00:00:17.240 what it's done to everything from politics to church life to the economy,
00:00:21.220 and what to do about it.
00:00:23.040 Pre-order it today at newchristendompress.com slash longhouse.
00:00:26.600 And as a thank you for pre-ordering, you'll get 10% off automatically.
00:00:30.900 We'll also be signing the first 1,000 copies, so pick yours up today.
00:00:36.040 Great men throughout history have, in the face of risk to their own comfort, reputations, or even their own lives,
00:00:43.160 sought the noble task of inventing technologies for the sake of their neighbors.
00:00:47.900 Every aspect of our lives has been touched by our brave fathers that created things that didn't exist before them.
00:00:55.020 Architecture, transportation, medicine, apparel, farming, logistics, and economics
00:01:01.580 all are influenced either for good or ill by those brave inventors that came before us.
00:01:06.880 However, there are a few inventions that came with extraordinary risk.
00:01:11.700 One such invention was the parachute.
00:01:15.140 There is some debate as to who was the first to conceptualize the parachute.
00:01:19.160 Some say it was the ancient Chinese.
00:01:21.300 Some say it was an Italian inventor in the 15th century.
00:01:24.120 and some credit Leonardo da Vinci with the inventing of the parachute.
00:01:28.900 He had drawn a picture of a cloth pyramid of wooden poles with the accompanying note.
00:01:34.000 If a man is provided with a length of gum-lined cloth,
00:01:37.740 with a length of 12 yards on each side and 12 yards high,
00:01:41.680 he can jump from any great height whatsoever without injury.
00:01:45.860 Whoever first conceptualized a parachute,
00:01:47.680 the first man to test it was a man named André Jacques Garnerin.
00:01:53.300 Garnerin, a Paris native, grew in fame as a balloonist in the newly invented hot air balloon.
00:02:01.020 Having experimented with the idea of a parachute, Garnerin had used animals initially to test a prototype,
00:02:07.400 but no human had dared risk a fall with a parachute.
00:02:11.780 Spectators that had arrived to view the event of Garnerin's first attempt of a drop with a parachute
00:02:16.740 noticed a gigantic umbrella folded on the ground next to the hot air balloon.
00:02:22.860 Garnerin inflated the balloon and scrambled into the basket.
00:02:26.560 The balloon rose quickly to 3,000 feet, where he recounted the following.
00:02:32.280 I was on the point of cutting the cord that suspended me between heaven and earth
00:02:36.960 and measured with my eye the vast space that separated me from the rest of the human race.
00:02:42.940 I felt myself precipitated with the velocity which was checked by a sudden unfolding of my parachute.
00:02:49.080 At length, I've received thousands of people, some on horseback, others on foot following me,
00:02:56.360 all of whom encouraged me by their wishes, while they opened their arms to receive me.
00:03:02.960 Some inventors have the good fortune of being received by men when the risks pay off.
00:03:08.500 When these men achieve success, they are welcomed like heroes.
00:03:12.680 Our guest today is a man who took tremendous risk to build something that didn't exist.
00:03:18.160 He sought success at great risk.
00:03:20.900 But unlike these other men, the more success he has had, the more is in danger.
00:03:27.860 The King's Hall Podcast exists to make self-ruled men who rule well and win the world.
00:03:39.040 Well, welcome back to another episode of the King's Hall Podcast.
00:03:43.580 I'm Brian Sauvé, joined with my good friends, Eric Kahn.
00:03:47.080 and say hi to the listeners, Eric.
00:03:48.120 Hey, hey, what's up?
00:03:49.200 Leroy Jenkins, Eric Kahn, same guy.
00:03:51.040 Same person, literally same person.
00:03:52.520 And of course, the man, the myth, the legend, Dan Brookholder.
00:03:55.840 I am also here.
00:03:57.920 And he is ecstatic.
00:03:59.360 And actually joining us in the King's Hall today,
00:04:03.160 as you already know from the cold open,
00:04:05.140 but joining us is the one and only Andrew Torba,
00:04:10.820 founder and creator of Gab.com
00:04:13.720 and many other amazing endeavors.
00:04:15.900 Thanks for joining us today, Mr. Torba.
00:04:17.960 Pleasure to be here.
00:04:18.980 This is actually like my favorite podcast right now.
00:04:21.440 So I'm very excited to be here and hanging out with you guys.
00:04:25.500 Well, we're honored.
00:04:26.400 And we do just want to say thank you for really pushing our videos on Gab TV there.
00:04:32.440 A lot of you guys have started listening over on Gab.
00:04:34.880 We finally got our whole back catalog loaded up there.
00:04:38.420 So, man, great.
00:04:39.640 Two birds, one stone.
00:04:40.660 Support a great Christian work.
00:04:42.360 And listen to King's Hall.
00:04:43.520 But, yeah, we're thankful for the help you've given us in getting the word out about the podcast.
00:04:49.340 Yeah, I mean, vice versa.
00:04:50.260 You guys are creating phenomenal content.
00:04:52.520 It's entertaining, educational.
00:04:55.540 It's certainly one of the best that I've heard in a while.
00:04:58.300 So happy to get the word out about it.
00:05:01.060 And hopefully you guys have gotten some more listeners from me sharing it and whatnot.
00:05:05.840 Yes, and not just new listeners, but the kind of listeners who are on the same page as us.
00:05:10.580 not hate listeners but people who are actually like let's yes new christendom amen let's go for
00:05:17.100 it full send so we we are appreciative and so we've been talking this season quite a bit about
00:05:22.660 the this idea of building the new christendom of going into the world identifying places where
00:05:29.680 culturally economically in the family the home the church that there have been green groves of
00:05:35.500 idolatry constructed where people have infiltrated the church and the world and the state and the
00:05:43.240 family and successfully discipled people in the image of false gods and to worship false gods.
00:05:50.000 And so this first season here in the King's Hall, we've been talking extensively about what those
00:05:56.000 centers of idolatry are, how to see and dismantle them and tear them down in the spirit of Phineas
00:06:02.620 and his spear or Gideon and the idols in his community, and then to not just go on offense
00:06:10.360 and knock stuff down, but to build, and to build really the new Christendom, put up this cathedral,
00:06:16.040 a stone at a time, generation after generation, trusting in the faithfulness of the Lord Jesus
00:06:21.580 Christ to build his church, and not just in the sphere of the church, but in every aspect
00:06:27.520 of what it means to be human. And as we've talked about this and then learned more about
00:06:34.040 Gab and what you've been building over at Gab and all of the different aspects of it,
00:06:38.700 because it's not just a social media platform. Maybe some listeners don't understand that.
00:06:42.260 There's a lot more we'll get into that Gab is about and doing. Really, we see that we're on
00:06:47.640 the same mission. We're really pursuing the same thing from different vectors. And so the first
00:06:54.780 question we wanted to ask you was just, can you tell us how what you're building at Gab pushes
00:06:59.700 that goal forward and why it is so essential that Christians do this hard work of taking ground,
00:07:06.440 creating own space economically, politically, in their communities, and really on every level?
00:07:12.620 Well, we see what happens when we don't do that, right? We see that our government is overrun by
00:07:19.160 secularists or by people who reject Christ. We see that our school system is the same thing. 0.75
00:07:24.780 technology, media, news, all of it has sort of been conquered by the secularists.
00:07:32.500 And, you know, what I saw back in 2016 was that Christians were being silenced and censorship
00:07:39.820 was starting to creep up. And, you know, being a Christian out in Silicon Valley and seeing how
00:07:44.920 these people think and seeing how these people treated me, you bring up Jesus and they look at
00:07:49.580 you like you got a tinfoil hat on, right? Like you're from outer space. But
00:07:54.760 you know, you could say other things, um, like a man in a dress is a woman and it's, uh, it's
00:08:00.160 normal. So, uh, you know, I, I saw the culture out there and I got to know how these people think.
