The John-Henry Westen Show - Priest Reveals SECRET to Defeat Satan's Greatest Weapon

00:00:00.000 The Holy Trinity possesses us all at baptism.

00:00:02.500 And when you commit a mortal sin, basically you're telling God,

00:00:05.060 Get out! I don't want you. 0.99

00:00:07.500 I prefer pleasure over you.

00:00:11.320 For this episode, you know, I'm going to want you to go and get your young men 1.00

00:00:14.820 or send this episode to your young men

00:00:16.880 because so many young men today and older men struggle with porn addiction and everything else.

00:00:22.920 Well, this priest who's going to join us today,

00:00:24.640 he's going to give us something that he assures us will cure them of it.

00:00:29.380 If they follow the steps. There's a big if in there.

00:00:31.820 In fact, Father Isaac Mary Ralea is really famous for his preaching.

00:00:35.980 And it's the preaching that we don't get.

00:00:37.560 It's the kind of preaching that probably our forefathers got

00:00:40.340 and has just been abandoned for the last 60, 70 years or so.

00:00:44.600 So you're in for a treat.

00:00:46.440 Father Isaac Mary, thank you so much for joining us. God bless you.

00:00:48.840 Thank you. Good to be here.

00:00:50.860 Let's begin, as we always do, at the Son of the Cross, if you could lead us, please.

00:00:53.660 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

00:00:56.980 Amen. So, Father Isaac, tell us about yourself because there's a lot of people who do know you,

00:01:02.800 but I'm sure there's many also who don't.

00:01:05.000 Tell us something about yourself and how you came to be doing, what you're doing now.

00:01:08.400 Well, to try to sum it up quick, but I was brought up in a really strict Catholic family.

00:01:13.140 My mother was a very pious woman, and we had to pray the rosary every night.

00:01:17.680 I was an altar boy. I wanted to be a priest when I was five.

00:01:20.880 And I went astray, though, for 17 years.

00:01:25.300 And my mother wore her knees out praying for me to come back to the church.

00:01:30.420 And when I did, I'm going real fast now, but a year later, I ended up in the seminary.

00:01:36.460 And when my mother dropped me off at the seminary, she told me,

00:01:39.620 I want to tell you something I never told you before,

00:01:42.280 because I didn't want you to feel any pressure to do my will, but only God's will.

00:01:46.300 So she told me that she consecrated me in her womb to the Blessed Virgin if I was a male,

00:01:52.800 because in 1959, I didn't have those tests, to be a priest if God wanted that.

00:01:58.380 And when I was born, she renewed it, and she wrote to St. Pio, who was alive in 59,

00:02:04.480 and she requested to be his spiritual daughter.

00:02:07.480 And she said, please pray for my son, James, to be a priest if God wants.

00:02:11.780 And he wrote her back and told her he will be a priest.

00:02:14.480 But she never told me that.

00:02:17.080 And thank God, because I'm not proud of the life I live.

00:02:19.920 But I was a pretty wild guy.

00:02:21.480 I grew up on the streets in New York.

00:02:23.660 And unfortunately, I did it all.

00:02:25.800 And I was a really big, had a lot of fights.

00:02:29.100 I was a street fighter, all this nonsense.

00:02:31.540 But God takes evil and uses for his good in the long run if you cooperate.

00:02:36.780 And so I come to the priesthood.

00:02:38.420 And I joined, I was in a seminary, and it was horrible.

00:02:44.080 And when I got out, I met my order there.

00:02:45.920 When I joined my order, I thank God I had really good theology.

00:02:49.920 And my mother came home one day.

00:02:51.600 She said to me, this lady at the prayer group bought this book for a dollar.

00:02:55.520 And she had a garage sale.

00:02:56.820 She thought you may want to read it.

00:02:58.440 So I look at the book, because I'm just back to the faith.

00:03:01.160 And it said, Dignities and Duties of a Priest, St. Alphonse Liguori.

00:03:06.220 So I started devouring that book.

00:03:08.240 And it shook me right to my very core, because St. Alphonse teaches your vocation is connected

00:03:13.220 with your salvation.

00:03:14.920 And if you discern it properly, and you choose to do the opposite of what God shows you, it's

00:03:20.340 almost impossible to save your soul.

00:03:23.560 And so to be a priest, too, after reading that, it tells you what a real priest is.

00:03:29.300 You know, and this is a problem today.

00:03:31.520 You hear so many priests saying, well, I don't know my identity.

00:03:34.200 Your identity as a priest is to be crucified with Christ, you know, and everything that

00:03:40.660 goes along with that.

00:03:41.900 And so by reading that book, it scares you, because you realize the responsibilities.

00:03:46.520 But it's like, you know, that's the best way you could save your soul.

00:03:49.860 So anyway, God led me into the priesthood, and I was blessed to have great theology.

00:03:56.320 And what happened is I had a moral professor saying, Father Alphonse, I almost called him

00:04:00.920 Saint, because I believe he was.

00:04:02.920 And one time he was going back to Rome, and he taught us all St. Alphonse, what I'm going

00:04:07.040 to go over today.

00:04:08.060 And I said to him, Father, you have any good advice for me before you go back to Rome?

00:04:12.740 He says, my son, never waste your time reading good books.

00:04:17.680 And by that, I mean only read the best, the fathers and the doctors of the church.

00:04:21.580 And by doing that, you'll grow in wisdom and holiness.

00:04:23.700 And so when he came to, he taught us all St. Alphonse, and that's what I prayed to the

00:04:28.720 Blessed Virgin, that if I'm going to be a priest, that I'd be able to study St. Alphonse's

00:04:32.980 morals.

00:04:33.900 So that's what happened.

00:04:35.940 And man, did it come in handy right away by hearing my, I started doing missions, and

00:04:42.040 the first mission they sent me out on, they didn't even give me time to prepare.

00:04:46.000 They said, you got to go.

00:04:47.040 And I said, I have no time.

00:04:48.820 Just do what you're told.

00:04:49.980 So I said, what am I going to preach on?

00:04:51.720 What St. Alphonse did, all the great missionaries, St. Louis de Montfort, St. Leonard de Port

00:04:55.680 Maurice, the four last things.

00:04:58.920 And nothing moves souls more than the four last things, death, judgment, heaven, and hell.

00:05:04.720 And then by preaching this, I couldn't believe what happened.

00:05:07.920 My first mission, I said to him, you better teach me how to lock up the church tonight,

00:05:12.240 show me, because I'm going to be here a long time.

00:05:14.780 And he laughed at me, he goes, I'm a Monsignor for 50 years, I've had missions twice a year,

00:05:20.760 no missionary hears confessions more than an hour.

00:05:24.340 I said, it's going to be different tonight.

00:05:26.240 And so I started hearing confessions at eight o'clock, and I got out of confession at 3.45

00:05:31.600 a.m. in the morning, because these people, they couldn't believe it.

00:05:37.080 So every day, my first mission, I was hearing 12 to 16 hours a day of confessions, because

00:05:42.360 when you preach the truth, the truth sets you free.

00:05:46.120 And, you know, and they say, too, you know, that saying the truth hurts, it does, because

00:05:49.620 I tell people, when a priest gets up there and preaches the truth, if the Holy Ghost goes

00:05:55.460 out and the Word of God goes out, it's a two-edged sword.

00:05:59.120 It never comes back void.

00:06:00.380 And so I tell people, if you start getting annoyed at what I'm saying, it's a good sign,

00:06:04.900 it's the Holy Ghost convicting you.

00:06:06.880 I say, if you have a wound in your side, and I come and poke you there, you're going to

00:06:10.620 jump, because it hurts.

00:06:12.060 So it's the same with the Word of God.

00:06:13.820 And so I've seen some crazy reactions, I've been spit on and everything, but some of the

00:06:19.380 biggest conversions take place.

00:06:21.520 So that's why I encourage priests out there, don't give in to this human respect.

00:06:25.000 We're called to preach, as St. Paul says in Timothy, the word, in season, out of season,

00:06:29.880 convenient, not convenient.

00:06:31.420 You know, the time will come when people want their ears tickled with false doctrines.

00:06:35.720 And that's the time we live in.

00:06:37.620 But when you do this, you're going to set souls free as priests.

00:06:40.840 And we can't give in to this human respect and worry about, you know, they're worried

00:06:44.640 about my bishop or pull my faculties, all this stuff.

00:06:47.780 But you have to save your soul, too, as a priest.

00:06:51.380 I have to save my soul.

00:06:53.200 And so that's how I started off.

00:06:55.920 And there's a big problem today, John Henry, we were talking about in the beginning, is

00:07:00.740 one of the biggest problems.

00:07:02.420 It's not just men now, it's women, too.

00:07:04.580 It's porn on the internet.

00:07:07.300 And the saints tell you the worst bondage is impurity.

00:07:11.960 And Our Lady of Fatima told Jacinta that most souls go to hell primarily for the sins of

00:07:18.500 impurity.

00:07:19.560 St. Alphonse, the great doctor of the church, says souls that don't go there primarily for

00:07:24.680 that prominent vice of impurity, at one time in their life committed a sin of impurity.

00:07:30.500 And so I tell people, if you're at war, what weapon are you going to use?

00:07:34.040 Your most effective one?

00:07:35.640 Are you going to go in there with a pea shoot? 0.84

00:07:37.360 Or you want to, I want the nuclear bomb. 0.70

00:07:39.600 And so when I go into that, you know, we have to know that the devil, that's his greatest

00:07:46.620 weapon.

00:07:47.380 And we see society's infected totally with it.

00:07:50.760 And it's really, really bad.

00:07:52.680 You know, I'm a priest now.

00:07:53.780 It's going to be 27 years.

00:07:55.240 It's coming August.

00:07:56.580 And I could tell you, the priests that I've talked to over the years, almost all of them

00:08:01.300 complain.

00:08:01.960 I can't get my young men to stop looking at pornography. 0.99

00:08:05.160 I can't get them to stop committing masturbation and other wicked sins. 0.97

00:08:09.600 And I said, because you're not, you're not applying the proper remedies. 0.84

00:08:14.880 You're not applying, we have to, so St.

00:08:16.940 Alphonse, the great doctor of the church tells us that a priest has four duties.

00:08:22.600 Number one, he's a teacher.

00:08:25.060 He teaches you how to walk in the ways of holiness. 1.00

00:08:28.140 Description says only a fool guides himself. 0.99

00:08:30.960 Number two, he's a judge. 0.99

00:08:32.180 He judges your sins, guilty, mortal, venial sin.

00:08:36.320 Number three, really important.

00:08:38.200 They're all important, but he's a physician of the soul.

00:08:42.040 And it's like a physician, a regular doctor.

00:08:44.760 When you go to a doctor, what do you go to a doctor for?

00:08:47.100 You're sick.

00:08:47.980 What does he do? 0.95

00:08:48.740 He diagnoses your disease. 0.99

00:08:51.080 And then he doesn't just tell you, say, you have cancer, go home and die.

00:08:54.700 He gives you a remedy, a prescription, an operation.

00:08:59.460 And so the priest's duty in the confessional then is to be that teacher, to be the judge,

00:09:05.320 but also the physician of the soul to diagnose, okay, impurities.

00:09:10.380 So now I got to give you the proper remedies to uproot that vice.

00:09:14.900 We're to the point where you'd rather die than ever commit that sin again.

00:09:19.740 And then last of all, he's a compassionate father.

00:09:23.880 And just like in the parable of the prodigal son, the son had to leave the father's house

00:09:29.300 because he was living a wicked life.

00:09:31.400 But then the father prayed for him and waited for him.

00:09:34.240 And God's waiting for all of us that are away from him to come back to him.

00:09:37.760 And when he came back, because he was tired of sinning, it's painful.

00:09:42.700 So when he came back, the father didn't chastise me, embraced him, ran to him, picked up his

00:09:48.160 robe so he could run and braced him, right?

00:09:49.880 My son who was dead is now alive.

00:09:52.160 And so this is the beauty.

00:09:53.680 It's such a gift from God to be a confessor and to set soul free.

00:09:59.220 But you have to know how to do it.

00:10:00.980 And unfortunately, John Henry, that we hear about the disaster since the Second Vatican Council,

00:10:07.640 and rightly so.

00:10:08.360 Now, we hear about the damage that is done when it comes to Scripture, dogma.

00:10:14.360 Very rarely.

00:10:15.420 When have you ever heard about the damage that has been done in the confessional?

00:10:19.380 When?

00:10:20.240 You never hear about it.

00:10:22.280 But St. John Vianney says that's the most important part of the priest, one of the most

00:10:26.940 important part for the priest's role, because it's the most intimate time where a soul bears

00:10:32.860 itself to you.

00:10:34.580 And preaching is good.

00:10:36.040 The Word of God and faith comes by hearing, but the whole purpose is to get them in that

00:10:40.200 confessional.

00:10:41.520 And so he says, it's in the confessional that souls are set free.

00:10:47.240 Now, how many men come into the confessional and they're entrenched in this sin for 10,

00:10:53.280 20?

00:10:53.680 I've had men even 40, 50 years.

00:10:56.100 And these men are about to despair, John.

00:10:58.620 They're about to, they're not about, they are despairing.

00:11:01.000 They father, I go to, I do my rosary.

00:11:03.180 I go to confession even every week.

00:11:05.820 How come I can't stop?

00:11:07.340 They don't think the sacraments efficacious.

00:11:10.400 And so what happens is when you keep going to confession, committing a mortal sin, when

00:11:16.040 you make your act of contrition, what do you do?

00:11:19.440 You promise to have amendment of life.

00:11:23.120 And so, so you're promising to change your life.

