The John-Henry Westen Show - FBI TERRORIZED His Family - FACE Act overreach

00:00:00.000 There were four armed guys in full tactical gear, right, bulletproof vests, long guns,

00:00:04.440 those weapons of war Joe Biden warns us about.

00:00:06.820 They had them pointed at me.

00:00:10.040 It gives me the great honor and privilege of introducing you to someone who,

00:00:14.540 if you read LifeSite, you know all about already.

00:00:16.940 But I've not had Paul Vaughn on my show yet, and so I am so grateful to him for agreeing to come on.

00:00:23.360 And we're also going to talk in a little bit to some of his family

00:00:26.960 who are also here at Bringing America Back to Life.

00:00:29.160 If you don't know, Paul Vaughn is the father of 11,

00:00:33.240 who was doing peaceful pro-life activism, praying and singing and counseling outside an abortuary in March of 2021.

00:00:45.180 And then had, very much like Mark Houck, his house raided by FBI with guns drawn in October of 2022.

00:00:54.020 So like a year and seven months or so later, out of the blue.

00:00:57.940 So, Paul, so good to be with you.

00:01:00.780 It's great to be with you, too.

00:01:01.860 Appreciate it.

00:01:02.560 God bless you.

00:01:03.880 Let's begin, as we always do, with the sign of the cross.

00:01:06.120 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

00:01:09.860 Amen.

00:01:11.080 So, Mark, you've got hero status,

00:01:15.520 at least pro-life activists and people of faith who watched this unfold, this horror unfold in America for so long.

00:01:24.780 Watched the Mark Houck story, watched your story, then watched the Joan Andrews and the rest get arrested.

00:01:31.240 But it's put you in a place of great admiration for the pro-life movement and great vilification for the other side.

00:01:40.420 But for those who don't know, give us your like five minute summary of what happened.

00:01:45.840 First of all, I would shun hero status and say, I'm just trying to be faithful.

00:01:48.980 Well, God puts us in stories and just the idea of just trying to be faithful where He puts us.

00:01:55.160 And hopefully, if anything's elevated through this, it's Him.

00:01:57.980 And His, hopefully, fruit working through my life as He's doing a work in our heart through it all.

00:02:02.680 You know the crazy story?

00:02:03.620 Like you said, we're 22 months or 18 months, rather, after the event in 21.

00:02:08.980 And they came in 22 and raided us and took me to federal holding beneath the federal courthouse

00:02:15.860 and ultimately dumped me on the streets after the armed raid and everything that happened.

00:02:23.160 It's just a, gosh, it's an amazing journey.

00:02:26.220 And to see what all transpired in that.

00:02:29.300 And you look at the proportionate response from the government to the exposed crime.

00:02:35.320 And it's just unfathomable to think that there's anything materially in this world that is operating here, right?

00:02:43.180 That there's some kind of connection between the crime and the response.

00:02:47.440 And it blows me away.

00:02:49.080 So there is a, there is actually, you know, a deep spiritual reality going on around us and playing out in this.

00:02:54.980 And I think it was the fact that it was so obvious made it a little bit easier to see God's story that He's writing

00:03:01.340 and to be willing and able to just kind of place yourself in His hands and trust Him in that.

00:03:07.740 Of course, when you open your curtains and you got the guns pointed at you and there's banging and yelling

00:03:12.000 and there's excitability and life-threatening actions, right?

00:03:15.980 A couple months, a couple weeks even after I was arrested, the same office, FBI office, killed a guy in his living room,

00:03:25.080 or in his kitchen, rather, a couple counties over from us.

00:03:27.880 Unrelated, not pro-life, not, right, just some other investigation.

00:03:31.620 But the thing is, they had lethal force.

00:03:32.920 They came in, he flinched or picked up something or did something that set him off and they shot him dead.

00:03:38.620 Same thing in Arkansas with the, you know, the guy over at the Bill Clinton Airport there in Arkansas on gun charges.

00:03:44.620 He'd sold six weapons or something.

00:03:46.480 And they came in and ended up shooting him dead as well.