00:08:04.620 And, um, you know, I, I sort of saw where they were going with things because I knew how they
00:08:08.900 thought. And I had been sort of immersed in their culture for many years, you know, trying to, uh,
00:08:14.300 make it in, in Silicon Valley and become the next Mark Zuckerberg or whatever. I was very focused
00:08:20.260 on, you know, doing that, and I wasn't walking as close with the Lord then, and, you know, it's just
00:08:25.480 incredible how he's used Gab to not only, you know, bring his people in fellowship, but, you know,
00:08:31.860 to bring me closer to him, too, through that project. So, you know, if we're going to build
00:08:36.800 a new Christendom, new Christendom needs the ability for Christians to communicate and to
00:08:43.020 engage in commerce with one another and to build one another up and, you know, share the Word of
00:08:49.760 God with one another and learn and disciple one another. In order to do that, we sort of have to
00:08:54.580 use technology. And I think anytime that we've been blessed with some new technology, the Lord
00:09:00.920 has always used it to sort of advance his kingdom, right? So whether it's ships or, you know, the
00:09:05.820 printing press or any matter of technology throughout history has always been sort of used
00:09:10.520 to advance the kingdom of God. And I think this is no different. So, you know, what we're building
00:09:15.680 at gab again as is not just a social network it's it's a community of god's people and and of
00:09:21.580 non-believers as well yeah um where people can come and and speak freely and um you know have
00:09:26.880 the protection of uh you know first the first amendment of the united states of america you
00:09:31.180 could say whatever you want as long as you're not threatening to kill someone as long as you're not
00:09:34.480 breaking uh the law uh you're allowed to stay in on gab um we don't allow you know it's not an
00:09:39.640 anarchist platform so i want to make that clear too you know you can't you can't post porn you
00:09:43.940 can't post threats of violence you can't break the law uh but if it's political speech um you know
00:09:49.600 you can you can post it um so we wanted a hands-off approach and and we wanted most of the
00:09:55.120 moderation uh to be done by the users themselves so if you don't like something and you could you
00:09:59.380 can mute someone you can unfollow them you can block them you don't have to watch what they're
00:10:02.860 saying um but they still have a right to to exist on the internet and to speak their mind
00:10:07.000 and we got a lot of flack for this especially from actually from fellow christians they're like
00:10:10.900 if you're a christian you know how can you allow these people to say all these horrible things
00:10:14.620 about you know different people from different races and different backgrounds and different
00:10:17.680 countries and whatever like how can you how can you allow that on your website and you know my
00:10:22.020 argument always is like how how are we going to reach these people with the gospel because if
00:10:25.720 they're shunned from society if they're not you know allowed on facebook if they're not allowed
00:10:29.800 on twitter and then they're not allowed on gab uh how are we going to share the gospel with them
00:10:33.660 how are we going to change their hearts and minds uh you know we're not going to if they're not
00:10:37.700 a lot to speak. If they're shoved into the corner of society, into the dark corner of society,
00:10:42.820 they're actually probably going to become even more radicalized and feel like that those beliefs
00:10:47.400 that they hold are even more true because everybody is kind of shutting them out. So
00:10:50.620 we want to have the opportunity for people to engage in dialogue and engage in commerce. And
00:10:56.000 that's a huge part of what Gab is building for the New Christendom is a place where Christians
00:11:00.840 can engage in fellowship and commerce and speak freely and build one another up. And hopefully,
00:11:06.200 You know, that's that's what's going on. And I think that we've done a great job and the Lord has blessed us.
00:11:11.700 We've certainly faced trials and I can I can get into that.
00:11:15.160 You know, we've we've been banned from the app stores and hosting providers and PayPal and banks.
00:11:19.940 You know, I've gotten multiple letters from Congress trying to intimidate me.
00:11:23.760 And we have the ADL and the SPLC, you know, Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the ADL,
00:11:30.100 you know, one of the most powerful lobbying and special interest groups in the world,
00:11:34.000 you know, goes on national television and says, I'm one of the most toxic people in public life
00:11:38.120 right now. That's a serious thing. It's sort of like a, you know, painting a big target on my
00:11:42.040 back. Right. But, you know, the Lord has, uh, been faithful, uh, you know, throughout all of
00:11:47.440 these trials and has helped us overcome these trials. And, um, that's the reason I don't fear
00:11:51.880 the regime. Like I don't fear Congress. I don't fear, you know, Facebook and Google and Apple,
00:11:56.200 you know, the biggest companies, multi trillion dollar multinational companies that are coming
00:12:00.180 after us and attacking us and these, you know, multinational, multi, huge, massive international
00:12:05.760 media companies that are smearing us and defaming us. And I don't fear any of it because I fear the
00:12:11.100 living God, right? Like he is so much greater than all of those things combined. So it's very
00:12:17.000 easy for me as a Christian grounded in my faith to, you know, stare into the eye of Sauron and
00:12:22.280 just say, bring it on, you know, like, so we've been through certainly a lot, but that's just
00:12:27.200 sort of a high-level overview of what we're building and why we're building it.
00:12:31.280 Yeah, it seems like if you're going to do anything where you say,
00:12:35.060 I'm a Christian, I'm not ashamed of Christ, and I'm actually building in Jesus' name,
00:12:40.300 even though you're not attempting to build a Christian ghetto with Gab, where it's just
00:12:46.320 only Christians allowed, only Christian speech, it's kind of the social media equivalent of
00:12:52.140 a Christian movie that only exists to have a gospel presentation at the end.
00:12:56.020 And you're not trying to do that, but even just the notion that you're going to be, I'm a Christian, I'm building this for the glory of Christ, we're going to allow explicitly Christian speech on this network.
00:13:09.260 We're not going to cancel people for saying that homosexuality is a sin.
00:13:13.060 We're not going to cancel people for noticing things that this demonic global, you know, hegemony is trying to perpetrate on the world in building the kingdom of darkness, which they're absolutely in league with.
00:13:26.460 No, we're just going to build what on paper when you describe it should be a pretty kind of boringly – like, yeah, of course we'd want people to be able to disagree and have free speech on the internet. 0.70
00:13:40.820 It seems like, from our perspective at least, and I'd be curious to get your perspective on this, it seems like any time a Christian tries to do something in the business world, the cultural world, the economic world, the publishing world, whatever it is, that is explicitly in Jesus' name, even if it's something that nobody should find controversial really on paper, that what they will immediately try to do is either co-opt you or compromise you. 0.73
00:14:06.660 And if they can't do that, then they will try to utterly destroy and discredit you.
00:14:12.740 Have you experienced, you know, you've talked a little bit about experiencing some of that.
00:14:16.100 What does that look like for you personally, for Gab?
00:14:18.960 How has that worked out?
00:14:20.580 Yeah, absolutely.
00:14:21.640 I, you know, I've had this come up in several interviews this week, actually.
00:14:25.640 And, you know, I've talked about it openly where, you know, when we first launched Gab,
00:14:29.540 We had, you know, the big money people, the big donor class in the Republican establishment, you know, tried to buy me out.
00:14:38.060 But there was condition, you know, this this free speech thing.
00:14:41.080 Yeah, you can't do that anymore.
00:14:42.920 When you're talking about certain things, just don't talk about this one thing over here or, you know, change your logo or change your mission statement or change your terms of service.
00:14:50.940 It always came with a cost.
00:14:52.880 And, you know, by the grace of God, I wasn't doing this for money.
00:14:56.740 Like, obviously, like we're running a business.
00:14:58.940 We want to be able to pay the bills and pay our employees and stuff.
00:15:01.520 That's common sense.
00:15:02.380 But that is not the core impetus of why I'm doing this.
00:15:06.600 If I wanted to make a ton of money, I would have just stayed in Silicon Valley, kept my
00:15:10.500 mouth shut, and continued building software companies that I flip every three years, which
00:15:15.060 is what everyone does out there, right?
00:15:17.040 That wasn't what this was about.
00:15:18.660 So they tried with the money thing, and that didn't work.
00:15:22.200 And then they tried defaming.
00:15:23.940 And it wasn't just a Republican establishment either.
00:15:26.180 It was the establishment in Silicon Valley.
00:15:28.000 They saw that we were getting some traction. They saw that the idea was good. They saw that
00:15:31.980 people were picking up with it and joining the platform and we were growing and exploding in
00:15:36.080 growth. So the money thing didn't work. And then the defamation started and the blacklisting
00:15:42.300 started. And it basically spread throughout Republican circles with all of the conservative
00:15:48.160 and Republican influencers that they weren't allowed to talk about Gab. They weren't allowed
00:15:52.540 to be on Gab. They weren't allowed to promote Gab. And not only that, that they would take
00:15:56.880 sort of a negative approach to Gab and stay away from it and virtue signal against it.
00:16:02.420 And then we started seeing, you know, these billionaires start to compete with us.
00:16:06.920 So you have the Mercer family and they come out with Parler and they say, we're the free
00:16:10.420 speech platform, right?
00:16:11.560 And it's like, so they try to co-op it, right?
00:16:14.380 They try to co-op, they see the traction that we're getting and the growth of our community.
00:16:18.600 And all of these billionaires started popping out of the woodwork first with Parler.
00:16:22.640 Then it was Getter, which is Miles Gao, who's the Chinese billionaire.
00:16:26.880 And, you know, even to a certain extent, President Trump with with his platform, you know, so we have three different billionaires, including one that's run by a former president, all trying to do what we're doing.
00:16:37.620 And, you know, it just it just the glory of God, right?
00:16:40.480 Like all three of them combined, if you take all their traffic, all their users, everything combined, don't add up to what GABA is at.
00:16:45.480 Right. So I just I think that's telling that, you know, even these billionaires and these people who try to co-op what we're doing, that didn't work either.
00:16:53.340 them defaming and smearing me personally and, you know, calling me a Nazi or an anti-Semite or a bigot or a racist or white nationalist or alt-right.
00:17:02.340 They tried every single label, trying to stick every single label to me and to the Gab community as a whole.
00:17:07.320 All of it failed. And then came the threats. Right. And then came the threats of violence.
00:17:11.620 So, you know, that's something that we deal with on sort of a week by week basis.
00:17:15.340 And it's unfortunate. But again, it's not something I'm going to fear.
00:17:18.560 You know, we deal with death threats all the time.
00:17:20.600 You know, the most horrific things that are posted aimed at my family and that my kids.
00:17:24.800 And again, it's it's meant to intimidate. Right. It's meant to get me to shut up.
00:17:28.860 It's meant to get me to stop building. But none of it works.
