00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, the story of the child killer who was released on parole after a few years in prison is even crazier than you think.
00:00:06.140 I've been investigating this case and found some new pieces that are absolutely mind-boggling. You have to hear this.
00:00:11.520 Also, the mayor of Chicago continues his open rebellion and treason against the United States. Why isn't he already arrested?
00:00:17.800 And a Hollywood actress says that it's an act of violence to expect young people to get married.
00:00:22.000 We'll talk about all that and more today on the Matt Wall Show.

00:02:26.000 We'll be right back.
00:02:39.760 On the night of the crime, Ronald Xantis admitted to officers that he deserved to die for what he had done, and he was right about that.
00:02:47.400 But he wasn't put to death.
00:02:48.540 Instead, the jury found him not guilty by reason of insanity for killing Logan Tipton
00:02:53.200 and guilty of assault in the attacks on everyone else in the family.
00:02:58.580 And as a result, he is now a free man.
00:03:00.880 For a home invasion in which he slaughtered a child,
00:03:04.440 Ronald Exantis ultimately served less than a decade in prison,
00:03:08.660 in a state that's overwhelmingly conservative, no less.
00:03:12.080 In other words, unless the slain child's father murders Ronald Exantis,
00:03:16.620 as he's vowed to do, then this particular child killer won't suffer any meaningful form of justice for his crimes.
00:03:24.720 In the state of Kentucky, child murder is now treated like tax evasion.
00:03:28.520 The punishments are equivalent.
00:03:31.560 And that's how things stood as of yesterday.
00:03:34.900 Somehow, though, this story has just become even more incomprehensible and enraging.
00:03:41.200 The more you look into what happened here and how it happened,
00:03:44.820 the more you realize that drastic action needs to be taken.
00:03:49.540 And after researching this over the last 24 hours, I have a pretty good idea of how to go about that.
00:03:56.380 And we'll start with this new statement from the Kentucky Parole Board.
00:03:59.860 They claim that, really, they didn't have anything to do with the release of Ronald Exantis.
00:04:04.240 It's not their fault, they say.
00:04:05.440 Quote, despite repeatedly voting for Ronald Exantis to remain in prison,
00:04:09.160 Parole Board members have faced significant threats over the last several days,
00:04:12.660 even having their personal addresses released publicly.
00:04:15.660 We are encouraging individuals to take these threats seriously and to prioritize factual information,
00:04:21.280 which is that the board did not release Exantis.
00:04:23.560 Instead, a law passed by the General Assembly did.
00:04:26.820 Now, first of all, you'll notice that they make themselves the victims in this scenario right off the bat.
00:04:33.160 Forget about the grieving parents who have to watch their son's killer go free.
00:04:38.200 Forget about Logan's siblings who are traumatized for life
00:04:41.160 and who now have to worry that Ronald Exantis will, you know,
00:04:44.860 finish the job that he started with this family.
00:04:48.900 Forget about the millions of Americans who have lost faith in the judicial system as a result of this farce.
00:04:53.920 The real victim, according to the Kentucky Parole Board, is the Kentucky Parole Board.
00:04:59.940 Of course, no one should threaten the Kentucky Parole Board.
00:05:03.120 No one condones that.
00:05:04.640 I don't condone it.
00:05:06.060 But you have to wonder why their first instinct is to talk about themselves in a case like this.
00:05:12.160 You also have to wonder if they actually voted to keep Ronald Exantis in prison, as they claim,
00:05:16.940 since the Parole Board's meetings aren't public.
00:05:20.360 This is what they claim now.
00:05:22.060 Oh, no, we all wanted to keep them.
00:05:24.380 Well, how do we know that?
00:05:26.120 We'll just have to take their word for it, I guess.
00:05:29.580 And more importantly, you have to wonder what law passed by the General Assembly is responsible for the release of Ronald Exantis
00:05:36.560 and whether or not the Parole Board could have done anything about it.
00:05:40.780 And this is where the story becomes truly insane.
00:05:45.200 Okay, well, it was already insane, but this is where somehow it gets crazier.
00:05:47.960 So my team, my producers, reached out to the Kentucky Parole Board yesterday.
00:05:55.240 And when they reached out, my team was told that Ronald Exantis, who, again, broke into a home in the middle of the night,
00:06:04.920 murdered a child, and then tried to kill an entire family.
00:06:08.880 But what we were told is that he is still considered a nonviolent offender in Kentucky.
00:06:18.180 Yes, you heard that correctly.
00:06:19.820 A man who stabbed a child to death so viciously that the blade bent and who then tried to kill the child's siblings and his father
00:06:27.560 is a nonviolent offender is a nonviolent offender in Kentucky.
00:06:32.700 Now, I'm going to quote directly from the Kentucky Parole Board spokeswoman in her conversation with my producers.
00:06:40.200 This is what she said, quoting directly.
00:06:44.080 Quote,
00:06:44.520 That's what we were told.
00:07:05.660 Nonviolent offender.
00:07:07.160 To put it another way, if you're a nonviolent offender in Kentucky, you only have to serve 20% of your sentence.
00:07:14.620 If you're a violent offender, you have to serve 85%, which is still too low, by the way.
00:07:20.640 Why not 100%?
00:07:22.820 Why don't we just require every violent offender to serve 100% of their sentence?
00:07:27.340 In fact, why don't we require every nonviolent offender?
00:07:30.100 This was your sentence.
00:07:31.300 Why shouldn't you serve it?
00:07:33.000 20% is ridiculous.
00:07:34.540 Leaving aside the fact that this obviously was not a nonviolent crime.
00:07:40.000 And as it turns out, a conviction for second degree assault, which is what Ronald Exantis received for attacking the father and his children, is considered nonviolent.
00:07:51.520 So the murder of the child in Kentucky doesn't count because he was not guilty by reason of insanity.
00:07:59.840 So we just pretend that it didn't happen.
00:08:01.700 And then the rest of the crime is nonviolent.
00:08:09.040 You know, breaking in and assaulting the family is nonviolent.
00:08:13.420 Now, you know, when we heard this, to me, I react the same way you did, which is like, that can't possibly be true.
00:08:21.220 What do you mean he's a nonviolent offender?
00:08:23.080 But indeed, apparently, from what I can tell, that is the law of the land.
00:08:30.120 In Kentucky, you can stomp on somebody's head, breaking their bones and forcing them to black out, and you'll still be considered a nonviolent offender.
00:08:38.420 That happened in a recent case.
00:08:39.580 Only if you're convicted of first degree assault, as opposed to second degree assault, are you considered violent.
00:08:47.060 And the only difference between first degree and second degree assault is that in first degree assault, you inflict grave, life-threatening injuries that bring somebody to the brink of death.
00:08:56.920 Second degree assault is everything else.
00:08:59.120 Every other kind of assault that does not result in absolute imminent life-threatening injuries is second degree.
00:09:10.040 And all those kinds of assault are apparently nonviolent.
00:09:14.060 You are nonviolent if you violently attack somebody, as long as your violent attack doesn't leave their head, like, dangling from their neck, basically.
00:09:22.460 Oh, and by the way, if you're a nonviolent felon, then you can keep your voting rights, too.
00:09:28.640 You also have a much easier time getting your record expunged.
00:09:31.680 So there are perks to being a violent psychopath who happens to be nonviolent at the same time, somehow.
00:09:38.900 Now, this law, which has been approved several times by the Kentucky legislature over the past decade, obviously must change immediately.
00:09:47.840 Every lawmaker in the state must answer why it hasn't already been changed.
00:09:51.940 You have to explain to us how this is, how have you allowed this to be possible?
00:09:57.820 The idea that a home invader who violently attacks every single one of the victims, who breaks into a house and attacks every member of the family, including the children, is really nonviolent, is such an obviously outrageous suggestion that no reasonable person can possibly defend it.
00:10:18.780 And yet, it's in the law.
00:10:21.940 It's a thing that no one can possibly defend, makes no sense at all, and yet, there it is.
00:10:28.800 The only rational assumption that can be made, or the most generous assumption that can be made, is that lawmakers in Kentucky didn't realize what they voted for.
