The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 1200 - Climate Alarmists Panic Over Heat Wave. Turns Out It Was Caused By A Volcano.

00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Walsh Show, we've heard a lot about the supposedly historic heat wave this

00:00:03.600 summer, which we're told is mostly the fault of Republican voters. But the media has been

00:00:07.260 hiding the real cause of the recent warmer temperatures. I'll give you the details that

00:00:10.440 they don't want you to know today. Also, Neo backtracks after coming out against child gender

00:00:14.780 transitions and then backtracks on the backtrack. Wayne Brady comes out as pansexual just in time 0.99

00:00:20.160 for his new TV series. And a woman in San Francisco says that she was accosted randomly

00:00:23.660 on the street. Should we feel sorry for Democrat voters who get exactly what they voted for?

00:00:28.180 All of that and more today on the Matt Walsh Show.

00:00:38.440 You've probably heard by now that you should be using a VPN when you connect to the internet. But

00:00:42.340 if you're like me, adding an extra step to anything you do every day just sounds like a hassle. Well,

00:01:31.280 Walsh. Imagine you're a climate expert working for a major news network when one day out of nowhere,

00:01:37.520 Hillary Clinton announces that MAGA Republicans are causing the world to get hotter. Simply by voting

00:01:42.320 the wrong way and by cooking too many cheeseburgers, I guess, she says, these MAGA Republicans are

00:01:47.580 lighting the planet on fire. They're causing the warmest summer in the history of the world,

00:01:51.580 going back billions of years, even before we had thermometers to measure this kind of thing.

00:01:56.320 That's how dangerous these MAGA Republicans are. Well, last week we went into great detail about how

00:02:01.140 Hillary Clinton sounded like a, you know, like a Mesoamerican shaman when she made all those claims.

00:02:05.300 But if you're a climate expert in the mainstream media, you can't laugh at what she said, as we did.

00:02:10.000 You can't just move on. Instead, you have to run cover for Hillary Clinton because she's 1.00

00:02:14.820 effectively your boss. You revere her. Therefore, you have to go out on television and dutifully

00:02:19.260 assert with maximum confidence that, yes, Hillary is right. We are breaking temperature records right

00:02:24.740 now, and that's happening specifically because of man-made climate change that's intensified in

00:02:29.580 recent years. That's the party line. And indeed, like lemmings, all the big networks came out and

00:02:34.280 said exactly that, one by one. Here's ABC News, for example, giving Hillary some much-needed backup. 1.00

00:02:39.340 Watch. And heat isn't just affecting the U.S. Scientists say July is set to be the Earth's

00:02:45.000 hottest month in recorded history. Let's bring in chief meteorologist Ginger Zee and host of the 0.98

00:02:50.060 FiveThirtyEight Politics podcast, Galen Druk, for more on the heat and how it's impacting voters.

00:02:55.140 Thank you both for being here. Ginger, it's been a busy July for you. You and your team have been

00:02:59.660 reporting on this all throughout the month. What sticks out to you after looking at the heat that's

00:03:05.140 affected across the country but also around the world? Right. And that's what you have to

00:03:09.100 remember. This is global warming. It is global heat. And so there are people in the Midwest or

00:03:14.260 Northeast and we're like, well, most of the summer's been okay. Like, it really hasn't been anything

00:03:17.980 above average. Yes, we've had the desert Southwest having incredible heat. We're talking consecutive

00:03:23.120 heat. But Europe, Asia, so many pockets that add up globally to the hottest July on record.

00:03:29.900 Is this climate change on display for us right now? Are there other causes behind this?

00:03:36.020 And do we know what the domino effect is of having the heat be this high for so long in so many

00:03:41.100 places? Right. So yes, the answer is yes. There is human influence for sure. We knew this year was

00:03:46.800 going to be hot because of El Nino. But to see it turn out this way has the remarkable footprint of

00:03:53.200 human amplified climate change. And that's what the scientists were saying. Virtually impossible to see

00:03:58.780 records obliterated like this without human influence. Well, the scientists are clear,

00:04:04.860 say the climate experts. We just experienced the hottest July in the history of the planet

00:04:09.420 because we're polluting too much. Our carbon emissions are changing the weather in real time.

00:04:14.100 Notice they have the political analysts literally sitting right next to the climate expert just to

00:04:18.040 underscore the point that this whole segment is about scaring as many Democrats as possible

00:04:21.860 so that they vote in the next election. At this point, Joe Biden needs all the help he can get.

00:04:26.240 But wait a minute. Skeptical viewers might ask, aren't there other periods in world history when

00:04:32.040 temperatures have spiked long before humans and even the dreaded MAGA Republicans existed?

00:04:37.920 Could we be witnessing something caused by nature instead of Trump voters?

00:04:42.960 ABC News' expert anticipated that you might start thinking along those lines.

00:04:46.860 And here was her reply to that.

00:04:49.320 And with temperature has always gone CO2. So it follows it. Here's the difference.

00:04:54.660 That peak of temperature, which is the blue kind of around 100 and some thousand years ago,

00:05:00.100 that was with volcanic and solar interruption. That's the thing that has driven CO2 prior to

00:05:07.300 now. Right now, it's not the sun and it hasn't been volcanoes to that degree.

00:05:12.900 It has been following one line on the graphic, and that is CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions by humans.

00:05:18.980 So the expert is acknowledging that there have been periods out of world history when the climate has

00:05:23.880 gotten much warmer, obviously. But she says that was due to highly unusual events like volcanic

00:05:28.700 interruption. And we don't have that right now, the expert says, at least not to any significant

00:05:32.900 degree. So she concludes that Trump voters must be the problem. Is that true? Admittedly,

00:05:39.360 I'm not a climate scientist or an Aztec shaman or any kind of expert in the weather whatsoever.

00:05:43.660 I can walk outside my house and see what the weather is so I can do that. But that's about it.

00:05:49.560 I do, however, pay attention to the news. And I couldn't help but notice something that ABC's

00:05:53.360 crack climate team somehow forgot to mention. Just a year and a half ago, this happened in the Pacific

00:06:00.180 Ocean. Tonight, jaw-dropping images of an extraordinarily powerful and now deadly volcano erupting in the

00:06:08.980 Pacific Ocean. This video captured a day before an even larger eruption of the same underwater volcano

00:06:16.380 rocks the island nation of Tonga, triggering tsunami alerts across the globe. The scope of that eruption

00:06:22.840 best seen from space. Satellite images showing a massive cloud of smoke spewing in all directions

00:06:29.320 and as high as 12 miles in the air, the most powerful volcanic activity in at least three

00:06:34.860 decades. It's stunning power felt across five continents, the entire west coast of the United

00:06:42.760 States and Alaska under a tsunami alert for most of the weekend. In Peru, two people drowning after

00:06:49.940 abnormally high waves slammed ashore. Ports from Japan to New Zealand littered with sunken fishing boats,

00:06:56.020 the powerful waves tossing them like toys. And they pop their heads out of their boat to see

00:07:02.720 a red catamaran going over the top of my boat. So that is a force of nature there. Shock waves in

00:07:09.100 central Europe more than 10,000 miles away. The before and after images are staggering. The force

00:07:14.740 of the blast nearly wiping this uninhabited island off the map. Well, that somehow went unnoticed over at

00:07:21.760 ABC News. An underwater volcano erupted in Tonga. It was so big you could see it from

00:07:25.860 space. The entire west coast of the U.S. was put under a tsunami warning. According to NASA,

00:07:30.280 which wrote up a detailed analysis of the event last August, the eruption caused a sonic boom

00:07:34.300 that circled the globe twice. The eruption also, quote, blasted an enormous plume of water vapor

00:07:39.840 into Earth's stratosphere, enough to fill more than 58,000 Olympic-sized swimming pools, according to

