00:00:00.000Today on the Matt Wall Show, the victory of a Muslim socialist in the Democratic primary in New York has sparked a much-needed conversation about the dangers of mass migration, not just illegal migration, which it turns out isn't the only problem or even the main problem.
00:00:11.840Also, disgraced former Congressman Jamal Bowman goes on CNN and pulls a Jussie Smollett.
00:00:16.740And some kids in Atlanta face hate crime charges after destroying a pride flag.
00:00:20.500Yes, burning an American flag is free speech, but destroying a pride flag is a hate crime, apparently.
00:00:25.180Talk about all that and more today on the Matt Wall Show.
00:01:00.000I can confidently say this is the best 3-in-1 rain jacket I've ever owned.
00:01:04.380It folds down its own stash pockets as well.
00:01:06.980It takes up almost no space in your backpack or pocket, and it's a total game-changer in heavy or light rain.
00:01:12.800This thing is fully waterproof, and that's because it's got fully taped seams, silicone-sealed zips, adjustable cuffs, and the hood is designed to not allow any water near your face.
00:01:24.700It's also got five waterproof pockets, so all of your gear stays dry.
00:01:29.500Whether you're hiking, fishing, biking, or getting caught in a storm on your morning commute, this is the one crucial rain jacket that you need.
00:03:21.100But what's a little less obvious is that everything that's about to happen to New York is the inevitable result of large-scale demographic change caused by legal migration.
00:03:32.660For all the time we spend on this show and everywhere else discussing the disastrous consequences of allowing illegal aliens to flood into this country,
00:03:40.600the fact remains that most foreign nationals don't need to sneak across the border.
00:03:45.560Instead, over the past several generations, our government has let them in.
00:03:49.460That's not to say that all legal migration always has the same effects everywhere in every case.
00:04:02.460And nobody would confuse Miami for a dysfunctional socialist dystopia.
00:04:07.000Miami just overwhelmingly voted for Donald Trump in the last election.
00:04:10.100After years of supporting Democrats like Hillary Clinton, as recently as 2016, Miami is now a reliably conservative place, at least by voting standards.
00:04:19.500And there's an obvious reason for that.
00:04:21.680People fleeing Cuba have no desire to see the same socialist policies implemented in their new country.
00:04:27.360They see exactly what Democrats are trying to do, and they reject it.
00:04:32.900But New York City, where nearly half of the residents are now foreign-born, is a very different story.
00:04:38.460And that's because the vast majority of lawful migrants to New York are not coming from places like Cuba.
00:04:43.980Instead, they're coming from places like Guinea, Venezuela, Ecuador, Haiti, Senegal, Colombia.
00:04:51.840Migration from these countries has been a disaster for the United States, and there's no other way to put it.
00:04:57.140Several of these countries are in Africa with populations that are around 98% Muslim, which is why the Muslim population in this country has exploded since the 1990s.
00:05:07.700It's a very sudden and sharp increase in the Muslim population in just a generation or so.
00:05:12.020And as a result of this increase, as of the latest count a few years ago, New York currently has well over a million Muslims, or roughly 15% of the electorate.
00:05:22.560And for the most part, these Muslim migrants are fleeing their countries for economic reasons, not ideological ones.
00:05:30.980Which means they have no desire to assimilate here.
00:05:34.220They don't want to suddenly embrace any of our values.
00:05:36.640They simply want to take advantage of our economy.
00:05:39.840But we shouldn't be surprised by what we're seeing in New York or what we're about to see.
00:05:45.360And that's because this same exact story is played out in several other major cities in the West already.
00:05:51.660Here's what London looked like in 1961.
00:14:24.560If you're only making minimum payments, that debt will follow you for years.
00:14:28.180And that's why people are calling American Financing, because they're saving customers an average of $800 a month by using their equity to finally break free from credit card debt.
00:14:37.660You owe it to your family to see what's possible.
00:15:01.640And here's what most people don't realize.
