00:00:00.000 Pachamama requires sacrifices. The preferred sacrifice is a baby, human baby, sometimes also
00:00:09.000 grown up persons. You go into these halls of the minds and you find sometimes the skeletons
00:00:17.340 of people who have been thrown into these halls. Hey my friends, welcome to the John Henry Weston
00:00:24.520 show. You know, with Leo XIV going to Peru, November 11th, there's a lot bubbling to the
00:00:31.920 surface. For one, we had the Pachamama scandal. Yes, Leo did the Pachamama thing while he was
00:00:38.040 a priest in the Augustinians. They actually traveled over to Brazil and did that Pachamama
00:00:42.280 ceremony. And you could see him kneeling on the ground to Pachamama the way that we saw in the
00:00:47.960 Vatican Gardens later under Francis. But we thought, at least many people said, even when
00:00:53.180 that came out. Oh, that was one and done. Yeah, Francis did it. Leo just did it in 1995. There's
00:00:58.900 nothing more. And then we had that really uncomfortable thing here in the late spring
00:01:04.320 when we learned that what Vatican Radio called preparation for Leo's coming to Peru, they did
00:01:12.520 a Pachamama ceremony. And the Vatican person from the Dicastry of Doctrine of Faith actually
00:01:18.740 participated in that Pachamama ceremony. And we're trying to find out why. What is it with
00:01:27.600 Peru and the Pachamama? Are we going to see a Pachamama ceremony when Leo gets there in November?
00:01:34.640 Also, just this month, a book is released that details that Leo's new secretary, this young man
00:01:42.920 from Peru, actually is a disciple of that abuser priest who was so controversial. It's controversial
00:01:52.460 because the three victims who went to then Bishop Prevost to tell him they were abused,
00:02:01.220 this was the priest that abused them, and Leo is refusing to try the case. So I wanted to bring you
00:02:09.540 a priest from Peru who's very well known. He was a Monsignor in Peru. He was also actually
00:02:15.960 a Monsignor in the United States, acting for Bishop Sheridan at the time in Colorado Springs,
00:02:22.340 Colorado, as a major part of the diocese, also as the exorcist in the diocese, and he's a canon
00:02:29.460 lawyer. His name is Monsignor Coronado. Monsignor, welcome to the program. Thank you so much for
00:02:34.940 joining us once again and if you would start us off please as we always do with the side of the
00:02:39.360 cross in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit amen amen you're in peru
00:02:45.740 you've lived your life in peru and this pachamama thing i mean yes we saw it in the vatican but
00:02:52.560 what is the connection to it there because it seems to be uh while well i think many many
00:02:59.680 Catholics go, oh my gosh, it's like a false god. How is it so popular in Peru? It's not the first
00:03:06.260 time with Leo doing it in 95, and it's definitely, it was so regular that they would do it at a
00:03:12.900 ceremony to, you know, prepare for Leo coming there. This seems totally nuts. What's going on?
00:03:19.800 Let's go back to the 16th century when the first missionaries, holy missionaries, came to Peru.
00:03:26.060 You know, we have two missionaries that were canonized, actually.
00:03:31.340 One is an archbishop, the second archbishop of Lima, Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo.
00:03:36.980 There is another one who was a Franciscan.
00:03:39.400 He was his companion in his missions and adventures.
00:03:43.300 He would walk the territory of Peru, south and north, east and west,
00:03:51.000 on foot evangelization of the people, trying to evangelize them,
00:03:55.280 try to convert them.
00:03:57.460 So one of the most important things
00:03:59.620 that the Third Council of Lima,
00:04:02.740 16th century, fought against
00:04:05.180 was idolatry.
00:04:07.600 So idolatry had a lot of complications,
00:04:11.260 a lot of, I may say, ramifications.
00:04:14.980 For example, the Inca
00:04:16.720 was considered a divinity.
00:04:19.900 So very much like the emperor in Rome
00:04:22.300 was considered a divinity.