00:07:45.760 NASA. That's significant because according to NASA, volcanic eruptions normally cool the planet by

00:07:51.240 emitting a lot of dust particles that reflect sunlight away from the planet. It didn't happen

00:07:56.060 this time. And as one NASA scientist put it, quote, we've never seen anything like it. So what's the

00:08:01.880 upshot? Well, water vapor traps heat. It's the single most abundant greenhouse gas that exists in

00:08:07.820 the atmosphere. It's responsible for half of the greenhouse gas effect on the planet. So here was the

00:08:13.160 prediction from NASA as of last August. So this was last summer. And this is what they wrote, quote,

00:08:19.000 the sheer amount of water vapor could be enough to temporarily affect Earth's global average

00:08:24.860 temperature. So they were predicting last summer that temperatures would rise because of the

00:08:31.980 volcano. That seems like a major detail to leave out of literally every single news report on historic

00:08:39.400 climate change this summer. It's like reporting on wildfires without mentioning that they were caused

00:08:44.700 by arsonists, something that our news media also does regularly. So think about how extraordinary

00:08:49.620 this is. A volcano just sent a massive amount of water vapor into the air, what scientists are calling

00:08:55.620 a once-in-a-lifetime event, which scientists also say has clear ramifications for the climate,

00:09:00.700 and they don't even talk about it on ABC News. Democrats in the Party of Science blame MAGA Republicans,

00:09:06.240 and nobody in the mainstream media corrects them or mentions the billions of gallons of water vapor

00:09:11.900 that were just spewed into the atmosphere by a volcano. A volcano that, by the way,

00:09:17.520 I don't think you can blame on man-made climate change. That's when they'll start talking about

00:09:22.900 this is when they can figure out a way to blame us for the volcano. Maybe the MAGA Republicans set it

00:09:28.120 off. Maybe they, I don't know, threw a bomb down into the underwater volcano somehow. I don't know.

00:09:34.940 To be clear, this is not some temporary spike in temperature that NASA was talking about.

00:09:38.440 According to NASA, quote, excess water vapor injected by the Tonga volcano could remain in

00:09:43.100 the stratosphere for several years. That, again, was NASA's projection in August of last year.

00:09:49.520 By December of 2022, it appeared that NASA's prediction had been vindicated. Research published

00:09:53.920 that month by the Meteorological Research Institute, NASA, and the University of Chicago confirmed

00:09:58.940 that the eruption last year increased the mass of water vapor in the stratosphere by 13%,

00:10:04.160 which is a huge amount. And this water vapor will remain in the stratosphere for years,

00:10:10.860 just as NASA had originally predicted. The researchers added that, quote,

00:10:14.680 the unique nature and magnitude of global stratospheric perturbation by the Tonga eruption

00:10:19.200 ranks it among the most remarkable climatic events in the modern observation era.

00:10:24.140 Seven months later, this past July, the research meteorologist Ryan Mao had this response

00:10:28.520 to the fallout from the eruption, quote,

00:10:29.780 So, based upon the last few months, it seems the effect of the eruption on global temperatures

00:10:33.680 may have been greatly underestimated. And Ryan Mao was right. Just about two weeks ago,

00:10:39.300 yet another paper came out on the eruption. This one was for researchers at Caltech's Jet Propulsion

00:10:43.740 Laboratory. This paper found that the eruption sent 40 trillion gallons, not billions, but trillion

00:10:49.440 gallons of seawater into the stratosphere. What the research has called an unprecedented water vapor

00:10:55.080 injection? Last week, Dr. Robert Rode, the lead scientist at the independent nonprofit Berkeley

00:11:00.420 Earth, reviewed these recent findings. He concluded that, quote, as a powerful greenhouse gas, this water

00:11:06.080 may have contributed to recent warming. Now, these seem like relevant developments, especially if you're

00:11:13.780 covering the MAGA heat wave that's setting the United States on fire. And yet virtually every major media

00:11:20.460 outlet is ignoring this. We had to look at international media to find some coverage.

00:11:25.980 Canada's Global News is one of the few outlets that's bothered to report on the connection between

00:11:30.180 the volcanic eruption of Tonga and the heat wave this summer. Global News reported that, quote,

00:11:34.960 Tonga volcano eruption may have role in fueling summer heat waves. And I want you to watch how they

00:11:40.200 frame this story. Watch.

00:11:42.000 Now, in 2022, Hunga Tonga mostly blasted water vapor high into the stratosphere. Like other greenhouse 0.52

00:11:50.000 gases, it trapped some of the heat in our atmosphere, causing a slight warming, an estimated few

00:11:56.080 hundredths of a degree. Hunga Tonga may have increased the Earth's surface temperature this year only 0.99

00:12:00.920 slightly, but however small, the lead researcher says every decimal point counts as the planet warms.

00:12:06.760 Those two or three hundredths of a degree that Tonga added temporarily do matter. And they do take us 0.99

00:12:14.380 that fraction closer to one and a half degrees. And that's important because of the importance of

00:12:19.740 that temperature threshold.

00:12:21.580 So you notice what's happening in that clip. It's kind of amusing, really, when you think about it.

00:12:24.860 They're trying to downplay the impact of this eruption because they want to keep beating the drum

00:12:29.440 that climate change is man-made. They're at least acknowledging that the eruption happened and

00:12:33.960 it is contributing, but they're trying to downplay it. At the same time, they can't downplay the impact

00:12:38.120 of any increase of average global temperatures because we're supposedly careening towards total

00:12:42.700 climate apocalypse. So it's a tricky tightrope they're walking. But is the report correct when

00:12:49.400 it says that the increase in temperature from the volcano will be, quote, slight? Are they right when

00:12:55.040 they say that the temperature will go up by, quote, a few hundredths of a degree? Well, Global News

00:13:00.000 doesn't show their work on that one. Meanwhile, scientists like Robert Rode aren't so sure.

00:13:04.560 Here's what he wrote on social media, quote, is the water vapor injection from the eruption only

00:13:08.560 adding a few hundredths of a degree to global temperatures? Or is it having a more complicated

00:13:11.980 effect that we don't yet understand? I don't know, but I hope people are working on this.

00:13:16.660 Well, that's an honest answer from a guy who, by the way, does not appear to be a conservative

00:13:21.300 or even a climate change skeptic. So why is the media ignoring scientists like this? Why aren't

00:13:28.220 they telling you what NASA concluded, what Caltech ultimately found to be true? We all know the

00:13:34.580 answer. The Democratic Party knows that it stands a very real chance of losing control of the White

00:13:38.620 House and the Senate in the next election. If they have to lie about MAGA Republicans changing the

00:13:42.440 weather to avert that catastrophe, then they'll do it. They will ignore the very climate science they

00:13:49.360 claim to care so much about, the data straight from NASA, if it's inconvenience. In this case,

00:13:55.160 the science is very inconvenient from a political perspective, so they pretend it doesn't exist.

00:14:00.760 You know, in a sane country, everything we've talked about here would be a major media scandal.

00:14:05.300 They've spent months fueling panic over a heat wave, linking it to our SUVs and air conditioning

00:14:10.700 units, while saying nothing at all about the volcanic eruption that we know is raising the

00:14:16.340 global temperature. Has it made the temperature historically high? Has it made it the highest in

00:14:21.660 millions of years? Almost certainly not. That's ridiculous. But that's the point. The media is

00:14:28.740 lying about the scope of the warming and also lying about the cause of the warming, to whatever extent

00:14:34.360 the warming is actually occurring. So they're just lies. It's lies all the way down. For those of us who

00:14:39.920 aren't beholden to DNC talking points or unhinged Hillary Clinton tweets, there is an important

00:14:44.420 takeaway from all this, though. And that takeaway is simple. It's been known for thousands of years.