00:17:31.880 None of it works because I just I give it all up to God and I cling to the cross and we just keep plowing ahead and building.
00:17:38.580 And, you know, by the grace of God, we we're still standing and we're we're still growing and we're growing faster than any of those other sort of co-ops combined.
00:17:46.320 And I think that's a big part of that is because people are really searching for authenticity.
00:17:51.300 It's a big reason as to why I think I like your podcast so much is because it's just authentic.
00:17:56.020 It's real. It's not fake. It's not this corporate, you know, phony nonsense that is just heavily produced.
00:18:02.060 And it's just, you know, three normal guys that are having a real conversation about real things that real people are having those same conversations at the dinner table every night.
00:18:10.540 And I think the same thing about Gab is like people don't come there to look for this influencer or that influencer.
00:18:17.220 You know, it's it's it's they want to see what real people are saying and what real people think, because, you know, the enemy has has sort of convinced us of this lie that we're isolated and that, you know, the beliefs that we have, which are biblical, scriptural beliefs are taboo.
00:18:33.740 And, you know, we're in the minority. There's there's not many people that agree with us.
00:18:37.020 but that's just the opposite is true. Most normal people are having the same, are thinking the same
00:18:42.220 things that we're thinking. Many of them are too afraid to say them because they're afraid to lose
00:18:45.820 their job. They're afraid to, you know, lose family members or friends or whatever, but they
00:18:49.760 are thinking these things and they come to Gab and they say, wait a minute, there is a lot of people
00:18:53.780 here that see what I see and that think the same way that I think. And it sort of gives them that
00:18:58.220 hope, gives them access to more information that they can't get anywhere else, you know, whether
00:19:02.260 it's spiritual or political or just you know raw information um you know they can get that all on
00:19:07.820 gab um so i think that's that's part of the big reason why it's it's growing in popularity and
00:19:12.360 will it will continue to going forward too for the project of this season to be successful the
00:19:18.900 project of seeing a new christendom built there will need to be thousands and thousands of
00:19:23.360 christian men and women who are equipped to stand for the truth of scripture against the errors of
00:19:28.180 both the liberal church and the pagan culture. This is one reason we're so glad to be partnering
00:19:33.680 with our sponsor for this season, Reformation Heritage Books. Reformation Heritage Books
00:19:38.500 offers a large selection of helpful and theologically rigorous resources on everything
00:19:43.900 from biblical theology to history to blue-collar family discipleship, the type of library and
00:19:50.020 resources that could make the kind of men and women I just described grounded in the rich
00:19:54.940 heritage of the Reformed faith. We'd like to highlight one resource in particular,
00:19:59.600 their Family Worship Bible Guide, that presents rich devotional thoughts on all 1,189 chapters
00:20:05.980 of the Bible, including searching questions to promote conversation and to help you in leading
00:20:10.900 your family in such a way as to say with Joshua, as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

00:20:19.640 yeah that's awesome andrew one of the things that i think that has happened to you because
00:20:25.300 of all the attacks and everything that we've you know we've seen it's kind of public i think a lot
00:20:29.560 of people have gotten sort of a look under the hood right gone down the rabbit hole a little
00:20:33.400 bit with you i'm sure you've been farther down it than any of us but there have been a lot of
00:20:38.720 people who are saying look this looks like a concerted effort right a coordinated massive
00:20:43.080 globalist cabal you know some of the things that we would say in years past even i you know 10
00:20:47.380 years ago, I said, eh, maybe it's a little bit of a conspiracy theory. But I just want to get
00:20:51.320 your take on that. Is there a massive coordinated global effort to despise and destroy Christendom?
00:21:04.140 In 2023, Indigo Sundries became one of our sponsors. At the time, their business was little
00:21:09.040 more than a side hobby, generating a couple hundred dollars a month. But because of their
00:21:12.860 partnership with us, and because all of you chose to support them, they've grown enough to make it
00:21:16.720 their full-time livelihood. This is what happens when Christians support Christians. Our communities 0.81
00:21:20.820 are strengthened and faithful businesses thrive. So if you're a Christian business owner who wants 1.00
00:21:24.980 to reach thousands of like-minded people and grow your company, we'd love to partner with you.
00:21:29.300 Email us at advertising at newchristendompress.com.
00:21:38.260 Absolutely. I mean, it's unequivocal, right? It's unequivocal that Christ is the enemy,
00:21:43.520 His people are the enemy. 0.85
00:21:45.200 The family is the enemy. 0.97
00:21:46.840 All of God's established order for reality, for existence, is their enemy.
00:21:53.340 You know, they're attacking the family. 0.95
00:21:54.720 They're attacking the church. 0.78
00:21:56.160 They're attacking the biblical worldview.
00:21:58.220 And, you know, it doesn't even have to be that they're working sort of together.
00:22:02.060 Like, I don't think it's a conspiracy in that they all, like, have these, like, secret meetings.
00:22:07.580 And, you know, even though they do, right, like, they have Bilderberg.
00:22:10.460 They have the World Economic Forum.
00:22:11.680 I'm like, there is some sort of cohesion there, but it's more or less, it's about worldview.
00:22:17.280 And in order to understand the worldview that we're up against, the way that I like to paint
00:22:21.180 it is that, you know, we have the biblical, scriptural, pro-God, pro-humanity worldview,
00:22:27.000 pro-life worldview.
00:22:28.820 Their worldview is the total opposite of that.
00:22:31.260 It is anti-human.
00:22:32.700 It is anti-God.
00:22:34.260 In fact, they want to become gods. 1.00
00:22:36.320 And this is the thing that I've been talking about transhumanism so much over the past
00:22:39.960 couple of years because, again, I understand how these guys in Silicon Valley think. They want to
00:22:44.740 become God. The big race, you know, everybody's, you know, sort of distracted with the nuance of 0.83
00:22:50.100 politics and the day-to-day and this election cycle and that election cycle. But what they're
00:22:56.140 really focused on sort of behind the scenes is becoming gods and transcending humanity.
00:23:01.720 They believe that they can inject the soul into, you know, another organism or into a robot or
00:23:06.840 into, you know, the global consciousness of the internet or, you know, there's many different
00:23:10.780 takes on it, but that's their end goal is to become gods. It's sort of the new space race to
00:23:15.880 them is, you know, who can plant the chip in the brain and transfer the consciousness or the soul
00:23:22.540 to, you know, and transcend human biology to become a god because whoever does it first in
00:23:28.040 their minds is going to become sort of the ruler of the rest of us. So that's what they're focused
00:23:33.460 on. And of course, they're going to fail. And, you know, we've seen this in the biblical narrative
00:23:38.020 from, you know, Genesis, right? You know, man trying to become God, you know, from the Tower
00:23:43.960 of Bible and onward. And man always falls. And God has sovereign authority over everything that
00:23:49.800 they are doing right now. So what we have to do is present sort of this very clear dichotomy
00:23:54.480 in difference of worldview. You know, again, our worldview is pro-God, pro-life, pro-human,
00:23:59.640 pro-humanity, and theirs is pro-death and pro or anti-God and anti-Christ, and is them trying to
00:24:08.320 become gods. We're trying to worship God, and they're trying to become God, and they will fail,
00:24:13.540 but that, if you look at the high level of their worldview and of their ultimate agenda,
00:24:18.780 it sort of makes sense why they have to get God out of the way, because in order to become gods,
00:24:23.540 you know, if we're gonna, if they're gonna have all of us worship them, well, they gotta get God
00:24:27.180 out of the way in order for that to happen right so that that makes sense when you understand what
00:24:31.100 their end goal is which is sort of transcending humanity and becoming gods um and i think that's
00:24:35.900 part of a big reason why they're they're pushing the normalize that to normalize you know even some
00:24:41.360 of these netflix shows that they have where they're already doing this right where you can
00:24:45.140 like sort of switch bodies and and switch consciousness and there's all sorts of narratives
00:24:49.560 around that that are uh you know sort of meant to be predictive programming for where they're
00:24:53.880 taking things. And when we understand that that's their end view, we can sort of combat it better
00:24:58.740 and present the alternative, which is, no, we're going to fight for humanity. We're going to fight
00:25:03.420 for Christ. We're going to fight to defend Christendom and rebuild from scratch. You know,
00:25:08.380 Gab itself, I've sort of made this moniker Gab, G-A-B, go and build, right? Like we have to go
00:25:13.820 and build. We can't just, you know, we can't just sit here idly and watch the world melt down around
00:25:18.500 us. Christ is king on the throne right now. He gave us one mission, which is the Great Commission,
00:25:22.860 to go forth and disciple all nations.
00:25:25.460 And that's what we need to do.
00:25:26.880 And in order to do that, we're going to need tools, right?
00:25:29.100 We're going to need technology.
00:25:30.260 We're going to need communication tools.
00:25:31.880 We're going to need access to information and media and news and education and healthcare.
00:25:36.100 So we need to rebuild all of it sort of from scratch, you know, with Christ as the firm
00:25:40.780 foundation that we're building upon.
00:25:42.600 Yeah.
00:25:42.740 So you've talked about how much resistance you've received from all of these globalist
00:25:47.880 companies and from these billionaires.
00:25:49.880 And obviously they don't want Gab to exist.
