In this episode, Princess Gloria von Thurnan-Taxas offers her thoughts on the death of Queen Elizabeth II, and the future of the monarchy in England. She is a German royal who grew up in England and was a close relative of the Queen.
00:00:24.780We thought it would be interesting for you to hear from another royal on the subject.
00:00:29.840Not so much a royal in England, but a royal known to all of you.
00:00:34.500I'm talking about Princess Gloria von Thurnan-Taxas, the German princess whose dynasty of Thurnan-Taxas is still existing today.
00:00:46.160Her son, Prince Albert, being the heir.
00:00:49.120And we wanted to take her thoughts, opinion on what's going on on the death of the Queen, as well as the future of the monarchy and of England.
00:05:13.960You come from a royal family and are in sort of royals in Germany, but not in the same way.
00:05:22.200There is a sort of faction, if you will, or group of traditionalists who really do believe a monarchy would even be superior to the kind of democracy sometimes we have in the West that basically has led us down a path of unbelievable attacks on basically all of culture.
00:06:10.820We have abandoned this form since about, I would say, 150 to 200 years.
00:06:17.540But it is not said that it is not coming back in the future, especially because of its continuity.
00:06:22.860And we can see in China, for example, the president has chosen to be a president for all his life.
00:06:31.500So you see, this is almost like a monarchy.
00:06:34.380And a monarchy, of course, is when you inherit the throne or when the elite will vote for a new king.
00:06:42.620But I mean, all these things can come back because the kingdom has been for thousands of years, thousand years, and now it's not.
00:06:51.040But it's never said that it's not going to come back.
00:06:53.940One of the scary things, and I think we'll end with this question.
00:06:57.160It is very concerning from this perspective.
00:07:01.340When you talk about the elites selecting a monarch or a leader, that very much sounds like what we're looking at right now with regard to not a national sovereignty, but an international sovereignty.
00:07:16.720I'd like you to, if you could, make for us that distinction, because a lot of people right now could foresee, you know, elites of the world coming together and selecting a kind of one world leader.
00:07:30.440But I don't think that's the kind of monarchy you're speaking about.

00:08:02.560I am very much for national monarchy or national leader of any sorts, because I think that people need to have their family and their roots in order to preserve their identity.
00:08:17.120I know that there is a goal of a lot of ideologists who think in the one world government, but this is not very practical, because it's against the nation.
00:08:30.560People are structured in tribes, and one has to respect that, because it is stronger.
00:08:39.300You can see it if you go to very mixed populations or very mixed societies.
00:08:44.480For example, New York City or any city in Canada, the Chinese will live with the Chinese.
00:08:50.300The Italians will live with the Italians.
00:08:52.300The Africans, even the Africans separate very strongly.
00:08:56.240The East Africans, the West Africans, the South Africans, the Arab society.
00:09:01.720Everybody looks to find their relations, their relatives.
00:09:06.600So even if we all live in one city, that's very much possible.
00:09:10.820But there is a tendency that you like to go to live and spend time around the people of your own culture.