00:14:49.480 It's this. However uncomfortable it may be, the truth is that no matter how much we run our air

00:14:56.020 conditioning units or we use plastic straws or whatever, vastly powerful forces outside of our

00:15:02.460 control will ultimately determine the weather and the fate of the planet. The left will never admit

00:15:08.980 this because doing so would require recognizing, for one thing, the existence of a greater power,

00:15:13.900 a force that, unlike leftism, is eternal. Once you acknowledge that humans aren't all powerful,

00:15:21.140 that they can't change their gender at will or control the weather on a whim,

00:15:25.220 then their entire ideology falls apart. That's what they're afraid of. It's not the fallout from

00:15:30.180 the eruption of Tonga, as embarrassing as that may be for all the theories on climate change.

00:15:35.860 They're panicked because their impotence, their inability to control nature,

00:15:39.540 is now impossible to deny. Now let's get to our five headlines.

00:15:51.020 You know, there's one thing that's really important to me. It's living

00:15:53.280 a healthy lifestyle, something of a health nut. I think you pick up that vibe from me, don't you?

00:15:58.460 And that's why I was so excited that we could partner with Balance of Nature Fruits and Veggies,

00:16:56.380 Yesterday, we told you about the R&B singer Neo, whose name I learned this week is actually spelled

00:17:01.600 N-E-Y-O. And he said in an interview a few days ago that children can't choose their gender and

00:17:08.280 they can't transition and you shouldn't castrate little kids, etc. You know, a bunch of extremely 1.00

00:17:14.320 common sense things and opinions on the subject. And opinions that we shouldn't be impressed by,

00:17:22.760 shouldn't impress us that someone is coming out and saying, oh, you know, a five-year-old boy is a

00:17:28.560 boy and can't be a girl. But it does impress us coming from a celebrity because most celebrities

00:17:33.220 are degenerate lunatics. And it turns out that Neo isn't. And that's a good thing. So the expected 0.99

00:17:39.860 backlash ensued. And then as we covered yesterday, Neo posted an apology rather quickly to the LGBT 0.68

00:17:46.400 community. Sorry, no, the LGBTQIA plus community. He spelled it all out. And he apologized for offending 1.00

00:17:52.880 them and all the rest of it. And I criticized them harshly on this show for that. And so did thousands

00:17:57.520 of other people. Then yesterday afternoon, after the show went out, Neo posted another video and this

00:18:05.940 one on his Instagram, I believe. And this video is being shared by conservatives who are back to

00:18:11.900 celebrating Neo again. And they say that in this video, Neo repudiates his publicist, who's the one

00:18:19.080 who is responsible for the apology. And he slams the publicist. I saw someone post, he blasts his

00:18:25.900 publicist. And he doubles down again on his original point about not transitioning kids.

00:18:31.740 That's what people are saying about the video. That's how it's being interpreted.

00:18:37.060 But here's what he actually said. And you tell me how you take this. Go ahead.

00:18:43.060 What's going on, loved ones? This is Neo. All right. Listen, I normally don't give too much of a

00:18:48.000 damn about what y'all think about what I do, what y'all have to say about what I say, whatever. 0.80

00:18:52.660 I normally don't care because like I said, opinions ain't special. Everybody got one. 0.99

00:18:56.800 However, this is something I feel very strongly on. And I need y'all to hear this from the horse's

00:19:00.880 mouth, not the publicist's computer. So check this out. First and foremost, I do not apologize for

00:19:06.080 having an opinion on this matter. I am a 43 year old heterosexual man raising five boys and two girls.

00:19:13.640 Okay. That's my reality. Now, if my opinion offended somebody, yeah, sure. I apologize for you being

00:19:19.360 offended because that wasn't my intention. My intention is never to offend anybody. However,

00:19:23.420 I'm entitled to feel how I feel. I'm absolutely entitled to feel how I feel the same way you are

00:19:28.520 entitled to feel how you feel. I ain't asked nobody to follow me. I ain't asked nobody to agree with me.

00:19:33.700 I was asked a question and I answered the damn question. Okay. I have no beef with the LBGTQIA 1.00

00:19:40.600 plus community whatsoever. I ain't got no beef with y'all. Do whatever the hell it is you want to do.

00:19:45.120 Do what you want to do with your kids. However, somebody asked my opinion on this matter. And

00:19:50.180 this is how I feel. I will never be okay with allowing a child to make a decision that detrimental

00:19:55.820 to their life. I will never be okay with that. I don't care. I definitely plan to educate myself

00:20:00.220 a little bit more on this matter. However, I doubt that there's any book anywhere or any opinion that

00:20:06.260 somebody is going to tell me that's going to make me okay with letting a child make a decision like

00:20:10.520 that. That's just period point blank. And that's how I feel. If I get canceled for this,

00:20:14.200 then you know what? Maybe this is a world where they don't need a Neo no more. All right. 0.95

00:20:17.740 And I got no problem with that. I'm a hustler. All right. I'll figure it out. I got kids to raise 0.81

00:20:21.520 and I'm going to do that regardless. So with that being said, y'all have a good day. I love everybody

00:20:27.340 live how you want to live, love how you want to love, but your opinion is yours. Speak your opinion

00:20:32.280 as much as you damn well feel like it. Because as I said, they're not important. They're not special.

00:20:36.580 Everybody got one and you're entitled to it. I'm entitled to mine. All right. Y'all feel how y'all want to feel.

00:20:41.680 Have a great day. It's Neo. Peace and love.

00:20:44.200 Okay. So that's the video. Again, I see this being posted all over the place by conservatives.

00:20:49.960 This is epic. Listen to this. Not exactly the epic slapdown of his publicist that we were led to

00:20:57.160 believe. In fact, it's pretty clear to me that he consented to the apology being posted. Okay. So

00:21:01.520 this is not him saying, I didn't even know the publicist was going to do that. He's fired for

00:21:05.960 posting an apology on my behalf without my consent. That's not what happened. He's justifying and trying

00:21:11.680 to explain what is in the apology. And yes, he says it was posted from his publicist's computer.

00:21:17.440 He never says that he didn't agree to it because obviously he did agree to it. You know, your

00:21:23.520 publicist, let me explain to you how these things work. Your publicist is not going to just go on his

00:21:29.080 own and post an apology without you even knowing about it. That's not going to happen.

00:21:34.820 I can tell you, you know, we have plenty of publicists, PR people that work at Daily Wire.

00:21:40.080 If they were to, this would never happen, but if they were to post an apology from me

00:21:45.740 on one of my accounts that I didn't agree to, and I never would agree to one,

00:21:50.680 then my response would not be that. Okay. I would go nuclear. Okay. You would have no idea

00:21:58.300 how much of an explosion of rage that would cause. I mean, for one thing, I'd delete the apology.

00:22:06.060 I would have much stronger words than that. And I would say to Daily Wire, you'd fire the person

00:22:10.280 who did that or I quit. You know, that's what it would be. Now, Neo is in the position where he

00:22:14.280 could just fire his publicist outright. And, but he didn't do that either. At least he didn't say

00:22:18.380 that he did. So, because again, he agreed to that apology. He might've been, they might've

00:22:23.520 pressured him. I'm sure they pressured him. I'm sure they tried to coerce him. I'm sure they tried to

00:22:27.640 convince him, look, you got to do this. You're going to lose money. You're going to lose

00:22:29.920 sponsorships if you don't do it. So I'm sure all that happened, but he agreed to it.

00:22:37.000 So what's happening here is that Neo said something about the trans issue,

00:22:42.100 panicked at the backlash from the left on what he said, and then posted an apology and then panicked

00:22:50.560 again at the backlash against the apology. So that's why he's bouncing back and forth like a pinball.