00:11:26.680 And if you don't do that and you keep going, the confessional becomes a revolving door.

00:11:32.380 And what happens to these poor sinners, St.

00:11:34.220 Alphonse, is when they keep getting absolved, and most of the time they get three Hail Marys,

00:11:39.760 and that's not the way it's supposed to be.

00:11:41.900 They have, they lose their horror for sin.

00:11:45.240 They lose it.

00:11:46.580 And they get in deeper and deeper and deeper.

00:11:49.360 So this is where the great doctor of the church, St.

00:11:52.420 Alphonse, says, when you have penitents like that, that are entrenched, and they keep sinning,

00:11:58.520 there's no change of life.

00:12:00.480 They're not, they're committing the same sin even more than ever.

00:12:03.820 And I could go through a list because it would take a while to go through everything.

00:12:07.660 But normally, you have to delay their absolution.

00:12:10.540 And the church teaches that you can never absolve a penitent if they're in a voluntary, proximate occasion of sin.

00:12:18.940 That's an occasion of sin where they fall all the time, or most of the time,

00:12:23.680 and they voluntarily put themselves in there.

00:12:26.340 So the church says that we have to, the penitent has to remove that occasion of sin before they can be absolved.

00:12:34.500 So when one of these men come in, we go over everything.

00:12:38.720 And so you have to know, St.

00:12:40.720 Alphonse says, when to probe in the confession and when not, because you're not supposed to probe unnecessarily.

00:12:47.220 But the minute someone confesses a mortal sin, I'm obliged now as a confessor to say,

00:12:52.940 well, when was the last time you confessed that?

00:12:55.680 And usually in these cases, it will fall last week, two weeks ago.

00:12:59.040 And the time before that, they say, Father, I've been confessing this for years.

00:13:02.460 I cannot overcome it.

00:13:04.060 And I said, okay, so in other words, they're proving to you that they don't have an amendment of life.

00:13:11.180 And so what St.

00:13:11.840 Alphonse says is you have to delay their absolution.

00:13:15.280 And by delaying their absolution, it's like a wake-up call.

00:13:18.680 You're not denying them absolution.

00:13:20.660 You're delaying.

00:13:21.760 And second of all, I can't give them the absolution until that proximate occasion of sin is removed.

00:13:28.120 And so most of these men have to tell them, okay, so I'm going to have to delay your absolution.

00:13:34.320 But let me explain it to you because what's the first question?

00:13:38.280 I say, you're probably worried.

00:13:39.480 I say, Father, if you don't give me absolution, if I die tonight, I'm going to go to hell because I'm in mortal sin.

00:13:44.720 And St.

00:13:45.340 Alphonse teaches the confessor.

00:13:46.840 He tells you what to say.

00:13:47.860 It's awesome.

00:13:48.780 He says, I could give you a hundred absolution and I can be valid because you don't have an amendment of life.

00:13:55.400 So we're going to remove the occasions that lead.

00:13:59.480 So how you fall on the computer?

00:14:01.520 Yes.

00:14:01.820 On the cell phone?

00:14:02.760 Yes.

00:14:03.080 I said, so you're going to have to go home.

00:14:05.060 You're going to have to delete any pornography you downloaded on your computer.

00:14:09.560 You're going to have to get a guard on the computer where it will prevent you from going in.

00:14:14.580 And you should have somebody else put the code in or you could do it yourself with your eyes closed so that you can't.

00:14:21.200 Sometimes you get these computer geeks, though.

00:14:23.240 They know how to get around all that.

00:14:24.600 So you have to know these things.

00:14:26.260 Sometimes I also recommend they have some good service out there where they won't allow that.

00:14:31.200 So you have to get them to do that.

00:14:33.200 If they're falling, if they're cohabitating, right, with a woman or a man, I have to say, well, you can't get absolution until you move out of the house or the other person moves out of the house because you've got to remove the occasion.

00:14:46.620 So, and I question these men all the time.

00:14:49.780 And I said, what happened in the last confession?

00:14:51.920 Well, the priest told me to remove the pornography or move out of the house.

00:14:57.840 I said, well, what happened?

00:14:58.840 My intention was to do that.

00:15:00.540 But I'm so entrenched into the vice.

00:15:03.140 When I went to do it, I fell again.

00:15:05.700 And so that's why St. Alphonse says we have to tell him, no, go remove that and then come back.

00:15:12.060 And so I explained to them.

00:15:13.260 St. Alphonse says, so if you're going to do what I tell you, because I'm going to give you remedies to uproot this by the very roots, because it's like a garden, right?

00:15:21.720 If you go in the garden and just pull weeds, what happens?

00:15:24.540 They come back up unless you get it by the root.

00:15:27.960 And even more so with this particular vice, which is they're all chained up.

00:15:32.240 They're in chains.

00:15:33.480 And like I said, they're actually despairing, many of these poor men.

00:15:37.960 And the priests are frustrated because they don't know how to get them to stop.

00:15:43.000 But many of them don't want to follow St. Alphonse of Gloria.

00:15:46.280 He's called the forgotten doctor of the church.

00:15:48.400 And I say not even the forgotten doctor, but the despised doctor.

00:15:52.320 I am shocked about priests, even traditional priests, that will not follow St. Alphonse.

00:15:57.880 I disagree.

00:15:58.640 I said, it blows my mind.

00:16:00.180 I said, how can you disagree with a doctor of the church?

00:16:04.240 And the church has given St. Alphonse, they said they have examined all his moral theology with a fine comb.

00:16:12.400 And they said there are no errors in his theology.

00:16:15.680 So a priest that follows St. Alphonse is being safe because he knows what he's following.

00:16:22.060 There is no errors.

00:16:23.680 And so if we apply it properly, we're going to heal these souls.

00:16:27.200 I tell the soul, if you're going to do what I tell you, God will normally get you back here.

00:16:33.020 I'll tell you, come back at the end of the week.

00:16:35.340 If I'm doing a mission, I'll tell them, come back on the last day of the mission because you don't want to make it too difficult for them.

00:16:42.540 And so I give them, John, a list of remedies.

00:16:46.140 And I go over the list.

00:16:47.480 And I said, but God also says this, that if you were in danger of dying and you can't get back to me, he'll have another priest come to you and absolve you.

00:16:58.480 And then even better than that, if another priest can't come, he could grant you the grace of making a perfect act of contrition, which can also be called a perfect act of love, where you are sorry for your sins solely because they offend God.

00:17:16.400 It can't be mixed with a fear of hell.

00:17:18.120 And the saints tell you that's the greatest gift that God could give anyone.

00:17:23.020 But you don't want to, you know, risk your eternal salvation.

00:17:26.720 So many people put off confessions, say, don't worry, when I'm on my deathbed, Father, I'll do it.

00:17:31.080 There's no guarantee because sudden death is not unusual and sudden death is not a blessing from God.

00:17:38.100 So I tell him, I said, so this is not to beat you down.

00:17:41.780 This is to encourage you that you will be set free.

00:17:45.900 And I could tell you what happens.

00:17:47.800 As many of the men cry, grown men, they said, this is the first time I feel hope.

00:17:54.020 Because what's hope?

00:17:55.040 That we, the theological virtue infused at baptism, that we believe in the promises that Christ gave us.

00:18:00.260 And God said that, you know, he will, he has a place for you.

00:18:04.600 He prepared.

00:18:05.540 And if you do his will, he will free you.

00:18:07.960 And so I encouraged them.

00:18:09.140 I said, I'm here for you, but here, so I give them the remedies.

00:18:13.120 And I said, you got to know these inside out.

00:18:15.140 And if you do these every day, you will not fall.

00:18:18.320 And when they come back, most of the time, they want to kiss your feet.

00:18:23.080 Because when you see a grown man come back crying and they tell me, oh, Father, these are not tears of sorrow.

00:18:29.220 These are tears of joy.

00:18:30.480 Like, this is the first time in a week in my, in the last 10, 20, 30 years or one year, whatever it is, that I didn't fall into that sin.

00:18:39.420 I can't thank you.

00:18:40.600 No.

00:18:40.760 I said, thank God.

00:18:41.540 There's more joy in heaven over one repented sinner than over all the just.

00:18:45.140 So one time I was at John Henry, I was at a, I was invited to a men's conference and my friend ran it.

00:18:52.000 It was in Napa, California, and he had over 300 men.

00:18:56.440 And the bishop didn't want me to come for it because he knew me and I knew the bishop.

00:19:00.760 And he says, I don't want Father Isaac coming here because he even told my friend, he said, I think Father Isaac is probably even a holy priest, but he does the old mass.

00:19:10.420 And I don't want him doing that probably.

00:19:12.620 So my friend said, I don't understand that.

00:19:15.680 You know, so he gave him pressure and he's finally agreed.

00:19:18.460 He said, Father could come, but he can't offer the mass, but he could preach.

00:19:21.680 I said, fine.

00:19:22.720 So the title of my talk was Confession, the Revolving Door.

00:19:27.300 So when I started giving the talk, there was this man, he was a vet.

00:19:32.520 He just came back from war and he had post-traumatic stress and he was a Bible dumper. 1.00

00:19:37.580 He wasn't counting.

00:19:38.040 He started jumping up and he said, that's lie.

00:19:41.280 That's not what the Bible says.

00:19:42.900 Excuse me, sir.

00:19:43.740 Sit down.

00:19:44.500 Don't you want to talk to me after the talk?

00:19:46.540 We could talk with, you know, don't disrupt it.

00:19:48.840 And he kept jumping up.

00:19:50.140 It took six men.

00:19:51.180 They had, he went nuts.

00:19:52.020 They had to carry him out.

00:19:52.860 And I said, you see what's going on here, man?

00:19:55.640 You're about to be set free and the devil doesn't want it.

00:19:59.080 The chains will break.

00:20:00.500 So after I go through my talk and I go into details more than what we're even talking about, it was, I said, I'm going to go.

00:20:07.300 So they had to set up outside.

00:20:09.380 They had like six spots for priests. 0.73

00:20:11.340 They had five priests there plus myself.

00:20:13.580 I said, I'm going to start hearing confessions because I gave a talk in the morning.

00:20:16.540 I will be here to the last person.

00:20:19.000 I don't care how long it takes.

00:20:20.280 So I'm hearing confessions and I, you know, look up.

00:20:23.800 There's a long line and none of them were going to the other priests.

00:20:28.020 None.

00:20:28.880 And the other priests started yelling at the penitents.

00:20:31.540 They said, what are you doing?

00:20:32.380 He's not the only priest here.

00:20:33.940 You knocked this off.

00:20:35.140 And so my friend came who was running and he said, why are you men going?

00:20:39.780 He goes, we're only going to Father Isaac, all of them said.

00:20:42.600 You know why?

00:20:43.300 Because when they came in, they said the first time I have some hope that I could lick this

00:20:47.100 advice finally.

00:20:48.300 And your message resonated with me.

00:20:50.600 And I've tried everything.

00:20:51.840 Nothing works.

00:20:53.180 And many of the men come in.

00:20:54.720 You're probably not going to be able to give me absolution.

00:20:56.540 But I, this is the, I feel so happy.

00:20:59.220 Thank you, Father.

00:21:00.100 And I still get emails from people 20, 20 some years ago, thanking for that confession

00:21:06.600 and other times and missions that they never fell again because they did those remedies,

00:21:13.100 John.

00:21:13.580 They did it.

00:21:14.220 Wow.

00:21:15.400 All right.

00:21:15.920 Father, are you able to share with us the remedies?

00:21:18.400 Because I'm sure at this point, all the guys are going, what the heck is this?

00:21:22.720 Yeah.

00:21:22.980 And so the remedies are this.

00:21:26.540 Number one, the number one means to keep chaste is to receive the Eucharist as often 1.00

00:21:31.880 as possible, you know, once a day, if you can.

00:21:35.020 And many people can't do that.

00:21:36.480 So I tell them to do spiritual communions, but you can't receive the Eucharist if you're

00:21:40.600 a mortal saint, because then that's sacrilege.

00:21:43.120 And a lot of these men are doing that.

00:21:45.420 They're still, I'm amazed, John Henry, of the amount of sacrilege that goes on.

00:21:50.800 It never ceases.

00:21:52.180 And these are people that know, I say, wait a minute, do you understand what you're saying?

00:21:55.360 Tell me why you think it was a sacrilege.

00:21:58.140 They say, no, I'm a mortal sin, and I'm just, I'm begging God for help.

00:22:02.160 So, but once you're in the state of grace, you go as often as possible.

00:22:07.640 And then if you can't, because many people can't go to mass every day with work or whatever,

00:22:12.440 or the mass is not available.

00:22:14.920 St.

00:22:15.360 Alphonse said to do spiritual communions.

00:22:17.620 So, spiritual communion, he says this, it's mind-boggling, that spiritual communion, you

00:22:23.300 will receive almost the same grace as if you actually received communion.

00:22:28.980 So he has a beautiful form.

00:22:30.760 It says, oh my Jesus, I believe that you are truly present in the blessed sacrament.

00:22:35.960 I love you above all things, and I long to receive you into my soul.

00:22:39.960 So, since I can't receive you now sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart, and

00:22:46.300 then pause.

00:22:47.520 And when that pause, you could beg God, say, rip this vice of impurity out of me.

00:22:51.660 Rip it out of me by its roots.

00:22:53.920 Give me the disposition, which I'll go to too, to rather die than commit that sin.

00:22:58.700 So that's the number one.

00:23:00.040 Number two is devotion to the blessed Virgin Mary.

00:23:03.700 The devil, in one sense, almost hates the blessed Virgin Mary, St. Maximilian Kolb, more

00:23:10.360 than God.

