The John-Henry Westen Show - Pope Francis' smallest wording error can undermine the conversion of Russia and usher in nuclear war

00:00:00.000 Just this Sunday, Pope Francis made an announcement at the Angelus that has all sorts of people worried about the consecration of Russia, which is to happen on March 25th.

00:00:10.380 He talked about consecrating humanity, and that brings all sorts of questions, particularly because popes have tried for the last hundred years to get this right, to no avail.

00:00:21.340 We're going to be speaking today on the John Henry Weston Show with one of the foremost Fatima experts in the world.

00:00:26.820 He's written a book about how seven popes failed to do what they need to do over the past hundred years or so.

00:00:34.380 You're going to want to stay tuned for this conversation with John Selza.

00:00:37.960 John, welcome to the program.

00:00:58.100 Well, thank you, John Henry. Great to be with you.

00:01:00.880 Let's begin, as we always do, with the sign of the cross.

00:01:02.780 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

00:01:09.900 John, I couldn't think of a better person to speak with, particularly in light of what's just happened, given your books.

00:01:16.500 I'm going to read out the titles here, and we'll flash them up on the screen.

00:01:19.700 The first of your books on Fatima, by the way, among your many other books, this is just the Fatima books.

00:01:24.720 The Consecration of Russia, How Seven Popes Failed to Heed Heaven's Command and Brought Turmoil to the Church and the World. 0.96

00:01:34.020 That was in 2013.

00:01:35.520 Your latest book on the subject, A Catechism on Fatima and the Related Crisis in the Church from 2015,

00:01:41.980 actually got kudos from the great Cardinal Burke.

00:01:45.060 Congratulations on that, and it's great that you're on our show today.

00:01:48.480 It was wonderful. Cardinal Burke and I have a connection, since he was in the neighboring diocese here in Wisconsin.

00:01:55.760 But I've gotten to know him, and he's just a wonderful person, in addition to being such a great Cardinal.

00:02:02.200 So let's get into this. I wanted to give you the wording from the Pope's Angelus on Sunday

00:02:08.260 that has so many people concerned, and perhaps rightfully so, about what this all means.

00:02:13.960 I'm going to read it to you now. This is from the Pope's Angelus on Sunday.

00:02:17.000 He said, and I quote,

00:02:19.620 I invite every community and all the faithful to unite with me on Friday, 25th of March,

00:02:24.920 the Solemnity of the Annunciation, for the solemn act of consecration of humanity,

00:02:31.360 especially Russia and Ukraine, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary,

00:02:35.280 so that she, the Queen of Peace, may help us obtain peace.

00:02:39.940 End quote.

00:02:40.480 So, first of all, John, if you wouldn't mind starting with the issue of wording,

00:02:48.360 is it really all that important? And maybe you can start with us there.

00:02:53.740 Well, it certainly is. I mean, the act of consecration means identifying something specifically

00:03:00.080 to set it aside for a sacred use.

00:03:03.220 And what it is intended to do is to bring something from its profane state into a state where it can be used

00:03:09.940 sacredly. And because, John Henry, Our Lady said that Russia, God is permitting Russia to be the instrument 0.99

00:03:18.180 of chastisement for the world. This is why Russia has to be singularly identified as the object of the consecration. 0.97

00:03:27.120 You see, to say that we're consecrating humanity with Russia and other countries, it convolutes the formula.

00:03:35.640 Our Lady's words were so very simple, and we know how God acts, because this is ultimately coming from God himself.

00:03:42.280 We must follow his commandments to a T. Look at the sacraments, for example. Now, a consecration is lesser

00:03:48.520 than the sacraments, but would follow, you know, the same blueprint. Use the words that Our Lady gave,

00:03:54.300 which are very simple. I consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. 0.64

00:03:59.180 And, I mean, historically, we've actually just seen in the last year, numerous instances around the world

00:04:08.340 of parishes having to redo baptism, sometimes going back decades, because priests or ministers of

00:04:16.320 baptism, deacons or whatever, have failed to use the proper wording. I baptize you in the name of the

00:04:22.380 Father, Son, and perhaps the sanctifier or something like that. Very slight wording differences, but

00:04:28.540 actually invalidated baptisms. Is that something similar that you're speaking of?