00:22:57.160 It's not, it's not really that confusing. All the while, he knows what's right and wrong on this

00:23:03.440 issue. It's very clear. He knows what's right and wrong. He knows the truth and he's trying and

00:23:08.500 fumbling in his attempt to sort of stand by it. He's obviously never experienced the wrath of the

00:23:15.420 LGBT cult. Those of us who live with it every day are used to it. He isn't. And so I always try to 1.00

00:23:21.180 keep that in mind. There are people, even people that are famous and been in public eye for a long time.

00:23:25.080 If you've never, if you, if you've never upset this particular mob, then you just don't quite

00:23:35.160 know what all goes on behind the scenes as well. This is not just about mean comments on Twitter or

00:23:43.440 whatever. That's the least of it. So all that's the case, but this is not, this is, this, this is not,

00:23:52.460 we don't congratulate him for this whole performance. This is the initial statement was

00:23:56.920 right. Everything after that is just like embarrassing and waffling. And he's trying to

00:24:01.200 triangulate and find a position that'll make everybody happy. He's trying to appease everyone.

00:24:04.560 This is not, we don't, you should be congratulating him for that. Um, and it goes to show why the only

00:24:13.500 thing that works is a strong, hard line, unwavering stance. Neo is trying to claim a kind of libertarian

00:24:19.880 position here. And this is why this story is important. Whether, you know, whatever, even if

00:24:24.320 you don't care about Neo and whatever, you know, it's, it's not like I'm sitting around paying attention

00:24:28.820 to what's going on with Neo. Um, but it's important because of what we can learn from this, which is

00:24:35.080 that this kind of libertarian position doesn't work. That's what he's trying to do, right? He's

00:24:40.400 saying, well, Hey, everyone has their opinion. I have mine. Everyone just leave everyone else alone.

00:24:45.040 Let's all be happy. Let's all get along. Do what you want with your own kids. He even says that.

00:24:52.360 Uh, and there are people have told me, well, don't criticize Neo for this. He's your ally. No,

00:24:56.740 no, he's not. That's not my, that's not even close to my position. Do what you want with your

00:25:00.540 own kids. That's the opposite of what I think about this. No, I don't think you should be able

00:25:05.660 to just do what you want with your own kids. I don't think you should be able to transition your 1.00

00:25:08.580 kids, even if you want to. And if you think that people should be allowed to do that, then no,

00:25:12.660 we're really not allies. I, we don't share. Where's our, where's our common ground exactly?

00:25:19.240 Um, but he's trying to kind of do this as a, my opinion, you have your opinion. Let's all have our

00:25:23.960 opinions. We have a, we all have a right to our opinion. I mean, look, the, first of all,

00:25:27.000 the moment you say that, the moment you find yourself saying we all have a right to our opinion.

00:25:32.040 Okay. That, that is the ultimate sign of weakness. The moment you, you find yourself saying that in

00:25:38.960 an argument, you're losing. There's no better sign than you're, that you're losing than when you say,

00:25:44.520 well, I have a right to my opinion. That's the weakest stance that, that, that is you

00:25:52.360 backtracking while trying to pretend that you're not. Um, and he's confused as to why that's not

00:26:02.200 good enough for the left. Well, it's not good enough because they want nothing less than your

00:26:05.440 unthinking, unyielding loyalty, anything less than that. And you are the enemy.

00:26:10.160 So no, you can't just have your own opinion. They're not going to accept that.

00:26:14.720 You can't go out there and say, uh, boys are boys, girls are girls, but Hey, it's just my opinion.

00:26:19.080 You can feel how you want it. You can't qualify it that way and expect that they're going to be

00:26:22.840 okay with it. What do you think they're going to say? You're going to say, well, it's just your

00:26:25.360 opinion. That's fine. Hey, look, everyone, everyone can have their own view on this.

00:26:29.940 You think that's what the trans activists are going to say. When have you ever known a trans 1.00

00:26:32.940 activist to respond that way? When's the last time you heard a trans activist say, Hey, look,

00:26:36.600 everyone has a right to their own opinion. And look, I respect your view on this.

00:26:39.540 They are never going to say that. That is not what they're going to say. You must bow before them.

00:26:45.960 You must bow at their feet. And if you don't do that, you are their enemy. 0.81

00:26:51.940 It's the, those are the two choices. They haven't left you a middle ground.

00:26:57.360 Um, which is why the only thing that makes logical and moral sense, not to mention strategic sense,

00:27:03.220 it's just the only thing that makes sense is to take this hardline stance. And, and, uh, and,

00:27:08.580 and that's it. I mean, do what you want with your own kids.

00:27:14.240 You realize that kids are too young to make these choices. You realize that transitioning child is 1.00

00:27:18.240 abusive. And yet you're saying that people should be able to do that to their kids if they want. So

00:27:22.340 people should be able to abuse their kids if they want to. That doesn't make sense.

00:27:26.620 Here's the only thing that makes sense, Neo. And it's, it's, uh, clear what you actually think,

00:27:34.040 but you don't want to go all the way and say this, but you should. Transitioning kids is abusive.

00:27:40.720 Nobody should be allowed to do it to their kids. Everyone has their own opinion about this.

00:27:46.200 But if your opinion is that it's okay to sterilize and castrate kids and dress little 0.95

00:27:50.360 boys up like girls and so on, then your opinion is wrong and also insane. You're allowed to have 0.63

00:27:57.640 that opinion. Can't stop you from having any opinion you want, but it's a wrong opinion. It's

00:28:01.320 a bad opinion. In fact, it's an opinion that shows that you are a bad person. It's a disgusting 0.76

00:28:06.680 opinion that reflects some very ugly things about you and your character and your morals. 1.00

00:28:12.540 And if you are doing this to your children, you need to stop you abusive psychopath. 0.99

00:28:17.000 And the law should stop you. You should be thrown in prison for it. That's what you should be saying. 1.00

00:28:24.320 That's clearly what you think. Okay. If you know that this, that this stuff is tantamount to the,

00:28:29.500 not tantamount. If you know that this is sterilization, castration, mutilation,

00:28:33.540 kids aren't old enough. Like, you know, it's abusive. Uh, I just, I don't believe you that you

00:28:40.420 think that people should be able to abuse their kids if they want. I don't think you actually think

00:28:45.100 that. That doesn't make any sense. Um, so you might as well, again, the middle ground,

00:28:53.360 as I'm always preaching, the middle ground is not available. Okay. It's, it's, there isn't one.

00:29:00.880 You're trying to stake out a position that doesn't really exist.

00:29:04.020 So go all the way with what you think and actually stand by it

00:29:12.280 without any kind of apology, not even an apology. I'm sorry if your feelings were hurt. I'm not,

00:29:19.040 I'm not sorry if your feelings are, are you really new? Are you actually, you said some really common

00:29:23.880 sense things as you point out your, they asked your opinion and you, you gave it. 0.99

00:29:28.720 And then a bunch of morons start crying about it because you should, you said that you shouldn't 1.00

00:29:35.560 dress a five-year-old boy up like a girl and a bunch of morons start crying and are offended by 1.00

00:29:40.740 it. And you're sorry for their heart hurt feelings. Are you really, really? You're, you're sorry. 0.99

00:29:46.740 You feel so, oh, I'm so sorry that you're in pain over this. Really? Is that, I don't think it is.

00:29:52.020 I can't read your mind. I don't think you're really sorry that their opinions,

00:29:55.340 that their feelings were hurt. And if you are, you shouldn't be. I'll tell you one thing for sure.

00:30:01.240 When I say something that is true and just basic common sense, if your feelings are hurt by it,

00:30:07.220 I am not sorry. And I don't care because that's your issue. That's your problem. It's not mine.