00:03:49.200 So just seeing that, just, it really, I don't know, just puts the story and the picture in a broader perspective

00:03:57.480 of God's providence, of His protection, and His grace upon our life through the midst of the trial

00:04:03.160 that I think was just really amazing throughout the whole ordeal.

00:04:08.280 This happens at 7.15 in the morning.

00:04:10.280 You had already sent a few of your kids out to the car to go to school.

00:04:13.020 And after the police raided you, the kids were detained by the FBI in the yard itself.

00:04:19.560 Yeah, so we had seven of our 11 kids home that morning.

00:04:22.700 And so I just sent three out to the car and was, you know, about to take them to our homeschool co-op

00:04:27.780 that we go to or went to, you know, three times a week then.

00:04:31.200 And when the banging started and I didn't know at the time, as I look out the side window

00:04:35.460 that was open to where my car is and expected to see them.

00:04:38.080 And instead of seeing them, of course, I see two cars flashing lights

00:04:42.640 and the FBI is continuing to bang on my door, you know, yelling for me.

00:04:47.080 Not by name, of course, just, you know, open up FBI.

00:04:50.440 Not clearly communicating what they actually wanted or who they were or who they were looking for.

00:04:55.720 I asked, so it's the only thing that come to mind.

00:04:57.860 All right, anything you say in that situation, I don't care how many drama shows you watch,

00:05:01.780 you're never prepared for somebody banging on your door claiming to be FBI at 7 o'clock in the morning.

00:05:05.940 It just doesn't happen.

00:05:06.760 And I'm trying to process this and I'm like, who are you looking for?

00:05:10.380 That's an obvious thing.

00:05:11.180 Are you at the right house?

00:05:12.600 And they said, we're looking for you.

00:05:14.980 I'm like, how does that help?

00:05:17.080 Like, all that does is keep all the power in your hands

00:05:20.240 and doesn't let me know anything to make a decision that might be best for me.

00:05:23.880 And of course, that's part of their training and their motive in that.

00:05:27.280 But it's not right.

00:05:28.340 It's not just.

00:05:29.200 And it wasn't trying to de-escalate the situation.

00:05:32.000 They were very willing and, you know, to escalate the situation.

00:05:36.220 Incredible.

00:05:37.040 When you opened the door, give us a little bit of that.

00:05:39.540 How did that look like?

00:05:40.580 Where was your family?

00:05:41.380 Was your wife there?

00:05:42.580 Sure.

00:05:42.840 And my wife was back in the bedroom still. 1.00

00:05:45.760 Other kids were upstairs.

00:05:47.820 And, you know, the three kids I sent out to the car were being held.

00:05:50.920 I found out later, of course, by an armed guy.

00:05:53.700 There were four armed guys.

00:05:54.740 And I need to say that is full tactical gear, right?

00:05:58.100 Bulletproof vests, long guns, those weapons of war Joe Biden warns us about.

00:06:02.460 They had them pointed at me.

00:06:04.540 And they had the pistols and sidearms.

00:06:06.620 And so just a fully armed attack force, you know, four people and one holding my children's side yard, one, three on the porch with guns pointed at me as I opened the door to come out.

00:06:19.420 A couple others in the house at various places, most of them upstairs.

00:06:22.700 I think my 16-year-old at the time saw everything and came across the back and, you know, told my wife, Mom, the FBI is here.

00:06:30.700 They're arresting Daddy.

00:06:32.220 Those are words no person should have to hear their 16-year-old say.

00:06:35.800 But, you know, that's kind of the lay of the house that morning and what all happened there.

00:06:41.260 Can you describe, I know we're going to bring them on, but can you tell us what the ramifications were for your family?

00:06:46.760 It's yet to be seen in some ways because there's a long-lasting psychological warfare that they inflicted upon my family.

00:06:53.780 I mean, the immediate ramifications, my kids are curled up in a ball.

00:06:56.500 Dad's kidnapped.

00:06:57.220 They don't know where I am or why I'm arrested.

00:06:59.920 They showed no warrant.

00:07:00.800 They showed no actual identification other than their Velcro badges.

00:07:04.300 So I knew once I was in custody in the car, they showed me the warrant that said it was face-related, the face act.

