The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 1573 - This Might Be The Most Orwellian Law I’ve Ever Heard Of

00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, China has increased its crackdown on Christians in the country,

00:00:03.500 but it's not just communist China that has made Christianity effectively illegal. The same thing

00:00:07.440 is happening in Western democracies across the globe. One of those democracies has just passed

00:00:11.580 a law effectively making Christian prayer illegal. We'll talk about that. Also, the stock market

00:00:16.240 bounces back as Trump pauses most of the tariffs. Chris Matthews returns to MSNBC and makes one of

00:00:20.980 the dumbest comments in the history of cable news, which is saying something. And the internet has 0.96

00:00:25.680 been very mad at me this week, even more than usual. We'll take a look at some of the outraged

00:00:29.480 comments and videos and respond to all of that. And more today on the Matt Wall Show.

00:00:32.800 Have you ever come across someone saying that capitalism is evil or something similar,

00:01:02.020 maybe in a video, online, on TV, or just talking with someone? What was your reaction if you did?

00:01:07.120 When did capitalism become such a hot-button issue anyway? Well, it seems like people

00:01:10.720 have such strong opinions about it and very little understanding of capitalism as a whole.

00:01:15.000 Luckily, if you're looking to expand your knowledge and horizons on a broad range of

00:01:18.800 topics, including subjects like capitalism, Hillsdale College is offering more than 40 free

00:01:23.880 online courses. That's right, completely free. You'll learn about the United States Constitution,

00:01:28.700 explore stories from the book of Genesis, discover the rise and fall of the Roman Republic, or even

00:01:32.840 study the history of the ancient Christian church. I do recommend watching their new course,

00:01:36.420 Understanding Capitalism. In just seven lectures, you'll learn about the role of profit and loss,

00:01:41.160 how human nature shapes our economy, and why capitalism depends on private property rights,

00:01:45.960 the rule of law, and freedom. You'll also discover why capitalism actually encourages morality

00:01:50.440 rather than undermining it, like today's varying political agendas would have you believe.

00:01:54.900 Understanding Economics and Capitalism empowers individuals and societies to make informed

00:01:59.100 decisions, evaluate policy impacts, anticipate market changes, and ultimately create more

00:02:03.720 prosperous communities. Go right now to hillsdale.edu slash walsh to enroll in this course,

00:02:16.340 Amid all the talk about tariffs with China and how they steal America's intellectual property and 0.96

00:02:21.240 establish all kinds of trade barriers with this country. You might have missed this story. It's

00:02:25.560 not about economics, but at the same time, it tells you a lot about what authoritarian countries

00:02:29.840 like China fear the most. So beginning on May 1st, China will accelerate its crackdown on religion

00:02:35.740 and Christianity in particular. Foreign missionaries will be banned from preaching unless they obtain

00:02:40.460 formal approval from the government. And according to Chinese state media, the goal of the new regulation

00:02:45.460 is to protect national security and political stability, quote unquote, by forcing people to attend official

00:02:51.160 state-run religious services with pre-approved messaging. Additionally, Chinese state media has recently

00:02:56.780 boasted about the fact that religious groups, which the government calls cult organizations, have been

00:03:01.940 increasingly shut down in China. At this point, one of the fastest ways to disappear in China is to deliver a 0.95

00:03:08.140 sermon that upsets the ruling party. Of course, this is the exact opposite of the result we were promised when the

00:03:13.840 United States normalized free trade with China several decades ago. As Bill Clinton put it, at the time,

00:03:19.000 membership in the WTO will not create a free society in China overnight or guarantee that China

00:03:23.920 will play by global rules. But over time, I believe it will move China faster and further in the right 0.96

00:03:29.740 direction. Well, that has not happened. Instead, China is now aggressively moving to crush Christians for the 0.92

00:03:37.120 simple reason that Christians believe in a higher power than their government. And we have not 1.00

00:03:43.240 introduced Western norms to China. We have not exported our values to them. Instead, despite the promises of free

00:03:50.980 trade, China has successfully exported its totalitarian impulses and its anti-Christian impulses to the West. 0.81

00:03:58.640 One by one, Western countries are adopting anti-Christian crackdowns to the point that they're making it illegal for

00:04:04.980 Christians to practice their faith. What's happening right now in New South Wales, which is a state on the east coast of

00:04:11.040 Australia, makes this very clear. Earlier this month, something called the Conversion Practices Ban Act of

00:04:18.040 2024 became law in New South Wales. This law, by its own terms, allows the authorities to arrest Christians 1.00

00:04:25.240 for praying. Now, that is not an exaggeration. That's not an overstatement. It's actually written into the

00:04:31.620 legislation. Quoting for the government of New South Wales, quote,

00:04:35.660 This again is in Australia, a Western nation, not China. Praying with someone who wants you to pray with

00:04:59.200 them could land you in jail. That's happening right now in a supposed Western democracy. In other words,

00:05:06.200 if someone who wants to pray to God, if somebody wants to pray to God to, you know, overcome his gender 0.93

00:05:12.940 dysphoria, a condition that, by definition, causes significant mental distress, then his pastor cannot pray

00:05:19.300 with him. In fact, his own family members cannot pray with him. If the police discover that any

00:05:24.880 unapproved prayers have been occurring, they can kick down the doors of the church or the family home

00:05:30.260 and haul away the violators. And then they'll spend up to five years in prison for their crime against

00:05:35.180 the state, which is the crime of praying. Just to emphasize this point, the government of New South

00:05:41.440 Wales published the single most Orwellian video you'll ever see. And no matter how many times you've

00:05:46.440 heard the word Orwellian, believe me, this qualifies. This is the government's attempt to intimidate

00:05:52.680 the millions of people who live in New South Wales with their new law that bans prayer. And

00:05:58.580 here's how this video begins. Watch this.

00:06:02.480 South Wales, all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, should feel

00:06:08.340 welcome and valued and be able to live authentically and with pride. There are those who believe that

00:06:15.060 being LGBTQA is an illness, a choice, a disorder, or a disease. They believe it can be 1.00

00:06:22.480 changed or hidden. They believe that things can be done to stop a person being LGBTQA or to

00:06:30.380 fix them. These actions might look like counselling, never-ending referrals, prayer or pastoral

00:06:37.580 conversation that is intended to change or suppress someone's gender or sexuality. Some people who

00:06:44.380 believe these things also believe that a person who has a different sexual orientation or gender

00:06:49.800 identity can't also be a person of faith. But we know these so-called conversion practices are deeply

00:06:56.640 harmful. They don't work, and they are damaging to the whole community.

00:07:01.000 By the way, of course, we have the closed captions and the sign language interpreter at the same—at the—I don't

00:07:12.420 know why you need both. You know, if you're deaf, deaf, I think that the closed captions are probably 1.00

00:07:16.380 good enough. But anyway, first of all, by the terms of this legislation, every single gender activist,

00:07:22.700 every trans activist in Australia is a criminal because they all believe without exception that 0.99

00:07:29.120 you can choose to be LGBTQA, which is apparently now the acronym. There's no other way to explain 0.96

00:07:35.900 people who ping-pong between genders at will or people who detransition. In fact, the concept of

00:07:41.680 fluidity is now dogma in the LGBT religion. Fluidity, sexual fluidity, gender fluidity means that you can

00:07:49.100 change from one's sexuality or gender to another. So if somebody identifies as a bi-gender toaster can 0.93

00:07:55.880 and then a few weeks later decides that he's really a demigender half-humanoid alpaca or whatever, 0.87

00:08:01.720 then at some point we can conclude this person has made a choice to identify one way and then the

00:08:09.180 other. And every step of the way, gender activists, according to the tenets of their ideology, have no

00:08:14.200 choice but to affirm everything. This is one of the reasons trans activists keep losing in court, 0.96

00:08:19.260 by the way. They have to admit that under their logic, so-called trans people can choose at any

00:08:25.680 time to be trans or not trans. And therefore, because trans status is malleable, again, malleable 0.59

00:08:32.420 by definition, by their definition, they're not entitled to civil rights protections, which are only

00:08:38.300 applying, which only apply to immutable, unchanging traits. Now, as the video continues, things become

00:08:44.680 even more dystopian. There's this line, for example, quote, all people should feel welcome and valued and

00:08:49.540 be able to live authentically and with pride. Yes, all people, every single one of them, should feel

00:08:55.540 valued and welcomed. They should all be able to live authentically. But this promise apparently does

00:09:01.520 not apply to Christians who believe, as all of humanity did until 15 minutes ago, that men are men and 0.74

00:09:06.260 women are women. Those Christians do not have the right to live authentically or feel welcomed. 1.00

00:09:11.460 Instead, they can go straight to prison. So here's more of the video, because again, as it goes along, 0.62

00:09:17.360 things get worse.

