00:00:17.240 And a plus-sized influencer says that hotels need to do more to accommodate fat people,
00:00:21.500 including widening their hallways.
00:00:23.500 We'll talk about all that and more today on the Matt Wall Show.

00:01:42.060 If you want to know how our leaders plan to transform this country, it's not enough to look at the millions of foreigners from the third world that they're importing into the country every year.
00:01:52.160 That's obviously one of the most important parts of what they're doing, and it's clearly deliberate.
00:01:56.400 We have Border Patrol agents literally fist-bumping illegal migrants on camera and cutting the fence for them.
00:02:03.440 But at the same time, it's also important to take a look at the kinds of people the government is expelling from the country.
00:02:10.160 So don't just focus on who they're importing, although that's very important.
00:02:14.840 Look at who they're exporting arbitrarily and by force.
00:02:18.820 And if you do that, you'll learn a lot about the ideologies that our government truly cannot stand.
00:02:23.220 You'll discover what they desperately want to destroy as quickly and completely as they can.
00:02:28.180 So here's a case that tells you everything you need to know on that front.
00:02:32.080 Just a few weeks ago, without any warning, the Biden administration decided to deport the Ramica family.
00:02:37.500 They've been living in the state of Tennessee for the past 15 years.
00:02:40.600 This is a family that, unlike the illegal immigrant drunk drivers and violent felons that the Biden administration will defend at every opportunity, has not committed any crime.
00:02:50.880 So what did they do?
00:02:52.280 Well, back in 2006, you and Hannah Lore Ramica were living in Germany.
00:02:57.260 And they decided they wanted to homeschool their five children because they're Christians.
00:03:00.740 And they were upset about the perverted and satanic books and curriculum that their kids were being forced to read and were being subjected to in schools.
00:03:08.980 Which, you know, may sound familiar based on the experiences of lots of parents in this country.
00:03:13.220 But in Germany, homeschooling was not allowed.
00:03:16.160 There is a Nazi-era law in Germany, which is still in effect to this day, that bans homeschooling in the vast majority of cases.
00:03:23.680 So officials in Germany started fining the Ramicas for more than what they earn in a year because they were trying to homeschool their kids.
00:03:31.880 Police officers showed up and dragged their kids to school.
00:03:34.180 They threatened to take the children away permanently.
00:03:37.940 So the Ramica family had a decision to make.
00:03:40.240 And to protect their children, you and Hannah Lore Ramica fled to the United States back in 2008.
00:03:45.840 Now, initially, an immigration judge approved their request for asylum.
00:03:50.100 But the Obama administration appealed that decision.
00:03:52.380 Ultimately, a federal appeals court told the family that they had to leave the United States and return to Germany.
00:03:57.640 This is a report on what happened.
00:03:59.360 This is from a decade ago.
00:04:00.540 This is back when all this first started.
00:04:03.180 Let's watch that.
00:04:04.920 The appeals court upheld the Obama administration's refusal of asylum to the Ramica family.
00:04:10.420 The Ramicas fled Germany in 2008, facing criminal prosecution for homeschooling.
00:04:16.700 They live in Tennessee.
00:04:18.560 In 2010, they were granted political asylum by an immigration judge.
00:04:22.860 But that decision was overturned by the Board of Immigration Appeals last year.
00:04:28.340 And Tuesday, the three-judge panel of the Sixth Circuit issued a unanimous decision against the family.
00:04:34.480 Uwe and Hannah Lore Ramica began homeschooling in Germany because they didn't want their children exposed to things like witchcraft
00:04:41.820 and graphic sex education that are taught in German schools.
00:04:45.540 Also, there were stories where they were encouraged to ask the devil for help instead of God.
00:04:52.300 And actually, the devil would help.
00:04:54.540 We found out what is in the textbooks.
00:04:57.560 It's exactly the opposite from what the Bible tells us and teaches us.
00:05:03.060 And we wanted to protect them.
00:05:07.460 So they're good parents, in other words.
00:05:09.120 They're good parents and they care about their kids.
00:05:11.080 Can't have those types around here, can we?
00:05:13.220 Now, after this decision was made to deport the family, and after it was upheld in courts,
00:05:18.440 there was an enormous public outcry, as you might imagine.
00:05:21.400 So the DHS, under the Obama administration, did something unexpected.
00:05:25.020 They allowed the Ramicas to stay in this country.
00:05:28.200 In 2013, the feds granted the family something called indefinite deferred action status.
00:05:32.860 And that allowed them to work and to live in the United States without fear of deportation
00:05:37.620 and without any timetable for leaving.
00:05:39.640 So they were, you know, for all intents and purposes, they were free and clear.
00:05:44.640 That was their arrangement for a decade.
00:05:46.800 And during this period, the Ramicas had two more children, both of whom were born in the United States.
00:05:52.260 But then on September 6th of this year, during a routine check-in, all of this changed.
00:05:57.980 The Ramicas learned that their deferred status was coming to an end for some reason.
00:06:02.800 The Biden administration had decided that they were going to terminate.
00:06:05.680 They were going to terminate that status.
00:06:07.080 And they weren't given a reason.
00:06:08.440 There's no reason for this.
00:06:09.440 They were just told, it's over.
00:06:11.440 You got to leave.
00:06:12.260 And they were told that they had four weeks to get German passports and that they'll be deported on October 11th, which is next week.
00:06:19.240 Now, just so you know, because you might be wondering, well, did they do something?
00:06:23.460 Did something happen?
00:06:24.060 Um, no, nobody in the Ramica family did anything to trigger this change in the federal government's reasoning.
00:06:30.800 All that's happened is that the Biden administration has decided that they want to end their deferred status out of the blue.
00:06:37.560 Watch.
00:06:39.120 Their argument was, we've got a well-founded fear of persecution by Germany because we're in this particular social category of homeschoolers.
00:06:46.780 Kevin Bowden and the Homeschool Legal Defense Association helped the Ramicas fight in court.
00:06:52.460 An appeals court ruled against their asylum.
00:06:55.280 They have not shown that Germany's enforcement of its general school attendance law amounts to persecution against them, the judge wrote.
00:07:02.780 And they're here with the approval of the U.S. government, but without permanent residency.
00:07:08.280 Uwe says immigration agents asked him and his family to get German passports ready to self-deport.
00:07:14.400 You know, we will be faced with the same situation, same kind of persecution.
00:07:19.380 Two of his children are married to American citizens.
00:07:22.580 Two others were born here.
00:07:25.240 He says the hardest part is not knowing what's next.
00:07:29.040 We don't have any place to live there.
00:07:31.540 I don't have any work to provide for my family over there.
00:07:39.500 Now, the Ramicas have stayed here since that ruling through an understanding with ICE.
00:07:43.920 They're required to check in with immigration agents every six months to a year.
00:07:48.820 Now they say they're working with their attorneys to figure out what's next.
00:07:51.920 John, Robin.
00:07:52.860 Thank you.
00:07:53.480 So a federal court ruled a decade ago that this family doesn't technically qualify for asylum, even though they're in a really difficult position.
00:08:01.980 And whether you agree with that ruling or not, it really doesn't matter.
00:08:04.480 Even if we concede for the sake of argument that this family doesn't have a legitimate asylum claim, the fact remains that the Biden administration has spent the last several years refusing to deport millions of illegal aliens who clearly don't have any legitimate basis for asylum.
00:08:19.000 And by the way, I say for the sake of argument, we can concede it.
00:08:22.880 I personally do not concede that, by the way.
00:08:24.860 It's obvious to me that if you flee a country because you're being persecuted for exercising your basic human right to educate your own children, you are in every sense a legitimate asylum seeker.
00:08:36.620 So to me, it's quite obvious that this is a legitimate case of asylum.
00:08:42.380 And especially in a country where we're told that you're being persecuted if somebody uses a pronoun you don't like in your presence.
00:08:50.980 Well, I think the government coming in and dragging your children away and say we're to take your children away permanently if you don't send them to our indoctrination camps to learn Satanism.
00:09:00.280 Yeah, that's that's a case for asylum.
00:09:04.440 But the point is that we already open our arms to many illegal immigrants who have no claim to asylum at all.
00:09:12.180 You know, in many cases, we're talking about criminals who came here simply because they want to make more money.
00:09:17.980 And these criminals enjoy total protection under the Biden administration.
00:09:22.220 In fact, Joe Biden himself is on record saying that he wants ICE agents fired if they deport illegal aliens who come here and then get caught drunk driving.
00:09:32.500 Watch.
00:09:33.840 They go off to school wondering whether when mom comes and picks him up, is she not going to be there because an ICE agent was there to arrest her?
00:09:40.420 Or they take she takes him to the doctor that she's going to not be there because she is, quote, undocumented and ICE agent is going to pick him up.
00:09:48.000 So how do you change the culture?
00:09:49.120 Change the culture by saying you're going to get fired.
00:09:52.260 You're fired if, in fact, you do that.
00:09:54.680 You only arrest for the purpose of dealing with a felony that's committed.
00:09:59.880 And I don't count drunk driving as a felony.
00:10:06.220 He doesn't count it as a felony.
00:10:08.180 I mean, the courts in many cases disagree, but, you know, it's just drunk driving.
00:10:13.160 It's just, you know, you're in a toxic state, you get behind the wheel of a car and you could easily kill somebody.
00:10:18.040 Not a big deal.
00:10:20.100 So, if you come here from Haiti or El Salvador and then having broken our laws to enter the country in the first place, you proceed to get completely wasted and endanger American citizens on the road.
00:10:32.260 Joe Biden thinks you shouldn't have to fear deportation.
00:10:35.260 And on top of that, he thinks that any federal agent who even contemplates deporting you should lose their job.
00:10:42.660 But ICE has no problem going after the Ramikas.
00:10:45.460 And none of the ICE officers telling this family that they're about to be deported are worried about getting fired by Joe Biden because they're following orders.
00:10:54.880 This law-abiding, hard-working Christian family is dangerous, apparently, according to the Biden government.
00:11:02.480 We've got to get them out.
00:11:04.960 Not the illegal immigrants that come here and they're getting drunk and driving around and killing people.
00:11:09.720 Not them.
00:11:12.020 We need to get this family out.
00:11:14.900 They're lawbreakers because of some technicality with asylum procedure.
00:11:18.240 The family patriarch who works as a piano accompanist at a small private university in Tennessee is a threat somehow.
00:11:25.960 But, you know, the drunk drivers who could wipe out your whole family, well, we need to protect them at all costs.
00:11:30.100 That's what they're saying, basically.
00:11:33.540 Now, it's so absurd on its face that you have to conclude that something else is going on here.
00:11:37.080 And what might that be?
00:11:38.000 Well, the other day, one of the many ghouls at the left-wing propaganda outfit Media Matters said the quiet part out loud.
00:11:44.560 Of course, usually it's not worth paying any attention to Media Matters most of the time.
00:11:49.040 There are partisan, Soros-funded operations that exist to defame and smear their political opponents.
00:11:53.140 That's all they do.
00:11:53.840 But as a window, and also they exist to promote the Daily Wire, and that's the part that we like.
00:11:57.560 But as a window into what the Biden government and their allies are planning, it can be useful to check in on Media Matters and outfits like that every now and again.
00:12:07.240 So with that in mind, here's what one of the Media Matters hacks, who uses the name Ari Drennan, posted the other day on Twitter.
00:12:13.560 Quote, hot take, but unless you have a very good reason, homeschooling should be illegal.
00:12:19.100 Too many parents use it to abuse their children, keeping them ignorant and easy to control.
00:12:23.220 Now, Drennan was responding to a video of a child pointing out that Joe Biden sniffs children and how disgusting that is.
00:12:31.960 Now, of course, any reasonable, well-adjusted child would agree that it's disgusting that this old man sniffs children.
00:12:37.140 But that makes Joe Biden look bad, so Ari Drennan couldn't let it stand.
00:12:40.380 And in the process, the quiet part was uttered out loud, which is this.
00:12:43.540 Many on the left, especially the LGBT left, have hated homeschooling for a long time because they see it as a direct attack on their ability to indoctrinate the next generation of Americans.