00:10:39.600 They signed off on the legislation without thinking through the implications or, you know, reading the legislation.
00:10:44.740 That's the best case scenario, which is still inexcusable.
00:10:49.680 The worst case scenario, of course, is that they want exactly this.
00:10:53.880 They want child killers to go free as quickly as possible.
00:10:55.960 And you'd hate to think that that is a possibility, but it's hard to come to any other conclusion, especially if they don't change the law immediately.
00:11:04.420 Keep in mind that the Ronald Exantis case is, for those of us not in Kentucky, is a new case.
00:11:11.400 Like, maybe we hadn't heard of this before.
00:11:12.940 I hadn't heard of it.
00:11:13.680 But it's not a new case.
00:11:16.680 This happened, he was convicted of his non-violent offense in 2018.
00:11:21.500 He was found not guilty by reason of insanity, quote-unquote, in 2018.
00:11:27.180 Kentucky lawmakers have had since 2018, at least, to respond to this outrage by changing the law, and they haven't.
00:11:34.520 At the same time, it's also not the case that the Kentucky Parole Board is absolved of all responsibility here.
00:11:44.000 Okay, they do not get off the hook.
00:11:45.760 I want to be very clear about that.
00:11:48.780 So, if you've been calling and criticizing the Kentucky Parole Board and demanding accountability and letting them know how you feel, you should keep doing that.
00:11:58.880 You shouldn't make threats, obviously.
00:12:00.740 Nobody condones that.
00:12:01.640 But, that's wrong, and it's also very counterproductive.
00:12:06.500 But, if you're asking for accountability, if you're asking for answers, yeah, you should absolutely still be doing that.
00:12:12.980 Now, it's true that for non-violent offenders, very large sentencing reductions are possible.
00:12:18.660 Let's put that section of the law up on the screen.
00:12:21.600 As you can see, inmates can receive 10 days of credit for each month served if they behave well.
00:12:27.280 They can receive seven days of credit per month if they perform meritorious service while in prison.
00:12:33.140 And, they can receive another seven days of credit per month if they do something exceptional during an emergency.
00:12:39.700 And, additionally, inmates can receive roughly half a year in education credit and a drug treatment program.
00:12:44.660 Now, you add this all together, throw in some time served, and it's not unusual from a purely mathematical perspective for somebody with a, you know, the way this is set up, somebody with a 20-year sentence getting out of prison in less than a decade is, yeah, that's how it's set up, is for that to happen.
00:13:04.060 But, the parole board still doesn't have to unleash child killers on the public with no strings attached.
00:13:13.340 It's true the law indicates that the state shall release inmates once their credits allow for it, but the parole board is entitled to add conditions on a case-by-case basis that the convict has to follow after he's been released.
00:13:26.120 And, if any of those conditions are violated, he has to go back to jail.
00:13:28.780 Quote, upon intake of an inmate ordered to mandatory re-entry supervision by the board, the department shall establish appropriate terms and conditions of supervision.
00:13:40.600 What are the appropriate terms and conditions on Ronald Exantis?
00:13:47.120 What conditions were placed, if any?
00:13:49.820 Now, we don't know the answer to that question.
00:13:51.300 The parole board hasn't said anything about it, and they haven't responded to our questions on that topic either.
00:13:55.460 And, that suggests, of course, that no serious conditions were imposed.
00:14:00.380 I mean, if they were, then you'd think that they would say that in their statement, where they're self-pitying, woe is me, stop being mean to us.
00:14:07.260 You think they'd say in that statement, hey, we imposed the harshest possible conditions on this guy that we possibly could.
00:14:13.500 And, you know what?
00:14:14.140 If he steps out of line even an inch, he's gone back to prison, and we made sure of it.
00:14:19.520 They didn't say that.
00:14:20.380 So, we can assume that didn't happen, that there was no severe restrictions, or at least nothing out of the ordinary was imposed.
00:14:27.860 And, if that's the case, it's yet another travesty of justice in this case, one of many.
00:14:34.300 Any reasonable parole board would do everything in its power to put this killer back in prison.
00:14:39.860 If the law requires his release, if that's true, that their hands were tied, there was nothing they could do,
00:14:49.220 then you still have the capability to do everything in your power to protect the community with the most demanding, restrictive post-release conditions imaginable.
00:15:00.080 And, in the meantime, you should be calling for a change in the law.
00:15:05.600 It shouldn't fall to podcast hosts from out-of-state and people on Twitter to do that for you.
00:15:14.000 If the Kentucky parole board was really forced by the law, forced, to release Ronald Exantis,
00:15:19.780 why haven't they all been in front of cameras every day, screaming to the heavens about this outrage that they were forced by law to participate in?
00:15:28.120 If that were me, and I'm on the parole board, and you're telling me I have to release, I can't, I don't even get a vote?
00:15:36.660 I'd be out in front of cameras every single day, saying, look at what happened.
00:15:40.260 I mean, I wouldn't wait for you to find out in the news.
00:15:42.940 I wouldn't wait for people to call me outraged.
00:15:46.720 I'd be going to them and saying, you guys should be outraged about this.
00:15:49.540 Look at what's happening.
00:15:51.880 Why aren't they working tirelessly to make changes to the law?
00:15:56.520 Why?
00:15:58.120 I mean, you know what I would actually do?
00:15:59.700 You know what you would do?
00:16:00.480 What any normal person would do?
00:16:02.740 If you're on the parole board, and this child killer is brought before you,
00:16:06.520 and you're told you have to rubber stamp his release, and you don't have a choice,
00:16:11.360 you know what any normal, decent, good person would do?
00:16:13.840 You resign.
00:16:14.940 You say, I am not going to put my stamp on this.
00:16:16.940 I am not going to be a part of it.
00:16:18.200 I will resign in protest.
00:16:20.100 There is no way, I don't care what the law says,
00:16:22.320 there is no way that my name is going to be on this.
00:16:25.160 So I am going to resign, and I am going to go to the public,
00:16:28.120 and I am going to tell them about this,
00:16:29.760 and we are going to rally support, we are going to change this law.
00:16:33.920 Did any of them do that?
00:16:37.180 No, just saying, well, the law made me do it.
00:16:39.900 Sorry, not good enough.
00:16:41.300 Sorry, not good enough.
00:16:42.760 There are many things that they could have done, and should have done,
00:16:47.580 if they wanted to be the good guys in this situation.
00:16:50.360 They didn't do any of those things.
00:16:54.540 And the most important change that needs to be made,
00:16:56.720 and this is true across the country, and not just in Kentucky,
00:16:59.540 is that the so-called insanity defense
00:17:02.840 must be, at a minimum,
00:17:07.620 drastically reined in,
00:17:09.300 if not abolished entirely.
00:17:10.540 Okay, the insanity defense
00:17:13.300 is insane in and of itself,
00:17:15.520 and we don't even realize,
00:17:18.820 we can't wrap our head around
00:17:20.560 just how
00:17:23.180 bad it's gotten,
00:17:25.400 and how many
00:17:27.420 psychotic killers
00:17:29.500 are currently walking around in our communities
00:17:31.960 because of this.
00:17:34.860 And look,
00:17:35.720 we didn't always have insanity defenses
00:17:37.720 in this country.
00:17:38.440 In the early 19th century,
00:17:39.460 when juries acquitted somebody
00:17:40.660 because he was insane,
00:17:42.400 it was really a form of jury nullification.
00:17:44.700 They were excusing a crime of passion,
00:17:46.740 usually.
00:17:47.560 That's usually what it meant,
00:17:48.380 like when Daniel Sickles,
00:17:50.400 a congressman,
00:17:51.340 shot the attorney general of D.C.
00:17:52.880 because he was having an affair with his wife.
00:17:55.560 And they said it was a crime of passion.
00:17:58.200 And later on,
00:17:58.940 when states adopted a formal definition of insanity,
00:18:01.260 they didn't all agree
00:18:02.700 on the same precise rules,
00:18:04.580 and they still don't.
00:18:05.300 But today,
00:18:06.660 by far,
00:18:07.140 the most widely used definition of insanity
00:18:09.040 in most states
00:18:09.960 and in most courtrooms,
00:18:11.720 including in Kentucky,
00:18:13.080 involves a two-part test.