00:09:20.620 New South Wales now has a law against conversion practices. These practices, whether done by family

00:09:27.600 members, health professionals, or healthcare providers, disability support providers, teachers,

00:09:33.700 or faith leaders, among others, are now unlawful, because they are based on ideas that we now know

00:09:40.580 are untrue and harmful. The law says a practice is illegal if it's directed at an individual because

00:09:48.060 of their sexual orientation or gender identity to try to make them change or suppress their sexual 0.70

00:09:54.120 orientation or gender identity. It is not a conversion practice to state what a religion says about a

00:10:00.820 particular topic, provided it's not directed to changing or suppressing an individual's sexual

00:10:06.820 orientation or gender identity. There's nothing wrong or broken about LGBTQA people.

00:10:15.480 It's damaging to say that LGBTQA people should be fixed, and it's inaccurate to say they can be fixed 1.00

00:10:22.500 or healed. So it's been established in the law directly in writing. In this video, they say

00:10:29.920 specifically that these quote-unquote conversion practices include prayer. That's explicitly outlined

00:10:39.900 that prayer is a conversion practice. And then they casually establish that family members,

00:10:47.560 including a mother and father, can be incarcerated if they don't affirm their child's imagined gender

00:10:53.700 identity. In fact, if a mother or father were to simply pray that their child would overcome their

00:11:01.920 gender dysphoria, they can go to jail. If the government somehow catches wind that you were praying for 1.00

00:11:08.920 your child to not be confused anymore, you can go to jail for that. And of course, they establish all this

00:11:17.060 with this sing-songy HR lady reading the voiceover. You know, scratch an HR lady and you'll find a 1.00

00:11:21.940 power-mad despot every single time. We've talked about so-called conversion therapy before and how

00:11:26.900 efforts to ban the practice are both unconstitutional and incoherent. In this country, the Supreme Court

00:11:31.660 is about to hear a case concerning whether Colorado's ban on conversion therapy violates the First

00:11:36.600 Amendment. The problem is that bans on conversion therapy in every case are premised on the idea that

00:11:41.980 sexual orientation cannot be changed. But in the same breath, the government in New South Wales will tell you

00:11:46.060 that sex is extremely changeable. In fact, you can go to the doctor and change it tomorrow. You can 1.00

00:11:52.520 change it without going to a doctor at all. You can just wake up tomorrow and say, I'm now a man or I'm

00:11:56.240 now a woman, and that's what you are. So if you're changing your sex, then you're also changing your 0.95

00:12:02.840 sexual orientation, as I've outlined before, under their logic. A man who supposedly becomes a woman 0.54

00:12:07.320 but retains his attraction to men, let's say, so would become a lesbian in their view. 1.00

00:12:15.540 Or rather, retains a straight man who's attracted to women and then becomes a woman and is still

00:12:19.860 attracted to women, has gone from straight to lesbian in their view. This is the logical 1.00

00:12:25.400 problem with these conversion therapy bans that they simply have no answer for. It's like dividing

00:12:30.700 by zero. But now they're using this phony logic to justify throwing parents and priests in prison

00:12:36.800 for the crime of prayer. Watch.

00:12:40.620 Reports about conversion practices can be made to anti-discrimination in New South Wales.

00:12:46.560 Formal complaints may lead to conciliation between the people involved, targeted education,

00:12:52.220 or further investigation. In New South Wales, it is a crime to provide a conversion practice that

00:12:58.180 causes substantial mental or physical harm or endangers an individual's life.

00:13:02.820 This can lead to up to five years in prison.

00:13:07.440 It is also a crime to take someone outside of New South Wales for these practices,

00:13:12.700 or to engage someone from outside of New South Wales to deliver these practices to someone in

00:13:17.080 New South Wales. This can lead to up to three years in prison, a fine, or both.

00:13:22.200 Yeah, so I guess if you live in New South Wales, and let's say you enlist someone else who doesn't

00:13:34.580 live there to pray, if you live in New South Wales and you call your grandma, who lives in another

00:13:42.140 state or another country, and you say, hey, can you pray for my child, your grandson, who's

00:13:49.220 struggling with gender dysphoria, you'd go to jail for that. I mean, again, this is not me like

00:13:55.860 exaggerating, or this is not a slippery slope. Oh, that's what the law says. That's directly,

00:14:02.160 explicitly what the law says. The scope of this law is so broad that you could probably claim that

00:14:08.160 I'm violating it right now if my show was broadcast in New South Wales. If you're listening

00:14:14.900 to this show in New South Wales, is that a crime? Could you go to jail for that? Maybe.

00:14:21.260 They want Australians to snitch on each other if they get a whiff of anyone who dares to suggest that

00:14:26.360 gender ideology isn't real. And in a lot of ways, it's like the COVID lockdowns all over again.

00:14:31.140 You might remember that at the height of the pandemic, there was a nationwide manhunt in Australia

00:14:36.060 when some guy sneezed in an empty elevator without a mask on. And now they're going to have manhunts

00:14:41.640 over unauthorized prayers. If you don't believe that, consider what just happened a few weeks ago

00:14:46.780 to Billboard Chris. He was peacefully standing in a market in Brisbane wearing a sign that expresses

00:14:53.740 his opposition to the castration of children in the name of gender ideology. He only spoke to people

00:14:58.200 who spoke to him first. He didn't obstruct anyone's movement or anything like that. People were walking

00:15:03.020 around him the whole time. He did not obviously assault anyone or accost anyone in any way. There's no

00:15:08.540 dispute any of that. It's all on video. Nevertheless, Brisbane police showed up and

00:15:13.520 arrested him on camera. Watch.

00:15:15.160 So as you've been directed, I'm acting Sergeant Gilchandle from Brisbane City Police Station,

00:15:21.200 so you've been directed that you need to leave, well, stop doing what you're doing because you're

00:15:25.280 currently obstructing the mall area, which has its laws that do not permit this activity.

00:15:30.740 Okay, so we would now require you to leave the area. Okay? Are you going to leave the area?

00:15:36.500 So I've read the law, and I'm being told that I was obstructing people from their movement,

00:15:44.820 which is not true. And I'm not disturbing anyone. I stand quietly having conversations

00:15:53.280 with people who approach me, and so I don't believe I'm in violation of that.

00:15:57.780 You are obstructing people, okay? How am I obstructing people? It's been explained to you,

00:16:04.140 okay? Oh, that was a lie, but yeah. Do you want to grab your things and leave?

00:16:09.280 No, I'm not leaving. So I'm a man of integrity and truth, and it is not true that I was obstructing

00:16:16.180 anyone. And I don't think I can in good conscience yield to this act of authoritarianism when it's

00:16:26.140 based on lies, and I'm not comfortable moving.