00:07:10.560 So I knew it was pro-life.

00:07:12.000 But my wife didn't know. 0.99

00:07:13.220 My children didn't know.

00:07:15.320 You know, none of my state representatives, my sheriff, anybody in the state of Tennessee knew where I was for six hours.

00:07:21.180 And so that obviously leaves a lasting impact on the children and on our family.

00:07:25.140 We were talking recently, our soon-to-be four-year-old next week.

00:07:30.060 Her whole life, she was born two weeks, ten days after the event in March.

00:07:35.680 So we were expecting our 11th child during this pro-life event.

00:07:40.440 And so she was born.

00:07:41.880 She was 18 months old when they raided our house.

00:07:44.200 Her whole life has been involved in this case.

00:07:47.880 The peace in our home, the dad traveling.

00:07:52.420 Dad's on TV.

00:07:53.440 Dad's here.

00:07:53.860 Dad's talking about this.

00:07:54.720 You know, the children being jittery when somebody bangs on the door.

00:07:59.740 I mean, PTSD is still real.

00:08:03.000 And under certain circumstances, there's still this shock if it's early in the morning and the neighbors come by to offer farm eggs or something like neighbors in the country do.

00:08:11.860 What should be a nice, wonderful, loving act of neighborly kindness, you know, sets off triggers, you know, in some ways.

00:08:19.380 But I say that that's the natural piece of it.

00:08:22.360 And in Christ, though, we have the hope of his spirit working in us and the children learning that there is a battle going on, seeing it firsthand, understanding and discerning that in our culture.

00:08:32.440 Which, you know, if I want anything for my children, it's to be able to stand where God places them in this life that he's given them and to fulfill their part in this eternal narrative that's playing out.

00:08:43.660 And so from that perspective, I'm thankful for it.

00:08:47.760 I'm thankful for the grace that God has exhibited in our family and the growth and the maturity.

00:08:52.880 Of course, theologically, you really dig in deep when you're in stress and you're in a battle.

00:08:58.280 And so it's been a wonderful thing from that perspective for all of us involved.

00:09:03.980 And with the younger children, it's kind of hard to discern where they are sometimes.

00:09:07.080 But we know God ultimately works all things for good.

00:09:09.520 And so we rest in that and are excited to see what comes of it.

00:09:13.560 In terms of forgiveness, I presume you would have had to go through that with your kids as well and not harboring hatred or ill will toward these folks who were involved and even the powers that be.

00:09:27.100 Yeah, I think that's an ongoing thing.

00:09:31.140 And it's probably as a father, you know, that's one of the things you try to lead your family, try to figure out where they are.

00:09:36.500 And they're all different.

00:09:37.440 They're introverts, extroverts.

00:09:38.760 Everyone has different tendencies.

00:09:40.720 So discerning, you know, are they hanging on to some bitterness or is there things going on in their life makes it difficult.

00:09:47.280 But of course, we're constantly examining, re-examining those things, praying, you know, obviously with our children and ultimately trusting God, you know, for that.

00:09:57.140 That's beautiful.

00:09:58.120 It's, you can really tell in your circumstance, God works all things for good for those who love him, even the bad things.

00:10:06.900 Because, I mean, this could have been taken so awfully and horribly, you know, people in circumstances similar have their lives have broken apart, you know, because of the trauma to the children, the parents divorce and it gets worse and worse and worse.

00:10:20.280 But in your case, and through the grace of God, this has worked out too good for, even for you, even at this point, which is so, is still so fresh.

00:10:29.380 Absolutely.

00:10:30.020 And we have, when I talked earlier about pressing in, in the midst of the trials, one of the things God used, he prepares you where he, where he's taking you.

00:10:37.480 If you listen and pay attention.

00:10:38.960 And usually with someone like me, even when I'm not, he's faithful enough to beat me over the head.

00:10:43.220 And, and so my nightstand, the reading list of the things leading up to this event, the pro-life event and the trial was just full of church fathers and, and early church martyrs.

00:10:54.040 And, you know, we were, I was talking with someone downstairs at the event here today about the, the bishops and the people in the first, the council, the Nicene council and stuff.

