00:00:00.120 Today on the Matt Walsh Show, the media have gone to insane lengths in their smear campaign
00:00:04.500 against conservatives in the wake of the Colorado shooting. This includes the most egregious case
00:00:08.460 of defamation I've ever seen, and I happen to be the target of it. Also, the left have gone all in
00:00:13.960 with their defenses of child drag shows and drag queen story hours, but why are they so desperate
00:00:18.200 to keep exposing children to this kind of debauchery? I think I know why, and I'll explain.
00:00:22.820 And woke white journalists are virtue signaling in Qatar, and it isn't going exactly well for them.
00:00:27.700 And plus, a quantum physicist tries to prove that, quote, the universe is queer.
00:00:32.820 All of that and more today on the Matt Walsh Show.
00:00:43.720 Roe versus Wade has been overturned, and this battle is now finally leaving D.C. and going to the grassroots.
00:00:49.320 And no group in America is better positioned than 40 Days for Life in this moment in history.
00:00:54.360 With about one million volunteers in a thousand cities, 40 Days for Life holds peaceful vigils
00:00:58.580 outside abortion facilities. They have a larger presence in blue states, with California being
00:01:02.860 the largest state. Some former abortion facility directors say these vigils can cause the abortion
00:01:07.700 no-show rate to go as high as 75%, which is detrimental, of course, to their abortion business.
00:01:12.460 These law-abiding vigils have closed many abortion businesses in America, and nearly half of those
00:01:16.960 closed abortion facilities were in liberal cities where abortion will remain legal, including closures in San
00:01:22.180 Francisco, Chicago, and Seattle. 40 Days for Life is effectively changing hearts and minds in the
00:01:27.300 grassroots to end abortion. You can check out their locations, podcasts, and free magazine at
00:01:32.520 40daysforlife.com. And remember, this fight is far from over. We still have so much more to do. So if you
00:01:38.340 want more information and to join the fight on 40 Days for Life, go to 40daysforlife.com.
00:01:42.520 Well, if you thought that the media's exploitation of the gay club shooting in Colorado Springs had
00:01:48.060 reached its most depraved lengths yesterday when we first discussed it on this show, then you haven't
00:01:52.360 been paying very close attention. Because whenever you think they have sunk as low as they can sink,
00:01:58.020 there's always a still deeper depth to reach, and they will reach it. By God, they will reach it.
00:02:03.380 We still have been given no official information about the shooter's motives, but that hasn't slowed
00:02:07.700 them down at all. On the contrary, the lack of information only frees the media up to disseminate
00:02:12.360 even more wild and unhinged propaganda. The media is in a race against the clock always when something
00:02:18.260 like this happens, because they need to get all the talking points they can out into circulation
00:02:22.460 before the relevant facts are actually known. That way, whenever they are known, if they ever are,
00:02:28.300 it won't matter, because the lie has already, as the saying goes, traveled halfway around the world.
00:02:33.300 So, as we talked about yesterday, the ambulance chasing vultures immediately identified
00:02:37.840 a number of villains in the shooting, people to blame for the shooting. The shooter himself
00:02:43.080 barely even makes the list of people to blame. Certainly, they won't blame the court system that
00:02:47.040 allowed this man to roam free after he was arrested for serious felonies last year, including three
00:02:52.440 counts of first-degree kidnapping. Instead, they've singled out primarily Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump,
00:02:57.840 because, of course, Libs of TikTok, and then me. I have been blamed by name in many major media
00:03:03.740 outlets, but it was the Daily Kos yesterday afternoon that won the defamation competition.
00:03:09.640 They published this headline. This is what they published.
00:03:13.240 Matt Walsh only upset, quote, more people weren't killed at Club Q. Twitter takes highlight GOP hypocrisy.
00:03:20.540 Notice the quotes. They put the phrase, more people weren't killed, in quotes, in a clear and
00:03:28.060 deliberate attempt to give the impression that I had said that myself. Of course, I said no such
00:03:34.000 thing and never would, because unlike the staff at the Daily Kos, I am not a psychopath. But if you
00:03:39.800 read the article, it says, it begins, quote, it wasn't enough that five people died and 25 were injured
00:03:44.980 when an LGBTQ club was the target of a mass shooting on Saturday night in Colorado Springs, Colorado,
00:03:49.680 right-wing commentator Matt Walsh kept spreading hate about a community already suffering largely
00:03:54.200 because of a concentrated effort from Republicans to translate misguided fear about the trans community
00:03:59.460 into political power. Quote, leftists are using a mass shooting to try and blackmail us into
00:04:04.260 accepting the castration and sexualization of children, Walsh tweeted. These people are just
00:04:08.260 beyond evil. I have never felt more motivated to oppose everything they stand for with every fiber of
00:04:12.560 my being, despicable scumbags. Now, yeah, I did tweet that, okay, and the Daily Kos is certainly not
00:04:18.720 doing anything to disprove my thesis that these people are despicable scum. But it's not until
00:04:23.660 later in the article, buried four paragraphs down, that they reveal the source of the once more people
00:04:29.440 killed quote. It wasn't from me, but from a trans activist and all around loathsome dirtbag named
00:04:35.200 Alejandro Caraballo. But of course, most people don't read the article, especially when it's published
00:04:40.500 by the Daily Kos, and how can you blame them? All they will see is the headline, which is intended to
00:04:45.720 give the impression that I said what the trans activist actually said. Interesting to note here
00:04:51.700 that the writer of this article is a woman named Lauren Sue, S-U-E. Her last name may well be a
00:04:58.780 glance into her own future. Our team at the Daily Wire has already sent an email to the Daily Kos demanding
00:05:03.900 a retraction and apology. By the way, just deleting it is not going to be enough. Retract it and apologize
00:05:10.180 to me personally. We've also referred it to our general counsel. You know, I understand that the
00:05:15.880 left is used to playing the game by a different set of rules, but there are limits and they have
00:05:22.160 crossed a line here. Not just crossed it. I mean, they are several miles over the line at this point.
00:05:27.920 And we're not going to tolerate that. There will be a penalty. We'll have more to say about that
00:05:33.660 in the coming days. But there's something else notable happening here. Aside from the egregious
00:05:40.520 smear campaign against me personally, the left has also identified this as an opportunity
00:05:44.940 to launch a full-fledged campaign to defend and normalize child drag shows and drag queen story
00:05:52.500 hours. Now, there's no indication still that the shooting had anything to do with any of that.
00:05:56.960 And even if it did, I mean, even if, it's an if, the shooter was in part upset about drag queen,
00:06:04.820 drag queens grooming children, that obviously wouldn't mean that it's actually good for drag
00:06:09.780 queens to groom children. Be that as it may, the mainstream news channels yesterday filled their
00:06:15.300 airwaves with over-the-top superlatives for men who enjoy cross-dressing in front of children.
00:06:20.340 For example, here was journalist, in quotes, we need quotes for that for sure,
00:06:23.700 Brandi Zadrovsny on NBC. Here's what she said.
00:06:28.220 We've also seen, and there was a lot of conversation about this, the Denver Post covered it,
00:06:33.480 about drag shows being targeted. What is going on with that?
00:06:37.700 Yeah, because they targeted drag shows a lot. And in part because Drag Time Story Hour,
00:06:43.520 where a drag queen would come, it was ubiquitous in libraries all over the country, had a drag queen
00:06:47.960 come read a story. It was fun. The kids loved it. And then also some sort of friendly,
00:06:53.560 friendly drag shows. It would be on a Sunday brunch. You could bring the kids. They'd see a
00:06:57.460 show. And the far-right conservatives left on this, and they put it together with, frankly,
00:07:02.500 the QAnon narrative that's been out. And it was, they're out to get your children.
00:07:07.660 The demonization, dehumanization, and moral panic around children in our community somehow being
00:07:13.060 threatened by LGBTQ teachers, librarians, performers, that is the thread that's going through.