00:16:28.440 All right, so are you not going to comply with that?

00:16:30.280 No.

00:16:30.720 No? Okay, all right. So...

00:16:32.080 We're going to head that way, then. I'm going to use reasonable force, whether I need it for

00:16:35.920 hands or not. We're going to head down that way.

00:16:37.500 Can I carry my phone with me?

00:16:38.620 That'd be great. Carry your own phone? Great.

00:16:40.540 All right.

00:16:40.800 You don't have to touch your things, and that works.

00:16:43.360 I'm being arrested.

00:16:46.240 So they arrested him for standing in a public place with a sign. There's no doubt that if the sign

00:16:51.900 had been, you know, pro-gay marriage or whatever, then none of this would have happened.

00:16:56.840 If you watch the full video, the police can't name a single other instance where they've

00:17:00.580 jailed someone for peacefully protesting at that location. But Billboard Chris blasphemed

00:17:05.440 Australia's state religion, so they took him away in handcuffs. And now they're planning to do the 0.61

00:17:09.300 same thing to clergy. The other day, an Australian commentator named Evelyn Ray outlined exactly

00:17:14.120 what's happening here. And here was her assessment, which is worth playing, not only because she's

00:17:17.860 right, but also because it's good to know that, you know, Australia hasn't been completely captured yet.

00:17:21.720 But here it is.

00:17:23.920 Look, just further to what Kel said, I don't think it's going to be too hard of a stretch

00:17:28.480 to prosecute something like this, because it's completely pending on subjectiveness,

00:17:33.640 which should never be in a court of law. It's testing whether harm it. And when it comes to,

00:17:38.300 you know, seriousness of somebody's life, all somebody has to say is, I wanted to kill myself

00:17:42.920 because somebody said, you know, and prayed over me that I wouldn't be same-sex attracted.

00:17:48.620 Boom. There you go. You've met your criteria based on the burden of proof, which they've put

00:17:52.780 in this legislation. I mean, what is this? Are we China? This is regulated religion. China, 0.83

00:17:59.420 in China, they haven't fully outlawed Christianity, but what they have done is regulate it. And that is 0.97

00:18:05.420 exactly what this is. This is straight out of China.

00:18:08.880 So everything Evelyn Ray just said also applies to many other countries. This is not a problem

00:18:14.040 that's limited to Australia. Here's a report from Reason late last year, for example. This is the

00:18:17.740 kind of story that J.D. Vance mentioned in his recent address to European leaders. Quote,

00:18:21.880 a British man was convicted of criminal charges for praying silently near an abortion clinic. The man,

00:18:26.380 Adam Smith Connor, did not attempt to harass, intimidate, or interact in any way with those

00:18:31.260 entering the clinic. Instead, he wordlessly prayed with his head bowed slightly. He was not even on

00:18:37.160 clinic property. He was outside the sight line of the clinic itself. As a result, Smith Connor was

00:18:41.840 questioned by police and later charged with violating a public spaces protection order,

00:18:46.360 a broad censorship order enabled by the 2014 Antisocial Behavior Crime and Policing Act.

00:18:51.700 Under this law, local authorities can obtain special status for some public places,

00:18:55.440 allowing them to ban a huge range of conduct in the name of limiting antisocial behavior. Close quote.

00:19:01.600 So again, this is someone who was not on clinic property, was not even talking to anyone,

00:19:08.920 was praying not even out loud, but in his head, and was arrested. Because prayer is considered

00:19:17.200 antisocial behavior in England. It's like exactly the, I mean, exactly what you would hear in communist

00:19:24.720 China. It's exactly the same argument, if you could call it that, that they make for arresting people, 0.98

00:19:32.360 Christians who pray in communist China. These kinds of arrests are happening because from Britain to

00:19:37.060 Colorado to Canada to Australia to China, authoritarians in government detest any challenge

00:19:42.980 to their authority. These government officials know that they are not impressive people. Australia's

00:19:47.980 prime minister has barely held a real job in his life. Most of the country is represented by people

00:19:52.060 like that. They're petrified that their subjects might worship someone other than themselves. And

00:19:57.100 as a result, they're now throwing Christians in prison for practicing their faith. This trend has

00:20:01.780 accelerated in China, and it's now spreading throughout the West. Christians are being forcibly 0.96

00:20:06.360 silenced at scale. They're being vilified and incarcerated for what they believe. Now, I began by saying this

00:20:13.780 as a monologue that is not about economics or trade wars, and that's true. But as we consider how we'll work

00:20:19.660 with these countries in the future as we negotiate trade deals and so on, the assaults on Christians simply 1.00

00:20:25.380 cannot be ignored. These attacks are as unlawful and immoral as they are systematic. They're becoming a

00:20:33.100 fundamental part of the culture of both our allies and our adversaries. For the benefit of billions of

00:20:40.060 Christians and to preserve basic constitutional rights like the freedom of speech, this coordinated assault on 1.00

00:20:45.740 religion must end. Now let's get to our five headlines. 1.00

00:22:09.980 PolicyGenius.com slash Walsh. Daily Wire reports the American stock market quickly rebounded on Wednesday

00:22:16.240 afternoon after President Donald Trump announced that he was pausing his reciprocal Liberation Day

00:22:20.120 tariffs on all countries except China. Responding to Trump's announcement, the Dow Jones, S&P 500,

00:22:27.320 and Nasdaq had all climbed above their Tuesday close by early Wednesday afternoon. Before the surge,

00:22:32.840 Trump said on Truth Social that he was raising tariffs on China to 125% and lowering tariffs

00:22:39.520 across the rest of the board to 10%, pausing the steeper reciprocal hikes. So that's where all this

00:22:47.720 lands. I mean, and you may have noticed that over the past week or two, while everybody has been

00:22:54.440 freaking out about the tariffs, that I've barely mentioned it on this show. And that's partly because

00:23:01.260 economic news isn't really my bag. I don't think I have the most valuable insight to offer on the

00:23:05.620 subject, frankly. You know, I think I have a pretty clear idea of where I have valuable insights and

00:23:13.060 where I don't. And so it's not my focus, even though it is obviously important. But it's also

00:23:18.660 because I wanted to see how all this plays out. I didn't want to be a panicking, to use Trump's

00:23:23.940 phrase, which I do, to use his term, which I quite like. Just see how it plays out for a few days.

00:23:29.260 You can do that. It's okay to do that. When something is happening, you can wait. You can

00:23:33.620 just see, like, let's see what happens here for a couple of weeks at least. And then you can make

00:23:41.140 your pronouncements. It doesn't have to be right away. But of course, these days you're expected

00:23:47.320 to have a definitive pronouncement on everything immediately, especially in my line of work.

00:23:52.780 everyone expects you to diagnose every situation in 5.2 seconds and then sort of stake your ground

00:24:00.680 and defend your position. But a couple of weeks ago, well, I wasn't sure how it would play out.

