00:00:00.000 Today on The Matt Walsh Show, Hollywood released a historic, groundbreaking gay romantic comedy that nobody went to see.
00:00:07.140 Does this mean that we're all going to be accused of homophobia for not supporting the film?
00:00:11.400 Well, yes, of course it does.
00:00:12.440 Also, an investigative report from The Daily Wire reveals that the pro-trans student walkouts in Virginia last week were not exactly what they appeared to be.
00:00:20.200 Plus, Kamala Harris wants to provide hurricane relief to all the people in Florida who need it, except the white ones.
00:00:26.000 In our daily cancellation, at long last, David French finally pens the conservative case for transitioning minors.
00:00:32.540 All of that and more today on The Matt Walsh Show.
00:00:44.140 Inside Every Progressive is a totalitarian screaming to get out, and the team at Front Page Magazine has been unmasking these totalitarians since the earliest days of the Internet.
00:00:52.840 Founded by David Horowitz, a former red diaper baby and new leftist who ultimately became an enemy of the left and a best-selling author as well.
00:00:59.740 Front Page Magazine has spent over two decades combating the radical left's efforts to destroy America.
00:01:04.720 There are two new podcasts, The Right Take with Mark Tapson and The Jason Hill Show, offer riveting interviews and insightful coverage of politics, culture, and current events.
00:01:13.460 The Right Take with Mark Tapson offers fascinating in-depth cultural commentary as well as interviews with well-known conservative thinkers like Heather MacDonald, Michael Walsh, and Mary Grabber.
00:01:22.000 The Jason Hill Show offers thoughtful deep dives about the ideologies of the radical left and interviews with renowned intellectuals like Peter Wood and Bruce Gilley.
00:01:31.520 It takes a village to combat the radical left's efforts to destroy America, and that's why, as a fan of my show, you should also check out these guys over at Front Page Magazine by visiting frontpagemag.com.
00:01:42.500 And while you're there, support their cause by making a tax-deductible donation.
00:01:46.880 Inside, every progressive is a totalitarian screaming to get out, and no one understands that better than the team at Front Page Magazine.
00:01:52.820 So go check out frontpagemag.com today.
00:01:55.280 Well, you may not have noticed it.
00:01:57.780 In fact, it seems certain that you did not notice it.
00:02:00.500 But over the weekend, a truly historic moment occurred.
00:02:03.960 A movie called Bros was released by Universal Pictures.
00:02:07.640 Bros is historic because it is gay.
00:02:11.120 And I don't just mean that it has gay actors.
00:02:13.460 I mean, in that sense, it's like literally every other Hollywood film.
00:02:16.280 And I don't mean just that it has gay characters.
00:02:18.720 Again, in that sense, it's like every other Hollywood film.
00:02:21.600 Hollywood is very gay, and Hollywood movies have a lot of gay characters and themes.
00:02:25.720 But this movie is a trailblazer, we're told, because it's the first gay romantic comedy to be produced by a major Hollywood production company.
00:02:35.320 And in case you're at all confused about this fact, the film's marketing material, especially its trailer,
00:02:42.140 makes sure to beat you over the head with a tire iron of gayness just so that you don't lose sight of how historic everything here really is.
00:02:50.380 So, here it is. Watch.
00:02:52.900 Hey guys, it's Bobby Lieber coming to you from the future home of the LGBTQ Plus Museum.
00:02:58.060 Everyone is really excited and totally getting along.
00:03:01.540 This happens to be Bisexual Awareness Week, and no one has acknowledged it.
00:03:07.360 Lesbian History Month was in March.
00:03:10.460 Nobody said a goddamn thing.
00:03:12.200 Of course, lesbians get a month and we get a week.
00:03:17.940 So what's happening? Didn't you guys have an announcement?
00:03:19.940 This is a little unexpected, but we are in a throuple situation.
00:03:24.500 You're in a throuple?
00:03:26.800 Let me tell you what's progressive now. Being alone.
00:03:29.400 I love my life, I love my freedom, I love my independence.
00:03:31.940 That's kind of sad.
00:03:32.840 That I don't want to be in a throuple? I don't even want to be in a couple.
00:03:37.680 Bobby, I had sex with that 65-year-old.
00:03:40.340 Jesus, he's ripped.
00:03:41.560 I know, it's like they injected steroids into Dumbledore.
00:03:44.760 Oh my god, that's Aaron.
00:03:46.940 He's very hot.
00:03:48.120 Gay guys are so stupid.
00:03:51.780 I know.
00:03:52.320 But we've been smart enough to brand ourselves as being smart.
00:03:54.840 It's our little secret.
00:03:56.260 Never mind.
00:03:57.940 You saw enough of that.
00:03:59.180 You'll be shocked to hear this, but that was a flop.
00:04:03.860 Not just a flop, but a full-on fat guy jumping off a diving board belly flop type of flop.
00:04:10.560 They were right.
00:04:11.200 You know, it turns out the movie is historic.
00:04:12.900 It made history by how poorly it performed at the box office.
00:04:15.980 It's the gayest comedy of all time and also the brokest.
00:04:20.180 And there's a Brokeback Mountain joke in there somewhere, but I'm not going to go there.
00:04:23.020 I'll let you make the punchline.
00:04:24.720 Despite tons of media hype and a $40 million marketing campaign, the film made less than $5 million on its opening weekend.
00:04:32.440 It generated that paltry sum on 3,350 screens, which is a humiliating average of $1,500 per theater.
00:04:40.100 The theaters, you know, they could have made more money just by, like, sending a few employees to panhandle in the parking lot.
00:04:45.340 Just an abysmal failure.
00:04:46.840 But on the bright side, I will admit at least that the comedy did get a laugh out of me by bombing in such a hilarious way.
00:04:55.580 We must also note that this film failed so badly in spite of the evangelical efforts of the media, you know, who sometimes commanded and sometimes begged us to go see this film.
00:05:09.060 Kevin Fallon of The Daily Beast, for example, wrote an exhortation a few days ago, headlined,
00:05:13.700 Straight people, I beg of you, go see bros in theaters.
00:05:19.160 Calling us to allyship, Fallon declared that the film is both historic and, quote, miraculous,
00:05:25.640 and informed us that it is our duty, it is our responsibility as straight people to support it.
00:05:31.080 He warned that if the movie doesn't earn a respectable return, we may never get to see Billy Eichner make out with a dude on camera again.
00:05:39.700 A terrifying prospect, he says.
00:05:41.480 But Fallon also assures us, wary heterosexuals, that it's a very good film on its own merits, he says.
00:05:48.020 The good news, he says, is that the movie is crude, raunchy, and sexy.
00:05:52.980 Because those are obviously the adjectives that are going to motivate straight people to see a gay film.
00:05:59.280 And best of all, Fallon says, bros, quote,
00:06:01.520 Jokes about life as a gay male over the age of 30, over the age of 40 even, in New York City in a way that feels authentic.
00:06:09.900 Now, part of that authenticity, apparently, is a four-way gay sex scene, which the writer promises rings true.
00:06:17.280 I can just hear some average straight guy in Ohio, one of millions across the country, saying to his wife,
00:06:25.260 hey, honey, let's go check out this gay romantic comedy called Bros Tonight.
00:06:29.500 Yeah, apparently it jokes about life as a gay male over 30 in New York City in a way that feels authentic.
00:06:34.880 Yeah, Kevin Fallon, the Daily Beast, he says so.
00:06:37.360 He says that we should see it so we could be good allies.
00:06:40.140 Also, it's super raunchy and sexy with all the gay orgies and everything.
00:06:43.480 Doesn't it sound great? We can go to Olive Garden afterwards.
00:06:47.160 You can imagine these types of conversations, but you can only imagine them because they don't happen in real life.
00:06:53.720 Kevin Fallon of the Daily Beast may or may not understand that,
00:06:57.020 but the real point, I think, of trying to emotionally blackmail straight people into seeing a gay film is so that,
00:07:04.060 when we don't respond, the film's failure can be blamed on, you guessed it, homophobia.
00:07:09.660 So the rest of this, I don't even need to tell you because you knew this was going to happen.
00:07:14.120 Right on cue, the star of the film, Billy Eichner, was ready with this excuse.
00:07:19.640 He was just right away Sunday night, he was tweeting, tweeting up a storm.
00:07:24.800 This is all the fault of homophobia.
00:07:26.480 So he tweeted, quote,
00:07:29.140 Last night, I snuck in and sat in the back of a sold-out theater playing bros in Los Angeles.
00:07:35.840 The audience howled with laughter from start to finish, burst into applause at the end,
00:07:40.880 and some were wiping away tears as they walked out.
00:07:43.780 It was truly magical.
00:07:44.740 Yeah, sure they did.
00:07:45.360 This has very sort of my girlfriend goes to a different high school vibe to it.
00:07:49.840 You know, this, oh yeah, the audiences, they loved it.
00:07:52.560 I mean, they were, they just, I promise you, I saw one.
00:07:56.140 I saw an audience that loved it.
00:07:57.300 I really did.
00:07:59.040 Anyway, he continues,
00:08:00.560 Really, I am very proud of this movie.
00:08:03.280 Rolling Stone already has bros on the list of the best comedies of the 21st century.
00:08:08.040 That part, I believe.
00:08:08.860 I bet they did do that.
00:08:10.160 What's also true is that at one point, a theater chain called Universal,
00:08:14.140 called Universal and said that they were pulling the trailer because of the gay content.
00:08:18.120 America, F yeah, et cetera, et cetera.
00:08:21.780 That's just the world we live in, unfortunately.
00:08:23.960 Even with glowing reviews, great Rotten Tomatoes scores, an A Cinema score, et cetera,
00:08:29.900 straight people, especially in certain parts of the country, just didn't show up for bros.
00:08:35.020 And that's disappointing because, but it is what it is.
00:08:38.520 Everyone who isn't a homophobic weirdo should go see bros tonight.
00:08:42.860 You'll have a blast.
00:08:43.760 And it is special and uniquely powerful to see this particular story on a big screen,
00:08:48.980 especially for queer folks who don't get this opportunity often.
00:08:52.000 I love this movie so much.
00:08:54.040 Go bros.
00:08:56.460 All right, so you're a homophobic weirdo
00:08:59.320 if you don't spend too much money and several hours of your time
00:09:04.060 going out to watch a romantic comedy about men who meet at a gay bar
00:09:08.240 and then proceed to have group sex with other gay men.
00:09:10.500 You are a homophobic, not just homophobic, you're a weirdo.
00:09:14.840 It is weird that you didn't spend, you didn't go, you didn't hire a babysitter
00:09:18.680 and take your wife out to watch that movie.
00:09:20.640 It's actually, it's a weird thing.
00:09:22.380 How weird is that?
00:09:25.400 A pretty stark pivot in terms of messaging, we must say.
00:09:28.240 Because the trailer, if you watch it all the way to the end,
00:09:32.220 which we bailed so you didn't see at the end, but this is in the trailer.
00:09:35.080 The trailer goes out of its way to insult straight people.
00:09:39.620 It says, you know, straight people are over, they're irrelevant, they're stupid,
00:09:43.560 they're terrorists.
00:09:44.220 That's in the trailer.
00:09:45.360 They're irrelevant and terrorists.
00:09:46.920 That actually says it in the trailer.
00:09:48.300 And then the movie bombs and suddenly it's,
00:09:50.820 hey, why didn't straight people come see this?
00:09:53.180 Hey, you irrelevant idiot terrorists, come watch our movie, dumbasses.
00:09:57.300 You owe it to us.
00:09:59.740 A slightly schizophrenic marketing campaign.
00:10:02.540 But there is an important lesson, I think, that we can learn from this whole fiasco.
00:10:08.660 And there's a reason I'm talking about it.
00:10:10.100 And it's not just to make fun of this movie for doing so poorly.
00:10:12.620 That's like, that's 80% of the reason.
00:10:14.700 20% is because there's a lesson.
00:10:17.120 So some have speculated that Hollywood knows that films like this will bomb.
00:10:22.700 And yet they put the film out anyway.
00:10:25.040 And I've seen that a lot on Twitter.
00:10:26.660 Oh, Hollywood knew that this would happen.
00:10:28.180 Because they don't care.
00:10:28.960 It's just about the message.
00:10:30.960 But that's not true, okay?
00:10:32.760 Because Hollywood is still a business.
00:10:35.120 And you don't make a film and release it on over 3,000 screens
00:10:38.920 and spend $40 million marketing it if you don't think it will perform.
00:10:42.800 Now, maybe you put it out, put it in a couple independent theaters,
00:10:45.420 spend no money marketing it.
00:10:46.720 And then you could just say, look, we made it.
00:10:48.380 See, we're woke or whatever.
00:10:50.200 Maybe you do that.
00:10:51.380 But you don't put the money and support behind it
00:10:54.120 if you don't think it's going to do well.
00:10:55.660 And so they did think it would do well.
00:10:57.040 They really expected it to be a hit.
00:11:00.260 Which only goes to show how terminally out of touch Hollywood has become.
00:11:05.680 I mean, because there is, in fact, this is the great thing about this.
00:11:08.720 There is no genre of film less likely to succeed than a gay romantic comedy.
00:11:17.280 You have just combined things in such a way as it is a perfect storm
00:11:22.860 in terms of making a movie that will bomb.
00:11:25.400 It's the sort of film seemingly designed to appeal
00:11:28.480 to the smallest possible subset of potential moviegoers.
00:11:32.280 So heterosexual women are the normal audience for a romantic comedy.
00:11:40.960 But they want to see a romance they can relate to or aspire to, right?
00:11:47.560 They want to be able to relate to it