00:07:19.440 And when you demonize someone to that extent, and you make them feel like an existential threat
00:07:23.840 to you and your children, it's no wonder, again, that we get this kind of violence.
00:07:29.180 Drag queen Story Hour was ubiquitous, she claims. She wants to make Drag Queen Story Hour seem like
00:07:34.120 a tried and true American tradition, something you could trace back to the founders, and which
00:07:38.580 far-right extremists suddenly decided to have a problem with because of QAnon. They're actually
00:07:43.020 QAnon conspiracy theorists. This has been the tactic. NBC's Ben Collins took a similar line.
00:07:48.340 And here's what he said. How significant are those two dates? Yeah, and also hours before
00:07:55.920 what they called an all-ages drag brunch, which is probably the number one target of these
00:08:02.060 anti-LGBTQ events recently. Like, for example, the Proud Boys will go and protest any drag brunch,
00:08:10.460 any drag story hour, anything that a child might go to meet a drag queen, you know, just to show them
00:08:18.320 that they're human beings and people. They go there and they read Dr. Seuss there. They read
00:08:22.840 regular books, but it's read by a drag queen, and they have breakfast. It is not some hypersexual
00:08:29.700 event, but that's what it's viewed as on the far right. And these spaces have become dangerous
00:08:36.720 places of real-life information warfare. There's Proud Boys showing up on one side. Sometimes people
00:08:42.100 like local Antifa members show up on the other side as a way to... It becomes a place where kids
00:08:47.920 aren't safe, not because of the event itself, but because of this culture war that's been propped up
00:08:53.120 on top of it. And that's not something that should happen. This is not something, you know,
00:08:59.500 these people should be able to live their lives without fear of being murdered, literally. But right now,
00:09:06.000 that's the sort of climate that's been created by anti-LGBTQ protesters and, frankly, bigots.
00:09:14.460 Frankly, bigots. The kids go to the drag show or drag story hour to meet drag queens, he says.
00:09:22.520 Doesn't see anything creepy about that. Of course, he fails to mention that the kids don't go there,
00:09:27.640 okay? They don't, like, get in the car and drive there themselves. They are taken there.
00:09:32.740 No child is asking to spend an afternoon meeting drag queens.
00:09:37.500 Mommy, Daddy, can we go see a drag queen today? Kids aren't doing that. If the child's being raised
00:09:41.860 properly, he doesn't even know what a drag queen is. My kids have never asked me that because,
00:09:48.380 number one, I'm raising my children to be normal children. And number two, they have no idea what
00:09:54.100 a drag queen is. They've never been exposed to it because they're kids. These concepts are introduced
00:10:00.880 by adults, and the adults take the child to, quote, meet the drag queen. And why do they meet them?
00:10:07.160 Well, Ben says to make them, the drag queens, feel like human beings.
00:10:13.760 At least he has the order right. The drag shows, the drag story hours, they exist,
00:10:18.760 even according to its defenders, for the sake of the drag queens themselves.
00:10:22.960 The cross-dressing men want to do this in front of children, and so children are offered up for
00:10:29.540 the purpose of satiating this strange desire. Somehow, the way to make them feel human, to make
00:10:35.420 them feel alive, to make them feel like people, is to let them cross-dress in front of kids. Not just
00:10:41.620 to let them cross-dress, but to let them cross-dress in front of kids. These drag queens, according to
00:10:48.440 Ben, they don't feel human unless they're allowed to wear women's clothing in front of kids.
00:10:56.460 Now, Ben is lying, of course, when he says that they just read Dr. Seuss. Obviously,
00:11:00.300 the books they read are almost always LGBT propaganda, because that's the point of the
00:11:04.380 event. The combination of children and drag queens, this is something that has a clear and recent
00:11:10.120 history. It doesn't go back into ancient history. It's recent. In fact, Chris Ruffeau, another culprit
00:11:15.180 in the mass shooting, according to the media, had a report a few weeks ago about the ideological
00:11:19.200 origins of Drag Queen Story Hour. As he notes, quote, enterprising queer theorists use the
00:11:24.680 commercialization of drag and the goodwill associated with the gay and lesbian rights movement as a
00:11:29.340 means of transforming drag performances into family-friendly events that could transmit a
00:11:34.420 simplified version of queer theory to children. The key figure in this transition was a gender
00:11:39.300 queer college professor and drag queen named Harris Kornstein, stage name Little Miss Hot Mess,
00:11:45.680 who hosted some of the original readings in public libraries and sits on the board
00:11:48.860 of the Drag Queen Story Hour non-profit organization founded by Michelle T in 2015 to promote children's
00:11:55.700 drag performances. Kornstein also co-wrote the manifesto for the movement called Drag Pedagogy,
00:12:01.600 the Playful Practice of Queer Imagination in Early Childhood.
00:12:05.060 They proposed, the writers do, drag pedagogy as a new teaching method designed to
00:12:10.740 stimulate the, quote, queer imagination, teaching kids, quote, how to live queerly.
00:12:16.760 Though Drag Queen Story Hour events are often billed as family-friendly, Kornstein and Keenan,
00:12:20.980 the writers, explain that this is a form of code. Quote, here, DQSH, Drag Queen Story Hour,
00:12:27.000 is family-friendly in the sense of family as an old-school queer code to identify and connect with
00:12:32.640 other queers on the street. That is, the goal is not to reinforce the biological family,
00:12:39.020 but to facilitate the child's transition into the ideological family. Okay, so the drag queens who
00:12:43.780 came up with this stuff said that this is family-friendly in the sense of queer code when they say
00:12:49.940 family in the sense of meeting other queers on the street. That's according to them. That's the kind of
00:12:56.060 family-friendly environment, the environment where you meet other queers on the street.
00:13:04.280 That's the environment that they're putting kids in. That's the sort of family they're trying to
00:13:08.760 connect kids to. So we see that Drag Queen Story Hour and family-friendly drag shows, quote, unquote,
00:13:15.120 have two purposes. One, from the drag queen's perspective, is to satisfy their fetish for cross-dressing
00:13:21.340 in front of children. The other, on a more macro level, is to indoctrinate children into queer
00:13:26.820 theory. To put it simply, the point of Drag Queen Story Hour and the supposed family-friendly drag
00:13:34.220 shows is to turn your children queer. That is the goal. And whenever you say that, what I just said
00:13:40.420 right there is going to be clipped by Media Matters. Hello, everybody, on Twitter. The people who invented
00:13:45.880 it stated explicitly that that is the point, to help children live queerly. That's their quote.
00:13:53.660 And the thing about the left is that what they believe and what they do, all of it is so horrifying,
00:14:00.380 so perverse, so degraded, that if you just quote them, then you somehow sound like the crazy one.
00:14:08.180 If you quote what they are saying, it sounds crazy just to say it out loud because it's so horrifying.
00:14:13.640 Yet it's true. And this is the reason the left cares so much about this, and they defend it so
00:14:20.440 vigorously. Because according to the left, think about this. According to the left, the drag queen
00:14:25.640 child combination has become dangerous. They say it's a lightning rod for violent backlash, right?
00:14:32.460 That's what they say. And it's greatly exaggerated, of course. Mostly it's invented out of whole cloth,
00:14:36.680 actually. But even by their version of events, if it's causing this much chaos and violence,
00:14:44.480 why do you insist on continuing to do it? If according to you, it's like putting people's
00:14:49.220 lives at risk, if the effort to have men cross-dressed in front of children is putting
00:14:54.640 people's lives at risk, why are you still doing it? Is it that important to you? Now, as always,
00:15:00.320 they try to flip the burden around on us. They demand that we explain why we object to children
00:15:06.140 being exposed to drag queens, and we can explain it, and we have, and we will continue to because
00:15:10.200 it's very easy to explain. Drag is inherently sexual and ideological. It is burlesque, and it's
00:15:16.880 not appropriate to bring your child to a burlesque show, you disgusting freaks.
00:15:22.020 But why should we be the only ones explaining? Instead of asking why we oppose it so much,
00:15:30.100 we should ask why they support it so much, that according to them, they will keep doing it at
00:15:35.020 the risk of life and limb. Why is it so important to you to cross-dress in front of children?
