00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, the Kamala Harris campaign is openly encouraging women to lie
00:00:04.240 to their husbands about who they're voting for. That's the entire message of a new ad
00:00:08.100 narrated by Julie Roberts. It's perhaps the most vile political ad of all time. Also,
00:00:12.200 Joe Biden calls all Trump supporters garbage, and the media sets to work trying to convince us that
00:00:16.560 we didn't hear him say the things that we heard him say. Plus, Nikki Haley is very upset about
00:00:21.060 the Trump rally at Madison Square Garden. There's too much masculinity in the Trump campaign,
00:00:24.980 she complains. We'll talk about all that and more today on the Matt Wall Show.
00:00:30.000 My film, Am I Racist? The comedy that's now the biggest documentary of the decade is streaming
00:00:58.060 exclusively on Daily Wire+, breaking records as our biggest day one release ever. More on that
00:01:03.920 coming up, but first.
00:01:05.720 What do you feel in your body when you hear the term white people?
00:01:11.380 I feel like a cringe about Avengers Square Garden.
00:01:14.820 White, straight, cisgender, man, it's the top of the pile.
00:01:17.520 I'm on the top of the pile. It's me.
00:01:19.920 Can I just propose a toast? Raise a glass if you're racist.
00:01:23.080 It's a racist.
00:01:25.100 That was really weird.
00:01:26.780 Don't deny that you're racist. Try not to be racist, but also don't realize that you're...
00:01:30.800 Until we're willing to talk about these things, healing can't really begin.
00:01:33.640 My daughter's four years old. She's still watching Disney movies and choosing a white princess.
00:01:37.920 Have you talked to her about that?
00:01:38.860 All the time.
00:01:39.740 Is racism inherent to whiteness?
00:01:42.120 Yes.
00:01:42.540 Yep.
00:01:42.980 Yeah, probably.
00:01:43.700 Well, yeah.
00:01:44.800 Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.
00:01:48.220 Did race exist as a reality before?
00:01:50.040 We made race exist.
00:01:51.660 Does that make sense?
00:01:52.440 It does make sense.
00:01:53.620 What do you mean?
00:01:54.180 What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness.
00:01:57.740 This is more for you and less for you.
00:01:59.740 Am I racist?
00:02:01.380 Now streaming only on Daily Wire Plus.
00:02:04.180 Rated PG-13.
00:02:06.200 The question I get a lot from my audience, especially after they've seen one of my movies,
00:02:09.820 is how can I get into the conservative fight?
00:02:12.660 For starters, well, you need to be strategic about where your money is going.
00:02:16.640 Most credit cards are funneling millions to left-wing causes and candidates, hoping you don't notice.
00:02:20.500 But now you can align your spending with your values.
00:02:23.960 Coin is America's first conservative credit card.
00:02:27.160 That's C-O-I-G-N.com.
00:02:29.520 A portion of every transaction is donated to conservative causes and charities at no cost to you.
00:02:33.580 Coin empowers us to get woke out of our wallet.
00:02:36.360 And it's a good-looking credit card as well, bright red with the we, the people, on the front.
00:02:41.340 Coin works everywhere.
00:02:42.360 Visa is accepted and comes with 100% U.S.-based customer service and consumer protections.
00:02:47.160 Thousands of patriots are earning cash back while fighting the liberal agenda.
00:02:50.500 The demand for this card is so high that now there's a wait list.
00:02:53.520 This is a movement.
00:02:54.460 You've got to be a part of it.
00:02:55.380 Go to C-O-I-G-N.com.
00:02:57.240 To join the wait list, be sure to select Daily Wire in the How Did You Hear About Us section.
00:03:01.340 Terms apply.
00:03:01.940 Go to coin.com slash disclosures for full details.
00:03:06.340 One of the most agonizing sights in politics is watching Democrats trying to ape the motions of normal, everyday people.
00:03:13.520 We've talked about this a lot recently.
00:03:14.640 Tim Walz tried to play a video game, a football video game, and go hunting,
00:03:17.980 only to demonstrate that he doesn't know what a PIC-6 is or how to load his own shotgun.
00:03:22.180 Then white dudes for Kamala, led by Adam Kinzinger, went to the range for a fun day of shooting,
00:03:27.320 only to violate every single gun safety rule that exists.
00:03:30.820 They even managed to accidentally shoot a reporter who was covering the event.
00:03:34.580 He was hit by a bullet fragment off of a very predictable ricochet,
00:03:37.500 which is a story that probably should be getting more attention than it is.
00:03:40.880 And then there was Kamala Harris grabbing a casual beer with the governor of Michigan the other day,
00:03:45.640 surrounded by dozens of cameras that she pretended not to notice so that she could have a fake hot mic moment.
00:03:51.120 The whole thing looked about as phony as Elizabeth Warren's infamous beer catastrophe.
00:03:56.020 Now, Democrats struggle to emulate basic human interactions like this for a lot of reasons.
00:04:01.380 One of them is that Democrats are statists.
00:04:04.420 Maintaining interpersonal relationships, having normal interactions with one another,
00:04:08.460 isn't something that really concerns them.
00:04:10.640 Their goal is advancing the broader interests of the party.
00:04:13.820 This is an outlook that makes it extremely difficult for Democrats to relate to everyday Americans
00:04:18.360 who, unlike Democrat politicians, aren't transfixed by the idea of obtaining more political power.
00:04:25.020 It shows up everywhere in their messaging,
00:04:27.720 and they can't help but reveal how clueless and manipulative they actually are.
00:04:31.520 And that brings me to what may be the single most vile political advertisement that I've ever seen, perhaps.
00:04:40.220 This ad just came out the other day on social media,
00:04:42.840 and on paper, the idea behind this advertisement is to appeal to liberal women
00:04:48.220 who are married to conservative men.
00:04:51.040 But in just the span of 30 seconds, this ad, which was produced by the non-profit Vote Common Good,
00:04:58.480 reveals that Democrats don't understand anything about marriage or women or men.
00:05:04.580 Instead, probably without even realizing, the people who made this advertisement
00:05:07.560 were very transparent about the goal of the Democrat Party,
00:05:11.460 which is to turn families against one another.
00:05:13.980 So here's the full 30-second advertisement,
00:05:17.600 which happens to be narrated by the actress Julia Roberts.
00:05:21.660 Watch.
00:05:25.420 Your turn, honey.
00:05:27.160 In the one place in America where women still have a right to choose,
00:05:30.940 you can vote any way you want.
00:05:37.920 And no one will ever know.
00:05:42.300 Did you make the right choice?
00:05:43.980 Sure did, honey.
00:05:45.220 Remember, what happens in the booth stays in the booth.
00:05:49.120 Vote Harris-Waltz.
00:05:50.740 Vote Common Good is responsible for the contents of this ad.
00:05:55.100 Now, it's actually impressive that they managed to jam so much insanity
00:05:59.360 into one 30-second advertisement.
00:06:02.460 According to Julia Roberts,
00:06:03.980 the voting booth is the one place in America
00:06:07.060 where women still have the right to choose.
