Impeachment hearings in the Senate against former President Donald Trump will go on, but a new impeachment against Joe Biden has just been filed. Meanwhile, President Biden s so-called Catholicism is coming into sharp focus as he presses on with anti-life and anti-family measures, all the while receiving Holy Communion and with a photo of himself alongside Pope Francis as one of the new decorations in the Oval Office. Also, the leftist bishops named cardinals by Pope Francis are furiously trying to stamp out public criticism of President Biden's pro-abortion stance. But that has finally aroused something of a fighting spirit in conservative bishops in America.

00:00:00.640 Impeachment hearings in the Senate against former President Donald Trump will go on,
00:00:05.140 but a new impeachment against Joe Biden has just been filed.
00:00:08.940 Meanwhile, President Biden's so-called Catholicism is coming into sharp focus
00:00:13.780 as he presses on with anti-life and anti-family measures,
00:00:17.620 all the while receiving Holy Communion and with a photo of himself alongside Pope Francis
00:00:23.280 as one of the new decorations in the Oval Office.
00:00:26.800 Also, the leftist bishops named cardinals by Pope Francis are furiously trying to stamp out public criticism
00:00:33.720 of President Biden's pro-abortion stance,
00:00:36.800 but that has finally aroused something of a fighting spirit in conservative bishops in America.
00:00:43.340 This is the John Henry Weston Show. Stay tuned.
00:00:56.800 Let's begin, as we always do, with the sign of the cross.
00:01:07.020 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.
00:01:11.720 The political climate for the Biden administration is now similar to that of the Trump administration.
00:01:19.040 Already, papers have been filed for Biden's impeachment. Check this out.
00:01:23.440 Just filed articles of impeachment on President Joe Biden. We'll see how this goes.
00:01:28.560 That was Representative Marjorie Taylor from, Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia, 1.00
00:01:33.500 who in her opening statement calling for Biden's impeachment said, and I quote,
00:01:37.720 President Joe Biden is unfit to hold the office of the presidency.
00:01:41.920 His pattern of abuse of power as President Obama's vice president is lengthy and disturbing.
00:01:46.600 President Biden has demonstrated that he will do whatever it takes to bail out his son Hunter
00:01:51.840 and line his family's pockets with cash from corrupt foreign energy companies.
00:01:58.260 She continued saying President Biden is even on tape admitting to a quid pro quo
00:02:05.180 with the Ukrainian government threatening to withhold $1 billion in foreign aid if they do not do his bidding.
00:02:12.700 President Biden, she said, residing in the White House is a threat to national security
00:02:18.500 and he must be immediately impeached, end quote.
00:02:23.140 Meanwhile, the Democrats in the Senate intend to pursue post-term impeachment of President Trump
00:02:28.880 with this hilarious announcement from Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
00:02:33.720 Have a look.
00:02:34.400 The House will deliver the article of impeachment to the Senate.
00:02:37.600 The Senate will conduct a trial of the impeachment of Donald Trump.
00:02:41.680 It will be a full trial.
00:02:44.120 It will be a fair trial.
00:02:45.880 But make no mistake, there will be a trial.
00:02:49.500 And when that trial ends, senators will have to decide if they believe Donald John, Donald
00:02:55.520 John Trump incited the erection, insurrection against the United States.
00:03:02.940 Boy, doesn't that make you wonder about what exactly is on people's minds.
00:03:07.420 In other news, the Polish government has issued a diplomatic passport to a Polish patient dying
00:03:14.280 from the withdrawal of nutrition and hydration in an English hospital.
00:03:18.320 According to multiple Polish media sources, the Polish government has issued the passport
00:03:23.080 in an attempt to remove the brain-damaged Polish patient from the power of the British courts. 0.98
00:03:29.160 One Polish conservative news outlet has reported that the passport is already on its way to London.
00:03:34.520 The scandal of the British courts effectively sentencing a Polish citizen, in the words of
00:03:40.580 Poland's top archbishop, to death by starvation, is a cause celeb in his birth country, though
00:03:47.300 largely passed over in cold silence by his adopted country of England.
00:03:52.820 LifeSite News delivered a petition of 25,000 signatures to the government in Britain to protest
00:03:58.880 their starvation of the Polish Catholic.
00:04:00.740 John Smeaton, the chief executive of the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children, was pleased
00:04:06.420 to deliver the LifeSite News petition to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London.