00:30:16.220 That's something you need to fix. It's not my issue.

00:30:19.320 And the fact that you are so deranged as to believe that it's okay to abuse kids in this way. 0.96

00:30:28.500 And the fact that you're so immature as to think that you should be able to control other people's 0.90

00:30:33.560 opinions based on, because it makes you feel bad if they have an opinion that disagrees with you.

00:30:39.120 All of that is your issue, not mine. The only position that makes sense.

00:30:45.420 Well, you remember, of course, that viral video of the woman on the plane who saw the reptilian demon

00:30:51.720 and then understandably got a little upset and she got up and left. And we never found out who that

00:30:58.480 woman was or what her name is. And the reason we didn't find out is because, and to this point,

00:31:06.500 it's because we don't need to know. We really just don't need to know. It doesn't matter at all.

00:31:11.360 It's not relevant. Who cares? So I know after that happened, and I was out of the loop when

00:31:18.560 this viral thing first blew up. But I know for weeks after that, there are a lot of people on

00:31:24.500 social media saying, who is this woman? No one knows who she is. She's disappeared. It's a great 1.00

00:31:28.660 mystery. It's not a mystery. She's just a person. And she's off living her life somewhere now.

00:31:33.880 And she's not going out of her way to identify herself to the internet mob. There's nothing mysterious

00:31:39.660 about that. But why do we need to know who it is? What difference does it make?

00:31:45.360 It makes no difference at all. It's not relevant. But that didn't stop the media.

00:31:49.880 And the media has now hunted this woman down. And they have published her name, her age,

00:31:55.880 her occupation, the neighborhood where she lives, and a photo of her house.

00:32:01.720 So here's the Daily Mail. The woman behind the shocking, that mother effer back there is not 0.98

00:32:08.560 real airplane meltdown has been unmasked as a 38-year-old Dallas marketing executive.

00:32:14.660 I'm not even going to say the name. It doesn't matter because it's all over the place anyway.

00:32:18.160 But still, she became erratic over an argument with the relatives that, okay, she became erratic

00:32:23.480 over an argument with relatives that she was traveling with. She reportedly told police the Dallas

00:32:28.720 resident had accused her relatives of stealing her AirPods. And that is supposedly what sparked all

00:32:35.540 this. After she claimed her relatives had stolen her AirPods, she began to say that the airplane was

00:32:40.480 not safe and would not make it to its destination. Official documents say that she was not willing to

00:32:46.220 leave the plane, had to be removed by American Airlines staff following the outburst, et cetera,

00:32:50.760 so forth. Who cares? And then they go into a lot of details about where she lives, like specifically

00:32:56.220 her neighborhood, her actual neighborhood, her neighborhood where she lives, more into her work

00:33:00.400 history, her resume, you know. And then, as I said, a photograph of her house is published.

00:33:09.160 And this is the kind of thing the media can just do, and there's no consequence at all.

00:33:15.380 You are directly trying to ruin this woman's life for no reason. And it's not even like this is

00:33:27.720 something with a political motive. And that wouldn't be okay either, but at least when they

00:33:32.280 do that, you understand what their motive is. That, okay, they're political partisans. They're

00:33:36.660 trying to destroy someone's life because they're on the other side of an issue. But there's nothing

00:33:40.840 political about this. We don't know anything about this woman's politics. She's a middle-aged 1.00

00:33:46.440 white woman in Dallas. The chances that she's a Democrat seem pretty high. But who knows? Doesn't 0.99

00:33:52.240 matter. There's no political element at all. It's just a, it was just kind of like a weird story.

00:33:58.640 And it was a weird video that people paid attention to and cared about way more than they should.

00:34:02.860 So what exactly? So we don't have the normal political explanation for this that at least

00:34:10.420 makes much, some kind of sense of it. That doesn't exist here. So what is the motive if you're in the

00:34:17.080 media and you're a reporter and you find yourself publishing a story, unmasking this woman's name and

00:34:28.380 everything else about her, and then even publishing a photograph of her house in your head? What are

00:34:35.440 you saying to yourself to justify this? How are you? You must be saying something. You must be telling

00:34:40.800 yourself, this is newsworthy. Everyone needs to know this woman's name and where she lives and what

00:34:46.440 her house looks like and where specifically you can find her. Everyone needs to know this because

00:34:51.480 what? That's what I want to know. How do you rationalize it to yourself?

00:35:00.300 Maybe I'm giving them too much credit in the media by assuming that they feel the need to

00:35:03.400 rationalize it to themselves. The media is comprised largely of, I mean, these are the reptilian monsters 0.79

00:35:11.000 themselves. Like they just act on instinct. It's like, it's just an insight. They probably don't even

00:35:15.440 think about it. It's like, oh yeah, this is a woman that was in a viral video and yeah, we should just

00:35:22.960 publish everything about her, embarrass her publicly and try to ruin her life because that's what we do.

00:35:27.440 Why not? I imagine that's as much analysis as they've given the situation. It is really,

00:35:35.460 really contemptible. The Daily Wire has this report. A federal judge halted a Colorado gun law that would

00:35:42.440 raise the age of purchasing a firearm to 21 years old on Monday, just as the sweeping gun reform measure

00:35:48.280 was set to go into effect. U.S. District of Colorado Chief Judge Philip Brimmer issued a temporary

00:35:54.620 restraining order against SB 23169, otherwise known as the 18 to 20 year old gun ban law coined by the

00:36:03.220 Rocky Mountain Gun Owners Nonprofit Organization, which filed a lawsuit against the state on grounds that

00:36:08.100 legislation infringes on the rights of citizens to keep and bear arms. Brimmer, appointed by President

00:36:13.660 George W. Bush, wrote in a 44 page opinion that the gun owners organization made a sufficient showing

00:36:18.960 that the balance of equities tips in the favor and in their favor and that the individual plaintiffs

00:36:23.680 propose injunction is in public interest because the individual plaintiffs have made a sufficient

00:36:27.580 showing that the law infringes on these, their Second Amendment rights. So this is what they're trying

00:36:33.280 to do, raise the age to 21, and a judge is blocking it for now. And of course, the effort to raise the age

00:36:45.160 for firearm ownership to 21 raises in itself all kinds of questions that we would direct at the people

00:36:53.480 who are advocating laws like this. And of course, all those people are on the left. That's the left.

00:36:58.280 That's what they want. They want to raise the age to 21. They probably want to raise it. If they could

00:37:01.780 raise it to 50, they would. And if they could raise it to 1,000 so that nobody could ever own one,

00:37:06.280 then they would do that. But they're settling for 21 because they figure that's something they can do.

00:37:13.100 But all kinds of questions, which is like, okay, so you think that people are not mature enough

00:37:21.360 to own a firearm at the age of 21, and yet 10 years before that?

00:37:31.780 They're mature enough to decide that they want to go on chemical castration drugs like Lupron.

00:37:38.920 Or even before that.

00:37:41.380 So by the age of like 10 or 11, according to the left, you're old enough to make

00:37:47.120 permanent life-altering decisions about your quote-unquote gender identity.

00:37:52.780 A decade later, you're barely old enough to be trusted with a firearm.

00:38:00.940 I mean, how do you make sense of that? And of course, if we're going to point out these

00:38:04.560 inconsistencies, we could go on and on. They want to lower the voting age to 16.

00:38:09.440 So 16, you're old enough to make decisions for the future, about the future of the country.

00:38:17.040 You know, you should be invited to the table at the age of 16 years old to make decisions about

00:38:23.520 the future of the country and to vote. And yet at 16, you're still, according to the left,

00:38:28.300 five years away from being mature enough to own a firearm.

00:38:31.740 All kinds of inconsistencies like that, which is why, here's what I would propose.