00:25:51.980 They hate Christ. They hate your messaging and they hate the community of Gab and they want to shut it up. And so it's made it very difficult for you to do business with, I mean, banks is one of the examples that you've given. Where do you see the greatest opportunity for Christians to do kind of like frontier economic work like you've done yourself?
00:26:13.900 What other industries and what other businesses do you see as opportunities for Christians to really go forward, take some risk, and to start those Christian businesses?
00:26:24.280 Yeah, education and health care are two of the biggest ones.
00:26:27.280 Homeschooling is absolutely exploding right now, especially after COVID.
00:26:30.720 You know, there's a great need for resources and curriculums and content and tutors.
00:26:37.500 And, you know, there's infinite number of opportunities there.
00:26:42.400 And then also in healthcare and for the same reasons, you know, because there are so many people in the healthcare industry that, you know, got fired for refusing the jab or, you know, have a different philosophy in terms of treatment and actually care about the patients versus, you know, caring about making money from big pharma or, you know, following what the regime says, right?
00:27:01.800 So those are the two big areas that I see as a big need right now.
00:27:05.860 And hopefully there's going to be some more people rising up.
00:27:08.220 Like I can't do it all, right?
00:27:09.200 Like I'm tackling, you know, payment processing and social media and content and video processing
00:27:15.840 and, you know, a lot of stuff, right?
00:27:18.120 And at some point you have to say, okay, we need to focus on like what we're good at
00:27:22.340 and really, you know, nail that.
00:27:24.820 And in doing that, we can also empower other people to hit into these other areas that,
00:27:30.600 you know, I would like to see other people and other entrepreneurs, other Christian entrepreneurs
00:27:35.240 jump into. So education is a huge one. Healthcare is another big one, but really it's, it's,
00:27:41.300 it's sort of like, you know, fertile ground, right. You know, we're, we're at the ground
00:27:45.220 floor here. So if you have an idea, you know, if you want to start a Christian news company,
00:27:50.200 if you want to start, you know, just creating wholesome Christian content, I think that's
00:27:54.360 another big one is like, you know, content for kids, you know, because so much of it is so 0.99
00:27:59.200 degenerate and worldly and secular that we need more options. We need more options. And I think,
00:28:05.120 you know, Canon, you guys, there are certainly people that are entering in that space and Lord
00:28:10.420 willing, there will be more, but the opportunities are endless. You know, we need technology. We need
00:28:16.280 education. We need healthcare. We need payment processing. We need banking. We need all of it.
00:28:23.040 We have to build up from the ground floor and build on the base of Christ or else the same
00:28:28.480 is going to happen again, right? Like we see what happens when we just are passive. You know,
00:28:34.660 part of being a man is rejecting passivity. So now is the time to build and now is the time to
00:28:39.640 get your hands dirty and to take risks and to build something, build something.
00:28:44.740 Yeah. And actually that's one of the phrases and concepts that I think is the most powerful about
00:28:52.000 some of what you're doing with Gab is the idea of parallel economy, where if we're going to
00:28:58.320 establish Christendom, it's not just about retaking institutions that exist. It's also
00:29:04.400 about saying, well, if that institution was built once, and maybe it was conquered a long time ago
00:29:08.780 by pagans, it can be built again. It can be built again by Christians. In fact, once you recognize
00:29:15.200 that all of the great institutions in human society, from education to healthcare to technology, 0.99
00:29:21.940 Christians are the ones who did those things.
00:29:24.620 We made those things.
00:29:26.540 And all it takes, I think, is for Christians, Christian men in particular, to be men of courage and creativity and competence.
00:29:34.920 So they're doing things well.
00:29:36.620 They're doing things where they can't be co-opted because they're not scared.
00:29:40.280 They fear God.
00:29:41.120 They don't fear men.
00:29:42.860 And they're doing it creatively.
00:29:44.340 They're going and saying, you know, and almost suspending a little bit of the disbelief of like, oh, but we couldn't possibly build a social media company.
00:29:53.400 Look how many people Facebook has. 0.98
00:29:55.560 And then you go, well, what if we just acted like idiots for a day and said, maybe we could, right? 0.98
00:30:00.920 What if we actually just said, what if we were foolish enough to think maybe we could build a new healthcare industry? 0.98
00:30:07.320 Like, what if we were foolish enough to say, maybe we could build an entire new content creation platform?
00:30:13.760 that would make sitcoms and films and documentaries and music
00:30:16.920 that wasn't all just a vehicle for a gospel presentation,
00:30:19.720 but that was just good human culture and art
00:30:22.900 done heartily as for the Lord and not for men.
00:30:27.320 And so I think that's really captivated and driven,
00:30:30.640 even behind the scenes, a lot of what we are aiming to do
00:30:34.080 with the King's Hall, which is like not just a podcast.
00:30:36.340 We're building a publishing company.
00:30:39.080 We're looking to get some of these ideas and ethos
00:30:43.040 put into, you know, lots of different vehicles and cultural artifacts and in channels. So,
00:30:50.280 you know, to us, I think, and guys, maybe I'm just riffing at this point, you kind of got me
00:30:55.540 thinking about this out loud a little bit. But that parallel economy, I just think that has to
00:31:00.640 be one of the biggest keys to the new Christendom. Absolutely. Yeah, without a doubt. I mean,
00:31:06.240 because we've been sort of shut out of the mainline economy of the secular economy. You know,
00:31:12.020 they've told us we're not welcome they have all their rainbow flags uh they have their multiple 1.00
00:31:16.320 pride months and pride weeks and they celebrate uh you know the murder of children and all of
00:31:22.100 their values are diametrically opposed to to all of our biblical values that come from god so uh
00:31:26.880 you know we have no choice at this point but but to rebuild and to your point all of the institutions
00:31:31.180 of today were absolutely started by christians you know from colleges to hospitals you know it's
00:31:35.940 it's uh to even technology um so it's it's like you know we can do this again because we've done
00:31:40.580 it before, we have to remember who we were, who we are, and who we always will be, right? You know,
00:31:47.660 we are peculiar people, and God has set us apart to do great things for His glory. And I think,
00:31:54.460 especially in American Christianity, and, you know, we talk about this in the book a little bit,
00:31:58.480 you know, we have this sort of doomer mindset where, you know, because of our flawed eschatology
00:32:04.140 that has just spread like a cancer over the past 150 years throughout American Christendom,
00:32:09.140 And we just look for things that are bad and we celebrate them as good.
00:32:14.040 Well, there's a word going on.
00:32:15.560 So that means that Christ is going to return any minute now.
00:32:17.920 Right. 0.95
00:32:18.080 So that's actually a good thing.
00:32:19.060 So all I have to do is just kind of sit around and wait and don't build anything and don't create the most beautiful art the world has ever seen has come out of Christendom.
00:32:26.900 right? The most beautiful buildings, you know, colleges and massive hospitals and all these
00:32:33.740 God-glorifying things, beautiful cities, the most beautiful cities and buildings the world has ever
00:32:38.620 seen have come from Christians that we're building for the glory of God. And we don't see that 1.00
00:32:42.580 anymore. And the reason we don't see it anymore is because we have this doom and gloom mindset
00:32:46.520 where Satan controls this world. He has total run of this world. There's nothing we can do about it,
00:32:52.360 but just kind of sit around and wait to die and wait for Christ to return. That type of mindset
00:32:56.520 is why I think Christians haven't been building for quite some time. But if we can remind Christians 1.00
00:33:01.920 of this is not historically who we were. This is not who, you know, God wants us to be. You know,
00:33:08.100 we gave us one mission, right? It's, you know, it's very clear. And the way that we accomplish
00:33:14.380 that mission is by building and getting involved in the culture and getting involved in politics
00:33:18.580 and getting involved in entertainment and news and every facet of society, all of Christ for all
00:33:23.260 of life, right? So I think in order to do that, we have to sort of reframe how we're thinking about
00:33:29.360 who we are and our history and who the Bible tells us to be. So that's a big part of what
00:33:36.260 we're trying to do too, is just introduce Christians to like, hey, there's another way
00:33:40.380 to think about eschatology. There's another way to think about how we're to engage in public
00:33:46.220 discourse and how we're to get involved in political life and in the culture. And I think
00:33:51.620 we've sat by the sidelines for far too long. The Christian man is sort of waking up from his long 0.99
00:33:56.940 slumber. And when that happens, by the tens of millions, great things are going to happen. So
00:34:03.820 that's what we're trying to awaken. We're trying to awaken the body of Christ and say,
00:34:08.240 we have to remember. We have to remember who we are and who God wants us to be and think about
00:34:12.020 things a little bit differently and a little bit more optimistically too. And it's, you know,
00:34:16.220 to your point, one of the keys for us, I think, in all coming from, I think all of us in some 0.97
00:34:22.820 degree, including you, if I'm not mistaken, came from this default Christian view of defeatism,
00:34:28.880 pessimism. I grew up in that. I mean, my Bible schooling was through even that, but all my 0.92
00:34:34.880 assignments were, you know, interpret Daniel to show why the world's going to end in the next
00:34:39.820 15 minutes. I mean, that's what I call it. I call it the left behind eschatology, right? I mean,
00:34:45.720 i grew up with that i mean that's what i grew up believing that's what i was taught
00:34:48.840 so i have empathy for for our brothers and sisters who are still sort of like caught up in that
00:34:53.700 because it's all they know it's all they've ever known um you know in in order to uh you know
00:34:58.540 introduce them to these new concepts we sort of have to have patience and empathy right because
00:35:03.000 we we were ourselves just like that we believed all the things they believed until we were
00:35:07.420 introduced to hey there's a new way there's a different way it's not even necessarily a new
00:35:10.760 way it's just a different way to think about it it's a much more positive thing i mean christ
00:35:15.360 won over death like it's a victorious thing it's it's a it's a thing to uh be optimistic about it's
00:35:21.760 not a thing to like no wonder the church is not attracting men like what's attractive about like
00:35:27.840 okay you accept jesus christ as your lord and savior and it's like now what well now you just
00:35:31.720 sit around and wait to die and go to heaven like that's not too enticing to men right i mean but
00:35:36.820 if it's like hey we're we're gonna we're gonna disciple all nations and we're gonna build things
00:35:41.220 for the glory of God. And we're going to raise up our children to, to, to love the Lord and honor
00:35:45.700 the Lord. Like you start saying these things and it's like, okay, like I can get behind that. Like
00:35:50.080 this is, this is something that's bigger than me. This is something that's glorifying God. There's
00:35:53.820 sort of a bigger overarching mission here versus just like kind of around and getting stomped on
00:35:59.200 by, by Satan as, as Chilton would say. Yeah. And even like, Hey, yeah, you're, you're saved now.