00:04:23.720 If you today go to Rome, you will see in the old ruins, divus nero, divus caligula, so divine nero, divine caligula, etc.
00:04:34.760 So here was similar.
00:04:36.900 That's why people not only pledge obedience to the Inca, but also religious obedience.
00:04:45.200 So it was very deep.
00:04:46.380 So when we speak today about separation of church and state,
00:04:50.760 that was absolutely unknown in these old primitive religions.
00:04:56.020 So Pachamama is the Mother Earth. 0.86
00:05:00.780 So we have to be very alert about how this trap works.
00:05:06.120 Because, you know, every other god in the Inca religion has an image.
00:05:16.060 It's very clear the sun had an image.
00:05:18.520 It's very clear how the image will be.
00:05:20.640 The thunder was another one.
00:05:22.600 The rain was another one.
00:05:24.400 The stars, the moon.
00:05:27.380 However, there was one that had no image.
00:05:31.100 It's Pachamama.
00:05:32.060 Because you can touch Pachamama.
00:05:34.460 Because you can live within the realm of this God.
00:05:40.320 So it never had, however, it never had an image.
00:05:45.080 However, Pachamama requires sacrifices. 0.90
00:05:48.700 For example, you know, if you want to have a good harvest, you will sacrifice a lama and offer the beating heart and the blood into the earth. 0.88
00:06:01.120 Today, including today, in some places, for example, you find a good mine. 0.96
00:06:09.800 So let's say you find some amount of gold in the mine.
00:06:15.340 What I believe, you need to offer this goddess a very good sacrifice so the body is not exhausted.
00:06:24.000 So the preferred sacrifice is a baby, human baby.
00:06:28.980 Sometimes also grown up persons.
00:06:33.800 You go into these holes of the mines and you find sometimes the skeletons of people who have been thrown up there just to die there.
00:06:43.900 or simply being killed and then thrown into these holes.
00:06:50.500 Look, media's everywhere, and it's very hard today
00:06:53.820 because you want to go and participate in it,
00:06:55.880 but every time you want to take your family to a movie,
00:06:57.780 you're like, oh, I can't do that because it's weird,
00:06:59.580 and it's going to hurt their faith.
00:07:00.920 Well, there's a film opening on October the 4th,
00:07:03.320 runs through the 8th, that you're definitely going to take part of
00:07:07.000 because it's awesome.
00:07:08.120 It promotes Eucharistic adoration.
00:07:10.580 It's a docudrama, so there's part of it that's a movie-movie,
00:07:13.900 And so take your kids, take your family, take your neighbors who you want to encourage in Eucharistic adoration to adore him.
00:07:21.940 The film Adore Him opens October 4th through 8th everywhere.
00:07:26.260 Go to adorehimfilm.com for more information.
00:07:30.280 Do it right now and enjoy the movies once again.
00:07:34.300 And at the same time, you're going to evangelize for Christ's true presence in the Blessed Sacrament.
00:07:39.000 From Times Square, God bless you.
00:07:41.360 But however, the first time ever that somebody came up with an image was for Bergoglio.
00:07:51.160 It is wrong.
00:07:52.960 They never had this image. 1.00
00:07:54.800 So if you present to indigenous people this image of a pregnant woman kneeling down, 0.94
00:08:02.040 they don't know what is the theological background of all this.
00:08:06.260 You know, in South America, they developed two different theologies, or so-called theologies.
00:08:15.080 One is liberation theology that everybody knows, I think, is a synthesis of syncretism with Marxism.
00:08:23.880 But the other one that is less known is what they call the indigenous theology.
00:08:30.860 So indigenous theology is an effort to counterbalance the first evangelization
00:08:39.580 Because they considered that the first evangelization done by saints were inadequate
00:08:47.120 They were too cruel
00:08:49.460 They did not respect the culture
00:08:52.000 And here is something that is very confusing
00:08:57.180 For us Catholics, traditional Catholics, allow me to include myself into that category, we know we have only one absolute.