00:18:15.260 So if a defendant fails either prong of the test,
00:18:18.780 then he's insane
00:18:19.560 and can be acquitted,
00:18:21.760 can be found not guilty,
00:18:22.740 based on it.
00:18:23.560 And here are the two prongs,
00:18:24.820 okay?
00:18:25.900 Prong number one,
00:18:27.640 does the defendant
00:18:28.680 understand the nature and quality of the act
00:18:31.720 that he has committed?
00:18:32.740 In other words,
00:18:33.740 instead of firing a gun,
00:18:35.740 did he think that he was,
00:18:37.000 you know,
00:18:37.440 blowing a feather
00:18:38.780 or firing a super soaker or something?
00:18:42.600 Right?
00:18:42.880 Did he have no clue
00:18:43.780 what he was even doing?
00:18:45.760 And if the defendant fails this test,
00:18:47.580 then he's insane under the law
00:18:48.980 and can be found not guilty
00:18:50.540 by reason of insanity.
00:18:52.020 Now, of course,
00:18:52.380 one of the big problems
00:18:53.220 is that you can't possibly know
00:18:56.040 whether he understood what he was doing.
00:18:58.920 I mean,
00:18:59.460 they can have all the fancy tests
00:19:00.600 they want to have,
00:19:01.360 but at the end of the day,
00:19:03.420 it really comes down to
00:19:04.740 the honor system.
00:19:06.580 Like,
00:19:06.980 it comes down to
00:19:07.700 asking the guy,
00:19:09.240 did he understand
00:19:10.160 what he was doing?
00:19:11.660 Because there's no way
00:19:12.900 to read his mind,
00:19:13.760 you especially can't read his mind
00:19:15.400 after the fact.
00:19:18.140 So how do you know
00:19:19.000 whether he knew
00:19:19.520 what he was doing?
00:19:20.060 The only way to do it,
00:19:21.220 I mean,
00:19:21.360 they can have,
00:19:22.340 and they'll object
00:19:23.220 and they'll say,
00:19:23.880 whoa,
00:19:24.080 we don't just ask.
00:19:25.340 Yeah,
00:19:25.580 but that's basically what you do
00:19:26.700 because that's all you can do.
00:19:27.660 And, of course,
00:19:30.820 the criminal has every incentive
00:19:31.920 to lie.
00:19:34.220 But even if a defendant
00:19:35.320 does understand
00:19:36.320 what he's done,
00:19:36.840 he still has
00:19:37.400 a potential insanity defense.
00:19:39.880 Okay,
00:19:40.020 so this could be someone
00:19:40.880 who says,
00:19:42.340 yeah,
00:19:42.460 I shot him.
00:19:44.160 Yeah,
00:19:44.540 I stabbed that child.
00:19:47.160 And they could still be insane
00:19:48.500 because that brings us
00:19:50.100 to the second prong.
00:19:50.820 The second prong is,
00:19:51.580 did the defendant know
00:19:52.700 that what he was doing
00:19:54.180 was wrong?
00:19:55.120 Or was he so far gone
00:19:56.620 that he couldn't distinguish
00:19:57.760 right from wrong?
00:19:59.660 And if that's the case,
00:20:00.540 then he's insane.
00:20:01.180 And under the law in Kentucky,
00:20:02.520 he can't be held responsible
00:20:04.060 for murdering a child.
00:20:07.020 Under the law in Kentucky
00:20:08.100 and in many other states,
00:20:09.580 that lets you off the hook
00:20:11.100 so completely
00:20:12.140 that it doesn't even count.
00:20:14.860 That now you're not,
00:20:16.660 you count as a nonviolent person.
00:20:18.320 Like we just pretend
00:20:19.220 it never happened.
00:20:19.960 It's like it never happened.
00:20:20.980 Now the second prong,
00:20:25.420 at least,
00:20:26.800 should be eliminated
00:20:28.120 from the law completely.
00:20:29.620 Okay,
00:20:29.800 so that's my,
00:20:31.720 I'm making,
00:20:32.980 this is my actual suggestion
00:20:34.440 of how to reform this law.
00:20:36.700 Really,
00:20:37.180 I'd like to see it
00:20:37.640 gotten rid of completely,
00:20:38.520 but if you're going to have it,
00:20:40.140 that second prong
00:20:41.100 should not exist.
00:20:43.040 It's far too easy to abuse
00:20:45.040 and everybody should be able
00:20:46.600 to see why.
00:20:47.480 Someone who doesn't understand
00:20:49.160 right from wrong
00:20:50.100 that is not insane.
00:20:55.860 That's not a medical condition.
00:20:59.580 There's a word we used to use
00:21:01.960 for people like that.
00:21:03.180 You know what the word was?
00:21:04.780 Evil.
00:21:06.860 Okay,
00:21:07.480 nobody commits an evil act
00:21:09.380 thinking or admitting
00:21:11.200 to themselves that it's evil.
00:21:13.860 Unless you're a supervillain
00:21:15.320 in a comic book,
00:21:16.560 you are not hatching
00:21:18.260 some evil plot
00:21:19.640 that you say to yourself,
00:21:21.220 this is evil
00:21:21.920 and I'm going to do it
00:21:22.640 because I want to do
00:21:23.280 an evil thing.
00:21:24.880 That's not the way it works.
00:21:26.900 Every atrocity,
00:21:28.940 every genocide,
00:21:30.480 every mass shooting,
00:21:32.520 all of it
00:21:34.120 has been committed
00:21:35.780 by someone
00:21:36.560 who believed
00:21:37.460 or told themselves
00:21:38.640 that it was
00:21:40.500 for some reason
00:21:41.760 necessary
00:21:42.980 or justified.
00:21:43.760 every single one.
00:21:47.880 So if that's the definition
00:21:49.080 of insane,
00:21:50.060 then every evil act
00:21:52.060 that's ever been committed
00:21:54.080 is an act of insanity
00:21:55.640 and nobody should ever
00:21:57.320 be punished for anything.
00:21:59.740 I mean,
00:22:00.020 the idea,
00:22:00.760 just think about the idea.
00:22:02.660 Think about this.
00:22:04.320 What we're saying,
00:22:05.420 so you go and kill someone
00:22:06.640 and then the judge asks,
00:22:07.780 well,
00:22:07.860 did you think it was wrong?
00:22:08.980 No,
00:22:09.260 I didn't.
00:22:09.740 Okay,
00:22:10.140 well,
00:22:10.520 never mind then.
00:22:11.460 See you later.
00:22:11.940 Head on back out
00:22:13.100 to the community.
00:22:14.060 Go ahead,
00:22:14.360 move back into your house
00:22:15.280 and live now.
00:22:15.700 Yeah,
00:22:15.860 sure.
00:22:16.960 No,
00:22:17.180 it's okay,
00:22:17.540 everybody.
00:22:18.000 This is someone
00:22:18.640 who doesn't think
00:22:19.260 it's wrong to kill people.
00:22:20.820 So then it's okay
00:22:21.960 for them to be out
00:22:22.620 in the community.
00:22:24.540 I mean,
00:22:24.960 I'm not exaggerating.
00:22:25.780 That is literally
00:22:26.360 what we're doing.
00:22:28.060 And we've been doing it
00:22:28.880 for decades
00:22:29.420 and no one is doing
00:22:30.620 anything to change it.
00:22:32.880 People are dying
00:22:33.820 like every day
00:22:34.780 because of this sort of thing
00:22:35.760 and no one is changing it.
00:22:37.500 There is no serious effort
00:22:38.800 to change it at all
00:22:39.760 anywhere,
00:22:40.740 period.
00:22:41.940 Once you start
00:22:45.400 making excuses
00:22:46.100 for people
00:22:46.580 who can't separate
00:22:47.320 right from wrong
00:22:48.040 and pretend
00:22:48.540 that they're victims
00:22:49.300 in need of some therapy
00:22:50.420 and some pills,
00:22:51.680 you provide a ready-made
00:22:53.660 excuse,
00:22:54.560 legal defense,
00:22:55.280 for some of the most
00:22:56.100 evil and dangerous
00:22:56.960 psychopaths on the planet.