00:36:05.660 Jesus has forgiven your sin. He's going to come back any second and kind of fix everything here.
00:36:11.220 Don't worry about it.
00:36:12.100 But by the way, also, everything's your fault, men. 0.53
00:36:14.860 Like your marriage is all your fault. 0.55
00:36:17.140 Everything's your fault. 1.00
00:36:18.580 Your wives are basically sinless. 1.00
00:36:20.580 They've probably never done anything wrong ever. 1.00
00:36:23.140 You know, like you just start.
00:36:24.640 Oh, and also, can you sing this song now to a guy in skinny jeans?
00:36:28.400 He's going to be singing really high.
00:36:29.840 You won't even be able to hit the notes.
00:36:31.200 It's going to be really embarrassing for you, but it's all for the Lord.
00:36:34.680 It's all for the Lord.
00:36:36.420 Yeah, this unmasculated church, it's just, it's not, that is why men are leaving.
00:36:40.800 And that is why men are not attracted to the church.
00:36:43.320 And, you know, you look at the Psalms and, you know, you see like these these sort of battle hymns for the Lord.
00:36:47.840 And it's like, OK, I can get behind that.
00:36:49.720 Like, you know, that's that's the good stuff.
00:36:52.020 Send me some of that stuff or, you know, give me a mission that is greater than myself.
00:36:56.420 Like that's what every man ultimately wants is something bigger than himself to fight for.
00:36:59.900 Right. And whether that's his family, God, a combination of those those two.
00:37:03.800 if we give men that mindset, and that is a biblical mindset, I think they'll be more open to
00:37:10.240 turning away from the madness of the world and all that the world has to offer and turning back to
00:37:15.300 God. And when you understand that the fundamental nature of the gospel, the good news of the
00:37:22.780 kingdom of God, is like you said, that Christ has conquered. He's conquered your sin. He's
00:37:28.540 certainly forgiven all of your sin. He's certainly pronounced you clean and justified you and given
00:37:34.340 you a new heart. And he's done those things so that you can actually grace restores and perfects
00:37:39.920 nature so that you can return to what you were created to do. Because what you've been is you've
00:37:44.600 been an engine out of gear. You've been spinning your wheels and going nowhere because you weren't
00:37:48.780 living your life for the glory of God and for the mission of God. But now, guess what? The kingdom
00:37:54.520 of God to people, we're leaven. We're going to go out and we're going to pollute everything.
00:37:58.560 We're going to go and we're going to leaven the whole lump. We're going to, and like not restricting
00:38:02.620 that to, we're going to leaven Sunday mornings between 9am and 1130am. That's what we're going
00:38:08.840 to leaven. No, we're going to leaven the economy. We're going to leaven politics. We're going to
00:38:12.620 leaven entertainment. We're going to leaven business. We're going to leaven like shower
00:38:16.700 glass door companies and tech companies and, you know, we're going to do all of it, you know,
00:38:22.340 go and go and we tell men this all the time go and be a glory like don't go and be the false glory of 0.99
00:38:28.720 this loser who thinks that he's god that's stupid that's transhumanist secular post-millennial cope 1.00
00:38:34.880 like that's a waste of your time don't go do that that's what the pagans are doing they're just 1.00
00:38:39.360 going to kill them they're ultimately going to build a tower of babel and then the lord is going 0.95
00:38:42.760 to confuse all of their languages and he's going to embarrass them and then they're going to wander 1.00
00:38:46.320 around like idiots for a while while the christians go and take take the the rubble of what they try 0.99
00:38:50.600 to build and do something meaningful with it so it's like when men particularly have the gospel 1.00
00:38:56.080 of the kingdom correct at the middle i do think it just gives them courage to go and say yeah i
00:39:02.320 don't care what these the fact that these guys all hate me like for you to say wow the fact that
00:39:07.600 literally everybody on the other team hates me probably means that i'm succeeding wow praise 0.95
00:39:14.680 god they all think i'm a loser well they're actually losers so i mean their approval would
00:39:20.600 be failure if they were like if tomorrow all of the big news companies were like hey guys we were 0.97
00:39:25.200 wrong go sign up for gab you should do some serious you know introspection and be like you
00:39:30.400 would know that i was i was controlled then yeah what have i done what happened to torba
00:39:34.020 yes and then then you see me next week on a on a flight to israel you know at the wall
00:39:40.320 Oh, man.
00:39:41.240 You know it's over.
00:39:42.080 It's game over.
00:39:42.960 Game over.
00:39:43.820 So, Mr. Torba, you've got the audacity to say, hey, Christ is Lord.
00:39:47.560 Therefore, I'm going to take on big social media, right?
00:39:51.100 Right.
00:39:51.360 And you knew going into this, you're like, well, there are going to be certain people that hate me, like the obvious players.
00:39:56.860 Like Facebook's not going to like you.
00:39:58.700 Twitter's not going to like you.
00:40:00.260 The liberal establishment is not going to like you.
00:40:02.340 I'm just curious.
00:40:03.220 who did you think would be on your team or at least switzerland that ended up attacking you
00:40:08.760 that's maybe surprised you it's a good question um none of it has surprised me honestly uh
00:40:15.160 it's uh i i sort of knew going into this that i would i would have a lot of enemies i didn't you
00:40:21.700 know what actually what did surprise me was sort of like the republican establishment like because
00:40:26.480 i actually believe that those guys sort of shared my values like i you know to me as as an american
00:40:32.400 Like to say that I'm going to build this platform where you could have free speech, you know, protected by the First Amendment, which is that's just like, you know, it should be a core, you know, no brainer for any person that calls themselves a Republican.
00:40:45.300 But what you find in the Republican establishment is actually a bunch of libertarians, which, again, you would think would support the free speech aspect.
00:40:52.840 But then they don't because you find out that free speech means that their donors can be criticized and their donors don't like free speech.
00:41:00.200 So that, you know, once you figure out sort of how the mechanism of how the upper echelon of our political system works, it all goes back to the donors and the donors don't support free speech.
00:41:10.900 They don't want people talking about them.
00:41:12.820 They don't want people talking about the amount of money that they're giving to politicians on both the left and the right and the amount of influence that they have over those said politicians.
00:41:21.140 So that sort of surprised me is once I started navigating through the upper echelons of of both Silicon Valley and the Republican establishment, God protected me, though.
00:41:31.280 It was so incredible. Like they tried to co-op me. They tried to buy me. They tried to threaten me.
00:41:35.480 And through it all, like I'm looking back and I just see a host of angels and the Holy Spirit just surrounding me with a veil of protection that in some certain, like in some circumstances, it's like unthinkable that I got out alive in some of those situations without, you know, being incredibly tempted and not saying that I wasn't because I was.
00:41:56.820 It's, you know, when someone, you know, sort of hands you a blank check, of course, it's enticing, like it's going to change my life, it'll change my family's life, it'll change the business's life. But, you know, being able to say no to that, that is where there's actual empowerment is, no, I don't need this.
00:42:13.180 You know, I serve the creator of the universe. I'm not doing this for money. I'm doing this for a bigger purpose than myself. And it's much bigger than money and it's much bigger than any political power or, you know, you want to make me this big influencer, this big name. I don't care about that. You know, my ego doesn't care about that. I don't care about the money.
00:42:32.000 So when all that stuff, again, didn't work, that's when it got to the nasty stuff, which is the threats, the intimidation, you know, the defamation, all that sort of stuff.
00:42:40.920 But through it all, I just I look back. That's probably going to have to be my next book is writing every example of of just God's intervention.
00:42:49.080 So clear divine intervention in these moments where just a veil of protection, you know, came around me and protected me from that darkness.
00:42:58.140 And all glory to God for that, because, you know, I'm I'm just a man. Right.