00:38:42.180 And this is just like for the sake of argument. And I don't know how many people would even go

00:38:49.340 along with me on this. Here's a compromise, maybe I'll throw it. It's worth thinking about.

00:38:54.700 You want to raise firearm ownership to 21. What about this? What if I said,

00:38:59.560 let's raise everything to 25? Let's just get everything on the same page. 25 is the age.

00:39:08.420 Voting, everything, everything you can't do until you're 25. And let's just say 25 is the age.

00:39:15.580 And so now that's going to be when official adulthood really starts for all of these purposes.

00:39:24.080 Would they agree to that? At least that's consistent.

00:39:29.560 That also would mean, by the way, that any kind of gender transition, that doesn't happen until

00:39:33.480 you're 25. Now, as you know, I don't think that should happen at all. I don't think anyone should

00:39:37.640 be doing that. But for right now, could we at least agree on that compromise? I don't like the idea of

00:39:43.460 you can't own a firearm until you're 25. But there's a compromise. Maybe we'll throw that out

00:39:48.140 and think about it. Let's have that conversation. 25, that's when your brain is fully developed.

00:39:53.860 Uh, your prefrontal cortex is sort of fully developed and online at that, at that point

00:39:58.820 at 25 and not before then. And so, uh, that seems to be a, a, a, uh, potentially, uh, it's at least

00:40:07.200 kind of an objective, uh, cutoff point there. Would they agree to that? And something tells me that

00:40:13.760 they wouldn't, um, or even if we kept it at 21, okay, you want to raise the, the, the age of

00:40:22.020 firearm ownership to 21. Okay. Well, can we take everything else and put it at 21? Voting, gender

00:40:29.240 transition, all the rest of it. What do you think about that? Uh, I'm thinking they're not going to

00:40:34.640 be on board with it. Okay. Finally, Wayne Brady, uh, this is from the New York post, big news,

00:40:39.980 huge news, actually. I should have led with this. Wayne Brady, um, has come out as pansexual. This

00:40:46.060 happened on Monday and this is breaking news. Um, so you've probably already heard it because it's

00:40:51.700 Tuesday now and I'm sure you, you heard the news yesterday. Um, uh, and he explained that he's,

00:40:57.280 he struggled to define his sexuality and manage his quote, love addiction. Quote, I am pansexual.

00:41:03.340 He boldly told people clarifying that he's attracted to people regardless of their sex or

00:41:07.260 gender. Bisexual with an open mind, quote unquote. The let's make a deal host 51 is on a path to

00:41:13.700 self-discovery as he films a reality show about his blended family that's set to premiere on Hulu

00:41:18.440 next year. Well, that's a, and that's just a coincidence by the way, don't make, don't read

00:41:23.080 too much into that. So he's got a new show coming out that he's trying to promote. And while promoting

00:41:28.040 this new show is when he just so happens to discover his new sexual identity at the age of 51.

00:41:33.760 Total coincidence. I, it's really convenient timing. Sometimes, sometimes that happens in life.

00:41:38.140 Sometimes you have a show to promote and it's right at that moment that you realize, you know

00:41:41.420 what? Actually, I'm a member of the LGBT community. I never knew it before. That's what it turns out.

00:41:45.800 That happens. And it happens a lot these days. Uh, but I don't want you to think that there's

00:41:50.620 anything cynical happening here at all. That would be an unfair assumption. Even if that's quite

00:41:55.780 obviously the case, still unfair assumption. Um, he says, quote, I came to pay pansexual because,

00:42:04.340 and I know that I'm completely messing up the dictionary meaning, but to me, pan means being

00:42:08.600 able to be attracted to anyone who identifies as gay, straight, bi, transsexual, non-binary,

00:42:13.880 being able to be attracted across the board. Brady said, Rod, Robin Williams, 2014 suicide really

00:42:20.400 impacted Brady, setting him on a journey of self-reflection and inspiring him to become

00:42:24.660 very vocal about mental health. Well, there's a lot of therapy that I'm doing right now.

00:42:30.040 I wish people didn't care. I wish I didn't care what people think of me, but the fact of the

00:42:33.380 matter is I do care. Once I opened that door to myself, though, I had to start learning about

00:42:37.600 myself and I had to start owning up to things that maybe I'd either repressed, suppressed,

00:42:41.960 or just didn't want to deal with. And so that's, that's the news. Big stuff. Now,

00:42:50.120 not to beat a dead horse here, but you know, I've been very critical of the mental health industry

00:42:55.240 lately. And here's exhibit 5,037 as to why. Wayne Brady, 51 years old, goes to therapy because he's

00:43:02.720 feeling sad because people are saying mean things about him. And then he comes out of therapy

00:43:07.300 believing that he's pansexual. So he has adopted the, the made up sexuality of a 22 year old TikTok

00:43:14.260 influencer. That's the path of healing that therapy has led him on. And also this is just creepy. I

00:43:23.080 gotta say it's made up. Obviously that's the main thing. Pansexual is not a thing. It's not real.

00:43:29.140 It's also creepy. I'm able to be attracted to anyone. He says, you like, calm down. That's I can

00:43:40.480 walk into a room and just be attracted. Just the way he phrases it to me makes it creepier. I am able

00:43:47.660 to be attracted to anyone. Like this is some sort of superpower that he has. I can walk into a room and

00:43:56.260 be attracted to anyone or anything. Okay. Just watch me. You don't think I can not something to

00:44:02.900 be proud of, man. That's the fact that you're in a constant state of arousal is, is not something you

00:44:10.020 want to brag about in the news. It's not open-minded. It's just weird. Pick a side. Okay. Pick a team.

00:44:18.440 Stop being indecisive. That's what, that's what, that's what pansexual really is. Aside from made up, 0.94

00:44:23.220 it's a lack of commitment. And you know, the thing is other people, I think, and this will be

00:44:32.460 controversial, but other people have a right to know. Okay. Other people have a right to know

00:44:37.400 if they are potential objects of your sexual fantasies. And so that's why it's not fair to

00:44:43.440 walk around and say, I'm attracted to anyone, anyone at all. No one's safe.

00:44:48.700 Now, whenever a group is, if there's like a group of people sitting in a room with Wayne Brady,

00:44:55.760 and so it's a diverse group and you've got like a overweight 65 year old man, and then you got a,

00:45:03.520 you know, a young woman and whatever, everyone's sitting around and they're all thinking he could

00:45:10.700 be attracted to any one of us right now. Any one of us. It could be any of us.

00:45:18.020 It's scary. It's like some kind of Agatha Christie novel in a weird way.

00:45:25.160 So anyway, that's the news about Wayne Brady. A lot more that could be said about this really,

00:45:30.760 as we continue to dissect Wayne Brady's made up sexuality, but I think we'd probably just leave

00:45:35.580 it there. Let's get to the comment section. Grand Canyon University is an affordable private

00:46:23.080 That's gcu.edu. First comment says the whole team was full of uncharismatic, despicable players. 0.95

00:46:30.160 Who wants to root for a team that hates us and everything we stand for? We're obviously talking

00:46:33.800 about the women's soccer team here, which I think probably you guessed that just based on the 0.66

00:46:37.240 comment. Yeah, there's really nothing to root for at all. And that's the thing on top of the fact that

00:46:44.260 they hate this country and they hate most of us and all the other, and their, and their various 0.98

00:46:48.880 repulsive stunts that they've pulled and stances that they've taken. On top of that, it's just,

00:46:55.020 there's not like Megan Rapinoe, there's nothing. It's even if you didn't know her politics, like it's 0.92

00:47:01.600 impossible to not know her politics just by looking at her and the haircut and everything else. But

00:47:06.320 even if somehow you didn't know her politics, it's just, there's no, there's nothing there. It's very

00:47:12.700 clearly, this is not, this is not what you think of. You think of the sort of the classic,

00:47:18.060 charismatic kind of sports hero. And she's not that.