00:04:33.640 Indeed. I mean, we had a recent case where the priest was using the formula,

00:04:38.960 we baptize you in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Church said no.

00:04:43.440 And that's because Christ instituted the formula for baptism. Well, God has given the formula

00:04:48.720 effectively for the consecration of Russia through Our Lady, that it must be the words consecration,

00:04:54.640 not entrustment or any other thing like that. Russia has to be the object of the consecration, 0.75

00:05:00.440 and that it must be to the immaculate heart of Mary. Our Lord wants Our Lady glorified in this regard,

00:05:07.360 and her immaculate conception, in particular, to be glorified and known throughout the world.

00:05:13.380 So the words are critical here. And it seems to me, John Henry, if we have one shot at this now,

00:05:19.140 we've got to get it right.

00:05:20.740 Okay. So the absolute severity here is quite a bit because, as you've mentioned already,

00:05:28.760 Russia was prophesied to be the instrument of chastisement for the world. Also, if it's done, 0.89

00:05:34.000 and we know from Our Lady it will be done, and from Our Lord, actually, it will be done. It will be

00:05:38.520 done late. And then Russia will convert, and then there will be an era of peace given to the world. 0.65

00:05:45.740 Beautiful promises, especially right now, where we can see the need up front with the war in Ukraine

00:05:53.180 and Russia. Really, there's a fomenting world war coming. Even the president of Ukraine having 0.96

00:06:00.080 mentioned that just recently about the reality of World War III, the reality of nuclear war.

00:06:05.980 So huge things on the table for all of humanity. Your expertise in this is rather very poignant,

00:06:13.960 especially at this time. If you can go through what, in a nutshell, what one of your books did

00:06:19.400 about the seven popes who failed to do what they did and the resulting horror for the world.

00:06:25.120 And it comes down to language, either omitting to do the consecration altogether or doing the

00:06:31.500 consecration but not using the proper words of Our Lady. We know, John Henry, that as early as 1930,

00:06:38.760 Pius XI was informed by Lucia and her confessor, Father Goncalves, about the consecration. There's a

00:06:46.540 record that states about September of 1930, he was made aware of it. Now, we remember Our Lady came

00:06:52.360 to fulfill her promise to request the consecration in 1929. The Holy Father was made aware of this the

00:06:58.440 following year. And then Jesus appeared to Lucia and Rianjo Spain saying, make it known to my ministers

00:07:04.420 that if they continue delaying the execution of my request, they will follow like the King of France

00:07:09.840 into the same misfortune. So already, our Lord, two years running, intervened and said, we're not,

00:07:16.060 heaven is not happy with this. Pius XI presumably had a responsibility to do it based upon Our Lord's

00:07:23.420 appearance to Lucia in 1931. That brings us then to Pius XII. And to summarize, there's more we can say,

00:07:31.900 but to summarize, he did a consecration to the world without the bishops in 1942. And then he did a

00:07:39.660 consecration to the peoples of Russia in 1952. He's the only pope to date that has actually mentioned

00:07:47.820 Russia in a consecration. Now, after the 42 consecration of the world, which did not mention

00:07:54.400 Russia and did not have the participation of the world's bishops, Lucia went on record in 1943

00:08:00.460 saying that the consecration was, quote, incomplete. And again, in 1951, she said it had not been done.

00:08:09.100 And so when Pius XII mentions Russia, he does so, but without the participation of the bishops,

00:08:15.440 it was not a solemn and public ceremony or an act of consecration and reparation. He did it in an

00:08:21.680 apostolic letter called Sacro Vergente Anno. Lucia followed that and said that was insufficient. We know

00:08:28.400 from her famous interview with Father Fuentes in 1957, she stated that no one has paid any attention

00:08:35.520 to Our Lady's message, telling us that even the explicit mention of Russia without the participation

00:08:41.880 of the bishops of the world and without a public and solemn ceremony of reparation and consecration

00:08:47.860 did not suffice. And so we then come to John XXIII. Unfortunately, he did not. He was preoccupied with

00:08:55.680 other things, namely calling the council. He also had the obligation to reveal the secret

00:09:02.000 of Fatima in 60. We're all aware of that. It's a separate issue.