00:06:10.380 Outside of the voting booth,
00:06:11.480 women can't make any decisions for themselves.
00:06:13.640 Women are completely controlled by men 24-7 in every aspect of life,
00:06:18.240 except in the voting booth on Election Day.
00:06:21.260 That is their one precious moment of freedom.
00:06:24.120 It's not like they're free to make choices every moment of every day all the time.
00:06:28.720 No, they have no freedom to choose anything except on the ballot.
00:06:33.320 Now, if that's true, it raises the obvious question of how Julia Roberts was able to do the voiceover
00:06:39.080 for this advertisement in the first place.
00:06:41.180 What man told her to do that against her will?
00:06:44.780 Who exactly is holding Julia Roberts hostage and making her embarrass herself like this?
00:06:50.560 Surely she couldn't have made the decision to read those lines on her own.
00:06:53.900 After all, she's a woman and she's not in a voting booth.
00:06:57.160 So by the advertisement's own logic,
00:06:58.980 we can only assume that Julia Roberts is tied up in a basement somewhere,
00:07:02.600 or maybe she's being blackmailed.
00:07:05.600 The possibilities are endless, and none of them are very good.
00:07:10.140 Not to mention, if the patriarchy has successfully banned women from making any choices in life at all,
00:07:16.080 then how do women still have the right to vote?
00:07:19.280 I mean, that seems like a rather significant oversight by the patriarchy.
00:07:25.360 It's almost like the patriarchy doesn't even exist.
00:07:28.160 But aside from that, there are about a million other problems with the ad,
00:07:31.720 and you'll notice that in the ad, the conservative man has the hat with the American flag and the bald eagle.
00:07:39.460 Seems like a patriotic, friendly guy.
00:07:41.960 And his wife's hat has an American flag too,
00:07:44.680 but then we learn that the wife is only pretending to be patriotic
00:07:48.140 because her husband is abusive or whatever.
00:07:51.660 Really, she identifies more with the mysterious woman across from her who's not wearing any hat,
00:07:56.420 and the two women exchange a knowing glance,
00:07:59.320 even though the ad says that nobody will ever know who you voted for,
00:08:03.720 but in this ad, both women know who the other one voted for somehow.
00:08:08.500 Never mind that.
00:08:09.880 And then the man's wife walks away with the mysterious woman like they're going on a date or something.
00:08:13.600 So, so far, the two messages this ad is sending is that, I guess,
00:08:17.200 conservatives are patriotic and that Democrats think women have no agency whatsoever.
00:08:22.660 They're supposedly too cowardly to even speak their own minds to their own husbands
00:08:26.560 or to make their own decisions about anything.
00:08:30.640 And this particular ad is coming from a nonprofit that says it wants to appeal to evangelical and Catholic voters
00:08:36.300 because apparently evangelical and Catholic voters are in the habit of, what, lying to their spouses?
00:08:43.160 Like, this is the kind of message that, oh, yeah, if you really want to speak to Catholics and evangelicals,
00:08:48.700 encourage lying in your marriage.
00:08:51.820 That's the kind of message that Christians really find appealing.
00:08:55.580 Now, as insulting as this is, again, it would be a mistake to dismiss this ad as merely tone deaf and patronizing,
00:09:03.320 although, you know, obviously it's both of those things.
00:09:06.380 The ad is actually saying something important, which is that one of the goals of the Democrat Party
00:09:11.140 is to turn spouses against one another.
00:09:14.340 And they're saying it very explicitly.
00:09:15.620 They want women to keep secrets from their husbands and to see their husbands as some kind of threat.
00:09:23.200 Democrats are pushing this message because ultimately they want to destroy marriages and families,
00:09:27.960 which are the single greatest threat to their political power.
00:09:31.340 And a couple of days ago, you know, I talked about this effort in the context of Democrats' last-minute pitch
00:09:35.480 to win over male voters.
00:09:36.860 Michelle Obama delivered a 30-minute speech in which she repeatedly told men
00:09:40.860 that their role is to be subservient to liberal women.
00:09:44.360 And the only time she talked about improving the lives of men was when she was telling them to kill their children.
00:09:49.960 If you kill your child and destroy your family, Michelle Obama said, then you can go to college.
00:09:54.620 And then you can be a miserable, screeching activist who's loyal to the Democrats instead of your own children.
00:10:01.160 Watch.
00:10:02.420 The devastating consequences of teen pregnancy won't just be borne by young girls,
00:10:07.540 but also by the young men who are the fathers.
00:10:10.980 They, too, will have their dreams of going to college.
00:10:13.960 Their entire future is totally upended by an unwanted pregnancy.
00:10:19.120 As with everything else we hear from prominent figures in the Democrat Party,
00:10:23.800 nothing exists in isolation.
00:10:25.760 It's all part of a broader collective message.
00:10:29.960 Every single agent of the party has to push the same exact script at all times.
00:10:35.360 Michelle Obama didn't come up with her anti-family message any more than that nonprofit came up with its anti-family message.
00:10:41.120 They're all working in concert to push the same rhetoric that ultimately leads to the enactment of policies like this one in California.
00:10:49.840 Newsom has signed a bill that would ban school districts from notifying parents about a student's gender identity.
00:10:57.440 That means school districts will have to remove policies that require parents to be informed if their child identifies as transgender.
00:11:04.320 The passage of the bill comes after several districts across the state put similar notification policies in place without the student's consent.
00:11:13.000 Staff can no longer be forced to disclose a student's sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
00:11:21.320 So over the past couple of years in California, various school districts were requiring that administrators notify parents if their child starts identifying as trans.
00:11:30.620 That's a policy that obviously makes sense for a lot of reasons.
00:11:34.240 One of them is that children who think they were born in the wrong body are, you know, about a million times more likely to suffer from serious mental health conditions.
00:11:42.420 They're also almost certainly being influenced by their teachers or their peers, neither of whom care about these children.
00:11:52.020 They care about an ideology.
00:11:54.340 Parents care about their own children, which is why parents need to know.
00:11:58.100 The only people who actually care about the children in this scenario in basically every single case are their parents.
00:12:04.180 But in California, the state thinks that it knows better than the parents.
00:12:08.820 And here's just one example of how that plays out.
00:12:10.960 In 2019, a mother in California named Abigail Martinez lost her 16-year-old daughter to suicide after she says that her school and the Department of Children and Family Services pressured her daughter to transition, quote-unquote, into a boy.
00:12:24.620 Authorities placed Martinez's daughter in foster care because she wouldn't affirm her daughter's new gender identity.
00:12:31.740 She didn't see her daughter again until she deliberately sat down on some railroad tracks and was hit by a train.
00:12:39.040 So here's an excerpt of the mother's remarks where she outlines the horror that the state of California put her family through.
00:12:46.160 In 8th grade, 7th grade, by the end of 7th grade, 8th grade, she's starting to show those signs of depression.
00:12:57.940 I seek for help.
00:12:59.620 I talk to the school.
00:13:00.740 So they can keep an eye on her.