00:12:54.980 And by the way, they're right about that.
00:12:57.220 It is a direct attack on their ability to do that.
00:13:00.460 So they want to outlaw homeschooling, just like they did back in Germany in 1938.
00:13:04.500 They'll accuse you of child abuse if you resist their indoctrination.
00:13:10.340 And ultimately, they'll try to take your children away.
00:13:13.860 And then they'll do it on some pretense that, you know, which is actually very funny that homeschooled children, they're being kept ignorant.
00:13:22.400 They're not being well-educated.
00:13:23.920 Meanwhile, the government education system is churning out high school graduates who can barely read, you know, who can't point to their own country on a map.
00:13:36.600 And we're churning these people out every single year by the thousands.
00:13:43.200 But homeschooling, that's the real problem.
00:13:46.620 And that's what this is really about.
00:13:48.300 It's about the agenda against homeschooling.
00:13:51.100 And it's hard to imagine another reason why the Biden administration could possibly want to deport the Ramikas.
00:13:56.480 The truth is obvious.
00:13:57.380 They want to take out a symbolic target.
00:14:00.700 White Christians who won't do what they're told, who won't surrender their children to the perverse propaganda that the Biden administration endorses, are the enemy of this regime.
00:14:10.380 And now they're very publicly being shown the door.
00:14:13.320 This is a precursor to what they're planning for the rest of us.
00:14:17.200 It's also, once again, a chance for the Biden administration to humiliate its political enemies.
00:14:21.480 I mean, the Ramikas have seven children.
00:14:23.740 One of them is married to an American citizen named Trace Bates.
00:14:27.060 And according to the Tennessean Trace Bates, reading now, quote,
00:14:29.960 Trace Bates was photographed with his brother in crowds at a pro-Trump protest in Washington on January 6, 2021.
00:14:35.740 Trace's brother, Lawson Bates, said on social media that the two attended a pro-Trump event in Washington's Ellipse Park,
00:14:41.640 but were not part of the riot at the U.S. Capitol.
00:14:44.800 So the point is, this family definitely doesn't have the right politics as far as Biden is concerned.
00:14:50.960 Now, if they had torched a Wendy's on behalf of BLM, maybe they could stay.
00:14:56.000 But they like Donald Trump, and at least some in the family do.
00:15:00.640 I don't know what all their politics are.
00:15:02.300 And they question the sacred legitimacy of our infallible elections.
00:15:07.100 So they have to go.
00:15:08.680 They have to uproot their lives and move halfway across the world, leaving half of their family in the United States.
00:15:14.140 What's interesting about this is, back when the Trump administration tried to end the Obama-era DACA policy,
00:15:23.020 courts ruled that Trump didn't have the authority to do it.
00:15:25.580 Why?
00:15:25.940 Well, because they said all those illegal migrants had come to rely on Barack Obama's decision.
00:15:31.800 So even though what Barack Obama did was illegal, even though DACA was unconstitutional,
00:15:37.940 all of those illegal immigrants had to stay in the country.
00:15:40.860 They were entitled to rely on what Barack Obama promised them.
00:15:43.320 And the promise was made, and so the promise had to be kept.
00:15:46.120 That was the logic.
00:15:47.820 But apparently the Ramikas don't get that luxury, even though promises were made to them.
00:15:54.520 Maybe they should have gotten DUIs and voted Democrat if they wanted to stay here.
00:15:57.980 They probably would have changed things.
00:15:59.860 It's hard to see exactly what happens next in the Ramikas case.
00:16:02.560 Lawmakers in Congress right now are working on legislation that might let them stay in this country.
00:16:06.640 They're obviously taking this through the court system.
00:16:09.360 So this saga is far from over.
00:16:11.800 But as a sign of where things are going, the implications are pretty clear.
00:16:17.040 These people do not believe you have the right to educate your children.
00:16:20.640 They think that's their job.
00:16:22.240 Not just their job, but their right.
00:16:24.400 They have the right.
00:16:25.380 They have a right to your children.
00:16:28.940 They own your children.
00:16:31.040 That's why the Biden DOJ opened up federal counterterrorism investigations because of parents complaining at school board meetings.
00:16:37.340 It's why Joe Biden surrogate Terry McAuliffe said infamously, quote, I don't think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.
00:16:44.180 It's why California just tried to pass a law saying parents could lose custody of their kids if they don't affirm their, quote, unquote, gender identity.
00:16:52.100 And it's why now the Biden administration wants to send the Ramikas back to Germany, where they're certainly, almost certainly, going to be prosecuted, by the way.
00:17:01.800 You know, a few minutes ago I said that we're importing foreigners and anarchy from the third world.
00:17:05.820 But really it's worse than that.
00:17:06.880 We are specifically rewarding thousands of Haitians and Guatemalans and Africans who endanger their own children in their effort to cross the border, rewarding them.
00:17:15.280 And at the same time, we're exporting hardworking white Christians who care more about their children than anything else in the world.
00:17:23.000 Wrong politics, wrong race, so they have to go.
00:17:26.400 We are governed by politicians who hate children as much as they want to control them.
00:17:31.260 And whatever happens to the Ramikas, that's all very clear.
00:17:34.480 And like the Ramikas, we really have only one choice in response to this, which is to disobey.
00:17:39.680 Whatever the consequences, the alternative, surrendering our children to these scumbags, is much worse.
00:17:48.400 Now let's get to our five headlines.
00:17:55.640 People always say, happy dog, happy life.

00:18:46.200 Go to roughgreens.com slash Matt or call 844-ROUGH-700.
00:18:50.560 That's R-U-F-F-GREENS.com slash Matt or call 844-ROUGH-700 today.
00:18:55.840 I want to start with this.
00:18:56.700 I almost decided to skip it today because I wanted to do a monologue on it tomorrow and go into more detail about it.
00:19:03.600 I don't want to repeat myself, though.
00:19:05.200 I repeat myself all the time.
00:19:06.320 But I have to at least mention it today, and then tomorrow we'll really break it down extensively.
00:19:11.200 So here's the report from Fox News.
00:19:12.580 Trevor Bauer is the former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher who won the National League Cy Young Award in 2020,
00:19:18.800 and a woman who accused him of beating and sexually assaulting her in 2021 have settled their legal dispute, his attorney said on Monday.
00:19:25.200 Trevor Bauer and Lindsay Hill have settled all outstanding litigation, according to Bauer's attorneys.
00:19:30.420 Both of their respective claims have been withdrawn with prejudice.
00:19:33.300 Effective today, Mr. Bauer did not make and never has made any payments to Ms. Hill, including to resolve their litigation.
00:19:39.860 This matter now at rest, Mr. Bauer can return, can focus completely on baseball.
00:19:44.240 The 32-year-old adamantly denied the allegations against him throughout the entire process.
00:19:47.580 He was placed on administrative leave by the MLB in July 2021 after the initial allegations were made.
00:19:54.720 The woman accused Bauer of assaulting her on two different occasions at his home in Pasadena, California during what she said began as consensual sexual encounters.
00:20:03.820 Bauer maintained the encounters were consensual.
00:20:06.000 Prosecutors declined to file charges in the case.
00:20:09.360 MLB initially suspended Bauer 324 games, but the ban was reduced to 194 games by an independent arbitrator in December.
00:20:16.640 No major league team picked him up, but Bauer managed to continue his career in Japan.
00:20:22.380 Bauer sued the woman and she countersued.
00:20:24.560 Their settlement called for no exchange of money between the parties.
00:20:28.040 But part of the suit for Bauer, and as he explains in the video we're going to play,
00:20:35.960 part of the reason why he sued was for the process of discovery, so that he could obtain information that would clear his name.
00:20:42.860 And yesterday he released on his Twitter account a video with much of that information.
00:20:52.380 Videos, text messages that all came out during the process of litigation that prove, I mean,
00:21:01.200 they just prove that this was all a setup by this woman.
00:21:04.400 So let's watch some of this video.
00:21:07.220 Next victim, star pitcher for the Dodgers.
00:21:11.840 A text Lindsay Hill sent to a friend before she ever even met me.
00:21:15.060 What should I steal?
00:21:16.040 She asked another, in reference to visiting my house for the first time.
00:21:19.020 The answer?
00:21:20.200 Take his money.
00:21:21.680 So how might that work?
00:21:23.020 I'm going to his house Wednesday, she said.
00:21:24.720 I already have my hooks in.
00:21:26.160 You know how I roll.
00:21:26.960 Then, after the first time we met, net worth is 51 mil, she said.
00:21:32.220 You better secure the bag, was the response.
00:21:35.140 But how was she going to do that?
00:21:36.860 Need daddy to choke me out, she said.
00:21:39.040 Being an absolute whore to try to get in on is 51 million.
00:21:42.420 Read another text.
00:21:43.860 Then, after the second time we met, former Padres pitcher Jacob Nix told her,
00:21:47.380 you got to get this bag.
00:21:48.880 I'll give you 50,000, Lindsay replied.
00:21:51.600 Her AA sponsor asked her at one point,
00:21:53.560 Do you feel a tiny bit guilty?
00:21:55.800 Not really, she replied.
00:21:57.800 Since then, her legal team has approached me multiple times
00:22:00.020 about coming to a financial settlement.
00:22:01.820 But, as I have done since day one,
00:22:03.660 I refused to pay her even a single cent.
00:22:06.340 In August of 2021, Lindsay Hill's claims were heard in court.
00:22:09.980 And during those legal proceedings,
00:22:11.400 critical information was deliberately and unlawfully concealed from me
00:22:15.020 and my legal team.
00:22:17.100 Information like this video,
00:22:19.180 which was taken by Lindsay Hill herself
00:22:20.760 the morning after she claimed she was brutally attacked.
00:22:23.960 Emotionally traumatized and desperate to get away from me.
00:22:27.420 And now we have the metadata,
00:22:28.620 so there can be no dispute.
00:22:30.200 It was taken...
00:22:31.020 So, that, he says, is the alleged victim,
00:22:36.560 the woman that claimed to be a victim
00:22:37.900 the morning after she was raped, she claimed.
00:22:42.960 And there she is lying in bed, uninjured,
00:22:48.200 smiling and smirking into the camera,
00:22:50.980 lying next to the man that she claims assaulted her.
00:22:55.060 You know, one thing,
00:22:55.780 I'm going to play a little bit more of this video,
00:22:57.320 but one thing to keep in mind
00:22:59.820 is that a lot of credit, obviously,
00:23:03.300 goes to Trevor Bauer,
00:23:04.920 who refused, you know,
00:23:07.020 being a multimillionaire in many situations like this,
00:23:12.040 I mean, a lot of times these guys will just pay the money
00:23:14.320 to make the person go away
00:23:16.040 or come to some kind of settlement
00:23:17.160 because it's, you know,
00:23:19.880 to them they figure it's not worth the trouble.
00:23:23.260 And I guess they probably also figure
00:23:24.880 that their reputation has already been
00:23:27.080 irrevocably damaged.
00:23:29.580 And so all they can do is pay the money
00:23:31.480 and make it go away.
00:23:33.120 To his credit,
00:23:34.400 and that's, you know,
00:23:35.600 that's the wrong strategy,
00:23:37.540 but we know that that often happens.
00:23:39.940 And that's obviously what this woman was counting on.
00:23:43.500 To his credit, she didn't,
00:23:44.800 he didn't do that.
00:23:47.200 But also keep in mind that
00:23:48.800 because he's a multimillionaire,
00:23:51.620 he had the resources to go to court,
00:23:54.960 pay all the expensive lawyers.
00:23:57.340 They went through the process of discovery
00:23:59.340 they found all these text messages
00:24:01.780 and these videos
00:24:02.380 that he never would have known existed,
00:24:04.380 certainly wouldn't have had access to without that.
00:24:08.080 And now consider that,
00:24:09.580 like, the vast majority of men,
00:24:13.600 which means that
00:24:14.620 almost certainly the vast majority of men
00:24:17.540 who've been falsely accused
00:24:18.640 don't have those kinds of resources.