00:22:59.100 In the case of
00:22:59.940 Ronald Exantis,
00:23:00.660 the defense team
00:23:01.300 wasn't even able
00:23:02.980 to demonstrate
00:23:03.560 that he suffered
00:23:04.280 from any specific
00:23:04.980 mental disorder.
00:23:06.320 As ridiculous
00:23:07.180 as those two prongs
00:23:08.380 are,
00:23:10.340 Ronald Exantis
00:23:10.860 didn't even clear
00:23:11.820 either of those hurdles.
00:23:15.680 He knew what he was doing
00:23:16.660 and he knew
00:23:16.960 that it was wrong.
00:23:17.460 We talked about this yesterday.
00:23:18.560 He was on the record
00:23:19.580 saying that this was wrong
00:23:21.320 right after it happened.
00:23:24.720 And he still got off.
00:23:28.380 All the defense team
00:23:29.180 had to do
00:23:29.500 was argue
00:23:29.920 that he suffered
00:23:30.600 from some kind
00:23:31.200 of vague
00:23:31.840 mental fog.
00:23:34.440 And that was enough
00:23:35.340 for an acquittal
00:23:36.480 on first-degree murder.
00:23:37.300 And defense lawyers
00:23:39.820 have been adopting
00:23:40.420 this strategy
00:23:40.900 for a very long time.
00:23:41.940 This is nothing new.
00:23:42.720 This has been happening
00:23:43.080 for a very long time.
00:23:44.080 When John Wayne Gacy
00:23:45.080 was on trial
00:23:45.740 for murdering dozens
00:23:46.560 of young men and boys
00:23:47.500 and burying their bodies
00:23:48.920 in a cross base
00:23:49.640 and tossing them
00:23:50.200 in the river,
00:23:51.240 his lawyers argued
00:23:52.340 that he was insane.
00:23:53.220 And after all,
00:23:53.700 I mean,
00:23:53.860 what kind of person
00:23:54.500 would murder
00:23:55.320 so many people?
00:23:56.120 Who would do this?
00:23:58.080 Clearly,
00:23:58.640 you're not mentally well
00:23:59.740 if you did this.
00:24:01.000 I was like,
00:24:01.820 we don't need to sit down
00:24:02.720 and do any tests.
00:24:04.180 That's the other thing
00:24:04.660 that's so ridiculous
00:24:05.180 about this.
00:24:05.660 So you got a serial killer
00:24:07.620 murdered a bunch
00:24:08.220 of young boys
00:24:08.800 and then you sit down
00:24:09.960 and do a Rorschach test
00:24:11.340 to find out
00:24:12.040 if he's mentally normal?
00:24:14.600 No,
00:24:14.980 I can tell you
00:24:15.520 that he's not
00:24:15.980 because,
00:24:16.620 well,
00:24:16.960 look what he did.
00:24:19.460 And then the next question
00:24:20.520 is,
00:24:20.800 so what?
00:24:21.900 What does that have
00:24:22.280 to do with anything?
00:24:25.220 Obviously,
00:24:26.340 you know,
00:24:26.660 and the argument
00:24:27.520 that even in that case
00:24:28.920 the defense lawyer made
00:24:29.700 was,
00:24:29.960 well,
00:24:30.040 he didn't know
00:24:30.520 right from wrong.
00:24:32.360 He must not have understood
00:24:33.640 precisely what he was doing.
00:24:35.660 In the same way
00:24:36.480 that all of us do.
00:24:39.020 Now,
00:24:39.460 in Gacy's case,
00:24:40.160 the jury thankfully
00:24:40.920 didn't buy it.
00:24:42.580 But in other similar cases,
00:24:44.460 they did.
00:24:44.840 Take the case of Albert Fish,
00:24:46.500 for example.
00:24:47.040 In the 1920s,
00:24:48.580 again,
00:24:48.800 it's been going on
00:24:49.220 for a long time.
00:24:50.340 He murdered
00:24:51.300 and molested
00:24:51.860 several children.
00:24:52.600 He was also a cannibal.
00:24:53.720 And the crimes
00:24:54.160 are too horrific
00:24:54.640 to describe.
00:24:55.400 But the point is,
00:24:56.020 at trial,
00:24:57.120 a psychiatrist
00:24:57.720 was asked whether Fish
00:24:59.100 knew the difference
00:24:59.780 between right and wrong.
00:25:00.500 And the psychiatrist
00:25:01.440 responded
00:25:02.040 that he did know
00:25:03.300 the difference
00:25:03.780 but that his knowledge
00:25:04.640 was,
00:25:05.140 quote,
00:25:05.540 perverted
00:25:05.960 based on his opinion
00:25:07.040 of sin,
00:25:07.660 atonement,
00:25:08.040 and religion
00:25:08.560 and thus
00:25:09.220 was an insane knowledge.
00:25:12.780 An insane knowledge.
00:25:16.600 Yeah,
00:25:16.840 he knew what he was doing
00:25:17.520 but he knew it insanely.
00:25:21.020 Now,
00:25:21.220 it's obviously hard
00:25:21.980 to make sense
00:25:22.580 of what that means.
00:25:23.540 It's doublespeak.
00:25:24.340 Insane knowledge
00:25:26.580 is like a,
00:25:27.260 is a,
00:25:28.060 you know,
00:25:29.960 contradiction in terms.
00:25:32.660 But,
00:25:33.200 and a big part
00:25:34.660 of the problem
00:25:35.200 with the insanity offense
00:25:36.120 in general,
00:25:36.980 in many cases,
00:25:38.080 is that psychopaths
00:25:39.320 will think
00:25:40.180 they're doing something
00:25:41.040 that's right.
00:25:41.700 Again,
00:25:42.000 that's why
00:25:43.400 they're psychopaths.
00:25:45.580 They might not understand,
00:25:47.020 you know,
00:25:47.340 general norms
00:25:48.000 about right and wrong either.
00:25:50.280 So what do we do
00:25:51.080 with them?
00:25:52.840 Well,
00:25:53.300 in the case of Albert Fish,
00:25:54.320 you know,
00:25:54.940 the jury had a solution.
00:25:56.040 They decided that
00:25:56.900 Fish was insane
00:25:58.820 by any conventional definition.
00:26:02.280 They agreed.
00:26:03.180 They said,
00:26:03.600 well,
00:26:03.720 yeah,
00:26:03.860 he's a cannibal
00:26:04.680 and he's killing children.
00:26:06.680 Yeah,
00:26:07.040 he's probably insane.
00:26:09.460 But,
00:26:10.020 you know what they did?
00:26:10.760 They convicted him anyway.
00:26:12.920 They simply discarded
00:26:14.240 all of the ridiculous
00:26:15.300 contortions about insanity
00:26:16.760 that the lawyers
00:26:18.080 were talking about
00:26:19.020 and they convicted him anyway.
00:26:21.780 And Albert Fish
00:26:22.400 was sent to the electric chair
00:26:23.640 and he was executed
00:26:24.540 and that was the end of him.
00:26:27.780 That's how
00:26:28.380 every criminal defendant
00:26:29.460 who commits
00:26:29.980 a depraved act
00:26:30.720 of psychopathic violence
00:26:32.260 like Ronald Xantis
00:26:33.020 should be treated
00:26:34.040 by our legal system
00:26:35.140 from now on.
00:26:37.480 Forget the academic
00:26:38.500 discussions of insanity
00:26:39.740 and who,
00:26:41.020 you know,
00:26:41.240 who understands
00:26:41.940 right and wrong
00:26:42.600 and who doesn't.
00:26:44.200 If a criminal commits
00:26:45.160 a heinous
00:26:45.700 and unspeakable
00:26:46.240 act of violence,
00:26:46.920 he should be executed.
00:26:48.880 That's it.
00:26:50.340 This is an approach
00:26:51.280 that we need to adopt
00:26:52.120 as quickly as possible
00:26:52.940 because every other day
00:26:53.980 a new violent felon
00:26:55.600 is being released
00:26:56.380 from prison
00:26:56.860 or not tried at all
00:26:58.000 on the basis
00:26:59.020 of a fraudulent
00:26:59.900 insanity defense.