00:15:42.040 Why is it so important? Why do you need to do it? Why? Is it worth the cost that you claim you're
00:15:48.440 paying for it? Why do you have to do this? Why can't you just not do it? How is that? Would that
00:15:55.620 be a fight? If it is really causing all this chaos, again, that's your version. I don't
00:15:59.120 agree with that. You're exaggerating. But according to you, that's what you're saying.
00:16:05.880 Why? Nearly all children lived and grew up in this country for almost two centuries without ever
00:16:13.140 being involved in or exposed to a drag show, and they were not any worse off for it. This is not
00:16:18.320 filling some sort of need that children had. So why do you act like it's some sort of desperate
00:16:25.100 need now? Why can't you just not do it? Is it that hard to not cross-dress in front of kids?
00:16:33.640 Is the compulsion that overwhelming? Well, we know the answer, even if you won't say it.
00:16:41.980 This is part of your childhood indoctrination campaign. It's an important part.
00:16:45.500 And you must indoctrinate them young, you realize, because the older they get, the more they will
00:16:52.380 see you for what you are and your agenda for what it is. And that's what this is really about.
00:17:00.900 Now let's get to our five headlines.
00:17:02.220 Living a healthy lifestyle is not especially easy, especially when you're on the road as much as I
00:17:13.340 am. I need easy, manageable routines, which is why I am a huge fan of Balance of Nature. Balance of Nature

00:17:37.460 try, and we all love them. When you're disciplined enough to take care of your health, you reap all
00:17:41.780 kinds of benefits, more energy, less fatigue, better focus. Consuming the right balances of fruits and

00:17:56.940 Promo code Walsh for 35% off your first preferred order.
00:18:02.020 You know, one positive I have noticed amid this propaganda campaign from the left
00:18:06.100 in the wake of the tragedy in Colorado is that, you know, they're getting more and more desperate
00:18:17.760 because they realize that their tactics actually aren't working. So the left, they rely on. We know
00:18:23.740 that they can't defend or explain their positions. You know, we know that. And as we said, when it
00:18:28.700 comes to drag queen story hour and like, why do you need to combine kids and drag queens? Why is that
00:18:32.960 so important to you? Why can't you just stop? They won't say out loud. They can't answer the question.
00:18:39.160 There's no answer they can give to that. That wouldn't sound completely disgusting. And so instead,
00:18:44.420 they just try to deflect and make us, put us on the defense. But, you know, so because they can't
00:18:54.280 defend it, what they rely on is censorship, obviously, and also self-censorship. So two
00:19:00.620 kinds of censorship. There's the, you know, the censorship on their part, the active kind of
00:19:05.620 censorship where they're stopping us from communicating our points of view, shutting us down.
00:19:11.440 Then there's also self-censorship where they berate us so much and lie and defame us so much
00:19:18.040 and threaten so much that we just stop, we ourselves stop saying whatever it is they don't
00:19:23.920 want us to say. And for a long time, both of these, they had a lot of success in both areas.
00:19:29.360 But in recent weeks, months, you know, in recent times in both areas, they're starting to lose.
00:19:38.120 When it comes to censorship, well, they've lost Twitter.
00:19:42.880 It would seem anyway that they've lost Twitter. It certainly is not the censorship mechanism. We
00:19:48.080 already know it's not the censorship mechanism that it used to be. Now, there's a lot that remains to
00:19:52.220 be seen, but Elon Musk has already invited not just Donald Trump, but a whole bunch of people on
00:19:57.560 the right back to the platform. So they don't have that tool anymore to the extent that they used to.
00:20:02.000 And even self-censorship, you know, they're starting to realize that they can go around,
00:20:06.680 they can blame us for mass shootings. They can call us this and that. And it just doesn't,
00:20:11.380 it just rolls off our back. Nothing you people say means anything to us. It doesn't mean anything
00:20:18.660 because we know you're full of garbage and everything you say is a lie. And so it just doesn't
00:20:26.060 matter. You can say whatever you want. Well, you can't say whatever you want. If you get into
00:20:30.760 defamation, then we're going to sue your asses. But beyond that, if you want to, you know,
00:20:35.480 whatever, whatever insinuations, insults, whatever labels you want to put, just doesn't have any
00:20:39.920 effect. And they're noticing that because in the past, you know, the way this would have gone is
00:20:45.780 that there is a terrible mass shooting. They erroneously blame us and say that our anti-groomer
00:20:52.980 stance has caused this. And then they shot it from the rooftops. And then a lot of people on the right
00:20:57.060 say, well, we better not talk about this anymore. Even though what they're saying is totally bogus,
00:21:00.760 they're mad at us and let's stop talking about it. But that's not the reaction on the right
00:21:05.980 anymore. That's not how the new right operates. The new right says, yeah, you can say whatever
00:21:12.320 you want. You can go on CNN every single day and scream about it. It doesn't matter.
00:21:16.740 You have no control over us. You have no power. And that makes them desperate and afraid and frantic.
00:21:25.520 And when it comes to this, they are just, they don't know what to do because they're saying to
00:21:33.020 themselves, wait a second, we're using a mass shooting against you. We're using a mass shooting
00:21:36.660 against you. We're using a mass shooting as a political pawn. And that's not enough to make you
00:21:42.280 fall silent. In the past, that would always work. These days, it doesn't.
00:21:53.560 And they're desperate. Speaking of desperate, on The View yesterday, I just want to play this for you.
00:21:57.360 It's not exactly a lead headline, but we were talking about all this yesterday. And
00:22:01.600 Jesus, it's one thing to defame libs of TikTok or me or Chris Ruffell or Donald Trump or one of the
00:22:12.780 usual suspects. That's one thing. Of course, infinitely more outrageous and offensive is
00:22:20.040 when they try to drag Jesus Christ into this, which is what they did on The View. Listen to this.
00:22:25.920 They were in a place that accepts them for who they were. And someone came to that place.
00:22:30.000 This is so sad. I don't know that they hide behind religion because I said this on this show once
00:22:34.500 before. Jesus would be the grand marshal at the pride parade. I don't mean about gay people. I
00:22:39.120 mean in every argument we have. But here's your weaponized religion. Here's my question, but it's
00:22:43.800 wrong. If you're so afraid, why are you going over there? Yeah. If they scare you so much, leave them
00:22:52.440 alone. When stuff scares me, I leave it alone. If I don't want to be bothered, I don't go there. See,
00:22:59.120 that's the problem. You don't want to just have your feelings. You want everybody else to join you.
00:23:04.060 And you know what? You can, you can scream, you can cuss, you can do all the things that you say,
00:23:10.240 but you know what? Gay people are here. They're not going anywhere. There is nothing you can do.
00:23:17.700 You know, you can yell and scream. But you know, as as the Lord, as everybody was talking about,
00:23:25.380 you know, made in God's image. Yep. Made in God's image. There are no but except for there's none of
00:23:34.100 that. No. Keep that in mind when you're trying to figure out where you stand as a human being,
00:23:39.640 let alone a Christian. We'll be right back.
00:23:42.080 I mean, it's just amazing. She says, you can't just have your feelings. You need everyone else
00:23:47.860 to join you. What? That's, that's the left to a T. That's the perfect way of describing the left,
00:23:56.260 especially the LGBT left and gender ideology. You can't just have your feelings. You need everyone
00:24:01.220 to join you. You can't just feel like the opposite gender. You need everyone else to join you and
00:24:07.040 affirming you in that. But what I really appreciate is that the one chick at the beginning
00:24:11.680 starts by saying, and I honestly don't know any of their names except for Whoopi Goldberg and Joy.