00:24:21.940 They can't afford to go to court
00:24:23.400 just for the discovery process
00:24:24.660 so that they can find the videos
00:24:25.800 and text messages that will clear their name.
00:24:29.340 And that's part of the tragedy
00:24:31.380 and the outrage here.
00:24:34.140 Especially because, you know,
00:24:35.620 a woman like this,
00:24:36.240 these are not criminal masterminds.
00:24:38.600 She's apparently sending text messages
00:24:40.260 laying her whole plan out,
00:24:42.340 plain as day.
00:24:45.380 But, you know,
00:24:47.020 and she would have gotten away with it.
00:24:48.900 I mean, she still has basically gotten away with it.
00:24:50.800 She has not suffered
00:24:51.760 any legal penalty whatsoever.
00:24:53.300 We'll talk about that in a second.
00:24:54.240 But she would have gotten away with it.
00:24:57.100 Even her reputation
00:24:58.000 would have remained totally intact
00:24:59.340 if she had gone after,
00:25:04.840 number one,
00:25:05.260 a guy who didn't have the wherewithal
00:25:07.080 to defend himself,
00:25:07.940 and number two,
00:25:08.800 didn't have the financial resources
00:25:11.000 to defend himself.
00:25:12.460 And most men who are targeted this way don't.
00:25:14.940 So that's one thing to keep in mind.
00:25:16.220 Let's keep watching some of this video.
00:25:17.900 ...mere minutes before she left my house
00:25:19.540 on the morning of May 16th, 2021.
00:25:21.740 Without my knowledge or consent, of course.
00:25:24.980 In it, you can see her lying in bed next to me
00:25:27.080 while I'm sleeping,
00:25:28.160 smirking at the camera
00:25:29.060 without a care in the world
00:25:30.180 or any marks on her face.
00:25:32.540 I think it paints a pretty clear picture
00:25:34.020 of what actually happened
00:25:35.060 the evening of May 15th
00:25:36.280 and why the video
00:25:37.800 was originally concealed from us.
00:25:40.620 Yeah.
00:25:41.780 After hearing the evidence available to her,
00:25:43.680 Judge Diana Gold Saltman
00:25:44.800 found that Lindsay Hill
00:25:45.580 had misled the court.
00:25:47.000 She found her claims
00:25:47.700 to be materially misleading.
00:25:49.880 She denied her request
00:25:51.600 for a domestic violence restraining order.
00:25:53.520 And she found that no sexual assault
00:25:55.800 or non-consensual conduct took place.
00:25:58.740 Now, some of you might not know
00:26:00.340 about restraining order hearings.
00:26:01.620 I know I didn't.
00:26:02.760 But I've since learned
00:26:04.580 that it's extremely rare
00:26:06.380 for a request
00:26:07.440 for a restraining order to be denied
00:26:08.940 because the standard of proof
00:26:10.300 that you need to obtain one
00:26:12.420 is extremely low.
00:26:14.020 So you can make of that what you will.
00:26:15.920 The fact is,
00:26:16.600 I was never arrested.
00:26:17.640 I was never charged with a crime.
00:26:18.800 And I won the only legal proceeding
00:26:20.220 that took place
00:26:20.840 without my side of the story
00:26:22.020 even being heard.
00:26:23.540 And most importantly,
00:26:24.760 as I've said from day one,
00:26:26.000 I never sexually assaulted Lindsay Hill
00:26:27.620 or anyone else for that matter.
00:26:29.820 So I sued her,
00:26:31.120 which prompted her to countersue me.
00:26:33.360 Quite frankly,
00:26:34.240 regardless of the outcome in court,
00:26:35.960 I've paid significantly more
00:26:37.180 in legal fees
00:26:37.760 than Lindsay Hill could ever pay me
00:26:39.900 in her entire life.
00:26:41.500 And I knew that would be the case going in.
00:26:43.360 But the lawsuit
00:26:44.280 was never about the money for me.
00:26:45.720 It was the only way for me
00:26:47.180 to obtain critical information
00:26:48.620 to clear my name.
00:26:50.280 The discovery process
00:26:51.480 in that lawsuit recently concluded.
00:26:53.040 Let me pause there.
00:26:54.060 So I know I said
00:26:54.780 I'm going to save most
00:26:56.540 of this conversation for tomorrow,
00:26:57.720 but I don't know if I can do that
00:26:59.240 because I'm just so disgusted
00:27:00.200 by this video.
00:27:01.200 First of all,
00:27:02.840 MLB owes this guy
00:27:04.420 more than an apology.
00:27:06.160 They threw him
00:27:06.740 under the bus completely.
00:27:08.800 You know,
00:27:08.920 first they suspended him,
00:27:10.440 but no other team
00:27:11.120 would pick him up.
00:27:11.800 And
00:27:13.180 they deserve to be sued
00:27:16.040 into bankruptcy for that.
00:27:17.500 And same for every media outlet
00:27:19.160 that ran with these allegations
00:27:20.440 uncritically.
00:27:23.000 There have to be
00:27:23.980 some journalistic standards here
00:27:25.520 because I know that
00:27:26.700 what usually goes
00:27:27.840 is as long as they toss in
00:27:29.060 that word allegedly,
00:27:30.460 he allegedly did this.
00:27:34.560 That's not good enough.
00:27:36.740 When you've got someone
00:27:37.900 making claims like this,
00:27:40.740 that are going to be
00:27:42.600 horrifically damaging
00:27:43.460 to somebody's reputation,
00:27:45.160 their life, everything.
00:27:46.980 And there's no evidence for it.
00:27:49.000 There's no reason to believe
00:27:50.160 that it's true.
00:27:52.100 You've been given nothing
00:27:53.340 but the word of this one random girl.
00:27:58.260 To run with that and print it,
00:28:00.960 even if you say allegedly,
00:28:02.500 he allegedly did this.
00:28:05.580 You know,
00:28:05.860 the standards need to be
00:28:07.380 much stricter than that.
00:28:08.620 And, you know,
00:28:10.480 he's being way more calm
00:28:11.860 about this to his credit
00:28:13.080 than I would be.
00:28:13.820 I don't even know
00:28:14.620 how he manages
00:28:15.360 to talk about it
00:28:16.440 without like exploding
00:28:17.820 in a cloud of blind rage.
00:28:20.700 His life was ripped apart
00:28:21.920 by this lying,
00:28:24.740 manipulative,
00:28:25.700 psychopathic woman.
00:28:29.120 Allegedly,
00:28:29.860 lying,
00:28:30.420 manipulative,
00:28:31.180 psychopathic woman.
00:28:33.260 Now,
00:28:34.200 it's good that these text messages
00:28:35.740 are out though
00:28:36.460 because I think it does show
00:28:37.800 that women like this
00:28:40.660 are out there
00:28:41.300 and this is how they operate.
00:28:43.140 And most of us
00:28:43.740 already knew that,
00:28:44.640 but the illustration
00:28:45.400 is still quite powerful.
00:28:47.960 And the thing is,
00:28:48.580 it's impossible to know
00:28:49.900 exactly how many
00:28:51.360 false accuser women
00:28:52.620 there are in the world.
00:28:53.820 Just as it's impossible
00:28:54.960 to know how many
00:28:56.180 rapist men there are
00:28:57.500 in the world
00:28:57.760 or rapist women
00:28:58.540 for that matter.
00:28:59.120 You hear a lot of
00:29:01.600 these kind of breezy claims
00:29:03.120 by Me Too advocates
00:29:04.740 and feminists
00:29:05.360 and false accusations
00:29:06.480 of rape are so incredibly rare
00:29:07.940 they almost never happen.
00:29:10.180 How could you possibly know that?
00:29:11.720 The nature of a false accusation
00:29:14.000 many times
00:29:15.260 is that we don't,
00:29:16.120 we aren't going to know.
00:29:17.740 It's never going to be confirmed.
00:29:19.800 So how could you,
00:29:20.760 you can't count it.
00:29:21.680 It's like,
00:29:21.940 we cannot come up
00:29:23.080 with some quantifiable number
00:29:24.680 of X amount
00:29:26.760 of false accusations
00:29:27.620 happen in the world
00:29:28.320 every year.
00:29:29.280 It's impossible to know.
00:29:31.960 But I will say that
00:29:34.020 as far as I can tell,
00:29:35.860 there's no reason
00:29:36.600 to assume
00:29:37.480 that there are
00:29:39.480 significantly more
00:29:40.480 rapists in the world
00:29:41.680 than there are
00:29:42.280 false accusers.
00:29:43.240 There's no reason
00:29:43.780 to assume that.
00:29:45.380 That's the assumption
00:29:46.280 that people tend to make.
00:29:49.020 That there's a lot of rapists
00:29:50.240 walking around in the world
00:29:51.280 and as far as false accusers,
00:29:53.680 there's very few.
00:29:54.340 It's a very,
00:29:54.920 very rarely happens.
00:29:57.300 I don't see any reason
00:29:57.880 to assume that.
00:29:58.380 In fact,
00:29:58.580 it seems likely
00:29:59.300 that these numbers
00:29:59.840 are similar
00:30:00.400 just because
00:30:01.080 they're two sides
00:30:02.400 of the same coin.
00:30:04.780 You know,
00:30:04.980 false accusations
00:30:05.840 of rape
00:30:06.580 are kind of the,
00:30:09.100 in some cases,
00:30:10.840 the female version
00:30:11.900 of committing rape.
00:30:12.820 Of course,
00:30:13.160 women also commit
00:30:13.800 actual rape.
00:30:14.760 But the point is that
00:30:15.500 for a woman like this,
00:30:17.640 this is how
00:30:18.440 she gets her thrills.
00:30:21.840 You know,
00:30:22.100 it's how she exercises
00:30:23.540 control.
00:30:24.340 And dominance.
00:30:27.000 She probably can't
00:30:28.720 physically rape
00:30:29.600 Trevor Bauer
00:30:30.360 physically,
00:30:31.080 but she can violate him
00:30:32.460 in other ways
00:30:33.360 that are just as bad.
00:30:35.420 She can destroy
00:30:36.440 his entire life.
00:30:37.300 She can take
00:30:37.620 everything from him.
00:30:39.080 It's just as evil,
00:30:39.960 just as damaging.
00:30:41.760 Like,
00:30:41.940 if she had her way,
00:30:42.640 he wouldn't have just
00:30:43.520 been drummed out
00:30:44.720 of Major League Baseball.
00:30:46.820 He'd have been
00:30:47.280 in prison
00:30:47.960 as a rapist.
00:30:51.420 That's why
00:30:52.020 if we were a just society,
00:30:53.620 we would,
00:30:54.240 as I've been
00:30:54.920 arguing forever,
00:30:56.380 we would,
00:30:57.340 in a just insane society,
00:30:59.000 we would treat
00:30:59.540 false accusers
00:31:00.680 as sex predators.
00:31:03.220 Because that's what
00:31:04.100 they are.
00:31:04.560 I mean,
00:31:06.200 they should be
00:31:06.600 on a registry
00:31:07.320 somewhere.
00:31:08.380 Something that men
00:31:09.240 can check
00:31:09.800 before they get
00:31:11.200 into a relationship
00:31:11.860 with a woman.
00:31:13.200 If you commit
00:31:13.840 a false accusation
00:31:14.840 of rape,
00:31:15.200 you should be
00:31:15.560 on a false accuser
00:31:17.160 registry.
00:31:18.720 And every time
00:31:19.120 you move into
00:31:19.680 a neighborhood,
00:31:20.420 you should have to
00:31:20.960 knock on your neighbor's
00:31:21.860 door and let them
00:31:22.560 know that you're there.
00:31:24.440 And most importantly,
00:31:26.100 before they're in
00:31:27.440 the neighborhood
00:31:27.760 on the registry,
00:31:29.080 most importantly,
00:31:30.220 they should go to prison.