00:09:08.840 That absolute is Christ.
00:09:10.920 And because he's an absolute, his teachings are also infallible.
00:09:15.680 So the gospel is infallible.
00:09:17.840 The gospel is not a legend.
00:09:19.760 The gospel is not a myth.
00:09:21.380 The gospel is the reality of our salvation.
00:09:26.820 this is the path of our salvation
00:09:28.900 for these people
00:09:31.200 no
00:09:31.840 you don't have an absolute
00:09:33.960 you have many
00:09:36.340 different ways
00:09:37.880 to find your truth
00:09:40.700 it's objective truth
00:09:42.920 it's not a truth
00:09:44.320 and they manipulate
00:09:46.400 San Agustin for this
00:09:48.700 and left and right
00:09:51.000 it's terrible how they do it
00:09:52.640 so the gospel may be true
00:09:54.580 but also the culture is truth.
00:09:58.560 So the culture begins to be something that Christians have never accepted as such.
00:10:07.620 The culture becomes also like another absolute
00:10:11.700 that you must respect as much as you do the gospel.
00:10:15.620 If the culture teaches you that Pachamama or Ilti, the son or whatever,
00:10:23.380 is God
00:10:25.760 for some people, you have to respect
00:10:27.840 that. So for them
00:10:29.860 it is one of the signs of respect
00:10:32.020 for the culture
00:10:33.640 of these people that you participate
00:10:36.200 in these ceremonies.
00:10:37.860 I don't know if they believe that Pachamama
00:10:39.900 is a God, probably not
00:10:41.520 but their
00:10:43.560 actions are contradictory
00:10:45.740 to the gospel. It's like the modernist
00:10:47.940 consequence. So you have
00:10:49.740 Christ, the historical Christ
00:10:52.060 and then you have
00:10:53.220 Christ the
00:10:55.300 myth.
00:10:57.540 What the first community
00:10:59.400 developed. Both are truths.
00:11:02.260 Even if they contradict
00:11:03.280 to each other, you have to accept both.
00:11:06.880 So, you know, for
00:11:09.360 an Aristotelian mind,
00:11:12.460 it doesn't
00:11:13.480 go well. You know, for
00:11:15.520 a Thomist mind,
00:11:17.480 it doesn't go well. But for them, it does
00:11:19.600 go well. So you have to accept
00:11:21.720 people like they are.
00:11:23.220 So, if it's required for you to accept it, that you worship Papa, you do it.
00:11:31.420 No, there is no more.
00:11:33.040 It's totally stunning because as you explain it, I get what you're talking about.
00:11:37.600 But the consequence is to reinforce in the indigenous peoples this belief that their gods are real gods.
00:11:47.140 It's not charity.
00:11:48.400 That's the opposite of charity.
00:11:50.360 Okay, so we've established now where it comes from.
00:11:55.420 So it's this Indigenous theology, which is interesting, because I think part of the whole Amazonian Synod that Francis did was also about promoting that.
00:12:04.620 But they seem to be wanting to introduce it to the Universal Church at this point.
00:12:08.820 It's not only wanting to keep it over there, because they had the Amazonian Synod, which brought it out a little bit.
00:12:14.040 But when it happened, even the Vatican promoted this publicly as part of the ceremony.
00:12:23.580 It was incredible.
00:12:24.440 Well, not only promoted, they embraced it as it was part of the Catholic teaching.
00:12:33.100 And now has become institutionalized because they are doing in Rome, they are doing here,
00:12:40.240 they are doing in Brazil, and all of this is with the blessing
00:12:44.320 and the approval of the new
00:12:48.540 hierarchy of the church. So I think
00:12:51.920 if you try to oppose that, it will be like
00:12:56.660 in the 15th century trying to oppose
00:13:00.700 Trent. If you oppose Trent, there were a lot
00:13:04.680 of anatemas, because Trent teaches you the truth.