00:43:02.280 I, you know, I get tempted and I sinned, too. I said this the other day, like a big, dumb idiot. 1.00
00:43:06.800 I sin every single day and every day my loving father forgives me and has patience and is willing to show me love and grace. 1.00
00:43:14.060 And I'm so thankful for that, because, you know, being out in the world and the upper echelons of power, rubbing elbows with, you know, the big who's who of Silicon Valley and the big who's who of the Republican political establishment.
00:43:25.780 it was all very you know enticing and and very tempting and you know to be able to turn my back
00:43:31.760 to that and say no no i'm just going to build i'm going to focus on what i'm doing they're not going
00:43:35.100 to subvert me they're not going to undermine uh the work that we're doing here we're going to stay
00:43:39.000 true to the mission of what we started and um no amount of money is going to change that no amount
00:43:44.100 of threats are going to change that no amount of blackmail no amount of you know name calling none
00:43:49.020 of that is going to change anything they really really don't like me because of that because
00:43:52.820 They cannot control me. They can't buy me. They can't scare me. They can't control me. And that is what being a God-fearing man in a position of stewardship and of responsibility looks like. That is what they fear more than anything is the man that cannot be bought, that cannot be intimidated, you know, and that cannot be owned or tempted with the vice of the world.
00:44:17.220 because that's, that's not what we're doing here. That's, it's, it's, it's a much bigger mission.
00:44:21.720 And, you know, all glory to God. I see the fruits of that, right? I see the fruits of that decision
00:44:27.240 every day where we see people on Gab that are saying, Hey, you know, I just read your book and
00:44:32.140 I went back to church for the first time in 20 years. Or, you know, I started going back to
00:44:36.500 church six months ago after I got on Gab and started, you know, talking with other Christians
00:44:40.640 and I got baptized this week. Like I see those stories constantly. People are writing me letters
00:44:45.480 They're sending me DMs and, you know, sharing how they're getting closer to God or how, you know, their faith has strengthened since being on Gab.
00:44:52.700 Like we're seeing these things every day and the fruit is there.
00:44:55.220 And I'm seeing it even in my own church where our church is growing so fast right now that we actually have to expand our parking lot because there's no parking spaces.
00:45:02.460 Like the pastor's like, please, guys, carpool, like come to church together because there's no parking spaces.
00:45:08.520 Like all glory to God. That's incredible.
00:45:10.420 You know, we're having we're having baptisms every other week and new members and child dedications.
00:45:14.900 And it's just like, this is incredible what God is doing.
00:45:17.940 And, you know, if you're stuck in this media bubble on both the left and the right, whether it's CNN or Fox News, you know, take your pick of poison.
00:45:25.460 You know, you're going to think that the world is ending.
00:45:27.960 And that's a good thing, by the way. 1.00
00:45:29.940 That's the mindset that so many Christians have. 0.98
00:45:32.080 And it's just maddening. 0.99
00:45:33.200 So I'm trying to wake people up to that and say, like, we don't have to think this way.
00:45:37.320 And you don't have to live in this bubble of constant fear.
00:45:41.440 And we serve the creator God.
00:45:43.760 What do you have to fear? 0.84
00:45:45.500 Like, you know, like we built the most magnificent countries, the most magnificent buildings, the most beautiful art, the most amazing, incredible technology and science, by the way, you know, also dominated by Christians throughout all of history.
00:45:59.340 So it's like we have done all these incredible things when we were doing them for the glory of God and we remembered, again, who we were and who we are and who we always will be.
00:46:09.020 And that's a peculiar people and a holy nation.
00:46:11.540 So we need to remember that.
00:46:12.640 We need to get back to that.
00:46:13.620 christendom bible college offers a one-year certificate in the humanities for students
00:46:19.000 who intend to pursue a degree or for students who prefer to begin their chosen occupations
00:46:23.640 upon completion of our program older students who never attended college or who went to a college
00:46:29.260 where the humanities were less robust will also find our program stimulating and suitable located
00:46:35.240 steps from the ohio river and the town of new richmond we're unaccredited in order to remain
00:46:40.380 free to teach as our biblically-minded consciences demand. As servants of Christ, we won't wear the
00:46:47.240 yoke of the woke. Instead, we stand on the shoulders of Christianity's giants, not to
00:46:52.760 stew in nostalgia, but to see through the culture war's fog, for the glorious days of a Christendom
00:46:58.400 still to be built. Our exceptional faculty are committed to the historic, biblical foundations
00:47:03.680 of our faith. Come be a part of Christendom Bible College. Visit us on the web at

00:47:15.880 and receive your free three-chapter excerpt of our very own Dr. Frank J. Smith's new book,
00:47:21.840 Race, Church, and Society.
00:47:27.200 And when you see, I think, that it's really only two options. It really is Christ and Christendom
00:47:35.560 and everything that Christ will build as the orderer of the universe,
00:47:40.000 as the one who holds all things together,
00:47:41.920 the one who literally wrote the laws of reality, the rules of reality.
00:47:47.400 All facts are contained in Christ, every point of knowledge.
00:47:51.000 The fear of God is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom,
00:47:53.600 knowing things and knowing what to do about things.
00:47:55.820 And you can either have that everywhere in science and art and media and business,
00:47:59.600 or you can have chaos where people are trying to be their own gods.
00:48:03.780 You can try to have, you know, I'm going to be whatever I say I am. I'm going to shirk all of his rules. And I'm going to say, well, now we're going to build ugly, brutalist architecture to the glory of secularism. And everyone hates it. And it's going to be cold and depressing and destroy humanity.
00:48:20.040 And it's like, really, there are only two paths. And even politically, I think one of the big movements that we've seen that I'm excited about, to be honest, that I see developing is this realization among Christians that that is also true about politics. 0.91
00:48:36.540 that we can't have this libertarian fever dream
00:48:39.680 where we'll have this totally neutral secular public space
00:48:43.180 where everyone will just agree somehow
00:48:45.340 by some unknown mechanism
00:48:47.020 that logic is real
00:48:49.680 and that the rules are
00:48:50.620 that we should all be nice to each other
00:48:52.400 and not kill each other
00:48:53.100 and no one's God is going to be in charge
00:48:55.220 it's like no, someone's God is going to be in charge
00:48:57.480 so even like your book that you just wrote
00:48:59.980 with our friend Andrew Isker
00:49:01.920 Pastor Andrew Isker
00:49:03.240 Christian Nationalism
00:49:04.860 See, you guys, again, pushing your weight behind that, saying, yes, if America is going to be or if any nation is going to truly be great, a place of freedom, a place where people can flourish and just be human beings, it's going to be a Christian nation.
00:49:22.980 So tell us about that book. 0.63
00:49:24.520 Why did you write it?
00:49:25.260 What were you hoping to accomplish?
00:49:26.660 How has it gone?
00:49:28.240 It seems like it's, you know, based on the Amazon charts, it seems like it's made some waves.
00:49:34.000 Yeah, it's a it's it's a bestseller. You know, we've sold tens of thousands of copies. It's, you know, only been out a couple of weeks. Far exceeded, you know, our expectations and all glory to God for that.
00:49:44.320 But I thought we'd sell a couple thousand to the Gab community, and it might make a little bit of a blip.
00:49:50.540 But it's sort of broken outside of the Gab community and into the academic sphere.
00:49:57.260 And who we're really making upset is all these folks who have written countless, endless books that are against Christian nationalism and that are trying to defame Christians and defame this concept of Christian nationalism.
00:50:09.340 So, you know, we saw this term being thrown around and sort of attempted to be co-opted.
00:50:14.640 And, you know, the way that they were co-opting it was they were trying to paint all Bible-believing, you know, Orthodox Christians as something that we're not.
00:50:23.380 You know, so we said we're going to take this term, we're going to run with it, we're going to own it, and we're going to define the terms.
00:50:27.980 And if you read the book, it's not about, you know, this hostile political takeover and insurrection. 0.75
00:50:33.920 It's just like, you know, you're a Christian in this world.
00:50:36.500 And like you said, you have two choices.
00:50:37.900 You can be ruled by God-fearing men, or you can be ruled by people who hate and reject Jesus Christ and are therefore anti-Christ.
00:50:45.760 Those are the only two options that we have.
00:50:48.500 So, you know, we've come to sort of this crossroads where Christians are sort of waking up to the fact that there are only two choices and that it's time to decide. 0.58
00:50:58.120 Me, as for me, and for Pastor Isker, you know, we're both fathers.
00:51:03.460 And, you know, this is one of the things that I sort of get across is like, what sort of legacy am I leaving for not only my children, but like my great, great, great, great grandchildren, right?
00:51:13.900 Like, you know, I think for too many people, especially in America and in American politics, we're so focused on like these four-year election cycles, like these dog and pony shows.
00:51:23.520 Like we need to start thinking in like decades and in centuries, right?
00:51:27.480 What are we building now?
00:51:28.800 What is the groundwork that we're laying now to, you know, protect and preserve and build Christendom, you know, for the next 500 years?
00:51:36.820 And that all goes back to sort of this, you know, negative, pessimistic, doomer sort of eschatology where why are you going to think about the next 500 years when, you know, Christ is going to come back any second now?