00:31:32.100 So this woman,
00:31:33.640 if she is
00:31:34.280 guilty
00:31:35.780 of
00:31:36.820 what all
00:31:38.320 evidence
00:31:39.080 points to
00:31:40.200 being the case,
00:31:41.060 then she should
00:31:42.860 be in prison
00:31:43.280 for the rest
00:31:43.700 of her life.
00:31:45.060 This should be
00:31:45.440 life imprisonment.
00:31:47.200 That to me
00:31:47.840 seems incredibly
00:31:48.440 obvious.
00:31:50.580 Because I also
00:31:51.320 think that if
00:31:51.840 you're actually
00:31:52.480 guilty of
00:31:53.220 committing rape,
00:31:53.720 you should also
00:31:54.100 go to jail
00:31:55.380 for life.
00:31:56.500 At a minimum.
00:31:57.420 I mean,
00:31:57.580 that should be
00:31:57.920 the minimum
00:31:58.840 level of punishment
00:31:59.740 for an actual
00:32:01.680 sex predator
00:32:02.400 who commits
00:32:03.560 sexual assault.
00:32:07.020 And so,
00:32:07.700 I don't even
00:32:08.500 see the
00:32:08.820 counter-argument
00:32:09.340 here.
00:32:09.600 It's just,
00:32:10.120 this is what,
00:32:10.580 this is justice.
00:32:12.580 If you
00:32:13.440 are guilty
00:32:15.580 of a false
00:32:16.020 accusation,
00:32:17.160 you are
00:32:18.320 trying to
00:32:19.520 put somebody
00:32:20.720 in prison
00:32:21.680 for a long
00:32:22.120 time.
00:32:23.420 That's what
00:32:23.920 you're trying
00:32:24.300 to do to them.
00:32:25.440 And so,
00:32:25.740 you should face
00:32:26.560 the consequence
00:32:27.220 that you were
00:32:27.920 trying to
00:32:29.360 impose on
00:32:30.100 somebody else.
00:32:32.840 It's,
00:32:33.320 I think I've
00:32:33.680 said before
00:32:34.100 that,
00:32:34.680 you know,
00:32:36.240 a false
00:32:36.760 accusation of
00:32:37.440 rape,
00:32:37.680 it's like,
00:32:37.960 it's a form
00:32:38.460 of kidnapping,
00:32:39.260 really.
00:32:39.440 It's a form
00:32:40.600 of false
00:32:41.020 imprisonment.
00:32:41.580 You're trying
00:32:41.880 to get
00:32:42.860 someone carted
00:32:43.660 away in
00:32:43.960 handcuffs and
00:32:44.720 put in a
00:32:45.080 cage on
00:32:45.880 false
00:32:46.120 pretenses.
00:32:48.060 And you're
00:32:48.560 not doing
00:32:48.980 it physically,
00:32:49.720 you're not
00:32:50.140 running,
00:32:51.060 showing up
00:32:52.240 with a van
00:32:53.180 and,
00:32:53.500 you know,
00:32:53.860 put a bag
00:32:54.600 over their
00:32:54.920 head and
00:32:55.360 taking them
00:32:55.880 away.
00:32:56.440 You're not
00:32:56.680 doing that.
00:32:57.320 You're using
00:32:57.820 manipulation
00:32:58.360 as your
00:32:59.700 method of
00:33:00.260 having somebody
00:33:00.920 falsely
00:33:01.340 imprisoned.
00:33:02.400 But of course,
00:33:02.980 the qualifier here
00:33:03.620 is that if we
00:33:04.280 were a society
00:33:04.800 that cared about
00:33:05.440 justice,
00:33:05.820 then that's what
00:33:06.300 we would do,
00:33:06.820 but we're
00:33:07.160 not.
00:33:08.160 So as far
00:33:09.180 as I know,
00:33:09.640 this woman
00:33:10.000 faces no
00:33:11.060 consequence at
00:33:11.840 all.
00:33:13.380 Nothing.
00:33:14.620 She can just
00:33:15.080 go about her
00:33:15.540 life,
00:33:16.340 which is
00:33:17.320 outrageous,
00:33:18.500 and it's
00:33:19.160 dangerous.
00:33:19.880 This is a
00:33:21.020 woman who is,
00:33:22.260 if she's guilty
00:33:22.960 of this,
00:33:23.840 a danger to
00:33:24.900 men everywhere
00:33:25.600 and should be
00:33:27.740 treated as such.
00:33:28.480 This is from
00:33:31.000 political follow-up
00:33:31.960 to a story
00:33:32.900 that we talked
00:33:33.380 about yesterday.
00:33:34.340 Representative
00:33:34.680 Jamal Bowman
00:33:35.500 is circulating
00:33:36.120 a list of
00:33:36.740 talking points
00:33:37.460 to fellow
00:33:37.920 Democrats
00:33:38.440 in a bid
00:33:38.820 to stop
00:33:39.300 the burgeoning
00:33:40.060 GOP push
00:33:40.760 to punish him
00:33:41.420 after he set
00:33:42.280 off a House
00:33:42.840 fire alarm
00:33:43.540 during Saturday's
00:33:44.420 chaotic spending
00:33:45.320 votes.
00:33:46.280 New York
00:33:46.500 Democrats press
00:33:47.160 secretary sent
00:33:47.740 a memo
00:33:48.120 on Monday
00:33:48.920 afternoon to
00:33:49.460 all House
00:33:49.940 Democratic
00:33:50.340 offices
00:33:50.720 requesting
00:33:51.120 that they
00:33:51.400 defend
00:33:51.740 Bowman
00:33:52.040 for the
00:33:52.640 flap over
00:33:53.260 the alarm,
00:33:53.880 which has
00:33:54.140 prompted a
00:33:54.540 Republican push
00:33:55.160 to sanction
00:33:55.660 him.
00:33:57.020 One suggested
00:33:58.060 response from
00:33:58.840 Bowman's office
00:33:59.500 to questions
00:34:00.080 about the
00:34:00.340 incident was
00:34:00.900 this.
00:34:02.260 This is what
00:34:03.000 his camp
00:34:03.400 was saying
00:34:04.040 people should,
00:34:06.480 his defenders
00:34:07.080 should say.
00:34:07.980 I believe
00:34:08.420 Congressman
00:34:08.780 Bowman when
00:34:09.220 he says
00:34:09.520 it was an
00:34:09.780 accident.
00:34:10.600 Republicans
00:34:10.880 need to
00:34:11.160 instead focus
00:34:11.800 their energy
00:34:12.260 on the
00:34:12.680 Nazi members
00:34:13.520 of their
00:34:14.060 party
00:34:14.440 before anything
00:34:15.340 else.
00:34:16.900 So this
00:34:17.560 is the
00:34:18.040 innovative
00:34:19.500 strategy
00:34:20.180 that the
00:34:21.100 Bowman
00:34:21.480 camp has
00:34:22.080 come up
00:34:22.480 with.
00:34:23.160 The first
00:34:23.900 ones to
00:34:24.260 ever do
00:34:24.600 it.
00:34:25.700 It's very
00:34:26.180 shocking to
00:34:27.100 hear.
00:34:27.320 But their
00:34:28.260 strategy is
00:34:28.960 in order
00:34:29.520 to change
00:34:30.000 the subject
00:34:30.640 they want
00:34:32.860 to accuse
00:34:33.280 their opponents
00:34:33.780 of being
00:34:34.220 Nazis.
00:34:35.320 Ever heard
00:34:35.820 of such
00:34:36.040 a thing?
00:34:37.980 Well,
00:34:38.700 this got
00:34:39.760 out there
00:34:40.100 and it
00:34:40.280 was reported
00:34:40.680 by Politico
00:34:41.380 and then
00:34:42.320 Bowman himself
00:34:42.980 responded and
00:34:43.700 said,
00:34:44.060 he tweeted
00:34:44.460 out this,
00:34:45.440 I just
00:34:45.680 became aware
00:34:46.260 that in
00:34:46.760 our messaging
00:34:47.320 guidance
00:34:47.800 there was
00:34:48.380 inappropriate
00:34:48.940 use of
00:34:49.560 the term
00:34:49.920 Nazi
00:34:50.360 without my
00:34:51.340 consent.
00:34:52.360 I condemn
00:34:52.900 the use
00:34:53.340 of the term
00:34:53.820 Nazi
00:34:54.360 out of its
00:34:55.340 precise
00:34:55.760 definition.
00:34:56.320 it is
00:34:57.040 important
00:34:57.360 to specify
00:34:58.000 the term
00:34:58.540 Nazi
00:34:58.900 to refer
00:34:59.600 to members
00:35:00.100 of the
00:35:00.440 Nazi
00:35:00.720 party
00:35:01.140 and neo-Nazis.
00:35:03.540 Yeah,
00:35:04.940 of course
00:35:05.160 he does.
00:35:05.980 This guy,
00:35:06.780 I mean,
00:35:07.640 ironically,
00:35:08.500 everything that's
00:35:09.120 happened since
00:35:10.000 the pulling
00:35:12.200 of the fire
00:35:12.660 alarm,
00:35:14.060 it does
00:35:15.260 kind of
00:35:15.780 support,
00:35:16.620 in a way,
00:35:17.980 his claim
00:35:18.820 that it was
00:35:19.540 all an
00:35:19.900 accident.
00:35:21.180 Because as we
00:35:21.840 talked about
00:35:22.220 yesterday,
00:35:22.680 if it was
00:35:23.140 an accident,
00:35:23.800 now we know
00:35:24.180 that he
00:35:24.400 pulled the
00:35:25.620 fire
00:35:25.740 alarm on
00:35:26.060 purpose,
00:35:26.400 that's
00:35:26.600 clear,
00:35:27.020 but he
00:35:28.980 wasn't
00:35:29.260 intentionally
00:35:29.680 trying to
00:35:30.020 set off
00:35:30.320 an alarm,
00:35:30.700 he was
00:35:30.840 trying to
00:35:31.140 get out
00:35:31.440 the door,
00:35:31.900 and he
00:35:32.120 pulled it
00:35:32.500 in a
00:35:32.680 panic.
00:35:34.200 As we
00:35:34.680 talked about
00:35:34.940 yesterday,
00:35:35.620 if that's
00:35:36.100 the case,
00:35:37.840 and I'm
00:35:38.280 willing to
00:35:38.620 entertain that
00:35:39.140 possibility,
00:35:39.700 it just
00:35:40.040 means that
00:35:41.120 he is one
00:35:41.480 of the
00:35:41.700 dumbest
00:35:42.400 adults
00:35:45.120 in the
00:35:46.000 country.
00:35:47.300 It means
00:35:48.060 that this
00:35:48.340 is someone
00:35:48.660 who is
00:35:49.120 terrifically
00:35:50.300 stupid.
00:35:50.840 and
00:35:52.900 somehow
00:35:53.740 one of
00:35:54.400 the dumbest
00:35:55.140 elected
00:35:55.640 officials
00:35:56.060 in
00:35:56.420 Congress,
00:35:56.920 which is
00:35:57.160 really sad,
00:35:57.760 I mean,
00:35:57.840 that's an
00:35:58.100 accomplishment.
00:36:00.100 And if
00:36:00.560 that's the
00:36:00.860 case,
00:36:01.280 he should
00:36:01.640 still be
00:36:02.700 kicked out
00:36:03.000 of office.
00:36:03.440 So I
00:36:03.560 don't even,
00:36:04.100 to me,
00:36:04.500 it doesn't
00:36:04.860 matter.
00:36:05.260 I don't
00:36:05.500 care why
00:36:06.480 he did
00:36:06.840 it.
00:36:07.640 This is
00:36:07.980 all some
00:36:08.440 sort of
00:36:08.940 weird plot
00:36:09.760 to delay
00:36:10.460 the vote.
00:36:11.020 This was
00:36:11.280 him trying
00:36:12.720 to get out
00:36:13.140 of the
00:36:13.300 door.
00:36:13.760 It doesn't
00:36:13.960 matter what
00:36:14.260 the reason
00:36:14.720 was.
00:36:16.040 A moment
00:36:16.480 of temporary
00:36:17.020 insanity,
00:36:17.720 whatever it
00:36:18.100 was,
00:36:18.440 you're not
00:36:19.680 fit for
00:36:20.060 office.