00:11:48.700 or they want to be able to dream of themselves in a similar situation.
00:11:53.280 They could do neither of those things with a story
00:11:56.020 about two men hooking up at a gay club, okay?
00:11:58.720 When you get a bunch of guys meeting each other on Grindr,
00:12:00.840 that is not the sort of romance that women have in mind.
00:12:06.820 Meanwhile, straight men are loathe to see romantic comedies of any type.
00:12:13.120 My wife has convinced me to watch maybe five total in 10 years of marriage.
00:12:17.900 And it took a sustained emotional and psychological pressure campaign
00:12:22.760 to extract even those concessions out of me.
00:12:25.720 So she gets like one every two years, okay?
00:12:29.080 So if we're already reluctant to watch heterosexual romantic comedies,
00:12:35.000 why would you think you could get us to watch a gay one?
00:12:38.400 It's a pretty bold strategy.
00:12:40.840 So you're already having trouble selling something to someone.
00:12:44.280 So then you go and make the product less appealing
00:12:47.740 and expect better results.
00:12:49.880 Oh, you didn't want to buy this car, sir?
00:12:52.580 Well, here, let me have it painted hot pink,
00:12:54.360 and then we'll see how you feel about it.
00:12:57.800 This is the kind of tactic that made sense in the minds of Hollywood producers
00:13:01.780 because they exist in a solar system 50 million light years
00:13:06.100 from the planet the rest of us are living on,
00:13:08.620 which is why their output is so atrocious.
00:13:11.780 But the good news, the real good news,
00:13:15.520 is that as they relegate themselves to irrelevance,
00:13:18.400 opportunities arise for other people to tell stories
00:13:21.580 and make films and create content
00:13:23.380 that actually connects with the average person.
00:13:26.940 Now, I didn't mean for this all to lead to a sales pitch for The Daily Wire,
00:13:29.900 but that is something we're trying to do over here,
00:13:32.100 such as my film, What Is a Woman?,
00:13:33.440 which is better and funnier and more relevant
00:13:35.960 and more important and far more successful
00:13:38.200 than Hollywood's historic gay romantic comedy.
00:13:42.800 And the other piece of the good news
00:13:44.040 is that I'm taking the film on the road,
00:13:46.740 touring college campuses across the country.
00:13:48.820 My first stop is tomorrow
00:13:50.180 when I'll screen the film at Catholic University in D.C.
00:13:53.880 So I hope to see you there.
00:13:56.240 I guess this was all leading to a sales pitch,
00:13:57.900 but what can you do?
00:13:59.540 Let's get to the five headlines.
00:14:08.200 Another act of a shameless promotion here,
00:14:12.520 not self-promotion.
00:14:13.280 This is something that needs to be promoted.
00:14:15.740 I need to start by telling you this,
00:14:17.620 and I am calling on the Sweet Baby Gang to mobilize.
00:14:21.760 I need you out here.
00:14:22.900 I need your support.
00:14:24.320 Because on October 21st,
00:14:26.140 which is a Friday at 4 p.m.,
00:14:28.580 we're going to have a rally at the Capitol Building in Nashville.
00:14:32.220 And it is a rally,
00:14:33.080 we're calling it the Rally to End Child Mutilation.
00:14:35.760 Why are we calling it that?
00:14:36.560 Because we're trying to end child mutilation
00:14:39.360 in the state of Tennessee and then beyond, right?
00:14:43.840 So we're mobilizing and put a stop
00:14:45.540 to what Vanderbilt is doing,
00:14:47.440 and not just Vanderbilt, by the way.
00:14:48.820 Vanderbilt's not the only.
00:14:49.760 Now, they are the gender clinic in Tennessee,
00:14:52.700 but there are other clinics and medical establishments,
00:14:59.400 alleged medical establishments,
00:15:00.740 that perform these so-called gender affirmation procedures
00:15:03.840 on children, including plastic surgeons.
00:15:05.700 Even plastic surgeons in our city perform top surgeries on minors.
00:15:09.920 So we're putting a stop to it across the state.
00:15:14.200 And that's what this rally is about.
00:15:18.240 It's about calling for that and making sure that
00:15:21.760 not just lawmakers in our state,
00:15:24.140 but people across the country,
00:15:25.340 the powers that be,
00:15:27.360 realize that this is something that we're serious about.
00:15:31.620 And we're obviously hoping for a big crowd.
00:15:33.740 I'm expecting a big crowd.
00:15:34.960 I think we're going to have a great turnout.
00:15:36.580 Though I also have to say that as far as I know,
00:15:39.080 no one's ever done anything quite like this
00:15:42.460 on this topic before.
00:15:43.640 Now, there have been and there are smaller events
00:15:47.620 and people mobilizing across the country,
00:15:49.220 which is great.
00:15:50.300 But I'm not aware of a big rally
00:15:53.180 with thousands of people on this specific topic.
00:15:56.200 So this perhaps will be the first.
00:16:01.540 And that's what we're hoping to do.
00:16:04.440 I am expecting, of course,
00:16:07.900 I would be shocked if the opposition doesn't show up.
00:16:10.300 So they're going to be there too.
00:16:12.020 And they're going to be screaming
00:16:13.400 and probably making a fuss
00:16:14.700 because they want more children to be mutilated.
00:16:18.300 And so I want to make sure
00:16:19.320 that we have enough to drown them out.
00:16:20.760 And I am asking if we got, you know,
00:16:22.480 a few weeks to prepare for it.
00:16:24.900 If you're able to drive out,
00:16:26.260 if you're able to fly out, you know,
00:16:27.800 it'll be worth it.
00:16:28.980 Because like I said,
00:16:29.760 even if you don't live in Tennessee,
00:16:31.400 this is the beginning of a national movement.
00:16:37.540 All right.
00:16:38.780 Speaking of rallies.
00:16:40.080 So you heard about ours,
00:16:41.400 which is a real rally
00:16:43.240 and a real demonstration.
00:16:46.160 Now let's hear about a fake one.
00:16:48.400 It's from the Daily Wire.
00:16:49.460 It says national media covered walkouts
00:16:53.200 by students supposedly objecting
00:16:54.860 to transgender policies
00:16:56.060 from Virginia Governor,
00:16:58.000 Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin's administration.
00:17:00.420 But an internal video of the, quote,
00:17:02.280 student group shows that it's led
00:17:04.700 by an adult former Democrat staffer
00:17:07.020 and that the group knew
00:17:08.060 that a large portion of students
00:17:09.300 had no interest in the cause
00:17:10.840 and simply wanted to skip school.
00:17:12.880 Now, we talked about this last week
00:17:14.480 and I did say this.
00:17:15.600 And you don't have to be in Ostradamus.
00:17:17.500 I don't have to be a prophet.
00:17:19.460 It's a predictive.
00:17:20.200 But I did say that, number one,
00:17:21.860 this is, although it's being,
00:17:23.120 it's being sold as a student-led effort,
00:17:25.820 I guarantee you that it is not.
00:17:27.960 There are adults behind this,
00:17:30.060 people in politics
00:17:31.960 who know how to organize
00:17:33.440 these kinds of fake grassroots efforts
00:17:35.120 and they're the ones doing this.
00:17:36.280 And I also said that
00:17:37.180 a vast majority of the kids
00:17:39.820 walking out are only doing it
00:17:41.460 because they want to leave school.
00:17:42.940 And you can hardly blame them
00:17:45.100 given how miserable school is
00:17:46.560 and they want to get out
00:17:47.260 and so they're told that,
00:17:48.600 oh, you just go stand outside,
00:17:51.440 pretend that you care about this issue
00:17:53.020 and you're allowed to stand outside
00:17:55.220 for 45 minutes.
00:17:58.400 Most kids are going to take you up on that.
00:18:01.660 Then when you start to understand it like that,
00:18:04.100 you begin to see that the walkouts
00:18:06.000 were actually a failure
00:18:08.360 because it's kind of amazing
00:18:11.040 they couldn't get all,
00:18:12.260 why didn't every student,
00:18:13.460 given that they could leave class
00:18:15.100 and stand outside
00:18:15.820 and get some fresh air,
00:18:16.540 have a kind of impromptu recess,
00:18:19.020 why weren't they all out there?
00:18:21.320 At some of these schools,
00:18:22.000 there's only a few dozen kids.
00:18:24.960 So even with the incentive
00:18:26.640 as a kid that, number one,
00:18:28.940 you can virtue signal to your peers
00:18:30.440 that you're awoke
00:18:31.160 and progressive and all that,
00:18:32.700 but more importantly,
00:18:33.660 with the other even greater incentive
00:18:35.120 that you can skip class,
00:18:36.400 that still wasn't enough
00:18:38.500 to get all the kids out.
00:18:42.160 And maybe because the cause
00:18:43.660 that they're rallying for
00:18:44.760 is so horrific
00:18:46.300 and incoherent
00:18:48.240 and insane,
00:18:49.720 which is specifically
00:18:52.180 they were rallying,
00:18:54.400 when I say they,
00:18:55.340 I really mean the adults
00:18:56.780 who put all this together,
00:18:58.180 but they were rallying
00:19:00.000 to oppose rules
00:19:03.060 that would protect
00:19:04.940 especially young girls in school
00:19:07.280 and give them privacy and safety.
00:19:09.040 So they were rallying
00:19:10.280 to oppose the privacy
00:19:11.680 and safety of girls.
00:19:14.020 Basically what it came down to.
00:19:17.780 Continue, it says,
00:19:19.100 in video of an internal Zoom call
00:19:21.440 obtained by the Daily Wire,
00:19:23.220 the Pride Liberation Project
00:19:24.980 bragged about having tricked the media.
00:19:27.540 The group's leader claimed,
00:19:28.880 we had at least 12,000 students walk out.
00:19:30.800 We were the reason Joe Biden
00:19:31.900 was asked a question on this issue.
00:19:33.080 It boasted of coverage
00:19:34.720 from USA Today,
00:19:35.520 the Richmond Times-Dispatch,
00:19:36.660 the Virginia Pilot,
00:19:37.340 the Washington Post,
00:19:37.960 AP News,
00:19:38.560 and even some international outlets.
00:19:40.320 But in a debrief
00:19:41.220 after the walkouts,
00:19:43.080 one student asked,
00:19:44.440 quote,
00:19:45.020 I want to know if anyone else
00:19:45.880 had this problem.
00:19:46.800 Yesterday at the school walkout,
00:19:47.960 we had about 200 kids participating.
00:19:50.400 Most of the students
00:19:50.960 were just there to skip class.
00:19:52.180 Most of the flyers I handed out
00:19:53.260 got handed right back to me
00:19:54.800 because most of the people
00:19:55.840 weren't there for the cause.
00:19:57.380 The walkout,
00:19:57.960 they just wanted to skip class.
00:19:59.820 Another activist replied,
00:20:00.820 I definitely had a lot of those people
00:20:02.560 at my school.
00:20:03.600 They're bolstering our numbers.
00:20:05.000 We can count them.
00:20:05.760 We can count them as people
00:20:07.100 who walked out
00:20:07.740 for the Pride Liberation Project.
00:20:09.260 They're still helping
00:20:10.180 and they don't even realize it.
00:20:12.180 A top organizer,
00:20:13.460 Rivka Vizcardo-Lichter,
00:20:15.800 replied,
00:20:17.240 when helicopters are recording your school,
00:20:19.740 they're not seeing which ones care
00:20:21.120 and which ones don't.
00:20:22.040 They're just seeing the numbers.
00:20:23.720 So y'all slayed.
00:20:26.120 Following the group's extensive coordination
00:20:27.840 with media before the event,
00:20:29.480 a local TV station dispatched a helicopter
00:20:31.500 to capture a small group
00:20:33.220 of students congregating.
00:20:35.280 Oh yeah,
00:20:35.480 because that's the other thing, right?
00:20:36.540 When it's really a student-led demonstration,
00:20:40.880 that's something that students
00:20:42.180 know how to do.
00:20:42.760 Like your average high school sophomore
00:20:44.360 knows how to get in touch
00:20:46.500 with news stations
00:20:47.380 and coordinate helicopter flyovers.
00:20:50.120 Yeah,
00:20:50.300 that's something that,
00:20:51.440 yeah,
00:20:51.880 a kid can do that,
00:20:53.260 right?
00:20:54.440 It's not like that indicates
00:20:55.820 it's clear as day
00:20:56.940 that it was really adults
00:20:57.940 pulling the strings here.
00:21:00.620 Aron,
00:21:01.220 Arion?
00:21:04.280 Arion?
00:21:05.040 I don't know.
00:21:05.980 Rowell,
00:21:06.540 a college student
00:21:07.280 and former legislative staffer
00:21:08.520 for a Virginia Democrat
00:21:09.460 who led the group on call,
00:21:11.400 told participants,
00:21:12.260 the goal of mass mobilization
00:21:13.780 is not necessarily
00:21:15.240 to make people care about an issue.
00:21:17.040 The primary goal
00:21:17.680 is to give us credibility
00:21:18.740 in the eyes of lawmakers.
00:21:21.400 For the 30 people
00:21:22.460 who actually know
00:21:23.160 what the policy is
00:21:24.020 and who actually know
00:21:24.940 how they're going to advocate,
00:21:26.580 those people suddenly
00:21:27.480 have a lot of credibility
00:21:28.600 when they talk
00:21:29.580 to our Virginia lawmakers.
00:21:33.600 Now,
00:21:34.960 let's see,
00:21:36.940 a couple of things
00:21:37.380 I want to mention
00:21:37.780 before we talk about it.
00:21:40.780 It says,
00:21:41.340 some of the core group
00:21:42.240 of activists on the call
00:21:43.320 seemed to have little grasp
00:21:44.460 on the policy
00:21:45.140 that they were disputing.
00:21:46.140 One asked,
00:21:47.220 if this bill does end up
00:21:48.740 getting passed,
00:21:49.620 would that stop us
00:21:50.400 from being able
00:21:50.880 to have a gay student association?
00:21:53.480 Which, of course,
00:21:54.100 it wouldn't at all.
00:21:56.780 In an internal message board,
00:21:58.300 Rawal shared
00:21:59.100 a Talking Point document
00:22:00.480 that told people
00:22:01.240 what to say,
00:22:02.980 including repeatedly
00:22:04.080 invoking suicide.
00:22:06.120 If someone asks
00:22:06.900 if walkouts jeopardize learning,
00:22:09.000 he told them to say,
00:22:09.820 quote,
00:22:10.440 how can my friends
00:22:11.160 possibly learn
00:22:12.000 about photosynthesis
00:22:13.080 in biology class
00:22:14.160 when they're worried
00:22:15.060 about whether they'll be able
00:22:15.940 to come home