00:23:11.020 Why?

00:23:11.320 Because she's a creature, a human being, but free from sin.

00:23:15.920 I will put enmity in between thee and the woman, her seed and your seed, she shall crush 1.00

00:23:19.520 your head. 1.00

00:23:20.360 And he hates her.

00:23:22.480 And so, consecrate yourself to the blessed Virgin Mary, where you give yourself to her

00:23:27.300 totally, as St. Maximilian says, as her possession and property.

00:23:31.500 St. Louis de Montfort uses the term as a slave, but Maximilian Kolb said, people don't understand

00:23:38.960 that today, that concept of slave.

00:23:40.920 So, possession, property, and it's great.

00:23:43.560 And when you do that, you imitate Christ, because Christ wants us to go to Him the way

00:23:48.020 He came to us.

00:23:49.200 It's true, the Mother of God.

00:23:50.940 He's the mystical head of the body, right?

00:23:53.460 Christ.

00:23:54.120 He's the head.

00:23:55.480 Those that are baptized in the church are the body, but what connects the body to the

00:23:59.160 head?

00:23:59.560 The neck.

00:24:00.080 So, she's the nexus.

00:24:01.980 And so, when we give ourself to her as her possession and property, she does not lose

00:24:07.040 what belongs to her.

00:24:08.660 She does not.

00:24:10.140 And you do that.

00:24:11.340 And so, you renew that consecration every day.

00:24:14.000 You wear the brown scapula.

00:24:15.680 You never take it off.

00:24:17.280 As a matter of fact, when I take a shower, I have a bunch of cheap scapulas.

00:24:22.400 They didn't cost much, but they hang on my hook there, and I switch my good one to that,

00:24:27.180 because I ain't getting caught without it.

00:24:28.940 Because our lady doesn't fool around. 1.00

00:24:30.380 When she says something, she means it.

00:24:32.760 She says, those that die with this scapula will not perish, will not go to hell.

00:24:39.500 And some priests, I don't know why they do it.

00:24:41.300 They put all these conditions on it.

00:24:42.880 Yeah.

00:24:43.080 If you're going to wear the scapula with contempt and say, well, I'm going to do this and still

00:24:47.420 sin, believe me, you will not die with that on.

00:24:50.400 And there's stories about that.

00:24:52.100 And I could tell you, like, one story is a true story.

00:24:54.740 There was, like, seven men that were going to be court-martialed, capital punishment.

00:24:58.660 And the priest came, and he got them to put the scapula.

00:25:03.840 There was one man that really didn't want it, but he finally accepted it.

00:25:07.880 But he really didn't want it.

00:25:09.160 So when they shot these men, they all died with the scapula.

00:25:12.460 But that one that didn't want it, guess what?

00:25:15.360 The scapula was on the floor.

00:25:17.060 It wasn't on him.

00:25:19.100 There's another story of a man that wanted to kill himself, commit suicide, and he tried

00:25:24.120 to drown himself.

00:25:25.480 And he's in the water, and he's going down, but he keeps coming up, keeps coming up.

00:25:30.840 And he said, and three times he goes down.

00:25:33.760 He can't, what's going on?

00:25:35.100 He had the scapula on, ripped it off, and guess what happened, John?

00:25:39.320 He drowned. 0.95

00:25:40.320 And he went to hell, probably, without doubt. 0.98

00:25:42.480 So we're that brown scapula.

00:25:44.880 And when you're tempted, you call on Our Lady, St. Alphonse, the next thing with Our Lady.

00:25:49.700 When you're tempted, especially in purity, any sin, if you call on Our Lady promptly,

00:25:54.900 he says it's an infallible sign that you will not fall.

00:25:57.740 When you call on the mother of God, she comes.

00:25:59.780 She's a loving mother.

00:26:01.660 See, Our Lord, His role is mercy and justice.

00:26:05.100 But Our Lady's role is pure mercy. 0.97

00:26:08.100 St. Lucifer Moffat says, if you have one hair sticking out of hell and you call on Our Lady,

00:26:12.920 she'll yank you out. 1.00

00:26:14.600 Yank you out.

00:26:15.400 Even the little hairs here, which you can't see because I'm bald, she will yank you out 0.99

00:26:20.340 of hell. 0.74

00:26:21.180 She won't, you won't go there.

00:26:22.960 So that's the next thing.

00:26:25.100 Pray to Our Lady, too, to give you the disposition that you would rather die in the state of sanctifying

00:26:32.300 grace than ever commit that sin again. 0.85

00:26:35.420 And she'll give it to you.

00:26:37.680 And then the next thing is, every night before you go to bed, kneel down.

00:26:42.220 We used to do this in the friary all the time, and I still recommend it.

00:26:46.040 On your knees and put your fingertips under your knees.

00:26:50.200 So all your weights on your fingertips.

00:26:52.540 It hurts a little.

00:26:54.160 And pray, Dree Hail Mary is an honor of the Blessed Virgin for purity.

00:26:58.760 And believe me, it helps.

00:26:59.920 And you do these things, forget about it, I'm telling you, but we go on.

00:27:05.520 And you want to pray these things for us, and Our Lady will do it.

00:27:08.820 So call on our right away, and you'll be shocked what happens.

00:27:13.180 The next thing after that is, you must avoid all occasions of sin.

00:27:18.360 You know what occasion of sin is?

00:27:19.560 Any person, any circumstance that you fall.

00:27:24.140 So say you're an alcoholic.

00:27:25.460 When I come to my confession, I say, well, where do you drink?

00:27:29.780 So some guys say, well, I get off the train.

00:27:32.260 I always pass my favorite bar, and I go in there, and I get drunk.

00:27:35.280 So this is what we're going to do.

00:27:36.820 You've got to remove that occasion.

00:27:38.840 So I don't want you to get off the other side of the block and walk around.

00:27:44.000 Don't go past the bar.

00:27:45.140 You're removing that occasion.

00:27:46.420 So you must remove occasions.

00:27:48.000 If it's pornography, you must remove it.

00:27:50.840 Our Lord says, you know, if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out.

00:27:54.720 If you're, you know, it goes on and on.

00:27:57.280 If your eye causes you to sin, cut it off.

00:27:58.840 Better enter heaven, one less eye, one less arm, than enter Gehenna, which is hell, which 0.98

00:28:03.300 is your whole body.

00:28:04.600 And our Lord says, don't worry about those that could do harm for your body, but worry

00:28:08.080 about those that could cast your soul into, that could destroy your soul.

00:28:12.320 So you have to, this is so important.

00:28:15.620 So St. Alphonse teaches, when you find yourself, if all of a sudden you realize you're an occasion

00:28:21.100 of sin, say you keep falling with a particular person, you have to avoid that person like

00:28:26.140 the plague.

00:28:27.280 And if you do see that person, he says, you must flee the occasion instantly, because if

00:28:33.520 you delay, you will be defeated.

00:28:36.420 And this is important.

00:28:37.320 So, you know, so, but here's the thing, John 2, there's also necessary occasions of sin.

00:28:43.500 And a necessary occasion of sin is something that you can't avoid.

00:28:47.640 So say a man is at work and he's having an affair with a woman at work.

00:28:51.980 So now he can't quit that job.

00:28:54.040 He has to support his family, this or that.

00:28:56.460 And so what does he do?

00:28:57.740 He has to make that proximate occasion a remote occasion.

00:29:02.000 And so what he has to do is, I tell him, you avoid that woman. 0.99

00:29:05.240 You don't make it obvious, but you don't walk past her desk no more.

00:29:08.260 And so the priest has to find out what his occasion is, too, in the confessional, and

00:29:14.000 then help him and teach him how to avoid that occasion.

00:29:16.940 So that's the next thing.

00:29:18.180 Avoid all occasions.

00:29:19.300 The next thing is to find a good, holy confessor, a confessor that had zeal for souls, a zeal

00:29:26.140 for souls.

00:29:26.920 Not some confessor that, you know, bless me if I have sinned, you know, I helped a woman

00:29:32.420 have abortion.

00:29:33.280 And they tell me, Father, the priest, I was scandalized.

00:29:35.700 He gives me three Hail Marys for helping a woman have abortion. 0.99

00:29:39.040 You know, so the priest has to apply the proper remedies.

00:29:43.740 And so when someone commits a mortal sin, you have to give them proper, the remedy has

00:29:47.540 to be good enough, strong enough to root up that vice.

00:29:51.780 Now, St. Alphonse teaches the confessor, too, that you have to be careful because if I

00:29:56.480 have a man, an habitual sinner is not a recidivist.

00:29:59.300 So habitual is someone who's been in sin for a long time, not even confessing.

00:30:04.420 And so sometimes you could give them, you want to give them absolution, but sometimes

00:30:10.240 they can't even, you can't give them absolution where it'll be overwhelmed.

00:30:15.060 So you say, okay, can you do, if it's really bad stuff, at least a rosary or two or three.

00:30:21.380 And then you could give them, St. Alphonse says, a twofold penance.

00:30:26.380 One, A is mandatory.

00:30:28.500 B is recommended.

00:30:30.160 And I make sure they understand.

00:30:32.420 So I recommend you're going to do three rosaries, the whole road.

00:30:36.520 That's the whole rosary, the joyful, sorrowful, and glorious.

00:30:40.720 But I also recommend part B.

00:30:43.740 And part B could be do the Stations of the Cross, do a half-hour mental prayer.

00:30:48.040 But it's not mandatory, but recommended.

00:30:50.200 And so you want a confessor that knows these things, and you pray, you pray to your Blessed

00:30:57.160 Mother, please lead me to a priest who will help me, not help me to continue to sin, a

00:31:04.800 priest that takes sin serious.

00:31:07.060 And, you know, St. Alphonse says, you never yell at a penitent in a confessional.

00:31:10.300 The only time you have to get strong with a penitent is if they mock the sacrament.

00:31:13.520 And in almost 27 years, that's only happened to me twice, where somebody came in and mocked

00:31:18.600 the sacrament and was really a bad person, gone and everything.

00:31:23.120 But that's rare.

00:31:24.480 So you want to help them.

00:31:26.400 And then St. Alphonse says this to the confessor, which is tough.

00:31:29.880 He says, so if a man says, well, that's kind of hard.

00:31:33.540 I don't think I could do that.

00:31:34.520 So you give him what he could do.

00:31:36.340 And then St. Alphonse says the priest should make up for his penitent.

00:31:41.740 That's a real shepherd.

00:31:43.520 That the priest should then take this soul and do penance for him.

00:31:47.860 And so this is why you have to read the doctors and fathers of the church, because they lead

00:31:52.640 us.

00:31:52.840 They know.

00:31:53.240 They got direct line to God, wisdom.

00:31:55.600 They teach us how to do these things.

00:31:57.380 And St. Alphonse, I'll hold up this book.

00:31:59.780 Every priest should get this.

00:32:01.620 It's called An English Guide of Confessors.

00:32:04.420 You can get this on Amazon.

00:32:06.120 And there's another book, John.

00:32:07.380 I think I've mentioned this to you before, but this one is gold, too.

00:32:11.060 It's called Counselors to Confessors by St. Leonard of Port Maurice, who was one of the

00:32:17.440 greatest confessors in the church.

00:32:19.860 St. John Vianney said that he did not become a good confessor until he studied this practice.

00:32:29.000 And so, you know, I'm a very simple man.

00:32:32.580 I'm not a theologian.

00:32:33.660 But when I read that, that John Vianney said that, and I knew he was one of the greatest

00:32:38.200 confessors.

00:32:38.880 And then St. Pio, guess what?

00:32:40.520 He only followed St. Alphonse in the Confession.

00:32:43.380 I said, that's a no brainer, my friend.

00:32:45.740 I want to walk in the footsteps of St. Pio and St. John Vianney and set these souls free.

00:32:53.060 Because it's such a joyful thing, even as a priest, when these sinners come in and you

00:32:58.740 could really help them.

00:33:00.380 Because, you know, I'm not proud of the life I live.

00:33:03.300 I was in bondage, John, 17 years.

00:33:05.780 And then it was unbelievable.

00:33:08.600 And I'll tell you a personal story.

00:33:10.480 It's right after my confession.

00:33:12.380 I didn't have, when I came back, I didn't have no temptations for four months, not one.

00:33:17.420 And I was a wicked sinner.

00:33:19.160 And then all of a sudden I had a fall and I was beating myself up and I wanted to go to

00:33:23.580 communion, but I couldn't.

00:33:25.220 And so I went to this church, a Franciscan church one day.

00:33:28.140 And it was this big priest.

00:33:29.500 He was a big boy.

00:33:30.660 And he's up there preaching beautiful on the Blessed Mother.

00:33:33.980 And he's walked.

00:33:34.880 And so I waited for him because he didn't get in the confessional before.

00:33:38.700 And I said, all of a sudden this guy, you know, I said, Father, and this guy, it was

00:33:42.580 from God.

00:33:43.180 He looked at me and he was strong.

00:33:45.180 He goes, you know what your problem is?

00:33:47.240 He goes, you're going, you're jumping around from confessing to confessing.

00:33:50.520 He goes, get in the sacristy.

00:33:52.400 And I was so happy.

00:33:54.020 I said, this boy's serious.

00:33:55.780 This guy's going to help me.

00:33:56.820 And I went with him in the sack.

00:33:58.500 He says, listen, my son.

00:33:59.900 He was like a lamb then.

00:34:01.020 And because St. John Viennich said, be a lion in the pulpit, but a lamb in the confession.

00:34:05.200 He goes, your problem is you're going to confess.