00:27:00.980 Just a few weeks ago
00:27:01.900 we discussed the case
00:27:02.800 of an 18-year-old
00:27:04.740 named Cora Vidas
00:27:05.900 who ambushed her friend
00:27:07.600 for no apparent reason
00:27:08.520 in her home,
00:27:09.780 stabbed her friend
00:27:10.360 so many times
00:27:11.100 in the neck
00:27:11.580 that she lost
00:27:12.260 her ability to speak.
00:27:13.900 And at trial
00:27:14.540 she was found
00:27:15.200 not guilty
00:27:15.840 by reason of insanity
00:27:16.680 which in California
00:27:17.580 means that she could
00:27:18.600 be out of prison
00:27:19.320 in a few months.
00:27:22.100 And there's this case
00:27:22.760 from Aurora, Colorado.
00:27:24.120 A man, quote,
00:27:24.920 a man accused
00:27:25.480 of attempting
00:27:25.900 to kidnap
00:27:26.380 an elementary school student
00:27:27.300 during recess last year
00:27:28.440 is expected
00:27:29.500 to have his charges dropped
00:27:30.580 according to multiple outlets.
00:27:32.340 The 18th Judicial
00:27:33.060 District Attorney's Office
00:27:33.920 of Colorado
00:27:34.380 intends to dismiss charges
00:27:36.640 against Solomon Galligan.
00:27:38.420 The 33-year-old
00:27:39.320 was arrested
00:27:39.960 and charged
00:27:40.460 with attempted kidnapping
00:27:41.360 in April 2024.
00:27:42.480 Eric Ross,
00:27:42.960 the spokesperson
00:27:43.320 for the district attorney's office
00:27:45.660 shared that a doctor
00:27:46.820 has found Galligan
00:27:47.620 incompetent to stand trial.
00:27:49.860 Authorities said Galligan
00:27:50.620 has a criminal history
00:27:51.520 which includes
00:27:52.740 a 2012 conviction
00:27:53.720 for failing to register
00:27:54.860 as a sex offender.
00:27:57.420 Now, in cases like this,
00:27:58.240 the defendant goes
00:27:58.940 to a psychiatric facility
00:28:00.260 then at some point
00:28:01.580 in the future
00:28:02.000 he's released
00:28:02.880 with no criminal record.
00:28:06.780 That's it.
00:28:07.800 That's what happened
00:28:08.580 with Ronald Exantis.
00:28:09.980 He was found
00:28:10.560 not guilty
00:28:11.060 by reason of insanity
00:28:11.960 for murdering
00:28:12.580 Logan Tipton.
00:28:13.200 In theory,
00:28:13.840 that means he'd have
00:28:15.040 to spend an indefinite
00:28:16.160 period of time
00:28:16.720 in a psychiatric hospital
00:28:17.740 but in practice
00:28:18.420 after he stops
00:28:19.060 taking drugs
00:28:19.660 he's suddenly normal again
00:28:21.500 so he's allowed
00:28:23.780 to go free.
00:28:25.340 That's the way it goes.
00:28:27.020 Here's a similar story
00:28:27.820 from the New York Post.
00:28:28.680 A woman who authorities
00:28:29.640 say fatally stabbed
00:28:30.580 a three-year-old boy
00:28:31.480 as he sat in a grocery cart
00:28:33.060 outside of an Ohio supermarket
00:28:34.580 and wounded his mother
00:28:35.420 has been found
00:28:36.800 incompetent to stand trial.
00:28:39.600 Cuyahoga County
00:28:41.240 Common Pleas Judge
00:28:42.640 John Rousseau
00:28:43.460 issued the ruling
00:28:45.040 on Friday
00:28:45.480 said that
00:28:46.040 Bianca Ellis
00:28:46.860 of Cleveland
00:28:47.740 will remain
00:28:48.280 hospitalized indefinitely
00:28:49.360 and could eventually
00:28:50.840 stand trial
00:28:51.420 if she improves.
00:28:54.600 Or maybe they just
00:28:55.540 release her
00:28:56.040 one of these days.
00:28:58.340 They probably will.
00:28:59.440 That's the way
00:28:59.740 these things go.
00:29:02.000 We shouldn't have to
00:29:03.000 wait for a trial
00:29:03.880 in any of these cases.
00:29:05.160 We shouldn't
00:29:05.400 give doctors
00:29:07.600 any leeway
00:29:08.280 to unleash
00:29:09.100 these killers
00:29:09.680 on the public.
00:29:11.760 Nor should we
00:29:12.620 allow parole boards
00:29:13.760 to tally up
00:29:14.460 good time credits
00:29:15.360 so that criminals
00:29:16.120 are released
00:29:16.600 ten years early.
00:29:18.920 There should be
00:29:19.880 an immediate trial
00:29:21.000 within a week.
00:29:23.140 Especially in a case
00:29:24.180 when the guilt
00:29:25.040 is beyond
00:29:26.340 any doubt
00:29:27.400 whatsoever.
00:29:28.780 We know they did it.
00:29:30.840 No question about it.
00:29:33.480 So you have the trial.
00:29:35.080 We still have trials
00:29:36.080 in this country.
00:29:36.660 You have the trial.
00:29:37.900 Have it quickly.
00:29:38.560 And if you're
00:29:40.000 found guilty
00:29:40.480 of killing a child
00:29:41.240 or trying to
00:29:41.880 kill a child
00:29:42.400 then you should
00:29:44.380 die.
00:29:46.040 Quickly.
00:29:48.360 That's a very
00:29:49.120 workable system.
00:29:50.440 We've had it
00:29:51.200 in the past.
00:29:52.140 We should adopt it
00:29:53.180 again.
00:29:53.480 There is no downside
00:29:54.640 at all.
00:29:55.740 Except the
00:29:56.420 considerable downside
00:29:57.360 experienced by
00:29:58.120 the child killers.
00:29:58.960 But if your
00:29:59.880 first priority
00:30:00.620 in dealing
00:30:01.080 with child killers
00:30:01.780 is to protect
00:30:02.500 them from
00:30:03.060 uncomfortable
00:30:03.580 experiences
00:30:04.260 if the first
00:30:06.320 thing you're
00:30:06.660 worried about
00:30:07.160 is how they're
00:30:07.900 going to feel
00:30:08.320 then you are
00:30:10.260 nearly as evil
00:30:11.300 as they are.
00:30:12.300 And I mean
00:30:12.780 that sincerely.
00:30:14.860 In the meantime
00:30:15.640 in Kentucky
00:30:16.160 everyone from
00:30:17.000 state legislatures
00:30:18.000 to legislators
00:30:19.400 to the parole
00:30:20.020 board
00:30:20.360 all of them
00:30:21.960 need to take
00:30:23.000 action immediately
00:30:23.740 so that Ronald
00:30:24.420 Exantis
00:30:24.840 and everyone
00:30:25.380 like him
00:30:25.900 is returned
00:30:26.500 to prison
00:30:26.860 as quickly
00:30:27.260 as possible.
00:30:28.580 Stop pretending
00:30:29.260 that violent
00:30:29.940 attacks where
00:30:30.720 somebody clearly
00:30:31.400 tries to kill
00:30:32.000 another person
00:30:32.640 or does kill
00:30:33.900 another person
00:30:34.400 are somehow
00:30:35.000 non-violent.
00:30:36.820 Stop conflating
00:30:37.780 evil with
00:30:38.360 insanity.
00:30:40.160 And above all
00:30:41.100 stop conflating
00:30:41.800 insanity with
00:30:42.760 something that
00:30:43.480 anyone in society
00:30:44.400 should have to
00:30:44.960 deal with.
00:30:47.240 Once you are
00:30:48.120 insane to the
00:30:49.000 point that you
00:30:49.740 kill or attempt
00:30:50.520 to kill another
00:30:51.060 human being
00:30:51.480 you deserve the
00:30:52.680 Albert Fish
00:30:53.140 treatment.
00:30:54.360 Nothing more
00:30:55.100 nothing less.
