880 or uproot

00:43:12.140 weeds in

00:43:13.200 a field

00:43:13.760 by simply

00:43:14.980 mowing the

00:43:15.960 lawn.

00:43:17.700 You do

00:43:18.480 it by

00:43:18.960 uprooting

00:43:20.300 them.

00:43:21.180 So if

00:43:21.460 one does

00:43:21.800 not arrive

00:43:22.260 at the

00:43:22.560 root of

00:43:24.340 the problem

00:43:25.320 or at

00:43:25.700 least get

00:43:26.740 some debate

00:43:27.740 ball

00:43:28.880 rolling

00:43:29.460 seriously

00:43:30.320 regarding

00:43:31.000 that,

00:43:33.780 the idea

00:43:34.800 that your

00:43:35.180 average local

00:43:35.860 farmer will

00:43:36.380 tell you

00:43:36.680 what happens.

00:43:38.380 Indeed.

00:43:39.600 Well,

00:43:40.020 Professor Walters,

00:43:40.660 I want to

00:43:40.940 thank you

00:43:41.360 for your

00:43:41.680 time in

00:43:42.540 expounding

00:43:44.380 to us

00:43:44.880 this

00:43:45.360 controversial

00:43:46.980 yet intriguing

00:43:48.280 thesis that

00:43:48.900 I know

00:43:49.220 has sold

00:43:50.860 many copies

00:43:51.540 in Italy,

00:43:53.380 but really

00:43:53.960 I don't

00:43:54.760 know that

00:43:55.040 it's been

00:43:56.740 captured yet

00:43:57.380 in the

00:43:57.560 West.

00:43:57.920 So thank

00:43:58.260 you so

00:43:58.520 much for

00:43:58.800 bringing it

00:43:59.160 to us.

00:44:00.240 Sure.

00:44:00.820 Thank you

00:44:01.180 very much,

00:44:02.160 Mr. Weston

00:44:02.740 and your

00:44:03.080 crew,

00:44:04.000 your family

00:44:04.760 and a

00:44:05.380 blessed and

00:44:05.820 Merry Christmas

00:44:06.400 to you and

00:44:07.100 yours.

00:44:08.060 And to

00:44:08.580 you.

00:44:09.120 God bless

00:44:09.520 you.

00:44:11.540 And God

00:44:12.180 bless all

00:44:12.560 of you.

00:44:13.720 And we'll

00:44:13.960 see you next

00:44:14.300 time.

00:44:23.380 God bless you.