00:09:06.400 And then we get to Paul VI. Again, Paul VI, unfortunately, went just so far, but not far

00:09:12.960 enough. He consecrated the world again without the bishops in 1964. And when Lucia's memoirs were

00:09:20.560 published in 67, she reiterated that no consecration, including Paul VI or Pius XII, had sufficed. In fact,

00:09:29.120 Paul VI famously lamented the smoke of Satan had entered the church in 72. So here we are. We're in

00:09:35.760 chaos. Things are getting worse. We can excuse perhaps John Paul I for not doing anything. And in fact, if you

00:09:42.320 read my book, he had a profound interview meeting with Sister Lucia and it appeared that he was actually

00:09:48.720 going to do it. One might speculate that his end was a result of that intention. God knows.

00:09:56.560 But then we come to John Paul II, a very saintly pope. He loved Our Lady. He did multiple

00:10:02.640 consecrations. He did consecrations in 81, 82, 83, 84, 91, and 2000. And guess what? Never mentioned Russia.

00:10:12.720 Never mentioned Russia. In fact, he really didn't have the participation of the entire episcopacy,

00:10:17.920 which is required. And I go in my book, pope by pope, of what they actually did do, what they

00:10:25.040 didn't do, the recorded conversations and writings that Lucia said. I mean, she said after his 82

00:10:32.720 consecration in 83, it didn't suffice. She said the same thing in 84, 85, 87. I do believe John Henry

00:10:40.800 that John Paul II wanted to do the consecration. He wanted to ask Russia. He's on record of consulting

00:10:47.600 with his advisors and quite a few Vatican diplomats discouraged him from mentioning Russia in the

00:10:55.120 consecration. So unfortunately, the church remains in turmoil. The world remains in turmoil. I speculate

00:11:02.880 that any consecration is accepted by heaven and brings down some graces. And perhaps some believe

00:11:12.080 that maybe what John Paul II did, because he did it so many times, drew some graces down for the church.

00:11:17.680 Perhaps we avoided war and conflict then. The Soviet Union did fall. We think we saw some benefits, 0.97

00:11:24.640 but we did not see the conversion of Russia, and we did not see a period of peace for the world.

00:11:30.080 Benedict XVI, again, he consecrated Italy, but he didn't consecrate Russia.

00:11:36.320 Just a brief point on that. He did send an envoy to Russia in 2007, inquiring whether a consecration

00:11:45.440 of Russia would be offensive to them. And the report came back that evidently it would be.

00:11:50.720 So he dismissed all efforts in that regard. But I think Fatima weighed extremely heavily

00:11:56.960 on Pope Benedict. You know, we said he opened the dossier, if you will, on Fatima in 2010. When I was in

00:12:03.360 in Rome giving a conference on this very topic, a day or two later, he connected the Third Secret with

00:12:10.560 sins of the clergy, sins within the church, which, well, that wasn't part of what was released in 2000.

00:12:17.040 So it's so mysterious. There's something else I don't think that people know, but I learned about it

00:12:23.680 because I have the Italian transcript. When the Vatican released the part of the Third Secret in 2000,

00:12:29.680 at the very end of that interview with Cardinal Ratzinger, where Father Gruner was actually named

00:12:35.920 and somebody asked him, what do you think about, you know, these crusades of Father Gruner? Cardinal

00:12:41.200 Ratzinger said that there is a reason why the magisterium chose not to do it. He was referring to the

00:12:50.800 consecration of the consecration of Russia as Our Lady requested. That is in the transcript and perhaps

00:12:57.840 you can even see it in the video. So all the evidence is there, you know, John Henry. It hasn't

00:13:04.560 been done precisely the way Our Lady has requested. And hence, we haven't seen the conversion of Russia 0.93

00:13:10.720 in a period of peace in the world. Yeah. And so it means for this Friday, there's a lot of praying

00:13:18.160 yet to do. A lot of praying and sacrificing on behalf of the people for the Pope. I know actually,

00:13:25.040 if I hope I'm not saying something out of turn, that you're involved with a number of cardinals to

00:13:30.160 try and encourage the proper wording to be used. I've submitted my suggestions and recommendations,

00:13:37.680 you know, humbly for their review. I can tell you that those with whom I have been speaking and