00:36:20.840 And
00:36:22.680 everything
00:36:22.900 that's
00:36:23.160 happened
00:36:23.580 since then,
00:36:24.340 it's so
00:36:25.320 stupid.
00:36:26.740 So first,
00:36:28.400 obviously at
00:36:29.260 his direction,
00:36:30.080 because his
00:36:30.920 camp,
00:36:31.920 you know,
00:36:32.100 his staffers
00:36:32.860 are not
00:36:33.820 going to put
00:36:34.140 out this
00:36:34.520 guidance on
00:36:35.320 their own.
00:36:36.280 So clearly
00:36:37.120 at his
00:36:37.500 direction,
00:36:38.220 they sent
00:36:39.480 out this
00:36:39.820 brilliant
00:36:40.240 guidance that,
00:36:41.240 hey,
00:36:41.320 if anyone
00:36:41.600 brings up
00:36:41.980 the fact
00:36:42.340 that Bowman
00:36:43.020 pulled the
00:36:43.360 fire alarm
00:36:43.840 and is a
00:36:44.160 moron,
00:36:44.680 just call
00:36:45.100 them Nazis.
00:36:47.520 And then
00:36:48.100 that gets
00:36:48.600 out there,
00:36:49.060 because of
00:36:49.400 course it
00:36:49.720 does.
00:36:50.840 And then
00:36:51.580 Bowman
00:36:51.840 responds by
00:36:52.500 pretending that,
00:36:53.020 oh,
00:36:53.100 I never,
00:36:53.440 I condemn,
00:36:54.720 I never would
00:36:55.140 have told
00:36:55.580 anyone to
00:36:56.020 say Nazi,
00:36:57.320 even though
00:36:57.740 he himself
00:36:58.580 is on the
00:36:59.400 record,
00:37:00.680 even recently,
00:37:02.420 personally calling
00:37:03.380 his opponents
00:37:04.000 Nazis.
00:37:04.440 as Michael
00:37:09.100 was pointed
00:37:09.680 out,
00:37:09.900 he called
00:37:10.740 him a
00:37:11.280 Nazi,
00:37:11.740 specifically.
00:37:13.200 So this
00:37:13.840 guy,
00:37:15.000 so incredibly
00:37:17.560 stupid,
00:37:18.940 every part,
00:37:19.660 from pulling
00:37:20.120 the fire
00:37:20.460 alarm to
00:37:20.860 every part
00:37:21.460 of his
00:37:21.680 response
00:37:22.100 afterwards,
00:37:23.740 an absolute
00:37:24.380 comedy of
00:37:25.220 errors.
00:37:25.640 and yet
00:37:29.680 here's
00:37:29.900 another
00:37:30.100 person
00:37:30.380 who's
00:37:30.540 going to
00:37:30.740 face
00:37:31.060 no
00:37:31.660 consequences
00:37:32.200 at all.
00:37:34.080 That's
00:37:34.380 the reality.
00:37:35.920 All right,
00:37:36.660 here's a
00:37:38.080 report from,
00:37:39.060 well,
00:37:39.300 Andy
00:37:39.560 Noe tweeted
00:37:40.100 this out,
00:37:40.740 says,
00:37:41.020 breaking,
00:37:41.420 leftist
00:37:41.800 journalist and
00:37:42.320 activist Josh
00:37:43.100 Kruger has
00:37:44.240 been tragically
00:37:45.100 shot dead at his
00:37:45.980 Philadelphia home.
00:37:46.980 Kruger has
00:37:47.380 long downplayed
00:37:48.340 gun violence in
00:37:48.960 his city and
00:37:50.040 publicly chastised
00:37:51.100 others who
00:37:51.740 spoke about
00:37:52.260 it.
00:37:53.420 So that's
00:37:54.100 the story.
00:37:55.320 And,
00:37:55.760 you know,
00:37:56.340 it was going
00:37:56.620 viral last
00:37:57.300 night that
00:37:57.720 this guy,
00:37:58.240 who I'd never
00:37:58.740 heard of,
00:37:59.240 but Josh
00:37:59.640 Kruger is
00:38:00.060 his name,
00:38:00.840 and he was
00:38:01.120 a local
00:38:01.440 journalist,
00:38:02.000 he's a
00:38:02.220 leftist,
00:38:02.700 kind of a,
00:38:03.220 certainly a
00:38:03.720 leftist,
00:38:04.260 an activist,
00:38:05.780 and,
00:38:06.180 but what
00:38:07.660 makes this
00:38:08.240 kind of
00:38:08.560 morbidly
00:38:09.140 ironic is
00:38:10.460 that he's
00:38:11.480 on the
00:38:11.740 record many
00:38:12.320 times
00:38:13.080 downplaying
00:38:14.560 the violence
00:38:15.060 in his
00:38:15.340 own city,
00:38:15.900 saying it's
00:38:16.220 not a big
00:38:16.540 deal.
00:38:16.720 So here
00:38:16.960 are just
00:38:17.200 some of
00:38:17.540 the tweets
00:38:17.900 that this
00:38:18.220 guy sent
00:38:18.680 out previously.
00:38:21.520 He says,
00:38:22.240 look,
00:38:22.420 it's that
00:38:22.800 lawless
00:38:23.240 land of
00:38:23.700 liberals
00:38:24.000 in Philly
00:38:24.480 where
00:38:24.720 shootings
00:38:25.040 are,
00:38:26.000 dot,
00:38:26.300 dot,
00:38:26.440 dot,
00:38:26.640 dropping
00:38:27.120 to
00:38:27.340 levels
00:38:27.600 not
00:38:27.900 seen
00:38:28.140 in
00:38:28.300 years.
00:38:29.960 He said,
00:38:30.680 some idiot
00:38:31.020 just said
00:38:31.460 you're more
00:38:31.760 likely to get
00:38:32.240 shot and
00:38:32.700 killed than
00:38:33.080 die of
00:38:33.420 COVID in
00:38:33.900 Philly,
00:38:34.320 to make
00:38:34.900 some
00:38:35.140 insensitive
00:38:35.600 rhetorical
00:38:36.120 point for
00:38:36.640 his side.
00:38:37.720 Folks,
00:38:38.120 four times
00:38:38.520 as many
00:38:38.880 Philadelphians
00:38:39.520 have died
00:38:40.100 of COVID
00:38:40.540 than gunshots
00:38:41.680 this year.
00:38:42.500 I understand
00:38:42.980 math is hard,
00:38:43.820 but do
00:38:44.120 better.
00:38:45.140 Another time
00:38:45.740 he says,
00:38:46.320 bro,
00:38:46.680 speak for
00:38:47.140 your block.
00:38:47.740 Mine isn't
00:38:48.260 ruined.
00:38:49.020 The city
00:38:52.420 and landslides
00:38:53.140 doesn't mean
00:38:53.540 that Philly
00:38:53.860 is a heap
00:38:54.320 of cinders
00:38:54.820 and ashes
00:38:55.240 no matter
00:38:55.560 how much
00:38:55.920 people say
00:38:56.460 like the rest
00:38:57.260 of the country
00:38:57.700 we are dealing
00:38:58.260 with upticks
00:38:58.900 in crime.
00:38:59.960 So those
00:39:00.720 are just a few
00:39:01.280 of the tweets
00:39:01.920 that this guy
00:39:02.340 has sent out.
00:39:05.220 Not only
00:39:05.880 downplaying
00:39:06.520 the violent
00:39:06.960 crime in his
00:39:07.400 own city,
00:39:07.940 but kind of
00:39:08.340 making fun
00:39:08.860 of the people
00:39:09.360 who have
00:39:09.880 brought it up
00:39:11.280 and have
00:39:11.600 raised concerns
00:39:12.260 about it.
00:39:13.160 And now
00:39:13.820 this guy
00:39:14.300 has been shot
00:39:14.840 and killed
00:39:15.140 in his own
00:39:15.560 home.
00:39:16.020 And there's
00:39:16.300 a lot we
00:39:16.600 still don't
00:39:16.940 know about
00:39:17.420 the shooting.
00:39:18.820 We don't
00:39:19.360 know who
00:39:19.660 did it
00:39:20.100 or why.
00:39:22.420 But again,
00:39:23.520 the morbid
00:39:23.960 irony is
00:39:24.740 impossible
00:39:25.160 to miss.
00:39:26.640 To have
00:39:26.920 someone who
00:39:27.400 spent years
00:39:28.320 downplaying
00:39:28.800 violent crime
00:39:29.360 in his
00:39:29.640 city fall
00:39:30.500 victim to
00:39:31.120 it.
00:39:31.920 And the
00:39:32.160 point here
00:39:32.600 isn't to
00:39:33.300 that we're
00:39:34.080 not dunking
00:39:34.740 on the
00:39:35.000 guy.
00:39:35.660 We're not
00:39:36.120 finding any
00:39:36.680 joy in
00:39:37.120 his death.
00:39:38.460 It's
00:39:39.100 simply that
00:39:40.240 reality
00:39:42.700 asserts
00:39:43.820 itself.
00:39:44.840 And the
00:39:45.540 entire
00:39:45.960 leftist
00:39:46.460 project,
00:39:47.420 the whole
00:39:48.400 agenda,
00:39:49.600 is to
00:39:50.580 try and
00:39:51.020 change
00:39:51.440 reality
00:39:52.020 by
00:39:52.820 insisting
00:39:53.400 that it's
00:39:53.740 different
00:39:54.120 from what
00:39:54.520 it really
00:39:54.860 is.
00:39:56.400 Reality
00:39:56.960 denial
00:39:57.500 is the
00:39:58.220 core
00:39:58.520 tenet
00:39:59.000 of
00:39:59.920 leftist
00:40:00.340 ideology.
00:40:02.160 And that's
00:40:02.500 what makes
00:40:03.300 leftism
00:40:04.100 inherently
00:40:04.600 volatile
00:40:05.120 and fragile
00:40:05.960 and unsustainable
00:40:07.060 in the long
00:40:07.480 run,
00:40:07.800 is that it's
00:40:08.380 built on a
00:40:08.900 foundation of
00:40:09.560 fantasy,
00:40:10.720 of wishes
00:40:12.080 and dreams.
00:40:13.560 Which,
00:40:14.040 by the way,
00:40:14.300 is not the
00:40:14.720 same thing
00:40:15.080 as saying
00:40:15.560 that leftism
00:40:16.900 has unrealistic
00:40:17.840 goals.
00:40:18.900 Okay,
00:40:19.060 that's not
00:40:20.260 what we're
00:40:20.460 saying.
00:40:20.720 An
00:40:22.340 unrealistic
00:40:22.980 goal.
00:40:24.520 Okay,
00:40:24.680 if they were
00:40:24.940 just being
00:40:25.300 unrealistic,
00:40:26.580 unrealistic
00:40:27.000 goal would be
00:40:27.460 to say
00:40:27.740 that we
00:40:29.040 want to
00:40:29.220 put strategies
00:40:29.820 in place
00:40:30.480 that will
00:40:31.420 turn
00:40:31.820 Philadelphia
00:40:32.400 from a
00:40:33.640 zombie
00:40:33.980 wasteland
00:40:34.680 into a
00:40:35.260 livable,
00:40:35.720 thriving
00:40:35.980 city in
00:40:36.980 five years.
00:40:37.980 Let's say.
00:40:39.320 That's
00:40:39.820 unrealistic.
00:40:41.860 You look at
00:40:42.180 a city like
00:40:42.680 Philly to
00:40:43.660 try to turn
00:40:44.160 it around
00:40:44.660 and make
00:40:45.240 it into
00:40:45.500 the kind
00:40:45.860 of place
00:40:46.420 that a
00:40:47.220 sane
00:40:47.500 person would
00:40:48.080 actually want
00:40:48.600 to live
00:40:49.020 and move
00:40:49.760 their family
00:40:50.240 to.
00:40:51.140 Trying to
00:40:51.600 do that
00:40:51.840 in five
00:40:52.160 years would
00:40:52.420 be unrealistic.