00:24:09.420 I just wasn't sure. I didn't know. My crystal ball was broken. So I said, well, let's see how it plays

00:24:16.880 out. And so now we kind of have an idea of it. And very often it will turn out that if you just

00:24:23.800 wait, there will be more clarity. I will say that I have never regretted waiting to chime in on

00:24:30.640 something. I have regretted not waiting in a few cases that come to mind. So all that said, I think

00:24:36.800 Trump landed in the right place here. Focusing on China makes sense. China is the one ripping us off 1.00

00:24:41.760 to an extraordinary degree. Getting into a trade war with China is one thing. Getting into a trade

00:24:49.540 war with the whole world is another thing. The question is whether Trump had always planned to

00:24:53.240 play it this way or was this pause purely a reaction to the markets? And I don't know what

00:25:00.560 was in his head. I do know that I like that we're focusing on China. In fact, maybe you've seen this

00:25:05.680 clip, which I think is excellent, of Kevin O'Leary, Mr. Wonderful from Shark Tank, saying that if

00:25:13.120 anything, in his mind, Trump, even now with 125%, is going too easy on China. He would like to see

00:25:22.380 the tariffs at 400%. Let's watch that. But Kevin, he said there's a lot of deals that they're literally

00:25:29.060 kissing his ass, was the phrase he used, you know, very eloquently. Where are the deals? 0.98

00:25:35.640 104% tariffs in China are not enough. I'm advocating 400%. I do business in China. They don't play by the

00:25:43.780 rules. They've been in the WTO for decades. They have never abided by any of the rules they agreed

00:25:48.620 to when they came in for decades. They cheat. They steal. They steal IP. I can't litigate in their courts.

00:25:54.060 They take product, technology. They steal it. They manufacture it and sell it back here. 0.99

00:26:01.700 Never has an administration-

00:26:02.760 Can Americans understand 400% tariffs? What would that look like?

00:26:05.420 I want Xi on an airplane to Washington to level the playing field. This is not about tariffs anymore.

00:26:12.960 Nobody has taken on China yet, not the Europeans, no administration for decades. As someone who

00:26:19.100 actually does business there, I've had enough. I speak for millions of Americans who

00:26:24.040 have IP that have been stolen by the Chinese. I have nothing against the Chinese people. They brought 1.00

00:26:31.100 great literacy, art, and tech to the world. The government cheats and steals. And finally,

00:26:39.980 an administration, you may not like Trump. You may not like his style or his rhetoric.

00:26:44.300 Finally, an administration that puts up and says, enough. 400% tariffs tomorrow morning.

00:26:52.040 He'll tell you why. Xi can only stay the supreme leader if people are employed.

00:26:59.100 If we wipe out any business there, because we are still 39% of all consumables on Earth and 25%

00:27:06.620 of the world's GDP, America is the number one economy on Earth with all the cards. We will not have that

00:27:12.100 forever. It's time to squeeze Chinese heads into the wall now. 1.00

00:27:16.840 Well said. You can't argue with anything that he said there. China's ripping us off. They don't play 1.00

00:27:23.560 by the rules. They steal IP. No question about any of that. It's just a question of having the will

00:27:28.220 to do something about it, being willing to absorb the short-term cost. And that's something that very

00:27:32.560 few American leaders in modern history have ever been willing to do. And it's a message that they've

00:27:38.180 been unwilling to deliver to the American people. That's what I've respected about Trump's messaging

00:27:42.020 through all of this. However you feel about the tariffs. When he said, you know, it's going to

00:27:49.680 hurt at first. It's going to be painful. You just, you never hear political leaders in this country

00:27:55.480 say that. It's almost shocking to hear because you never hear them ever say that. You never hear

00:28:02.780 political leaders say, hey, I'm advocating a policy. I'm pushing a policy. I'm enacting a policy

00:28:06.620 that will hurt right now, but it'll be worth it in the long run. And that's exactly the problem,

00:28:14.560 by the way. That's why nothing ever gets solved. Because to solve any problem, any significant

00:28:20.300 problem, there is going to be pain. There is going to be volatility. No significant problem in this

00:28:26.720 country can be solved without that. And so if we're never willing to endure it, and if no political

00:28:34.040 leader is willing to take the hit in the polls, then nothing will get solved. And this is why

00:28:41.840 nothing does get solved. Any example, point to anything economically, culturally, point to any

00:28:51.500 major problem we face that's been allowed to fester. And the reason is always going to be that our

00:28:59.340 political leaders just were not willing to do the things that were necessary to fix it because they

00:29:06.840 knew that in the short term, it would be painful for people. And then they would take a hit in the

00:29:11.160 polls and they weren't willing to take the hit. This is why, you know, Social Security, for example,

00:29:17.500 is such a boondoggle because nobody has been willing to stand up and say, listen, we need to get out of

00:29:22.700 this thing. It doesn't make sense. It's not going to work. We cannot keep taking tens of thousands of

00:29:30.120 dollars from working Americans every single year to put into a retirement account that doesn't even

00:29:40.980 exist, forcing them to enroll in our retirement savings program. We can't keep doing it. So we got

00:29:49.120 to get out of this thing. It's going to hurt. There's going to be pain, but it can't go on.

00:29:56.620 And in the long run, it's the right thing. Nobody is willing to say that about anything.

00:30:04.020 And so with this, with trade, with tariffs, it's like the first time that I can think of

00:30:09.980 in my lifetime when we've heard this kind of messaging from a president or really any political

00:30:17.980 leader. Okay. Representative Brandon Gill questioned a witness during a House Judiciary Committee hearing

00:30:22.700 about sanctuary cities yesterday. And I don't know a lot about Brandon Gill. Actually, I don't know

00:30:26.080 anything about him, but I have seen a few clips like this recently where he's been questioning

00:30:31.080 somebody in a hearing. And I've been pretty impressed in those clips, including in this one.

00:30:37.200 Watch how this plays out.

00:30:38.240 Would you describe Baltimore as a safe city?

00:30:46.960 What's your definition of safe? I'm asking you, is Baltimore a safe city? Is it the kind

00:30:52.080 of city that you would want to raise a family and maybe go jogging in without having to be

00:30:56.840 worried about being murdered or raped?

00:30:58.860 I grew up in Baltimore. My family is in Baltimore. My mother still lives in the same house in West

00:31:04.740 Baltimore.

00:31:05.840 Is it a safe city?

00:31:07.140 For 60 plus years. So the answer is definitely yes.

00:31:09.500 You think Baltimore is a safe city?

00:31:11.140 Of course it is.

00:31:12.040 Okay. Do you know what the homicide rate is in Baltimore?

00:31:16.600 Exactly no.

00:31:17.820 It's about 35 per 100,000. Do you know what the homicide rate is in the rest of the United States?

00:31:25.540 No, I don't.

00:31:26.240 I can tell you that the homicide rate in Baltimore is about five times the national average.

00:31:32.260 Do you know how Baltimore's robbery rate compares to the rest of the United States?

00:31:37.680 At the moment, no, I don't.

00:31:39.000 You don't? It's about 8.4 times the national average. Do you know how Baltimore's assault

00:31:44.620 rate compares to the national average?

00:31:47.400 No, I don't.

00:31:48.260 It's about 3.4 times higher. Does that sound like a safe city to you?

00:31:52.700 Safe to me and my family members.

00:31:54.320 So that's safe to you? 30, excuse me, five times higher than the national average for

00:31:59.600 homicides? That's a safe city? 1.00

00:32:01.800 Perception.

00:32:03.060 It's what? Excuse me?

00:32:04.960 It said it's what the, for instance, it's perception. It's what you feel as a resident

00:32:10.080 in Baltimore City.

00:32:11.540 I don't, if you're murdered, I don't think it matters what you feel. Do you? Is it,

00:32:15.040 is it your testimony that the safety depends on how people feel?

00:32:20.220 To me, Baltimore City is a safe city.

00:32:22.700 To you, it's a safe city. I don't think it's safe to the people who are being murdered every

00:32:26.580 single weekend there.

00:32:31.360 Yeah, it's a safe city. I guess, you know, it's all, well, you know, safety, safety is

00:32:40.500 all relative. So being, living in a house in Baltimore is safe compared to, I don't know,

00:32:50.260 being in the, you know, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre guy's meat locker or something. So

00:32:56.700 great stuff from this representative. And what we see from this witness is a large part of the reason

00:33:01.580 why these cities like Baltimore are so horrifically unsafe. And by the way, I grew up in the Baltimore

00:33:09.260 area. I didn't live in the city, but I grew up in the area. And yes, it's very unsafe.