00:11:04.020 These folks that were maimed, they had missing limbs and eyes gouged out and, and, and physical infirmities they bore in their body when they came to these councils for the sake of the gospel.

00:11:15.840 So we look at, Hey, we didn't get anything cut off.

00:11:18.780 We had, we weren't, you know, nothing when we weren't maimed and we, the joke in our household, these, these light momentary afflictions, right.

00:11:25.220 And we haven't yet resisted unto blood.

00:11:27.320 And so there's that reality that we have in the church that we see that, yeah, it's challenging.

00:11:34.480 There's, there's tough things.

00:11:35.840 And even in our own case, there's different levels, right.

00:11:37.640 We had, we didn't go to jail.

00:11:38.980 They didn't lose their dad to prison that our co-defendants did and people from the DC rescue did.

00:11:45.320 And there were people, you know, the department meant a whole lot more to as they got out of jail when they were facing another four years in prison, like Lauren Andy and others as well.

00:11:54.440 Um, and so I'm, uh, I try to put everything in perspective and try to remember, yeah, yeah, there's some persecution.

00:12:01.460 There's some challenges, but God does work all things for good, even horribly atrocious things.

00:12:06.600 He works for his good.

00:12:08.120 And, uh, and ultimately he's drawing us near to him.

00:12:10.560 And of course he set the example.

00:12:11.840 He laid his life down when he spread out his arms on the cross, right.

00:12:16.060 Who suffered more?

00:12:17.200 He said, look, if they hated me, they will hate you.

00:12:19.800 If they persecuted me, they're going to persecute you.

00:12:21.780 A servant's not greater than their master.

00:12:24.440 And so we have that comfort.

00:12:25.980 And, uh, and so whatever they do to us is really a material in the broader eternal story.

00:12:29.980 Right.

00:12:30.300 And so if we can just, God just grants us the grace to live here in the present, in the material world, as we're looking to eternity in our, in our, our actual home.

00:12:39.300 Beautiful.

00:12:39.740 So I want to talk to you also about the FACE Act, because this was the, what precipitated your arrest, freedom of access to clinic entrances acts.

00:12:49.420 Unbelievable.

00:12:50.260 It was created during the Clinton era.

00:12:51.720 And Trump suspended all the prosecutions, uh, on this.

00:12:58.240 He released the pro-life, uh, prisoners, the, the DC-9 or who were, um, incarcerated and treated horribly.

00:13:07.280 I've had many of them on my show to go through what happened to them.

00:13:10.420 Um, but we hear there's some hope or questioning anyway, the, the overturning of the FACE Act itself.

00:13:18.240 What President Trump did, which is, is great, is he reined in using FACE, said only, his DOJ is only going to prosecute under extreme circumstances of violence or actual need, uh, which is, you know, has always been the lie and the false narrative of FACE that it was actually needed.

00:13:34.120 I mean, if somebody shoots an abortionist, you know what, there are laws in every state against murder.

00:13:38.880 Yeah.

00:13:39.080 If somebody's stalking and intimidating clinic workers, there are laws in every state against stalking and intimidating in that fashion.

00:13:45.500 So the FACE Act didn't do anything other than create a political means for the government to put its weight, its hand on the scale of justice, and not just in, in the, the sense of justice in prosecuting, you know, federal actions.

00:14:00.000 But think about the narrative, think about the waterfall effect of our cultural discussion, and when we actually talk about abortion as a narrative, when you have those people that are willing to sit at the door, kind of the, the tip of the spear folks that are risking going to jail and going to federal prison because of this FACE Act, we went from having thousands of people doing that activity down to five or 10 or 12, and so greatly curtail their ability and their willingness to lay down their life and identifying with the unborn.

00:14:28.420 But think about the sidewalk counselors, the prayer warriors that are on the streets, the political organization, even the media, those writing the narrative and the story.

00:14:37.440 Before I continue, are you enjoying this video?

00:15:19.160 Providence.

00:15:20.460 Providence and?

00:15:21.760 Pascal and?

00:15:23.760 Mercy and?

00:15:25.500 And Eden.

00:15:26.420 And Eden.