00:24:17.080 So I know those two. I don't know the other, however many it is. The chick at the beginning
00:24:22.640 says that they're weaponizing religion. They use religion. And then for the rest of the segment,
00:24:27.740 all the other women on the panel do what she just accused conservatives of doing. They start using
00:24:33.920 religion to weaponize it against their opponents. So they're like contradicting exactly what she just
00:24:38.740 said. And what we hear from one of them is that Jesus would have been the grand marshal at the pride
00:24:45.860 parade, would have been the grand marshal. Well, that's wrong on many levels, but let's talk about two of
00:24:54.080 them. One is really basic here is that Jesus would not be the grand marshal of any parade that has pride
00:25:02.600 in the title. Because pride is identified in scripture repeatedly and by Jesus himself repeatedly
00:25:11.240 as a sin. Okay? Pride is a sin. Now, it's one thing, the English language sometimes falls short when it
00:25:19.980 comes to translating biblical texts. And so we have to kind of figure out what is meant by pride because
00:25:25.840 you can have, you could say that, I could say I'm proud of my children. I'm proud of my family.
00:25:30.520 You could even have pride in accomplishments. You know, if you accomplish something, you can say,
00:25:36.200 I'm proud of doing that. I'm proud of the work that I did. Nothing wrong with any of that because
00:25:40.660 you're taking pride in something else, right? You're taking pride in achievement, something that
00:25:44.860 was done. You're taking pride in someone else, a family member. You know, that's just, which is
00:25:50.380 another way of saying love. It's just, you love them. The kind of pride that we're warned about in
00:25:57.380 scripture is this kind of haughty, vain, self-centered, egotistical, I am the center of the universe kind
00:26:07.320 of pride, which is exactly the sort of pride that the pride parade is designed to communicate and
00:26:16.480 convey and celebrate. It's all about me. Hey, that's what the whole pride parade is, right? It's just,
00:26:22.200 everyone, look at me, look at me. That's all it is. So it doesn't even matter the context. Whatever
00:26:29.440 the context, if you're engaging in that kind of pride, Jesus is not going to celebrate it with you.
00:26:34.920 He's going to have some stern words for you about turning from your sin. But then there is also the
00:26:40.820 context to keep in mind here. And, you know, because you brought it up, right? They brought it up.
00:26:46.100 They brought up the Bible. They brought up Christianity. You brought it up. And so we must
00:26:53.100 inform you that what you're saying about Christian teaching and about scripture is just incorrect.
00:26:57.980 The Bible does, in fact, in both the Old and New Testament, in very explicit terms,
00:27:04.340 lay out the homosexual act as a sin. You know, in fact, any sexual act that happens outside of the
00:27:15.800 bonds of marriage is a sin, according to Christian sexual morality, biblical sexual morality. And
00:27:23.140 also, according to the Bible, marriage is between a man and a woman. That's what it says. Now, you can,
00:27:30.200 now, if you're on The View or someone aligned with them, you can say, well, I don't care what the Bible
00:27:34.260 says. All right, but you're the one who brought it up. Like, you just brought it up. So they try to do
00:27:40.720 both. This is their game. And in that clip, you heard both. On one hand, no one cares what the
00:27:45.780 Bible says. Don't use your religion. And then on the other hand, and by the way, I'll tell you what
00:27:50.080 your religion says about this. And the game is that if you correct them on what your religion says,
00:27:57.660 then they can revert back to the first talking point and says, why are you talking about religion?
00:28:01.700 You brought it up. So they can make whatever claim they want about your religion. And if you
00:28:07.980 correct them and say, well, actually, you're wrong. It's not what our religion teaches. As a member of my
00:28:12.120 own religion, can I tell you? I mean, you're a bunch of atheist, secular, godless humanists. Can I tell
00:28:18.780 you as a member of that religion? No, no, I'll speak for you, they say. It's totally absurd.
00:28:25.560 All right. This is from euronews.com. I don't think I've ever read a headline from them. It says,
00:28:31.380 an American journalist has claimed that he was detained on Monday after trying to enter the World
00:28:36.680 Cup Stadium in Qatar, where same-sex relationships are outlawed, while wearing a rainbow shirt in
00:28:42.040 support of the LGBT community. So this is Grant Wall is his name. And he put a picture up there
00:28:48.540 very proudly. He's got the rainbow flag. And he says, just now, security guard refusing to let me
00:28:53.400 into the stadium for USA Wales. You have to change your shirt. It's not allowed, he says. He says that he
00:28:59.640 was taken away and that he was detained for nearly a half hour. But then he says that they later
00:29:08.700 apologized to him and let him into the country. So that's what he says happened. And we're seeing
00:29:15.960 stunts like this. And usually the stunt is quickly abandoned. There have been various, including the
00:29:20.580 USA team. Originally, they were talking about rainbow flags changing uniform, and they didn't really end up
00:29:25.940 doing that. But they did have, I think, in their practice facility, they had the rainbow flags all over
00:29:29.600 the place. So we're getting this from these, from some of these Western people that are showing up
00:29:35.980 there. But you just see, it's interesting how quickly the respect all culture stuff goes out the window,
00:29:46.320 isn't it? I mean, say what you want, but this is Qatar. It's their country. It's a non-Western,
00:29:55.640 non-white country. And now you've got white people, white Westerners like Grant Wall showing up and
00:30:03.360 saying, I don't respect your customs. I don't respect your beliefs. I'm going to do what I want
00:30:08.480 in your country. I'm going to tell you how you should run your country. Your laws don't mean anything
00:30:13.720 to me because I'm the white Western guy. And I'll tell you, I will show up and be the arbiter of
00:30:23.080 morality, the source of morality. It is a form of this kind of moral colonialism
00:30:31.740 that you see from the West, this ideological colonialism that you see almost uniquely these
00:30:41.440 days from the left. And yet in any other context, these same people would claim that they're all
00:30:47.280 about multiculturalism. Well, you don't care about multiculturalism if you're not accepting a person's
00:30:53.100 culture, including the parts of it you don't like. So if you're saying, I'm a multiculturalist,
00:30:57.820 I enjoy multiculturalism. I enjoy all cultures and I respect all cultures, except for the parts
00:31:03.000 of those cultures I don't personally prefer and that don't line up with my values. Well,
00:31:06.760 if that's the case, then you don't believe in multiculturalism and you don't respect other
00:31:09.400 cultures. It's kind of like saying, I respect all free speech except for the speech that I don't like.
00:31:14.020 Well, then you don't respect free speech. So it all goes out the window immediately.
00:31:19.700 And also, I do have to say, and there have been some, you know, Qatari citizens who have
00:31:26.460 spoken out about this. Here's one, for example, says, as a Qatari, I'm proud of what happened. I
00:31:32.180 don't know when will the Westerners realize that their values aren't universal. There are other
00:31:36.100 cultures with different values that should be equally respected. Let's not forget that the West
00:31:39.700 is not the spokesperson for humanity. Now, we talked about this a little bit yesterday and
00:31:43.580 you had the president of FIFA that was saying, well, the West has a lot to apologize for,
00:31:48.660 but he meant historically. He was taking about, taking it back 3,000 years. And so he was doing
00:31:53.760 the whole white guilt routine, going back 3,000 years and all of our, and all of our dastardly
00:31:58.520 sins. That is absurd. But if we're talking about modern day, if we're talking about the West in
00:32:05.960 modern times, the West right now, I would agree that we just are not in a position to morally lecture
00:32:15.480 anyone, I'm afraid to say. We in the West are not in a position so we can put ourselves on a pedestal
00:32:23.440 and say, oh, look at those Qataris and their disgusting laws. They have no respect for human
00:32:29.460 decency. We're just not in a position to assume the moral high ground. We don't have the moral high
00:32:34.380 ground. We surrendered it in this country. We did. It's very sad to say, but it's true.
00:32:42.160 Like we talked about yesterday, we live in a country in modern times where we execute,
00:32:52.120 we've executed 60 million babies in the womb. 60 million. And if you believe that those are human
00:32:59.100 beings, then you believe that in our country, we, and I say we in the general sense, are responsible
00:33:04.780 for arguably the worst mass slaughter of the innocent that's ever happened on the planet.