00:40:53.140 So that's
00:40:53.320 an unrealistic
00:40:53.920 goal.
00:40:55.600 But leftism
00:40:56.380 doesn't rise
00:40:57.860 to the level
00:40:58.940 of unrealistic.
00:41:03.480 Unrealistic
00:41:04.080 would be
00:41:04.500 an improvement.
00:41:07.000 Instead,
00:41:07.520 it simply
00:41:07.920 denies the
00:41:08.800 existence
00:41:09.200 of the
00:41:09.740 problem
00:41:10.080 in the
00:41:10.560 first place.
00:41:11.260 they're
00:41:12.940 not coming
00:41:13.360 up with
00:41:13.840 wild,
00:41:15.020 naive,
00:41:16.400 unworkable
00:41:20.920 solutions
00:41:21.660 for problems.
00:41:23.540 I wish
00:41:24.320 they were
00:41:24.620 doing that.
00:41:25.040 That would
00:41:25.240 be better.
00:41:27.020 No,
00:41:27.420 they're just
00:41:27.800 denying that
00:41:28.340 the problems
00:41:28.760 exist.
00:41:30.300 They're not
00:41:30.880 trying to
00:41:31.160 turn Philadelphia
00:41:31.720 into a
00:41:32.560 wonderful place
00:41:33.140 in five
00:41:33.440 years.
00:41:33.840 They're simply
00:41:34.420 insisting that
00:41:35.020 Philadelphia is
00:41:35.760 already a
00:41:36.320 wonderful place.
00:41:38.380 The crime
00:41:38.900 is not an
00:41:39.380 issue.
00:41:39.600 And you
00:41:41.340 can do
00:41:41.720 that,
00:41:42.080 but the
00:41:42.280 problem is
00:41:42.920 that reality
00:41:45.500 remains what
00:41:46.580 it is.
00:41:48.880 And the
00:41:49.460 thing is that
00:41:49.860 there are
00:41:50.460 elements of
00:41:51.080 reality.
00:41:52.640 I mean,
00:41:52.800 the fundamental
00:41:53.240 elements of
00:41:53.840 reality can
00:41:54.380 never be
00:41:54.740 changed.
00:41:56.400 Fundamental
00:41:56.880 elements like
00:41:57.520 the fact that
00:41:59.660 men are not
00:42:00.760 women,
00:42:01.040 that sort of
00:42:01.360 thing,
00:42:01.940 you can never
00:42:02.360 change that.
00:42:04.220 But there
00:42:04.980 are aspects
00:42:05.920 of reality
00:42:06.500 that can be
00:42:06.980 changed.
00:42:07.640 It is a
00:42:08.240 reality right
00:42:08.980 now.
00:42:09.600 Philadelphia is
00:42:10.400 a dangerous,
00:42:11.560 horrible place.
00:42:13.460 Technically,
00:42:14.040 that can be
00:42:14.540 changed.
00:42:15.040 You can change
00:42:16.140 that reality.
00:42:17.600 But you're not
00:42:18.420 ever going to be
00:42:18.940 able to do
00:42:19.360 that if you
00:42:19.800 will not
00:42:20.240 acknowledge it
00:42:21.040 in the first
00:42:21.540 place.
00:42:24.120 And leftism
00:42:24.800 has become
00:42:25.500 so detached
00:42:26.880 from reality
00:42:27.720 at this point
00:42:28.480 that it cannot
00:42:28.980 acknowledge
00:42:29.460 anything that
00:42:29.960 is real.
00:42:32.540 But the
00:42:35.800 reality remains.
00:42:36.480 and it
00:42:37.940 will
00:42:38.280 eventually,
00:42:39.160 as I said,
00:42:40.020 reassert itself
00:42:40.980 whether you
00:42:42.300 like it or
00:42:42.660 not.
00:42:42.920 And oftentimes
00:42:43.440 it will
00:42:44.140 reassert itself.
00:42:45.700 You know,
00:42:45.840 when you deny
00:42:46.260 reality and you
00:42:46.900 deny it,
00:42:47.400 you deny it,
00:42:48.520 you are
00:42:49.740 guaranteeing
00:42:50.460 that eventually
00:42:51.860 reality will come
00:42:52.700 knocking on your
00:42:53.280 door and it
00:42:54.080 will say,
00:42:54.580 hey,
00:42:54.740 I'm still here.
00:42:55.720 This is still
00:42:56.240 real.
00:42:56.780 You can close
00:42:57.180 your eyes all
00:42:57.520 you want,
00:42:57.920 but here it
00:42:58.240 is.
00:42:59.480 You're
00:42:59.840 guaranteeing
00:43:00.240 that will
00:43:00.420 happen.
00:43:00.680 And when it
00:43:02.460 reintroduces
00:43:03.120 itself,
00:43:03.560 it's going
00:43:03.900 to be in a
00:43:04.520 way that you
00:43:05.440 really won't
00:43:05.840 like.
00:43:06.760 And it
00:43:07.260 appears that's
00:43:07.780 what happened
00:43:08.200 with this guy,
00:43:09.360 unfortunately.
00:43:11.080 Now let's get
00:43:11.700 to was Walsh
00:43:12.420 wrong.
00:43:16.540 John says,
00:43:17.640 dude,
00:43:17.840 you're so off
00:43:18.360 base.
00:43:18.800 What MAGA
00:43:19.320 would vote
00:43:19.820 for RFK
00:43:20.580 Jr.?
00:43:21.080 You're such
00:43:21.520 a Trump
00:43:22.000 hater.
00:43:22.440 It clouds
00:43:22.800 your judgment.
00:43:23.560 Okay,
00:43:23.760 well,
00:43:23.920 there's two
00:43:24.280 problems here,
00:43:24.840 John.
00:43:25.100 First of all,
00:43:25.980 I don't think
00:43:26.520 that any MAGA
00:43:28.420 would vote for
00:43:29.280 RFK Jr.
00:43:30.860 But the
00:43:31.760 issue,
00:43:32.400 John,
00:43:32.740 is that if
00:43:33.220 you want to,
00:43:33.660 we're talking
00:43:33.880 about the
00:43:34.140 general election
00:43:34.900 here.
00:43:35.220 We're not
00:43:35.380 talking about
00:43:35.740 the primary.
00:43:37.640 RFK Jr.
00:43:38.260 is not going
00:43:38.560 to be in
00:43:38.840 the primary.
00:43:39.360 He's going
00:43:39.500 to be in
00:43:39.680 the general
00:43:40.000 election if
00:43:40.400 he runs
00:43:40.700 independent,
00:43:41.220 which all
00:43:42.200 indications are
00:43:42.840 that he will.
00:43:45.560 If Trump
00:43:46.180 wants to win
00:43:46.820 the general
00:43:47.180 election,
00:43:47.760 he needs
00:43:48.180 to win
00:43:48.540 more than
00:43:49.740 the hardcore
00:43:50.480 MAGA
00:43:51.060 base.
00:43:52.060 He's already
00:43:52.440 got them.
00:43:53.620 That's locked
00:43:54.280 in.
00:43:55.060 Okay?
00:43:55.640 Like the kinds
00:43:56.300 of people,
00:43:56.940 for example,
00:43:57.340 who would go
00:43:57.840 to a Trump
00:43:58.300 rally,
00:43:58.620 you're right.
00:44:01.300 They're not
00:44:01.760 voting for
00:44:02.060 anybody else.
00:44:03.880 Period.
00:44:04.840 And so he
00:44:05.320 doesn't have to
00:44:06.320 worry about that.
00:44:06.960 Especially in a
00:44:07.520 general election,
00:44:08.060 they're not going
00:44:08.280 to vote for a
00:44:08.840 Democrat or an
00:44:09.360 independent.
00:44:10.560 He's got them.
00:44:11.380 Okay, that's
00:44:13.180 not enough.
00:44:13.820 You need more
00:44:14.400 than that.
00:44:14.820 You need more
00:44:15.640 in a general
00:44:16.160 election.
00:44:16.640 You need more
00:44:17.240 than your
00:44:18.040 core base
00:44:19.420 support.
00:44:20.820 And the issue
00:44:21.600 with someone
00:44:22.000 like RFK Jr.
00:44:23.040 is that he
00:44:23.840 would threaten
00:44:24.820 to peel away
00:44:25.860 some of those
00:44:27.220 people who are
00:44:28.160 not part of
00:44:28.700 your core base.
00:44:29.840 They might not
00:44:30.280 even like you
00:44:30.980 that much.
00:44:32.180 There might be
00:44:32.460 things about you
00:44:32.960 that they really
00:44:33.420 hate, but they
00:44:35.080 would still vote
00:44:35.740 for you because
00:44:36.480 they don't see
00:44:36.940 any other option
00:44:38.320 that is more
00:44:39.000 appealing to them.
00:44:40.620 There are a lot
00:44:41.160 of people, if the
00:44:41.980 option is Biden
00:44:42.760 or Trump, they
00:44:44.140 might not even
00:44:44.560 like Trump that
00:44:45.380 much, but they
00:44:45.920 would look at
00:44:46.420 Biden and say,
00:44:47.060 well, I can't
00:44:47.420 vote for that.
00:44:48.700 I've been living
00:44:49.260 through that for
00:44:49.780 four years.
00:44:50.180 I'm not going to
00:44:50.480 vote for him
00:44:50.820 again, so I'll
00:44:51.720 just vote for
00:44:52.200 Trump.
00:44:55.480 And that will
00:44:56.040 still happen,
00:44:56.820 even with RFK
00:44:57.980 Jr. in the race,
00:44:58.600 but the risk is
00:45:00.360 that with RFK
00:45:02.440 Jr. in there,
00:45:03.680 some of those
00:45:04.560 people who say,
00:45:05.780 I don't love
00:45:06.460 Trump, but I
00:45:06.980 really hate Biden.
00:45:08.720 Now, some of
00:45:09.280 those people are
00:45:09.620 going to say,
00:45:09.900 well, there's a
00:45:10.520 third option now,
00:45:11.300 and I'll vote for
00:45:12.120 RFK Jr.
00:45:13.200 It's more of a
00:45:14.580 protest vote or
00:45:15.360 whatever.
00:45:17.320 Most of them, I
00:45:18.000 think, are going to
00:45:18.300 be aware that he's
00:45:19.120 not really going to
00:45:19.640 win, but they're
00:45:20.140 voting for him
00:45:20.820 anyway.
00:45:22.700 And that's the
00:45:24.240 concern.
00:45:25.520 It's a very real
00:45:26.360 concern.
00:45:27.060 Nothing that I'm
00:45:27.660 saying here is
00:45:29.400 outlandish.
00:45:31.300 Okay?
00:45:32.620 RFK Jr.
00:45:34.000 himself has a
00:45:35.660 base of supporters.
00:45:36.500 He's got some
00:45:36.860 excitement around him,
00:45:37.540 not to the level of
00:45:38.280 Trump, but he's got
00:45:39.080 enough that it
00:45:39.960 could be a
00:45:40.260 problem.
00:45:41.240 And he's also,
00:45:42.100 but the biggest
00:45:42.840 issue is that
00:45:43.980 kind of his
00:45:44.480 brand, his
00:45:45.360 political brand,
00:45:46.840 is that he's
00:45:47.340 anti-establishment.
00:45:50.140 And so,
00:45:51.160 people who,
00:45:52.020 the anti-establishment
00:45:53.260 vote in general is
00:45:54.420 bigger than the
00:45:55.100 MAGA vote.
00:45:55.580 and so he's going to
00:45:59.860 peel away some of
00:46:00.920 those people who
00:46:01.580 otherwise would go
00:46:02.320 to Trump.
00:46:03.960 So that's the first
00:46:04.620 issue.
00:46:04.940 The second issue is
00:46:05.500 you say,
00:46:06.320 Trump hater clouds
00:46:07.860 your judgment.
00:46:08.660 This is not Trump
00:46:09.640 hate.