00:15:27.280 Wow.

00:15:28.060 So these are four of your 11 children.

00:15:30.240 Congratulations, by the way.

00:15:31.580 As a father of eight, I love that you guys have made us seem like a small family.

00:15:37.060 That's beautiful.

00:15:38.640 And we actually, we have 11 as well, but there's three up there.

00:15:41.960 We lost three.

00:15:42.840 And yeah, we, but beautiful.

00:15:45.700 Beautiful, beautiful.

00:15:46.220 I saw some photos of you guys.

00:15:48.000 Um, the one on the, it's just with you on the, oh no, and you're behind, uh, with I think

00:15:53.380 only eight, uh, on the swing or something like that or on a, anyway, could you tell us

00:15:59.600 a little bit about what you experienced that day?

00:16:02.900 The day of the raid.

00:16:04.080 Um, yeah, I, it was absolute sheer terror and, uh, surreal.

00:16:13.460 It was, uh, so unbelievable that I could not, I, I, I didn't, I didn't know if I was dreaming.

00:16:24.920 It was early in the morning, seven o'clock.

00:16:27.800 Uh, we were, you know, getting about our day and, um, it's just not something that I ever

00:16:34.300 expected.

00:16:34.840 I couldn't imagine what in the world we could have done, what could he have done that would 0.95

00:16:41.240 have warranted that type of incredible ridiculousness.

00:16:48.580 And, um, and it was terrifying, um, shaking.

00:16:53.980 Um, uh, it, it was just the most surreal thing that I've ever experienced.

00:17:00.640 After Paul was taken and then you were left with the kids, what happens at that point?

00:17:07.480 I, uh, was in my pajamas barefoot at the end of our driveway after they drove off and

00:17:15.560 I'm, am I dreaming?

00:17:18.360 What is going on here?

00:17:19.440 What do I do?

00:17:20.160 And I ran back to the house and, uh, found my kids in various, um, levels of crying and

00:17:29.160 terror and, um, just everybody was very shaken.

00:17:34.400 And I, I just, you know, pulled them together and was like, daddy's going to be okay.

00:17:39.600 I don't know what happened, but that was absolutely evil.

00:17:43.180 And, um, at that point I had no idea it was pro-life related.

00:17:46.300 I didn't know if those were legit FBI agents.

00:17:50.180 I had no idea if this was some kind of cartel that had kidnapped him for ransom.

00:17:56.300 Ransom, I mean, I, I couldn't, there was nothing that I could pull from to explain what just

00:18:02.520 happened.

00:18:03.800 And, um, so we prayed and I called my oldest son and called a lawyer friend and they came

00:18:11.640 over and we just kind of formulated a, okay, let's just start calling FBI offices and couldn't

00:18:18.040 find any information.

00:18:19.080 And so for hours, like I had no idea if he was in the state, I had no idea.

00:18:24.480 I like, do I get in the car and try to follow them?

00:18:27.860 I, there were, it's just, it was just unbelievable.

00:18:31.460 So eventually I did get a call and, um, found out that he was in the state of Tennessee and

00:18:38.480 found out what he was charged with.

00:18:40.280 Paul has, uh, been describing to us, um, you know, the, the after effect of the prayer

00:18:49.660 and recognizing God's hand in it all.

00:18:51.500 And, uh, that's an incredible thing to go from that kind of horror and terror and, and,

00:18:56.900 and, and just absolute mayhem to recognizing God's own hand in allowing for something that

00:19:04.920 has, while it was so shocking to you, it, it, and it transformed your lives in a way too.

00:19:10.560 I mean, you're already on a holy path, you're homeschooling your kids.

00:19:15.100 You've got 11 kids for crying out loud.

00:19:17.400 And, uh, but God chooses a new thing for you that actually it electrifies the whole movement

00:19:24.240 for life in America and around the world.

00:19:26.620 And Paul, along with Mark Houck are the two biggest names as when the pro-life movement looks

00:19:33.140 to point to what's, what's really wrong with the administration that went after pro-lifers.

00:19:41.100 It's your stories.

00:19:42.920 It's, it's particularly the suffering of your children, because while adults can see, oh,

00:19:48.080 adults got arrested.