00:33:12.940 And then to make matters worse, we also castrate, sterilize our kids. We don't even have a sense of,
00:33:17.880 you know, what a man or woman is anymore. We're just utterly, completely confused.
00:33:23.880 We celebrate evil and debauchery in its most deranged forms. That's what we do in this country.
00:33:28.660 And then we think that we're in a position to go and ideologically colonize the globe and tell them
00:33:35.820 they need to be more like us. Well, the problem is that the other countries, when we say that,
00:33:40.600 when we give that pitch and we say, you should be more like us, well, the members of the other
00:33:44.120 country, they look at us like freaks. They look at us like a bunch of confused weirdos. They look at
00:33:50.040 us and say, well, I don't want to be like you. Why would I want to be like you? You mean over in your
00:33:54.700 country where you think that men can get pregnant? I mean, over in your country where you're sterilizing
00:33:59.580 little boys to turn them into girls? You are surgically and medically altering little boys
00:34:04.720 to make them girls and you think we want to be like you? It's just, it's not a convincing sales pitch.
00:34:12.940 I noticed this when I was over, when we were in Kenya and it was, it was very sad to see
00:34:17.660 that the people in Kenya, they look at America now with, really it's like a, it's almost like a
00:34:25.160 paternalistic pity. Like a kind of there, there, you sad, confused children sort of thing.
00:34:34.080 When they hear about what's happening here. And can you blame them? You saw in the film,
00:34:38.380 I asked one of them, you know, would you ever want to move to America? And they laughed.
00:34:41.920 They laughed at the idea that they would ever want to move here.
00:34:48.840 That's what we have made of ourselves on the world stage. Remember when Donald Trump was president,
00:34:54.300 we heard so much hand wringing and fretting from the left about how we won't be respected on the
00:34:58.380 world stage. Well, the countries, they don't care about who the president is, whether it's Donald
00:35:03.300 Trump or someone else. It's about the culture. Okay. They're not, they're not looking at our politics.
00:35:08.800 They're looking at our culture. And these non-Western countries are seeing our culture
00:35:12.860 and seeing a culture that has, that is just caving in on itself, that is eating itself.
00:35:20.920 And they're saying, I just, I'm not interested in your moral lectures. Can you blame them? I can't.
00:35:26.360 I just can't. All right. Let's see what else do we got here. Kamala Harris was in the
00:35:33.720 Philippines and, you know, it's been a little serious, a little dark. Let's, let's, let's lighten
00:35:40.120 the mood a little bit because Kamala Harris has some inspirational words to offer the, the folks in
00:35:46.860 the Philippines and also all across the world. Let's listen.
00:35:50.320 The way that I think about it is, you know, like relay racing, you know, you race and someone passes
00:35:54.780 the baton and then, right? So that's what life is. It's basically a relay race. And so the people
00:36:02.740 who are heroes, whichever gender they are, they ran their part of the race and then they passed
00:36:11.380 us a baton. And the question is, what will we do with the time we carry the baton?
00:36:18.020 Which means there's no time to get tired. Come on. Right? You're going to pass that baton at some
00:36:26.960 point, but right now you're carrying it. And the question is, what are you doing with it?
00:36:34.320 Hmm. Inspirational stuff from Kamala Harris. As always, she's got that confident look on her face.
00:36:40.500 She believes she's nailing it. She's got something really profound to say. These faux
00:36:44.880 profundities to offer about, uh, passing the, it's the, it's the, the relay race of life.
00:36:53.520 You know, she thought about, she, you know, she'd been working on that for a long time. She felt
00:36:56.600 really proud of that. And in, in, you know, to her credit, it is basically coherence. I'll give her
00:37:03.940 that. But even that it's like, this is the position they're on in the Democrat party. And on the left,
00:37:10.800 this is the position they're in. Or even some, even just some like cliche platitude like that,
00:37:16.600 the relay race of life, carry the baton. They can't even say that stuff anymore because that's
00:37:22.240 not what they actually do. Right? They're not taking the baton from past generations, from our
00:37:27.200 ancestors and just running forward. No, they, they take the baton and then they, they stand there on
00:37:33.820 the track and look at it and say, this is disgusting. I don't want to, what are we doing here? This is,
00:37:37.600 I don't want to take a baton from you. You bigots, get away from me. They won't even take
00:37:42.820 the baton. They, they're standing on the track, like getting into an argument with the guy who's
00:37:46.940 trying to pass the baton to them. Here, go, keep going. We've, we've, this is the country we've
00:37:50.580 built for you so far. There's still a lot of work to do, but just keep going.
00:37:56.820 No, I know better than you. So they actually will not take the baton from past generations.
00:38:03.200 They're too busy, you know, tearing down the statues. They, they, the guy tries to
00:38:09.740 hand the baton. They, they kneecap him, leave him there on the track. That's what the left does.
00:38:15.440 All right. I've had this for a couple of days. I wanted to mention it. This is from Washington
00:38:18.340 Post. It says, federal agents and prosecutors have come to believe former president Donald
00:38:22.540 Trump's motive for allegedly taking and keeping classified documents was largely his ego and a
00:38:27.960 desire to hold onto the materials as trophies or mementos, according to people familiar with the
00:38:32.220 matter. As part of the organization, federal authorities reviewed the classified documents
00:38:35.880 that were recovered from Trump's Mar-a-Lago home and his private club, looking to see if the types
00:38:39.940 of information contained in them pointed to any kind of pattern or similarity, according to the
00:38:43.060 people who spoke on a condition of anonymity to discuss the ongoing investigation. The review has
00:38:47.740 not found any apparent business advantages to the types of classified information in Trump's
00:38:51.080 possession, these people said. And then it continues with more details, but this is just any,
00:38:57.160 any person with a brain and who is able to assess stories involving Donald Trump honestly. And this
00:39:03.460 is a, that's a, that's a small minority of people who are capable to do that, capable of doing that.
00:39:07.960 But anyone in that category, such as myself, already knew this. Like the idea that Donald Trump took
00:39:15.440 classified documents to, to what, sell them to the Russians or to engage in espionage, that this was
00:39:20.960 some sort of high level crime that he had cooked up? Obviously not. That was always obviously the
00:39:29.360 case. It's, it's Donald Trump. Why did he keep the documents? Well, because he felt like keeping
00:39:33.100 them. He just want, he just wanted to have them. He didn't really think it mattered if he kept them
00:39:36.740 or not. That's it. That's, that's why he took them. That's why he had them. That's all there is to
00:39:44.700 it. But it shows that, that, you know, for, for the media, this is a revelation. This is months after
00:39:51.180 the fact they're saying, well, maybe, maybe he wasn't trying to sell it to Putin. Maybe it's just
00:39:56.400 like, he just thought it was a memento he could keep, which is, which is, which is, I mean, love him
00:40:01.480 or hate him, right? It's like, that's a very Donald Trump thing. He says, I want to keep these documents.
00:40:06.640 I just like to have them. That was always going to be the case, but it, but it shows how Trump's
00:40:13.520 enemies, they still, even now, all these years later, after he's already been in the White House,
00:40:19.780 they still don't understand him, which, which is an advantage that he continues to have over them,
00:40:25.200 that they, they, they do not understand him. They don't understand what makes him tick. They
00:40:28.480 don't understand why he does the things that he does because they have totally bought into this
00:40:34.540 cartoon villain narrative where, where Trump is just that he's a comic book villain and everything
00:40:41.740 he does. It's with the most nefarious and possible intentions. So whatever Trump is doing, just
00:40:48.080 imagine the most evil reason why a person might do that. And it must be that reason because he's
00:40:54.040 literally Hitler, they think. When most of the time, it's just sort of innocuous. And this stuff with the,
00:41:00.660 with the classified documents, like many of us were saying from the beginning, it's just innocuous.
00:41:04.080 It's nothing. They were just, they were just boxes of paperwork. He didn't do anything with them.