00:13:08.700 But for them to speak about absolute, absolute truth is like a heres.
00:13:16.800 It is like a blasphemy.
00:13:18.080 You are not to say that.
00:13:19.420 Do you think we might see some kind of Pachamama activities when Leo comes?
00:13:23.920 No, I don't think so.
00:13:26.040 I think, yeah, because he is going to Sapsay Guaman, which is one of the most emblematic architectural sites in Cusco, and he is going to break the rosary.
00:13:40.160 I don't think he will risk more criticism.
00:13:44.460 He's trying to avoid that very firmly.
00:13:47.820 He's trying to become more popular.
00:13:50.380 He's trying to be, so he is trying very cleverly to things.
00:13:55.740 He's trying to come across as someone who respects tradition
00:13:59.820 and who respects the traditional teachings of the church
00:14:03.580 by some gestures, by some actions, by some appearance.
00:14:07.940 His other word, appearance, is trying to say that.
00:14:14.080 But at the same time, under Luke, he's trying to erode all of that.
00:14:19.560 For example, he will never say anything that is, you know, clearly contradictory to the church's teaching, but he will appoint people who support ideas contrary to the church's teaching.
00:14:33.440 Recently, we've covered it over and over and over and over. LGBT activists, bishops, the promoters of women's ordination. And it's with such frequency, it's impossible. It's just, it's unthinkable. But yet it happens again and again and again and again and again. It just won't stop.
00:14:52.280 For him, he will never say, I want to implement women's ordination in the church.
00:15:00.220 He will never say, I want a marriage between people of the same sex to be recognized in the church. 0.96
00:15:08.040 He will never say that, but he will appoint people who will say and do that.
00:15:12.440 He never goes to attack him personally.
00:15:16.200 He sends somebody else to do it with his blessing.
00:15:19.320 So when people question him, he will say, well, I don't know.
00:15:24.120 It never appeared to me that he will do such a thing.
00:15:29.040 But he has approved it.
00:15:30.260 Peru is also very controversial for Leo because it is where he was accused of covering up of abuse.
00:15:38.740 And of course, you were part of that case.
00:15:41.200 But something new just came out.
00:15:44.020 This is very interesting.
00:15:44.900 Tell us what came out and explain how important this is.
00:15:50.580 You know, there is a new book written by Santiago Roncayolo.
00:15:56.620 So he's trying to play a double game suit.
00:16:01.320 He's trying in some way to present Prevost as a very competent person.
00:16:08.640 In my opinion, you know, intellectually, he's not that competent.
00:16:12.640 I think he's very politically clever.
00:16:16.080 He knows how to maneuver things.
00:16:18.960 But he's not a deep theologian.
00:16:21.400 He's not Jean-Paul II.
00:16:22.820 He's not Benedict.
00:16:24.000 He's not Pius X, by all means.
00:16:27.860 He's not Pius XII.
00:16:30.220 You know, he's not close to any of these great minds of Catholicism that we have in the last two centuries.
00:16:41.100 But he tries to be like some of them.
00:16:44.200 For example, sometimes when he speaks in public,
00:16:48.280 he tries to imitate how John Paul II would explain things
00:16:52.700 or how emphatic he would be with some phrases
00:16:56.780 that were very impactful in his time.
00:16:59.680 Well, he is not doing a good job on that.
00:17:04.140 In Rimini, he tried to imitate him,
00:17:06.500 and I think it was ridiculous to listen to him
00:17:09.460 how he was trying to force himself to be like
00:17:13.340 John Paul II. That's absurd. But the problem
00:17:17.100 here is when he comes to
00:17:21.500 Peru, he will be totally welcome, robbingly.