00:51:48.720 Well, suppose that he doesn't.
00:51:50.780 suppose that he comes back 10,000 years from now, right? What then? We have to live here now
00:51:57.300 for the next 10,000 years. And, you know, our kids and our great grandkids and our whole
00:52:02.160 prodigy has to live here. So, you know, we have to start thinking like, yes, we look forward to
00:52:08.620 the glorious return of Christ, but, you know, the Bible tells us that no one knows that they are
00:52:12.100 ours. So until then, like, let's build for the glory of God and let's disciple the nations as
00:52:16.980 we've been commanded for the glory of god um so you know that's that's a high level overview of
00:52:22.280 some of the stuff that we're talking about but we also sort of go back to the the the true christian
00:52:27.060 roots of the founding of the american people and of the american uh nation which is not you know
00:52:32.100 1776 is sort of the trap as we lay out you know 1776 is sort of the middle history yeah uh you
00:52:38.240 know for 200 years prior to that we had explicitly christian colonies that were under christian laws
00:52:44.920 that were run by christians and governed by christians for christians explicitly and we're
00:52:50.100 talking about like 200 years right so you know we dive into you know some some of the the early
00:52:56.140 founding of some of the early colonies and and you know some of their laws and and and their
00:53:01.700 governing structures and and all that sort of stuff to to point back to to say like this is
00:53:05.920 who we are this is our true roots reminding people of that uh because you know the the regime they
00:53:12.520 They hate to talk about the colonies because they sort of don't have any rebuttal, right?
00:53:16.500 They can get away with these quips of, you know, well, actually the founding fathers were deists and, you know, they talk about, you know, they have some sort of like sophistry going on with that stuff.
00:53:27.060 But they really cannot – they have zero argument against, you know, the first real 200 years of this country, you know, which was explicitly Christian colonies run by Christians for Christians, governed by Christians, you know, for the glory of God.
00:53:40.180 You know, the people that came here did not come here for gold, right?
00:53:45.280 They came here to spread the word of God and to establish, you know, explicitly Christian colonies where they could worship God freely.
00:53:53.680 So, you know, reminding people of that is another part of the book.
00:53:57.200 But, yeah, it's just about, you know, how are we to live?
00:53:59.680 Like we have to live as Christians in this world, and we need to start building.
00:54:04.820 That's another theme of the book is like we need to start building things.
00:54:08.180 You know, we can't see it idly by and continue to be stepped on by the enemy and continue to be pushed out where we've already been pushed out of all these institutions.
00:54:17.220 So, you know, we're just going to build our own institutions because we've done it before and we're more than capable of doing it again.
00:54:23.100 God has blessed us with, you know, many talents and and and and resources. 0.93
00:54:27.760 And if we just, you know, sort of unite and come together and say we have this shared enemy of these antichrists who are dominating all of our institutions. 0.65
00:54:35.920 so we're going to build our own and we can just go and do that and it's it's another thing it's
00:54:40.340 like it's not a short-term thing it's like this is a multi-generational effort um so you know the
00:54:44.980 most one of the most important things is like we have to raise up our kids to fear and love the
00:54:48.520 lord and to to have these biblical worldviews that we have that's that's one of the most important
00:54:52.800 things that we can be doing and i think uh god is on the move on that front too because like i said
00:54:56.880 homeschooling is exploding um and and people are are being exposed to especially throughout the
00:55:02.140 COVID thing where people were, you know, seeing what their kids were actually being taught in
00:55:05.980 school. And a lot of this stuff is sort of being leaked by like libs of TikTok and others who are
00:55:10.320 showing like what these teachers are teaching your kids and how these teachers are showing up to
00:55:14.400 school. And like they have, they're taking on the American flag and putting up the pride flag and
00:55:18.000 like talking about sex to, you know, five-year-olds. You know, I don't think any parent, whether you're 0.77
00:55:22.840 Christian or not, would endorse that or would want that for their kids. So, you know, the education
00:55:28.020 is a huge part of it. And I think that we're making strides on that front too.
00:55:32.440 Yeah. In fact, this episode actually, as listeners are listening to it, will come out a week after
00:55:39.400 our episode. As we record this, it's going to come out in two days, so it's not live yet. But
00:55:42.840 we just did an episode on education and how whether you homeschool, private school, whatever
00:55:49.280 you do, Christians should all agree on this principle of Christian education and taking
00:55:54.020 that ground again and saying whether it's parallel, whatever parallel institution building we need to
00:55:58.300 do, like that's going to be a key because this isn't something that's going to be fixed in five
00:56:05.000 years. What if the Lord Jesus, what if God really meant when he said to Abraham to a thousand
00:56:10.880 generations? What if when he said he loves to show his steadfast love to a thousand generations of
00:56:16.560 those who fear him and keep his commands? What if that really is 40,000 years and we're only a
00:56:21.760 couple thousand into that. And it's like, to me, going back to the book, that was my favorite part
00:56:27.800 of the whole book was simply when you guys went through and listed, no, no, let's talk about
00:56:32.880 Massachusetts. This is what Anglicanism, or Virginia, Anglicanism for 200 years. Here's
00:56:37.800 New England. And just went through and devastated this idea that North America and the United
00:56:44.780 States of America or anything other than originally a Christian endeavor that was begun by Christians
00:56:52.780 to advance Christianity and that it was successful in that aim. It's like, it's just the craziest 0.99
00:56:59.400 kind of revisionist. And again, it comes back to that education piece. The fact that most Americans
00:57:04.600 that would be utterly shocking to them to learn tells you not only how much we failed,
00:57:10.960 this isn't a failure that's a success of the other team because they know it and the what they
00:57:17.220 absolutely will not allow is we will not teach children this we cannot have americans understanding
00:57:24.060 where they stand in history and the legacy that they stand in yeah they want to teach them about 0.57
00:57:29.980 uh you know sex at five years old and yeah you know it's yeah let's it's absurd let's get you
00:57:34.460 on hormone blockers when you're five or if we can't do that then let's get you on birth control 0.99
00:57:39.380 at 13. And if we can do that, or if we do do that, then you'll need your antidepressants at 17. And
00:57:44.740 then let's just get them all on the big pharma, big government, big everything train, big
00:57:49.480 agriculture. Let's co-opt you completely into this religion of secular humanism to be discipled by
00:57:56.620 these false gods. And as Christians, again, it all really is this simple. It comes back to there's 0.99
00:58:03.100 only two ways. Is it going to be Christ or is it going to be slavery? Is it going to be Christ or
00:58:07.660 is it going to be slavery politically educationally you know on every level i think i think that that's
00:58:12.740 been just proven out and amplified you know to the 10th degree in the last couple years
00:58:17.660 yeah i'm looking at eric i'm looking at eric because usually this is when he says
00:58:22.380 that's huge and then goes on a on a good like a classic eric khan it was one of those like 0.71
00:58:27.100 that's huge and also the jews own a lot of the uh pharma companies it's all no it it is all like 0.78
00:58:33.220 Just as an observation. 0.99
00:58:34.500 An observation.
00:58:35.660 That is huge, Eric. 0.82
00:58:37.060 The way that pessimistic eschatology, Zionism, and big government, globalism, world economic form.
00:58:48.160 I mean stuff that three or four years ago you literally – people would say you are absolutely crazy is now just like, no, this is just everybody.
00:58:56.120 Oh, that's obvious.
00:58:57.060 This is the obvious stuff.
00:58:58.260 you know so i mean but i mean the reason that that is is because places like gab exist yeah
00:59:04.860 right i mean there's so many people that are getting exposed to these things that
00:59:09.980 you know they're not talking about this stuff on you know fox news or cnn right so or in your
00:59:15.920 local newspaper or magazine or whatever this stuff is not on the radar so you know the ability for us
00:59:21.140 to communicate is so crucial and to have a free flow of information i mean i go back to you know
00:59:27.060 October 2020, when Hunter Biden's laptop leaked and Gab was the only place where you saw all of
00:59:33.600 the laptop, right? The whole laptop was there. And, you know, meanwhile, you have Twitter and
00:59:39.040 Facebook that were censoring, you know, the oldest newspapers in the country, you know,
00:59:44.380 their link about the story from being shared. So this is this is crazy. So there's that there's
00:59:49.260 the, you know, the Wuhan lab story, which, you know, if you were on Gab, you knew about that
00:59:53.060 in you know january 2020 and you know they were calling us conspiracy theorists and all this
00:59:57.840 stuff and then you go to the vaccine and you know all the adverse side effects and people on gab
01:00:02.900 were talking about that there was actually that was um in 2021 one of our biggest areas of growth
01:00:07.700 was like doctors and health care professionals that were joining gab just to be able to share
01:00:12.480 information about this stuff because they were being shut up they were being thrown in time out
01:00:16.900 from facebook or banned from twitter or whatever so we had all of those doctors that you know are 0.58
01:00:21.740 world-class doctors they're not like just some random kook who has an md it's like you know 0.57
01:00:26.200 these are like top-tier doctors experts in their fields who needed a place to to stay to share 0.90
01:00:31.860 truth and to and to speak freely and gab was that place and they weren't even necessarily christian
01:00:36.560 per se but you're just having a place where they can share that information um you know without
01:00:40.640 being shut up by by the machine um is so crucial so that's you know it's a big part of what we're
01:00:45.400 doing is just being able to to speak freely and share information freely so one of the biggest
01:00:50.760 things, Andrew, that I've noticed is kind of the key factor in a lot of this is young men, right?