00:41:09.000 All right, before we get to the comment section, I feel as though, I just have to play this for you
00:41:16.440 because I feel as though it's only fair if we talk about this and acknowledge it because I can be
00:41:21.080 critical of adult men, speaking of comic books, who take comic book movies and video games too
00:41:27.180 seriously. They get too invested in them. But sports can have the same infantilizing effect
00:41:35.460 if you don't moderate yourself. So this is kind of a cautionary tale. And I'm a sports fan.
00:41:41.240 And so, and this is something that I hear anytime that I complain about adults who play too many
00:41:45.380 video games or are too obsessed with superheroes. What I hear in response is, well, what about you
00:41:48.960 as a sports fan? How is that any more mature? And it's actually a good point because if you get too
00:41:55.180 invested in it, if you take it too seriously as an adult, then it becomes quite absurd. So again,
00:42:01.180 a cautionary tale. Here's an exchange that happened yesterday on a Fox sports show called
00:42:05.340 Undisputed. This is a show hosted by Shannon Sharp, former NFL player, and this sports gas bag called
00:42:13.480 Skip Bayless. And here they are arguing about what grade they would give the quarterback Baker Mayfield
00:42:19.500 for his performance on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. That's the argument. So there's
00:42:23.800 Baker Mayfield. How did he play? What grade would you give him arbitrarily after the fact? And
00:42:29.220 this is what the argument sounded like. Says he's dead last in QBR. 17.8.
00:42:35.440 We're talking about yesterday. How'd he look yesterday? He gets an F? No, let me, I got the
00:42:40.120 floor. Because all you do is bring up those 11 games. All you do is go back and talk about when
00:42:44.580 he was a rookie and won seven games. I'm going to talk about what I want to talk about because I got
00:42:48.400 the floor. Baker Mayfield is dead last in 2022 at QBR. Blah, blah, blah. He's dead last. I don't care.
00:42:53.880 Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. He's 57.8. He's 30, 30 completion percentage. Blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:42:59.060 You going to let me talk? Because that's what you do. If you'll stay on point on question.
00:43:02.940 You'll never stay on point. Okay. I'm about to stay on point. You're not going to get on point
00:43:07.020 until I'm done talking. Okay. All right. That's right. Spew all your hate. I'm going to spew it all.
00:43:11.100 Your Baker hate. Spew it. 17.8. Because all you're talking about, you're uncertain about Justin Herbert,
00:43:16.800 but you get on the floor for this clown. He's a bum. He's trash. And you know it. And every time
00:43:22.760 you bring him up, I'm going to let the world know exactly what he is. Oh, you have four Twitter
00:43:27.180 followers. Don't worry about it. Hold on. Okay. You talk about Twitter. And we come out here and
00:43:30.780 discuss topics that you tweeted. So don't give me about that Twitter stuff. You can talk about my
00:43:35.360 followers all you want. But I got to get it right. And you see how you do America? He's talking about
00:43:39.820 my Twitter followers. That's what I know I got it. And I'm going to continue to go. He's 186.
00:43:45.020 Tell me when it's my turn. It's not your turn. Okay. He's still football focused.
00:43:49.700 Blah, blah, blah. 37%. Blah, blah, blah. Okay. Go ahead. Blah, blah, blah.
00:43:55.920 That's sports. That is sports media for you. That's what you're missing. If you don't watch
00:44:00.620 any sports media, these are grown adults. Shannon Sharp is in his 50s. Skip Bayless is in his 70s now.
00:44:08.460 He's in his 70s. You say that he's a bad quarterback. I think he's good.
00:44:13.940 I say he's a good quarterback. Not bad. No, he is bad. I think he's good. That's the whole argument.
00:44:24.140 Grown adults. And look, I say with sports, the same thing I say with any other record. If you
00:44:31.300 want to play video games, there's nothing in principle wrong with that. But if you find yourself
00:44:38.100 taking it really seriously, okay, if you play a video game and if you like video games, but then
00:44:45.040 if someone else thinks that video games are stupid and that makes you like, that fills you with rage
00:44:50.940 that someone would criticize or not enjoy your favorite recreation, that's an indication that
00:44:58.080 you take this way too seriously because you're not an adult. You're not an intellectual mental adult.
00:45:04.140 You're still a child. You're reacting the way a child does when you take their popsicle away.
00:45:09.980 And it's the same thing with sports. Nothing wrong with watching sports, getting into it and all of
00:45:15.100 that. But like, when you see these, there's alcohol involved, obviously. Well, there might be alcohol
00:45:20.940 involved here too, but there's alcohol involved in the stands. But you see these fans that start like,
00:45:25.620 they commit felony assault against each other. You see someone with the other team's color jersey.
00:45:31.160 You want to kill him and you end up in prison for it? Like, it's that kind of thing.
00:45:37.280 You're not a mental adult. You're still a mental child.
00:45:41.980 So any kind of recreation, because we're a very unserious country with unserious people,
00:45:46.240 any kind of recreation can become a barrier to maturity if you become too invested in it.
00:45:52.060 And you don't supplement this recreation with actual adult interests. Like, you know,
00:45:59.260 things like just reading books and that sort of thing.
00:46:03.920 All right. So there's the caution. Let's get to the comment section.
00:46:08.100 Do you know their name? They're the sweet baby gang.
00:46:13.260 Ivana says, well, I knew this day would come. Sadly, I don't agree with Matt on something. Soccer
00:46:21.220 is a normal, great sport like any other. Now, what idiot people have made it into is a different
00:46:26.580 topic, has nothing to do with communism. I don't know where he got this concept from, but okay,
00:46:30.860 it was funny. Well, I got it from science. I don't know what to tell you. It's just,
00:46:33.860 it is a matter, it's been scientifically proven that everyone who likes soccer is a communist.
00:46:40.080 And I don't know what else to tell you. It's just, that's, that's where I got it from. I got it from
00:46:44.160 science. And by the way, congratulations to the USA for their victory. I think they won.
00:46:50.280 Didn't they yesterday? Oh, they tied. Congratulations to the USA for their great tie in the World Cup.
00:46:57.440 I don't know what that means. Do they continue playing to the next round or do they get thrown
00:47:02.800 into the sea? I don't know what it is. Hopefully the latter, but because as I already said,
00:47:08.140 they're not invited back to the country with the whole rainbow flag stunt. Okay. Excuse me,
00:47:12.940 but says if Matt wasn't such a ghoul, he'd have the decency to feel responsible for his verbal
00:47:18.420 treatment of LGBTQ people. I'm just going to take that as a joke because I assume that's what you
00:47:24.440 meant. Probably not. But if I, if I, I should have the decency to, to adopt your viewpoint of my own
00:47:34.980 words. If Matt had the decency, he would, he would, he would see his own opinions the way that
00:47:40.240 I see them. It's indecent. It's indecent. I say to disagree with me. Good stuff. James Dean says,
00:47:47.760 oh, that magical N word. When I say N word, isn't it like I'm saying the actual N word?
00:47:53.420 Yeah, this was a bit from, I think it was a Bill Barr bit, uh, Bill, not Bill Barr, Bill Burr rather,
00:47:58.320 I should say. Bill Barr may have had some, may have had some good comedy books, but I think it was
00:48:02.160 Bill Burr pulling this out. It's like, that's one of the absurdities of just the, this idea is like,
00:48:06.620 well, you got to say the N word. You can't say the actual word. You're still saying it's because
00:48:10.900 you're conveying it. You're communicating it to somebody else. If you're talking to someone who,
00:48:15.120 who knows what the word is, then you are communicating the word. You're putting the
00:48:19.880 word in their mind. You're communicating it. You're referring to it. They know what you mean.
00:48:24.060 They say, oh, it's that word. And so you've still communicated it. The only difference is that
00:48:28.620 you haven't uttered the syllables themselves. What is the significance of the syllables? What
00:48:33.640 does it matter? What syllable? They're just sounds. So if you avoid those particular,
00:48:38.420 you could say the first syllable, right? But you can't, you can't go beyond that.