00:33:15.940 Everyone in the area knows that as you get closer to the city, the neighborhoods get more and more

00:33:19.960 dangerous, which is how, which is how it works in every major city. But the thing about Baltimore is

00:33:24.800 that, you know, years ago when I was a kid, many parts of the city were, were nice. You could go

00:33:32.720 downtown, you could go to the inner Harbor. Uh, you could walk down some of the historic streets

00:33:37.480 with all the old houses. You'd go to little Italy. You could go to Fort McHenry. You could go to, um,

00:33:42.620 I used to love going to look at the, uh, the shot tower in Baltimore where they used to make a musket 0.65

00:33:47.660 shot, musket balls. And, uh, that was cool because that was a building that was built in like the 1820s.

00:33:52.540 And when it was built, it was the, it was the largest building in the entire country.

00:33:56.740 Uh, and now of course it's dwarfed by every even small size skyscraper. But anyway,

00:34:02.320 Baltimore used to be family friendly. As long as you stayed out of the inner city, you stayed out of

00:34:07.740 the, as long as you stayed out of the places where they filmed the wire, basically you, you were okay.

00:34:12.700 And that all started to change. And by the time I moved away from home, uh, we weren't going to the

00:34:17.520 inner Harbor anymore. It became too dangerous. The violent crime took over the entire city.

00:34:22.660 And, um, and that's a trend that's continued by the way, you know, with, with the, the inner Harbor

00:34:27.600 violent, there was just an article I saw recently, but violent crime in the inner Harbor continuing to,

00:34:33.200 to rise. Um, and, and, and those are, again, I bring that up because those are supposed to be the

00:34:39.700 safe parts. Those are the, those are the safe parts of the city that if I still lived in the area,

00:34:45.540 I would, I wouldn't be bringing my kids up. We wouldn't be going to the inner Harbor. I'm just not

00:34:48.640 going to do that. And, uh, that's the way it so often goes. And how does this happen?

00:34:55.080 Well, we just saw because you've got these people who refuse to be honest about the problem. They

00:34:59.740 refuse to face it. They refuse to be honest. You've got someone here in a congressional hearing

00:35:06.180 on camera under oath, testifying that Baltimore is safe. In fact, he says it as if it's a self

00:35:16.760 evident. Of course it's safe. Everyone knows that Baltimore city is safe. It's a, it's, it's

00:35:22.940 world renowned as such a safe, peaceful place. Um, he doesn't really believe that nobody believes

00:35:30.260 that everyone knows it's, it's bull crap, but there's no chance of any of the problems being 0.91

00:35:35.780 fixed because, um, they refuse to be even remotely honest about it, which is the point that we'll 0.97

00:35:41.960 return to, uh, in fact, in the daily cancellation, we'll get back to that. So moving on to this,

00:35:47.000 Chris Matthews appeared on MSNBC yesterday. He used to have a show on MSNBC as older folks may

00:35:54.920 recall. You kids may not remember that, but, um, well, you kids don't even know that MSNBC exists,

00:36:00.180 but it does. It's a cable news channel. And, uh, this guy was on the network for a long time.

00:36:05.340 And then he was, then he farted on air and he was fired. Uh, I may be slightly altering the series

00:36:11.040 of events there, but he did fart on air in an interview with, uh, with, uh, Eric Swalwell. Well,

00:36:15.320 it's a, it's controversy over who farted really in that, in that one. And maybe they both did,

00:36:18.920 but anyway, eventually he got fired. Um, he was back on the network and he had some thoughts about

00:36:25.660 tariffs and this, this was before Trump and stated the pause, but he, he said something.

00:36:33.460 Well, it's just an easy dunk. It gives everyone a chance for a really easy, cheap dunk. And you know,

00:36:38.960 there's nothing I like more than an easy, cheap dunk, the easier and cheaper, the better.

00:36:45.620 I'm not above any of it. So here is Chris Matthews.

00:36:50.420 But there's something I watched on the evening news last night, one of the other networks,

00:36:54.480 and I watched, uh, the issue of lumber. Now you see, we get so much of our lumber,

00:36:59.720 our two by fours from, from Canada. What's where you get it from Canada. We got our newsprint from

00:37:05.100 up there for newspapers. The fact is we get it. What are we going to do to have more lumber made in the

00:37:09.420 United States now? What is our plan now? Oh, we're not going to import wood. So we're going to make

00:37:13.840 more wood. We're going to create more wood. Is that it? I don't think we are in a position

00:37:17.980 to simply replicate the imports coming into this country with our own products. They can't always

00:37:23.760 be done. And I think if a woods example of that would, are we going to make more wood in this

00:37:29.500 country because of our trade deal? I don't think so. What are we going to do? We're just going to make

00:37:35.300 more wood. What is it? But it's ridiculous. You know, we also import some, uh, bottled water from

00:37:42.540 Canada. Maybe, I don't know. Let's just say that we do. What are we going to do? Just get more water?

00:37:48.800 What? Are we going to find our own water? What do you think? Water falls from the sky? Is that what

00:37:53.780 you think? Oh yeah, sure. Let's just, let's just wait for the magical water sky fairy to drop water

00:38:00.240 from the sky. Great plan, guys. That's what Chris Matthews is saying, basically. Um, you expect us

00:38:07.600 to create more wood? Wood doesn't grow on trees for God's sake. As my dad used to say, good point,

00:38:17.660 Chris. Good point. Except that wood, you know, is trees. So that's where we get it. Where do you

00:38:28.740 think we get wood? Uh, Chris, where, where do you, where do you think, what do you think lumber is?

00:38:36.380 Where do you think it comes from? Uh, where do we get wood? And, uh, uh, yes. In fact, we, we,

00:38:45.820 we can create more wood. We just, you know, we, we have, it's, we, we have trees. We can, well,

00:38:51.360 we can grow trees. So you actually can, you can just create, you can just like make it. It's like,

00:38:56.720 it's magic. Um, and, uh, and, in fact, we, but we have a lot of trees already. We have, uh, 228

00:39:03.840 billion trees in this country. I asked chat GPT and that's what it told me. It also told me that

00:39:09.700 there are 716 trees per person. So that's good information to have. So we've got plenty of wood.

00:39:17.800 And, uh, I think that, look, there, there are, there are examples you could point to of things that

00:39:24.080 we import that we, we could not just easily create on our own. It's just that Chris Matthews

00:39:29.840 chose the worst example. He chose the worst possible example, uh, to illustrate that point,

00:39:36.820 which is great. There's been some discussion about Christy Noem, who's been doing all these

00:39:41.740 videos and photo ops while she's out with the ICE agents on immigration raids, always wearing the

00:39:47.260 uniform, the body armor, the hair and makeup, all done up. Uh, latest video has caused some

00:39:53.200 controversy. Let's watch it. Here we are with Marco and Brian today. They're letting me roll

00:39:58.320 with them. We're going to go out and pick up somebody who I think is got charges of human

00:40:03.160 trafficking. Um, we earlier had an op that swept up somebody who was wanted for murder. So

00:40:09.620 appreciate the good work that they do every day. And we appreciate them working to make America safe.