00:22:16.520 to a safe place that night?
00:22:18.380 The Talking Points memo
00:22:19.200 said to tell reporters
00:22:20.100 that, quote,
00:22:20.540 I've had to talk friends
00:22:21.960 out of suicide
00:22:22.560 at 2 a.m. in the morning
00:22:23.620 and I've not met
00:22:24.620 a single queer student
00:22:25.560 who isn't depressed.
00:22:27.780 So it's a,
00:22:28.820 this is a Talking Points memo
00:22:30.380 that doesn't just give them
00:22:31.580 arguments or, you know,
00:22:33.140 arguments to use,
00:22:34.200 points to make,
00:22:34.980 little factoids
00:22:35.680 and all that.
00:22:36.500 It actually tells them,
00:22:37.620 it gives them
00:22:38.240 false personal information
00:22:40.520 they're supposed to share.
00:22:41.260 They're supposed to tell
00:22:41.960 false personal stories
00:22:44.200 about friends
00:22:44.960 they talked out of suicide
00:22:45.940 at 2 a.m.
00:22:46.840 And then,
00:22:50.100 and then,
00:22:50.560 another part of this
00:22:51.580 is that the people
00:22:52.060 organizing this
00:22:52.860 and coming up
00:22:53.340 with these media
00:22:53.880 Talking Points,
00:22:54.760 they're counting on the media
00:22:56.380 not noticing
00:22:57.700 that all the kids
00:22:59.720 are saying the same thing
00:23:00.680 and suspiciously,
00:23:01.760 like,
00:23:02.380 60 kids all have a story
00:23:04.000 about talking to a friend
00:23:04.860 out of suicide at 2 a.m.
00:23:06.580 They're counting on the media
00:23:07.480 not noticing it
00:23:08.180 or if they do notice it,
00:23:09.560 notice it to not say
00:23:10.520 anything about it
00:23:11.160 and as far as that goes,
00:23:12.780 it's a,
00:23:13.640 it's a pretty safe bet.
00:23:16.840 but all of this
00:23:19.080 is just
00:23:19.820 perfect
00:23:22.180 in how it,
00:23:24.220 it,
00:23:24.360 it,
00:23:24.660 it is emblematic
00:23:26.140 of the left's approach
00:23:29.080 especially on this issue
00:23:29.960 in general
00:23:30.380 because this is exactly
00:23:32.000 why they use kids
00:23:33.280 to advance
00:23:33.880 their message.
00:23:36.580 Okay,
00:23:37.300 the kid,
00:23:37.700 the kids don't understand
00:23:39.200 they don't understand
00:23:40.940 the issue
00:23:41.380 most of them
00:23:42.900 don't understand at all
00:23:43.920 they're not clued in
00:23:45.160 they're thinking
00:23:45.540 about other things
00:23:46.340 as well they should be
00:23:47.680 right,
00:23:48.580 kids shouldn't be thinking
00:23:49.260 about this issue at all
00:23:50.020 they're thinking
00:23:50.280 about other things
00:23:50.900 so the kids
00:23:52.760 don't understand it
00:23:53.620 and even most of the kids
00:23:55.720 who are a little bit
00:23:56.940 clued in
00:23:57.500 who are more knowledgeable
00:23:59.820 than average
00:24:00.560 about these issues
00:24:01.320 for a kid
00:24:02.080 even most of them
00:24:02.980 are actually
00:24:03.900 when it comes down
00:24:04.460 to it clueless
00:24:05.160 that's why
00:24:07.720 you had one of the activists
00:24:08.600 who thought that he was
00:24:09.520 marching to make sure
00:24:10.540 that they don't ban
00:24:11.580 the gay student alliance
00:24:13.720 which is not
00:24:17.100 in the cards
00:24:17.660 to do
00:24:18.100 now I'd be
00:24:20.960 I'd be in favor
00:24:21.640 of banning that
00:24:22.280 because I don't think
00:24:22.760 that there should be any
00:24:23.580 there's no reason
00:24:24.360 to have any
00:24:24.880 conversation
00:24:26.300 or any organization
00:24:27.700 around sexuality
00:24:29.140 or sexual orientation
00:24:30.200 in the classroom
00:24:31.240 or in school
00:24:31.800 at all
00:24:32.280 but that's not
00:24:33.740 what anyone
00:24:34.160 is trying to do
00:24:34.980 in Virginia
00:24:35.300 so they don't understand
00:24:38.060 they're completely
00:24:39.600 ignorant
00:24:40.060 they don't really
00:24:41.040 care about it
00:24:41.920 but they are
00:24:44.280 just pawns
00:24:45.600 all the organizers
00:24:48.580 and activists
00:24:49.160 care about
00:24:49.660 and they say
00:24:50.120 they're on the call
00:24:50.780 they're very clear
00:24:51.360 about it
00:24:51.740 it's like we don't
00:24:52.160 we don't care
00:24:52.580 if these people
00:24:53.000 actually understand
00:24:53.780 what they're doing
00:24:54.300 it doesn't make a difference
00:24:55.000 we just need the body count
00:24:56.460 we need the numbers
00:24:57.380 okay
00:24:58.740 we need to use them
00:24:59.500 as pawns
00:25:00.280 so that we can get
00:25:01.360 what we want
00:25:01.840 all right
00:25:04.680 Hurricane Ian
00:25:05.380 wreaked havoc
00:25:06.440 in Florida
00:25:06.900 though the
00:25:07.660 devastating toll
00:25:09.700 could have been worse
00:25:10.600 without the excellent
00:25:11.320 leadership of
00:25:12.160 Ron DeSantis
00:25:12.920 who did everything
00:25:13.580 possible to get people
00:25:14.420 out of harm's way
00:25:15.120 and is now
00:25:16.340 organizing relief efforts
00:25:17.680 for those affected
00:25:18.480 the Biden administration
00:25:19.300 is also organizing
00:25:20.740 relief efforts
00:25:21.520 but their focus
00:25:22.980 is a bit more
00:25:24.060 well targeted
00:25:25.680 I guess
00:25:26.320 it is our
00:25:29.440 lowest income
00:25:31.320 communities
00:25:31.960 and our communities
00:25:32.760 of color
00:25:33.260 that are most
00:25:34.660 impacted
00:25:35.640 by these
00:25:37.160 extreme conditions
00:25:38.180 and
00:25:38.840 and impacted
00:25:39.880 by
00:25:40.340 by
00:25:41.020 issues
00:25:41.820 that are not
00:25:42.400 of their own making
00:25:43.460 and so
00:25:43.980 absolutely
00:25:45.400 and so
00:25:46.780 we have to
00:25:47.740 address this
00:25:48.600 in a way
00:25:49.120 that is about
00:25:49.900 giving resources
00:25:51.500 based on equity
00:25:52.580 understanding
00:25:53.220 that we
00:25:53.880 we fight for equality
00:25:55.000 but we also need
00:25:55.720 to fight for equity
00:25:56.480 understanding
00:25:56.960 not everyone
00:25:57.480 starts out
00:25:58.020 at the same place
00:25:59.000 and if we want
00:26:00.340 people to be
00:26:00.920 in an equal place
00:26:01.600 sometimes we have
00:26:02.280 to take into account
00:26:03.200 those disparities
00:26:04.020 and do that work
00:26:06.680 do that work
00:26:08.800 she had to throw
00:26:09.720 that in there
00:26:10.220 at the end
00:26:10.880 only thing she was
00:26:12.880 missing
00:26:13.160 she got all the
00:26:13.800 cliches in
00:26:14.360 only thing she was
00:26:14.960 missing is lived
00:26:15.740 experience
00:26:16.260 maybe I missed it
00:26:17.280 but I zone out
00:26:18.580 whenever she's talking
00:26:19.300 like anybody else
00:26:20.060 but maybe she
00:26:20.760 should have thrown
00:26:21.360 something in there
00:26:21.940 about you know
00:26:22.860 it's also the lived
00:26:24.340 experience of the
00:26:25.140 BIPOC community
00:26:25.900 their lived
00:26:27.200 experience of
00:26:29.040 hurricanes
00:26:29.480 is worse
00:26:31.640 like is worse
00:26:32.600 than a white
00:26:33.160 person's experience
00:26:33.860 of a hurricane
00:26:34.240 I mean a white
00:26:35.020 person a black
00:26:35.560 person could be
00:26:36.100 in the same
00:26:36.460 hurricane
00:26:36.880 standing next
00:26:38.420 to each other
00:26:39.000 but for the
00:26:40.620 member of the
00:26:41.460 for a person
00:26:42.320 of color
00:26:42.680 that that lived
00:26:43.540 experience is going
00:26:44.220 to be even more
00:26:44.760 severe and so
00:26:45.200 that's why
00:26:45.680 we got to make
00:26:46.260 sure that we
00:26:46.620 give them
00:26:47.040 relief first
00:26:47.740 now thankfully
00:26:51.000 this really all
00:26:55.100 ultimately comes
00:26:55.820 down to Ron
00:26:56.360 Santos and his
00:26:57.180 administration to
00:26:57.860 make sure that
00:26:58.340 the people who
00:26:58.880 get relief
00:26:59.780 who need relief
00:27:00.720 get it
00:27:01.140 and he is not
00:27:02.600 going to he's
00:27:03.300 going to get
00:27:03.640 provide relief to
00:27:05.420 everyone who needs
00:27:06.280 it and he's not
00:27:07.580 going to do it
00:27:07.920 based on race
00:27:08.640 but this is what
00:27:10.780 the Biden
00:27:11.040 administration would
00:27:11.580 like to do
00:27:12.060 even when it
00:27:14.200 comes to hurricane
00:27:15.100 they find a way
00:27:16.020 to racialize
00:27:17.260 hurricane relief
00:27:18.960 you know natural
00:27:21.100 disaster relief
00:27:22.020 is a racialized
00:27:23.320 issue to them
00:27:24.300 and she found
00:27:27.760 they never come
00:27:31.400 out quite out
00:27:31.980 and say
00:27:32.240 but what she's
00:27:32.680 actually saying
00:27:33.400 there of course
00:27:34.000 is that
00:27:34.740 we're not
00:27:36.180 interested in
00:27:36.740 helping white
00:27:37.180 people
00:27:37.480 that's it
00:27:38.140 we're not
00:27:39.040 interested in
00:27:39.500 helping them
00:27:40.020 and they're
00:27:43.780 never meant to
00:27:44.240 they're never
00:27:44.640 required to
00:27:45.300 defend this
00:27:45.800 this idea
00:27:46.520 this idea
00:27:47.220 that hurricanes
00:27:48.300 affect black
00:27:49.720 people more
00:27:50.300 than white
00:27:50.700 people
00:27:51.080 what
00:27:52.240 can you
00:27:53.840 explain that
00:27:54.720 can you
00:27:56.620 spend
00:27:56.960 if I give you
00:27:57.840 even 60
00:27:58.700 seconds to
00:27:59.380 elaborate
00:27:59.760 can you
00:28:00.160 spend even
00:28:00.680 can you
00:28:01.280 give me
00:28:01.960 a couple
00:28:03.040 more sentences
00:28:03.780 elaborating on
00:28:04.920 that idea
00:28:05.480 that hurricanes
00:28:08.620 impact people
00:28:09.880 depending on
00:28:10.640 the color of
00:28:11.240 their skin
00:28:11.820 of course the
00:28:14.880 media is not
00:28:15.280 going to require
00:28:15.640 them to explain
00:28:16.160 that because
00:28:16.540 it's totally
00:28:17.420 indefensible
00:28:17.900 she also
00:28:19.980 says of
00:28:20.620 course she
00:28:20.860 contradicts
00:28:22.220 herself in
00:28:23.500 the usual
00:28:23.840 leftist narrative
00:28:24.480 because she
00:28:24.920 says that
00:28:25.500 well they're
00:28:26.400 being impacted
00:28:26.860 by something
00:28:27.300 that's not
00:28:28.180 of their
00:28:28.600 making
00:28:29.180 now I agree
00:28:30.640 with that
00:28:31.060 that's true
00:28:31.660 when a black
00:28:32.680 person is
00:28:33.960 harmed by
00:28:35.600 a hurricane
00:28:36.100 when their
00:28:36.740 house is
00:28:38.000 washed away
00:28:38.440 by a hurricane
00:28:38.860 that is
00:28:39.760 something not
00:28:40.320 of their own
00:28:40.760 making
00:28:41.020 but that also
00:28:41.680 applies to
00:28:42.140 white people
00:28:42.580 now I can
00:28:44.780 say that I
00:28:45.300 believe that
00:28:45.900 but according
00:28:47.260 to Kamala
00:28:47.700 Harris no
00:28:48.460 we do
00:28:48.840 cause the
00:28:49.240 hurricanes
00:28:49.620 so what
00:28:52.740 do black
00:28:53.100 people not
00:28:53.580 contribute to
00:28:54.180 the CO2
00:28:55.260 they don't
00:28:55.540 contribute to
00:28:55.980 the warming
00:28:56.280 of the earth
00:28:56.700 according to
00:28:57.080 her
00:28:57.240 actually the
00:28:59.580 hurricane is
00:29:00.060 of their
00:29:00.320 own making
00:29:00.760 we all
00:29:01.720 did it
00:29:03.240 oh no
00:29:05.920 but there's
00:29:06.300 see there's
00:29:06.800 an intersectional
00:29:07.880 relationship
00:29:08.520 between
00:29:09.160 systemic
00:29:09.800 racism
00:29:10.340 and climate
00:29:10.940 change
00:29:11.440 and so
00:29:12.060 actually
00:29:12.440 white people
00:29:13.100 are more
00:29:13.900 guilty of
00:29:14.960 causing hurricanes
00:29:15.660 than black
00:29:16.000 people
00:29:16.300 I don't
00:29:17.540 know how
00:29:17.940 I can't
00:29:18.880 explain it
00:29:19.300 but maybe
00:29:20.020 Kamala Harris
00:29:20.480 can well
00:29:20.780 she can't
00:29:21.140 explain it
00:29:21.500 either
00:29:21.640 but she
00:29:22.100 would
00:29:22.240 she would
00:29:22.600 assert it
00:29:23.020 anyway
00:29:23.340 Libs of
00:29:25.440 TikTok has
00:29:25.980 this report
00:29:26.440 it says
00:29:26.740 Barbara Bush
00:29:28.200 Children's
00:29:28.760 Hospital in
00:29:29.300 Maine has
00:29:29.860 a gender
00:29:30.320 clinic which
00:29:30.820 offers puberty
00:29:31.460 blockers to
00:29:32.080 kids cross
00:29:32.700 sex hormones
00:29:33.240 guides for
00:29:34.100 boys on
00:29:34.660 tucking and
00:29:36.000 guides for
00:29:36.600 girls on
00:29:37.080 chest binding
00:29:37.800 they also
00:29:38.300 promote their
00:29:38.800 services and
00:29:39.340 helping young
00:29:39.800 children fully
00:29:40.360 transition and
00:29:41.800 then she
00:29:42.080 posted this
00:29:42.720 local news
00:29:43.300 report let's
00:29:43.680 watch a little
00:29:44.040 bit of this
00:29:44.420 like so many
00:29:46.320 nine-year-old
00:29:46.920 girls Lucy
00:29:47.860 Tidd loves
00:29:48.760 to dance
00:29:49.520 I love that
00:29:50.720 I'm very
00:29:51.600 flexible and
00:29:52.780 that I can
00:29:53.460 do a bunch of
00:29:54.560 stuns and
00:29:55.260 stuff in my
00:29:55.960 dancing and
00:29:57.500 that I'm very
00:29:58.100 athletic
00:29:58.600 she also loves
00:30:01.260 to play the
00:30:01.800 keyboard
00:30:02.300 but Lucy's life
00:30:03.680 wasn't always
00:30:04.440 this easygoing
00:30:05.380 that's because
00:30:06.240 Lucy wasn't
00:30:07.200 always Lucy
00:30:07.940 when my child
00:30:09.540 Benjamin was
00:30:10.440 born back in
00:30:12.080 2006 he was
00:30:15.000 born Benjamin
00:30:16.280 Thomas Tidd
00:30:17.080 Bridget says
00:30:18.100 Benjamin was
00:30:18.760 headstrong from
00:30:19.520 birth and
00:30:20.000 struggled with
00:30:20.620 behavioral issues
00:30:21.600 but she says
00:30:22.600 there were other
00:30:23.240 things that were
00:30:23.920 different about
00:30:24.580 Benjamin
00:30:25.040 we noticed at a
00:30:26.320 young age there
00:30:27.660 was this tendency
00:30:28.780 to want to
00:30:30.040 dress up and
00:30:32.520 want to do
00:30:33.500 what I do