00:13:04.820 They did it at middle school when she turned, so when she started high school is when everything, the doors opened to what she was talking about,
00:13:14.580 like transgender, going to meetings, going to all the support that they think that they have for these children, which is not.
00:13:25.180 The school psychology and LGBT was told, told DCFS that my daughter will be better off out of the house.
00:13:37.700 And they did.
00:13:39.420 They did.
00:13:40.860 She, they took away my daughter when she was 16 years old.
00:13:45.260 I tried my best to get her back going to court every single month.
00:13:56.640 I've never missed a court date because I want my daughter back.
00:14:00.780 But, yes, it was my daughter who they were picking, you know, their pieces out of the tree.
00:14:09.780 Now, the tragic reality is that this woman's daughter probably would not be dead today if the state of California hadn't taken custody of her child.
00:14:22.140 And, by the way, if you watch her full remarks, you'll hear that even after her daughter committed suicide, the state still treated this mother like a criminal.
00:14:30.100 These people are ruthless in their efforts to destroy families and ruin the lives of children.
00:14:34.260 That's why California just made it a law that prevents schools from mandating these kinds of parental notifications, you know, parental notifications that would save the lives of children.
00:14:43.900 But, Gavin Newsom sees it differently.
00:14:47.080 Newsom's spokesman said, quote,
00:14:48.480 This law helps keep children safe while protecting the critical role of parents.
00:14:52.580 It protects the child-parent relationship by preventing politicians and school staff from inappropriately intervening in family matters and attempting to control if, when, and how families have deeply personal conversations.
00:15:02.460 So, if you're following the doublespeak, the state of California is protecting the child-parent relationship by making it easier for schools to hide critical information from parents about the mental state of their children.
00:15:17.060 The more secrets there are, the better.
00:15:18.980 I mean, really what they're saying is, explicitly, is that they are protecting children from their parents.
00:15:27.980 They're saying to children, you should see your parents as a threat.
00:15:32.460 This is the same message that the nonprofit was pushing in that advertisement with Julia Roberts.
00:15:38.240 Democrats want family members to treat each other with suspicion and contempt so that eventually families collapse.
00:15:46.680 It's the same reason that the Soviets encouraged people to report their relatives for wrong think.
00:15:52.260 When families are gone, the state can move in to fill that power vacuum.
00:15:56.480 This is the plan that Democrats, with the help of former celebrities like Julia Roberts, are now attempting to execute.
00:16:03.360 The problem they're having is that they're being extremely obvious about it.
00:16:07.400 At a time when trust in the Democrat Party has never been lower, they're pitching themselves as your surrogate family, basically.
00:16:14.900 It's as heavy-handed and unappealing a pitch as you can imagine, but it's what they're going with.
00:16:22.700 And in less than a week, we'll find out exactly how well that pitch works out for them.
00:16:28.540 Let's get to our five headlines.
00:16:29.640 What is a wireless company?
00:16:36.980 Well, it shouldn't be a big data company.
00:16:39.060 No, it shouldn't be a political action campaign.
00:16:40.940 And no, a wireless company shouldn't make you believe you only have two options for data, unlimited or unlimited.
00:16:46.460 And both are stupidly expensive.
00:16:48.540 A wireless company, pure and simple, should connect you to the people and things you love.
00:16:52.940 A wireless company should give you the lightning-fast 5G coverage at a lower cost than you're paying today.
00:16:57.760 And a wireless company should have an excellent customer service team base right here in America who can help make switching easy.
00:17:03.220 Essentially, all wireless companies should be like Pure Talk.
00:17:06.020 But unfortunately, they're not.
00:17:07.520 So you should switch right now.
00:17:09.260 And if you do at puretalk.com slash Walsh, you'll also get one year free of Daily Wire Plus where you can stream my new film, Am I Racist?
00:17:15.760 Where I'll be debunking yet another leftist myth.
00:17:17.720 But remember, this deal is exclusive.
00:17:19.840 The only way to get it is by going to puretalk.com slash Walsh.
00:17:22.580 Support Pure Talk, a wireless company who wants to be a wireless company and nothing more.
00:17:26.960 And here's the kicker.
00:17:27.980 They also support the same values you do.
00:17:30.060 Remember, it takes courage to stand for your values and takes even more to stand against those who try to silence you.
00:17:35.020 Puretalk.com slash Walsh.
00:17:36.780 That's puretalk.com slash Walsh.
00:17:39.460 Well, Monday, we announced that Am I Racist, the number one documentary of the decade, one of the top political documentaries of the last 20 years,
00:17:47.000 one of the top 35 documentaries of all time, is now available on Daily Wire.
00:17:54.040 You can go to dailywire.com right now as we speak and watch it.
00:17:58.520 If you use code DEI, you'll get 35% off annual memberships right now.
00:18:02.760 And lots of people did go watch the film on the Daily Wire.
00:18:05.540 In fact, it was the biggest streaming launch in the history of the company, which is pretty incredible because it means that we even beat What is a Woman,
00:18:18.340 which is a relief because I got to tell you, the specter, the ghost of What is a Woman has been hanging over me, haunting me throughout this whole process.
00:18:27.900 It's just something that I knew I had to live up to, haunted by the nightmares of being a one-hit wonder.
00:18:35.220 But it's safe to say that's not the case now.
00:18:37.080 Now I get to be a two-hit wonder, which at least is better than a one-hit wonder.
00:18:41.740 There's another exciting announcement that I can now make about the film as well.
00:18:44.960 I can tell you that the film has been submitted to the Academy for Oscar consideration in both the documentary and best picture categories.
00:18:57.900 And it's a real thing.
00:18:59.320 We really did submit it.
00:19:01.020 And, you know, we qualify as a widely released film.
00:19:06.120 And we really do deserve to win our documentary, easily the highest-grossing film in its genre, again, of the last five years, the most talked about, most successful documentary of the year.
00:19:18.460 We should at least be nominated in the documentary category.
00:19:23.660 I mean, by all rights, we should be.
00:19:26.840 I'm not saying that I'll be shocked if we aren't nominated, but we should be.
00:19:32.540 And there have been other good documentaries this year.
00:19:34.880 There's no question about it.
00:19:35.720 But the biggest one of the year deserves to at least be nominated, I would think.
00:19:40.440 And so we submitted it.
00:19:43.060 And the official nominations have not been announced yet.
00:19:46.320 That'll happen at some point in the future.
00:19:47.520 I don't know when.
00:19:48.540 I'm not exactly sure.
00:19:49.520 But I can say at least that our submission for a nomination has been accepted.
00:19:58.100 The Academy has accepted our nomination submission.
00:20:01.160 And I would like to take this opportunity to accept the Academy's acceptance of our submission.
00:20:11.760 And that in and of itself is a great honor.
00:20:14.660 Now, it's true that they accept any film that meets the basic qualifications.
00:20:18.060 But don't let that distract you from the historic nature of this moment.
00:20:23.040 We are officially submitted to the Academy Awards.
00:20:26.060 We are officially, we could say this.
