00:00:45.560 If you recall, we did a little coverage of that at LifeSite News and you saw this mob of Antifa there protesting them, but they weren't arrested.

00:01:07.120 You know what? These young men, I had a conversation with them, which I'm going to let you into now.

00:01:14.140 One of them, though, is probably pretty well known to many of us in that he is the son of Archer Pavlovsky.
00:01:22.680 Nathaniel Pavlovsky, 23 year old, is the son of Archer Pavlovsky, who I've had on the show before.
00:01:29.460 He was the one who was strident that his church would stay open and that the authorities had no right during COVID to say, you know, shut down.
00:01:40.440 We're not going to let you meet. And he was standing up for the truth.
00:01:44.980 He was arrested kind of brutally. He was jailed.
00:01:48.640 But, you know, watching that example has inspired greatness in his son.
00:01:53.740 And there's another young man here whose name is Declan Friesen.
00:01:56.920 And he's only 18. And he, too, has been inspired by his dad.

00:07:31.500 This rogue mayor in the city of Calgary decided to pass an unconstitutional bylaw that states you're not allowed to protest if you have certain beliefs.
00:07:41.000 So, if you're a Christian and you want to protest against a drag event, you're not allowed within 100 meters of that event.
00:07:46.720 Even though you're on public ground, public sidewalk, that's protected by the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, you're not allowed to do that, according to them.

00:08:02.600 So, Joydi Gondek has made a law that basically targets only Christians of a certain belief, a true belief.

00:08:20.160 Well, it says you're not allowed to protest against someone's race, religion, sexual orientation within 100 meters of public facility.
00:08:32.580 So, these events were happening in public libraries.
00:08:36.160 That's, by the way, funded by taxpayer dollars.
00:08:38.580 These drag shows are funded by taxpayer dollars.
00:08:41.240 And we're also not okay with that.
00:08:42.620 And our money is going towards this, and we don't agree with this agenda.

00:09:03.040 So, this is super interesting because, as we said in the beginning, these protesters, a whole bunch of them,

00:10:16.560 We waited for these officers to go cite them, just like they charged us, and they didn't

00:10:23.640 So, it shows a clear double standard.
00:10:25.620 No, and as soon as we finished preaching and speaking, we were pulled aside by the police

00:10:29.900 They actually claimed at first that I was going to be arrested and detained, but then it ended

00:10:36.300 But as soon as we finished talking, as soon as we were done, we were pulled aside immediately.

00:12:19.140 I tried to keep my head down for the first two years of my degree because I wanted to just
00:12:24.040 finish my degree, get the grades, not really stir the waters.
00:12:28.060 But then, of course, COVID happened and you couldn't really stay on the fence any longer.
00:12:33.240 You had to choose a side.
00:12:34.360 It was, you're thrown into this and your beliefs have to be made known or you're not going to
00:12:39.660 survive this.
00:12:40.920 So, I, after my second year, COVID happened, I had to make my beliefs known.
00:12:45.620 I was against the coercion that the school was placing on me to take certain medical procedures
00:12:53.300 that I disagreed with, to wear certain things on my face that I disagreed with.
00:12:57.560 So, I was at war with the university for a while and everyone knew my last name.
00:13:02.700 Everyone knew my beliefs already.
00:13:04.200 And then, after that second year, I could really, I really said, well, I have nothing

00:13:11.120 They're going to be biased against me anyways.

00:14:05.440 My suggestion would be, the Bible says that if you acknowledge me before my Father in heaven,

00:14:11.740 I will acknowledge you before my angels in the presence of my Father.
00:14:14.480 And that's really what I come back to when I think about these things.
00:14:18.660 Everything on earth, everything in front of your peers or your friends is very temporary.

00:17:04.340 They're attacked on every level, even their school systems, their teachers, their peers, social media, everything.
00:17:09.440 So I think the best way to reach them is, first of all, if you're a parent, it's important that you teach your child the ways of God.
00:17:15.320 Teach your child to walk in the ways of righteousness and he will not depart from it, the Bible says.

00:17:21.040 So it starts with not just giving your child to anyone to let anyone teach your child.