00:15:03.440Abortion numbers have actually reached a 10-year high.
00:15:06.260The landscape has completely shifted, though.
00:15:08.320Over 60% of abortions now happen at home with medication, drugs, often with women going through this alone without fully understanding what's ahead.
00:15:18.580And that's where pre-born network clinics step in.
00:15:21.540They're seeing young mothers who were told this would be simple, but the reality is heartbreaking.
00:15:26.080Many go through this traumatic experience discovering that what they were told was just tissue, quote-unquote, looks very different from what they expected because it is, in fact, a living child.
00:15:36.22011% face serious health complications, and countless others carry emotional scars.
00:15:43.240And, of course, in 100% of cases, a child is killed, which is the greatest tragedy of all.
00:15:48.300When you support pre-born, you're helping both mothers and babies.
00:15:51.220They provide hope, support, and truth when it's needed most.
00:15:54.100They've already rescued over 350,000 babies, but so many more need help.
00:15:58.380Pre-born clinics offer free ultrasounds, counseling, and practical resources like baby supplies and financial assistance.
00:16:04.720When a scared young woman walks through the doors, she finds people who genuinely care about her future and her baby's life.
00:16:10.780To donate, call pound 250 and say baby, or visit preborn.com slash Walsh.
00:16:16.100Your tax-deductible gift makes this life-saving work possible.
00:17:16.360Your colleagues in the Republican Party do not hold each other accountable when it comes to the racism that comes from the party on a consistent basis.
00:17:26.140Congressman, I mean, where are you on the assassination?
00:17:34.640The reason why heart disease and cancer and obesity and diabetes are bigger in the black community is because of the stress we carry from having to deal with being called the N-word directly or indirectly every day.
00:17:48.540If your colleagues would listen and try to learn and engage and grow and stop being so hateful, we could have a better country.
00:17:58.440All right, so that was mostly incoherent.
00:18:01.560He just starts throwing everything against the wall.
00:21:32.700Okay, first of all, even if that happened, what does that have to do with anything?
00:21:39.920I mean, you're supposed to be having a debate about the mayoral race and here you are crying because some random person was mean to you.
00:21:48.040An incident that along with being totally irrelevant is also, of course, imaginary.
00:21:53.160Because in order for us to believe that this happened, we would have to believe two things.
00:21:57.380First, that somebody recognized Jamal Bowman walking down the street.
00:22:01.140And second, that Jamal Bowman was verbally harassed by a white person and didn't pull out his phone immediately to document it.
00:22:11.440Now, the first part of that that he was recognized is difficult to believe.
00:22:14.460The second part is impossible to believe.
00:22:16.080It is impossible to believe that a guy like Jamal Bowman could have an experience like that and not immediately pull out his phone and take full advantage of it.
00:22:25.240I mean, Jamal lives every day of his life, he lives fantasizing about a moment like this.
00:22:32.960About a moment of being accosted on the street randomly by a white guy.
00:23:14.740I think this is just one of another example of a trend of the Trump administration and his proxies, othering people with their language, right?
00:23:23.280You saw Vice President call Senator Padilla, Jose Padilla, intentionally.
00:23:28.340You saw President Trump has previously asked Asian staffers, where are you really from?
00:23:33.520Matt Walsh, another proxy for President Trump, made an implication that because of significant percentage of people in New York are foreign born, that it's not an American city anymore.
00:23:42.920This is an administration that has vilified the word diversity.
00:23:47.520I'm a Trump proxy, I have learned from CNN.
00:23:53.320Unfortunately, I am, like, the worst Trump proxy in the world.
00:23:57.540They really, like, they're not getting their money's worth from me as a proxy because, I mean, I just spent the last week vocally disagreeing with Trump on the Iran situation.
00:24:07.440In fact, I vocally disagree with Trump all the time, and I'm never shy about saying it.
00:24:12.780So, I don't know, I really should, I should be fired from my proxy job, but somehow they keep me employed.