00:20:28.320 We are officially potential Oscar nominees.
00:20:34.540 And that really means something.
00:20:35.920 In fact, I told my team yesterday that as far as I see it, like what, I mean, what's really the advantage of winning an Oscar?
00:20:43.320 It's so that you can put it on the movie poster with a little flowery, you know, border and it can say Oscar.
00:20:49.000 And that's the whole advantage.
00:20:50.840 But the great thing is, like, you don't have to wait until you win to put it on the movie poster.
00:20:55.880 You don't even have to wait until you're nominated to put it on the movie poster, in my opinion.
00:20:59.540 So we did, now we have our new movie posters.
00:21:02.320 We could put that up on the screen.
00:21:04.100 I'm pretty proud of these.
00:21:06.740 As you can see, Academy Awards submitted.
00:21:09.740 Best Picture, Potential Nominee.
00:21:15.100 You can't take that from us.
00:21:17.380 You can even, I think we could even say that we are best, we are nominated to be nominees for Best Picture.
00:21:32.360 We are nominee nominees for Best Picture.
00:21:34.980 And that's all we'll probably ever be, but, you know, you got to celebrate your wins where you get them.
00:21:42.760 All right, you know, if you subscribe to the theory that Biden is actively trying to sabotage Kamala's campaign,
00:21:49.000 then the news over the last 24 hours would seem to lend even more credibility to that idea.
00:21:54.480 During a campaign call on Tuesday, right as Kamala was taking the stage at her final big rally,
00:22:01.020 Joe Biden took the opportunity to call all Trump supporters garbage.
00:22:06.880 Let's listen.
00:22:08.760 For Puerto Rico, where I'm in my home state of Delaware, they're good, decent, honorable people.
00:22:14.420 The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.
00:22:18.040 His demonization is seen as unconscionable, and it's un-American.
00:22:22.380 The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.
00:22:29.060 That's what this hateful, senile old bastard said.
00:22:32.520 Clear as day.
00:22:34.560 Actually, remarkably clear.
00:22:36.540 I mean, that's probably the clearest he's been in three years.
00:22:40.980 You can never tell what this guy is saying anymore, but you could hear that.
00:22:45.000 Because, you know, he said it with his chest.
00:22:46.720 He meant it.
00:22:47.240 But now he's trying to spin it.
00:22:51.980 Shortly after that clip went out, Biden tweeted, or somebody tweeted from Biden's account,
00:22:56.880 trying to convince us that we didn't all hear what we all just heard.
00:23:00.900 So here was the tweet a couple hours later.
00:23:04.260 Earlier today, I referred to the hateful rhetoric about Puerto Rico,
00:23:07.640 spewed by Trump's supporter at his Madison Square Garden rally, as garbage,
00:23:11.240 which is the only word I can think of to describe it.
00:23:13.320 His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable.
00:23:16.980 That's all I meant to say.
00:23:17.960 The comments of that rally don't reflect who we are as a nation.
00:23:23.100 So he's claiming that he was saying that the rhetoric was garbage.
00:23:27.160 In his version of events, he said Trump's supporters' rhetoric was garbage.
00:23:35.600 But that's not what he said.
00:23:39.280 I mean, we heard what he said.
00:23:40.960 It's on video.
00:23:46.580 And also, remember, he said, he said, the only garbage I see is his supporters.
00:23:54.500 The only garbage I see.
00:23:55.700 He didn't even say the only garbage I hear, which is what you would say if you were referring to rhetoric that somebody said out loud.
00:24:01.800 So his excuse, his, like, post hoc rationalization is itself garbage.
00:24:09.120 Biden is himself garbage.
00:24:11.040 I have no problem saying that.
00:24:12.380 He's a garbage human being with garbage for brains running a garbage administration.
00:24:18.220 And speaking of garbage, the media is dutifully going along with this spin.
00:24:23.480 So here's Politico.
00:24:26.140 I mean, this is like North Korea levels of state propaganda.
00:24:29.560 This is how an article in Politico retells this story.
00:24:38.840 They quote Biden, but they put an apostrophe on his supporters.
00:24:43.600 So it says, according to their version, the only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters, apostrophe S, his hatred, his demonization of Latinos.
00:24:54.620 So they're trying to make it look like Biden said that the garbage was his supporters, demonization of Latinos.
00:25:03.300 That's just simply not what he said.
00:25:05.260 It's just simply not.
00:25:06.860 We can all hear it.
00:25:10.340 MSNBC, of course, joined in the efforts to clean all this up.
00:25:13.740 Here is their segment dealing with the controversy.
00:25:17.040 And what he said was, I'll just read a little bit here from the transcript.
00:25:22.760 He says that, you know, I know Puerto Ricans from my home state of Delaware.
00:25:26.020 They're good, decent, honorable people.
00:25:27.820 The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.
00:25:31.000 His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable and un-American.
00:25:35.660 Now, some on the right have seized that comment to mean his supporters, meaning Donald Trump supporters,
00:25:41.120 meaning all Trump supporters, half the country, saying the president is calling them garbage.
00:25:46.060 The White House is saying, no, no, there's an apostrophe there.
00:25:49.540 He's talking about his supporter, meaning the comedian.
00:25:52.280 His comments are unconscionable and un-American.
00:25:55.460 That's the controversy last night.
00:25:57.660 The president took to Twitter soon after the Zoom, tried to clean it up, clarifying that he was not talking about all of the Americans.
00:26:05.440 But it is certainly, half the American public, but it is certainly a controversy that the White House and the Harris campaign dealing with today.
00:26:12.900 And as the right tries to make it, we're showing the tweet here from the president.
00:26:17.820 His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable.
00:26:20.180 The president writes, that's all I meant to say.
00:26:22.640 So the president said something, immediately tried to clarify it, Joe.
00:26:26.520 But it's certainly a story on the right who are trying to paint this to be the next basket of deplorables.
00:26:31.700 Well, of course, and Donald Trump says shocking things every day in Fox News and and all of his apologists to the Republican Party immediately go to it and brush it off.
00:26:44.000 Explain it away or just completely ignore it here.
00:26:47.000 They're trying to make a firestorm out of something that, again, if you look at it, you look at what he said immediately afterward, which Donald Trump didn't say.
00:26:57.060 He immediately afterwards said, no, that's not what I meant.
00:27:00.640 I was talking about the comedian and and people that supported that.
00:27:03.440 So it's strange.
00:27:05.400 You notice something, something very strange about this news segment is they didn't play the clip.
00:27:12.340 It's like a 15 second clip.
00:27:15.340 So they did a whole report and conversation about something Biden said on camera and they didn't play it.
00:27:24.140 Instead, they described it.
00:27:25.920 They described what he said, but they didn't just play what he said for the audience.
00:27:32.980 Very interesting, isn't it?
00:27:35.760 Because it's clear what he actually said.
00:27:37.420 And this is the difference between Trump and his opponents.
00:27:40.160 It's maybe the key difference of all the many differences.
00:27:43.000 This is maybe maybe the key difference.