00:13:43.920 corresponding, they do recognize the gravity of this. And they do recognize how precise we must be

00:13:51.360 with the language, which is comforting. The question is, is this going to make it all the way to his

00:13:57.680 holiness? This is why prayer and penance and reparation, I think, now are so important. The

00:14:03.440 devil is going to do everything he can to thwart this. Just modifying the formula, just discouraging

00:14:09.200 bishops from participating. You know, this is really in the hands of the Holy Father,

00:14:14.240 but it's going to take us, the faithful, to draw those graces he needs to take this to the finish

00:14:19.600 line. Absolutely. And the stakes couldn't be higher. One of the things that is in both the second,

00:14:29.440 as I call it, the second secret of Fatima, and then in the interview with Father Fuentes in an even more

00:14:34.720 strident form, is that various nations will be annihilated, as the second secret said. And then

00:14:41.440 when speaking with Father Fuentes, Sister Lucy revealed that Our Lady said, both to Jacinta,

00:14:50.240 Francisco, her cousins, and to herself, that many nations would be annihilated. And so the consequences

00:14:58.400 for getting this wrong and delaying are dire indeed, as dire as it can be. And then you mentioned

00:15:05.120 briefly, but I'd like to just elaborate that a little bit more, about the King of France in 100

00:15:10.800 years. So if you can get into that a little bit, explain the significance of that as it relates to

00:15:16.000 this time we're in right now. Sure. In 1689, Jesus commanded that the King of France at the time

00:15:22.560 consecrate his nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Very simple. Please consecrate the nation 0.54

00:15:28.640 to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. And we recall the apparition at Rianjo when he mentioned to Lucia,

00:15:35.520 if the ministers delay the execution of my request, they're going to follow the same type of misfortune.

00:15:41.600 And the misfortune that our Lord was referring to was the grandson of the King. So we have three

00:15:48.160 generations, which brings us to a hundred years from the moment that the request was first issued by

00:15:54.160 our Lord in 1689. And going from memory brings us to 1789. And John Henry, you and I spoke off the

00:16:01.440 record about this, but it was 100 years to the day where, because the King of France did not execute

00:16:09.280 the request, he was formally deposed by the Masonic revolutionaries. He was later executed at the

00:16:15.360 guillotine. He didn't die that day, but he was deposed and lost all authority and ultimately met

00:16:22.240 his end by the enemies of, of the country. Right. And so I've always thought that God is communicating

00:16:31.440 to us, you know, with, with numbers and dates. And if our lady came to fulfill her request for the

00:16:38.400 consecration in 1929, wouldn't it make sense that we would have until 2029, if our Lord is drawing this

00:16:45.920 parallel between the King of France and the consecration of the Sacred Heart and the Holy

00:16:50.400 Father and the consecration of the Immaculate Heart, it would make sense. And so here we are 2022,

00:16:56.640 seven years from that date. But because Russia is already in the act of chastising Ukraine and perhaps

00:17:05.920 the entire world, even threatening nuclear devastation to the West, we might not have any more time to

00:17:13.440 wait. It's playing out before our very eyes. Yeah. Yeah. So the severity, the seriousness, the need for our

00:17:21.680 massive intercessory prayer, reparation, fasting, and so on is, is as severe as it could be.

00:17:28.000 Um, a couple of things that I also wanted to touch were, um, the significance, as you mentioned, uh, of

00:17:37.280 March 25th, uh, besides it's the Annunciation as, as the Holy Father mentioned in his message, even on

00:17:43.360 the angels, but what's the significance of March 25th to all this? It's, it's incredible. I mean, it kind

00:17:49.680 of sends chills on my spine that there could be no greater day to do this consecration. Um, March 25th,

00:17:56.640 as you mentioned is, is the day that our Lord became incarnate in the womb of the blessed mother,

00:18:02.480 which, you know, St. Paul calls him the second Adam, but mystics, including Mary of Agrita say

00:18:08.080 that the first Adam was also created on March 25th. It isn't, isn't that incredible. We also know or

00:18:16.800 believe any way that our Lord died on Friday, March 25th. Okay. So we have the creation of the first Adam,

00:18:24.560 the creation of the second Adam, the redemption by the second Adam. You know, this is proven, 0.57

00:18:30.960 if you will, by the fact that the thorn from one of the crowns of our Lord, which is in, uh, in a,

00:18:36.000 in a church in Southern Italy, your Pano, I think a bleeds every time good Friday falls on, on March 25th.