00:48:43.860 And yet you could still convey the word. It just doesn't, it doesn't make any sense.
00:48:48.520 Um, let's see. Jim R says, Matt, I have to admit I'm uncomfortable with you suddenly becoming an
00:48:58.100 advocate for mail-in voting and early voting. We have to hold the line on reforming these systems,
00:49:02.880 not allow ourselves to get sucked into it. Um, no, I'm not an advocate for mail-in voting or early
00:49:08.500 voting. I, I hate both systems. Uh, as you know, if you listen to the show, I'm actually in favor of
00:49:13.240 limiting the vote to same day in person and even limiting the people who can vote
00:49:18.860 in person. Like I want to limit, I'm a, I am an unabashed restrictionist when it comes to voting.
00:49:24.220 I think less people should be voting and everyone who does vote with few exceptions should be voting
00:49:28.640 in person on the same day. So that's, that's my opinion, but I'm also a realist. I'm in favor of
00:49:36.780 dealing with and in reality. And, and the reality is that early voting and mail-in voting exist.
00:49:43.940 They are happening and Democrats are using them to win elections. That's the reality. So we can
00:49:48.920 either exploit the system for our own ends, or we can cross our arms and stamp our feet and say,
00:49:54.120 I don't want any part of it. And then never win another election again. So those are your options.
00:49:58.900 Those are the only options you can, you can learn to exploit the system or you can never win another
00:50:02.860 election. Only two options. That's it. That's all that exists in reality. Now in an ideal world,
00:50:07.360 other options would exist, but we don't live in that world. And so, especially when it comes to
00:50:11.500 elections and politics, it's very important that you operate in reality. You can win elections all
00:50:17.440 day long in your fantasy world. That's great. I'm all, I am president for life in my fantasy world.
00:50:24.200 I am the theocratic fascist dictator of the entire world for life in my, but we're not in that fantasy
00:50:29.600 world. So we're in reality. Are you going to operate within it or not? Are you going to win
00:50:34.260 the elections or not? I kind of think of it like this. And by the way, if you want, if you want to,
00:50:41.020 if you want to fix the system and you want to put some of these policies in place that we're talking
00:50:45.180 about, you have, you have to, you have to have power first to do it. You can't do that from the
00:50:49.720 outside. You can't change the law from the outside. You have to be in the, you have to be running the
00:50:55.280 system. In fact, in order to do that, which means in order to, in order to do that, you have to,
00:50:59.900 you have to know how to exploit the system. You have to be able to exploit the very system that
00:51:02.440 you want to change. The left has been very good about this. They've been very good at this for
00:51:07.800 decades. That's how they've gotten to the position that they're in and the culture. They learned how
00:51:10.800 to exploit the systems that they then turned around and changed. I think of it like, you know,
00:51:17.020 back a few years ago, the NFL, speaking of sports, they changed the rules on kickoffs and they moved
00:51:22.180 the kickoff line up so that the yard line, so that they're, they're kicking from further up on the
00:51:27.560 field, which means, which, which, you know, eliminates kick returns for the other team.
00:51:32.320 Cause it always goes, it goes out back through the end zone, ends up with a touchback and the
00:51:36.360 other team isn't able to return the football. And they did this so that they could, you know,
00:51:40.400 eliminate or negate injuries on, on kickoff returns. Now I didn't like the rule change. I think
00:51:48.240 the kickoff was the kickoff returns, important part of the sport. I don't like that they took it out of the
00:51:51.700 sport, but if I'm an NFL coach and it's my turn to kick off, I'm not going to say, well, I don't
00:51:58.380 like this rule where we can move up farther to make sure the other team can't return. So I'm going
00:52:03.160 to, I'm going to, I'm going to stick with, with the old kickoff line. I'm going to, I'm going to
00:52:05.960 kick the ball from further back and give the other team a chance to return it just out of principle.
00:52:11.700 Like you you've changed. I'm in a position as the kickoff team where you've changed the rules
00:52:15.800 that would benefit me, but I'm not going to take advantage of those rules. And I'm going to put my team
00:52:20.880 in a position to lose on principle. That doesn't make any sense. And that's to me, it seems like
00:52:28.680 what you're advocating that we just lose on principle, which of course is what conservatives
00:52:35.060 have been very good at doing for decades, but I'm for a change of pace. The new daily wire plus store
00:52:41.920 is live and it's your one-stop shop for everything worth giving because the fact is nobody wants a copy

00:53:16.860 dailywire.com slash shop today. Now let's get to our daily cancellation.
00:53:24.660 Today we cancel a woman named Jessica Esquival, PhD. She describes herself as not just a normal
00:53:30.920 physicist, but an Afro Latinx physicist, which means that her physics are far more inclusive and
00:53:36.180 equitable than regular physics. This is the pitch she makes for herself in her bio on her website,
00:53:41.040 where she describes her professional mission this way. She says, as one of the few Afro Latinx women
00:53:45.580 to graduate from St. Mary's university with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering
00:53:49.060 and applied physics, and the second to graduate from a, with a PhD in physics from Syracuse university,
00:53:54.740 Dr. Esquival understands traversing spaces as the only, and has a very personal recognition of the
00:54:01.520 importance of equity, diversity, and inclusion. She traverses spaces as the only. I could not possibly
00:54:10.420 come up with a better way to summarize leftist thought. Each individual thinks of themselves
00:54:15.040 as indeed the only. The only what? Well, just the only. And then, of course, the other hallmark of
00:54:21.040 leftist thought, especially when it comes to academics, is that these thoughts are communicated
00:54:24.700 in the wordiest, clunkiest, least eloquent, most awkward way possible. Hence the phrase,
00:54:31.340 traversing spaces. Dr. Esquival, PhD, doesn't simply walk across a room. She traverses a space.
00:54:40.420 So if you're sitting across the table from her at a dinner table, she won't ask you to pass the salt.
00:54:44.580 She'll beseech you to convey the sodium chloride from its current position to an approximate location
00:54:50.100 nearer to where she is physically located in space. And you must heed her request immediately,
00:54:55.340 given that she is, after all, the only. The one and only. Anyway, the one and only Dr. Esquival,
00:55:01.560 PhD, makes it into the cancellation today because of her recent TED Talk focused on what she calls
00:55:06.420 the queer universe. Dr. Esquival, PhD, has apparently noticed that her far-left comrades are having a
00:55:12.600 very difficult time using biological science to formulate a coherent defense of queer theory and
00:55:17.820 gender ideology. So she proposes that they abandon that pursuit and instead seek validation and
00:55:23.360 vindication in the field of quantum physics. If gender ideology appears to make no sense from a
00:55:28.800 biological perspective, maybe she can make sense of it from a physics perspective. And if she can't
00:55:34.300 make sense of it, at least she hopes she can confuse people enough to fool them into believing that she
00:55:38.780 made sense of it. That seems to be the goal of this talk titled, The Queer Universe, A Quantum
00:55:43.440 Explanation. So let's watch as much of it as we can bear.
00:55:48.300 Queer. Differing in some way from what is usual or normal. As a society, we tend to think in
00:55:58.640 absolutes. Black or white, gay or straight, male or female. But what if I were to tell you that the
00:56:07.680 universe is non-binary? That from cosmological scales to subatomic scales, that the universe is
00:56:16.740 actually super queer. So it isn't such a crazy leap to assume that everything inside our universe is also
00:56:24.820 queer. Does that make you uncomfortable? Or are you cautiously optimistic that the universe may offer
00:56:34.120 some comfort? My name is Dr. Jessica Esquivel. I'm a black, Mexican, queer, neurodivergent woman.
00:56:44.200 I'm also a particle physicist. And today, leveraging my expertise on the intricacies of
00:56:51.200 the quantum realm, we are going to create a reimagining of our universe.