00:40:15.660 So you see, again, the, uh, the body armor, the gun, the hat kind of, uh, motioning slightly

00:40:21.220 towards the agent with, she's kind of, she, she does, she motions towards the agent, uh, with,

00:40:27.860 with the barrel of the weapon that, that seems to point in his direction, which is not what you

00:40:33.660 want. Um, the, the firearm is, it should not be used like a laser pointer. That's not what you want

00:40:38.960 to do. And you know, I have the same take on this that a lot of people do. I'm, I don't need the

00:40:44.840 Kristi Noem dress up thing. I just don't need it. We don't need it. Nobody needs it. Let the ice 1.00

00:40:51.920 agents go do what they do. Let the, the big tough dudes go out and catch the bad guys and the gang

00:40:57.040 members and deport them. And by the way, by all accounts, Kristi Noem is doing a, a really good

00:41:02.860 job in her actual role. Uh, she's doing a, she's, she's, she's performing the, you know, she's fulfilling

00:41:11.800 her obligations. She's doing a good job. It's just that it's, yeah, it's this, this, the pageantry

00:41:18.240 part of it that we don't need. Um, this kind of thing really only appeals to very specific

00:41:25.060 demographic to a really a specific demographic. I think that when you've got Kristi Noem, she's got

00:41:31.420 the makeup on, she's got the hair and she's got the body armor, which looks like it doesn't even 0.80

00:41:35.300 really fit. And she's carrying the weapon and, and, and she's sort of pretending that she's going to be

00:41:40.660 knocking down doors with these guys. Uh, she, you know, she's what, what? Five, six, 110 pounds. 0.99

00:41:46.600 I mean, it, it, it's not going to happen. I, I think that this is basically for

00:41:51.680 boomer conservative men only. I think boomer men like the whole kick-ass boss babe routine. 0.78

00:42:00.360 Uh, they like the conservative woman holding the gun, pretending to be Tomb Raider or whatever. 1.00

00:42:04.720 Um, not all boomer men, but I, I do think this is a boomer man play. It's not for women. 1.00

00:42:11.980 Conservative women don't need this. Younger guys, guys in my generation, if I can call myself younger

00:42:15.620 at this point, uh, we, we find this pretty cringe. So you're really left with like the kind of, um,

00:42:22.280 Sean Hannity viewer demographic. And I don't mean that as an insult. Okay. No shade. This is not shade.

00:42:27.000 I'm just offering my analysis. I think that's, I think that's, that's who, when you see this and,

00:42:31.940 and you say, well, who's this for? Why are you doing this? Who is this for? I think that's who

00:42:36.860 it's for, but whoever it's for, it's not necessary. We don't need the cause play. Uh, we just need

00:42:43.500 seriousness. And I think the Trump administration is taking the deportation of, uh, criminal illegal

00:42:50.480 aliens very seriously by all accounts. Like this is there you get, and they've, and guys like Tom

00:42:57.860 Homan, very serious guy. I mean, nobody would deny that. So they are taking it very seriously.

00:43:03.820 They are doing it well. Um, but then you just have this, you kind of mix in this, um, the little

00:43:11.400 bit of this theater here, which is made for to post on, on Twitter. And it's supposed to be

00:43:15.700 impressive. And I just let, let's, let's leave all that behind. We don't, we don't need it.

00:43:20.260 We don't need it. Uh, that's my take on that. Tax season is officially here and the IRS is turning

00:43:26.840 up the heat with the April 15th deadline fast approaching. Now's the time to act. If you've

00:43:30.620 fallen behind on filing or owe back taxes, delay will only make things worse. Every day you wait

00:43:35.880 increases your risk and the consequences with over 5,000 new tax liens filed every day and powerful

00:43:40.440 enforcement tools like property seizures, bank levies, and wage garnishments at its disposal. The

00:43:45.220 IRS is applying pressure at a level we haven't seen in years. Don't make the mistake of facing the

00:44:54.800 You know, a lot of people have been mad at me this week. Well, a lot of people are mad at me every

00:45:05.660 week, but this is an especially mad week. It's the kind of week where somebody tweeted, quote,

00:45:10.940 I'm praying that Matt Walsh gets into a fatal car accident. And that tweet got like 150 likes before

00:45:16.680 it was taken down. And I know what you're thinking, only 150 likes? That's disappointing.

00:45:22.280 We got to get those numbers up. And I agree. But again, the tweet was taken down. That's not a bad

00:45:26.160 tally for something that was only posted for a few hours. So get off my case about it. There was also

00:45:31.060 another tweet that said simply, I can't wait for Matt Walsh to die. And I appreciate that this guy is

00:45:37.060 more open-minded. You know, the other one only wants me to die in a car accident, but this guy is open to

00:45:41.360 really anything causing my death, a shark attack, asteroid strike, spontaneous combustion. He'll take

00:45:45.660 anything. And I really do appreciate that. But in any case, people are especially upset at me this week,

00:45:50.020 as best I can tell, because I have been speaking out about the murder of Austin Metcalf.

00:45:54.400 And my take on the murder is that, first of all, it's bad, which is already very controversial among

00:45:59.560 a large number of leftists. And also, second, I believe that his killing at the hands of Carmelo

00:46:03.160 Anthony is part of a larger trend. And the larger trend is that young black males like Carmelo Anthony

00:46:08.220 are, well, constantly killing people and committing other acts of violence. Young black males are the most 1.00

00:46:14.380 violent demographic in the country, hands down, no contest. I think we should probably 1.00

00:46:18.180 acknowledge that fact and start taking it seriously. And this in particular is what seems to have

00:46:22.680 angered so many people to the point that some of them are wishing for my death. Although in fairness,

00:46:27.780 most of them were wishing for my death before all of this. So really, it's just icing on the cake.

00:46:31.060 So today, I want to go through and watch some of the angry videos that have been posted responding

00:46:36.200 to my comments on the Metcalf murder. And we'll hear my critics out, find out if maybe they have any

00:46:41.340 legitimate points to make. Let's start with this video from a channel called Political Punk.

00:46:45.740 He's very offended. Let's find out why.

00:46:50.240 Look at this tweet, man. If I told you that a young man stabbed another young man to death for

00:46:55.460 telling him he was in the wrong seat, and then I told you that one young man in this altercation

00:47:00.060 was white, and the other black, and then I asked you to guess the race of the assailant,

00:47:05.140 every single person would know the answer immediately, Matt Walsh says. 0.99

00:47:10.040 Young black males are violent to a wildly, outrageously disproportionate degree. 1.00

00:47:15.960 That's just a fact, he says. We all know it. And it's time we speak honestly about it, 1.00

00:47:21.020 or nothing will ever change. Dude, this is like Jim Crow right here, bro.

00:47:26.260 And yet, like every mass shooter is whom? Is a white guy, right? But dude, this is straight up

00:47:42.280 Klan. I mean, it's coming from Matt Walsh, who is basically straight up Klan. But every mass 0.85

00:47:51.260 shooter, every one of them, is white. Okay, now the claim that every mass shooter is white is one 0.95

00:47:57.100 that will come up again in these clips, so we'll save that for later. It's not remotely true at

00:48:00.740 all. Spoiler alert, but we'll get to that in a few minutes. He says that my point about the

00:48:04.780 disproportionate violence of black males is straight up Klan stuff, but you'll notice what 0.89

00:48:08.280 he doesn't say. He doesn't say that I'm wrong. And this is another theme that will emerge when you 0.92

00:48:12.420 point out the disproportionate violence of black males. Leftists will get offended. They'll call you 0.98

00:48:15.720 names. They'll say you're racist. They'll deflect. They'll talk about white school shooters and mass

00:48:20.060 shooters and so on. But what they won't do, because they can't do it, is present any data

00:48:25.260 that contradicts the claim itself. What they won't do is say, hey, let's look at the numbers. I'm going

00:48:30.520 to show you that young black males are not disproportionately violent. They won't do that

00:48:37.120 because it's just simply the case that black males are disproportionately violent, and they just demand 0.99

00:48:42.880 that we don't notice it. And there's a lot that this next person doesn't want us to notice. This is 0.98

00:48:49.140 someone calling himself intelligent hood genius, so you know it's going to be good. Let's listen. 0.97

00:48:55.220 White people, black people are violent. Black men are violent. I'm trying to, I'm confused. And what 1.00

00:49:02.080 clowns like Matt Walsh want to do is just put up a narrative. This ain't got nothing to do with race. 0.98

00:49:07.580 This is, this was supposed to, like I said, this is someone who was aggressive, was met with aggression.