00:17:25.300 There is no controversy about him in Peru because the media in Peru
00:17:29.200 have silenced all of this
00:17:33.020 endeavor about his cover-up. Because
00:17:37.380 he was totally unknown
00:17:39.540 when he was here in Peru
00:17:41.120 a couple of times
00:17:43.800 he appeared in the TV
00:17:45.720 being against Fujimori
00:17:47.780 the father of our new
00:17:49.540 president here in Peru
00:17:51.560 he was supporting
00:17:53.440 every agenda of the left
00:17:55.820 in Peru, Marxist
00:17:57.640 left in Peru, he wanted to
00:17:59.460 reivindicate some of the
00:18:01.120 Marxist movements in Peru
00:18:03.440 so he was very much
00:18:05.640 to the left
00:18:07.380 But he was not known in Peru for being a great thinker or a good.
00:18:16.280 He was, notoriously, he was somebody who would welcome these immigration organizations.
00:18:25.160 So, you know, there's an immigration organization that comes only to capitals of different countries.
00:18:32.880 But when he was bishop of Chiclayo, they went to Chiclayo, which is not a capital.
00:18:37.380 And he was trying to bring as much Venezuelans into Peru as possible.
00:18:45.740 He's big on this immigration issue.
00:18:48.260 You know, everything political, he's very, very big on that.
00:18:52.000 Right.
00:18:52.640 So this book is trying to present his good sides.
00:18:57.000 And he's trying to present him as a person who resolves difficult situations.
00:19:03.280 But he hasn't resolved his difficult situation, which is the cover-up that he perpetrated.
00:19:11.040 And also, that book is, I believe the book is trying to defend him in one way.
00:19:18.140 So they're saying that Luton may have been an abuser, but it's very strange that I defended these women because I am an abuser as well.
00:19:27.120 And they forced situations.
00:19:29.340 Let's explain that for people who perhaps haven't watched our previous show. So who is Lute?
00:19:34.340 Luther is a priest who abused minor girls by touching, sleeping with them, with a girl who was only nine years old. 0.72
00:19:51.920 And he did all kinds of sexual stuff with her when he was denounced before Prevost. 0.76
00:19:59.680 The three girls, they actually went to then Bishop Robert Prevost.
00:20:06.220 Yeah.
00:20:06.680 Yes.
00:20:07.280 He sends them to the civil authorities knowing that the statute of limitations have expired in the Peruvian legal system.
00:20:18.000 And so he did that knowing that they couldn't have a chance legally, but they did have a chance in the church.
00:20:26.560 Like the church doesn't have a statute of limitations.
00:20:29.680 So they could have gone forward in the church.
00:20:32.240 But what happened there?
00:20:33.440 He used the resolution of the legal system in Peru to say there is no evidence.
00:20:40.180 But the legal system in Peru said the statute of limitations have expired.
00:20:46.340 No, there is no crime, that there is no proofs.
00:20:50.360 But he used that to say to Rome at that time, we have nothing here.
00:20:55.700 But they have something.
00:20:57.540 And then he lied to the cardinals in the conclave, saying, I did everything according to the law.
00:21:04.100 The only thing that he did according to the rest of the persecutor, really, has been the advocate.
00:21:10.740 So they tried to present me as this absolute corrupt person who hates Prevost for the sake of his theology.
00:21:21.280 I don't know, that we have long animosity between each other, which is false.
00:21:29.100 I met him only once in my life.
00:21:32.520 We had a civil conversation and never saw each other again.
00:21:37.040 So they tried to say that we have this ongoing debate, heated interchange between the two of us, which is not true.
00:21:45.740 When I wanted to leave the Augustinian order, he was the one who signed the paper saying,
00:21:52.440 there is nothing, if you want to go, you can go.
00:21:55.320 However, they said that I was a serial abuser of how many seminarians?
00:22:01.000 Seriously, there was nothing.
00:22:02.060 In the book, they said that I forced one of the seminarians to confess his unchaste actions with himself.