00:27:46.080 There's so much incessant discussion about Trump's rhetoric, his insensitive language, his crass comments, et cetera, et cetera.
00:27:52.040 Which, by the way, and we just heard from Joe Scarborough that Trump says shocking things all the time.
00:27:59.120 When's the last time he even said anything shocking?
00:28:03.100 You know, I mean, even by there, it's hard to shock me with.
00:28:05.960 But even by the standards of Joe Scarborough, like Trump actually has not said anything really all that controversial or outlandish or edgy this time around.
00:28:21.580 We know there was plenty of that in 2016, but really this time, I mean, all this whole controversy over the Puerto Rico joke.
00:28:31.640 Trump didn't say that.
00:28:36.680 So, you know, and that's an interesting thing about the whole story of this campaign is that Trump has been remarkably restrained, in fact.
00:28:48.240 But regardless, all this conversation about Trump's rhetoric, the truth is that Trump reserves, you know, if he does use harsh language or harsh rhetoric, which he does, he reserves all of that kind of language for the elites, for the powerful people who oppose him, for his political opponents, his enemies in the media.
00:29:15.360 He never expresses any contempt for the American people, even the 50% of the country that hates his guts.
00:29:22.440 You never hear him say anything demeaning about those people, about the voters.
00:29:30.040 When's the last time Trump insulted, you know, Joe Biden's voters or Kamala Harris's voters?
00:29:36.560 He doesn't. He just never does.
00:29:39.600 And, you know, the difference between Trump and Democrat politicians is this.
00:29:45.360 That Trump reserves all of his contempt for the elites, for the powerful people, and Democrat politicians, on the other hand, direct their ire at Trump, yes, but also at average American citizens, his supporters.
00:29:59.080 I mean, they've just spent the last several days calling everybody who went to that rally a Nazi.
00:30:03.800 And this is just a perfect example of that.
00:30:10.300 All right, moving on.
00:30:10.860 We have another controversy over a joke this week.
00:30:14.860 Now, the Biden comment about Trump supporters being garbage, that was not a joke.
00:30:18.620 He was being very serious when he said it.
00:30:20.780 The Puerto Rico comment was a joke.
00:30:23.380 And so was this.
00:30:24.360 Here's a commentator, Ryan Jerdusky, on CNN, in a debate with Mehdi Hassan.
00:30:31.240 And Mehdi Hassan is, if you're not familiar with him, is, I mean, all you really need to know is that he's perhaps, perhaps the most, the most insufferable douchebag on all of cable news, which, I mean, obviously is really saying something.
00:30:43.780 Well, probably not the most.
00:30:44.760 That's probably Joy Reid.
00:30:46.040 And then Mehdi Hassan is right, right under her.
00:30:49.140 But Ryan Jerdusky said something to Mehdi Hassan in this exchange that we'll play that has provoked the ire of the left once again.
00:30:58.600 And they're very offended by this joke.
00:31:00.160 Let's listen to it.
00:31:02.260 If you don't want to be called Nazis, stop doing it.
00:31:04.940 You've been called an anti-Semite more than he lost his table.
00:31:09.240 And people would sit there and, no, by me, I've never called you an anti-Semite.
00:31:12.340 I mean, I'm not saying or saying.
00:31:13.420 I'm a supporter of the Palestinians, I'm used to it.
00:31:15.060 Yeah, well, I hope your beeper doesn't go off.
00:31:17.000 The thing is, is that.
00:31:18.040 Did you just say I should die?
00:31:19.280 You should not.
00:31:20.040 No, I said no.
00:31:20.880 You just said I should be killed.
00:31:21.560 No, I did not say that.
00:31:23.240 Hold on.
00:31:23.500 Did your guest just say I should be killed on live TV?
00:31:26.380 I said, I hope you are.
00:31:27.120 Guys, let me just stop.
00:31:27.960 You said you hope my beeper doesn't go off.
00:31:29.460 Guys, you stopped that right now.
00:31:31.100 Of the Palestinians.
00:31:32.000 Of the Palestinians.
00:31:32.020 Of Hamas?
00:31:32.820 Guys, let me stop.
00:31:33.820 I said, Palestinian.
00:31:34.500 Are you?
00:31:35.340 Am I what?
00:31:36.440 No, of course I'm not.
00:31:37.000 Palestinians are not.
00:31:37.700 I apologize.
00:31:38.320 Are you a racist, violent person inciting violence against me?
00:31:41.300 Ryan, Ryan.
00:31:41.940 That's disgusting.
00:31:42.420 That is completely out of pocket.
00:31:43.840 Good job, CNN.
00:31:44.500 And let's have first block say the Muslim guy should be blown up on TV.
00:31:48.640 Don't say then I apologize.
00:31:50.640 You literally refused to him.
00:31:52.780 You didn't think I said Hamas.
00:31:53.920 I said I'm supportive of Palestinian rights.
00:31:55.660 Yes, I did.
00:31:56.100 Why?
00:31:56.400 Because when you hear Palestinian, you're in Hamas.
00:31:57.100 What's funny is Rudy Giuliani said this yesterday, so you're a great guest to be here to defend
00:32:01.320 Rudy Giuliani.
00:32:01.900 All right.
00:32:02.240 I told myself I wasn't going to entertain nonsense today.
00:32:04.720 And so at this point, I can't do that.
00:32:05.640 This is what we're in now.
00:32:06.340 This is America in 2024.
00:32:07.640 Here's what I will say.
00:32:08.620 Forget the racism.
00:32:09.600 That's right.
00:32:09.960 I should die.
00:32:11.280 I didn't say that.
00:32:12.080 You should die.
00:32:12.220 You said, what does beeper mean?
00:32:13.660 Don't give me a fake ignorance.
00:32:14.320 I did not say you should die.
00:32:15.640 All right.
00:32:15.940 Guys, give me a beeper.
00:32:17.740 So I told you, insufferable douchebag.
00:32:19.880 You think I should die?
00:32:20.920 Well, first of all, he said he hopes that your beeper doesn't go off.
00:32:23.680 That's what I hope, that's what I wish Ryan Jardusky had responded.
00:32:27.620 I wish that was his rebuttal.
00:32:28.540 He said, hey, no, no.
00:32:30.240 I said, I hope it doesn't go off.
00:32:32.960 You know, I said, I'm wishing you well.
00:32:35.920 What are you talking about?
00:32:38.140 Or at least I hope it goes off when I'm not sitting at the table with you.
00:32:40.800 That's at least that.
00:32:44.420 It's a legit, I mean, it's funny.
00:32:45.740 It's a funny, it's a joke.
00:32:47.220 Again, clearly a joke.
00:32:48.840 Like, he doesn't literally think that Mehdi Hassan is a terrorist with a beeper.
00:32:54.040 Well, he might think that Mehdi Hassan is a terrorist, and he might be for all we know.
00:32:57.180 But, like, I don't think that Ryan Jardusky literally thinks that Mehdi Hassan has a beeper.
00:33:03.480 Let's put it that way.
00:33:05.580 So, it's a joke.