00:34:07.620 You go to pray to the Blessed Mother to find you a confessor, a steady one, and you will

00:34:12.320 not fall.

00:34:13.480 And guess what?

00:34:14.220 I prayed.

00:34:14.920 A lady led me to a passionist priest.

00:34:17.320 And every Friday after work, it was the highlight of my week.

00:34:20.860 I'd run to that monastery.

00:34:22.500 And I have an appointment with my confessor.

00:34:25.020 And that changed my whole life.

00:34:27.240 And I remember I was buried one time too, you know, because I, you know, I told my father,

00:34:32.240 I'm getting hammered with temptations, like unbelievable.

00:34:35.180 First four months, nothing.

00:34:36.840 And he, and he told me something that I never forgot.

00:34:39.440 And it helps me to this day.

00:34:41.480 And it helps other people.

00:34:42.800 I'm going to tell you men this.

00:34:44.120 So he said to me this, he goes, my son, he goes, every time you said no to God and yes

00:34:49.560 to the devil, God will give you a chance to reverse that.

00:34:55.140 Like when St. Peter, when after the resurrection, he denied our Lord three times.

00:35:00.740 And, and when, and when he went to Peter, he said, Peter, do you love me after the resurrection?

00:35:05.340 You remember that?

00:35:05.840 He goes, yes, Lord.

00:35:07.080 Peter, do you love, Lord, you know all things.

00:35:09.640 Do you love me?

00:35:10.480 Yeah.

00:35:10.840 Peter, do you?

00:35:11.620 Yes, Lord, I love you.

00:35:12.920 He goes, those three acts of affirming that he loved God did reparation for the three denials.

00:35:20.560 So to me, I really think that helps souls when you know that you're getting tempted to say,

00:35:26.640 Hey, I know what's going on now.

00:35:28.160 I'm going to prove my love for God that we have to have that attitude.

00:35:31.260 We'd rather die than offend God.

00:35:34.280 So that was, that was the greatest blessing.

00:35:37.700 Steady confessor, but it's hard today to get them.

00:35:40.540 But if you prayed our Lord, our Lord says he'd give you your heart's desire.

00:35:44.560 If your heart's desire is something holy and good for your salvation, he'll give it to you.

00:35:49.320 He will give it to you and, and even pray for a good, uh, spiritual director.

00:35:55.460 And, you know, it's very hard to find one, but if you pray for it, I believe God when he,

00:36:01.800 he doesn't fool around, I will give you your heart's desire.

00:36:05.440 And, and if you think you want that, he will give you.

00:36:08.040 So that's, that's one of them confession, steady confession, and then good spiritual direction.

00:36:13.300 The next one is, and to go to confession regularly, John, uh, the church teaches you only have to

00:36:20.840 make a confession, uh, if you're a mortal sin, you don't put it off.

00:36:25.520 It's a mortal sin to delay your confession.

00:36:28.120 I tell people in the missions all the time.

00:36:30.080 I said, if you fell in a mortal sin, you go knock on that rectory door.

00:36:33.820 I don't care if it's two in the morning, that priest has an obligation to hear your confession.

00:36:38.040 And a good priest will be joyful.

00:36:39.900 I'll say, praise God, uh, you know, and, and you could tell him I sent you.

00:36:44.460 I said, and, but the bottom line is don't go to bed like that because you don't have

00:36:49.840 no guarantee that you're going to wake up.

00:36:52.260 God promised you that no matter how bad your sins are, he, he will forgive them.

00:36:57.000 If you have true contrition and your amendment of life and you go to confession to a priest

00:37:01.120 and get absolved, but he never guarantees us that we're going to get into the confession

00:37:05.740 of.

00:37:06.080 So, so many people commit the sin of presumption, John, so many of them.

00:37:10.680 And that's a really, that's a worst, one of the worst sins because it's against the first 1.00

00:37:14.120 commandment.

00:37:15.060 There's a hierarchy in the commandments one to 10.

00:37:17.780 And number one, the first three, when you sin, you offend directly God.

00:37:22.740 And then the next seven, you offend God and your neighbor.

00:37:25.940 But the worst one is number one.

00:37:28.180 So don't commit this sin of presumption.

00:37:30.100 Well, I'm going to go commit this sin.

00:37:33.040 And cause I know father will be in a confession tomorrow morning.

00:37:35.840 Don't do that.

00:37:36.940 And, and, and I'm jumping around.

00:37:39.020 I'm going into a little detail cause it's important, but I could give you a list that

00:37:43.280 you could put up on your website.

00:37:44.820 I'll send it to you.

00:37:45.980 We're going to be right there.

00:37:47.480 So I'll tell this story that I tell him the mission.

00:37:49.740 And I love this story.

00:37:50.740 I heard another priest.

00:37:51.580 It's a true story.

00:37:52.780 This, this diver, he was an, he was a championship diver.

00:37:57.440 And one night he went into the complex when it was closed and he didn't want, he didn't

00:38:02.860 want nobody to know he was in there.

00:38:04.240 So he opened up, he had a key.

00:38:06.140 He climbs up this high diving board.

00:38:07.880 He kept the lights off because he didn't want no one to know he was in there.

00:38:12.000 And there was a big skylight, but it was a cloudy night.

00:38:15.040 And so this moonlight wasn't coming through.

00:38:17.360 So he gets up on the diving board and he puts his back towards the pool.

00:38:22.020 He's going to do this back double, triple flip, whatever.

00:38:25.860 And he puts his arms out like, you know, straight out.

00:38:29.500 And all of a sudden the clouds must have cleared and the moonlight shined in and it reflected

00:38:35.860 across from his arm on the wall in front of him.

00:38:39.020 And he received the grace of God that time.

00:38:42.340 He said that when he saw that cross, he just got overwhelming sense of sorrow.

00:38:48.960 He said he dropped down to his knees and he begged God.

00:38:52.740 He said, please forgive me of the wicked life I'm leaving.

00:38:57.080 And he said he cried for a while, 10 minutes, because he really, and this is the grace of

00:39:01.200 God when he penetrates your soul.

00:39:02.760 If today you hear the voice of God, harden not your heart.

00:39:06.400 And he said after he promised God that he would go to confession, he was a Catholic.

00:39:11.340 And he got up and he put his arm out and he lift his right leg up and he was ready to make

00:39:18.120 this beautiful dive.

00:39:19.440 I'm sure he would have did a number 10, right?

00:39:21.700 And all of a sudden he heard the janitor came in and clicked the lights on.

00:39:27.180 And when the light went on, he looked down.

00:39:29.400 Guess what happened, John?

00:39:30.420 They had the pool drained.

00:39:31.700 They were doing maintenance on it.

00:39:34.760 So here it is.

00:39:35.840 If that man would have did that dive, when he saw that cross and God convicted him, if

00:39:41.820 he would have said, ah, I'm going to go out and have a good time and do what I'm always

00:39:44.540 doing and I'll put it off my conversion, he would have did this perfect dive, hit his 0.95

00:39:50.360 head and went straight to hell. 0.92

00:39:52.760 And so when I do the missions, I go, I pause and I point and it's no act.

00:39:57.900 I said, there's people here on their own diving board tonight.

00:40:01.700 Are you going to hear God's voice?

00:40:04.200 Are you going to submit or are you going to put it off?

00:40:07.280 And I said, do not leave here unless you go to confession.

00:40:10.840 And believe me, they come, John, and they come.

00:40:13.960 And so this is awesome stuff.

00:40:16.360 I'm telling you.

00:40:17.180 So that's it.

00:40:18.400 So the next thing, you know, avoid occasion sins, steady confession, spiritual directing,

00:40:23.080 pray for that.

00:40:23.860 The next one is meditation every day.

00:40:27.520 Even if it was only 15 minutes on one of the four last things, death, judgment.

00:40:32.760 There's two judgments, particular and general.

00:40:35.060 Hell and heaven.

00:40:38.160 And if you're a wicked sinner, I really recommend hell because the fear is the beginning of all 1.00

00:40:43.360 wisdom. 0.88

00:40:45.000 But that too, like that is one thing for sure.

00:40:47.460 You know, they say the only thing for sure is you pay tax and you die, right?

00:40:50.360 Yeah.

00:40:50.520 But the one thing for sure is that when we die, death takes place when our soul separates

00:40:56.000 from our body.

00:40:56.720 And I go over these talks in my missions that are online.

00:40:59.960 And when your soul separates, Jesus Christ comes and it's a judgment.

00:41:05.080 Don't fall for these.

00:41:06.100 There's so many pseudo mystics out there, false mystics.

00:41:09.740 And they come up with this stuff that once you die, you get to choose.

00:41:14.000 You want to go to heaven or hell.

00:41:15.180 That's heresy.

00:41:16.020 And that's not from God.

00:41:17.380 Because when you die, whatever state you're in, if you're in a state of sanctifying grace,

00:41:22.620 all is saved.

00:41:23.800 You may have to go to purgatory, but once you go to purgatory, you can never lose your

00:41:27.720 soul again.

00:41:28.740 That's when life really starts.

00:41:30.600 But if you're a mortal sin, mortal means death. 0.68

00:41:32.800 Your soul is dead.

00:41:33.920 It's the absence of God in your soul.

00:41:36.520 The Holy Trinity possesses our soul at baptism.

00:41:39.700 And when you commit a mortal sin, basically you're telling God, get out.

00:41:43.380 I don't want you.

00:41:44.960 I prefer pleasure over you.

00:41:47.380 I prefer this moment of pleasure than anything.

00:41:50.000 I don't care if I'm crucified, because that's what you do.

00:41:52.400 When you commit mortal sin, when we commit, we crucify Christ.

00:41:56.940 And so when you die from the particular judgment, and then your angel will be there.

00:42:04.160 What an awesome gift that God is so merciful.

00:42:06.920 That the minute we're conceived in our mother's womb, he assigns that angel to you to guide

00:42:12.060 you, to get you to heaven.

00:42:13.440 How many times we do some good things and we say, I can't believe that I even did it, because

00:42:17.980 your angel's inspiring you.

00:42:19.740 And your angel is on the job 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

00:42:24.540 He never leaves your side.

00:42:25.920 He gives an account of your life at the judgment.

00:42:28.800 If you're consecrated to our lady, she will be there and say, son, he's mine.

00:42:34.200 He's my possession, my property.

00:42:36.300 And he's yours.

00:42:37.900 And you will make it.

00:42:39.380 But if you're walking with the devil, the devil, as the saints say, will say, Lord, he is mine.

00:42:46.740 He has served me, not yours. 0.97

00:42:48.500 He belongs with me for eternity, not you.

00:42:50.500 And that's where you'll go. 1.00

00:42:51.360 You'll be cast to the pit of hell. 1.00

00:42:52.500 It's horrible, John.

00:42:54.000 And so when you're ready to sin, and if you're meditating every day, just say on that one

00:42:59.380 thing, man, you say, is it really worth it to go get drunk again or to go with this woman 0.97

00:43:04.440 or to look at porn?

00:43:06.120 No way.

00:43:07.260 And then the general judgment is at the end of the world.

00:43:10.720 And the general, there has to be two judgments.

00:43:12.720 Why?

00:43:13.080 Because we are both individuals, but we're part of society.

00:43:17.640 So we have to answer for our sins.

00:43:20.560 But when you do good works, you affect the whole mystical body in a beautiful way.

00:43:27.520 But when you sin, it has a negative effect on the mystical body.

00:43:31.780 So I know you're a good man, you're a husband.

00:43:34.940 How many children do you have, John?

00:43:36.300 Eight?

00:43:36.740 Eight, yeah.

00:43:37.580 Eight beautiful children.

00:43:38.840 So God gives you that child, right?

00:43:41.240 It's such an...

00:43:41.960 I tell parents, you better tremble at your judgment, just like I have to tremble, because

00:43:46.500 he gave you that soul.

00:43:48.020 Why?

00:43:48.520 To bring that soul up to be a saint, to bring that soul up to go to heaven, to glorify God

00:43:54.120 for eternity, which goes on forever.

00:43:57.520 And so you're either going to teach your son and daughters how to be saints or devils.

00:44:01.720 And all that evilness, if you teach them evil, can't be added up until the end of the world.

00:44:07.920 Well, all the good you do can't be added up until the end of the world.

00:44:12.760 Because look at my Holy Father, St. Francis.

00:44:15.120 You imagine how many souls at the...

00:44:17.700 It's over 800 years already.

00:44:19.320 As a matter of fact, this year, you could go to Assisi right now.

00:44:22.300 You could see his relics, his bones.

00:44:25.760 But how many souls were saved because St. Francis, one man, said yes to God?

00:44:32.820 One man.

00:44:34.680 Because he said yes.

00:44:35.840 How many men became priests, brothers?

00:44:38.500 How many nuns entered the cloistered Franciscan nuns, beautiful nuns? 0.99

00:44:42.280 I call them the Navy SEALs of the church, the cloistered nuns. 0.76

00:44:45.320 God never says no to his spouse.

00:44:48.060 I mean, how much good do these people...

00:44:50.420 St. Francis is going to get all that merit at the end of the world.

00:44:54.060 And so...

00:44:54.740 And there's no...

00:44:55.260 We always say there's no justice in this world.

00:44:57.460 I think we all can realize that.

00:44:59.100 Just look at what we're living in.

00:45:00.940 But at the end of the world, all the scales will be all level.

00:45:06.400 And St. Leonard of Port Maurice, I recommend he has the few of the numbers saved.

00:45:11.280 It's unbelievable.

00:45:12.420 Read that.

00:45:13.320 St. Peter of Alcantara, one of my favorite Franciscan saints.

00:45:16.960 He...