00:22:14.600 in public. So the book is lying about that
00:22:18.940 because what I find is that somebody was
00:22:22.880 bringing pornographic magazines
00:22:26.520 into the seminary. So then I said, I need to know who this is
00:22:31.220 because everybody knows that somebody has brought. And finally
00:22:35.160 he came out and said, I brought them and I also
00:22:39.040 did that. But he said that I forced him to confess
00:22:43.280 his sins in public which is so the distortion side like this over and over and over it's really
00:22:52.340 interesting because that same book that seeks to present prevost well that seeks to malign yourself
00:22:59.080 actually it actually revealed something very interesting that i think startled many people
00:23:05.940 because in it they revealed that this abuser priest that the who by the way is very close to
00:23:12.900 Leo, then Prevost. Actually, his own disciple, in other words, someone who was under him and
00:23:21.140 who admired him greatly, was the one Leo chose for his own secretary. Tell us about that.
00:23:26.700 Lute was a very charismatic person. He will lure you into anything that he wanted because of his
00:23:36.060 charismatic. He was very charming. So he
00:23:39.720 lured girls, boys, whatever,
00:23:44.580 into what he wanted to do. So he brought
00:23:47.640 some people into the seminary, some seminaries.
00:23:52.540 For that, he had good reputation. Amongst
00:23:56.020 them is this Edgar Rimaikuna,
00:24:00.240 which is an orphan. So they were friends with
00:24:03.680 Prevost, even before Prevost became bishop,
00:24:07.980 and he calls Prevost his spiritual director.
00:24:12.680 So there is one thing that is kind of shocking
00:24:15.580 to me, is the fact
00:24:18.920 that when Prevost was appointed prefect for the
00:24:23.680 Ticasterio, the bishops in Rome, of course he left
00:24:27.900 Chiclayo and Rimaikona got
00:24:31.760 But into deep depression, missing him.
00:24:36.700 Great.
00:24:37.220 His secretary now, when he left...
00:24:40.920 He was his secretary also in Chiclayo.
00:24:43.600 Okay, so in Chiclayo, he's already his secretary.
00:24:45.880 They met, by the way, when this guy was very, very young.
00:24:49.260 I think 17.
00:24:50.580 16.
00:24:51.420 16.
00:24:52.380 And Prévost at the time was how old?
00:24:54.220 Probably his 40s.
00:24:56.280 You know, I think they developed this deep friendship, and for some reason, I think he was, he, at least he, was dependent on this friendship.
00:25:07.140 When Prévost knew about his depression, he brought him to Rome to be his secretary as cardinal in the Dicaster.
00:25:16.400 So then when he was elected, he continued to be his secretary, so now he's official.
00:25:23.760 So it's not a new secretary to him.
00:25:27.820 The friendship with Lute is long dated.
00:25:31.580 But also Lute appears once in a while in some pictures with the rest of the officials of the Curia of Chiclayo,
00:25:40.320 even where he was given the dispensation.
00:25:44.800 So let me tell you, there is a very important distinction here between dispensation and dismissal.
00:25:52.800 dismissal because he was not dismissed from the clerical estate. He was dispensed. So for example,
00:25:59.940 if somebody for some reason cannot fulfill legal requirements of the church, he may require a
00:26:07.540 dispensation. For example, if I have an elderly person that I need to take care of on Sundays
00:26:14.820 and cannot go to mass, I can request my pastor to dispense me for that obligation and maybe
00:26:21.860 They commute me, so I go Thursdays instead of Sundays because, you know, I am impeded to fulfill the law, my worship law on Sundays.
00:26:36.800 Or I have been sick for a long time, so I cannot abstain from meat or something during Lent, so I can request a dispensation.
00:26:47.220 So priests may require a dispensation because they say, okay, I lost my feet.
00:26:52.340 I don't believe in this anymore.
00:26:54.660 So I need to go.
00:26:56.180 I don't want to harm people preaching what I don't believe.