00:19:48.940 Yeah, you know what?

00:19:49.940 And his wife was there.

00:19:51.040 And when the children are involved, those stories are what resonate.

00:19:57.100 That's why they come back to your stories.

00:20:00.900 Even though there's a resties who got hurt a lot, beat up some of them, and in prison

00:20:08.440 got treated horrifically, they come back to yours because the suffering of the family

00:20:12.860 is so, it still reaches the hearts that are cold and hardened.

00:20:18.340 So the suffering of your family has been a real, it's been used by the Lord.

00:20:24.760 You've been united in his suffering.

00:20:26.180 And that bears fruit.

00:20:28.880 It's beautiful.

00:20:58.380 Thank you for your support.

00:21:00.000 And may God bless you.

00:21:01.500 Pascal, first of all, you're a young man.

00:21:03.660 Do you remember any of this happening?

00:21:06.380 I do.

00:21:07.260 You do?

00:21:07.980 I think before it happened, I had a few of it.

00:21:12.100 And then when it happened, I looked outside.

00:21:15.620 Then, like, I took a peek and went back.

00:21:19.140 Then I was like, I guess I can do this.

00:21:21.160 Like, I remember my soul was out in that room.

00:21:25.500 So the three that were held with the armed agent in the side yard, their window overlooks

00:21:32.700 that side of the house.

00:21:33.720 So when he pulled out, when he looked out, he was saying he had a deja vu.

00:21:36.940 It was Providence and Mercy and our older daughter, Eva, that were in the side yard

00:21:42.940 that he saw, you know, being detained or whatever.

00:21:47.080 Yeah, unbelievable.

00:21:48.320 So you were actually in the yard and detained.

00:21:51.940 So, okay, so when this happened and they came up to it, like, what did you experience?

00:21:57.160 Tell us what happened to you.

00:21:59.180 Well, it was early morning.

00:22:01.780 Us three were heading out to the car to get to drive us to school.

00:22:05.660 We had our backpacks, and my two older sister, my two sisters walked out first. 0.55

00:22:11.400 I walked out, like, five seconds behind.

00:22:13.760 And there's the agent in the side yard, saw us in, pulled us to stop, and then pulled

00:22:18.640 us to move to the side next to one of the cars.

00:22:22.460 And then he held us there and told us about it.

00:22:24.760 Is he holding a gun when he's telling you this?

00:22:26.760 Yes, sir.

00:22:27.660 So we are.

00:22:30.040 Oh, my gosh.

00:22:30.840 For us who are not so, at AR, describe that for us.

00:22:36.080 Well, a tactical rifle, usually used for standard military guns.

00:22:43.200 Yeah.

00:22:43.620 So this is a military rifle, like an automatic weapon.

00:22:48.220 He's not pointing it at you, is he?

00:22:50.140 No, it's a pistol hit, but ready.

00:22:52.960 Yeah.

00:22:53.260 Ready for whatever.

00:22:55.340 Yeah.

00:22:55.600 What's going through your head when this happened?

00:22:59.680 Absolutely.

00:23:00.420 I was confused, first, why they were there, and then second, why was he holding us?

00:23:07.100 I was confused why they were split up, and then why they had, I'd see two cars, and then

00:23:13.040 I'd hear them, the rest of the agents at the front door.

00:23:16.360 And the first thing that I was thinking of was, they had the wrong house.

00:23:22.180 That was my first thought, because they were looking for someone else.

00:23:26.360 And then, yeah.

00:23:27.380 Yeah.

00:23:28.520 Unbelievable.

00:23:29.320 As this played out, and you watched your dad come out, then bang on the door, what then?

00:23:35.100 I was very, still very shocked and confused, and then they looked him up, and then left

00:23:40.480 the ring, and we went back inside.

00:23:42.320 Yeah.

00:23:43.900 Yeah.

00:23:44.300 Yeah.

00:23:44.360 Seeing this play out after, as it has, what's been your thought of your dad?

00:23:58.860 He's been great.

00:24:01.880 Been a great learning opportunity, something we've never would have experienced, been able

00:24:09.320 to learn, suffer from otherwise.