00:30:33.940 every day and
00:30:35.120 he used to
00:30:35.640 love if I had
00:30:36.320 high heels on
00:30:37.000 he would love
00:30:37.760 to hear the
00:30:38.760 sound he said
00:30:39.380 I love that
00:30:40.000 sound mama
00:30:40.560 I love that
00:30:41.360 sound
00:30:41.640 so there it
00:30:45.160 is that's
00:30:45.780 how that's
00:30:47.320 science that
00:30:48.020 is just science
00:30:49.220 right there isn't
00:30:50.540 it because that's
00:30:51.500 how they knew
00:30:52.180 that their young
00:30:53.580 boy was actually
00:30:54.580 a girl deep
00:30:55.400 inside a girl
00:30:56.800 trapped inside
00:30:57.440 him and the
00:30:57.720 way they knew
00:30:58.280 that was that
00:30:59.680 he he liked
00:31:00.760 the sound that
00:31:02.300 high heels made
00:31:03.320 when they hit
00:31:03.720 the floor
00:31:04.160 and the
00:31:09.080 reason we
00:31:09.380 play audio
00:31:11.020 like this
00:31:11.520 for you is
00:31:12.060 because you'll
00:31:13.540 notice that
00:31:14.340 this is not
00:31:15.380 cherry picking
00:31:15.940 okay it's not
00:31:17.080 like I'm looking
00:31:17.800 for the parent
00:31:19.700 who makes the
00:31:20.720 worst possible
00:31:21.620 excuse for
00:31:23.140 transitioning their
00:31:24.060 child
00:31:24.440 every excuse is
00:31:26.940 the worst possible
00:31:27.720 excuse because
00:31:28.280 this is every
00:31:29.100 single parent
00:31:29.780 every single
00:31:30.440 one who has
00:31:32.420 been profiled
00:31:33.580 by the media
00:31:34.220 in this
00:31:34.900 celebratory way
00:31:35.880 for transitioning
00:31:36.740 their child
00:31:37.060 every single
00:31:37.780 one this is
00:31:38.880 what they say
00:31:39.280 it's almost
00:31:39.520 this exact
00:31:40.380 story over
00:31:41.560 and over
00:31:41.860 and over
00:31:42.140 again
00:31:42.440 well my
00:31:43.480 son when
00:31:44.020 he was four
00:31:44.460 years old
00:31:44.860 he was
00:31:45.420 interested in
00:31:45.980 dresses
00:31:46.300 oh so he's
00:31:46.940 a girl
00:31:47.220 we had to
00:31:49.960 permanently
00:31:50.720 change his
00:31:51.640 body
00:31:52.020 forever
00:31:52.960 because when
00:31:55.060 he was four
00:31:55.840 he liked
00:31:56.560 high heels
00:31:57.340 there is
00:32:00.580 there does
00:32:01.660 not exist
00:32:02.280 a family
00:32:02.960 out there
00:32:03.580 with a
00:32:04.020 transitioned
00:32:04.640 quote unquote
00:32:05.180 child
00:32:05.620 that had a
00:32:06.320 better reason
00:32:06.940 to do it
00:32:07.460 okay
00:32:07.740 this is it
00:32:08.660 that is all
00:32:09.620 you're ever
00:32:10.020 going to hear
00:32:10.400 this is what
00:32:10.880 it all comes
00:32:11.380 down to
00:32:11.760 always
00:32:12.420 100%
00:32:13.180 of the time
00:32:13.580 you have
00:32:16.780 a child
00:32:18.200 a young
00:32:19.400 boy
00:32:19.780 who
00:32:22.060 makes the
00:32:23.300 mistake
00:32:23.820 you know
00:32:24.400 at the age
00:32:24.960 of three
00:32:25.280 or four
00:32:25.740 being like
00:32:26.440 interested in
00:32:27.240 whatever
00:32:27.820 women's clothes
00:32:29.100 because they're
00:32:29.600 because it
00:32:29.960 doesn't
00:32:30.200 they're
00:32:31.160 bright and
00:32:31.960 colory
00:32:32.480 you know
00:32:33.080 and the
00:32:33.640 high heels
00:32:34.020 are interesting
00:32:34.540 because they
00:32:34.900 just look
00:32:35.280 different than
00:32:35.740 other shoes
00:32:36.320 and so that's
00:32:37.140 why at the
00:32:37.820 age of three
00:32:38.200 or four
00:32:38.500 he's interested
00:32:38.980 in them
00:32:39.280 and she even
00:32:40.040 says he likes
00:32:40.880 the sound
00:32:41.340 they make
00:32:41.820 that's what
00:32:42.280 interests him
00:32:42.680 about the
00:32:42.920 high heels
00:32:43.260 is that he
00:32:43.680 likes the
00:32:44.120 sound they
00:32:44.720 make
00:32:45.080 which is a
00:32:46.020 very innocent
00:32:46.640 childlike
00:32:47.420 reason for
00:32:48.040 being interested
00:32:48.680 in a
00:32:49.860 particular
00:32:50.220 shoe style
00:32:51.260 but she
00:32:55.120 takes this
00:32:55.540 as evidence
00:32:56.000 of some
00:32:57.100 deep
00:32:57.600 internal
00:32:58.080 truth
00:32:58.600 and little
00:33:00.600 did that
00:33:00.960 boy know
00:33:01.620 when he was
00:33:01.980 three or
00:33:02.220 four years
00:33:02.560 old
00:33:02.820 in simply
00:33:03.960 being interested
00:33:04.900 in this
00:33:05.660 style
00:33:06.580 you know
00:33:07.020 and being
00:33:07.560 curious as
00:33:08.260 a child
00:33:08.680 in his
00:33:09.260 childlike
00:33:09.820 curiosity
00:33:10.460 because of
00:33:12.820 that
00:33:13.080 he's now
00:33:13.900 going to
00:33:14.240 be condemned
00:33:14.980 to a
00:33:17.520 life
00:33:17.880 where he
00:33:20.180 is deprived
00:33:20.780 of his
00:33:21.120 own
00:33:21.360 boyhood
00:33:21.800 and eventually
00:33:23.080 his own
00:33:23.420 manhood
00:33:23.720 as he
00:33:23.960 grows older
00:33:24.340 let's keep
00:33:25.500 watching a
00:33:25.840 little bit
00:33:26.000 of this
00:33:26.220 at first
00:33:29.800 the tits
00:33:30.160 thought it
00:33:30.520 was just
00:33:30.900 a stage
00:33:31.360 he was
00:33:31.660 going
00:33:31.920 through
00:33:32.220 that was
00:33:32.940 until a
00:33:33.420 moment
00:33:33.660 that altered
00:33:34.340 their lives
00:33:34.940 for good
00:33:35.580 he said
00:33:36.420 to me
00:33:36.760 mom
00:33:37.100 i wish
00:33:38.320 i could
00:33:38.700 die
00:33:39.120 and god
00:33:40.500 could bring
00:33:40.880 me back
00:33:41.400 as a
00:33:42.240 girl
00:33:42.440 and that
00:33:44.140 was the
00:33:44.500 moment
00:33:44.720 we said
00:33:45.340 we would
00:33:46.380 rather have
00:33:47.220 our child
00:33:48.040 be with a
00:33:49.440 different name
00:33:49.960 and identify
00:33:50.560 as who
00:33:51.280 she wants
00:33:52.060 to be
00:33:52.500 than a
00:33:53.340 child
00:33:53.580 that isn't
00:33:53.960 here
00:33:54.120 at all
00:33:54.440 i sprang
00:33:55.300 from my
00:33:55.720 bed
00:33:55.980 to see
00:33:56.360 what was
00:33:56.700 the matter
00:33:57.160 that's
00:33:57.640 when the
00:33:57.960 kids
00:33:58.240 sought help
00:33:58.760 with the
00:33:59.020 gender
00:33:59.300 clinic
00:33:59.620 at the
00:34:00.020 barbara bush
00:34:00.480 children's
00:34:01.020 hospital
00:34:01.400 dr.
00:34:02.100 gerald
00:34:02.480 olshan
00:34:02.920 a pediatric
00:34:03.500 endocrinologist
00:34:04.340 is the
00:34:04.800 medical
00:34:05.060 director
00:34:05.600 you know
00:34:06.180 about one
00:34:06.640 in four
00:34:07.280 will
00:34:08.620 attempt
00:34:09.080 suicide
00:34:09.620 about half
00:34:10.400 will
00:34:10.580 consider
00:34:10.900 suicide
00:34:11.400 during
00:34:11.860 adolescence
00:34:12.560 and so
00:34:13.340 our big
00:34:14.400 goal
00:34:14.660 and what
00:34:14.940 got me
00:34:15.220 interested
00:34:15.540 is
00:34:15.840 how do
00:34:16.380 we help
00:34:16.720 this
00:34:16.900 population
00:34:17.520 do better
00:34:18.380 in the
00:34:19.120 long run
00:34:19.600 this isn't
00:34:20.340 a choice
00:34:20.880 in most
00:34:21.660 individuals
00:34:22.080 this is
00:34:22.460 probably
00:34:22.740 biologically
00:34:23.340 programmed
00:34:23.880 that is
00:34:29.100 such
00:34:29.320 and he
00:34:32.000 knows
00:34:32.400 that it's
00:34:32.720 the guy
00:34:34.920 in the
00:34:35.100 beard
00:34:35.260 there
00:34:35.540 he knows
00:34:36.600 it
00:34:36.920 oh it's
00:34:37.920 biologically
00:34:38.480 programmed
00:34:38.940 really
00:34:39.280 it is
00:34:39.880 huh
00:34:40.180 doctor
00:34:40.780 so where
00:34:41.880 were all
00:34:42.160 these kids
00:34:42.620 for the
00:34:43.000 whole history
00:34:43.440 of the
00:34:43.760 human
00:34:43.960 civilization
00:34:44.440 where were
00:34:45.760 they
00:34:45.960 up until
00:34:46.580 five years
00:34:47.580 ago
00:34:47.880 where were
00:34:49.160 they
00:34:49.400 so you're
00:34:51.440 positing
00:34:52.100 a vision
00:34:54.100 of human
00:34:54.840 history
00:34:55.200 where there
00:34:55.600 were
00:34:55.980 cumulatively
00:34:57.100 billions
00:34:58.380 of trans
00:34:59.760 people
00:35:00.100 who just
00:35:00.520 never came
00:35:00.940 out of the
00:35:01.140 closet
00:35:01.360 because they
00:35:01.640 weren't
00:35:01.780 being
00:35:01.960 affirmed
00:35:02.300 well if
00:35:02.780 that's
00:35:03.020 the case
00:35:03.420 then why
00:35:04.100 weren't
00:35:04.400 there
00:35:04.600 why wasn't
00:35:05.340 there a
00:35:05.620 mass
00:35:06.320 epidemic
00:35:08.480 sustained
00:35:09.920 over centuries
00:35:10.960 of suicide
00:35:11.580 because what
00:35:11.920 you're telling
00:35:12.240 us is that
00:35:13.280 it's
00:35:13.720 biologically
00:35:14.140 programmed
00:35:14.580 all these
00:35:15.280 kids are
00:35:15.580 trans
00:35:15.940 and half
00:35:16.560 of them
00:35:16.740 will kill
00:35:17.000 themselves
00:35:17.340 or at
00:35:17.560 least attempt
00:35:17.960 it if
00:35:18.640 they aren't
00:35:19.000 affirmed
00:35:19.420 well then
00:35:20.120 we should
00:35:22.500 have just
00:35:22.900 millions
00:35:23.660 and millions
00:35:24.440 and millions
00:35:25.260 of suicides
00:35:26.020 over just
00:35:27.100 the last
00:35:27.460 century
00:35:27.880 alone
00:35:28.280 kids
00:35:29.680 mysteriously
00:35:30.480 killing
00:35:30.900 themselves
00:35:31.200 all over
00:35:31.820 the place
00:35:32.320 and yet
00:35:34.300 that wasn't
00:35:34.660 happening
00:35:35.040 at all
00:35:35.740 at all
00:35:36.560 no the
00:35:39.100 child suicide
00:35:39.880 epidemic
00:35:40.360 is happening
00:35:40.920 now
00:35:41.500 in direct
00:35:43.000 correlation
00:35:44.180 with
00:35:45.680 with gender
00:35:46.600 ideology
00:35:47.040 taking hold
00:35:47.700 of their
00:35:48.660 generation
00:35:49.100 so you
00:35:50.300 might
00:35:50.540 start to
00:35:51.160 connect
00:35:51.340 some
00:35:51.500 dots
00:35:51.760 the other
00:35:52.920 thing you
00:35:53.120 always notice
00:35:53.580 in these
00:35:53.800 videos
00:35:54.020 because again
00:35:54.420 they're all
00:35:54.700 the same
00:35:55.060 and so
00:35:55.480 you'll be
00:35:56.040 excused for
00:35:56.580 thinking if
00:35:57.060 you watch
00:35:57.360 this and
00:35:57.660 think haven't
00:35:57.960 we seen
00:35:58.160 this already
00:35:58.480 you have
00:35:59.760 because they're
00:36:00.080 all the
00:36:00.300 same
00:36:00.520 and it's
00:36:02.060 the same
00:36:02.340 story over
00:36:02.860 and over
00:36:03.080 again
00:36:03.300 the lamest
00:36:04.160 possible
00:36:04.520 excuses
00:36:04.960 for doing
00:36:06.100 this to
00:36:06.340 a child
00:36:06.720 but the
00:36:07.260 other thing
00:36:07.600 that you
00:36:07.780 notice
00:36:08.180 in these
00:36:09.260 videos
00:36:09.680 every single
00:36:10.600 time
00:36:10.840 right
00:36:11.020 either
00:36:12.820 there's
00:36:13.160 no father
00:36:13.700 in the
00:36:14.200 picture
00:36:14.400 at all
00:36:14.740 so we're
00:36:15.500 just hearing
00:36:15.820 from the
00:36:16.140 mother
00:36:16.340 or the
00:36:17.900 father is
00:36:18.300 there
00:36:18.520 and he's
00:36:18.880 sitting
00:36:19.060 there
00:36:19.320 he's
00:36:19.640 this
00:36:19.860 henpecked
00:36:20.500 pathetic
00:36:21.640 little worm
00:36:23.440 just sitting
00:36:24.400 there all
00:36:24.800 frail
00:36:25.440 saying nothing
00:36:26.840 but either
00:36:30.300 way the
00:36:30.800 father's
00:36:31.180 always silent
00:36:31.980 not a big
00:36:35.140 surprise
00:36:35.520 no
00:36:37.140 when you've
00:36:38.220 got a boy
00:36:38.800 who's literally
00:36:39.620 or not
00:36:40.180 literally
00:36:40.560 but when
00:36:41.440 they are
00:36:41.680 when they
00:36:41.940 are literally
00:36:42.460 attempting
00:36:43.020 to turn a
00:36:44.300 boy into
00:36:44.720 a girl
00:36:45.240 that can
00:36:46.980 only happen
00:36:47.500 if the
00:36:48.120 father is
00:36:48.820 absent
00:36:49.460 be it
00:36:51.200 physically
00:36:51.560 absent
00:36:51.940 he's just
00:36:52.320 not in
00:36:52.640 the picture
00:36:52.900 at all
00:36:53.280 or he's
00:36:55.020 there
00:36:55.460 he's a
00:36:56.080 warm body
00:36:57.020 but in
00:36:57.380 every other
00:36:57.900 sense
00:36:58.240 emotionally
00:36:58.780 spiritually
00:36:59.260 psychologically
00:36:59.840 he's
00:37:00.640 absent
00:37:00.980 he's just
00:37:01.520 a nothing
00:37:02.000 a big
00:37:02.280 nothing
00:37:02.660 of a
00:37:02.920 man
00:37:03.140 all right
00:37:08.020 let's
00:37:10.520 see
00:37:10.740 a couple
00:37:11.240 of things
00:37:11.540 I wanted
00:37:11.740 to mention
00:37:12.100 and
00:37:14.580 all right
00:37:16.060 so I've
00:37:16.380 had this
00:37:16.640 for a few
00:37:16.880 days
00:37:17.080 and I
00:37:17.380 wanted to
00:37:17.820 talk about
00:37:18.320 it briefly
00:37:18.600 Yahoo News
00:37:19.300 has this
00:37:19.720 David Simon
00:37:20.600 who's the
00:37:21.020 creator of
00:37:21.620 the classic
00:37:22.200 HBO drama
00:37:22.920 The Wire
00:37:23.400 which is
00:37:24.660 one of my
00:37:25.340 I know I'm
00:37:26.320 not very
00:37:26.600 original in
00:37:27.080 saying it's
00:37:27.300 one of my
00:37:27.540 favorite shows
00:37:27.960 but it is
00:37:28.420 bristled on
00:37:29.860 Tuesday in
00:37:30.340 defense of
00:37:30.920 the show
00:37:31.240 after it was
00:37:31.780 called
00:37:32.200 quote
00:37:32.980 the best
00:37:33.520 piece of
00:37:33.980 conservative
00:37:34.480 art
00:37:34.980 ever made
00:37:35.700 Simon reacting
00:37:36.960 in a lengthy
00:37:37.440 Twitter thread
00:37:38.040 that ran to
00:37:38.580 30 posts
00:37:39.400 seemed to
00:37:40.380 suggest the
00:37:40.860 show could
00:37:41.620 in the same
00:37:42.060 vein represent
00:37:42.640 police in a
00:37:43.280 positive light
00:37:43.880 as it related
00:37:44.380 to the fight
00:37:45.180 against violent
00:37:45.600 crime and
00:37:46.000 homicide
00:37:46.280 while also
00:37:46.980 highlighting the
00:37:47.480 wasted resources
00:37:48.180 they inhabit
00:37:48.660 in the wider
00:37:49.380 war on drugs