00:47:26.480 GCM says, had a family member attend this game. And when I asked, when I asked, she said the majority

00:47:30.980 of the crowd was cheering for Sweden. Proof that Rapinoe and the US women's soccer team have

00:47:35.860 battered the reputation globally. It was very noticeable when you watch that clip of Megan 0.99

00:47:43.740 Rapinoe botching that, that kick there at the end, the penalty kick or the open kick. What was it?

00:47:52.040 Free kick? Penalty kick? Some kind of kick. She botched it is the point. She was, she was standing

00:47:56.760 right there and she botched it. But the crowd erupting in applause, it made it very clear that

00:48:03.080 there weren't any, not a lot of USA fans in the audience. Even if there are people who are from the

00:48:09.180 USA, apparently we're not rooting for the USA, which probably tells you everything.

00:48:13.360 NSY Research says, hi, Matt, a Brit here. Football isn't communist, mate. It's possibly the widest

00:48:19.420 played sport in the world, played by people of all classes, sexes, and probably every country in the

00:48:23.960 world. I agree with your comments about Rapinoe. She's a pain in the arse. Oh, so you mean it's 0.83

00:48:28.760 communist? So as you just described, it's exactly what makes a communist in my book.

00:48:35.200 Sudoku Beast says, Matt, I'm a viewer from the UK, man. Please don't do football.

00:48:39.020 That badly. Stop calling it football, first of all. We already took that. And I know we've had

00:48:45.620 this argument many times. And I know that people that are fans of soccer and other parts of the

00:48:49.900 world, they say, well, we had football first and you came along and stole it. And I don't deny that.

00:48:55.480 Many times when the USA historically is accused of stealing things, we stole land. I will correct

00:49:02.020 that. And I'll say, no, we didn't steal the land. We conquered it. There's a difference.

00:49:05.700 But in this case, I will fully admit we stole it. And I love that. I love that America made a

00:49:14.540 different sport that doesn't even mostly involve kicking. There's a little bit of kicking, but it's

00:49:20.360 mostly you're throwing the ball and carrying it. It's much more you're using your hands than your

00:49:24.580 feet. And this entirely different sport's got nothing to do with soccer and very little to do

00:49:29.520 with your feet, making contact with the ball and then decided to call it football. It just stole

00:49:34.580 that name, appropriated it for no reason. I don't know all, I don't know the, the, the history,

00:49:39.320 the etymology of why that name was chosen for football. I'm sure you could probably look it up

00:49:43.340 on Wikipedia, but I like to think what I like to think is that it was just an act of trolling.

00:49:48.320 It was simply trolling the rest of the world as a, we are taking this and that's what we're going to

00:49:53.220 do because, because we can. And that's what I love about it. Ben says, I work on a NASCAR team

00:50:00.760 and everyone I know thinks this is way out of line, which is the NASCAR driver being indefinitely

00:50:05.680 suspended for liking a George Floyd meme. NASCAR is regulating its drivers more than the safety of

00:50:10.720 the cars now. Yeah, I don't, I don't watch NASCAR either, I admit, but you talk about someone,

00:50:18.020 an NASCAR driver being suspended indefinitely, which is another way of saying permanently.

00:50:23.960 So basically he's permanently banned from the league because he liked a George Floyd meme.

00:50:31.660 But what is the penalty? And you'll have to tell me this because I don't know, but

00:50:34.360 what's the penalty if you're going 190 miles an hour or whatever it is and you slam another car

00:50:41.400 into the wall? Is, is that an indefinite suspension too? If you intentionally slam another

00:50:46.020 car into the wall, maybe it is, but I don't think it is, is it? So you could do something

00:50:52.580 in the middle of a NASCAR race that could actually get somebody killed and correct me if I'm wrong,

00:51:00.240 that's probably not going to be an indefinite suspension. Yet if you like a meme that's offensive

00:51:07.140 to George Floyd's worshipers, then that's what gets you the indefinite suspension. It's amazing.

00:51:12.440 And finally, Media Lab Production says, when you think about it, Matt is always right.

00:51:19.400 Finally, someone understands me. Someone gets me. I feel seen. Thank you for that.

00:52:28.520 Yesterday, a video went viral of a TikTok influencer describing her encounter with a man

00:52:33.660 on the streets of San Francisco. And the video begins with the classic line,

00:52:38.080 I'm literally shaking right now. And in your typical TikTok video, that opening would lead to a tale of

00:52:43.560 misgendering or some other microaggression. But in this case, the incident she describes,

00:52:48.680 assuming that it happened as she describes, is actually quite serious. Listen.

00:52:53.960 I'm literally shaking right now. I was just getting groceries and I live in San Francisco and I never

00:52:59.140 really feel fully safe. If you live in San Francisco, I'm sure you know what I'm talking

00:53:03.160 about. And I just got groceries. I'm walking out of the store and this guy is walking past me

00:53:07.800 and says, move you stupid and he spits in my face. That's all over my face. And then I say, 1.00

00:53:13.760 excuse me, did you just spit in my face? And he says, move or I'll rape you. There's also people 1.00

00:53:18.840 everywhere and everyone's just walking by because they're like, I can't handle something else in San

00:53:22.660 Francisco. It's always something else. I don't even know why I'm posting this. If you live in San

00:53:26.420 Francisco, do you feel this way all the time? I don't feel safe ever. I literally never feel

00:53:30.760 safe. It's better when it's daylight, but nighttime, no, not leaving my house.

00:53:37.320 Now, normally I would be highly skeptical of a story like this, but she lives in San Francisco,

00:53:42.340 which makes it immensely believable. If she lived in a normal neighborhood, it would be unthinkable

00:53:46.400 that some man would just walk up to her on the sidewalk, spit in her face and then threaten to 1.00

00:53:50.720 rape her. You know, as Jason Aldean would say, try that in a small town. These things, 0.99

00:53:54.940 these kinds of things don't happen in small towns or even medium sized towns. Yet in San Francisco,

00:54:00.820 it has gotten to the point where it would actually be a shock if you live there for a few months

00:54:04.520 and didn't get randomly accosted by a lunatic on the street at least once.

00:54:09.760 So although I don't, I don't know what really happened or if this really happened at all,

00:54:13.420 I'm more than willing to believe it because again, this is San Francisco.

00:54:18.600 That's also why it is at this point, very hard for me to have sympathy for the typical San 1.00

00:54:23.320 Francisco resident who has this kind of typical San Francisco experience. These are, in almost every

00:54:28.720 case, liberals who vote for leftist candidates who promise to make their communities less safe.

00:54:34.760 They vote for this. They choose it. They literally ask for it. And then they get what they asked for.

00:54:43.260 My capacity for pity has, I confess, limits. And residents of San Francisco live outside of those

00:54:51.100 limits at this point. Their communities do not have to be the disgusting crime infested wastelands

00:54:57.240 that they've become. This is what the people in those communities have chosen. It's what they've

00:55:00.780 done to themselves and continue to do. I made this point on Twitter and in response to this video,

00:55:06.740 and I was immediately scolded for saying this. I was told that my attitude is heartless and callous

00:55:10.940 and cruel. And I'm not, I'm not going to succeed in persuading anyone if this is how I approach the

00:55:15.600 issue. I was also lectured for making assumptions about this woman just based on the fact that she 0.99

00:55:21.220 lives in the city. For all, you know, for all I know, she could be a young conservative white woman 1.00

00:55:25.980 in San Francisco. One of the, like, three in that category in the city. That's possible, technically.