01:00:55.640 A lot of the people who are discouraged by the Doomer mindset is young guys. In a lot of ways,
01:01:00.560 Boomer world seems to be kind of like, okay, we might've lost a lot of those guys. But young men 0.72
01:01:06.200 in particular are looking for fathers and they're looking for encouragement. They're looking for
01:01:10.720 just that guy to say, hey, go take that risk. I want to ask you, do you see that? And why is
01:01:15.600 masculinity is such an important part of this conversation uh yeah absolutely i mean we in the
01:01:21.440 younger generation we have this this deep-seated nihilism and this deep-seated you know doomer
01:01:27.680 mindset of uh you know who cares nothing matters um you know why am i even here um why bother why
01:01:36.000 bother doing anything why why bother starting a family i can't afford it i can't do it you know
01:01:40.440 blaming women, blaming other men, blaming the older generation. And, you know, it's a lack of
01:01:45.800 masculinity. It's not taking responsibility. And I think a big part of it is like our generation,
01:01:52.160 like the younger generation, we, you know, we don't have our great war, but we do, but we sort
01:01:57.400 of don't know it. Right. And it's a spiritual one. And that's why. So, you know, when young
01:02:01.980 men are not exposed to understanding that it is a spiritual world, you know, between the powers
01:02:08.060 and principalities and god almighty uh you know they don't understand what's going on around them
01:02:13.100 and why they feel the way they feel or why the world is you know sort of falling apart seamlessly
01:02:19.000 um so i think that masculinity is such a crucial component of just men that are going to show them
01:02:25.700 it's okay to be uh masculine it's okay to be how god created you um and especially in the church
01:02:31.900 like we're not getting this either so i mean that's that's a failure on part of the church
01:02:34.940 is like, you know, some of these young guys walk into a church and they see this like
01:02:37.940 effeminate pastor who's like, you know, is not, you know, projecting, you know, biblical
01:02:45.020 masculinity.
01:02:46.020 Let's say, let's put it nicely that way.
01:02:47.760 Guys, just worship God, guys.
01:02:51.360 Just, it's just, Jesus just loves you.
01:02:54.160 He's always using that voice for some reason.
01:02:56.900 And also they go into the church and like they hear the same message that they're hearing
01:03:00.880 from the world, right?
01:03:01.840 Right. It's it's like you walk into a church and there's a pride flag out front and it's like, well, this is no different.
01:03:07.320 Why? Like, why am I going to come here? Like, I'm looking for something different, explicitly different.
01:03:11.460 And I'm looking for something explicitly masculine. I'm looking for my great war.
01:03:14.880 And young men don't have that, but they do. But they just sort of need to become aware of it. Right.
01:03:19.780 And so that's a big part of what I'm trying to do, too, is is engage with these younger guys and point them to Christ.
01:03:26.420 You know, a lot of them look up to me, you know, because of the sort of worldly success of, you know, I built my own social network and I, you know, wrote a bestselling book, whatever.
01:03:36.320 Like none of that stuff means anything to me, but to them it holds weight.
01:03:39.560 So, you know, when I get that attention from them, I say, it's not me, it's Christ.
01:03:42.820 Like I'm always trying to point back to Christ and give him the glory and the honor and say I wouldn't be here.
01:03:49.500 You don't understand.
01:03:50.080 Like my business in 2018 was reduced to ash.
01:03:53.000 Gab was nothing.
01:03:53.820 It was a pile of ones and zeros on my desktop. Right. But I saw God take that and build it into what it is today.
01:04:01.580 And all glory goes to him for that. So when I share that testimony, when I share my testimony of how going through that and going through those immense trials and battles and, you know, having my face plastered all over international papers, you know, 90 days after I was married,
01:04:17.080 They had my wedding photo next to this mass shooter on, you know, the British tabloids.
01:04:21.240 And, you know, talk about a first trial for your marriage.
01:04:25.120 Unbelievable.
01:04:26.440 You know, just being able to say that, yeah, like you can go through this and they're going to call you names.
01:04:32.820 And, yeah, you might get fired from your job and, you know, you might lose some family members.
01:04:37.940 But it's all worth it, you know, because we're glorifying God and we're building a new Christendom.
01:04:43.420 And and we're going to express ourselves and we're going to be who God made us to be as men.
01:04:50.900 And they they're desperately looking for, you know, authenticity and authentic masculinity.
01:04:55.620 And I I hope that I can, you know, sort of point them back to Christ for that, because Christ, of course, is the the ultimate figurehead of of true biblical masculinity and manhood.
01:05:06.940 Yeah, it's it's it's a tough thing. It's a tough situation.
01:05:08.920 There's so many young men that are so lost in the nihilism of the world, but they're actively looking for an alternative.
01:05:19.300 And if we can point them to Christ as the alternative, the Lord can do some incredible things.
01:05:23.980 But it can't be this fake, you know, effeminate Christianity that is out there.
01:05:29.460 It sort of has to be, you know, no, we're men.
01:05:32.440 We're masculine.
01:05:33.340 We're not afraid of that.
01:05:34.300 We're going to own that.
01:05:35.120 You know, that's how God made us.
01:05:36.640 It's not a bad thing.
01:05:37.640 And young men need to be told that, and they need to be told that it's okay to be who they
01:05:41.540 are as God created them.
01:05:43.420 Amen.
01:05:44.380 Amen.
01:05:44.980 Well, though I feel like we could talk for four or five hours and do a full Joe Rogan
01:05:50.600 style episode, and maybe, hey, in the future, maybe we'll get our video capability up here
01:05:55.500 at the King's Hall and we'll go for it.
01:05:56.780 And we'll say, we'll go to an undisclosed location and meet in person and do the craziest
01:06:02.620 King's Hall episode ever.
01:06:03.920 But we're out of time for this episode, so we just want to thank you so much again, Mr. Torba, for taking the time.
01:06:10.920 I know you have—with all the things you're building, you must be working all the time.
01:06:16.180 So we really appreciate your time and enriching the show, enriching our listeners with your insight and your story.
01:06:24.520 And really, last question here is just how can we be praying for you?
01:06:29.100 how can our listeners be supporting what you're doing and where can they just get plugged into
01:06:34.880 everything gab and and what you're up to uh yeah pray for rest that's a big one uh because i i i
01:06:43.220 have been working um you know 13 14 15 hour days for many months now um but it's worth it you know
01:06:50.940 i know what's at stake and um you know i'm working for the glory of god so i i it's not something
01:06:56.300 that i i dread or or anything like that but yeah pray pray for rest and pray for wisdom and continue
01:07:01.700 courage um and pray for me to you know stay grounded in in my faith yeah um and stay focused
01:07:07.480 on on christ um more importantly because it's it's very easy for someone in my position with
01:07:11.720 you know all this attention and whatever i sort of gotten over that many years ago but it's very
01:07:15.820 easy to fall into you know a pride trap or you know and you know the temptation traps and all
01:07:23.580 those things and of course uh i i notice specific attacks uh you know demonic attacks when when like
01:07:31.040 we're in the press or like the book was doing really well like last week and everybody was
01:07:34.820 sort of talking about and freaking out about it and like i noticed like increase in temptation
01:07:38.640 and just weird you know sort of demonic things that were popping up and like that's not a
01:07:42.640 coincidence so just pray for you know a host of angels to surround my family like i said we get a
01:07:47.460 lot of threats and stuff yeah i pray for some rest for me as well and you can reach me on gab i'm at
01:07:52.700 a on gab um and uh yeah if you if you want to support us you can upgrade to gab pro or grab
01:07:58.880 the book um but other than that uh we would just appreciate you being on gab and being a part of
01:08:03.560 the community yeah well thanks again and everybody listening to this show we really hope that the
01:08:08.380 result of hearing from mr torba hearing what's happening at gab uh is that you would just be
01:08:14.140 absolutely empowered and have the drive just injected into your veins to go and build to go
01:08:20.680 and whatever it is that the Lord puts in front of you, whether you're a plumber that is going to go
01:08:25.820 and build a plumbing business to the glory of God, or you're going to homeschool your children,
01:08:29.980 ladies, to the glory of God, or you're building, you know, your own company, whatever it is that
01:08:34.940 you're doing, go and do it to the glory of God. But remember, one of the, one of our mottos here
01:08:39.720 at the King's Hall is Winkit Kwisa Winkit means he conquers who conquers himself. So before you do
01:08:44.780 any of it, make sure that you walk in the fear of the Lord, that you're a self-ruled man or woman
01:08:49.360 who does not give way to the enemy,
01:08:52.360 doesn't give in to the fear of man,
01:08:54.140 doesn't build babbles for your own kingdom,
01:08:56.840 but puts bricks, everything you do is putting bricks
01:08:59.340 in the cathedral of the new Christendom, his kingdom.
01:09:02.700 And so thanks again for listening, guys.
01:09:04.060 We'll see you next time on the King's Hall.
01:09:15.640 Well, in case you didn't know,