00:18:43.640 And so, you know, here now we have a date that could possibly be the triumph of the immaculate heart

00:18:49.920 of Mary who conceived our Lord in the room and, and the restoration of the Catholic church,

00:18:55.440 if you will, the birth of Adam, the birth of Christ, the rebirth of the mystical body of Christ.

00:19:01.240 It is incredible what is before us. And God couldn't orchestrate this in any other way.

00:19:08.240 Absolutely beautiful. The other thing that I think is, is most pertinent to what we're experiencing

00:19:14.220 right now is the third secret of Fatima. And this is somewhat controversial as, as controversial

00:19:22.060 as it is to speak of the consecration, not yet being fulfilled exactly as our lady desired,

00:19:27.980 but I think we're beyond it on that question. But with regard to the secret, we're definitely not.

00:19:35.360 And you had an experience in, in 2010, I'd like you to get into, because I think it was totally

00:19:40.320 fascinating. Uh, you spoke with or challenged, or everybody should remember you're, you're a lawyer

00:19:45.460 have been so for 25 years and you had a specific challenge with regard to the co-author of the 2000

00:19:54.020 document, which sort of said, it's all done. It's all wonderful. Everything's finished. We don't have

00:19:59.340 to worry about Fatima anymore. If you can get into that, please. My specific challenge was to Giuseppe

00:20:04.620 Decarli, who was the co-author, uh, for Cardinal Bertone and the spokesperson really for Cardinal

00:20:10.780 Bertone on the question of Fatima. And this has been recorded and also memorialized, but my, my question

00:20:17.860 to him, uh, related to his use of the plural, uh, when he referred to the Fatima secret, uh, being printed

00:20:27.640 by Lucia on sheets of paper in Italian folie. And I kept pressing him about that. Why are you referring

00:20:36.480 to multiple sheets? If the Vatican's position in 2000 was that it was only written on one sheet. Okay.

00:20:44.300 And he then said basically, well, I was only referring to one sheet. It was folded, but that didn't make any

00:20:52.420 sense. But what Decarli says in that confrontation, after I kept pressing him, because I said, sir,

00:20:58.880 with all due respect, you have repeatedly stated sheets, sheets, sheets throughout your interviews.

00:21:04.040 And even throughout today, he said, I'm a human being. Can't I make mistakes? And he finally said,

00:21:10.520 you know what, after father Gruner and Chris Farrar and I continue to press him, he finally said,

00:21:15.340 maybe they tricked me. Incredible. He said, maybe they tricked me. Um, it was astounding that the

00:21:25.800 Vatican spokesman really wasn't clear about the third secret and the fact that it was written on

00:21:32.140 multiple sheets. I don't know why he wouldn't have been because Cardinal Bertone showed in his 2000

00:21:37.420 interview on Porta Porta, he showed two separate envelopes with two separate texts and two separate

00:21:43.600 orders of our lady written by Lucida on each envelope. So it surprised us, I guess, how little

00:21:49.480 in the know he was, but I do say that he, he seemed to be a man of integrity and goodwill. He embraced

00:21:56.300 us at the end of it. And you know what? God took him, um, that July, uh, 13th on the cell on, on the

00:22:03.340 anniversary of Fatima, God, God took him. So it just was astounding and devastating. And all this adds

00:22:09.000 John Henry to the mystery of the third secret. It does. It does. Because, you know, it's funny.

00:22:15.580 If you look at the secrets, you get the vision of hell and the kids see it and they describe it.