00:45:17.440 In my missions, I read directly from him what the judgment will be like.

00:45:20.920 And all the saints say, and this is not defeated, but all the saints say in the scripture says,

00:45:26.020 at the end of the world, all human beings that were ever created, their bodies will be reunited.

00:45:34.640 Those on the left will be the reprobates going to hell. 0.98

00:45:37.480 And their bodies are so wicked, so wicked and disgusting, that St. Bonaventure says, 0.99

00:45:42.880 if a body of one of the dam would come on earth, just the side of it alone, you'd have a heart attack and die. 0.94

00:45:49.680 So the stench alone of one soul in hell, you would die from the stench.

00:45:54.560 But they're all going to be on the left.

00:45:56.300 And those going to heaven, the just are going to be on the right.

00:46:00.160 All the sins of the wicked will be revealed like a big movie screen picture.

00:46:05.160 Imagine all the sins.

00:46:06.680 I wouldn't want my sins, God forbid, shown to the whole world.

00:46:11.260 That's...

00:46:11.580 They will be.

00:46:12.140 And some say, some of the most agree that the elect sins will not be shown.

00:46:18.240 But if they are shown, it will bring joy to them because they overcame their sins through the grace of God.

00:46:24.940 So when you meditate upon this, what do you want to be?

00:46:27.660 One of the goats on the left or on the right?

00:46:29.600 You want all your...

00:46:30.360 That's why you don't want to go to confession and confess to a priest who's in the confession of his persona Christi.

00:46:35.640 That's Jesus Christ, a direct encounter with him.

00:46:38.260 He knows all your sins, but he wants you to confess them.

00:46:41.940 And then when you're absolved, that's it.

00:46:44.800 He forgets them as far as east from the west.

00:46:47.400 And that's why the devil, if your sins are not confessed, he knows them.

00:46:50.960 And that's why when priests do do exorcism, and I was an exorcist for a while, that you...

00:46:56.620 Anybody that has to help, they have to hold a person down, whatever, you always have to tell them,

00:47:00.640 you must go to confession because if you don't, the devil will reveal your sins in there.

00:47:05.100 And it happens.

00:47:05.940 And it's embarrassing.

00:47:06.780 But this is the thing.

00:47:08.480 So you meditate upon that.

00:47:10.340 And then you got hell.

00:47:11.720 And hell is...

00:47:13.440 I really recommend that if you're living a wicked life.

00:47:18.260 One of my favorite books is Josefa Mendes.

00:47:20.840 Have you ever heard of her?

00:47:22.320 No.

00:47:22.540 She was a Spanish nun, and she wrote a book called The Way of Divine Love.

00:47:26.680 This nun, she should be a saint.

00:47:29.340 She is a victim soul. 0.85

00:47:30.800 And when she entered religious life, this is true.

00:47:34.140 God used to physically send her to hell, John, to make reparation for priests so that they wouldn't go to hell, especially priests.

00:47:43.160 And so her superiors didn't believe her.

00:47:46.580 So one day, they came into her cell.

00:47:49.160 Your cell is your room, right?

00:47:50.960 And one superior, the mother superior is on her right, and the vicar was on her left.

00:47:56.180 And they're sitting, and they're basically telling her in a nice way, you know, you're probably damaged psychologically.

00:48:03.120 You're making this up.

00:48:04.340 And guess what happened, John?

00:48:05.720 It was documented.

00:48:06.980 She was gone.

00:48:08.260 She disappeared.

00:48:10.200 They got nervous.

00:48:11.720 She was not there between them.

00:48:13.660 And she started praying.

00:48:15.040 They were praying the rosary.

00:48:16.380 I forgot how long it was.

00:48:17.540 You could read it in the book.

00:48:18.620 But all of a sudden, she comes back.

00:48:21.360 Her habit's on fire.

00:48:22.620 Flames shooting up.

00:48:23.580 The stench itself was so bad, they had to run out of the room because they were going to vomit.

00:48:27.480 So they knew she wasn't lying.

00:48:29.260 So she's going to hell all the time on a regular basis to make reparation. 1.00

00:48:33.260 And she describes hell.

00:48:34.680 It is horrible, John.

00:48:36.480 Horrible.

00:48:37.680 And so guess what happened?

00:48:39.480 She got, after a while, she goes, Jesus, I don't want to go to hell no more.

00:48:43.320 Please don't send me there.

00:48:44.580 I can't.

00:48:45.080 So guess what?

00:48:46.000 Jesus didn't talk to her for two weeks.

00:48:47.720 And then she begged forgiveness.

00:48:49.800 Okay, I'm sorry.

00:48:50.760 I'll go back if you want.

00:48:52.800 And in four years, he burnt her out.

00:48:55.120 She died.

00:48:56.460 In my missions, I read from saints that had visions of St. Veronica Juliana, a great Capuchin saint who had all the wounds of Christ.

00:49:04.960 And she went before the Inquisition back then.

00:49:07.240 And she was vindicated because she was a holy soul.

00:49:10.100 She describes hell.

00:49:11.780 And guess what?

00:49:12.500 So one time I was doing a mission.

00:49:14.740 And after the mission, the priest called me.

00:49:17.180 He goes, Father, I got to tell you a story.

00:49:18.720 I said, what?

00:49:19.580 He goes, when you did your mission, there was this one at our parishioners.

00:49:23.820 She's a very devout soul.

00:49:25.360 And her son was living a wicked life. 0.79

00:49:27.500 He was a drug dealer and a drug addict. 0.95

00:49:29.420 And she begged him. 0.77

00:49:31.060 She said, would you go at least one night to the mission?

00:49:34.940 And guess what night he ended up coming in on?

00:49:37.600 Hell.

00:49:38.740 And when I did the mission, I used to tell the priest, when you put the schedule up, on Wednesday night, the third night, I usually do hell.

00:49:48.340 I said, but put heaven up.

00:49:49.640 I tricked them, you know.

00:49:50.640 And so they come in, John, and they're shocked.

00:49:56.620 And people will call me, say, Father, my little, I got five, six-year-olds.

00:50:01.820 Should I bring them for hell?

00:50:03.120 I said, mother knows best. 0.99

00:50:04.440 What do you mean?

00:50:04.940 I said, the Blessed Virgin showed hell to Jacinta. 1.00

00:50:07.560 She's my favorite.

00:50:09.040 Little Jacinta, six years old.

00:50:11.140 After she saw that vision of hell, she was thought of nothing but doing mortifications and penances.

00:50:17.580 Those Fatimas, the seers of Fatima, are unbelievable. 1.00

00:50:20.820 She was scourging herself in the hospital when she was dying of blood.

00:50:23.900 Our lady said, no, I don't want you doing that. 1.00

00:50:26.180 This is how she was on fire. 0.66

00:50:27.860 Those children, when they used to go every morning to take their flock of sheep up into the mountains in Portugal, it gets very hot.

00:50:35.060 I'm sure you've been there in the summer.

00:50:36.500 It's really hot.

00:50:37.620 They would give their little lunch away to the other children.

00:50:40.580 They wouldn't drink no water.

00:50:42.260 And Jacinta, they would all say, for the salvation of souls, for the salvation of souls, for the salvation of souls.

00:50:48.100 So in Fatima, we see hell.

00:50:50.460 The third vision, their faces were all distorted.

00:50:53.320 They were beautiful children.

00:50:55.160 They looked like monsters.

00:50:56.380 And then we knew when it was revealed.

00:50:57.640 What happened when our lady opened her arms? 0.72

00:50:59.960 The earth opened up, and that's where hell is.

00:51:02.780 And they saw all our souls falling into hell like leaves falling off the tree in autumn, like snowflakes falling down.

00:51:09.320 And what we shouldn't want, no one to go to hell.

00:51:13.160 No one.

00:51:13.700 Because Christ shed his blood for every soul to the last drop.

00:51:18.120 And if you love God, we don't want nobody.

00:51:20.340 Even our worst enemies, we've got to pray for.

00:51:22.900 And this is the beauty.

00:51:23.820 And why is the Vatican suppression in Fatima?

00:51:28.200 John XXIII said, we're not the church of doom no more.

00:51:31.680 This is nonsense.

00:51:32.780 That meditation on hell keeps you out of hell.

00:51:35.500 So many people tell me, Father, you scared the hell out of me.

00:51:37.920 I said, that's the whole purpose.

00:51:39.080 Praise God.

00:51:40.200 And so listen to what happened.

00:51:42.240 And so he goes, so that man came in to see the Father after the mission.

00:51:48.460 He said, a couple of days later, he goes, Father, you're not going to believe what happened.

00:51:51.720 I came that night when that priest preached on hell.

00:51:55.000 And let me tell you, everything he said is true and a thousand times worse.

00:52:00.160 That's what all the saints that went to hell say.

00:52:02.080 Nobody could describe hell properly.

00:52:04.100 It's so wicked.

00:52:05.540 And he said, everything, I was sitting in my bed and I wasn't doing, I wasn't high.

00:52:10.620 I wasn't doing drugs, no alcohol.

00:52:13.100 And the next thing I know, he goes, I'm in hell.

00:52:17.200 Everything that priest said, I experienced it.

00:52:19.860 And he goes, and I thought I was lost forever.

00:52:22.100 And then finally I came back.

00:52:23.740 I was in my room again.

00:52:26.100 It's real, John.

00:52:27.500 It's real.

00:52:28.220 But that boy walked straight.

00:52:29.420 He had a conversion.

00:52:30.380 This is awesome.

00:52:31.460 So when you're living a wicked life and you meditate upon hell, like St. Alphonse has a book called Preparation for Death.

00:52:39.020 In there, he covers the four last things.

00:52:40.680 That's where I get all my stuff from. 0.99

00:52:42.560 I'm too stupid to come up with this on my own. 0.98

00:52:45.060 And, you know, but when people hear that, it moves souls. 1.00

00:52:48.300 It moves, you know.

00:52:49.560 And Father Kochem, he was a great Franciscan.

00:52:53.680 He has a book, Tant Cells, The Four Last Things.

00:52:56.280 Get that book.

00:52:57.720 All the, you know, you read the great saints.

00:52:59.680 They all have meditations on hell.

00:53:01.780 So that is meditate upon that.

00:53:04.320 And then the best talk, I believe, is the last talk.

00:53:08.200 It's heaven.

00:53:09.620 And heaven is, that's what we're created for.

00:53:12.280 So many people have the wrong impression of God that he's this mean, tiring up there, just wanting to punish us.

00:53:18.580 No, not at all.

00:53:20.400 He's there, you know.

00:53:22.560 He wants us in heaven more than we want to be in heaven.

00:53:26.080 But, you know, I don't know about you, John Henry.

00:53:28.460 How many times do you hear Catholics talk about heaven?

00:53:30.460 Not lots.

00:53:32.640 In fact, it's out of the catechism.

00:53:34.180 When I read through the Roman catechism, I did a show on heaven because I was like, whoa, this is incredible.

00:53:40.560 All sorts of awesome details about what's going to happen to us in heaven.

00:53:44.440 Yeah.

00:53:44.700 So like St. Paul says, look at the Greeks, the Olympians.

00:53:48.960 They deny their bodies.

00:53:51.260 They train constantly for what?

00:53:53.040 A crown of flowers that wither.

00:53:55.520 But our crown is eternal.

00:53:57.040 How much more should we, you know, train ourselves in the spiritual battle, in penance?

00:54:03.000 We have to do penance, John.

00:54:04.800 Christ put the conditions to be his disciple.

00:54:08.980 You must deny yourself, pick up your cross, and follow him. 0.97

00:54:12.000 Follow him where? 0.59

00:54:12.920 To Calvary to be crucified.

00:54:14.920 You know, I was amazed years ago when I was, you know, you read about Abraham where he was told to sacrifice his son Isaac.

00:54:21.520 You know what I found out?

00:54:22.640 I didn't, years ago, I didn't know it because I was reading the commentaries.

00:54:25.880 When I want to know about scripture, what it means, I go to the fathers of the church and the doctors.

00:54:31.500 And guess what?

00:54:32.340 Isaac was 33 years old.

00:54:34.160 I thought he was a little boy when I first, when I read it on my own.

00:54:37.060 But he was Christ's age.

00:54:38.480 Christ went to the cross at 33.

00:54:41.520 And so, and this is the beauty, you know, and, and, you know, when you read these things.

00:54:46.340 But anyway, so when you start meditating upon heaven, we have to have goals.

00:54:51.160 We have to know there is a reward for us.

00:54:53.180 God has prepared a place for us in heaven.

00:54:56.060 And if you don't know this thing, you know, it will help you to overcome many sins because all the trials and tribulations that we go through, our body, our body is dying every moment that we're brought into this world.

00:55:08.440 So, and, but, you know, and, and what helped you get drew?

00:55:12.180 You know, I had such bad arthritis and getting two artificial knees.

00:55:16.020 We all know pain.

00:55:17.020 But in heaven, when you, there's four qualities to a glorified body.

00:55:22.940 In heaven, there'll be no pain.

00:55:25.240 You know, you don't have to go on a diet no more, ladies. 1.00

00:55:28.120 Not only ladies, men. 0.95

00:55:29.720 You know, you know, I got no hair.

00:55:31.080 You're going to have a perfect body.

00:55:32.620 Most of the deologians say the age of Christ is 33.

00:55:35.540 You know, in heaven, you know, your body will have the gift of agility, which means it could travel at a distance in a second.

00:55:45.020 So, heaven is a place.

00:55:47.840 It's beautiful.

00:55:49.140 You read in the Revelation, the book of Apocalypse.

00:55:51.820 It's a city of gold and jewels.

00:55:54.260 And there's walls.