00:30:57.000 Now your lawyers
00:30:57.540 can prattle on
00:30:58.440 about how you're
00:30:59.120 nuts and how you
00:31:00.860 have no idea
00:31:01.380 what's going on
00:31:02.220 and you didn't
00:31:02.660 understand what
00:31:03.280 you did and
00:31:03.880 you didn't
00:31:04.160 know right
00:31:04.560 from wrong.
00:31:07.200 They can do
00:31:07.720 that all they
00:31:08.060 want.
00:31:09.780 In response
00:31:10.580 we can and
00:31:11.280 we must do
00:31:12.580 exactly what the
00:31:13.160 jury in Albert
00:31:13.600 Fish's case did.
00:31:15.860 Don't listen to
00:31:16.480 a word of it.
00:31:17.980 Doesn't matter.
00:31:20.080 Oh he didn't
00:31:20.420 oh that's what
00:31:21.000 he was experiencing
00:31:21.680 okay well what
00:31:22.260 did he do?
00:31:22.900 Oh he killed
00:31:23.340 he murdered
00:31:24.180 someone in cold
00:31:24.800 blood okay well
00:31:25.440 that's all that
00:31:25.880 matters.
00:31:27.920 That's what
00:31:28.360 the jury should
00:31:28.740 do and then
00:31:29.360 you put them
00:31:29.720 to death.
00:31:31.160 And then once
00:31:31.920 we have a
00:31:32.240 system like
00:31:32.640 that then
00:31:34.540 and only
00:31:35.120 then will
00:31:36.560 we have some
00:31:37.100 semblance of
00:31:37.820 justice in our
00:31:39.120 country again.
00:31:41.700 Now let's get
00:31:42.320 to our five
00:31:42.720 headlines.
00:31:48.980 You know I
00:31:49.680 was shocked
00:31:50.100 to learn that
00:31:50.620 the liver is
00:31:51.240 actually the
00:31:51.740 second largest
00:31:52.520 organ in your
00:31:53.380 body and
00:31:54.160 handles over
00:31:54.800 500 different
00:31:55.620 functions yet we
00:31:56.540 barely even think
00:31:57.380 about it.
00:31:58.180 Here's the thing
00:31:58.700 though over 30%
00:31:59.600 of Americans have
00:32:00.360 a sluggish liver
00:32:01.160 and most of
00:32:01.760 us don't
00:32:02.060 even know
00:32:02.580 until it's
00:32:03.380 too late.
00:32:03.720 That's why I'm
00:32:04.320 excited to tell
00:32:04.960 you about
00:32:05.320 dose for your
00:32:06.200 liver.
00:32:06.800 This is not
00:32:07.500 just another
00:32:07.840 supplement it's
00:32:08.520 a science-backed
00:32:09.520 drinkable formula
00:32:10.240 that was
00:32:10.840 specifically created
00:32:11.520 to cleanse your
00:32:12.180 liver of unwanted
00:32:12.940 elements while
00:32:13.920 supporting digestion
00:32:14.640 and keeping your
00:32:15.260 body's natural
00:32:16.100 filter running
00:32:16.940 smoothly.
00:32:17.500 What really
00:32:18.060 impressed me
00:32:18.580 were the
00:32:19.080 clinical results.
00:32:20.080 In a double-blind
00:32:20.800 placebo-controlled
00:32:21.640 study dose for
00:32:22.820 your liver
00:32:23.040 actually lowered
00:32:23.880 liver enzyme
00:32:24.400 levels by 50%
00:32:25.940 and over 86%
00:32:27.180 of participants.
00:32:28.280 And get this
00:32:28.660 one shot is
00:32:29.360 equivalent to
00:32:29.980 17 shots of
00:32:30.940 turmeric juice.
00:32:31.940 When you stick
00:32:32.320 with dose over
00:32:32.860 time you can
00:32:33.760 experience some
00:32:34.240 incredible benefits
00:32:35.000 more energy
00:32:35.620 better digestion
00:32:36.380 reduced bloating
00:32:37.260 healthier liver
00:32:38.280 enzyme functions
00:32:39.080 less brain fog
00:32:40.080 and even better
00:32:40.940 sleep.
00:32:41.320 Plus it's
00:32:41.860 gluten-free
00:32:42.240 dairy-free
00:32:42.740 sugar-free
00:32:43.260 and vegan.

00:33:49.360 All right,
00:33:50.620 we've got a
00:33:50.880 couple of
00:33:51.420 quick headlines
00:33:52.740 today before
00:33:53.760 we get to
00:33:54.100 the cancellation.
00:33:55.900 Mayor Brandon
00:33:56.820 Johnson of
00:33:57.280 Chicago had
00:33:58.500 a big
00:33:58.960 announcement
00:33:59.280 yesterday.
00:34:00.040 Let's listen
00:34:00.660 to that.
00:34:01.780 Today we are
00:34:02.620 signing an
00:34:03.180 executive order
00:34:04.000 aimed at
00:34:05.420 reigning in
00:34:06.200 this out-of-control
00:34:07.000 administration.
00:34:08.540 The order
00:34:09.140 establishes
00:34:09.960 ice-free
00:34:10.960 zones.
00:34:12.380 That means
00:34:13.420 that city
00:34:14.160 property and
00:34:15.640 unwilling
00:34:16.500 private businesses
00:34:17.580 will no longer
00:34:18.860 serve as
00:34:19.800 staging grounds
00:34:20.800 for these
00:34:21.560 raids.
00:34:22.480 Here's a
00:34:23.160 little more
00:34:23.460 from the
00:34:23.680 Daily Wire.
00:34:24.160 Chicago
00:34:24.400 Democratic
00:34:24.840 Mayor Brandon
00:34:25.540 Johnson will
00:34:26.100 create ice-free
00:34:27.020 zones across
00:34:27.680 the sanctuary
00:34:28.160 city as the
00:34:30.200 Trump administration
00:34:30.880 continues its
00:34:31.520 immigration sweeps
00:34:32.360 while facing an
00:34:33.180 uptick in
00:34:33.620 violence.
00:34:34.600 The Windy
00:34:35.060 City's mayor
00:34:35.660 said during a
00:34:36.380 news conference
00:34:36.820 on Monday
00:34:37.260 that his
00:34:38.020 latest action
00:34:38.460 is focused
00:34:38.860 on reigning
00:34:39.340 in this
00:34:39.720 out-of-control
00:34:40.260 administration.
00:34:43.160 So basically
00:34:45.120 what we just
00:34:45.480 saw.
00:34:46.260 So this is
00:34:46.780 a treasonous
00:34:49.020 conspiracy
00:34:49.500 against the
00:34:50.020 United States
00:34:50.740 which he
00:34:51.980 is announcing
00:34:53.420 publicly and
00:34:54.420 proudly and
00:34:56.160 not for the
00:34:56.560 first time.
00:34:59.080 So my
00:34:59.500 question is
00:35:00.220 then, and
00:35:00.920 not to sound
00:35:01.320 like a broken
00:35:01.720 record, but
00:35:04.100 my question
00:35:04.620 is why is
00:35:06.280 he still a
00:35:08.000 free man?
00:35:09.220 Why hasn't
00:35:10.260 Brandon Johnson
00:35:10.900 been cuffed
00:35:11.900 and shackled?
00:35:12.380 Why isn't he
00:35:12.880 being dragged
00:35:13.540 in front of
00:35:13.940 cameras in
00:35:14.620 chains?
00:35:16.780 Why aren't
00:35:18.280 there leg
00:35:18.740 irons around
00:35:19.500 this guy
00:35:20.060 right now
00:35:21.000 as we
00:35:21.440 speak?
00:35:22.340 Why not?