00:37:51.720 quote
00:37:52.060 when an

00:37:54.280 an opponent's
00:37:54.820 language into
00:37:55.340 his own rhetoric
00:37:55.880 you can be
00:37:56.560 assured of one
00:37:57.180 thing
00:37:57.440 he's stuffing
00:37:58.220 a straw man
00:37:59.020 weak enough
00:37:59.540 so he can
00:37:59.940 wrestle with it
00:38:00.620 two things
00:38:01.320 can be true
00:38:01.700 at once
00:38:02.080 and in this
00:38:02.500 case they are
00:38:03.040 and then he
00:38:03.260 goes on from
00:38:03.620 there
00:38:03.720 so
00:38:03.920 and it is a
00:38:05.500 really long
00:38:05.840 I can't read
00:38:06.260 the whole thing
00:38:06.520 he goes on
00:38:07.120 and on
00:38:07.320 and on
00:38:07.540 about it
00:38:07.940 but we could
00:38:09.140 summarize it
00:38:09.660 by saying
00:38:10.160 that he
00:38:10.780 as the creator
00:38:11.440 of the wire
00:38:11.960 is very upset
00:38:13.720 that anyone
00:38:14.220 is claiming
00:38:14.780 it has
00:38:15.100 conservative themes
00:38:15.840 he just doesn't
00:38:16.500 agree with that
00:38:17.060 and he's upset
00:38:17.600 about it
00:38:17.920 and doesn't
00:38:18.140 like being
00:38:18.520 accused of
00:38:19.120 creating a
00:38:20.000 conservative
00:38:20.420 piece of art
00:38:20.940 because to him
00:38:21.540 that's the worst
00:38:22.920 thing that you
00:38:23.640 could be accused
00:38:24.080 of in the world
00:38:24.580 he'd rather be
00:38:25.820 accused of being
00:38:26.260 a serial killer
00:38:26.840 than to be
00:38:27.580 accused of
00:38:28.020 creating something
00:38:28.820 that conservatives
00:38:29.540 can relate to
00:38:30.380 or that even
00:38:31.760 the worst of that
00:38:32.520 actually has
00:38:33.000 conservative themes
00:38:33.820 and a conservative
00:38:34.300 message
00:38:34.740 now I bring this up
00:38:35.820 because I think
00:38:36.200 it relates to
00:38:36.680 this story
00:38:37.140 which was just
00:38:37.760 put out by the
00:38:38.400 daily wire
00:38:38.820 it says
00:38:39.760 the nation's
00:38:40.320 largest abortion
00:38:41.080 provider
00:38:41.540 Planned Parenthood
00:38:42.320 is fuming mad
00:38:43.380 over abortion
00:38:44.240 related scenes
00:38:45.020 in the latest
00:38:45.500 Marilyn Monroe
00:38:46.220 movie Blonde
00:38:47.120 the controversial
00:38:48.180 Netflix film
00:38:48.920 humanizes the
00:38:49.700 unborn on
00:38:50.300 numerous occasions
00:38:51.040 and includes
00:38:52.060 the depiction
00:38:52.480 of a violent
00:38:53.280 forced abortion
00:38:54.120 that haunts
00:38:54.940 the actress
00:38:55.560 Karen Sprook
00:38:57.160 of Planned Parenthood
00:38:58.280 Federation of
00:38:59.000 America
00:38:59.420 said
00:39:00.520 as film and TV
00:39:01.720 shapes many
00:39:02.420 people's understanding
00:39:03.160 of sexual
00:39:03.660 and reproductive
00:39:04.000 health
00:39:04.740 it's critical
00:39:05.460 these depictions
00:39:06.160 accurately portray
00:39:07.360 women's real
00:39:08.140 decisions and
00:39:08.800 experiences
00:39:09.320 while abortion
00:39:10.280 is safe
00:39:10.800 essential health
00:39:11.440 care
00:39:11.680 anti-abortion
00:39:12.680 zealots have
00:39:13.260 long contributed
00:39:13.920 to abortion
00:39:14.500 stigma
00:39:14.920 by using
00:39:15.820 medically
00:39:16.240 inaccurate
00:39:16.840 descriptions
00:39:17.360 of fetuses
00:39:18.220 and pregnancy
00:39:18.980 Andrew Dominic's
00:39:21.520 new film
00:39:21.920 Blonde
00:39:22.440 bolsters their
00:39:23.320 message with
00:39:23.840 a CGI
00:39:24.500 talking fetus
00:39:25.780 depicted to look
00:39:26.540 like a fully
00:39:27.240 formed baby
00:39:28.000 and
00:39:29.700 then she goes
00:39:31.440 on
00:39:31.560 she's very upset
00:39:32.100 that this abortion
00:39:33.160 was depicted
00:39:33.580 now I haven't
00:39:34.360 seen this movie
00:39:34.940 Blonde
00:39:35.240 I don't plan
00:39:35.960 on it
00:39:36.380 I know it got
00:39:37.160 a lot of hype
00:39:37.860 because I believe
00:39:38.760 it's NC-17
00:39:39.700 but you don't see
00:39:42.620 those kind of films
00:39:43.500 very often
00:39:44.040 and I don't
00:39:45.880 from what little
00:39:47.520 I understand of the film
00:39:48.460 I don't think it has
00:39:50.140 a necessarily
00:39:50.940 conservative
00:39:51.760 explicitly
00:39:53.780 conservative message
00:39:54.800 and I doubt that was
00:39:55.920 the point the
00:39:56.480 filmmaker was trying
00:39:57.120 to make
00:39:57.420 however
00:39:57.740 it just brings
00:39:58.820 us to this
00:39:59.300 that movies
00:40:01.180 or shows
00:40:02.200 which depict
00:40:03.620 real life
00:40:04.420 and
00:40:05.780 and speak
00:40:06.380 to real
00:40:06.880 experiences
00:40:07.500 will inevitably
00:40:09.260 have conservative
00:40:10.320 themes
00:40:10.780 that's all we
00:40:12.460 really mean
00:40:13.020 when we say
00:40:13.800 that movie
00:40:14.180 has
00:40:14.440 or show
00:40:14.840 has conservative
00:40:15.500 themes
00:40:15.960 or it's
00:40:16.240 conservative
00:40:16.700 it's just
00:40:17.480 it's just
00:40:17.820 real
00:40:18.220 it speaks
00:40:18.620 to real
00:40:19.180 things
00:40:19.800 and it has
00:40:20.400 a
00:40:20.620 it also
00:40:21.660 has a
00:40:22.080 it has
00:40:22.400 a grasp
00:40:23.360 on good
00:40:23.840 and evil
00:40:24.300 so if you've
00:40:26.320 got that
00:40:26.720 going for you
00:40:27.360 in your film
00:40:28.680 or your show
00:40:29.180 then in that sense
00:40:30.740 it's quote
00:40:31.120 conservative
00:40:31.620 which should
00:40:35.360 tell you something
00:40:35.820 about conservatism
00:40:36.700 versus leftism
00:40:37.500 and where you
00:40:38.160 want to align
00:40:38.620 yourself
00:40:38.940 and this is
00:40:40.280 especially the case
00:40:41.240 when it comes
00:40:42.220 to depictions
00:40:42.700 of abortion
00:40:43.640 because
00:40:45.720 really
00:40:46.420 any
00:40:46.960 show
00:40:47.640 or film
00:40:48.720 that depicts
00:40:49.420 abortion
00:40:49.860 or has
00:40:50.340 that you know
00:40:51.120 centers itself
00:40:51.840 around abortion
00:40:52.400 or has
00:40:52.640 abortion as part
00:40:53.560 of the plot
00:40:54.100 it ends up
00:40:56.280 coming off
00:40:57.020 like an
00:40:57.500 anti-abortion
00:40:58.420 film
00:40:59.140 even if that's
00:40:59.740 not what's
00:41:00.160 intended
00:41:00.540 and it rarely
00:41:02.980 is intended
00:41:03.620 but it just
00:41:05.540 it can't help
00:41:06.340 but come off
00:41:06.980 that way
00:41:07.520 because
00:41:08.380 abortion
00:41:09.260 is in reality
00:41:10.880 so grotesque
00:41:12.520 and abominable
00:41:13.240 and horrific
00:41:13.860 and so if you
00:41:15.820 deal with it
00:41:16.440 in any kind
00:41:16.960 of real way
00:41:17.840 at all
00:41:18.360 I mean your
00:41:19.700 only hope
00:41:20.220 is to go about
00:41:20.820 in a really
00:41:21.140 glossy sort of
00:41:21.880 way
00:41:22.020 and there have
00:41:22.360 been movies
00:41:22.700 that have
00:41:22.920 attempted that
00:41:23.500 there have
00:41:24.060 been comedies
00:41:24.820 you know
00:41:25.380 abortion related
00:41:26.140 comedies
00:41:26.700 that they try
00:41:27.100 to dress
00:41:27.440 the whole
00:41:27.700 thing up
00:41:28.040 as somehow
00:41:28.440 sort of
00:41:29.040 quirky
00:41:29.380 and funny
00:41:29.980 even that
00:41:31.360 ends up
00:41:31.780 failing
00:41:32.060 I mean if you
00:41:32.380 were to sit
00:41:32.680 and watch
00:41:33.000 those movies
00:41:33.520 you'd still
00:41:34.000 come away
00:41:34.400 from them
00:41:34.660 thinking
00:41:34.900 this is
00:41:35.320 just
00:41:35.540 horrible
00:41:36.020 this is
00:41:36.240 depressing
00:41:36.700 this is
00:41:37.100 terrible
00:41:37.420 but if the
00:41:40.640 filmmaker
00:41:41.100 whether he's
00:41:41.740 pro-life
00:41:42.100 or not
00:41:42.500 doesn't
00:41:42.880 matter
00:41:43.160 if he
00:41:44.620 actually
00:41:45.120 shows the
00:41:47.340 reality of
00:41:47.880 abortion
00:41:48.280 and we say
00:41:50.260 that we don't
00:41:50.600 necessarily mean
00:41:51.140 it doesn't have
00:41:51.440 to show
00:41:51.900 the actual
00:41:53.200 procedure
00:41:53.700 itself
00:41:54.940 but just
00:41:56.460 shows
00:41:56.920 what it
00:41:57.700 is
00:41:58.120 and then
00:41:59.740 also
00:42:00.100 crucially
00:42:00.580 the effect
00:42:01.140 it has
00:42:01.440 on the
00:42:01.620 woman
00:42:01.760 after the
00:42:02.200 fact
00:42:02.460 if it
00:42:03.560 does that
00:42:03.880 it's going
00:42:04.200 to end
00:42:04.440 up being
00:42:04.800 pro-life
00:42:05.340 just
00:42:06.440 by default
00:42:07.800 inadvertently
00:42:09.200 but still
00:42:09.680 similar thing
00:42:12.600 with the
00:42:12.820 wire
00:42:13.020 I mean
00:42:13.200 that's
00:42:13.620 why
00:42:13.820 you could
00:42:14.160 accuse
00:42:14.460 the wire
00:42:14.880 accuse
00:42:15.340 it
00:42:15.520 of being
00:42:15.840 conservative
00:42:16.280 now it
00:42:16.640 doesn't
00:42:16.920 have
00:42:17.200 anything
00:42:17.380 to do
00:42:17.540 with
00:42:17.640 abortion
00:42:17.940 I don't
00:42:18.160 think
00:42:18.280 abortion
00:42:18.580 factors
00:42:19.000 in
00:42:19.220 but
00:42:19.580 it
00:42:20.220 does
00:42:20.580 have
00:42:21.060 a
00:42:21.700 pretty
00:42:21.840 firm
00:42:22.200 sense
00:42:22.600 of
00:42:22.780 good
00:42:23.120 versus
00:42:24.400 evil
00:42:24.820 now that's
00:42:26.420 not to
00:42:26.680 say that
00:42:26.940 the
00:42:27.080 characters
00:42:27.540 there's
00:42:28.700 lots of
00:42:29.020 shades
00:42:29.280 of gray
00:42:29.580 in the
00:42:29.780 actual
00:42:30.080 characters
00:42:30.600 and in
00:42:31.000 their
00:42:31.160 own
00:42:31.440 motivations
00:42:32.000 and
00:42:32.500 their
00:42:33.280 own
00:42:33.540 moral
00:42:33.880 guilt
00:42:34.220 for
00:42:34.420 the
00:42:34.540 things
00:42:34.740 that
00:42:34.900 they
00:42:35.040 do
00:42:35.320 so
00:42:35.800 that's
00:42:36.680 where
00:42:36.780 you
00:42:36.880 have
00:42:37.020 complexity
00:42:37.440 and
00:42:37.660 that's
00:42:37.840 true
00:42:38.260 life
00:42:38.600 but
00:42:40.960 there
00:42:41.120 is
00:42:41.320 good
00:42:41.620 and
00:42:41.860 there
00:42:42.240 is
00:42:42.420 evil
00:42:42.700 in
00:42:43.380 this
00:42:43.580 in
00:42:43.840 the
00:42:43.940 world
00:42:44.220 of
00:42:44.740 the
00:42:45.300 wire
00:42:45.500 all right
00:42:46.820 this is
00:42:47.240 finally
00:42:47.480 from
00:42:47.700 yahoo
00:42:48.020 it
00:42:48.160 says
00:42:48.360 it's
00:42:48.520 been
00:42:48.680 nearly
00:42:48.960 100
00:42:49.260 days
00:42:49.660 since
00:42:49.960 supreme

00:42:55.260 away
00:42:55.500 quietly
00:42:55.940 on
00:42:56.560 Friday
00:42:56.860 black
00:42:57.200 women