00:56:57.700 Now I have to say that if nothing else, I appreciate the visuals here. A blue-haired,
00:57:02.140 woke physicist blabbering about the queer universe to an empty stadium while a small group of people
00:57:07.340 walk around behind her, completely ignoring her. She did say she's the only, after all. In this case,
00:57:12.080 she's the only one who attended her own lecture. Notice also how she is ostensibly preparing to give
00:57:18.060 a talk about science. And yet, while listing her credentials, her status as a physicist is listed
00:57:24.120 last after woman, black, Mexican, queer, and neurodivergent. But if she has any legitimate
00:57:33.080 scientific insights to offer, why does it matter which alleged marginalized victim group she belongs to?
00:57:39.440 What relevance does that have? It's hard to imagine a legitimate physicist beginning a speech
00:57:44.540 by announcing his sexual orientation. Like, I wasn't around to hear it myself, but I'm going to guess
00:57:51.380 that Albert Einstein never opened a lecture by saying, my name is Albert Einstein. I'm a white,
00:57:56.500 cisgender, heterosexual, neurodivergent, German-born theoretical physicist.
00:58:00.740 That's because Einstein had brilliant ideas, and he was interested in letting his ideas stand or fall
00:58:08.800 on their own merits. Dr. Eskeval, PhD, on the other hand, needs to prop up her ideas on the crutch of
00:58:15.980 victimhood. Let's keep listening.
00:58:18.800 Everything around us, everything from the galaxies filled with stars to the extraordinary depths of
00:58:28.720 our oceans, filled with creatures beyond our wildest dreams, are made up of a fundamental set of
00:58:35.580 particles. These teensy tiny particles live and interact in a world unlike our own. In our macro world,
00:58:46.520 we tend to think binary categorizations and absolutes are the norm. But if we tunnel down into
00:58:54.820 the smallest spaces of our universe, we enter a world where queerness and chaos reigns supreme.
00:59:05.880 On the contrary, Dr. Eskeval, PhD, you don't need to go down to the bottom of the ocean or look under
00:59:10.840 a microscope to see a world where queerness and chaos reigns supreme. That's actually a good
00:59:14.960 description of our culture. Queerness and chaos reigns supreme. And yet, if she's right that queerness
00:59:20.100 reigns supreme at the most basic level of reality, if indeed the universe is queer, as she says,
00:59:26.020 doesn't that mean that queerness doesn't exist? If queer means abnormal, and yet the abnormal is
00:59:33.640 normal, then there is no abnormal. If the universe is queer, then nothing is queer. In order for a thing
00:59:39.800 to be abnormal, it must, as she says at the beginning, differ from what is normal, which means
00:59:44.840 that there has to be a normal for the abnormal thing to differ from. So as always, you know,
00:59:50.980 they want to have their queer cake and eat it too. She wants to proudly announce herself as queer,
00:59:56.060 taking pride in her own abnormality, and yet in the next breath insists that she is not abnormal at
01:00:00.500 all because in fact everything is queer, everything is gay, everything is non-binary. Even the atoms are
01:00:05.840 gay. Our entire universe is comprised of gay particles, she says. This is obviously totally inane,
01:00:13.840 pseudo-scientific new age babble, but it's also self-contradictory. Ever since the days of Alfred
01:00:19.700 Kinsey, the priests and priestesses of the sexual revolution have tried desperately to convince us
01:00:24.860 that their lifestyle choices and sexual quirks are actually normal, and yet at the same time they also
01:00:29.560 want to cling to their victimhood card and their identity as a supposedly oppressed minority. So they
01:00:35.200 want to be a minority and the majority at the same time. Now, I won't inflict much more of this on
01:00:42.620 you, but let's hear how she wraps all this up. All matter is a peculiar conundrum that we don't quite
01:00:50.220 understand. Even confounding still, even though all matter in the universe, including atoms, molecules,
01:01:02.840 humans, plants, planets, galaxies, oceans, all of that only consists of five percent of the visible matter
01:01:13.100 that we can see in our universe. Five percent.
01:01:15.720 So the rest of it is dark energy and dark matter, and that's another confounding topic for another
01:01:24.220 talk. But all this to say that it is an existential fact that we are anomalies in our universe. And the
01:01:36.320 most existential question at the heart of my research is not if we are queer, but why we are queer. And I wonder
01:01:46.080 if we were to let the chaos of quantum mechanics infiltrate our thinking, if we were to let go of those rigid
01:01:56.920 processes we have and become one with the queer universe, I wonder, maybe, possibly, scientific discoveries
01:02:06.840 would become easier.
01:02:10.040 You know, this woman spent like six years in college, came out with a doctorate, and all of that just so that
01:02:18.240 she could tell us to become one with the queer universe. I could not possibly think of a better
01:02:23.940 argument against student loan forgiveness than that. Now, has she achieved her aim with this lecture?
01:02:30.340 Well, if her aim was to somehow prove that non-binary and transgender identities are valid by
01:02:36.720 prattling on about queer subatomic particles, then no, she has not. The fact that particles behave
01:02:41.940 strangely and unexpectedly does not legitimize the illogical and biologically impossible self-perceptions
01:02:48.280 of human beings. Subatomic particles can do lots of things that entire human beings
01:02:53.740 cannot do. They can pass through solid objects, for instance. Dr. Eskival, PhD, is here taking a
01:03:00.880 common leftist tactic to extraordinary and extraordinarily stupid lengths, where, you know,
01:03:04.760 they often attempt to prove that a person's self-identity and their self-identity claim is
01:03:10.280 legitimate by drawing a comparison to a phenomenon that occurs outside of the human species. So just last
01:03:15.920 week, we heard from someone who attempted to prove that the sex binary among human beings is false
01:03:20.020 by pointing to the fact that some organisms, like amoebas, exist outside of the sex binary. Like
01:03:25.600 amoebas are asexual. They reproduce asexually. And that's supposed to prove something about, that's
01:03:31.500 supposed to validate, amoebas validate a claim that a man in a dress is making about himself. No, because
01:03:38.360 human beings are not amoebas. And though human beings are comprised of like zillions of subatomic
01:03:45.620 particles, a human being is not a subatomic particle individually. But there's a more important
01:03:52.620 point to be made here, I think, which is to note how small and diminished everything becomes when
01:04:00.880 it's filtered through queer theory or gender ideology or whatever you want to call it. I mean, physics is a
01:04:06.340 fascinating field. I don't understand any of it, but I do know that it can unlock and has unlocked some
01:04:12.500 of the deepest mysteries of the universe. The more you understand physics, the more you understand
01:04:16.900 the nature of the world, of the cosmos, of reality. And yet this woman, being an adherent to the LGBT
01:04:23.080 religion, isn't interested in the secrets of the universe. The only universe she cares about is the
01:04:28.100 universe of her own small, fragile ego. So rather than taking the tool of physics and directing it out
01:04:35.220 into the world, to understand and explore, she points it back at herself. To obsess over and justify
01:04:43.460 her own personal and sexual preoccupations. The result is the nonsense you just heard, but worse
01:04:50.880 than being merely nonsense, it's also boring and uninteresting and dull and irrelevant. I suspect there's
01:04:57.120 probably a fair amount of nonsense offered by theoretical physicists, but at least the nonsense is
01:05:02.800 usually fascinating and directed towards the pursuit of something greater, something noble, you know,
01:05:08.700 understanding the universe. This woman's nonsense, on the other hand, is the result of trying to jam
01:05:14.120 physics into a space under the umbrella of queer theory. She's trying to subordinate it, bring it to
01:05:21.300 heel, fit it into a hierarchy where LGBT self-interest stands at the very top. And this is what happens more
01:05:28.940 and more, as institutions and scientific fields are ideologically captured by the far left. They end up
01:05:32.780 churning out a whole bunch of bogus garbage, and worse than that, they stop pursuing truth. They stop
01:05:38.460 looking for it, because they're too busy looking in the mirror, talking to themselves. And that is why
01:05:46.560 Dr. Eskival, PhD, is today canceled. That'll do it for this portion of the show as we move over to the
01:05:53.180 members' block. Hope to see you there. If not, talk to you tomorrow. Godspeed.
01:05:58.940 Sure.