00:26:59.880 So I need to go.
00:27:01.320 You require a dispensation. 0.99
00:27:03.100 Or you fall in love with somebody and the lady is expecting a child. 0.98
00:27:08.980 So you go.
00:27:10.320 You request a dispensation and you go because you don't want to harm the church.
00:27:15.840 But in all these examples, there is no crime.
00:27:20.180 There may be sin, but there is no crime.
00:27:23.960 However, when you commit a crime, you cannot request a dispensation.
00:27:31.800 Why?
00:27:32.500 Because a dispensation is something benign.
00:27:36.080 It's like a blessing.
00:27:38.240 So you cannot request a blessing for a crime, for God's sake.
00:27:43.220 So he requests a dispensation because of his crime, and Prevost, it was Prevost himself who granted the dispensation.
00:27:53.880 That is a revolt in the legal system, because you have the legal system blessing you for crimes.
00:28:03.340 Tell me what kind of system is that?
00:28:05.120 So that's very interesting. So he should have been dismissed from the clerical state, but he wasn't dismissed.
00:28:11.640 he was given a dispensation instead.
00:28:13.780 And that distinction is very, very important.
00:28:16.040 Okay.
00:28:16.600 Very important.
00:28:17.560 And why he was not dismissed?
00:28:20.120 Because you cannot dismiss somebody with no trial.
00:28:23.440 They didn't want to have a trial.
00:28:25.100 Why?
00:28:26.080 Because in the trial, you will know everything.
00:28:28.420 Didn't the three girls, victims, who now, of course, are women,
00:28:32.080 but didn't they request of Prevost that he not do away with,
00:28:38.680 that he not give them a dispensation?
00:28:40.860 Yes, they begged Prevost not to give Luther the dispensation, but Prevost will risk his own reputation because in the trial, they will show everything that he didn't do to protect the children and to enforce the law of the church.
00:28:58.620 It's so unjust that they tried to impose the trial.
00:29:04.100 Well, they didn't do any trial on me either.
00:29:07.480 So they did the administrative process, which was truncated.
00:29:12.940 So it was not finished because Bergoglio didn't sign it.
00:29:16.820 Bergoglio had to sign the decree, but that's missing.
00:29:20.240 And now what he's trying to do is to discredit me as much as possible
00:29:25.260 because they don't want people to listen to me.
00:29:28.620 So he wants to present me this abusive, disgraced person who's accusing me, the great Pope, you know, this magnificent figure in the church, so holy.
00:29:42.820 He's the bad guy.
00:29:43.960 I am the good guy.
00:29:44.940 Well, you know, Preble is very clever in doing that.
00:29:49.080 Here we are heading into his coming to Peru.
00:29:52.060 And there's all these controversies.
00:29:54.080 They're just swept under the rug by both the media there, but also this book comes out trying
00:30:03.040 to whitewash his record. The very mention of it has also sparked interest in it. So that's quite
00:30:09.500 interesting. I thank you for giving us your time, your background on all of this, especially it's
00:30:14.720 interesting to hear you don't think that this will make a big deal in Peru, nor do you think
00:30:20.680 He's going to be engaging in any kind of Pachamama ceremony during his visit because of his way of presenting things, of looking clean himself, letting other people do the dirty work, and saying one thing but doing another in the background.
00:30:36.300 Monsignor Coronado, thank you so much for joining us, and would you give us your blessing as we leave?
00:30:41.880 May Almighty God bless you, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
00:30:47.000 And my best wishes to your work and to your success.
00:30:52.500 Thank you for what you're doing for the church.
00:30:55.140 People need clarity.
00:30:57.360 And what we are getting from the Vatican is darkness and confusion.
00:31:02.080 So thank you for doing that.
00:31:04.040 Thank you, Father, for joining us.
00:31:05.220 God bless you.
00:31:06.240 And God bless all of you.
00:31:08.020 And we'll see you next time.