00:42:58.620 racial
00:42:58.900 justice
00:42:59.320 organizations
00:42:59.760 are
00:42:59.980 challenging
00:43:00.400 Americans
00:43:00.860 to put
00:43:01.760 down
00:43:02.020 their
00:43:02.200 work
00:43:02.620 and
00:43:03.200 come
00:43:03.420 together
00:43:03.740 for a
00:43:04.080 collective
00:43:04.440 day
00:43:04.860 of
00:43:05.500 action
00:43:06.060 that
00:43:06.280 they're
00:43:06.460 calling
00:43:06.800 a
00:43:07.020 day
00:43:07.260 without
00:43:07.580 us
00:43:08.100 the
00:43:08.760 event
00:43:08.960 which
00:43:09.120 is
00:43:09.220 being
00:43:09.360 organized
00:43:09.740 by
00:43:09.980 advocates
00:43:10.380 at
00:43:10.560 the
00:43:10.680 front
00:43:10.960 line
00:43:11.260 net
00:43:11.520 roots
00:43:11.720 nation
00:43:12.040 and
00:43:12.240 several
00:43:12.420 other
00:43:12.580 national
00:43:12.880 advocacy
00:43:13.120 groups
00:43:13.360 also
00:43:13.840 marks
00:43:14.080 the
00:43:14.220 46th
00:43:14.640 anniversary
00:43:14.960 of
00:43:15.160 the
00:43:15.540 Hyde
00:43:15.820 amendment
00:43:16.180 as
00:43:19.220 for
00:43:19.360 how
00:43:19.520 the
00:43:19.660 day
00:43:19.820 is
00:43:19.920 actually
00:43:20.140 going
00:43:20.360 to
00:43:20.480 work
00:43:20.700 the
00:43:20.860 general
00:43:21.120 idea
00:43:21.520 is
00:43:22.220 that
00:43:22.380 folks
00:43:22.700 would
00:43:22.960 skip
00:43:23.460 work
00:43:23.920 and
00:43:24.340 their
00:43:24.600 routines
00:43:25.060 to
00:43:25.340 attend
00:43:25.600 an
00:43:25.760 all
00:43:25.980 day
00:43:26.180 digital
00:43:26.700 teach-in
00:43:27.340 session
00:43:27.740 starting
00:43:28.440 at
00:43:28.600 1130
00:43:29.220 a.m.
00:43:29.760 Eastern
00:43:30.040 time
00:43:30.420 and
00:43:31.860 so
00:43:31.960 this
00:43:32.080 is
00:43:32.180 what
00:43:32.300 they
00:43:32.400 want
00:43:32.580 I
00:43:32.720 guess
00:43:33.540 this
00:43:33.720 is
00:43:33.940 focused
00:43:35.100 especially
00:43:35.520 on
00:43:35.700 black
00:43:35.940 women
00:43:36.220 but
00:43:37.200 not
00:43:37.400 just
00:43:37.660 them
00:43:37.880 I
00:43:37.980 think
00:43:38.080 anyone
00:43:38.320 could
00:43:38.580 join
00:43:39.300 in
00:43:39.520 this
00:43:39.820 already
00:43:40.000 happened
00:43:40.280 by the
00:43:40.440 way
00:43:40.540 this
00:43:40.600 happened
00:43:40.760 on
00:43:40.880 Friday
00:43:41.120 so
00:43:42.220 what
00:43:42.340 they
00:43:42.400 were
00:43:42.480 saying
00:43:42.660 is
00:43:42.780 we
00:43:42.880 want
00:43:43.020 you
00:43:43.080 to
00:43:43.220 drop
00:43:43.540 out
00:43:43.820 of
00:43:44.040 everyday
00:43:44.380 life
00:43:44.760 for
00:43:44.900 a
00:43:45.020 day
00:43:45.220 and
00:43:47.120 I
00:43:47.220 think
00:43:47.340 it's
00:43:47.460 no
00:43:47.640 matter
00:43:47.760 what
00:43:47.920 your
00:43:48.040 race
00:43:48.320 is
00:43:48.560 if
00:43:48.700 you're
00:43:49.100 pro
00:43:49.860 abortion
00:43:50.800 and
00:43:51.320 you
00:43:51.440 really
00:43:51.600 believe
00:43:51.860 in
00:43:51.980 abortion
00:43:52.420 rights
00:43:52.800 drop
00:43:53.460 out
00:43:54.180 of
00:43:54.300 life
00:43:54.560 for
00:43:54.760 a
00:43:54.880 day
00:43:55.120 and
00:43:56.180 don't
00:43:56.820 go
00:43:57.120 shopping
00:43:57.580 don't
00:43:57.900 go
00:43:58.000 to
00:43:58.140 work
00:43:58.500 and
00:43:59.560 we'll
00:43:59.740 show
00:43:59.980 everybody
00:44:00.400 we'll
00:44:00.820 let
00:44:01.240 them
00:44:01.320 see
00:44:01.460 what
00:44:01.560 it's
00:44:01.680 like
00:44:01.840 to
00:44:01.980 not
00:44:02.300 have
00:44:02.480 us
00:44:02.660 around
00:44:02.940 but
00:44:04.880 this
00:44:05.000 was
00:44:05.120 on
00:44:05.320 Friday
00:44:05.680 and
00:44:06.760 nobody
00:44:07.800 noticed
00:44:08.200 I'm
00:44:08.920 not
00:44:09.020 trying
00:44:09.160 to
00:44:09.240 mean
00:44:09.540 here
00:44:09.780 but
00:44:10.040 no
00:44:10.540 one
00:44:10.680 noticed
00:44:10.960 at
00:44:11.160 all
00:44:11.420 so
00:44:13.120 the
00:44:13.260 pro
00:44:13.420 abortion
00:44:13.680 women
00:44:13.960 dropped
00:44:14.380 out
00:44:14.660 of
00:44:14.860 life
00:44:15.260 for
00:44:15.440 a
00:44:15.560 day
00:44:15.760 and
00:44:15.960 literally
00:44:16.440 no
00:44:16.920 one
00:44:17.120 noticed
00:44:17.440 everything
00:44:17.980 continued
00:44:18.680 as
00:44:19.060 normal
00:44:19.440 it
00:44:19.860 was
00:44:20.040 not
00:44:20.720 even
00:44:20.900 the
00:44:21.100 slightest
00:44:21.420 inconvenience
00:44:22.560 to
00:44:22.740 anyone
00:44:23.120 which
00:44:25.680 is
00:44:25.980 not
00:44:26.320 the
00:44:26.520 point
00:44:26.780 you
00:44:26.940 want
00:44:27.080 to
00:44:27.180 make
00:44:27.500 okay
00:44:28.620 that's
00:44:28.740 why
00:44:28.840 you
00:44:28.940 got
00:44:29.020 to
00:44:29.120 be
00:44:29.400 really
00:44:29.580 careful
00:44:29.860 if
00:44:29.980 you
00:44:30.020 have
00:44:30.080 to
00:44:30.100 organize
00:44:30.540 an
00:44:30.700 event
00:44:30.880 like
00:44:31.100 this
00:44:31.300 you
00:44:31.400 have
00:44:31.500 to
00:44:31.580 have
00:44:31.900 some
00:44:32.160 idea
00:44:32.440 ahead
00:44:32.600 of
00:44:32.680 time
00:44:32.820 of
00:44:32.940 how
00:44:33.040 many
00:44:33.160 people
00:44:33.320 are
00:44:33.420 going
00:44:33.500 to
00:44:33.540 participate
00:44:33.900 and
00:44:35.480 it's
00:44:35.620 also
00:44:35.840 important
00:44:36.200 that
00:44:36.460 you
00:44:36.620 know
00:44:36.760 if
00:44:37.700 you're
00:44:38.040 trying
00:44:38.260 to
00:44:38.380 mobilize
00:44:38.700 a
00:44:38.860 certain
00:44:39.000 group
00:44:39.140 of
00:44:39.260 people
00:44:39.540 that
00:44:40.400 they
00:44:40.540 actually
00:44:40.940 have
00:44:41.180 sort
00:44:41.340 of
00:44:41.380 a
00:44:41.500 pivotal
00:44:41.720 role
00:44:42.080 in
00:44:42.260 society
00:44:42.740 and
00:44:43.200 they
00:44:43.300 have
00:44:43.460 important
00:44:43.780 jobs
00:44:44.200 and
00:44:44.340 so
00:44:44.460 then
00:44:44.600 if
00:44:44.720 they
00:44:44.820 stop
00:44:45.140 doing
00:44:45.320 that
00:44:45.460 job
00:44:45.680 for
00:44:45.800 a
00:44:45.900 day
00:44:46.000 people
00:44:46.240 will
00:44:46.400 notice
00:44:46.800 but
00:44:47.880 pro
00:44:48.620 abortion
00:44:48.960 feminists
00:44:49.580 most of
00:44:50.480 them
00:44:50.520 don't
00:44:50.620 even
00:44:50.740 have
00:44:50.940 jobs
00:44:51.180 in
00:44:51.260 the
00:44:51.340 first
00:44:51.520 place
00:44:51.820 so
00:44:54.140 doesn't
00:44:54.380 work
00:44:54.500 out
00:44:54.600 it's
00:44:54.820 kind
00:44:54.960 of
00:44:55.020 like
00:44:55.140 if
00:44:55.280 you
00:44:55.480 go
00:44:56.200 on
00:44:56.400 vacation
00:44:56.900 for
00:44:57.200 a
00:44:57.340 week
00:44:57.600 and
00:44:58.200 you
00:44:58.480 tell
00:44:58.700 yourself
00:44:59.160 that
00:44:59.400 my
00:44:59.880 job
00:45:00.960 things
00:45:01.400 are
00:45:01.500 going to
00:45:01.620 fall
00:45:01.780 apart
00:45:02.020 without
00:45:02.220 me
00:45:02.400 and
00:45:02.780 then
00:45:02.880 you
00:45:02.980 come
00:45:03.180 back
00:45:03.620 and
00:45:04.040 everything
00:45:04.380 is
00:45:04.560 working
00:45:04.780 actually
00:45:05.300 things
00:45:05.500 are
00:45:05.600 working
00:45:05.840 better
00:45:06.260 than
00:45:06.780 they
00:45:06.920 were
00:45:07.300 things
00:45:08.480 work
00:45:08.700 better
00:45:08.940 without
00:45:09.160 you
00:45:09.460 then
00:45:12.400 you're
00:45:12.520 in
00:45:12.620 bad
00:45:12.820 shape
00:45:13.060 and
00:45:14.380 see
00:45:14.520 this
00:45:14.760 is
00:45:14.880 why
00:45:15.100 I
00:45:15.400 would
00:45:15.580 never
00:45:15.820 organize
00:45:16.500 a
00:45:16.920 day
00:45:17.580 without
00:45:17.900 podcasters
00:45:18.660 event
00:45:18.940 I
00:45:19.160 would
00:45:24.140 Stan
00:45:36.780 Thompson
00:45:37.160 says
00:45:37.580 Jordan
00:45:37.900 Peterson
00:45:38.240 literally
00:45:38.780 saved
00:45:39.280 my
00:45:39.500 life
00:45:39.860 if
00:45:40.040 it
00:45:40.160 wasn't
00:45:40.400 for
00:45:40.560 him
00:45:40.820 I
00:45:41.060 wouldn't
00:45:41.340 have
00:45:41.480 gotten
00:45:41.720 over
00:45:41.960 my
00:45:42.280 debilitating
00:45:43.220 crystal meth
00:45:43.820 addiction
00:45:44.080 I
00:45:44.260 suffered
00:45:44.500 for
00:45:44.660 15
00:45:44.940 years
00:45:45.200 from
00:45:45.360 homeless
00:45:45.720 and
00:45:45.940 everything
00:45:46.240 a
00:45:46.760 huge
00:45:46.960 reason
00:45:47.300 I
00:45:47.560 am
00:45:47.740 who
00:45:47.860 I
00:45:47.940 am
00:45:48.040 today
00:45:48.240 is
00:45:48.380 because
00:45:48.540 Jordan
00:45:48.780 Peterson
00:45:49.040 he's
00:45:49.300 one
00:45:49.400 of
00:45:49.480 the
00:45:49.540 most
00:45:49.680 amazing
00:45:50.060 human
00:45:50.280 beings
00:45:50.500 of
00:45:50.640 our
00:45:50.740 generation
00:45:51.140 truly
00:45:51.500 a
00:45:51.700 rare
00:45:51.900 gem
00:45:52.180 of
00:45:52.280 a
00:45:52.360 human
00:45:52.480 being
00:45:52.740 people
00:45:53.340 like
00:45:53.540 him
00:45:53.760 are
00:45:53.920 extremely
00:45:54.320 rare
00:45:54.900 and
00:45:55.020 should
00:45:55.120 be
00:45:55.240 protected
00:45:55.600 and cherished
00:45:56.080 at all
00:45:56.320 costs
00:45:56.640 he
00:45:57.080 wants
00:45:57.260 nothing
00:45:57.440 but the
00:45:57.700 best
00:45:57.900 for all
00:45:58.220 people
00:45:58.600 man
00:45:59.360 has a
00:45:59.600 true
00:45:59.760 heart
00:45:59.960 of
00:46:00.080 gold
00:46:00.240 honestly
00:46:00.620 when
00:46:00.860 the
00:46:01.000 liberals
00:46:01.260 all
00:46:01.560 began
00:46:01.860 hating
00:46:02.160 on
00:46:02.360 him
00:46:02.520 that
00:46:02.720 was
00:46:02.880 what
00:46:03.020 began
00:46:03.300 waking
00:46:03.620 me
00:46:03.800 up
00:46:03.920 to
00:46:04.040 what
00:46:04.160 was
00:46:04.280 happening
00:46:04.640 to
00:46:05.080 the
00:46:05.140 Democrat
00:46:05.400 party
00:46:05.780 and
00:46:05.940 pushed
00:46:06.160 me
00:46:06.320 to
00:46:06.500 leave
00:46:06.720 that
00:46:06.900 party
00:46:07.220 Jordan
00:46:08.080 Peterson
00:46:08.360 is
00:46:08.580 demonized
00:46:09.240 yet
00:46:09.400 a
00:46:09.560 man
00:46:09.840 who
00:46:10.020 assaulted
00:46:10.380 a
00:46:10.560 pregnant
00:46:10.800 woman
00:46:11.080 during
00:46:11.500 an
00:46:11.640 armed
00:46:11.860 home
00:46:12.060 invasion
00:46:12.400 has
00:46:12.840 a
00:46:13.020 statue
00:46:13.300 built
00:46:13.580 for
00:46:13.740 him
00:46:13.920 and
00:46:14.320 is
00:46:14.460 worshipped
00:46:14.840 by
00:46:15.020 all
00:46:15.320 on
00:46:15.500 the
00:46:15.580 left
00:46:15.800 yeah
00:46:16.420 well
00:46:16.560 that's
00:46:16.960 and
00:46:17.680 that's
00:46:17.980 not
00:46:18.080 by
00:46:18.240 accident
00:46:18.600 there's
00:46:19.340 a
00:46:19.460 direct
00:46:19.940 connection
00:46:20.380 there
00:46:20.680 that
00:46:21.480 essentially
00:46:23.040 on the
00:46:23.400 left
00:46:23.780 if you
00:46:24.600 actually
00:46:25.000 care
00:46:25.640 about
00:46:26.220 the
00:46:26.560 well-being
00:46:27.160 of
00:46:27.420 human
00:46:27.680 beings
00:46:28.120 and
00:46:28.860 you
00:46:28.940 try
00:46:29.080 to
00:46:29.140 make
00:46:29.280 people's
00:46:29.600 lives
00:46:29.900 better
00:46:30.360 actually
00:46:31.360 better
00:46:31.780 then
00:46:32.500 they're
00:46:32.700 going
00:46:32.800 to
00:46:32.880 hate
00:46:33.060 you
00:46:33.300 and
00:46:34.240 really
00:46:34.460 as
00:46:34.600 simple
00:46:34.760 as
00:46:34.900 that
00:46:35.080 and
00:46:36.700 if
00:46:36.840 you
00:46:37.000 have
00:46:37.320 actively
00:46:37.720 worked
00:46:37.980 to
00:46:38.140 harm
00:46:38.360 people
00:46:38.720 or
00:46:39.160 at
00:46:39.380 the
00:46:39.460 very
00:46:39.560 least
00:46:39.800 done
00:46:40.180 nothing
00:46:40.500 to
00:46:40.640 help
00:46:40.820 anyone
00:46:41.080 ever
00:46:41.320 in
00:46:41.460 your
00:46:41.580 life
00:46:41.860 then
00:46:42.320 you've
00:46:42.440 got
00:46:42.520 a
00:46:42.680 much
00:46:42.900 better
00:46:43.160 chance
00:46:43.600 of
00:46:44.420 being
00:46:44.860 hailed
00:46:45.500 as
00:46:45.660 a
00:46:45.760 hero
00:46:45.900 by
00:46:46.080 the
00:46:46.180 left
00:46:46.400 but
00:46:47.400 this
00:46:47.620 is
00:46:47.900 basically
00:46:48.220 the
00:46:48.420 number
00:46:48.660 one
00:46:49.080 sin
00:46:49.680 that
00:46:50.080 you
00:46:50.180 can
00:46:50.360 commit
00:46:50.660 as far
00:46:50.920 as
00:46:51.020 the
00:46:51.100 left
00:46:51.200 is
00:46:51.280 to
00:46:52.260 help
00:46:52.500 people
00:46:52.840 because
00:46:54.040 that's
00:46:54.320 all
00:46:54.460 Jordan
00:46:54.780 Peterson
00:46:55.060 is
00:46:55.260 doing
00:46:55.440 if
00:46:55.700 you
00:46:56.220 didn't
00:46:56.380 know
00:46:56.560 any
00:46:56.720 better
00:46:57.000 and
00:46:58.340 you
00:46:58.460 weren't
00:46:58.640 clued
00:46:58.840 in
00:46:58.980 at
00:46:59.080 all
00:46:59.380 and
00:46:59.600 you
00:46:59.860 saw
00:47:00.200 this
00:47:00.500 you'd
00:47:01.120 be
00:47:01.220 baffled
00:47:01.620 by
00:47:01.880 how much
00:47:03.220 they
00:47:03.360 hate
00:47:03.560 Jordan
00:47:03.900 Peterson
00:47:04.380 it's
00:47:05.300 like
00:47:05.440 why
00:47:06.680 do
00:47:07.680 you
00:47:07.780 hate
00:47:07.940 him
00:47:08.160 so
00:47:08.400 much
00:47:08.660 what
00:47:08.840 did
00:47:09.100 he
00:47:09.160 ever
00:47:09.320 do
00:47:09.500 to
00:47:09.640 you
00:47:09.980 he's
00:47:12.160 just
00:47:12.360 offering
00:47:12.780 his
00:47:13.100 insights
00:47:13.940 and
00:47:14.240 he
00:47:14.440 obviously
00:47:15.040 really
00:47:15.280 cares
00:47:15.540 about
00:47:15.740 people
00:47:16.100 that's
00:47:16.900 why
00:47:17.020 he
00:47:17.100 gets
00:47:17.220 emotional
00:47:17.620 when
00:47:17.800 he
00:47:17.900 talks
00:47:18.180 about
00:47:18.420 it
00:47:18.640 so
00:47:20.380 whether
00:47:20.560 you
00:47:20.720 agree
00:47:20.980 with
00:47:21.120 everything
00:47:21.340 he
00:47:21.480 says
00:47:21.660 or
00:47:21.780 not
00:47:22.060 the
00:47:22.220 hatred
00:47:23.580 is
00:47:25.380 almost
00:47:25.780 baffling
00:47:26.220 until
00:47:26.960 again
00:47:27.220 you
00:47:27.340 realize
00:47:27.680 that
00:47:27.860 on
00:47:28.040 the
00:47:28.160 left
00:47:28.340 they
00:47:28.520 are
00:47:28.660 really
00:47:29.040 anti
00:47:29.480 human
00:47:29.880 that's
00:47:32.800 what
00:47:32.880 it
00:47:32.960 comes
00:47:33.140 from
00:47:33.660 Brittany
00:47:35.620 says
00:47:35.960 I
00:47:36.100 saw
00:47:36.320 this
00:47:36.520 clip
00:47:36.760 of
00:47:36.940 JP
00:47:37.300 last
00:47:37.760 night
00:47:38.060 and
00:47:38.540 I
00:47:39.640 thought
00:47:39.940 the
00:47:40.100 marginalized
00:47:40.480 were
00:47:40.740 supposed
00:47:40.940 to
00:47:41.100 have
00:47:41.220 a
00:47:41.340 voice
00:47:41.700 line
00:47:42.680 brought
00:47:42.960 a
00:47:43.120 tear
00:47:43.260 to
00:47:43.380 my
00:47:43.520 eyes
00:47:43.820 I
00:47:43.960 honestly
00:47:44.180 had
00:47:44.320 never
00:47:44.460 thought
00:47:44.860 of
00:47:45.100 young
00:47:45.340 men
00:47:45.680 identified
00:47:46.200 as
00:47:46.460 incels
00:47:46.940 like
00:47:47.300 that
00:47:47.640 and
00:47:48.900 that
00:47:49.220 exactly
00:47:49.500 shows
00:47:49.920 how
00:47:50.420 effective
00:47:50.980 the
00:47:51.160 marginalization
00:47:51.760 campaign
00:47:52.240 has
00:47:53.120 been
00:47:53.360 and
00:47:54.760 you
00:47:55.160 put
00:47:55.320 a
00:47:55.440 label
00:47:55.760 there's
00:47:56.380 a
00:47:56.460 certain
00:47:56.620 group
00:47:56.760 of
00:47:56.860 people
00:47:57.040 you
00:47:57.180 don't
00:47:57.380 like
00:47:57.680 and
00:47:57.860 in
00:47:57.940 the
00:47:58.020 case
00:47:58.180 of
00:47:58.280 the
00:47:58.380 left
00:47:58.560 they
00:47:58.740 really
00:47:58.940 hate
00:47:59.260 young
00:47:59.620 men
00:47:59.920 young
00:48:00.960 white
00:48:01.220 men
00:48:01.420 in
00:48:01.560 particular
00:48:02.000 and
00:48:02.860 so
00:48:03.020 you
00:48:03.180 just
00:48:03.340 put
00:48:03.480 a
00:48:03.600 label
00:48:03.800 on
00:48:04.020 them
00:48:04.200 in
00:48:04.440 this
00:48:04.600 case
00:48:04.820 you
00:48:04.940 say
00:48:05.120 they're
00:48:05.480 incels
00:48:05.900 we're
00:48:06.080 going to
00:48:06.140 call
00:48:06.260 them
00:48:06.360 all
00:48:06.480 incels
00:48:06.840 and
00:48:07.580 then
00:48:07.700 that
00:48:07.840 becomes
00:48:08.100 your
00:48:08.260 excuse
00:48:08.720 to
00:48:10.080 hate
00:48:10.380 them
00:48:10.600 and
00:48:12.780 when
00:48:12.900 anyone
00:48:13.080 defends
00:48:13.480 them
00:48:13.800 and
00:48:14.260 says
00:48:14.460 well
00:48:14.580 you
00:48:14.680 shouldn't
00:48:14.840 hate
00:48:14.980 this
00:48:15.140 group
00:48:15.360 they
00:48:15.520 say
00:48:15.660 no
00:48:15.760 they
00:48:15.900 deserve
00:48:16.180 it
00:48:16.380 they
00:48:16.620 actually
00:48:16.860 deserve
00:48:17.180 it
00:48:17.820 of
00:48:19.720 course
00:48:19.860 tyrants
00:48:21.220 through
00:48:21.420 history
00:48:21.720 that's
00:48:21.900 what
00:48:22.000 they
00:48:22.120 always
00:48:22.480 say
00:48:22.780 they
00:48:24.540 have
00:48:24.740 their
00:48:24.880 group
00:48:25.120 they're
00:48:25.320 demonizing
00:48:25.940 and
00:48:26.720 they
00:48:26.880 always
00:48:27.200 say
00:48:27.600 that
00:48:27.840 well
00:48:28.100 in
00:48:28.320 general
00:48:28.560 I
00:48:28.740 wouldn't
00:48:29.020 treat
00:48:29.320 a
00:48:29.420 group
00:48:29.540 this
00:48:29.740 way
00:48:29.920 but
00:48:30.120 these
00:48:30.400 people
00:48:30.660 deserve
00:48:31.040 it
00:48:31.340 and
00:48:34.780 Obi
00:48:35.140 Ken
00:48:35.480 Ken
00:48:35.720 says
00:48:36.440 as
00:48:37.380 evident
00:48:37.600 by
00:48:37.800 the