00:33:07.400 It's a funny joke.
00:33:08.480 It's actually, it's quick-witted.
00:33:10.260 It's a quick-witted joke.
00:33:11.260 And it doesn't even seem like Ryan came into that conversation with this joke queued up in his head.
00:33:16.740 It seems like he just said it.
00:33:18.480 He blurted it out.
00:33:19.140 That's called having a quick wit, which is something that's totally foreign, of course, to Hassan and everybody else at CNN, because they have no wit to speak of.
00:33:29.680 But you saw the reaction, you know, Mehdi Hassan's practically in tears over it.
00:33:34.140 You got the women at the table.
00:33:35.400 I can't go on.
00:33:36.520 I can't even continue after this comment was made.
00:33:40.200 And then comes the hysterical reaction after the fact.
00:33:43.520 After the break, Abby Phillip, the anchor, came on the air and, of course, had to address this horrific joke and apologize to the viewers for it.
00:33:54.660 Let's listen to that.
00:33:56.340 We're back here.
00:33:57.060 And before we get started, I want to just address what happened in the last segment.
00:34:01.000 First, I want to apologize to Mehdi Hassan for what was said at this table.
00:34:04.780 It was completely unacceptable.
00:34:06.380 When we get this discussion started, you'll see that Ryan is not at the table.
00:34:10.960 There is a line that was crossed there, and it's not acceptable to me.
00:34:15.140 It's not acceptable to us at this network.
00:34:18.120 We want discussion.
00:34:19.520 We want people who disagree with each other to talk to each other.
00:34:22.440 But when you cross the line of a complete lack of civility, that is not going to happen here on this show.
00:34:30.860 It's a heated time.
00:34:32.120 We're in the middle of a political season.
00:34:33.700 We are eight days from a presidential election.
00:34:36.080 Cross the line.
00:34:36.580 But we can have conversations about it.
00:34:38.260 Cross the line of civility.
00:34:39.600 Mehdi Hassan, in that conversation, in that clip, right before the beeper joke was made, was just calling Trump supporters Nazis.
00:34:46.780 That's how the clip begins.
00:34:47.980 So, he can call 50 million, more than 50, he can call 50%, he can call 50% of the country Nazis, and that doesn't cross a line.
00:35:00.740 But if you make a joke implying that he's a terrorist, then that crosses a line.
00:35:06.840 And so, oh, and then Abby Phillip, I think, yeah, later that night, she, after the show, because that, you know, overwrought apology there was, they condemned the comment in the moment.
00:35:25.020 And then she came back on air after the commercial break, condemned it again.
00:35:28.620 And then after the show, we got another video of Abby Phillip very seriously addressing the camera and talking about this partable joke.
00:35:38.620 Hey, I'm sure everyone has seen what happened on the show tonight.
00:35:42.120 I just wanted to address one quick thing.
00:35:44.080 As you may have seen, Ryan was asked to leave the show, and we have put out a statement saying that he's not welcome back on our air.
00:35:56.120 There is a line here on this program, and it was crossed.
00:36:00.380 All right, not welcome back, blah, blah, blah.
00:36:01.900 So, you know, aside from the hypocrisy of it, because, again, these are the people that call Trump supporters Nazis, some of what we're seeing is the left's inability to even understand the concept of a joke anymore.
00:36:18.780 And there's a certain amount of this that's phony, obviously, that they're playing dumb, but they're only partially playing dumb because they are actually dumb.
00:36:30.280 And so they just don't—I actually believe to some extent they don't—they can't even perceive the difference between, you know, the beeper comment and the Puerto Rico comment on one hand and the Trump supporters are garbage comment from the president on the other.
00:36:49.440 I do believe that these people—that their minds are so twisted that they actually cannot fully even understand the difference.
00:36:56.160 One big difference is that the Puerto Rico and beeper comment, one came from a comedian, the other came from a CNN commentator, and then over here with the garbage comment, came from the president of the United States.
00:37:08.180 That's one difference.
00:37:09.960 The other difference is that the first two examples are jokes.
00:37:13.740 And the comment from Joe Biden was not a joke.
00:37:20.460 We talk all the time about how the left has no sense of humor, and it's true in a literal sense.
00:37:26.760 Like, they don't even have any sense of what a joke is.
00:37:31.620 They cannot distinguish between a joke and, you know, a sincere statement about how somebody actually feels.
00:37:38.180 Now, I'm saying all of this kind of in defense of Ryan Jerdusky, and I do think that it was a great joke and a great comment, and I applaud him for it.
00:37:48.360 But I can't go much further than that defending him because he apologized.
00:37:55.180 And you know what my rule is with these things.
00:37:56.780 If somebody's getting canceled and they've got the pitchfork mob coming after them, you know, I would love to defend them, and I'd love to stand by their side and all of that.
00:38:11.500 But if you apologize, then I can't defend you anymore because then you're kind of pulling the rug out from under me and anyone else who defends you.
00:38:21.900 And the problem is that Ryan apologized like 10 times in the clip.
00:38:28.260 You heard him say it over and over again, which is unfortunate.
00:38:34.560 If you're going to make a joke like that, you know, stand by it.
00:38:41.320 And when everybody gets all offended about it, starts crying, just laughing their faces.
00:38:46.700 That's how you should handle it.
00:38:48.480 All right.
00:38:52.660 So this was, here's another thing that was pretty funny.
00:38:56.400 The Miami Heat decided to honor Dwayne Wade, a former NBA star who played for the Heat, with a statue right outside the stadium down in Miami.
00:39:06.740 Now, you know, it's almost always a bad idea to make a statue out of somebody who's currently living.
00:39:11.560 That's, you know, that's, that's, you usually end up regretting that, especially somebody like Dwayne Wade, who transed his child.
00:39:19.380 So he's a bad guy, undeserving of a statue.
00:39:22.680 But putting that aside, I think it's generally a bad idea to make statues to living people because we don't have the full story of that person yet.
00:39:29.520 We don't have their whole life yet.
00:39:30.800 And you should have that before you decide to make a monument out of them.
00:39:35.060 But the other problem, the much bigger problem these days with statues is that nobody knows how to build a statue anymore, it seems.
00:39:42.820 Sculpting is like the definition of a lost art.
00:39:45.960 So here's how this one turned out.
00:39:48.240 We'll play the clip of them unveiling the statue a couple days ago.
00:39:51.980 Watch.
00:39:52.200 All right.
00:40:21.700 So that's the statue.
00:40:22.760 Let's, in case you couldn't see it very well in the clip, here's a close-up.
00:40:26.720 Let's take a look at a close-up and kind of a side-by-side of the statue and Dwayne Wade's face.
00:40:35.280 You see the comparison.
00:40:37.220 Not exactly a spitting image.
00:40:40.200 It does not look like Dwayne Wade at all, actually.
00:40:42.460 To me, my first thought when I saw the statue is it looks a little bit like an evil, zombified Dan Bongino.
00:40:48.680 It's like if Dan Bongino was an extra in The Walking Dead or something.