00:46:11.100 Okay, what we just
00:46:12.340 talked about,
00:46:12.800 acknowledging reality.
00:46:14.020 If you want to win
00:46:14.980 an election, you have
00:46:15.960 to acknowledge
00:46:16.440 political realities.
00:46:18.460 Denying political
00:46:19.360 realities is not a
00:46:22.840 smart thing to do
00:46:23.900 if you actually
00:46:24.840 support a candidate.
00:46:26.900 So me saying that
00:46:28.480 this is going to be
00:46:29.020 a challenge for
00:46:29.880 Trump, and I
00:46:31.040 didn't just say it's
00:46:31.500 a challenge, I
00:46:31.940 also offered a
00:46:32.620 suggestion on some
00:46:33.820 things that he could
00:46:34.420 do to navigate
00:46:36.300 around it.
00:46:37.620 Really, it's two
00:46:38.420 things.
00:46:38.740 I mean, really, it's
00:46:39.360 one thing with two
00:46:40.560 facets to it.
00:46:41.280 The big thing is
00:46:42.360 treat RFK Jr.
00:46:45.180 like an ally, be
00:46:46.980 supportive of him,
00:46:48.040 even act like you're
00:46:48.760 happy he's in the
00:46:49.340 race, and publicly
00:46:52.160 offer him a position
00:46:53.260 in your cabinet.
00:46:55.120 I think if Trump
00:46:55.660 does that, then
00:46:57.900 RFK Jr.
00:46:58.660 becomes less of a
00:46:59.400 problem for him
00:46:59.940 because Trump
00:47:00.780 becomes a place
00:47:02.340 where RFK Jr.
00:47:03.460 supporters can say,
00:47:04.360 hey, they can look
00:47:06.760 at it and say,
00:47:07.140 look, RFK is not
00:47:07.980 going to win, but
00:47:09.460 Trump is not bad
00:47:11.220 either, and they're
00:47:13.340 all on the same
00:47:13.800 team, and so I'll
00:47:14.560 go over for Trump.
00:47:18.060 So that's a
00:47:18.860 suggestion for
00:47:19.540 something that he
00:47:19.980 could do.
00:47:20.300 If he goes the
00:47:22.060 other way, if he
00:47:22.420 does what he
00:47:22.700 typically does, and
00:47:23.780 just lays into
00:47:25.500 RFK Jr., and mocks
00:47:26.980 him, and belittles
00:47:27.540 him, and does the
00:47:28.140 usual routine, I
00:47:28.960 think it's going to
00:47:29.380 backfire tremendously
00:47:30.300 in this case.
00:47:32.260 But all of this, it's
00:47:33.540 just about acknowledging
00:47:34.400 political realities.
00:47:37.140 And if you actually
00:47:39.160 want your candidate to
00:47:40.260 win, you should be
00:47:41.960 acknowledging those
00:47:42.720 realities.
00:47:44.420 Okay?
00:47:45.940 You're not being a
00:47:46.900 hater by just looking
00:47:48.280 at the political
00:47:49.160 landscape and
00:47:50.000 saying, oh, this is
00:47:50.820 what it looks like.
00:47:51.940 I don't have to
00:47:52.600 like it.
00:47:53.960 There's a lot about
00:47:54.740 the political landscape
00:47:55.420 that I don't like.
00:47:57.320 They have already
00:47:57.780 said that no matter
00:47:58.560 who is the
00:47:59.420 Republican nominee,
00:48:01.460 there just isn't
00:48:02.400 going to be a
00:48:02.840 landslide in favor of
00:48:03.960 that Republican
00:48:04.440 nominee.
00:48:05.400 It's going to be
00:48:06.000 very challenging to
00:48:06.920 beat the Democrat
00:48:07.460 just because of how
00:48:10.000 the system works
00:48:10.940 now.
00:48:11.360 And I wish that
00:48:16.580 wasn't the case.
00:48:17.520 I'm not saying it
00:48:18.340 because I like it.
00:48:19.980 There's a lot about
00:48:20.860 the culture that I
00:48:21.620 don't like.
00:48:22.960 But it still is.
00:48:25.680 And so we should
00:48:26.500 acknowledge that.
00:48:29.500 Another comment says,
00:48:30.500 after listening, I
00:48:31.520 believe that it was
00:48:33.320 clearly not
00:48:33.900 intentionally.
00:48:34.600 He thought it would
00:48:34.980 be something like a
00:48:36.000 buzzer by the door,
00:48:37.440 not the whole
00:48:38.880 building's fire alarm.
00:48:40.040 When the alarm
00:48:40.900 started, he panicked
00:48:41.960 realizing he effed up
00:48:43.080 and ran.
00:48:44.020 It's that simple.
00:48:44.960 How could he think
00:48:45.800 it's a buzzer for the
00:48:46.800 door?
00:48:47.140 It says fire on it.
00:48:49.160 Fire alarms look the
00:48:50.460 same.
00:48:51.620 They have to.
00:48:52.840 Fire alarms look the
00:48:53.480 same in every building
00:48:54.120 in the country.
00:48:56.000 Okay?
00:48:56.880 There's one, we all
00:48:58.000 know what a fire
00:48:58.480 alarm looks like.
00:49:00.760 When have you ever
00:49:01.380 seen a buzzer by the
00:49:03.100 door that looks like
00:49:04.220 a, first of all,
00:49:05.420 when have you ever
00:49:05.760 seen a buzzer by the
00:49:06.600 door that you have
00:49:06.940 to pull down?
00:49:08.620 It's not even a
00:49:09.140 button.
00:49:09.320 You have to grab
00:49:10.160 it and pull it.
00:49:12.060 And maybe you have
00:49:12.540 seen something like
00:49:13.100 that.
00:49:13.440 But I tell you one
00:49:14.100 thing, it didn't say
00:49:14.620 fire on it.
00:49:16.740 Another comment says,
00:49:17.420 I've done this exact
00:49:18.300 thing.
00:49:19.120 We have the same
00:49:20.000 sign where I work.
00:49:21.100 Everybody at work
00:49:21.820 has done it at least
00:49:22.720 once.
00:49:24.080 And it's embarrassing
00:49:25.120 every time because it
00:49:26.240 calls the police.
00:49:28.620 The sign does not say
00:49:29.720 it will call the
00:49:30.200 police, nor does it
00:49:30.920 say emergency exit
00:49:31.820 only.
00:49:32.120 It says hold for 10
00:49:33.020 seconds, the alarm will
00:49:33.900 sound, and then the
00:49:34.360 door will open.
00:49:35.160 It doesn't say the
00:49:35.720 alarm will continue to
00:49:36.460 go off until police
00:49:37.580 arrive.
00:49:38.040 The way it's worded
00:49:39.320 makes it very confusing
00:49:40.200 and everyone falls for
00:49:41.160 it at once.
00:49:41.960 Where do you work?
00:49:43.560 I need to know where
00:49:44.060 you work specifically.
00:49:44.660 I can't believe this
00:49:47.420 comment.
00:49:48.140 I don't know if I want
00:49:48.920 to believe it or I
00:49:49.460 don't.
00:49:51.220 Okay, you're telling me
00:49:52.600 you work at a place
00:49:53.500 where not only is
00:49:55.880 everyone so stupid that
00:49:57.720 they have all pulled
00:49:59.100 fire alarms accidentally,
00:50:01.000 but that it keeps
00:50:03.320 happening?
00:50:04.780 Wouldn't it only need
00:50:06.780 to happen once before
00:50:08.580 everyone in your
00:50:09.220 building understands?
00:50:10.260 I mean, really, it
00:50:10.740 shouldn't have to happen
00:50:12.040 even one time because
00:50:12.860 we all know what a fire
00:50:13.700 exit looks like, you
00:50:15.060 would think.
00:50:16.300 But let's just say you
00:50:17.220 work at a place, you
00:50:18.420 happen to work at a
00:50:19.200 place where it is the
00:50:19.960 biggest collection of
00:50:20.880 imbeciles ever assembled
00:50:22.200 in one location, which
00:50:25.900 makes me think that you
00:50:27.360 work in Congress, but the
00:50:28.540 problem is that only one
00:50:29.700 congressman has done this
00:50:30.740 as far as we know.
00:50:31.500 So let's just say you
00:50:32.020 work at a place like
00:50:32.600 that and everyone in
00:50:35.020 that you work with a
00:50:35.920 bunch of oblivious
00:50:36.860 idiots who are just
00:50:38.420 wandering around a
00:50:40.640 fire alarm.
00:50:41.240 I don't know what that
00:50:41.660 was a fire alarm.
00:50:42.360 Never heard of it.
00:50:43.440 Well, after one person
00:50:44.620 does it, wouldn't
00:50:45.560 everyone realize, oh,
00:50:46.380 well, that's what that
00:50:46.860 does.
00:50:47.540 Let's not go out that
00:50:48.300 door.
00:50:50.200 You're telling me that
00:50:51.080 everybody, it keeps
00:50:52.260 happening every day.
00:50:54.700 Another person wanders
00:50:55.700 out the fire exit.
00:50:57.660 We have to relearn this
00:50:59.600 lesson over and over
00:51:00.620 again.
00:51:02.020 What is this, like a
00:51:02.660 memento or something?
00:51:04.540 Everybody there has a
00:51:06.080 memory that only goes
00:51:07.320 back 10 seconds?
00:51:09.120 I need to know more.
00:51:11.000 You need to tell, I
00:51:11.640 need to know where
00:51:12.340 exactly you work, that
00:51:13.560 this is happening on a
00:51:14.680 regular basis.
00:51:17.220 This is actually a big
00:51:18.540 story.
00:51:19.380 I need to know more.
00:51:21.020 Faith Moore, Andrew
00:51:22.200 Claven's talented daughter,
00:51:23.520 has written a new
00:51:24.280 rendition of the age-old
00:51:25.700 Christmas classic, A
00:51:26.860 Christmas Carol, except
00:51:27.960 this time it's with a K.
00:51:29.600 It's a modern twist on the
00:51:30.680 story of Ebenezer Scrooge,
00:51:32.040 except with a female
00:51:32.780 protagonist.
00:51:33.460 In a world where boss
00:51:34.340 babes are championed at
00:51:35.660 the expense of family,
00:51:36.680 Faith is making the case
00:51:37.560 that having what matters
00:51:38.700 is far better than
00:51:39.600 having it all.
00:51:40.620 A Christmas Carol, now
00:51:42.020 available for pre-order.
00:51:43.640 You can get it now.
00:51:44.360 Order yours on Amazon or
00:51:45.540 wherever you get your
00:51:46.320 books today.
00:51:46.780 Now let's get to our
00:51:47.740 daily cancellation.
00:51:48.620 Today for our daily
00:51:56.040 cancellation, we return
00:51:57.180 sadly to the world of
00:51:58.480 plus-sized influencers.
00:52:00.400 Jalen Chaney bills
00:52:01.740 herself as a plus-sized
00:52:03.020 travel, fashion, and
00:52:04.120 lifestyle creator.
00:52:05.620 And what she creates
00:52:06.360 apparently are mostly
00:52:07.380 just vlogs where she
00:52:08.600 complains about not being
00:52:09.640 able to maneuver around
00:52:10.820 in various public spaces
00:52:11.940 because of her massive
00:52:13.360 circumference.
00:52:14.720 But this is not her
00:52:15.580 fault, of course.
00:52:16.140 It's the fault of the
00:52:16.940 rest of the world for not
00:52:18.000 including her.
00:52:19.080 The New York Post
00:52:19.600 reports, quote, a plus-size
00:52:21.160 influencer who previously
00:52:22.100 demanded airlines comp
00:52:23.400 larger passengers for
00:52:24.540 extra seats is now asking
00:52:26.400 hotels around the world to
00:52:27.840 make a number of changes to
00:52:29.040 better accommodate
00:52:29.720 overweight guests.
00:52:31.240 In a video posted to her
00:52:32.240 TikTok last month, Jalen
00:52:34.120 Chaney listed several ways
00:52:35.580 hotels can create size
00:52:37.040 inclusive amenities.
