00:14:05.660 taken to human rights commissions over their stances in defense of traditional catholic teaching

00:14:23.980 exempt a canadian catholic bishop was threatened with denial of catholic school funding if he did

00:14:39.740 other bishops not only in north america but all over europe have succumbed or given involuntarily to

00:15:15.580 two provinces in canada have proposed that even homeschooling parents are not permitted to teach

00:15:21.580 against homosexual sex in quebec that legislation was passed and in alberta it was proposed and then

00:15:30.140 fought and defeated in germany however most of you know that homeschooling is already illegal and has been since nazi

00:15:39.500 times but there if you look into the cases what do you find you find parents who want to protect their

00:15:45.180 children from indoctrination into this new religion uh being the ones having not only their children taken from them

00:15:55.740 but also them put or sometimes put into jail as well as threatened with jail

00:19:54.380 to sign off on marriage licenses for homosexual couples because she said that's against the

00:20:00.620 scriptures that's against my belief in jesus christ she's a very simple woman but she said she couldn't 0.69

00:20:06.700 do it they told her she has to resign well she refused to resign she's an elected official so they jailed her

00:20:14.860 she's a mom she's got kids and a husband and they jailed her so pope francis came shortly thereafter 0.51

00:20:36.620 hoping for particularly because he was going to congress on a day that they were going to vote for

00:20:43.180 legislation on abortion funding and there was no mention but we learned afterward that the pope had

00:20:53.100 actually met with kim davis and thanked her for her courage and told her to keep going to stay strong

00:21:56.940 so the media went to ask it went to ask for good reason you see every time someone meets with the holy

00:22:04.780 father there's photos you guys have all been here for a long time you know that if you shake hands with

00:22:10.940 the holy father his press corps right there taking photos and you go buy them over there that happens

00:22:17.020 regularly except this time the photographers didn't release the photos that was a purposeful decision

00:22:27.900 not to release the photos and then this weird statement of not willing to confirm nor deny the meeting

00:22:34.780 and no more will be given so of course what happened was the media in america loves this stuff they've

00:22:39.900 been persecuting kim davis now for months on end they've jailed her already 1.00

00:23:53.740 father lombardi said and i'll quote that he actually implied it directly that it wasn't a real audience

00:26:25.100 encourage her also actually on the plane ride home commended religious freedom

00:30:19.420 marriott signed a public letter to the governor of north carolina urging him to repeal the state's new

00:30:25.580 law protecting religious freedom that's the law i just added protecting religious freedom so that's

00:30:30.860 um lionsgate studio which is a major film studio uh is moving production of a new sitcom out of the

00:30:39.020 state deutsche bank cancelled plans to create new jobs there paypal has cancelled plans for a global

00:30:48.620 operations center there in mississippi general electric pepsi dow and others attacked the law there

00:30:55.900 as bad for our employees and bad for business disney said that it would stop making movies in georgia

00:31:04.700 which has become a major venue for film production if the governor signed the bill something similar

00:31:10.700 happened last year in indiana after the state passed a religious freedom law allowing businesses to

00:31:16.380 discriminate against lgbt customers and employees at least a dozen businesses business conventions relocated

00:31:25.900 and then listen to the same paper describing the effect a little corporate muscle flexing can work

00:31:35.900 wonders it turns out last month georgia's governor vetoed its religious freedom bill implicitly acknowledging

00:31:44.140 that the state could not afford to lose disney's business and south dakota's governor citing

00:31:50.700 opposition from city group and wells fargo voted a law that would have required people to use the

00:31:56.540 bathrooms that corresponded to their biological sex vetoed a law that would have required people to use

00:32:09.420 religious freedom bills after a corporate backlash led in arkansas by walmart

00:32:14.620 these are the biggest corporations in the united states and they are playing the same economic blackmail

00:32:38.460 persecutions we've also seen that it's begun to take an effect toward at certain individuals