00:55:33.400 But in this case, my intuition was correct. Because here's another earlier TikTok video from this same

00:55:38.620 woman. Watch. I'm very liberal and not very religious. So if you're going to be offended,

00:55:44.000 maybe turn away now. First up, the gift of life sponsored by the right to life. I would give this

00:55:49.640 a six out of 10 because the font choice is giving Disney and it's just so predictable. And as someone

00:55:55.020 who has given the gift of life, it's not that great and I want to return it sometimes. Next up,

00:55:58.880 I give this one nine out of 10 because when was the last time you honestly saw an entire billboard

00:56:03.540 dedicated to selling jacuzzis and spas? So vintage and unproblematic. Step. I would give this one four

00:56:09.460 out of 10 because I'm just not sure what is the call to action here? What do you want me to do with

00:56:13.800 this information? Sorry, I don't have an answer for that. Me neither, Alexa. We're all a little bit

00:56:19.000 confused right now. This next one, I would rate this nine out of 10 because finally someone understands

00:56:24.180 that only big boys need storage. As a simple-minded weak little female, I absolutely do not need

00:56:29.600 storage. I have no items and I don't own anything, especially land. At least Indiana gets it. Next up,

00:56:34.860 I will definitely offend someone with this one. Do you know Jesus? He died for you. Well, as one of

00:56:38.660 the only Jewish people in Indiana this weekend, do you know Jesus? Because he was my friend first.

00:56:44.860 Four out of 10 because who are you to ask if I know Jesus? That is very hard to judge because on one

00:56:50.460 hand, the production value is very high. It reminds me when I walk by Anthropologie and I see their new

00:56:54.580 store windows and I think, wow, whoever designed that has such an eye for production.

00:56:58.860 On the other hand though, I look at this and think, hmm, pray, work, vote for life. But what I really

00:57:04.860 see is pray, work, vote for the fetus. And then once the baby comes out, don't help those mothers. 0.82

00:57:09.560 Don't pay into taxes that support lunches and healthcare and paid maternity and all the things

00:57:14.780 that mothers need to actually care for their children, especially women of color who really 1.00

00:57:18.380 have it way harder than most women in this country. So on that hand, I'm going to give this zero out of 1.00

00:57:23.280 10. Hmm. And then she walks outside of her house and gets accosted by a random homeless guy in San

00:57:29.340 Francisco and I'm supposed to feel, I'm supposed to cry about that? Well, you know, they say you

00:57:36.000 can't judge a book by its cover, but once again, we find that yes, you can do precisely that most of

00:57:40.720 the time. If you assumed that a young white woman in San Francisco would be a smug and sufferable 1.00

00:57:45.180 leftist who makes videos mocking Christians and pro-lifers and people who live in small towns and 0.95

00:57:50.620 even joking about how she wishes she aborted her own child, which is what she said there at the

00:57:55.760 beginning, if you didn't catch it, well, your assumption is as accurate as was always destined

00:58:00.080 to be. This is, in other words, exactly the kind of person who has actively made San Francisco

00:58:06.260 into the toxic dump that it is today. Now she's crying about the consequences of her own choices.

00:58:14.180 Has she learned her lesson though? I mean, was this her awakening moment? Am I sitting here

00:58:18.700 alienating someone who has seen the error of her ways? No, of course not. Of course not.

00:58:25.880 In fact, immediately after posting that video where she's shaking in tears, recounting her

00:58:29.940 traumatic experience, her next move was to post a series of follow-up videos where she uses her

00:58:36.140 experience as an opportunity to lecture racist and anti-Semitic internet commenters who she says

00:58:41.380 have been making bigoted assumptions. This is her priority after having just been, according to her,

00:58:47.040 assaulted and threatened with rape by a guy on the street. Her priority after that experience is to

00:58:54.540 lecture people for being racist on the internet. Here's one of her follow-up videos. Watch.

00:59:00.820 No. It was a very well-groomed and well-dressed white man. Also, this is incredibly racist and you will be blocked now. Goodbye.

00:59:12.720 Oh yeah, sure. A well-dressed white man. We know that those are, you know, those are the kinds of

00:59:19.800 people that are making our cities unlivable. Got to watch out for those well-dressed white men. I mean, 1.00

00:59:24.780 every day we see another video of well-dressed white men randomly harassing and assaulting 0.95

00:59:28.800 pedestrians, don't we? It's always a well-dressed white man. The funny thing here is that if she just 0.94

00:59:34.640 said it was a white man, we couldn't believe it. There are plenty of drugged out white hobos in San 0.99

00:59:38.840 Francisco and every other city. But she had to throw in well-dressed and well-groomed because she 0.99

00:59:44.100 didn't want anyone to think that the person was homeless. After all, homeless people are a

00:59:47.140 marginalized group. They're victims. And she couldn't allow her story to be used to smear the

00:59:51.760 good name of homeless drug addicts. Which raises the question, who did actually attack her? Did anyone

00:59:57.460 attack her? Who knows? Maybe it was a well-dressed white man. Maybe it was a white man in a three-piece

01:00:03.740 suit, a top hat, and a monocle. Maybe the monopoly man attacked her. It's possible.

01:00:07.560 Strange things happen, especially in San Francisco. But whatever happened, we are left with this basic

01:00:14.320 truth. Every community is the kind of community that it wants to be. If the people of San Francisco

01:00:23.860 actually wanted to live in a safe, clean city where law and order prevail, if they prioritized

01:00:30.980 this, if they prioritized their own well-being and the well-being of their families and their

01:00:36.420 children, then San Francisco would be safe and clean and law and order would prevail.

01:00:42.180 It really is that simple. Now, I'm accused of not reaching out, not trying to persuade people like

01:00:49.060 the woman in this video. And that's true. It's not my goal to persuade her. She's an adult. She has a

01:00:56.680 brain, no matter how it may seem. She does have one. She understands at a basic level that crime is bad.

01:01:02.540 That it's bad to feel unsafe all the time. That garbage and fecal matter all over the street,

01:01:08.380 that's bad. I don't need to persuade her of this fact, even if I was interested in persuading her,

01:01:14.460 which I'm not. She already knows. She also knows that she's voting for candidates who expressly

01:01:20.060 promise to not address any of these problems and who, in fact, pledge to do everything they can to

01:01:24.500 make it worse. I don't need to explain that either. All these people already know that.

01:01:31.860 They know what they're doing. They have decided to put their ideological and political commitments

01:01:36.840 above their own safety and their own prosperity. They have decided to sacrifice everything on the

01:01:42.240 altar of the narrative. Again, I don't need to tell them this. Nobody does. They know it.

01:01:47.500 What is left to do then but to leave them to wallow in their own self-inflicted misery? It's not our job

01:01:54.180 to rescue them from the consequences of their own actions. And even if it was our job, there's no way

01:01:58.060 we can. It's not possible. If there's any hope for these people now, it's going to come the hard way,

01:02:04.680 the hardest way. They're going to have to make their own lives unbearably awful. They're going to have

01:02:10.780 to suffer personal tragedy. They're going to have to really experience the world that they've created

01:02:16.900 for themselves. That's what's going to have to happen. Maybe they'll get to the point where they

01:02:22.460 can't take it anymore, where the reality is too dire to keep ignoring. Or maybe, and I think that

01:02:29.700 this is more likely, they'll decide to go down with the ship. Their cities will fall apart and they will

01:02:36.420 stay and let themselves be buried under the rubble. Maybe they'd rather die than admit that they're wrong

01:02:42.860 and that we're right. Well, so be it. The choice is theirs. I can't make it for them. 0.80

01:02:50.820 And yeah, I don't feel sorry for them. But I will say that these leftists who've ruined their own

01:02:56.520 communities are today canceled. And I'll do it for today. Thanks for watching. Thanks for listening.

01:03:01.040 Have a great day. Godspeed.