00:40:53.460 You could argue that it looks a little bit like a really angry Lawrence Fishburne as well.
00:40:57.540 I could see that.
00:40:58.280 There's a certain angle where, to me, it looks, and this might just be me, it looks a little bit Asian, too, weirdly enough.
00:41:05.920 There's a bit of an Asian feel to it.
00:41:07.720 Like, if you put a beard and a hat on it, it could almost pass for Genghis Khan.
00:41:11.780 A Genghis Khan statue somewhere in Mongolia.
00:41:13.860 And that's what's great about the statue is that it looks like a thousand different people except Dwayne Wade.
00:41:21.280 It's a statue that looks like everybody in the world except the one guy that it's supposed to be.
00:41:26.440 So just a horrible statue.
00:41:27.880 And it's one of many statue fumbles in recent years.
00:41:30.860 We've cataloged this on the show.
00:41:32.060 So there have been some, you know, the Martin Luther King one that looks like various, you know, unseemly objects and things.
00:41:44.980 I mean, every time they unveil a new statue, it's a disaster like this because nobody knows how to make statues anymore.
00:41:50.180 And for the record, by the way, the sculptor behind this masterpiece is named Omri Amrani.
00:41:57.240 And he's come out and defended himself.
00:41:59.900 So the local media tracked him down to ask him, like, what the hell, man?
00:42:05.320 What is this?
00:42:07.120 And here was his quote.
00:42:08.000 He said, I couldn't do it any better than that.
00:42:10.940 I don't think anybody else could do better than that.
00:42:12.980 It is what it is, and we'll love it forever.
00:42:17.680 I love how he says, I couldn't do any better.
00:42:20.180 It's like, look, man, it's the best I could do, all right?
00:42:23.180 What do you want?
00:42:24.840 It's just a wild thing for a sculptor to say about a statue that's now going to stand forever outside of a basketball arena.
00:42:31.200 Best I could do, guys.
00:42:32.560 What do you want from me, okay?
00:42:34.020 You couldn't do any better, which is true.
00:42:37.560 I mean, I don't think I could make a better statue, but that's kind of a low bar to set.
00:42:41.360 And it does tell you something about the culture, that we have forgotten how to produce this kind of art.
00:42:50.880 Because, you know, sculpting is something, it's an art form that, like, not only are you producing a piece of art that will last, hopefully, for literally thousands of years, unless it gets torn down by crazed leftists before that.
00:43:07.920 But it also takes, it's like, it's a methodical process.
00:43:12.840 It takes years and years, I imagine, to sculpt something and do it well.
00:43:18.220 And so it's, I guess, no big surprise that in this culture that's not an art form that we have mastered anymore.
00:43:26.840 Well, as a proven authority on home decor, I'm here to once again tell you that your home ambiance is missing something.

00:45:05.660 Now let's get to our daily cancellation.
00:45:06.760 Nikki Haley has not been seen very much since her failed presidential bid.
00:45:17.180 She has re-emerged this week, though, to scold Trump for his Madison Square Garden rally.
00:45:22.420 Here she is on Fox News explaining why the event was problematic.
00:45:26.980 I just think that they need to focus primarily on who it is they're talking to.
00:45:32.920 You've got Americans who are absolutely going to vote for Trump.
00:45:36.820 You've got Americans who are absolutely not going to vote for Trump.
00:45:39.720 And then you've got a percentage in the middle who like Trump policies but don't like his style.
00:45:45.740 That is what they need to focus on.
00:45:48.080 So, when you look at these things, it has got to be a story of addition.
00:45:51.400 This is not a time to have anyone criticize Puerto Rico or Latinos.
00:45:56.160 This is not a time for them to get overly masculine with this bromance thing that they've got going.
00:46:01.740 53% of the electorate are women.
00:46:05.080 Women will vote.
00:46:06.520 They care about how they're being talked to and they care about the issues.
00:46:10.500 They need to remember that.
00:46:11.800 This is a time of discipline and this is a time of addition.
00:46:14.660 I think it's harmful.
00:46:15.520 I mean, look, there's no reason to have a comedian at an election campaign event that had so much energy and so many good issues.
00:46:25.180 Why have a comedian that separates people?
00:46:27.640 This isn't about people being sensitive.
00:46:29.720 I mean, Puerto Ricans, that's personal for them.
00:46:32.240 They take that personally.
00:46:33.800 So, they were right to denounce the comedian.
00:46:36.460 They need to go and tell Puerto Ricans how much, you know, they do value them.
00:46:40.380 They need to tell Latinos that.
00:46:41.700 But they also need to look at how they're talking about women.
00:46:45.400 I mean, this bromance and this masculinity stuff, I mean, it borders on edgy to the point that it's going to make women uncomfortable.
00:46:55.060 Oh, shut up, Nikki.
00:46:59.120 So, Nikki Haley says twice that the Trump campaign is too masculine.
00:47:03.780 She's worried about the bromance.
00:47:05.700 Whatever the hell that's supposed to mean.
00:47:07.280 What are you talking about?
00:47:09.560 But she says that it's going to make women uncomfortable.
00:47:11.260 It borders on edgy.
00:47:13.400 It's going to make women uncomfortable.
00:47:15.460 You'll notice that Haley has never and would never say that Kamala's campaign is too feminine and might alienate male voters.
00:47:23.380 The issue, as Haley sees it, is that there's too much masculinity in our politics.
00:47:27.460 The word too, T-O-O, is only ever put in front of the word masculine, not the word feminine.
00:47:34.840 And Nikki Haley doesn't see a problem with that.
00:47:37.260 Let me say a couple of things here.
00:47:39.040 First of all, if I go my entire life and I never again hear another person talk about all the things that allegedly make women voters uncomfortable, I will die a happy man.
00:47:53.240 Like, that's been the story of this entire campaign season.
00:47:58.020 Someone says something and then a thousand other people rush in frantically and shout, shh, don't say that.
00:48:03.820 It'll make women uncomfortable.
00:48:05.520 Think of the women voters.
00:48:07.200 Don't forget about the women voters.
00:48:08.740 Nobody is forgetting about the women voters, okay?
00:48:13.160 We're not forgetting.
00:48:13.820 Yeah, they're the only thing anyone talks about.
00:48:16.880 They are the center of every political conversation.
00:48:19.900 We get it.
00:48:20.700 We know.
00:48:22.060 They could not possibly be any more of a focus than they have been, considering that they've been basically the sole focus.
00:48:28.700 So, the message has been sent loud and clear.
00:48:32.420 We get it.
00:48:33.760 We get it, Nikki.
00:48:34.880 We understand.
00:48:36.820 Everything we say and do has to appeal to women.
00:48:39.880 It's never okay to do or say anything that might appeal more to men than to women.
00:48:45.400 Women are the center of the world.
00:48:46.760 Women are the only ones who matter.
00:48:48.180 We know.
00:48:48.840 We've heard it.
00:48:49.660 Thank you, Nikki.
00:48:50.260 Thank you for offering the same analysis that literally every cable news pundit has been droning on about for the past six months incessantly.