00:49:15.300 When you know how to talk, all he had to do was, yo, you don't belong here. You know, da-da-da-da, woo-woo,

00:49:21.360 hey man, you know, this is our thing. This, that, and third. You got to go, man. This is where we,

00:49:27.640 this is where we at. This is our tit or whatever. This is where our stuff at. You know, you don't belong here.

00:49:32.860 You know what I mean? It could have been that simple. It could have been that simple.

00:49:42.060 And maybe the young man would have got up and left, but you don't know that because if you just 0.99

00:49:45.980 come out being disrespectful and coming with that aggression, man, you better get your ass away 0.99

00:49:50.920 from here. Mother, you better leave. You better move. This is our tit. What the fuck you doing here? 1.00

00:49:54.860 Da-da-da-da. Now it's, it's not a, now it's, oh well, make me leave. Since you want to come like you 1.00

00:50:01.700 going to, like you going to bully me or something like that. Okay. All right. Well, yeah, yeah. Well,

00:50:06.860 you know what? I'm coming. I'm going to push you out the way. I'm going to push you. And then you

00:50:10.240 come pushing and shoving. Yo, you keep touching me. Put your hands on me. Keep touching. And then I

00:50:14.620 pull, he pull a knife out and stab you in the chest. Now you want to cry wolf. Like I say, on the, in the 1.00

00:50:20.220 streets, that's, that's justified. But in the court of law, it's not going to be self-defense. And the young

00:50:27.860 man made a mistake. He made a, he made a mistake. You know what I mean? And he only stabbed him one

00:50:34.020 time. So he was obvious. Wasn't really trying to, you know, he made a mistake and, uh, it was

00:50:41.320 uncalled for and he shouldn't have had that knife with him. Uncalled for. Hmm. Uh, understanding it

00:50:48.480 slightly. Now you say he made a mistake by stabbing Austin. No, sir. A mistake is opening your car door

00:50:54.200 too wide and scratching the car next to you in the parking lot. A mistake is turning a corner in a

00:50:57.600 hallway and bumping into somebody. Stabbing a guy directly in the heart is not a mistake. It's a

00:51:02.520 deliberate and premeditated act of homicide. Um, the fact that he only stabbed him once in the heart is

00:51:09.380 irrelevant. I mean, that's like saying, well, he only cut his head off once, right? It only takes

00:51:14.420 once. Second, you say that stabbing a guy for disrespecting you is justified in the streets.

00:51:20.900 Yes, exactly. That's exactly what I'm talking about. That is precisely the problem. The fact

00:51:30.600 that stabbing a guy and killing him is considered justified in the streets is the entire point that

00:51:37.400 I'm trying to make. Because when you say in the streets, what you really mean is in black culture. 0.98

00:51:42.160 Now, because I know you don't mean necessarily in the literal physical streets, although maybe there

00:51:48.420 too, and you're definitely not talking about in the streets of a white upper middle-class

00:51:53.200 neighborhood. No, you're talking about in a black neighborhood, in the streets of a black 1.00

00:51:58.040 neighborhood. In a black neighborhood, according to you, it is justified to kill a man for perceived 1.00

00:52:03.080 disrespect. Yes, and that's the problem. That's the problem with the streets, isn't it? Next, we have a 0.99

00:52:11.260 guy named Alfonso, who I guess, from what I could tell, fashions himself some kind of conservative,

00:52:15.400 but he's very upset with me also and says that I am, in fact, a liability, whatever that means.

00:52:20.960 But let's listen.

00:52:23.560 Matt Walsh is a liability in terms of the so-called race narrative. Okay. Long story short, as far as

00:52:31.080 Matt Walsh is concerned, black folks just have this innate problem of being violent. Okay. That's how 1.00

00:52:37.900 Matt Walsh wants you to perceive us. Now, Matt wants to, I guess he's, hey, man, he's the, he's,

00:52:45.840 he's the, the, the authority on, on what it is to be black and how we're supposed to behave. And I'm

00:52:52.660 pretty sure the bell curve satisfies him and stuff like that. But what Matt Walsh fails to point out

00:52:59.300 to y'all is who has control of the black community? Well, that would be the Democrat party. All right. 0.84

00:53:06.140 Black folks ain't this way just because it's just something in our genes. I mean, heck, man, 0.96

00:53:10.300 if you want, if the, the, the, it's, it's funny how you want to make it out to be that this is a 0.98

00:53:14.820 problem with black folks. The world over, you know who they're afraid of the most? White people. 0.60

00:53:19.900 They're afraid of white people the most. Uh, I'm not saying that it's justified, 0.94

00:53:24.360 but heck man, when you, when you consider the Nazis, uh, when you consider, I don't know,

00:53:30.000 the Vikings, when you consider the KKK that we had here, the, the, the, the, the, uh, the stigma

00:53:36.700 that's on white people, that's something that they did to themselves. Well, um, Alfonso, if you're

00:53:44.920 still worried about a ship full of Vikings showing up and ransacking your village, that's really a you 0.90

00:53:51.560 problem. And I'd say the same if you're worried about the Nazis or the KKK. Hey, Alfonso, do you

00:53:57.060 have any examples of the white menace from this century? You gave me one from about 10 centuries

00:54:02.740 ago. And then two others that haven't been relevant since before the middle of the last

00:54:06.760 century. And by the way, if we're blaming white people for the Nazis, we also have to give white 0.82

00:54:10.080 people credit for beating the Nazis. So it's basically a wash in that case. Historically speaking,

00:54:15.940 it's just not remotely true that white people have been the most violent or uniquely violent.

00:54:20.480 That is a fantasy that you keep alive in your head, Alfonso, because you've never read a history 0.80

00:54:25.700 book in your life. Non-white regions of the world have been very, very violent since the beginning of 1.00

00:54:30.260 recorded history and long before that. And by the way, do you know who first abolished slavery?

00:54:35.840 Do you know who in fact abolished slavery over the objections of Africans and Arabs? That would be

00:54:40.940 white Europeans. Now, as for the violence in the black community being the fault of Democrats, 0.92

00:54:46.100 I certainly agree that Democrat policies have made everything worse. You will not hear any objections

00:54:50.900 from me on that point. But I noticed that in your analysis of who's to blame for violence in the

00:54:55.160 black community, the one group you seem to have let off the hook is the black community. But we got 0.91

00:55:00.540 you talking about Democrats and Vikings, and you're going all the way back a thousand years to look for

00:55:04.780 what about the actual people in these communities? Is it crazy to suggest that perhaps black people are also

00:55:11.540 responsible for violence committed by black people? Is there any connection here at all that you might 0.98

00:55:17.920 notice? You just said that, you know, the alleged reputation that white people have for violence is

00:55:25.400 one that we did to ourselves, quote unquote, because of the Vikings a thousand years ago. So let me get

00:55:29.620 this straight. White people are responsible for our supposed reputation for violence, but black people 1.00

00:55:34.120 aren't responsible for theirs. I'm more responsible for the raping and pillaging done by Viking warriors in 1.00

00:55:39.100 the year 950 AD than the black community is for the raping and pillaging done by black criminals in the 1.00

00:55:44.100 current year we're actually living in. Does that make sense to you, Alfonso? If Democrat leaders in predominantly 0.99

00:55:51.280 black cities are bad, and they are, who elected them? Who are the voters electing these incompetent people to 1.00

00:55:59.320 lead them? If a politician in a predominantly black city runs on a platform of law and order, he will lose. Why is that? 0.97

00:56:09.100 Who are the voters who automatically reject any political leader who promises to actually arrest

00:56:14.440 criminals and punish them? And if fatherless homes are a major driver of crime in the black community, 0.79

00:56:19.780 and they are, who are the fathers abandoning their families? Who are the mothers going around and

00:56:23.480 sleeping with men that they aren't married to? These are self-inflicted problems. And if you aren't

00:56:27.480 ready to admit that, then you aren't ready to have this conversation at all. And there are many more videos just

00:56:33.760 like the one we already played, but we don't have time to go through all of them. We'll move over to

00:56:37.880 TikTok and look at one or two more. Here's a video from an account that, and I just like this one because

00:56:43.760 the account is called Empathy Wins, but it apparently did not win in this video. Watch.