00:55:55.500 There's mountains.

00:55:56.280 And so, in heaven, when, like, say right now, if I wanted to be in Italy, the minute I think of your body will travel at distance faster than a speed and bullet, faster than a jet, and you'll be there.

00:56:09.240 And then, you know, you're not going to be, so I always say to people, why, oh, God, he's given us these gifts.

00:56:13.860 It's going to bring a lot of joy, and I wish I had them now.

00:56:17.100 And so, when we start studying these things, and then the joy of heaven, like, our senses, and everything on hell is the exact opposite.

00:56:25.380 Hell is a wicked place.

00:56:28.000 And I go to all, in hell, your body committed sins, but also your soul, the three faculties of your soul, memory, will, and understand.

00:56:38.060 And so, you will be tortured in your senses and in your body.

00:56:42.960 That's why the pain of the fire in hell is St. Anthony Mary Clara, another great saint.

00:56:49.180 Do you know about him?

00:56:49.900 This guy was so great that for the last seven years of his life, when he received the Eucharist, the Eucharist would stay present for 24 hours.

00:56:59.500 When he would walk in Rome, rays would be coming out of his church.

00:57:02.580 People would genuflect because they knew he was carrying the body of Christ.

00:57:06.700 You've got to see him describe hell.

00:57:08.300 He says the souls in hell, they're like fish in a fish tank in water, surrounded by fire.

00:57:13.560 The fire coming out of their mouth, their ears, their nose, the very, going through the marrow of their bones.

00:57:20.920 I mean, picture that, because that's what it's like.

00:57:24.980 But in heaven, it's the opposite.

00:57:27.660 So in hell, for every time you use your eyes to look at porn and wicked things, your eyes will be tortured by the smoke in your eyes.

00:57:35.660 And it will be tortured. 0.98

00:57:37.460 You talk to firemen, anyone in a fire, you get smoke in your eyes, it drives you nuts.

00:57:42.200 Okay?

00:57:42.920 You will be suffering like that.

00:57:44.460 You'll have pins and needles in your eyes, all these things.

00:57:47.280 I could go on and on.

00:57:48.600 Your ears, for all the time you listen to impure jokes, bad music, you're going to hear the screams of hell, your fellow companions being tortured by the demons.

00:57:58.560 You're hearing hissing of snakes, thunder of lightning.

00:58:00.800 You'll hear everyone blaspheming, he says, Satan blasphemes, and then all the souls blaspheme God, because they hate him.

00:58:07.460 Your memory will be tortured, because you'll remember all the graces that God gave you, and all you had to do is say yes and cooperate, and you didn't.

00:58:14.880 You'll curse the Blessed Virgin Mary, who was mediatrix of all graces, who gave you all the graces.

00:58:20.200 All you had to do is give yourself to her, and it will torture you in your memory, because in hell, it goes on forever.

00:58:27.160 We have no concept of what eternity means, because we're finite beings, John.

00:58:33.520 And so, you know, so one father of the church says this, he goes, picture the oceans, right?

00:58:38.680 The three quarters of the world is made up of water, right?

00:58:42.820 And we know some of the depths are over 10,000 feet deep, right, in the ocean.

00:58:47.240 He goes, just imagine, empty all the oceans, and one drop of water a year, he said.

00:58:53.880 How long, make believe that drop wouldn't evaporate.

00:58:56.900 How long would it take to fill up all the oceans?

00:59:00.700 He goes, guess what happens?

00:59:02.500 Eventually, it will happen.

00:59:04.400 And eternity is, once it's filled up, empty in, and start all over.

00:59:07.620 He goes, the souls in hell would happily suffer that pain of all those years with that one drop of water,

00:59:15.860 if they knew they could get out, but they know they'll never get out, so they despair.

00:59:19.080 Now, in heaven, the exact opposite, when you protected your eyes, because your eyes are the window to your soul,

00:59:25.420 and you practice custody of eyes, that's one of the next things, practice custody of eyes,

00:59:30.820 because your eyes, it's like a camera, a computer.

00:59:34.200 Once you see something with your eyes, it's stored there forever, and the devils, the demons, can bring that up to you.

00:59:40.500 But in heaven, it will be glorified.

00:59:42.320 Your eyes are going to be filled with joy by the beauty of heaven.

00:59:45.580 I live up in the mountains here, and it's so beautiful just seeing the sun rise and set,

00:59:52.060 and you could see the glory, because God gave that star so that we'll reflect on his beauty.

00:59:57.260 But in heaven, it's going to blow your mind.

00:59:59.860 St. John of the Cross says there's flowers in heaven that he's seen,

01:00:03.460 that nothing on earth exists like that, and just one flower will bring you joy.

01:00:08.180 In heaven, your ears will be glorified with the sound.

01:00:11.440 You're going to hear all the saints and angels singing praises to God.

01:00:15.880 Imagine in heaven, you're going to walk with the Blessed Virgin.

01:00:18.600 Imagine the praises that she sings to the Holy Trinity, and you'll be singing with her.

01:00:23.780 And I always tell people when I go to churches, I say, you know, when you people sing,

01:00:27.420 and I was cringing over those kind of, most people don't have a good voice,

01:00:30.720 but in heaven, you'll have a voice better than Andre Bocelli, you know,

01:00:34.320 and you'll be singing with all the angels and saints.

01:00:36.640 So it gives us something to look forward to, you know, and it's just mind-boggling.

01:00:42.020 You'll never get sick, you know, you'll never die in heaven.

01:00:44.680 It's over.

01:00:45.740 You will want for nothing every day.

01:00:47.860 And in heaven, the greatest thing with your sight is you're going to see Jesus Christ,

01:00:51.580 because he's in heaven with his body.

01:00:53.820 He still has a body, and he has all the wounds, but they're glorified in heaven

01:00:57.520 as a constant reminder that because of his wounds, we are able to be there with him.

01:01:03.380 And so all I can tell you is, I mean, it's an awesome meditation.

01:01:08.060 I encourage Catholics because, John, you deal with this, and I give you credit,

01:01:12.880 and you're doing a good job.

01:01:14.120 You know, it's not easy to expose truth.

01:01:16.980 It's not easy to deal with these ugly things, but we can't shuffle it, sweep it under the rug, you know.

01:01:22.400 We have to face him, but it's hard, you know, so we need to be strengthened.

01:01:27.100 We have to know that there's a purpose, that when God allows evil,

01:01:30.460 when God allows heresy, he brings a greater good out of it.

01:01:33.660 But all these things are going to give us a greater heaven, a joy in heaven.

01:01:37.500 And I tell people, too, you know, we must store our treasure in heaven.

01:01:42.780 Look, you know, look in the gospel, and the man, he's filled up his silos, right?

01:01:46.680 After he finished, he goes, now I can rest.

01:01:49.280 They're all full. 0.99

01:01:49.960 And our Lord said, you fool, tonight I will come for your soul. 0.99

01:01:53.240 So we want to store up our merit in heaven. 0.99

01:01:56.280 And then when you can't get married when you're in mortal sin, you can't.

01:02:00.840 But when you're in a state of sanctifying grace, you get merit for every good thing you do.

01:02:06.220 And so we have to be, if you're cognizant of this, you're going to say, man, I want to accumulate this merit.

01:02:13.460 And the more merit you get, you know how awesome God is, John?

01:02:17.160 One of the things that blows my mind, St. Alphonse and the church teach, is that when you commit a mortal sin,

01:02:21.940 say you didn't commit no sin for 40, 50 years, and you accumulated tons of merit.

01:02:27.640 When you commit a mortal sin, John, you lose all your merit.

01:02:30.920 So say you had a bank account with $2 billion.

01:02:34.380 Now you've got zero.

01:02:36.500 But you know how awesome God is?

01:02:38.140 Because he wants us to come back to him.

01:02:41.340 When you come and make a confession, John, all your sins are forgiven.

01:02:45.500 You know what he does?

01:02:46.320 The time that you were in mortal sin, you didn't accumulate nothing.

01:02:49.080 So if you're a mortal sin for two days and you could be the biggest philanthropist in the world,

01:02:54.060 feed the whole world, you get no merit for it.

01:02:56.880 But, and if it's for 50 years, but guess what?

01:02:59.360 Once you confess all the merit that you lost, God restores.

01:03:03.720 He gives you that, he gives it all back to you.

01:03:06.300 And so in these times, I encourage people, we got to know these things and we got to meditate upon them.

01:03:13.640 And it will help us walk the straight path.

01:03:17.080 And, and, and, you know, you don't want to be the dog that goes back to his vomit because all these people entrenched in vice.

01:03:22.960 And I was there for 17 years.

01:03:24.400 It tortured me.

01:03:25.620 And I remember one day when I went down on my knees, I said, Lord, I can't take this.

01:03:30.400 I'm begging you.

01:03:31.060 Come.

01:03:31.280 I can't do it on my own.

01:03:33.060 I need you to help me.

01:03:34.480 I don't want to live this way no more.

01:03:36.860 And he gave me the grace because there's that scripture in Matthew 7, 7 to 11.

01:03:41.120 And he knocked and the door shall be opened.

01:03:44.180 Seek and you shall find.

01:03:45.440 I said, Lord, I'm knocking.

01:03:47.300 I'm begging you.

01:03:48.900 And God knows your heart.

01:03:50.120 He knows when you're sincere.

01:03:51.420 So that's it.

01:03:52.320 So those are the four last things meditate upon.

01:03:55.240 And the next thing is, you know, you have to practice mortification.

01:03:58.780 You have to practice prayer and fasting.

01:04:01.460 You know, fasting is a powerful weapon against the devil.

01:04:04.460 Because when we deny ourself legitimate things, when the bad things come, it's easy to say no.

01:04:09.520 And we do this for love of God.

01:04:12.160 And when you pray without penance, without fasting, you're not going to accomplish much.

01:04:16.960 And we have to do that.

01:04:18.360 You must deny yourself.

01:04:19.580 Pick up your cross and follow me.

01:04:21.560 And then the next thing, too, of course, is the sacraments.

01:04:24.080 I said, go to the Eucharist.

01:04:25.340 The masses is the holiest thing that God has given us.

01:04:29.020 And this is when the devil, really, when he and he was him, when they came with this new mass. 0.67

01:04:34.660 Now, I'll be clear, John, the new mass is valid, but it's illicit.

01:04:39.160 And when you come, you know, it's valid.

01:04:43.240 So what happens?

01:04:44.160 They stripped the mass of sacrifice.

01:04:47.160 They invited Protestant ministers, Jewish rabbis, to come to the Second Vatican Council and tell us what to do with our liturgy, with Christ's liturgy.

01:04:57.400 And so the new mass is stripped.

01:04:59.360 If you years ago, you probably heard of Michael Davis.

01:05:02.800 I don't know if you ever heard of him.

01:05:04.280 And he wrote a trilogy, and it's gold.

01:05:07.040 And he said, what did that arch apostate, he was a bishop, Kramer.

01:05:13.460 He said, in order to destroy the faith, we have to destroy the mass.

01:05:18.500 That's what he said.

01:05:19.820 And so how do we do that?

01:05:21.280 So number one, we stripped the mass of many things, you know.

01:05:24.480 So that's why when – so he said, take an old missile and a new missile with a pencil and start – so I'd go – and he goes, every – because you want to erase it, go through the new mass.

01:05:34.000 And if you were a Protestant, make a market, what would offend you? 0.94

01:05:38.280 And you get nothing if you don't use the first cannon.

01:05:40.840 There's like, you know, there's over – there's four cannons in the front, but there's another four or five in the back. 0.62

01:05:45.680 It's ridiculous.

01:05:46.860 And the second cannon, we used to joke, it's the instant cannon. 0.95

01:05:50.500 And everywhere, you're calling God down from heaven.

01:05:52.360 But the – and then take the new – the old mass, in English, you can read it, and everything that would bother you if you were Protestant, you've got hundreds and hundreds of them all. 0.79

01:06:03.140 Because it's constantly reminding us, this is a sacrifice.

01:06:06.420 This is a sacrifice.

01:06:08.160 And that's why when a priest, when he comes into the sanctuary, the Holy of Holies, when he comes down the aisle, most traditional vestments, what do we have on the back, John, a cross?

01:06:17.340 Because I'm persona Christi when I'm entering that sanctuary.

01:06:20.560 What am I doing?

01:06:21.420 I'm Christ.

01:06:22.080 I'm going where?

01:06:22.940 The Calvary.

01:06:23.520 That's why there's usually three steps.

01:06:25.380 They're made out of stone, usually.

01:06:26.800 Why?

01:06:27.060 That represents – you're climbing to be nailed to the cross with Jesus Christ.

01:06:32.520 And so when you get this down and you start studying the mass, the saints tell us, the church, the graces for salvation are distributed primarily at mass.

01:06:41.660 And that's why they changed the second – in the translation, the vernacular in the Novus Ordo, the second consecration of the precious blood.

01:06:51.200 It was a big error.

01:06:52.720 It said that he shed his blood for all.

01:06:56.880 And no, the Council of Trent says no.

01:06:59.220 Our Lord said for the many, because what that applies for is those that will be saved.

01:07:03.500 And so all these areas that they implemented, they stripped the church of sacrifice, and the sanctuary became a circus, a triggering circus, where, you know, who was jumping up and down John at Calvary?

01:07:17.380 Tell me.

01:07:18.820 Caiaphas and his cohorts.

01:07:20.420 Crucified.

01:07:21.240 Break out the tambourines, you know, the guitars.

01:07:23.900 No, no, no.

01:07:24.480 Your department should be the department of the Blessed Virgin, St. John the Evangelist, Mary Magdalene.