00:48:38.560 ad
00:48:38.940 Matt
00:48:39.340 clearly
00:48:39.660 just

00:48:40.200 whatever
00:48:40.480 is

00:49:02.500 yeah
00:49:02.620 we

00:49:08.880 what our

00:49:09.280 would be
00:49:09.600 so the

00:49:10.140 would have
00:49:10.400 to do
00:49:10.680 something
00:49:11.080 and we
00:49:12.800 never
00:49:13.040 decided
00:49:13.460 on it
00:49:13.800 so I

00:49:14.240 we

00:51:18.400 famous
00:51:19.080 you might

00:51:21.640 types
00:51:22.020 on

00:51:22.460 though
00:51:22.760 largely
00:51:23.120 unknown
00:51:23.540 outside
00:51:23.900 of that
00:51:24.320 admittedly
00:51:24.840 somewhat
00:51:25.160 insular
00:51:25.600 circle
00:51:26.460 French
00:51:27.360 is one
00:51:27.660 of those
00:51:28.040 self-professed
00:51:28.860 reasonable
00:51:29.460 and principled
00:51:30.460 conservative
00:51:31.020 pundits
00:51:31.480 who proves
00:51:32.480 his reasonableness
00:51:33.220 by focusing
00:51:33.960 his criticism
00:51:34.540 almost entirely
00:51:35.500 to the right
00:51:36.500 he likes to
00:51:37.300 focus especially
00:51:37.980 on attacking
00:51:38.640 what he views
00:51:39.420 as far-right
00:51:40.840 extremist
00:51:41.480 evangelicals
00:51:42.460 he believes
00:51:43.080 that the
00:51:43.320 biggest
00:51:43.500 problem
00:51:43.880 in the
00:51:44.120 Christian
00:51:44.380 church
00:51:44.680 is that
00:51:45.500 Christians
00:51:45.820 are too
00:51:46.400 militant
00:51:46.960 and too
00:51:47.720 right-wing
00:51:48.220 which is
00:51:49.000 to say
00:51:49.280 that David
00:51:49.620 French
00:51:49.940 is just
00:51:50.580 based on
00:51:50.880 that alone
00:51:51.340 totally
00:51:52.560 clueless
00:51:53.060 because the
00:51:53.880 actual problem
00:51:54.380 in the church
00:51:54.740 is quite
00:51:55.500 the opposite
00:51:55.980 of that
00:51:56.360 but up
00:51:57.080 until this
00:51:57.360 point
00:51:57.560 French
00:51:57.880 had not
00:51:58.260 spent
00:51:58.480 much
00:51:58.760 time
00:51:59.240 applying
00:52:00.820 his
00:52:01.260 brand
00:52:01.660 of
00:52:01.820 cluelessness
00:52:02.340 to the
00:52:03.300 debates
00:52:03.840 over
00:52:04.260 gender
00:52:04.620 ideology
00:52:05.120 which is a
00:52:06.380 rather
00:52:06.580 noticeable
00:52:07.060 evasion
00:52:07.600 especially
00:52:07.980 because he
00:52:08.480 lives I
00:52:08.860 believe in
00:52:09.280 Tennessee
00:52:09.600 yet he has
00:52:10.660 said nothing
00:52:11.080 about
00:52:11.480 the Vanderbilt
00:52:11.900 scandal
00:52:12.280 and still
00:52:13.280 has said
00:52:13.580 nothing
00:52:13.800 about it
00:52:14.200 actually
00:52:14.540 but he
00:52:14.880 has finally
00:52:15.520 chimed in
00:52:16.040 on the
00:52:16.360 broader
00:52:16.580 topic
00:52:17.040 and what
00:52:18.040 he had
00:52:18.280 to say
00:52:18.660 is somehow
00:52:19.600 even more
00:52:20.340 vapid
00:52:20.940 and incoherent
00:52:21.700 than I
00:52:22.820 even expected
00:52:23.540 so I'm
00:52:24.120 going to read
00:52:24.360 from his
00:52:24.620 piece
00:52:24.920 on the
00:52:25.540 dispatch
00:52:25.860 and he
00:52:26.520 begins
00:52:26.880 with what
00:52:27.520 seems to
00:52:27.940 be an
00:52:28.160 encouraging
00:52:28.660 note
00:52:29.520 he says
00:52:29.940 this
00:52:30.220 I'm
00:52:31.020 I'm
00:52:31.120 a
00:52:31.200 person
00:52:31.440 who
00:52:31.580 believes
00:52:31.880 in
00:52:31.960 the
00:52:32.040 traditional
00:52:32.420 Christian
00:52:32.860 doctrines
00:52:33.360 of
00:52:33.520 marriage
00:52:33.860 and
00:52:34.080 sexual
00:52:34.400 morality
00:52:34.840 I
00:52:35.240 don't
00:52:35.360 believe
00:52:35.620 in
00:52:35.820 sex
00:52:36.100 outside
00:52:36.380 of
00:52:36.580 marriage
00:52:36.800 between
00:52:37.020 a
00:52:37.160 man
00:52:37.320 and a
00:52:37.520 woman
00:52:37.660 I
00:52:38.280 don't
00:52:38.500 agree
00:52:38.840 that
00:52:39.160 trans
00:52:40.800 men
00:52:41.140 are
00:52:41.440 men

00:52:43.040 women
00:52:43.300 and
00:52:43.980 while
00:52:44.260 I
00:52:44.420 strive
00:52:44.700 to
00:52:44.840 treat
00:52:45.020 every
00:52:45.260 person
00:52:45.560 I
00:52:45.720 encounter
00:52:46.060 with
00:52:46.320 dignity
00:52:46.700 and
00:52:46.920 respect
00:52:47.320 I
00:52:48.080 don't
00:52:48.240 use
00:52:48.520 preferred

00:52:50.020 their

00:52:53.080 to
00:52:53.340 which
00:52:53.540 I
00:52:53.700 do
00:52:53.840 not
00:52:54.080 subscribe
00:52:54.600 so
00:52:55.680 I
00:52:55.940 will
00:52:56.060 say
00:52:56.240 that
00:52:56.440 David
00:52:57.040 French
00:52:57.420 not
00:52:57.760 using
00:52:58.080 preferred
00:52:58.420 pronouns
00:52:58.860 is
00:52:59.240 a
00:52:59.420 curveball
00:53:00.000 that
00:53:00.220 I
00:53:00.480 didn't
00:53:00.620 see
00:53:00.780 coming
00:53:01.060 maybe
00:53:01.940 I
00:53:02.100 misjudged
00:53:02.560 the
00:53:02.700 man
00:53:02.900 or
00:53:03.600 maybe
00:53:03.760 not
00:53:04.020 because
00:53:04.500 he
00:53:04.640 continues
00:53:05.000 that
00:53:06.140 makes
00:53:06.400 me
00:53:06.560 pretty
00:53:06.780 far
00:53:07.100 right
00:53:07.380 correct
00:53:07.860 well
00:53:08.900 not
00:53:09.260 when
00:53:09.420 the
00:53:09.540 right
00:53:09.700 gets
00:53:09.920 authoritarian
00:53:10.440 or
00:53:10.960 closes
00:53:11.320 its

00:53:11.900 and
00:53:12.060 heart
00:53:12.280 to
00:53:12.440 the

00:53:12.920 of
00:53:13.180 real
00:53:13.480 injustice
00:53:13.980 oh
00:53:15.420 well
00:53:15.560 see
00:53:15.760 there's
00:53:16.040 David
00:53:16.480 French
00:53:16.760 we
00:53:16.900 know
00:53:17.060 and
00:53:17.160 love
00:53:17.340 he
00:53:17.900 goes
00:53:18.120 on

00:53:18.780 condemn
00:53:19.180 California
00:53:19.780 for
00:53:20.060 its
00:53:20.220 recent