00:56:48.760 Matt Walsh and all of America know that most school shooters are young white men. Matt Walsh and all of

00:56:54.920 America know that most serial killers in the United States are white men. So much so that our own 1.00

00:57:01.640 writers of horror fiction are always casting the slasher in a slasher film as a white man to match

00:57:10.000 the statistics. I'm sorry. Let me see if I have this right. You think that when Hollywood is making

00:57:18.600 slasher horror films, that they are studiously making sure that the proportion of white killers 0.99

00:57:24.280 in those movies matches real life crime statistics? That's how you think this works? You think Friday

00:57:30.780 the 13th is a documentary? Well, just to clear things up, no, that's not how it works. Hollywood always

00:57:37.340 casts white men as the killers because if they cast black villains, then people like you will 1.00

00:57:43.740 throw a hissy fit. If there was a slasher horror film where you've got a black killer killing white 1.00

00:57:51.500 people, people like you would lose your minds. Unless at the end of it, it turns out that the 0.99

00:57:56.920 black killer was justified because all the people that he was killing were racist. That's the only 0.99

00:58:00.120 time that it would be okay. In reality, according to the Radford University FGCU serial killer database,

00:58:06.240 between the years of 1900 and 2010, 52% of serial killers were white and 40% were black. That means 0.89

00:58:12.180 that black people are hugely overrepresented among serial killers and whites are underrepresented, 0.98

00:58:17.420 which means that there are more black serial killers per capita than white, actually. In fact, 0.98

00:58:21.500 two of the deadliest serial killers this century were the Beltway Snipers,

00:58:25.280 which I remember that well because I lived in that general area when this was happening,

00:58:29.540 shot and killed 17 people in 2002. They were both black. So your facts are just wrong. 0.99

00:58:35.300 Uh, there's not much else to say. Let's play one more, uh, so that now we can finally deal with,

00:58:40.900 and because this has come up in almost every video now is the mass shoot, mass shooters, 0.95

00:58:44.600 mass shooters, mass shooters are white. So we'll finally deal with that, uh, claim. Watch. 0.83

00:58:50.640 Matt Walsh is a bloated, rotten corpse, but he is a perfect reflection of everything wrong with 0.99

00:58:56.800 American conservatives and American racists because white people shoot up schools at a larger percentage 1.00

00:59:03.620 than anyone else. But if I go around assuming that white culture leads to school shootings, 0.99

00:59:10.360 that would be an insane statement to make. But it's not insane that when one boy, teenage boy,

00:59:17.580 stabs another teenage boy to defunct an entire culture of people, that's not insane. White people 0.97

00:59:25.200 are the only ones allowed to be individuals who have their own problems and who can be blamed 0.99

00:59:30.640 individually for issues because the moment a black person does anything wrong, now the whole black 0.99

00:59:36.220 race has to jump in. All right. You know, of course, um, white people are never blamed for anything as 0.98

00:59:43.680 a group that never happens. When, when's the last time you heard anyone blame white people as a group?

00:59:47.980 Well, you know, it's like, it's not like blaming white people as a group is the favorite pastime

00:59:52.560 of people like the one in that video there. Um, okay. As for mass shootings, according to a

00:59:57.560 Washington Post database, 38% of mass shooters, 38% are white, which means again, that white people 0.67

01:00:07.620 are vastly underrepresented among mass shooters. 29% are black, which means black people are again, 0.98

01:00:14.760 greatly overrepresented. There are more black mass shooters per capita than there are white. 0.98

01:00:21.720 And get this, if you narrow it down to school shootings in particular, meaning shootings that 0.99

01:00:27.280 happen at a school, right? That's a, that's a school shooting, shooting at a school, regardless

01:00:31.920 of the casualty count, shooting at a school. Well, you'll find that according to a 2023 study titled

01:00:36.780 Characteristics and Obtainment Methods of Firearms Used in Adolescent School Shootings, 0.52

01:00:39.860 58% of school shooters were black. Only 28% were white. Again, there are more, many more black 0.99

01:00:49.620 school shooters per capita than white. In fact, not even per capita with school shooters. There are 0.98

01:00:53.660 more black school shooters, period, than white. So those are the facts. Um, and, and, and going back 0.99

01:01:02.360 to the, what the, the other video about Hollywood and movies, the fact that everyone assumes that

01:01:08.940 all mass shooters and all school shooters are white, that it's a uniquely white thing or that 0.93

01:01:13.640 white people are more likely to be mass shooters or school shooters. People assume that entirely 0.98

01:01:18.300 because of Hollywood movies portraying it that way. And because the news media will just ignore

01:01:25.800 mass shootings and even school shootings that are perpetrated by nonwhite people for the most part. 0.91

01:01:32.360 So am I accusing black culture of cultivating violence because of one stabbing? No, I'm accusing 0.99

01:01:38.960 it of cultivating violence because literally every category of violence, no matter how you break it 0.95

01:01:44.040 down, is led by the black community. I'm accusing it of cultivating violence because black people are 1.00

01:01:48.220 only 13% of the population, but more than half of all murderers. You know, if only 13% of murder 0.73

01:01:53.780 suspects were black, we wouldn't be having this conversation. If it was even 15% or 20%, it probably 1.00

01:01:58.500 wouldn't be enough of a disparity to be worth pointing out, but we're not talking about that. We're talking

01:02:02.280 about half, 50%, half from 13% of the population. That is a staggering number. That's historic. It's 1.00

01:02:10.260 mind-boggling. It's baffling. It's unprecedented. Now, I wish that the numbers were not like this.

01:02:20.840 Despite how I am portrayed by people like the ones in these videos, I don't want this to be the case.

01:02:30.820 I wish we didn't have to talk about this. I wish it wasn't as bad as this. I wish it wasn't the case

01:02:35.940 that every majority black community in the country is plagued by violent crime. I wish it wasn't the

01:02:39.580 case that as a neighborhood or shopping mall or movie theater or anything attracts more black 0.97

01:02:44.760 people. It also, in every case, every time becomes less safe and more crime-ridden. I wish that wasn't

01:02:48.860 true, but it just is true. And you can have the courage to face it, or you can cover your eyes and

01:02:57.600 plug your ears and shout the word racist at anyone who tries to talk about it. The choice is yours.

01:03:04.320 But if you choose the latter, you are choosing more death and more destruction and more misery.

01:03:16.300 That's your choice. At least have the guts to be honest about it. And that's why all the people

01:03:23.200 screaming at me for being honest about these issues are today canceled. That'll do it for the show today.

01:03:30.380 Thanks for watching. Thanks for listening. Have a great day. Talk to you tomorrow. Godspeed.

01:03:34.320 Godspeed.