00:52:38.340 In the caption, Chaney
00:52:38.980 wrote, quote, creating a
00:52:40.420 space where every guest
00:52:41.420 feels valued and
00:52:42.200 comfortable is essential.
00:52:43.400 Size inclusive hotel
00:52:44.300 amenities are more than
00:52:45.620 just accommodations.
00:52:46.600 They're a statement of
00:52:47.260 respect for diverse needs
00:52:48.580 and body types.
00:52:50.380 So she set her sights on
00:52:51.400 the hotel industry, putting
00:52:52.360 together a tutorial to
00:52:54.080 instruct hotels on changes
00:52:55.880 they need to make to
00:52:57.160 better accommodate human
00:52:58.180 beings who have ballooned to
00:52:59.660 the size of a minivan.
00:53:01.540 Here are her tips.
00:53:03.920 I'm on a mission to
00:53:04.820 revolutionize the travel
00:53:05.860 industry and make it a more
00:53:06.780 accessible, accepting,
00:53:07.980 accommodating place for all.
00:53:09.160 The needs of plus-size
00:53:09.960 travelers matter just as much
00:53:11.200 as anybody else.
00:53:11.960 And today I'm going to cover
00:53:12.740 what we are looking for in
00:53:13.740 accessible, size-inclusive
00:53:14.780 hotel amenities.
00:53:15.840 Size-inclusive hotel
00:53:16.780 amenities are crucial for
00:53:17.880 ensuring that plus-size
00:53:18.700 travelers feel welcomed,
00:53:20.000 accommodated, and comfortable
00:53:21.220 during their stay.
00:53:22.200 We deserve an environment
00:53:23.200 that respects our needs
00:53:24.300 and body diversity.
00:53:26.160 Now, just pause there for a
00:53:27.440 second because two things.
00:53:28.400 First of all, this is what
00:53:29.760 innovation is these days.
00:53:31.200 I mean, we used to live in a
00:53:31.820 very innovative country, and
00:53:33.560 if somebody said, I'm going to
00:53:34.740 revolutionize the hotel
00:53:36.020 industry, it's because they
00:53:37.420 had some sort of invention,
00:53:40.900 some sort of business model that
00:53:42.880 they've come up with,
00:53:43.580 something very exciting, I'm
00:53:44.540 going to revolutionize the
00:53:45.640 industry.
00:53:46.500 Now, if they say they're going
00:53:48.140 to revolutionize the
00:53:48.960 industry, it's just by
00:53:49.840 complaining.
00:53:50.660 I'm going to revolutionize
00:53:51.640 the industry by complaining
00:53:52.720 about it.
00:53:53.160 That's what I'm going to do.
00:53:53.740 I'm going to complain a lot.
00:53:55.780 It's going to be
00:53:56.360 revolutionary.
00:53:58.380 She also says that she
00:53:59.080 deserves.
00:54:01.260 She deserves a place where
00:54:02.620 she feels comfortable and
00:54:03.440 all that.
00:54:04.000 Why do you deserve that
00:54:04.840 exactly?
00:54:05.880 People have gotten so used
00:54:06.700 to throwing around the word
00:54:07.660 deserved these days, but
00:54:08.920 they rarely bother
00:54:09.540 explaining where this
00:54:10.540 entitlement comes from or
00:54:12.220 how they know they have it.
00:54:14.140 Because if you deserve
00:54:15.140 something, it means that you
00:54:15.960 have earned it.
00:54:16.780 You have become worthy of it.
00:54:17.960 By definition, that's what it
00:54:18.780 means.
00:54:19.740 This is what everyone is
00:54:20.460 saying when they talk about
00:54:21.360 what they deserve, whether
00:54:22.360 they know it or not.
00:54:23.680 Which is why a good follow-up
00:54:24.920 question, anytime you hear
00:54:25.780 someone talk about what they
00:54:26.660 deserve, is simple.
00:54:28.320 What have you done to
00:54:29.980 deserve it?
00:54:32.220 You know, it's how have you
00:54:35.940 earned the thing that you're
00:54:37.060 demanding?
00:54:37.440 In the case of plus-sized
00:54:39.680 people, have you earned
00:54:41.580 special accommodations simply
00:54:43.480 by being fat?
00:54:45.280 Is being fat an accomplishment
00:54:46.920 that should be rewarded?
00:54:49.320 Obviously not, I would think.
00:54:51.500 But she disagrees.
00:54:52.420 She continues.
00:54:53.880 Number one on the list, provide
00:54:55.520 sturdy, wider chairs without
00:54:56.780 armrests in guest rooms, lobbies,
00:54:59.060 and common areas to accommodate
00:55:00.180 different body sizes and types.
00:55:02.180 Number two on the list, ensure
00:55:03.500 beds with strong support and a
00:55:04.860 higher weight capacity, along with
00:55:06.540 providing reinforced chairs and
00:55:07.960 wider backing facilities.
00:55:09.420 Number three, make elevators and
00:55:10.940 hallways spacious to allow for
00:55:12.480 easy movement of larger
00:55:13.500 individuals and those utilizing
00:55:14.780 mobility devices.
00:55:16.140 Number four, install grab bars and
00:55:17.960 showers and near toilets.
00:55:19.340 Offer adjustable handheld shower
00:55:21.080 heads and raised toilet seats for
00:55:23.020 added accessibility.
00:55:24.360 Number five, train staff to be
00:55:25.740 respectful, understanding, and
00:55:27.060 accommodating to travelers of all
00:55:28.440 sizes.
00:55:29.320 Number six, provide pool lifts and
00:55:31.140 handrails at the entry of the
00:55:32.240 pool.
00:55:32.680 This will allow for plus-size guests
00:55:34.160 and guests with different
00:55:34.860 abilities to enjoy all amenities.
00:55:36.780 Number seven, hotel restaurants
00:55:38.360 should have roomy seating options
00:55:39.720 and sturdy chairs, ensuring that
00:55:41.480 everybody can dine comfortably.
00:55:43.120 Number eight, offer larger beach
00:55:44.780 and pool seating.
00:55:45.880 Provide oversized loungers and
00:55:47.400 seating at the beach and pool
00:55:48.520 areas.
00:55:48.920 Allowing travelers of all sizes and
00:55:50.700 abilities to be comfortable.
00:55:52.320 Number nine, hotels should provide
00:55:54.120 size-inclusive bathrobes.
00:55:55.780 These should go up to a size 6X and
00:55:57.660 beyond.
00:55:58.460 And hotels should also provide
00:55:59.900 bath sheets or plus-size friendly
00:56:01.280 towels so that travelers of all
00:56:02.820 sizes and abilities can use them
00:56:04.200 comfortably.
00:56:06.040 Okay, here's my, I hear everything
00:56:08.020 you're saying, here's my
00:56:08.640 counterproposal.
00:56:09.600 My counterproposal is what if
00:56:10.900 instead of doing all those things,
00:56:12.520 we do absolutely none of them at
00:56:14.540 all.
00:56:15.380 And this is an easy answer anyway.
00:56:17.400 As much of what she's demanding is
00:56:18.960 impossible.
00:56:20.180 So let's go back to this one.
00:56:21.260 She wants the hotels to widen their
00:56:23.580 hallways.
00:56:24.180 Which means, first of all, that she is
00:56:26.020 so big that she's actually encountered
00:56:27.540 hallways that she doesn't fit inside of.
00:56:30.360 She's gotten herself wedged inside
00:56:31.940 hallways like a cat with its head stuck
00:56:34.300 in a glass jar.
00:56:35.080 And rather than this being a wake-up call
00:56:37.760 for her, rather than her saying to
00:56:39.020 herself, wow, this is a part of the
00:56:41.080 building designed for multiple full-sized
00:56:43.720 human beings to walk down at the same
00:56:45.660 time, but I don't fit in it by myself.
00:56:48.460 I must have a problem.
00:56:50.520 Rather than any of that kind of
00:56:52.140 self-introspection, she demands that the
00:56:54.920 hotels change their hallway size.
00:56:58.240 Which, by the way, would mean massive
00:57:00.260 renovations totaling in the tens of
00:57:02.140 millions or hundreds of millions of
00:57:03.740 dollars, and in some cases, they'd have
00:57:05.260 to tear down the building completely
00:57:06.600 and rebuild it from scratch.
00:57:08.960 This is the level of narcissism we're
00:57:10.880 dealing with.
00:57:11.400 Rather than bringing her own caloric
00:57:14.100 intake down somewhere below, I don't
00:57:16.840 know, 6,000 a day, she would prefer to
00:57:19.400 have entire buildings bulldozed and
00:57:22.440 rebuilt from the ground up just to
00:57:25.360 accommodate her.
00:57:27.480 She surveys the choices and says to
00:57:29.420 herself, hmm, you know, either I can
00:57:31.060 make some changes in my own life, or
00:57:33.660 everyone and everything else can be
00:57:35.580 drastically altered for my sake.
00:57:38.160 Yeah, the latter option sounds much
00:57:39.880 more reasonable.
00:57:41.320 This is egocentrism on steroids.
00:57:44.840 Apparently, her narcissism has grown
00:57:46.420 along with her waist size.
00:57:47.940 It's at the point now where they need
00:57:49.700 to remodel the building just to fit her
00:57:51.720 ego inside the building, never mind the
00:57:53.640 rest of her.
00:57:54.900 Now, you know, it's easy enough to mock
00:57:58.520 these outrageous demands, and we should
00:58:00.560 mock them, absolutely.
00:58:01.300 You know, when someone can't sit in a
00:58:03.800 normal chair without getting stuck in
00:58:05.440 it or breaking it, and then decide that
00:58:07.240 this is a flaw with the chair and not
00:58:09.440 with themselves, that's an attitude that
00:58:11.980 should be ruthlessly mocked.
00:58:14.000 But it's probably not worth dissecting in
00:58:15.680 specific detail because most people
00:58:16.920 understand how ridiculous this is.
00:58:19.020 You know, if you need a bathrobe the size
00:58:20.740 of a bedsheet, you need to shrink
00:58:23.320 yourself instead of demanding larger
00:58:25.480 bathrobes.
00:58:26.420 Most people get that, I think.
00:58:27.840 But the problem is that this attitude is
00:58:30.540 prevalent across American culture.
00:58:32.440 It has come to define American culture,
00:58:35.300 in fact.
00:58:36.360 It's not just fat people.
00:58:37.520 Everyone, especially every alleged
00:58:39.000 marginalized group, now walks through
00:58:41.080 life demanding that the world adjust
00:58:42.760 itself to them.
00:58:44.280 This is why inclusion has become the
00:58:46.240 great virtue of modern life.
00:58:48.300 Unlike actual virtue, inclusion is not
00:58:51.180 something that you do.
00:58:52.940 It's something you demand other people
00:58:54.780 do for you.
00:58:57.640 And it's not just you as yourself that
00:59:00.140 you insist must be included.
00:59:01.920 It's you along with all of your vices.
00:59:05.600 Inclusion is not just a false virtue.
00:59:07.380 It's a Trojan horse for every vice.
00:59:11.080 It is the mantra of weak, selfish people
00:59:13.660 who want the world to sacrifice everything
00:59:15.740 so that they need sacrifice nothing.
00:59:19.960 This is what body positivity and fat
00:59:22.220 acceptance is all about.
00:59:23.200 It's what modern culture is all about.
00:59:26.120 Vice made into virtue.
00:59:29.080 Sacrifice demanded of everyone so that
00:59:30.860 you don't have to make any sacrifices
00:59:32.640 yourself.
00:59:34.920 That's what it's about.
00:59:36.040 Fat people getting stuck in hallways.
00:59:37.600 It's all a mess.
00:59:39.520 And that's why the fat influencer,
00:59:41.540 Jalen Chaney, and really all,
00:59:43.920 anyone who calls himself a fat influencer,
00:59:45.840 all of them today are canceled.
00:59:49.060 And they'll do it for the show today.
00:59:49.980 Thanks for watching.
00:59:50.480 Thanks for listening.
00:59:50.900 Talk to you tomorrow.