00:04:11.820 Have a look.
00:04:12.600 Good day.
00:04:13.980 I'm John Smeaton, the chief executive of the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children
00:04:18.660 in the UK.
00:04:20.200 And I'm here in Whitehall, London today to present a petition on behalf of LifeSite News and its
00:04:27.400 worldwide readership to the UK's foreign secretary, Dominic Raab.
00:04:34.580 The family of a pro-life Catholic Polish man has been fighting for this man's life for weeks
00:04:41.880 now, as British legal and hospital authorities seek to deny him food and fluids while he lies
00:04:49.920 comatose in an English hospital.
00:04:52.340 Also today marks the 48th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, with the tragic reality that over 60 million
00:05:00.100 innocent unborn babies were murdered in their mother's wombs with the consent of the law.
00:05:06.280 The devastation is impossible even to comprehend.
00:05:09.680 As their blood cries out to heaven for vengeance, we commend their souls to Almighty God this day.
00:05:15.700 As Joe Biden settles into the Oval Office, one of the popular topics is the office decor,
00:05:24.760 which is now being altered, of course.
00:05:26.900 But one of the pieces in the new Oval Office is very concerning indeed.
00:05:32.620 On a table behind his desk is a photo of Biden with Pope Francis.
00:05:37.560 And this brings into sharp focus the most damaging aspect of this presidency, his claim to be Catholic.
00:05:46.460 The colossal damage of his claiming to be Catholic alongside his stance in favor of the slaughter 0.98
00:05:53.080 of innocent unborn babies in their mother's wombs, with over a million of these American babies
00:05:59.740 being murdered each and every year, is totally staggering.
00:06:03.560 Just yesterday, Biden's chief medical advisor, Anthony Fauci, announced that Biden would be
00:06:10.840 revoking the Mexico City policy, which forbade U.S. family planning funds from supporting groups
00:06:16.540 which perform or promote abortion.
00:06:19.180 Now this will serve to increase abortion, not only in the USA, but abroad, and also increase
00:06:25.540 U.S. taxpayer dollars behind lobbying to have other governments permit the killing of babies
00:06:30.880 in the womb.
00:06:31.300 For Catholics who have faith, these things are devastating.
00:06:37.140 But there are those, even among the hierarchy, who seem not at all bothered by the situation.
00:06:44.100 In fact, they seem downright pleased about the current scenario.
00:06:48.780 D.C. Archbishop Wilton Gregory was one of the first religious leaders to do a prayer service
00:06:54.660 with the new president on the night of the inauguration.
00:06:57.920 Have a look.
00:06:58.340 May our prayer strengthen our awareness of our common humanity
00:07:03.900 and our national unity at a time when harmony is a balm that seeks to comfort and strengthen
00:07:14.140 us as a single people facing a common threat that is no respecter of age, race, culture, or gender.
00:07:25.860 Let us with one heart commend those who have died from this virus and all of their loved ones
00:07:35.420 to the providential care of the one who is the ultimate source of peace, unity, and concord.
00:07:46.100 Amen.
00:07:53.660 Remember, Wilton Gregory was recently made Cardinal by Pope Francis.
00:07:57.380 And while he was still in Rome, he announced that he would not forbid Holy Communion,
00:08:02.860 despite Biden's support for abortion.
00:08:05.320 That position is totally anti-Catholic in every sense.
00:08:10.440 Not only does it cause massive scandal for the faithful who see in this cardinal that there is
00:08:16.260 no sin in supporting abortion. 0.69
00:08:18.940 It shows a total lack of belief in the scriptures, too, where we are told that those who eat and drink
00:08:24.800 the Lord unworthily do so to their own condemnation.
00:08:28.700 But Cardinal Gregory is not the only one.
00:08:33.120 We heard yesterday that Cardinals Blaise Cupich of Chicago and Joseph Tobin of Newark both objected
00:08:39.560 to the statement from the U.S. Bishops' Conference, President Jose Gomez, because it contained criticism
00:08:46.100 of Biden's pro-abortion stance.
00:08:48.840 Well, Cardinal Cupich has now gone public with his behind-the-scenes criticism of his brother
00:08:54.380 Bishops.
00:08:54.680 He complained publicly that the statement, which warned against Joe Biden's promotion
00:08:59.920 of moral evils in the areas of abortion, contraception, marriage, and gender, was, in the words
00:09:05.460 of Cardinal Cupich, ill-considered.