00:24:43.420Diversity is, it's just an agenda to minimize white people.
00:24:52.800That's all the, which is why, which is why you will never, ever hear the left celebrate diversity when a majority black place or institution or town becomes more white.
00:25:04.780Even though that means that it's becoming more diverse, like, definitionally, but they, no, in that case, that's gentrification, and that's something to be mourned.
00:32:52.380Which, by the way, even that would be a problem.
00:32:54.720OK, you're an American and you work for the government.
00:32:58.460You need to think unequivocally that we are the greatest country in the world to put even any other country on the same pedestal as us would be a huge problem.
00:33:27.160If you put any country other than our own before ours and you're an American, much less an American public official or politician, that's a huge problem.
00:34:21.740Where someone like Sneeko, it all he cares about is Israel in a negative way.
00:34:30.240Which is why he will vote for a candidate for mayor, even though he allegedly disagrees with the guy's entire platform, his whole domestic agenda, everything he plans to do to the community where you live.
00:34:41.200And you will still vote for him because if he'll stand up and say, I don't like Israel.
00:38:38.060Even that, I would expect somebody did.
00:38:41.420But are you telling me that nobody in the immediate aftermath pulled out their phone and filmed anything?
00:38:47.780I mean, it would be the first time in the last, like, 20 years where there's been some kind of dramatic incident and people were around with phones and no one at any point pulled their phone out.
00:39:01.540We do know, though, that for sure that they have the surveillance footage, which was so that was released about a week ago, sort of released.
00:39:11.740There was a very small collection of journalists who were permitted to watch it and report on what they saw.
00:40:02.800Initially, Frisco police said an altercation between the teens led to the violent encounter.
00:40:12.800However, the footage reviewed by the Daily Mail at the Frisco Independent School District's headquarters shows no obvious physical confrontation between the two prior to the stabbing.
00:40:20.480The Daily Mail did not detect anything that indicated chaos was about to ensue.
00:40:25.620Then, seemingly out of nowhere, it becomes apparent that the moment has happened when an armed Anthony attacked Metcalf.
00:40:31.880The stabbing itself is not visible on camera.
00:40:33.640While other video angles may exist, the surveillance reviewed appears to challenge the self-defense claim, offering little visible evidence that Anthony was in immediate danger before the attack.
00:41:17.120What happened here was very clear from the beginning.
00:41:19.820Anthony went into a tent where he didn't belong.
00:41:21.780When he was told to leave, he responded to that by stabbing Austin Metcalf to death.
00:41:29.060The idea that he could have legitimately feared for his life at a track meet, when he has decided to walk into this tent, like, he could, it's a tent, right?
00:41:40.640You can, it's, you could walk away from it.
00:41:44.500There are countless angles where you could leave the tent, right?
00:41:54.500So, he's in fear for his life, but he's walked in, he's come to this tent, he's told to leave, and he fears for his life.
00:42:02.340But rather than just leave the tent, he stays, and he's the only one who's armed in this encounter, and yet he's the one who fears for his life.
00:42:14.520What is he, what's he worried is going to happen?
00:42:16.700He thinks the, he thinks the opposing track team is going to gang up and, like, kill him?
00:43:18.080I mean, if you go up to a young black male who's being disruptive in some way, or he's somewhere he's not supposed to be, and you tell him to please quiet down or to leave, there's a chance that he responds with violence.
00:43:31.600Like, not in self-defense, not because he thinks his life is in danger, but just because, just to prove how tough he is, just to inflict violence for the sake of it.
00:43:46.700Which is why, in so many cases, in similar sorts of situations, you know, the white people around, in many cases, are not going to say anything.
00:43:56.280Because they're worried about this exact kind of response.
00:43:59.900And they're not worried because they're racist.
00:44:02.100They're worried because they're capable of basic pattern recognition.
00:44:05.300They know, they have some basic idea of the data, the statistics.