00:22:21.920 The second secret is more like an explanation of the vision, which is what it is. You've seen hell

00:22:28.020 where the souls of poor sinners go, et cetera, et cetera, about Russia and so on. So then we have

00:22:34.600 the so-called third secret. And I believe it was revealed in 2000, except it's only the vision

00:22:44.860 part. Unlike with the first one where you get the vision part described, and then the second being

00:22:51.140 an explanatory note, the third apparently is only the vision with no explanation. When arguably it's

00:22:58.140 even much more confusing than the first vision and yet no explanation. Give me your thoughts about

00:23:04.140 that if you would. Well, it defies logic that our blessed mother would not explain such a vision

00:23:10.300 to the children. I mean, it was terrifying enough. Now, if she had to explain what hell was, and I

00:23:16.260 think they knew what they were looking at, and she still went to an in-depth explanation of what hell

00:23:21.180 was, wouldn't it follow that she would explain this terrifying vision, which even us as adults don't

00:23:26.840 understand what it is, of course. And the greater evidence of that is not just logic, but it's looking

00:23:33.380 at Sister Lucia's diary, right, which they came out later in the 40s. She said the third secret

00:23:39.380 begins with, in Portugal, the dogma of the faith will always be preserved, et cetera. She said the

00:23:45.040 et cetera was a placeholder for Our Lady's words that she did not have permission at the time to reveal,

00:23:50.880 but then wrote them down subsequent to that. So that was never addressed by the Vatican in the 2000

00:23:57.720 release or the 2000 press conference of what are the words that follow the et cetera clause, because

00:24:03.080 Our Lady did not say et cetera. Our Lady gave an explanation of the vision. There are more facts

00:24:09.540 surrounding that on a piece of paper, you know, written on so many lines in a held in a separate

00:24:15.080 envelope, held in a separate repository within the Vatican, et cetera. There's so much evidence leading

00:24:20.360 to the conclusion, a definitive conclusion that there is another text that has not yet been revealed.

00:24:27.000 Yeah. Truly, truly fascinating things. When we read later diary entries and things like this,

00:24:34.040 we see very many different things that don't look like that you've yet been accounted for.

00:24:41.060 The annihilation of nations that we've already spoken of. In one revelation, Jacinta asks Lucy,

00:24:49.380 or Lucia, if she's able to reveal the seeing of a crowd of people crying in fields and in long lives

00:24:58.020 starving. And Lucy says, no, that's part of the secret. You can't reveal it. And so all these

00:25:06.000 questions, what do you make of the, I don't want to say probability or chance that we might still see

00:25:15.380 some of these horrific things when there's only a few days separating us from the consecration?

00:25:21.740 It's a very difficult and anxious question. I have a lot of anxiety this week because I know

00:25:28.280 how the evil forces have prevented this thus far. We're going back to 1929 when our Lord and Our Lady

00:25:34.920 asked for this to be done. And here we are in 2022. Yes, I do. God has revealed these chastisements,

00:25:42.480 John Henry, obviously, because he wants us to avoid them. And he also wants us to know what we avoided

00:25:50.480 by following his will, right? If this consecration is not done correctly this Friday, I fear that we

00:26:01.480 are closer to those chastisements only because of the geopolitical situation in the world right now

00:26:08.240 and what's being threatened. We don't know. We don't know if that's going to happen or if we have

00:26:12.820 another shot at it. But we've never been closer to, like I said, either the annihilation of nations and

00:26:18.560 the destruction of the West or the conversion of Russia in a period of peace. We've never been closer 0.90

00:26:23.860 than we are now, not just based on chronology, but based on the facts and the events that are unfolding

00:26:29.700 right now in the world. Yeah. One of the other matters that I just wanted to touch on is there

00:26:36.860 has been consternation over and above all of what we've already discussed, but about Pope Francis

00:26:41.720 himself. He has shown himself over the last eight years to be truly unfaithful on a lot of things,

00:26:49.400 a lot of the teachings of the church that people even doubted could ever happen out of a Pope's mouth.

00:26:54.820 Out they come over and over and over again on so many issues that if anyone's followed

00:27:00.080 on LifeSite, they know all about. How is it, the question is asked, that a Pope has been so unfaithful

00:27:09.460 can yet make a valid consecration? Well, it is not the sanctity or orthodoxy of the Pope

00:27:16.820 that has merited the conversion of Russia. It is the merits of Our Lady. People have to understand

00:27:23.080 that. Our Lady has merited the conversion of Russia. God is pleased with Our Lady and her merits.