00:24:11.140 It's an amazing thing when you're able to suffer for our Lord, and to have it play out

00:24:21.120 and witness your own dad going through that faithfully, and never turning from our Lord,

00:24:27.900 and always being willing to do it.

00:24:30.040 Absolutely beautiful.

00:24:32.120 Well, thank you.

00:24:33.380 Thank you so very much.

00:24:34.540 And thank you guys for being willing to come on and say a few words.

00:24:38.240 That's awesome.

00:24:39.660 Paul, I just want to end off with you.

00:24:43.000 Just final thoughts on what your thought is for the future, future of America, future

00:24:50.160 of the pro-life movement in America.

00:24:51.260 Christ told us, it's finished, therefore go.

00:24:55.300 And so if there's problems in the world, and we're seeing them, then clearly the responsibility

00:25:01.320 is on us as his people.

00:25:03.220 He didn't give, you know, the keys to the kingdom, to the civil government, or to others.

00:25:10.080 He gave them to his church.

00:25:11.260 And so I think that's the groundwork and the foundation, and then we have to be able

00:25:17.420 to rightly discern where that battlefront is, and not be short-sighted, but see a broader

00:25:24.960 eternal picture of it.

00:25:26.720 And through the trial, you know, John, what we've seen from the federal prosecutors, to

00:25:32.620 the FBI agents, to the jury panel, to everyone involved, there's a dearth of character.

00:25:41.920 Right?

00:25:42.240 We are all, and we admit it blatantly, even people talking about, oh, I just vote my pocket

00:25:47.580 book.

00:25:48.260 What does it say?

00:25:48.980 Are you ordering your life after the Holy Spirit and the fruits of God's Spirit in you,

00:25:52.920 and making decisions based on that?

00:25:54.820 Or are you following Moloch or Mammon and greed?

00:25:58.140 So if you're voting your pocket book, what you're saying is, you're all about Mammon, not

00:26:03.280 the Holy Spirit of God.

00:26:04.620 And I think we see that across the board.

00:26:06.740 We don't even teach virtues in our education system as a foundation for our culture and

00:26:11.300 society.

00:26:12.500 And so until we can, as a church and as a pro-life movement even, understand that and

00:26:18.820 begin to invest at the foundational level in the souls of young people coming up in our

00:26:25.280 culture, I don't think we're going to have a government that's going to reflect anything

00:26:28.480 else other than what we actually are.

00:26:30.080 And I think that's the hard assessment.

00:26:33.480 Now, the glory is that God's given us four years, potentially, of President Trump, who

00:26:38.640 seems to be on board and trying to do right things.

00:26:41.820 Motives aside, God knows.

00:26:43.760 But there's an opportunity here for the church to step in and begin doing what she should

00:26:48.180 do and what she's supposed to have been doing.

00:26:50.060 And Lord willing, we do that.

00:26:51.760 We take advantage of this.

00:26:52.840 And if not, God has a plan and He's always, His church is here.

00:26:57.700 And it really comes back to, will it be persecution and martyrdom that's on the horizon for us

00:27:03.940 to tell the story and for us to really testify with our lives what the truth is?

00:27:09.520 Or are we willing to make smaller sacrifices now because of that truth and potentially impact

00:27:14.120 the culture, bring more into the kingdom and see righteousness exalting a nation?

00:27:19.280 Everything works to good.

00:27:20.540 So even the horror of what happened to you and potentially what could happen now in the

00:27:27.960 United States and the rest of the world, who knows, it'll work for the good for those

00:27:31.940 who love Him anyway, even as it works for the horror for everybody else, because we're

00:27:37.240 in Him, live Him, with Him, through Him and in Him.

00:27:40.660 God bless you guys.

00:27:41.560 Thank you again so very much on behalf of the movement, on behalf of Christians in America.

00:27:46.580 Thank you, because I know that was very hard on you and the suffering you experienced for

00:27:51.260 your kids, of your kids.

00:27:53.760 Just thank you.

00:27:56.000 Our little thank you is nothing, but thank you is really up there.

00:27:59.000 God bless you guys.