01:07:32.680 We should be weeping at mass.

01:07:34.480 If we're not, it's because we don't know what's going on.

01:07:38.160 And I never forget a priest that he came from England once, and they took him to a football game.

01:07:43.480 And they said to him at the end, you know, because football in Europe is soccer.

01:07:48.640 And how'd you like this?

01:07:49.860 I don't understand anything that was going on.

01:07:52.060 So they explained the game, then he enjoyed it.

01:07:55.040 So if you're going to mass, and you don't know what's going on, you're not going to get it.

01:07:59.060 And we don't go to mass anyway to get anything out of it.

01:08:02.980 We go to worship God.

01:08:04.760 Worship is work.

01:08:06.520 So all these things, when you start connecting in the sacraments, you know, prayer, fasting, these are all the means.

01:08:13.060 Then, you know, and another means is remedy, is practice the presence of God.

01:08:19.920 What does that mean?

01:08:20.900 And that God knows and sees everything we think at every moment.

01:08:25.640 And we could be struck in our sins and go to hell.

01:08:29.480 It says in the scripture, as fish are taken with hooks, so sinners are taken in their sin.

01:08:34.420 God does take sinners, you know.

01:08:37.760 St. Paul said, God will not be mocked.

01:08:40.680 God will not be mocked.

01:08:41.760 And so these are the remedies, but I'll give you the list, John, so you can post it.

01:08:48.280 And so I really recommend that you do these things.

01:08:51.340 And like I said, I don't want to, I don't know how much time you got.

01:08:53.960 I don't want to go on and on, but this is all the four last things too.

01:08:57.160 And these are the remedies.

01:08:58.220 And I never had a man, John, I promised them.

01:09:01.380 He said, when they come to me, I said, if you do these remedies, you will not fall.

01:09:06.800 And so sometimes, John, they come back.

01:09:09.580 And the first thing I said, because I give them a list of paper because, you know, they're not going to remember.

01:09:14.120 It's dark in the confessional.

01:09:15.700 They can't write.

01:09:16.280 So I'll slip a paper where I can't see them.

01:09:18.740 I said, here's a, I'm going to slip this out the door.

01:09:21.900 Just take it.

01:09:22.560 When I go to a mission, I'll tell the priest, make me two, 300 copies.

01:09:26.360 Why?

01:09:26.600 I said, make me two, 300 copies.

01:09:28.460 And believe me, usually they're gone by the end of the mission.

01:09:31.500 But when they, so they have this thing, they have no excuse.

01:09:33.740 And so sometimes a man will come back and say, you know, father, you told me I wouldn't fall.

01:09:38.700 Your promise is not true.

01:09:39.900 I fell.

01:09:40.660 I said, you do the remedy.

01:09:41.800 They said, okay, name them.

01:09:43.260 And they can only name like one.

01:09:44.440 I said, I told you to do all the remedies.

01:09:46.580 And when you do them all, they come back and they don't fall, John.

01:09:50.720 They don't fall.

01:09:52.020 And it's an awesome thing.

01:09:53.720 So, and one time I had a penitent come back.

01:09:57.020 I had a penitent come back and the person was a little, I can't believe what you did to me.

01:10:01.880 And this was really humiliating.

01:10:04.040 It was so hard.

01:10:04.860 I said, did you do the remedies?

01:10:06.240 Yes.

01:10:06.800 I said, I have one question for you.

01:10:09.460 Would, would, do you think you'll commit that sin again? 1.00

01:10:12.540 I'd rather die. 1.00

01:10:13.620 I said, all right.

01:10:14.500 I did my job.

01:10:15.280 You know, and now you'll be free.

01:10:18.160 So, so this is it.

01:10:20.520 And so I encourage too, for priests out there, I can't encourage it enough.

01:10:24.600 It's very hard for, in the beginning, if you've never done it, to delay abs.

01:10:29.440 Now there's a difference between delaying absolution and denying abs.

01:10:33.500 Denying absolution is totally different.

01:10:35.760 When I deny absolution, like say I have a penitent come in and they tell me they're using birth control.

01:10:41.100 I said, okay.

01:10:41.520 And so St.

01:10:42.780 St. Alphonse says, you know, we have an obligation to dispose that soul, to help them see the danger that they're in.

01:10:51.580 And so this is, if a priest, if you're not doing your mental prayer, you fellow priests, you're not going to have nothing to, you have nothing in you.

01:10:59.300 You have no fire in you.

01:11:00.480 You don't have the love.

01:11:01.200 You're not going to be able to dispose someone.

01:11:03.340 But if you're meditating upon these, because we have to do it too.

01:11:06.060 I have a soul and you'll be able to dispose.

01:11:09.480 You try to dispose them, but very rare.

01:11:11.840 But I have had, and other priests, there are people that say, no, I ain't going to stop.

01:11:15.860 And you do everything to dispose them.

01:11:17.740 But then at the end, if they don't want to stop, you can't give them absolution.

01:11:22.440 But delaying is different.

01:11:24.180 You're just delaying, uproot the occasions, do the remedies, and then you could give them out.

01:11:29.700 And so many priests think that that's cruel.

01:11:31.620 But no, that's true charity.

01:11:33.320 What good is it if I'm giving you medicine, if you have a cold, if you have cancer, and I'm going to give you a cough medicine?

01:11:40.480 What good is it going to do, John?

01:11:42.360 So these are the things.

01:11:43.720 So the priests are afraid because, believe me, and I've been through it, superior say, hey, what's going on?

01:11:51.140 I have complaints about you.

01:11:52.580 You weren't given absolution.

01:11:54.120 And you can't reveal, you can't break the seal.

01:11:56.500 So all I could tell them, I would say, I can't talk about that, Father.

01:12:02.940 You know that.

01:12:03.700 I said, but I could tell you what.

01:12:05.060 So I'll go like this.

01:12:06.220 This is what I follow.

01:12:07.760 I'll give you this book.

01:12:08.980 You want to test me to make sure I'm following it right?

01:12:11.040 I'll take a test.

01:12:12.340 So one superior took it, and then he came back to me.

01:12:16.220 Two weeks later, I said, do you want to test me?

01:12:18.820 He said, no, get out of here.

01:12:20.220 But the bottom line is, I'm following the doctor of the church.

01:12:24.900 So I had a priest, many, but most priests won't do it because they're afraid.

01:12:30.400 But this is it, because the priest, first of all, he's going to Calvary every day.

01:12:34.960 So we're called to be not only priests, John, but victims.

01:12:39.760 We're going to be calumniated.

01:12:41.960 If you want to know what a priest is, all you have to do is open the Gospels and read the life of Jesus Christ.

01:12:48.380 They called him a drunk. 0.63

01:12:49.940 They called him a thief. 1.00

01:12:51.140 They called him a liar. 1.00

01:12:52.980 They thought he was a failure.

01:12:54.600 One of my favorite scriptures is the road to Emmaus, right?

01:12:57.480 On the road to Emmaus, what happens after the resurrection?

01:12:59.920 He disguised himself, and he comes up on three disciples, and they turn around.

01:13:04.920 They didn't realize it was him at first.

01:13:07.340 And they said, don't you know what happened?

01:13:10.280 What?

01:13:11.020 The one we believed who was Messiah, he died.

01:13:14.660 They crucified.

01:13:15.140 In other words, Caiaphas, if you're the Son of God, come down from the cross.

01:13:19.260 He didn't come down from the cross.

01:13:20.860 But it was through death that he conquered death.

01:13:23.280 And so he had to open up their hearts and their eyes to the scriptures.

01:13:28.040 Isaiah, all the suffering, serving by his stripes.

01:13:31.140 And then they understood.

01:13:32.540 And if we priests don't understand that, if you're a holy priest trying to be holy, you're going to be crucified with Christ. 0.89

01:13:44.520 They're going to call you a liar.

01:13:45.680 I mean, what's going on in the church today, John, the ones that are really in schism from the top down, the ones that are heretics, they're calling faithful like you, like me.

01:13:58.520 They're calling us schismatics.

01:14:00.180 They're calling us heretics.

01:14:02.520 Rejoice to be blessed are those who suffer for the kingdom of God.

01:14:05.900 You know, the kingdom of heaven shall be theirs.

01:14:08.040 You know, so we're going to get this.

01:14:09.740 But if you're not tuned in, if you're not meditating, if you're not meditating on what a priest is, that you have to be crucified with Christ, you're not going to be able to do this.

01:14:18.340 So this one priest, he used to argue with me.

01:14:20.180 And I just constantly quote St. Alphonson.

01:14:23.280 So I seen him a couple of years later.

01:14:25.520 And he said, I want to talk to you.

01:14:26.860 I said, what is it?

01:14:27.520 He goes, you know, when you used to, I used to debate you on all this.

01:14:32.580 And I want to apologize to you because God gave me the grace to see that I should follow St. Alphonson.

01:14:39.860 And since I follow him, I can't believe the results.

01:14:43.260 He says, these souls are set free.

01:14:46.400 And he goes, but I'm constantly weeping.

01:14:49.220 I said, why?

01:14:49.960 He goes, because he was a priest at that time over 25 years.

01:14:53.720 He goes, what about all the penitents that I, because a priest can actually commit sacrilege by giving absolution when he shouldn't.

01:15:01.080 And I could quote, John, we could be here for two days.

01:15:05.920 I could quote statements from the Council of Trent, from other statements from popes.

01:15:11.900 And there's, you know, there's a beautiful prayer in the reculter for priests and before confession and after confession.

01:15:19.500 But one part of the prayer says, grant me the grace and the light to know when to bind and when to loose.

01:15:25.560 You know, to know when to give absolution and when not to.

01:15:30.480 Yeah.

01:15:30.560 You know, even in canon law, it says a priest is obliged to give absolution if he has no doubt of the disposition of the penitent.

01:15:38.020 But what does that imply?

01:15:39.200 If he has a doubt, if there's reason to doubt the disposition.

01:15:43.300 And one of them, if you're committing the same sin for 20, 30 years, even in one year, you don't have the disposition.

01:15:50.200 And so when you do this, John, when the priest, if they'll just do this, they will see the result.

01:15:57.580 I can't, because I had Father Alphonsus, my teacher, from the first moment I got in the confession, I never forgot.

01:16:03.280 I said, Lord, please, I hope I don't have to delay no absolution right away.

01:16:07.640 I said, oh.

01:16:08.160 And some people say, oh, Father Isaac, you take joy.

01:16:12.040 No, I don't take joy in it.

01:16:13.820 But I know, just like a surgeon, that if he has to give an operation, he has to take the scalpel and cut, it hurts.

01:16:23.300 But the purpose is to get to the wound and to heal it.

01:16:26.800 If the priest can only get this due and pray for the strength of God.

01:16:30.720 And when you're a priest, when you're in a confessional, he tells us, St. Alphonsus, that you're having a hard time figuring something, pray to the Holy Ghost.

01:16:37.140 It's because he's real.

01:16:39.060 You know, he will give you the light you need to do, because that's true compassion.

01:16:44.960 That's true compassion.

01:16:46.000 I'm here to set you free.

01:16:47.700 And I could tell you, I was at a shrine, I won't even say where it was, in another part of the world.

01:16:52.920 And I was hearing confession at the shrine, and this person came in, and I had a delay absolution.

01:16:59.000 And the person started weeping, weeping.

01:17:02.060 I said, oh.

01:17:02.660 And the person said, Father, these are tears of joy, because I've been despairing for years.

01:17:09.180 I came to this Marian shrine begging Our Lady for a miracle, and you have given me that miracle now.

01:17:15.580 I will do what you told me.

01:17:17.480 And it's amazing.

01:17:19.580 Like, they really, the people that do it, they're set free.

01:17:24.120 And, you know, our Lord said, if you help one soul get into heaven, man, it wipes away a multitude of your sins.

01:17:30.260 But at the poor priest, we have souls, too.

01:17:32.860 We have to save our souls.

01:17:34.360 Why won't we embrace the doctor of the church who has all the answers?

01:17:38.380 And St. Leonard Paul Maurice, it's the same teachings, because St. John Vianney, St. Pio, you read about St. Pio, not given absolution.

01:17:48.900 He was, no, how many souls are in heaven because of St. Pio, because of John Vianney?

01:17:54.380 How many?

01:17:55.760 And the devil, look, you know the stories.

01:17:58.360 He couldn't, he says, when you can't get the bird, he went for the cage.

01:18:01.500 You know, he put his house on fire.

01:18:03.120 He did all kinds of, because John Vianney followed St. Alphonse, but the souls are set free.

01:18:08.380 So, I always offer any priest that wants this information, I'll help them, but very rare will a priest embrace it, because it's hard.

01:18:17.620 And, John, to be exiled, to be marginalized, they cut off, the first thing they do is they cut off, if you get paid.

01:18:25.400 I'm a Franciscan, and I said, you train me in poverty, so I rejoice, you know.

01:18:29.800 I don't care, because God is rich, and he'll give you what you need, not what you want.

01:18:35.660 And so, we don't have to worry about those things.

01:18:37.900 But if you're not being calumniated as a priest, if you're not being crucified, if you're not, you're walking in, you're with the other side, you know, St. Ignatius of Loyola in his spiritual exercises, which are awesome, I highly recommend.

01:18:53.700 There's only two camps.

01:18:55.740 You got the camp of God, and you're Satan.

01:18:58.120 And there's no middle world.

01:19:00.000 There is none.

01:19:01.340 And so, that delay absolution, it really is.

01:19:03.740 It's like getting whacked in the head.

01:19:05.760 Wake up. 0.99

01:19:06.660 They realize they're on their way to hell.