00:27:31.000 This is why God is going to convert Russia. It's all due to Our Lady. Our Holy Father, Pope Francis,

00:27:37.980 he's an instrument of it. He's an empty vessel. He's an instrument. His orthodoxy and sanctity

00:27:43.580 are irrelevant, just as they are irrelevant when he confects the sacraments.

00:27:48.080 And so people have to understand, this is about the Blessed Virgin Mary and her triumph and her merits,

00:27:55.800 and it has nothing to do with the merits of the Pope.

00:27:59.680 So, unbelievable times. We're all praying, and especially I think people like you who are so attuned

00:28:09.000 to the gravity of this, the severity of this. Any closing words for us as we approach this really

00:28:17.740 historic day? And yeah, what are your final thoughts?

00:28:23.520 Our hearts and minds and prayers have to be with Pope Francis, okay? There's unfortunately,

00:28:30.720 I think, a bitter spirit among Catholics. We've been rightly disappointed by some of the things that 1.00

00:28:36.820 his holiness has done, me included. I admit it. But I think now is the time to get rid of that spirit

00:28:43.520 and to be his greatest cheerleader, to pray, because he too has suffered. He too has suffered,

00:28:50.600 and he needs our prayers like never before. If we are truly Roman Catholics united to the Vicar of

00:28:55.840 Christ, then he needs all of our help. We're all in this together. Let's be his cheerleader

00:29:00.880 and not his critic. That's what I would say to the faithful.

00:29:06.580 Let us really hope, because this will bring the conversion of many, many hearts. And I'm sure

00:29:14.340 Bishop Schneider has been praying, encouraging the faithful to pray for the conversion of Pope Francis,

00:29:21.580 and of course, drawing attention to all of what he's done. But he's done so in a great spirit of love.

00:29:26.520 It's never an antagonistic spirit. It's always one of great love for Pope Francis. He's conversed with

00:29:33.020 him. He's worked with him. He's tried his best to explain things to him, especially over Pachamama

00:29:38.360 and things like this. And so let's unite our hearts in prayer for Pope Francis here, and pray that along

00:29:46.000 with this consecration of Russia, which is to bring the conversion of so many hearts, that we're all,

00:29:51.780 including Pope Francis, converted from any sin that we have, and give ourselves completely to

00:29:57.300 our Lord. Thank you so much, Sean, for being with us. Thank you, John Henry. My pleasure.

00:30:03.080 And God bless all of you. Keep up your prayers this week. We'll see you next time.

00:30:09.780 We have been warning everyone who would listen and attempting to build up alternative platforms

00:30:15.120 to continue to reach you. We have established ourselves on all sorts of platforms I'm going

00:30:20.980 to explain in a minute, but the most important thing to do is come direct to lifesitenews.com

00:30:26.520 because there we will always be. But we've also established ourselves on platforms like Parler

00:30:32.680 and MeWe, and our videos can be found on Rumble as well. We would love to see each of you on those

00:30:39.400 platforms too, as they are not censoring or suppressing the truth that we are sharing every single

00:30:45.020 day. More than these alternative social media platforms, we highly encourage you to subscribe

00:30:50.960 to our email newsletter. We have really built up a large list of loyal readers on our email

00:30:56.840 marketing platform, and we have prepared several backup plans for, well, I want to say if, but it's

00:31:03.780 really when, we are removed from our current platform as well. Additionally, I really encourage

00:31:10.320 you, as I said before, to make it a regular habit to go directly to lifesitenews.com. Make it your

00:31:17.020 homepage. While all of these different platforms are an excellent way to curate your news, going

00:31:23.220 directly to our website means that you will never encounter any censorship or sudden loss of LifeSite

00:31:29.380 News reporting. Here's the thing. We will never stop sharing the truth. We founded this organization

00:31:36.720 with the mission to be the life, family, and culture source for men and women who seek to know the

00:31:43.080 truth. We have established a track record of honest reports, and this will never stop, even with censorship

00:31:51.140 happening around the globe. Again, I'm encouraging you to join us on Parler, MeWe, Rumble, and on our email list.

00:31:59.260 You can find all the direct links in the description of this video. May God bless you and keep you,

00:32:06.260 and we are so thankful that you've chosen to follow and support LifeSite News. I'm John Henry Weston,

00:32:12.540 co-founder and editor-in-chief of LifeSite News.