00:35:23.660 Let me put
00:35:24.180 a point,
00:35:24.940 because if
00:35:25.320 you think
00:35:25.640 that, and
00:35:25.940 I think
00:35:26.180 that there
00:35:26.420 are still,
00:35:29.220 of course
00:35:29.540 everyone on
00:35:29.940 the left,
00:35:30.460 they're very
00:35:31.100 scandalized
00:35:31.600 any time I
00:35:32.240 talk like
00:35:32.600 that or
00:35:32.820 anyone talks
00:35:33.260 like that
00:35:33.880 because even
00:35:35.300 though they'll
00:35:35.680 try to put
00:35:36.060 Donald Trump
00:35:36.480 in prison for
00:35:37.160 crimes they
00:35:37.740 make up,
00:35:38.280 it's like,
00:35:38.920 well, the
00:35:39.400 moment you
00:35:39.740 try to hold
00:35:40.120 one of them
00:35:40.440 accountable,
00:35:40.760 then it's a
00:35:41.220 big scandal.
00:35:41.940 But I think
00:35:42.200 even conservatives,
00:35:43.900 many conservatives
00:35:44.580 think that this is,
00:35:45.880 you know,
00:35:46.380 it's a little
00:35:47.300 overdone.
00:35:48.460 Well, okay.
00:35:49.700 And this is a
00:35:50.240 response I get a lot
00:35:50.960 from even people
00:35:51.840 on the right.
00:35:52.420 They'll say,
00:35:52.760 oh, we're not
00:35:53.200 real.
00:35:53.560 You really
00:35:54.120 think, do you
00:35:54.880 honestly think
00:35:55.820 that Trump
00:35:57.220 should send in
00:35:57.820 federal agents,
00:35:59.160 break down his
00:35:59.820 door, put him
00:36:00.560 in handcuffs,
00:36:01.220 the mayor of
00:36:01.680 Chicago, and
00:36:02.180 arrest him?
00:36:02.740 You really
00:36:03.220 think?
00:36:03.680 Yes, I do.
00:36:05.380 Yes, that is
00:36:06.000 actually what he
00:36:06.860 should do in
00:36:07.720 real life.
00:36:09.400 And I think
00:36:10.940 here, so imagine
00:36:11.700 this hypothetical,
00:36:12.540 just to, I
00:36:13.440 think, clarify
00:36:14.540 things a little
00:36:15.120 bit.
00:36:15.260 So, imagine
00:36:17.500 that a
00:36:18.820 Republican
00:36:19.220 mayor, or
00:36:19.740 even a
00:36:20.080 Democrat
00:36:20.400 mayor, actually,
00:36:22.360 I think that
00:36:23.440 this would
00:36:23.800 apply for
00:36:24.520 either party.
00:36:26.680 Imagine that
00:36:27.580 any mayor
00:36:28.320 were to
00:36:29.460 announce that
00:36:31.360 he was
00:36:31.660 setting up
00:36:32.320 IRS free
00:36:33.500 zones in
00:36:35.180 his city.
00:36:36.020 And in
00:36:36.600 these IRS
00:36:37.160 free zones,
00:36:38.760 individuals and
00:36:41.020 businesses would
00:36:42.420 be exempt from
00:36:43.560 paying taxes.
00:36:44.180 tax evasion.
00:36:46.800 Imagine that
00:36:47.480 some city makes
00:36:49.100 the mistake of
00:36:49.580 making me the
00:36:50.100 mayor, somehow.
00:36:51.980 Imagine that
00:36:52.720 horrifying scenario.
00:36:55.360 And let's say I
00:36:56.020 get up and I
00:36:56.980 say, okay,
00:36:57.640 these are our
00:36:59.200 IRS free zones.
00:37:01.660 And if you're in
00:37:02.120 these zones, you
00:37:03.060 don't have to pay
00:37:03.520 federal taxes, any
00:37:04.700 of them.
00:37:05.020 And also, my
00:37:10.040 city is a
00:37:11.000 sanctuary city for
00:37:12.440 people guilty of
00:37:13.300 tax evasion.
00:37:14.080 If you commit
00:37:14.620 tax evasion, come
00:37:16.600 run to our city and
00:37:17.740 we won't let them
00:37:18.560 get you.
00:37:21.200 And if any IRS
00:37:22.700 agents show up to
00:37:24.520 try to collect,
00:37:26.500 well, we're going to
00:37:27.860 borrow them.
00:37:28.480 They won't be
00:37:28.920 allowed.
00:37:29.720 We're not going to
00:37:30.200 allow them in.
00:37:30.860 IRS free zone.
00:37:35.360 Sanctuary city.
00:37:38.980 So imagine that I
00:37:39.920 say that as the
00:37:40.580 mayor of this.
00:37:41.340 Here's my
00:37:41.920 question.
00:37:43.080 How long would
00:37:44.040 it take before
00:37:45.780 the, I'm not
00:37:46.440 asking if this
00:37:47.260 would happen, but
00:37:48.980 just how long
00:37:50.080 would it take
00:37:50.980 before the feds
00:37:51.860 are knocking down
00:37:52.560 my door and
00:37:54.000 carrying me away
00:37:54.820 in handcuffs?
00:37:55.360 Would it be a
00:37:58.220 day?
00:37:59.000 Like, do you
00:37:59.400 think I'd make
00:37:59.920 it a day from
00:38:01.460 the moment, let's
00:38:02.040 say I'd give that
00:38:02.680 press conference at
00:38:03.400 11 a.m. on a
00:38:04.520 Tuesday.
00:38:05.980 Do I make it to
00:38:06.840 dinner time before
00:38:08.820 I'm in a federal
00:38:09.360 prison?
00:38:12.900 Well, we all
00:38:13.460 know the answer.
00:38:17.120 The answer is
00:38:17.940 no.
00:38:18.380 I mean, it
00:38:18.860 would be, I
00:38:19.260 don't think I'd
00:38:19.860 make it off the
00:38:20.400 stage.
00:38:22.960 Like, I don't
00:38:23.540 even know if I'd
00:38:24.060 make it to prison
00:38:24.820 alive.
00:38:25.860 That is how
00:38:27.060 much they would
00:38:28.380 crack down.
00:38:29.260 I don't, I
00:38:31.480 think your life
00:38:32.640 is in danger at
00:38:33.980 that point.
00:38:36.620 I mean, they're
00:38:37.500 coming out guns
00:38:38.420 drawn like an
00:38:39.580 army of them.
00:38:40.740 And you make
00:38:41.460 one false move
00:38:42.420 and it's
00:38:44.060 goodnight.
00:38:44.600 I mean, that
00:38:45.140 is the amount
00:38:45.760 of force they
00:38:46.620 would use in
00:38:48.220 the scenario I
00:38:49.480 just described.
00:38:52.100 And whatever the
00:38:53.040 exact time frame
00:38:53.820 and however much
00:38:54.540 force they
00:38:54.940 use, what is
00:38:55.700 clear at any
00:38:56.400 rate is that
00:38:58.080 I'd be in
00:38:59.740 prison for
00:39:00.360 that, for
00:39:01.060 sure.
00:39:01.420 No question
00:39:02.000 about it.
00:39:02.660 No question
00:39:03.280 about it.
00:39:03.860 I'm getting
00:39:04.840 arrested.
00:39:05.660 I'm not seeing
00:39:06.240 the light of
00:39:06.700 day until my
00:39:07.880 trial and I'm
00:39:08.640 getting convicted
00:39:09.240 and I'm going
00:39:09.760 to prison for
00:39:10.260 the rest of
00:39:10.540 my life.
00:39:13.680 Now, also, I'd
00:39:14.860 be the most
00:39:15.180 popular mayor in
00:39:16.160 the country for
00:39:16.780 about 45 minutes
00:39:17.660 before I'm
00:39:18.760 arrested, but I
00:39:20.680 would certainly be
00:39:21.340 arrested, right?
00:39:21.920 I mean, and
00:39:22.260 that's the point.
00:39:25.540 So then my
00:39:26.280 question is, what
00:39:28.980 is the difference
00:39:29.660 between that
00:39:31.060 hypothetical scenario
00:39:32.040 and Brandon
00:39:32.720 Johnson?
00:39:35.840 What exactly is
00:39:36.740 the difference?
00:39:39.440 Well, there's
00:39:40.360 one difference
00:39:42.120 that I can think
00:39:42.720 of, which is
00:39:43.260 that the income
00:39:43.880 tax is actually
00:39:44.840 immoral.