00:53:25.280 it's

00:53:25.900 minors
00:53:26.300 can

00:53:28.040 and

00:53:31.440 and
00:53:32.440 he's
00:53:32.580 right
00:53:32.740 that
00:53:32.900 it
00:53:32.980 is
00:53:33.140 wrong
00:53:33.420 but
00:53:34.240 of
00:53:34.360 course
00:53:34.520 he
00:53:34.640 can't
00:53:34.840 just
00:53:34.960 leave
00:53:35.160 it
00:53:35.260 there
00:53:35.480 now
00:53:36.140 comes

00:54:16.420 are currently
00:54:17.060 subject to

00:54:17.840 and I
00:54:18.480 have little
00:54:18.740 doubt
00:54:18.960 that
00:54:19.120 California
00:54:19.480 will face
00:54:19.860 its own

00:54:21.220 is where
00:54:21.480 we are
00:54:21.780 now
00:54:22.020 it's not
00:54:22.700 enough

00:54:42.220 I mean

00:55:08.040 are guilty
00:55:09.000 of medical

00:55:10.900 not the

00:55:11.880 a similar
00:55:12.760 admonition
00:55:13.220 applies to

00:55:14.600 again
00:55:15.180 here's
00:55:15.600 moschella
00:55:16.360 given
00:55:17.200 current

00:55:18.960 loving
00:55:19.840 and responsible
00:55:20.480 parents
00:55:20.940 may be
00:55:21.420 convinced
00:55:21.940 that such

00:55:24.680 thus
00:55:25.500 it is

00:55:35.420 and french
00:55:36.940 agrees
00:55:37.260 with
00:55:37.400 moschella
00:55:37.780 saying
00:55:38.100 quote
00:55:38.380 yet
00:55:39.460 as
00:55:39.760 serious
00:55:40.140 as
00:55:40.400 the

00:55:41.660 are
00:55:42.000 outside

00:55:43.100 it is
00:55:43.460 difficult

00:55:45.440 more raw

00:55:50.080 between
00:55:50.340 parent
00:55:50.680 and child
00:55:51.160 it is
00:55:51.520 a power

00:55:54.740 it's not
00:55:55.560 a power

00:56:30.140 so we
00:56:31.500 must
00:56:31.680 congratulate
00:56:32.300 Mr.
00:56:33.140 French
00:56:33.480 I mean
00:56:33.940 he noticed
00:56:34.560 how the
00:56:34.920 left
00:56:35.140 has
00:56:35.440 staked
00:56:35.920 out
00:56:36.280 an
00:56:37.140 incoherent
00:56:37.820 and morally
00:56:38.400 insane
00:56:38.960 position
00:56:39.400 on this
00:56:39.700 topic
00:56:40.000 and he
00:56:40.300 endeavored
00:56:40.620 to one
00:56:41.140 up
00:56:41.320 them
00:56:41.620 by adopting
00:56:42.560 a position
00:56:43.020 even more
00:56:43.720 incoherent
00:56:44.380 and morally
00:56:44.880 insane
00:56:45.280 and he
00:56:46.040 succeeded
00:56:46.380 in his
00:56:46.900 goal
00:56:47.100 against
00:56:47.420 all odds
00:56:47.800 he
00:56:47.920 succeeded
00:56:48.220 it's
00:56:49.420 bad
00:56:49.660 enough
00:56:49.880 to argue
00:56:50.360 that some
00:56:50.960 little
00:56:51.200 girls
00:56:51.580 are actually
00:56:52.060 boys
00:56:52.440 inside
00:56:52.840 and need
00:56:53.260 to be
00:56:53.500 surgically
00:56:53.940 and medically
00:56:54.360 altered
00:56:54.760 to turn
00:56:55.220 them into
00:56:55.540 their true
00:56:55.920 selves
00:56:56.320 it's even
00:56:57.580 worse
00:56:57.840 to acknowledge
00:56:58.500 that all
00:57:00.140 and yet
00:57:01.440 defend
00:57:01.960 a parent's
00:57:02.560 right to
00:57:02.940 mutilate
00:57:03.340 their
00:57:03.600 children
00:57:03.940 anyway
00:57:04.480 so
00:57:05.340 French
00:57:06.160 as he
00:57:06.520 says
00:57:06.780 knows
00:57:07.420 that
00:57:07.720 boys
00:57:08.060 aren't
00:57:08.400 girls
00:57:08.860 and yet
00:57:10.180 is now
00:57:10.480 willing to
00:57:10.980 call it
00:57:11.540 is not
00:57:12.020 willing to
00:57:12.840 call it
00:57:13.100 child abuse
00:57:13.620 when a
00:57:14.640 parent has
00:57:15.040 a boy
00:57:15.300 physically
00:57:15.820 and permanently
00:57:16.420 damaged
00:57:17.060 in order
00:57:17.340 to make
00:57:17.820 him into
00:57:18.280 what he
00:57:18.660 isn't
00:57:19.080 and can
00:57:19.380 never
00:57:19.580 be
00:57:19.900 you know
00:57:22.060 a mom
00:57:22.720 who throws
00:57:23.380 her son
00:57:23.840 out the
00:57:24.160 window
00:57:24.480 because she
00:57:25.020 thinks
00:57:25.300 that he's
00:57:25.620 really a
00:57:25.980 bird
00:57:26.320 is dangerous
00:57:27.900 and psychotic
00:57:28.760 obviously
00:57:29.240 but the
00:57:31.020 sane man
00:57:31.740 who sits
00:57:32.220 by and
00:57:32.700 watches it
00:57:33.260 happen
00:57:33.620 and even
00:57:34.560 defends the
00:57:35.240 mother's
00:57:35.580 right to
00:57:35.960 do it
00:57:36.400 is something
00:57:37.880 even worse
00:57:38.420 I would say
00:57:38.880 so contrary
00:57:40.620 to what
00:57:40.860 French claims
00:57:41.500 leave loving
00:57:42.800 families alone
00:57:43.660 is neither a
00:57:45.460 constitutional nor
00:57:46.580 moral command
00:57:47.340 it is rather
00:57:47.900 the platitude
00:57:48.680 of the
00:57:49.460 intellectually
00:57:50.000 lazy
00:57:50.500 I would say
00:57:53.020 that a
00:57:54.420 parent who
00:57:54.900 permanently
00:57:55.320 disfigures
00:57:56.080 their children
00:57:56.580 and sets
00:57:57.220 them up
00:57:57.580 for a
00:57:57.820 lifetime
00:57:58.100 of
00:57:58.380 confusion
00:57:58.840 despair
00:57:59.260 and regret
00:57:59.760 are not
00:58:00.640 by any
00:58:01.160 definition
00:58:01.760 of the
00:58:02.240 term
00:58:02.460 loving
00:58:02.800 because
00:58:03.460 to love
00:58:04.060 is to
00:58:04.420 will the
00:58:04.840 good of
00:58:05.120 the other
00:58:05.520 and castrating
00:58:06.640 and sterilizing
00:58:07.400 your children
00:58:07.940 is not
00:58:08.800 willing their
00:58:09.500 good
00:58:09.860 but rather
00:58:10.580 willing their
00:58:11.120 misery
00:58:11.500 and their
00:58:11.880 eventual
00:58:12.200 suicide
00:58:12.840 and it's
00:58:13.760 not just
00:58:14.120 my subjective
00:58:14.840 opinion
00:58:15.280 that it
00:58:15.640 isn't good
00:58:16.120 to do this
00:58:16.880 to a child
00:58:17.360 it's a
00:58:18.000 moral fact
00:58:19.040 it is so
00:58:20.600 fundamental
00:58:21.280 so basic
00:58:22.160 so self-evident
00:58:23.120 that to deny
00:58:24.160 it is to
00:58:24.700 invalidate
00:58:25.460 any and
00:58:26.060 all
00:58:26.400 moral
00:58:26.800 statements
00:58:27.320 because if
00:58:28.560 we cannot
00:58:29.060 say that
00:58:29.720 it is
00:58:30.000 plainly
00:58:30.600 evil
00:58:31.040 to castrate
00:58:32.420 and mutilate
00:58:32.960 children
00:58:33.400 then we
00:58:34.240 cannot say
00:58:34.800 that anything
00:58:35.360 is evil
00:58:35.980 I cannot
00:58:36.800 think of
00:58:37.300 a definition
00:58:37.980 of evil
00:58:38.600 that would
00:58:39.280 not include
00:58:40.120 to start
00:58:40.800 with
00:58:41.100 this form
00:58:42.280 of abuse
00:58:42.740 and besides
00:58:44.760 even if
00:58:45.460 this abuse
00:58:45.880 does align
00:58:46.540 with a
00:58:46.840 parent's
00:58:47.220 perverted
00:58:47.620 idea
00:58:48.080 of love
00:58:48.820 so what
00:58:50.200 not everything
00:58:52.100 done in the
00:58:52.540 name of love
00:58:53.040 is okay
00:58:53.660 or moral
00:58:54.360 nor should
00:58:54.800 it all
00:58:55.000 be permissible
00:58:55.600 under the
00:58:56.120 law
00:58:56.340 just because
00:58:57.100 someone said
00:58:57.680 it was
00:58:57.920 loving
00:58:58.240 obviously
00:58:59.300 here
00:59:01.400 David
00:59:02.160 I will
00:59:02.840 I'll tell
00:59:04.200 you a
00:59:04.680 singular
00:59:05.080 moral command
00:59:06.060 here's one
00:59:06.560 protect
00:59:08.020 the innocent
00:59:08.740 children
00:59:10.400 are innocent
00:59:11.180 and they
00:59:12.980 cannot
00:59:14.460 consent
00:59:15.000 to being
00:59:15.380 brutalized
00:59:16.060 in this way
00:59:16.640 they cannot
00:59:17.940 consent
00:59:18.360 to it
00:59:18.700 it is
00:59:19.100 happening
00:59:19.440 to them
00:59:20.040 it is
00:59:20.300 happening
00:59:20.540 to their
00:59:21.040 bodies
00:59:21.440 their lives
00:59:22.240 they cannot
00:59:23.320 consent
00:59:23.840 who gives
00:59:25.760 a damn
00:59:26.100 if the
00:59:26.320 parent
00:59:26.540 consents
00:59:26.940 to it
00:59:27.240 what does
00:59:27.640 that matter
00:59:28.180 the fact
00:59:29.740 that their
00:59:29.980 parent
00:59:30.320 consents
00:59:31.000 to it
00:59:31.380 is irrelevant
00:59:32.160 and will
00:59:33.720 do the
00:59:34.040 child no
00:59:34.680 good as
00:59:35.040 he grows
00:59:35.360 older
00:59:35.680 when a
00:59:37.140 young girl
00:59:37.560 enters
00:59:37.880 adulthood
00:59:38.300 without her
00:59:38.880 breasts
00:59:39.260 without her
00:59:39.980 voice
00:59:40.360 without her
00:59:40.820 ability
00:59:41.080 to have
00:59:41.360 children
00:59:41.760 all of
00:59:42.380 that
00:59:42.520 permanently
00:59:43.080 deprived
00:59:43.560 of her
00:59:43.860 taken
00:59:44.200 away
00:59:44.560 stolen
00:59:45.120 what
00:59:46.480 difference
00:59:46.780 does
00:59:47.060 the
00:59:47.260 parent's
00:59:47.860 previous
00:59:48.280 consent
00:59:48.900 make
00:59:49.320 who
00:59:50.920 cares
00:59:51.220 is she
00:59:51.480 supposed
00:59:51.720 to take
00:59:52.020 solace
00:59:52.540 in that
00:59:52.840 while she's
00:59:53.260 forced
00:59:53.500 to live
00:59:53.880 every day
00:59:54.260 for the rest
00:59:54.700 of her
00:59:54.900 life
00:59:55.180 with the
00:59:55.780 tattered
00:59:56.120 remains
00:59:56.600 of her
00:59:56.940 womanhood
00:59:57.400 is she
00:59:59.460 going to
00:59:59.660 live the
00:59:59.920 next
01:00:00.160 six
01:00:01.620 decades
01:00:02.160 of her
01:00:02.420 life
01:00:02.640 saying
01:00:02.840 well
01:00:03.040 at least
01:00:03.240 my
01:00:03.440 parents
01:00:03.700 consented
01:00:04.200 to it
01:00:04.440 when I
01:00:04.640 was
01:00:04.760 14
01:00:05.240 if
01:00:07.520 you're
01:00:07.680 so
01:00:07.900 focused
01:00:08.360 on
01:00:08.640 rights
01:00:09.100 why
01:00:10.360 not
01:00:10.560 focus
01:00:10.900 on the
01:00:11.260 right
01:00:11.600 of a
01:00:11.960 child
01:00:12.480 to be
01:00:13.000 free
01:00:13.400 from
01:00:13.680 grave
01:00:14.180 bodily
01:00:14.640 harm
01:00:15.100 does
01:00:16.180 a child
01:00:16.540 have
01:00:16.760 that right
01:00:17.200 David
01:00:17.520 does a
01:00:18.500 child
01:00:18.740 not
01:00:19.060 have
01:00:19.300 that
01:00:19.620 God
01:00:20.120 given
01:00:20.540 right
01:00:20.940 what
01:00:22.900 about
01:00:23.040 a
01:00:23.160 child's
01:00:23.540 right
01:00:23.700 to
01:00:23.840 their
01:00:23.980 own
01:00:24.160 body
01:00:24.540 their
01:00:24.740 own
01:00:24.900 identity
01:00:25.340 their
01:00:25.580 own
01:00:25.720 future
01:00:26.220 let me
01:00:29.180 ask you
01:00:29.380 this
01:00:29.600 do
01:00:30.440 parents
01:00:30.980 have
01:00:31.260 the
01:00:31.380 right
01:00:31.580 to
01:00:31.760 mutilate
01:00:32.140 their
01:00:32.400 children
01:00:32.760 or
01:00:34.140 do
01:00:34.320 children
01:00:34.800 have
01:00:35.140 the
01:00:35.280 right
01:00:35.460 to
01:00:35.660 not
01:00:36.080 be
01:00:36.380 mutilated
01:00:36.900 that
01:00:39.020 is
01:00:39.180 the
01:00:39.320 central
01:00:39.600 question
01:00:40.020 that
01:00:40.280 is
01:00:40.420 the
01:00:40.500 question
01:00:40.800 right
01:00:41.020 there
01:00:41.360 and
01:00:42.740 one
01:00:42.960 with
01:00:43.120 an
01:00:43.280 obvious
01:00:43.600 answer
01:00:43.980 if you
01:00:44.160 ask
01:00:44.360 me
01:00:44.560 it's
01:00:46.040 the
01:00:46.320 most
01:00:46.560 obvious
01:00:47.160 and the
01:00:47.600 easiest
01:00:47.940 answer
01:00:48.400 imaginable
01:00:49.100 yet
01:00:50.740 it's
01:00:50.880 an
01:00:50.980 answer
01:00:51.180 that
01:00:51.320 you
01:00:51.440 still
01:00:51.680 fail
01:00:51.960 to
01:00:52.100 get
01:00:52.220 right
01:00:52.460 which
01:00:53.920 is
01:00:54.060 amazing
01:00:54.560 and
01:00:56.560 even
01:00:56.740 worse
01:00:57.040 you
01:00:57.180 know
01:00:57.400 better
01:00:57.700 and
01:00:58.540 you
01:00:58.640 admit
01:00:58.960 that
01:00:59.180 you
01:00:59.300 know
01:00:59.420 better
01:00:59.700 and