00:09:08.540 Cupich whined about the statement not being approved by him and his like-minded cronies,
00:09:13.900 saying that the U.S. EZB statement was, quote,
00:09:16.460 crafted without the involvement of the administrative committee, a collegial consultation that is
00:09:21.920 normal course for statements that represent and enjoy the considered endorsement of the
00:09:27.280 American bishops.
00:09:29.900 Cardinal Cupich added that, well, he demanded that what he called, and I quote,
00:09:37.060 the internal institutional failures, that is, failures of the Bishops' Conference, must
00:09:42.380 be addressed, all, of course, in the name of, what?
00:09:46.580 The unity of the Church.
00:09:49.020 We must actually pray for the conversion of Cardinal Cupich and others like him in the Church,
00:09:54.660 whose status as shepherds that are actually supposed to lead the flock to Christ makes them
00:10:02.980 in grave danger, because that position of shepherd is called to a lot at their final judgments,
00:10:09.620 especially when they're doing the opposite.
00:10:11.580 So let's indeed pray for him.
00:10:13.340 Let's turn all of that, what is really frustration and anger, maybe even justice, justly so,
00:10:18.980 but into prayer for the conversion of his soul.
00:10:23.620 But there's also great news in the midst of what seems like all gloom.
00:10:28.720 That kerfuffle among the bishops has finally moved some bishops to speak out.
00:10:36.020 More than a dozen bishops have come out in the face of the backlash against Archbishop
00:10:41.940 Gomez's statement to back the criticism of Biden's anti-life stance.
00:10:47.700 Here is the list of those bishops.
00:10:50.960 It actually works as a handy tier ranking of the American hierarchy.
00:10:55.940 I'm sure it's not a full list, but it's the ones we caught at LifeSite, and it's a good list.
00:11:03.040 Here it is.
00:11:04.480 The pride of place, of course, belongs to Bishop Joseph Strickland.
00:11:08.320 He's the Bishop of Tyler, Texas, who has stood strong and solid on matters of life and family
00:11:12.860 like no other bishop in the United States, or for most of the world, for that matter.
00:11:19.620 In addition to Bishop Strickland, here are the rest of the top tier of U.S. bishops.
00:11:24.700 There's Archbishop Samuel Aquila, Denver, Colorado.
00:11:30.260 There's Archbishop Salvatore Cordelione of San Francisco, California.
00:11:35.660 There's Bishop Donald Hying of Madison, Wisconsin.
00:11:39.260 Bishop Thomas Paprocki of Springfield, Illinois.
00:11:42.800 Bishop Kevin Rhodes of Fort Wayne, South Bend, Indiana.
00:11:48.480 Bishop Thomas Tobin of Providence, Rhode Island.
00:11:51.420 Bishop James Wall of Gallup, New Mexico.
00:11:53.800 Bishop Alexander, or Archbishop Alexander Sample of Portland, Oregon.
00:11:58.800 Bishop Thomas Olmsted of Phoenix, Arizona.
00:12:02.060 Archbishop Alan Vigneron of Detroit, Michigan.
00:12:05.160 Bishop James Conley of Lincoln, Nebraska.
00:12:08.140 And that rounds out our list of the archbishops and bishops.
00:12:11.580 If you ever wanted an example of the kind of messed up faith you can get to with poor and scandalous 0.99
00:12:19.180 religious leadership, look no further than Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
00:12:23.720 She did a podcast the other day with Hillary Clinton in which she, always claiming herself
00:12:29.580 to be a faithful Catholic, of course, was upset that pro-lifers voted for President Trump.
00:12:33.660 She said, it's a great grief for me as a Catholic.
00:12:39.120 Pelosi said she believed Trump was elected for his stance against abortion.
00:12:43.540 And she lamented pro-life Catholics, and I quote, were willing to sell the whole democracy 0.97
00:12:49.220 down the river for that one issue, end quote.
00:12:53.320 Anyway, Catholics have always believed that abortion is the preeminent issue, as Archbishop
00:13:00.160 Gomez's letter said.
00:13:02.300 Well, there is one bishop who deserves special mention on our tier list, and that is Pelosi's
00:13:09.020 own bishop, Archbishop Salvatore Cordiglione.
00:13:11.940 He actually responded to Pelosi's little rant about being a Catholic and upset.