01:19:09.300 They realize.

01:19:10.200 And it's painful when you live in sin.

01:19:12.240 It really is.

01:19:13.860 Protecting your money doesn't have to be complicated.

01:19:16.600 With stocks, bonds, and crypto, it's easy to feel lost.

01:19:19.660 But gold and silver have been trusted for centuries as a simple, stable store of value in uncertain times.

01:19:25.740 If you would have invested $35,000 in gold at the millennium, an amount you can give today tax-free to anyone you love, it would have grown to be worth over $325,000.

01:19:35.840 Call our team at 610-326-2000 and let us step you through crafting a solution for your family.

01:19:43.140 Let me beg the priests out there, if you could do this, not for yourselves, do it for your many, many, many penitents who are begging for help and have been for years who haven't been able to break free.

01:20:00.520 Because there's a way for them to break free.

01:20:02.800 I would very much encourage you to read St. Alphonsus as Father's suggesting.

01:20:07.700 And for you guys out there, Father Isaac Mary has his own website.

01:20:12.540 Father, where can they go to get more information from you?

01:20:14.740 It's Soldiers of the Immaculate, S-O-T-I dot blog.

01:20:19.540 And, you know, I give a talk sometimes every week.

01:20:22.000 And when I give mission talks, I put them up there.

01:20:24.100 Plus, there's plenty of other stuff on YouTube, my four last things.

01:20:28.720 But when we do a show, I have this man, Max.

01:20:31.160 He helps me.

01:20:32.560 And then all the books.

01:20:33.600 I always quote books because I want people, spiritual readings.

01:20:38.160 And that's another remedy, spiritual readings, of course, to read.

01:20:42.920 But like I said, don't waste your time reading this, man.

01:20:45.680 Read the saints because they will challenge you.

01:20:49.380 And that's why some people.

01:20:50.800 And the other thing is you've got to do the mental prayer because mental prayer, St. Bernard said, it's like looking into it.

01:20:58.240 What happens when you look in the mirror, John?

01:20:59.760 You see the image of yourself.

01:21:01.520 When you do mental prayer, which St. Teresa of Avila says nothing but a conversation with God, he starts to show you what's wrong.

01:21:10.860 All right?

01:21:11.100 It's like in a house, you look at a wall, it looks fine.

01:21:15.380 But if you put a big spotlight on, you say, hey, that painter missed the spot there.

01:21:19.160 There's a mark here.

01:21:20.440 And so he starts showing you defects, not to beat you down, but to help you overcome them.

01:21:25.660 And so when you're doing mental prayer, God will.

01:21:27.920 So we list these books.

01:21:29.700 Like, for instance, right now, one of the books I'm reading because I promote it is Venerable Lewis of Granada.

01:21:36.460 He was one of, if not the greatest spiritual writer of all time.

01:21:41.260 And he lived the time of the Protestant Revolution.

01:21:45.060 And St. Teresa of Avila was alive, or St. Francis de Sales, St. Robert Bellamy, they all praised him.

01:21:50.940 They said he was the best writer, hands down.

01:21:53.760 St. Bellamy, the doctor of the church, used to consult him.

01:21:56.760 So he has plenty of books, but you could get these at TAN, and I recommend.

01:22:01.940 One is The Summa, The Christian Life. 0.76

01:22:04.120 It will blow you away, three volumes.

01:22:05.780 But if you want to just get one, get The Sinner's Guide. 0.69

01:22:08.340 And it's not, we're all sinners, John.

01:22:10.660 And when you read these things, it's amazing.

01:22:12.540 It's amazing.

01:22:13.420 Did you?

01:22:14.420 Yeah.

01:22:15.100 It really is.

01:22:16.240 And so that's what I do on my website, too.

01:22:18.160 So I give them access.

01:22:19.680 So a lot of times, Max will put up where they could get it on a PDF for free, where to buy it.

01:22:24.460 So it's all there.

01:22:26.300 And let me tell you something.

01:22:28.380 With The Four Last Things, and this is not bringing no praise to me, but I'm just following the saints, doing what I'm supposed to do as a priest.

01:22:36.560 I've had people have told me, one man called me, his brother was a Satanist.

01:22:40.640 He listened to The Four Last Things.

01:22:42.200 He was converted, John.

01:22:44.120 He was converted.

01:22:45.180 Because faith comes by hearing.

01:22:47.020 Once again, the Word of God goes out, but it never comes back void.

01:22:50.920 And some of the most, one of the things, there's a couple of things that you could tell as a preacher what really bothers the devil, what his strongholds are.

01:23:01.820 And one, there's two topics that I'll tell you that get him so bad.

01:23:07.680 And I could tell because they get crazy.

01:23:10.120 I've even been spit on for the one doctrine I always preach on.

01:23:13.700 I get it in.

01:23:14.440 People say, some of my friends, how the heck did you get that into the sermon on the no salvation outside of the one holy Catholic apostolic church?

01:23:23.060 And why does the devil go wild with John?

01:23:25.440 More than anything.

01:23:26.540 Why?

01:23:26.940 Because it's true.

01:23:29.220 And if he could go get you to believe, then no, there's salvation like one of the heresies.

01:23:34.940 And let me tell you something, John.

01:23:36.260 There are heresies in Vatican II.

01:23:38.920 I'm tired of hearing, oh, there's errors.

01:23:41.040 What do you think errors are?

01:23:41.940 They're heresies.

01:23:43.100 And we have to call them out for what they are. 0.53

01:23:44.780 And if you fall into that nonsense, you're going to lose your soul.

01:23:48.200 That all the, one of the heresies, all this false ecumenism and that all these other religions are means of salvation.

01:23:56.340 What?

01:23:56.780 No Protestant can save his soul dying a Protestant unless he's converted. 0.98

01:24:03.100 And so this, people think, oh, you're mean.

01:24:05.680 No, I'm not mean.

01:24:06.520 I'm telling you this.

01:24:07.720 It's a hard thing to preach.

01:24:09.020 And I was spit on for that once in Italy.

01:24:11.200 I was preaching in the Basilica.

01:24:13.160 One of my favorite, Our Lady Loretta.

01:24:14.940 And I went outside.

01:24:16.400 These two women came up to me and once spit on everything. 1.00

01:24:19.820 It was horrible.

01:24:20.820 And I said, well, I could explain it to you if you want, but I can't change the teaching.

01:24:24.180 And I'd rather die than do that.

01:24:25.840 But guess what happened?

01:24:27.200 Later on, that person came up to me.

01:24:29.620 I was sitting there in my office and there was nobody around.

01:24:32.580 I see these two pit bulls coming for me.

01:24:34.500 I said, oh, Lord, you got to protect me here.

01:24:36.680 And they apologized.

01:24:38.980 And they said, can you help me?

01:24:40.800 And I would say, well, I'm going.

01:24:42.180 I'm sorry.

01:24:42.700 I'm going to San Giovanni to give a retreat.

01:24:46.040 And they said, well, that's where we're going.

01:24:47.880 Can I see you?

01:24:48.960 So I said, and it turned out this one person came.

01:24:52.900 And I diagnosed this person and the person was totally, fully possessed, manifested.

01:24:59.680 And when I got her out of the manifestation, I said, you're fully possessed because nothing

01:25:05.400 was going right in her life.

01:25:06.920 She couldn't figure out what it was.

01:25:09.100 She'd get engaged.

01:25:10.960 I don't know how many times break off.

01:25:13.880 She opened up a business going good and just dies and everything went wrong. 1.00

01:25:18.120 But she didn't know.

01:25:19.660 So she wrote me, too.

01:25:21.280 And I said, you got to go to your bishop.

01:25:23.680 And she wrote me.

01:25:25.180 The bishop got an exit.

01:25:26.580 She was delivered.

01:25:27.680 So this is what happens when you speak truth.

01:25:31.160 And you can't be, you priests can't be afraid to do that.

01:25:34.440 You can't. 0.97

01:25:35.820 And I'm going to tell you one more that really gets the devil crazy.

01:25:41.800 And when my moral professor, Father Alphonse, taught us this, I was scratching my head

01:25:45.740 a little.

01:25:46.800 I said, man, what is that?

01:25:48.960 I said, but if the holy doctor, St. Alphonse, teaches it, it's got to be right.

01:25:52.860 So I'm very simple.

01:25:54.580 It's a gift of faith, you know?

01:25:56.360 We believe not because our intellect is sensed, but because God is God.

01:26:00.180 He cannot deceive nor be deceived.

01:26:02.040 And then we pray for deeper understanding.

01:26:04.040 So this is the teaching that for married couples, you have children, you're never allowed to

01:26:12.220 have your children, once they're weaned, sleep in your bed, or they can't sleep with

01:26:16.280 siblings, brother with brother, brother with sister.

01:26:20.120 And so he didn't get into details, but I found out.

01:26:23.320 So I preached on it.

01:26:25.560 And even in, believe it or not, you know, some of the ones that really raise hell about

01:26:29.480 that are the traditional parishes.

01:26:31.760 And I said, listen, this is what it is, you know?

01:26:34.800 So because I found out what happens is when they're below the age of reason, you can't

01:26:39.880 commit a mortal sin, but they're sleeping together and the body is the body and they stumble on

01:26:45.020 dings and they get hooked on perversions and would lust and live a very bad life of impurity.

01:26:54.860 And so one time I was teaching a class of converts, like 15 of them.

01:26:58.880 And I'm going over this and this Marine stood up and he was smoking mad.

01:27:05.080 He goes, that is nonsense.

01:27:06.900 And he was, I say, listen, watch your tone.

01:27:09.180 All right.

01:27:09.900 You could say what you want, but watch your tone.

01:27:12.260 Just calm down and tell me what you want.

01:27:14.700 And I'm about, I said, I'm going to explain it to you.

01:27:16.740 And then this young lady said, father, may I say something?

01:27:19.140 I said, sure.

01:27:19.720 She said, I can't believe we're talking about this because just today, a friend of mine who's

01:27:25.480 a social worker has over 150 cases, case that he has to deal with.

01:27:31.700 And he said, he can't believe how many of these young teenagers said that that's what happened

01:27:37.820 to them when young and led them into a life of impurity.

01:27:40.680 And so I preach it.

01:27:43.900 And let me tell you something.

01:27:44.860 Thank God people listen, but some people fight.

01:27:47.760 So I'm telling you, those are the two things that the devil, I preach on abortion, contraception, 0.98

01:27:51.860 you name it.

01:27:52.820 But those two things, the devil raised hell.

01:27:56.160 And so, but I encourage the priest, we got to do these things.

01:27:59.640 So what?

01:28:00.300 And you know, they did it to Christ.

01:28:02.420 And if you're walking in his footsteps, it's going to happen to you and praise.

01:28:06.740 But we have to be willing to go to cross.

01:28:09.060 Like Our Lady of Fatima said to these young children, are you willing to offer sacrifices

01:28:14.800 so souls won't go to heaven?

01:28:17.260 And you know what's amazing?

01:28:19.200 Instantly, Lucy, yes, yes, Jacinta, six years old.

01:28:23.240 She puts us to shame.

01:28:24.960 Six years old.

01:28:26.140 She goes, you will suffer much in this world, but in the next, you'll have great glory, right?

01:28:31.140 And so that's why I encourage the priest, because St. Alphonse teaches that one

01:28:36.560 priest receives more temptation than a hundred people in one day.

01:28:43.320 Think about that.

01:28:44.080 A hundred people, like 99 plus you, a priest.

01:28:47.120 Why?

01:28:47.500 He said, because the generals, if one good priest brings thousands and thousands to heaven,

01:28:52.980 but one bad one brings thousands and thousands to hell.

01:28:56.840 Thousands.

01:28:57.240 And so this is, and with all this, you know, so many people say, and I'm sure you hear about

01:29:04.260 this because you're doing a good job, because you're trying to educate people, and it's

01:29:08.580 not fun, and you know that firsthand, to talk about what's going on in the Vatican.

01:29:13.200 To talk, like for instance, Pope Francis, he told priests that you must absolve a penitent

01:29:20.500 even if they have no sorrow for their sins.

01:29:23.400 Are you, what?

01:29:25.600 I say, get behind me, Satan. 0.58

01:29:28.540 Get behind me. 0.95

01:29:29.760 All this nonsense from the second Vatican account, all these other religions. 1.00

01:29:33.660 And you know how many penitents have come to me, they want to convert. 1.00

01:29:37.420 I meet Protestants, and they said the priest told me I don't have to.

01:29:41.200 This is alive, John.

01:29:42.220 So we continue to do what you're doing.

01:29:44.480 I commend you, and you know, I've watched your pet, and I see, and I respect you, because

01:29:50.500 I see, once you see truth, and you recognize, you embrace it, and you paid a price already,

01:29:56.860 you know, that coup d'etat they did on you.

01:29:59.440 But you know what?

01:30:00.260 God had your back.

01:30:01.720 And as this one priest said, so what?

01:30:03.520 The worst they could do is cut off our heads, but God promises to put it back on, on a judgment.

01:30:08.760 You know?

01:30:10.080 Father, you do send me that list.

01:30:12.420 I'll be posting that list on my blog as well.

01:30:15.400 One more date.

01:30:16.760 Yeah.

01:30:17.300 I tell all the lay people, John, this book, besides the praxis too, Counsels to Confessors,

01:30:25.320 Loretto Press, and I know a lot of people, when I preach, I say, go buy a case, two cases,

01:30:31.380 give it to every priest that you know.

01:30:33.780 And I encourage people to do that, because you, you know the merit you're going to get

01:30:37.780 if you get one priest to embrace this, that priest is going to bring thousands of souls