00:44:09.240Like, statistically, young black males are more violent than any other demographic group.
00:44:18.820If you have a group of black teens in a movie theater who are being loud and disruptive, like, very often, if you've got white people around, they're not, they are going to be very hesitant to say anything.
00:54:33.840You might say, well, this is a symbol of their sexual preferences.
00:54:38.360And, you know, they feel very offended when it's destroyed.
00:54:41.700And apparently, that's what they're claiming.
00:54:44.180They're saying that the gay people saw their flags being ripped up, and they became hysterical, and they felt like their homes were being invaded or something.
00:54:52.620But if that's the case, if that's the case, why do we allow people to burn the American flag?
00:54:59.140Every court in the country will tell you that it's protected speech under the First Amendment.
00:55:02.780You can burn whatever American flags you want, no matter how much it offends anybody.
00:55:08.660Now, people who value the flag and love this country, they don't get to throw you in jail because you hurt their feelings.
00:55:15.280They don't get to throw you in jail because they feel like you're invading their home when you show up here and burn the flag.
00:55:23.560But the gay flag is apparently special somehow.
00:55:26.020Now, you might say, well, in this case, the flags in Atlanta belonged to somebody else, so they were private property, and you can't destroy private property.
00:55:35.260But based on the news reports, we actually don't know that.
00:55:38.180We have no idea who own these flags at the moment.
00:55:41.780Let's assume that these teenagers destroyed a $20 flag that somebody else, either the city or the gay bar, paid for.
00:55:47.880Well, in scenario number one, where the city paid for this gay pride flag, then obviously there should be no charges at all.
00:55:53.760The government doesn't get to compel taxpayers to fund the display of secular religious symbols in violation of the First Amendment, and then demand that we pay for maintaining them as well.
00:56:07.000They don't get to paint the streets and plant flags to advance their particular brand of gay communism.
00:56:13.820The Constitution just doesn't work that way.
00:56:16.700The money was stolen the moment that it was spent on those flags, and so the teenagers in that case were just repaying the favor.
00:56:23.060But in scenario number two, where the gay bar or some private actor paid for the flags, and they went and ripped the flag down from outside the gay bar or something like that, if that's what happened.
00:56:33.400Well, then at most, the charge should be vandalism or mischief or something inconsequential like that, and the kids should pay the $20 back, and that's it.
00:56:43.680The idea that they should also be hit with obstruction, conspiracy, and prowling charges, and hate crime charges, and that their parents should be arrested too, is obviously totally absurd.
00:56:55.640I mean, we just watched dozens of Democrats all over the country damage Teslas to the tune of $10,000 or more each, and get off with warnings in almost every single case.
00:57:07.020Tim Walz's own employee was caught on camera going on a vandalism spree, and they didn't do anything to him, much less to his parents.
00:57:15.620And now they're going to tell us that some $20 flag warrants a massive police response and a dragnet that captures the parents of everybody involved.
00:57:25.360Now, you hear the term anarcho-tyranny used a lot, but it's hard to think of a better example than this.
00:57:33.340At the same time, you have to give the city of Atlanta credit for one thing, which is that, despite my expectations, they've managed to demonstrate yet another reason why the category of hate crimes should be abolished and never mentioned by anyone ever again.
00:57:47.240In every case, it's used for fraudulent purposes to punish politically disfavored groups, to prop up hoaxes, or to distract from the people who are actually committing crimes.
00:57:58.320In this case, the idea of hate crimes is actually being used for all three purposes, amazingly enough.
00:58:03.680So the city of Atlanta has achieved a trifecta.
00:58:07.660And that is why the city of Atlanta and everybody else who's pretending to be upset that some teenagers took down the pride flag in the middle of the street are today canceled.
00:58:18.120That'll do it for the show today and this week.
00:58:20.880And actually, I'll be on vacation for the next two weeks, as has become my custom for the first two weeks of July.
00:58:27.420I'll see you back in a couple of weeks.