00:13:17.880 He said these words, really quite amazing.
00:13:20.500 Go check out the full story at LifeSiteNews.com.
00:13:23.020 But he said, and I quote, to begin with, the obvious, Nancy Pelosi does not speak for the
00:13:28.400 Catholic Church.
00:13:29.740 Amen, amen, and amen.
00:13:31.580 He continued, the amens were mine, by the way.
00:13:34.560 He continued, and I quote, Christians have always understood that the commandment thou shalt
00:13:39.660 not kill applies to all life, including life in the womb.
00:13:43.340 He added, one thing is clear, no Catholic in good conscience can favor abortion.
00:13:48.640 Right to choose is a smokescreen for perpetuating an entire industry that profits from one of
00:13:55.780 the most heinous evils imaginable.
00:13:59.720 He continued, our land is soaked with the blood of the innocent, and it must stop.
00:14:07.120 That is why, as Catholics, he said, we will continue to speak out on behalf of those who
00:14:13.280 have no voice to speak for themselves and reach out to comfort and support those who are suffering
00:14:18.840 the scars of the abortion experience.
00:14:20.920 We will do so until our land is finally rid of this despicable evil, end quote.
00:14:28.500 Amazing words from Archbishop Corleone, and an amazing thing that this scuffle between the
00:14:38.480 bishops have finally shown us that there are indeed a good dozen or so and more, a baker's
00:14:45.200 dozen at least, of bishops in America who have some spine and are willing to stand up for
00:14:51.440 the faith, for life, and for family.
00:14:53.500 For LifeSite News, this is John Henry Weston, and may God bless you.
00:14:59.360 Hi, this is John Henry Weston, the co-founder and editor-in-chief of LifeSite News.
00:15:03.860 I'm coming to you today because we want to be sure that we are communicating clearly with
00:15:09.860 you, our loyal followers.
00:15:11.640 Things are really heating up, as I'm sure you can see.
00:15:15.360 Christians, conservatives, truth-tellers are being targeted, are being banned from social
00:15:20.880 media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram at an alarmingly fast rate.
00:15:27.620 They are attempting to suppress any narrative that does not fit that of the mainstream media.
00:15:33.080 We knew this day would come.
00:15:35.580 We have been warning everyone who would listen and attempting to build up alternative platforms
00:15:40.940 to continue to reach you.
00:15:43.540 We have established ourselves on all sorts of platforms I'm going to explain in a minute,
00:15:47.560 but the most important thing to do is come direct to LifeSiteNews.com, because there
00:15:53.440 we will always be.
00:15:55.180 But we've also established ourselves on platforms like Parler and MeWe, and our videos can be
00:16:00.760 found on Rumble as well.
00:16:02.700 We would love to see each of you on those platforms too, as they are not censoring or suppressing
00:16:08.420 the truth that we are sharing every single day.
00:16:11.080 More than these alternative social media platforms, we highly encourage you to subscribe to our
00:16:17.320 email newsletter.
00:16:18.600 We have really built up a large list of loyal readers on our email marketing platform, and
00:16:24.420 we have prepared several backup plans for, well, I want to say if, but it's really when,
00:16:30.640 we are removed from our current platform as well.
00:16:33.340 Additionally, I really encourage you, as I said before, to make it a regular habit to
00:16:39.360 go directly to LifeSiteNews.com.
00:16:41.620 Make it your homepage.
00:16:43.620 While all of these different platforms are an excellent way to curate your news, going
00:16:49.020 directly to our website means that you will never encounter any censorship or sudden loss
00:16:54.560 of LifeSiteNews reporting.
00:16:56.240 Here's the thing.
00:16:57.660 We will never stop sharing the truth.
00:17:00.580 We founded this organization with the mission to be the life, family, and culture source
00:17:06.240 for men and women who seek to know the truth.
00:17:09.620 We have established a track record of honest reports, and this will never stop, even with
00:17:16.200 censorship happening around the globe.
00:17:18.980 Again, I'm encouraging you to join us on Parler, MeWe, Rumble, and on our email list.
00:17:25.060 You can find all the direct links in the description of this video.
00:17:29.700 May God bless you and keep you, and we are so thankful that you've chosen to follow and
00:17:34.740 support LifeSiteNews.
00:17:36.780 I'm John Henry Weston, co-founder and editor-in-chief of LifeSiteNews.