00:48:58.460 Very astute, as always.
00:49:01.400 Now, of course, this analysis, I have to say, despite the fact that we hear it so often, doesn't comport with the reality that I live in every day.
00:49:12.600 For one thing, as far as I can tell, men, in fact, do exist.
00:49:16.980 Men also vote.
00:49:18.460 And while there are many problems with our politics in modern America, an abundance of masculinity is most certainly not one of them.
00:49:27.900 Now, as for women voters, the Nikki Haley's of the world paint them all as these, like, hypersensitive, superficial, fickle people.
00:49:36.640 According to her, women might see, because this is what she's talking about.
00:49:40.660 And she's saying, women might see that Trump is the better candidate.
00:49:46.040 They might prefer his policies.
00:49:48.800 They might realize that Kamala will be a bad president who does harm to the country and their children's future.
00:49:53.840 And yet, according to Haley, women might vote for Kamala anyway, actively choosing a worse future for themselves and their families because they're upset by some off-color jokes.
00:50:04.620 Because they don't like his style.
00:50:09.220 Now, I don't personally know any women like that.
00:50:13.260 Nikki Haley might be stupid enough to actively choose the destruction of her own country because she's uncomfortable with Donald Trump's style and tone.
00:50:21.080 She might be so upset about a bromance that she decides to vote for a woman who she knows will further devastate the economy, obliterate the Constitution, and start World War III.
00:50:31.380 Maybe that's the way Nikki's mind operates.
00:50:33.280 I don't know.
00:50:33.680 But none of the women in my life think that way.
00:50:36.420 My wife isn't worried about Donald Trump's tone or style.
00:50:39.940 She isn't concerned about jokes or edgy rhetoric.
00:50:42.380 She's worried about the future of the country, just as I am.
00:50:45.600 And that's what's going to inform her vote.
00:50:47.260 Like, I don't think I've ever met a woman who knows that Kamala Harris will be a disaster for the country, but might vote for her anyway or refrain from voting against her because Trump's style and tone upsets her.
00:51:05.580 Like, I've met women who support Kamala Harris.
00:51:08.220 I've met women who support Donald Trump.
00:51:09.640 But this mythical in-between person who supports his policies but may not vote for him because of his personality, I'm not convinced that that voter even actually exists.
00:51:20.460 I understand this is conventional logic, conventional wisdom, is that there are millions of voters out there in this category.
00:51:29.180 I don't know.
00:51:29.660 I've never met this person.
00:51:31.640 Have you?
00:51:34.120 Now, maybe I'm wrong.
00:51:37.540 I mean, it's more than possible that I'm wrong.
00:51:40.400 Maybe my perception in this case is warped by the fact that I typically surround myself with intelligent, rational people.
00:51:48.960 And so maybe this group does exist in some number out there in reality.
00:51:52.880 Maybe there is this group of people who, again, support Donald Trump's policies but may not vote for him purely because of their stylistic differences with him and because they don't like his tone and personality.
00:52:05.120 Maybe that doesn't.
00:52:05.900 Maybe there are a bunch of people out there like that.
00:52:08.180 In that case, let me briefly address anyone who falls into that category, whether you're a woman or a man.
00:52:14.700 If you prefer Trump's policies but are actually considering not voting for him because of his supposed personality defects, all I have to say is this.
00:52:25.160 Get over yourself.
00:52:26.960 Like, grow up.
00:52:27.940 Okay?
00:52:28.120 I think you've been pandered to and babied enough.
00:52:31.980 If you still haven't snapped out of your stupor, then probably tough love is the only way to get through to you if it's possible at this point.
00:52:38.300 The future of our country is at stake.
00:52:40.700 We don't have time to worry about tone and personality and style.
00:52:44.280 Well, the only question you should be asking yourself is this.
00:52:47.980 Will the candidate that I'm voting for put in place policies that make America a safer and more prosperous country or a poorer and more dangerous country?
00:53:00.160 That is the only question that matters at this point in the game.
00:53:06.100 If you know that Kamala's policies will make America poorer and more dangerous, then you have to vote against her.
00:53:12.940 I mean, it's as simple as that.
00:53:14.900 So here's a thought experiment.
00:53:16.080 Imagine that you're on a plane, 35,000 feet in the sky, cruising out and flying over the ocean.
00:53:23.080 Then imagine the captain suddenly dies of a heart attack.
00:53:26.260 And now imagine that this is a long-haul flight and there are two co-pilots in the cockpit.
00:53:30.840 And one of them is a DEI hire who has advanced through flight school despite failing most of the tests.
00:53:37.900 She's never been a captain, plainly unqualified for the job.
00:53:41.580 Meanwhile, the other co-pilot has years of experience in the captain's seat.
00:53:46.960 He has a clear and established record of flying planes through bad weather and turbulent conditions and getting everyone to their destination safely.
00:53:54.560 You're sitting back in the cabin.
00:53:59.260 Who do you want taking over?
00:54:01.480 Which captain would you prefer?
00:54:04.060 I think the answer is pretty obvious.
00:54:05.680 Now, what if the experienced pilot, in this analogy, also had a history of making offensive comments and posting mean tweets and telling jokes that border on edgy, as Nikki Haley says?
00:54:25.140 Would you, in that case, rather take your chances with the DEI hire?
00:54:28.440 Would you risk crashing into the Atlantic Ocean just for the sake of taking a stand against the better pilot's edgy sense of humor?
00:54:36.580 Now, unless you're literally suicidal, I think you would not.
00:54:41.660 All that matters for a pilot is whether he can safely fly the plane.
00:54:46.100 Now, we know that Trump can.
00:54:47.360 He's already done it.
00:54:49.000 We know that Kamala can't do the job.
00:54:50.660 In fact, in this analogy, the last time she was a co-pilot on a plane, it crashed.
00:54:56.120 You can't put her in charge of the plane.
00:55:00.260 Like, personality isn't going to keep the thing in the sky.
00:55:03.180 Not to mention, her personality is absolutely abysmal anyway.
00:55:07.860 Like, Trump actually has a much better personality if you care about that kind of thing.
00:55:13.680 So, Kamala not only will steer us straight into the ground, but we'll have to listen to her cackling the whole way down.
00:55:18.880 So, it's the worst of all worlds.
00:55:20.040 And that is why anyone who is actually considering voting for Kamala based purely on tone and personality is today most certainly canceled.
00:55:31.500 That'll do it for the show today.
00:55:32.480 Thanks for watching.
00:55:32.980 Thanks for listening.
00:55:33.740 Talk to you tomorrow.
00:55:34.720 Have a great day.
00:55:35.580 Godspeed.
00:55:35.880 Godspeed.
00:55:42.040 Godspeed.
00:55:43.300 Godspeed.
00:55:44.840 Godspeed.
00:55:51.420 Godspeed.
00:55:52.020 Godspeed.
00:55:54.440 Godspeed.
00:55:56.820 Godspeed.
00:55:58.580 Godspeed.
00:56:01.880 Godspeed.