00:39:45.580 So that
00:39:46.580 hypothetical mayor
00:39:47.560 could at least
00:39:48.520 make a moral
00:39:49.260 argument in favor
00:39:50.200 of his actions.
00:39:51.680 Like, you can
00:39:52.040 make a moral
00:39:52.520 argument.
00:39:53.000 You can make
00:39:53.440 the moral
00:39:53.880 argument that
00:39:54.460 the income
00:39:54.740 tax is an
00:39:56.440 abomination.
00:39:58.920 It's not a good
00:39:59.720 legal argument.
00:40:00.520 Like, legally,
00:40:01.140 you're screwed.
00:40:02.100 There's no legal
00:40:02.840 argument for it
00:40:03.440 whatsoever.
00:40:04.720 So that's maybe
00:40:06.040 the one difference.
00:40:08.740 Whereas, on the
00:40:09.440 other hand,
00:40:10.300 enforcing immigration
00:40:11.140 law is not
00:40:11.920 immoral.
00:40:13.340 Quite the
00:40:13.980 contrary.
00:40:14.340 Our leaders
00:40:15.860 are not
00:40:17.520 only are
00:40:18.060 morally
00:40:18.500 entitled
00:40:19.840 to enforce
00:40:20.960 immigration law,
00:40:21.700 but they are
00:40:22.060 morally responsible
00:40:22.880 to do so.
00:40:25.220 But putting
00:40:25.880 aside that,
00:40:26.700 you know,
00:40:27.080 the situations
00:40:28.320 are identical.
00:40:29.800 Okay?
00:40:30.020 Let's put aside
00:40:30.780 the fact that,
00:40:31.420 again, the income
00:40:32.520 tax is actually
00:40:33.240 an abomination.
00:40:35.520 The situations
00:40:36.380 are identical
00:40:37.140 because in both
00:40:37.820 cases, a mayor
00:40:38.980 is acting in a
00:40:40.840 lawless manner
00:40:41.720 to aid and
00:40:43.460 abend criminal
00:40:44.840 activity.
00:40:46.640 And he is
00:40:47.580 going to war
00:40:49.580 against the
00:40:50.280 federal government
00:40:51.000 and federal law.
00:40:52.540 He is saying
00:40:53.260 that not only
00:40:54.180 am I not going
00:40:54.560 to follow
00:40:55.060 federal law,
00:40:56.180 I'm going to
00:40:56.860 openly defy it
00:40:57.960 and I'm going
00:40:59.040 to assist
00:41:00.140 anyone else
00:41:01.200 who openly
00:41:01.900 defies federal
00:41:02.840 law.
00:41:04.180 I am saying
00:41:05.180 that in my
00:41:05.760 city, you are
00:41:06.900 allowed to
00:41:07.520 commit federal
00:41:08.400 crimes and I
00:41:09.500 will protect
00:41:10.160 you in doing
00:41:11.800 so.
00:41:12.120 okay, in
00:41:14.080 both, in the
00:41:14.640 tax situation
00:41:15.320 and the ICE
00:41:15.560 situation, that's
00:41:16.820 what's being
00:41:17.240 said by the
00:41:18.000 mayor.
00:41:21.240 It's treason.
00:41:22.560 It is treason.
00:41:24.200 Again, this is
00:41:24.980 not overstating
00:41:26.280 it.
00:41:26.500 This is not
00:41:26.920 being hyperbolic.
00:41:30.040 Okay, words
00:41:31.040 like treason get
00:41:31.700 thrown around a
00:41:32.300 lot.
00:41:33.180 People get
00:41:33.560 emotional.
00:41:34.120 They call
00:41:34.320 everything treason.
00:41:35.520 This is
00:41:36.020 actually treason.
00:41:39.500 So I go back
00:41:40.300 to my initial
00:41:40.720 question.
00:41:41.060 Why is
00:41:41.660 Brandon Johnson
00:41:42.320 still a free
00:41:43.240 man?
00:41:44.020 Why are you
00:41:45.420 letting him do
00:41:46.040 this?
00:41:46.320 Why have you
00:41:46.800 not arrested
00:41:47.480 him the same
00:41:48.520 way you would
00:41:49.240 if he did
00:41:50.540 that exact
00:41:51.060 same thing
00:41:51.680 with taxes?
00:41:55.380 And I think
00:41:56.200 we're at a
00:41:56.520 point where we
00:41:56.920 really need an
00:41:57.400 answer to that
00:41:57.800 question.
00:42:01.140 You know,
00:42:01.360 because also
00:42:02.020 if you let
00:42:03.120 him, you
00:42:05.060 know, one of
00:42:05.920 the big reasons
00:42:06.480 why me as the
00:42:08.680 fictional mayor
00:42:09.280 why they
00:42:09.820 would break
00:42:11.540 down my
00:42:11.900 door and
00:42:12.300 haul me
00:42:12.660 away to
00:42:12.880 prison if
00:42:13.280 I declared
00:42:14.160 a tax-free
00:42:14.680 zone is
00:42:16.060 that they
00:42:18.480 would know
00:42:19.160 that if
00:42:20.260 they don't
00:42:20.800 respond that
00:42:21.320 way, that
00:42:22.940 well, okay,
00:42:24.000 now you have
00:42:25.420 set a precedent
00:42:26.140 and next thing
00:42:27.900 you know,
00:42:28.320 nobody's paying
00:42:28.840 federal taxes
00:42:29.460 and that's a
00:42:30.560 disaster if
00:42:31.600 you're the
00:42:32.020 federal government.
00:42:32.560 you can't
00:42:33.620 allow that
00:42:33.980 to happen.
00:42:35.940 Same thing
00:42:36.420 applies here.
00:42:38.040 You let him
00:42:38.660 get away with
00:42:39.380 this.
00:42:40.180 You let him
00:42:40.760 just get up
00:42:41.200 there and say,
00:42:41.740 yeah, you know
00:42:42.040 what, you're
00:42:44.060 not allowed to
00:42:45.040 be here.
00:42:45.400 I'm going to
00:42:45.640 keep you out.
00:42:49.620 In my city,
00:42:51.020 immigration law
00:42:51.660 doesn't exist.
00:42:54.060 You let him
00:42:54.640 get away with
00:42:55.100 that.
00:42:55.520 As these
00:42:56.060 so-called
00:42:57.240 sanctuary city
00:42:57.820 mayors have
00:42:58.200 been getting
00:42:58.420 away with it
00:42:58.840 for years,
00:43:00.000 but there's
00:43:01.380 escalation,
00:43:02.040 escalation,
00:43:02.480 and the
00:43:03.460 more you
00:43:03.960 allow it,
00:43:05.380 the more
00:43:06.140 you have
00:43:06.400 guaranteed
00:43:06.800 that you're
00:43:07.180 just going
00:43:07.420 to get
00:43:07.600 more of
00:43:08.140 it.
00:43:09.440 Then you
00:43:09.720 have anarchy.
00:43:13.120 Then you
00:43:13.740 have the
00:43:14.160 total
00:43:14.440 delegitimization
00:43:15.240 of the
00:43:16.600 government.
00:43:18.320 The whole
00:43:18.780 system
00:43:19.080 collapses at
00:43:19.660 that point.
00:43:22.460 Brandon Johnson
00:43:23.200 is throwing
00:43:23.620 down the
00:43:23.960 gauntlet and
00:43:24.560 he's putting
00:43:26.140 the challenge
00:43:26.600 down.
00:43:28.360 He's calling
00:43:29.100 your bluff
00:43:29.640 basically.
00:43:30.620 That's what's
00:43:31.100 happening here.
00:43:32.480 The Trump
00:43:33.220 administration
00:43:33.700 has supported
00:43:35.120 a lot of
00:43:35.560 what they've
00:43:35.860 done.
00:43:36.160 They're
00:43:36.240 sending ICE
00:43:36.700 out.
00:43:37.380 They're
00:43:37.760 trying to
00:43:38.040 mobilize the
00:43:38.520 National Guard
00:43:38.980 in situations
00:43:39.480 where I
00:43:39.760 think it's
00:43:40.320 warranted.
00:43:42.700 Brandon Johnson
00:43:43.380 is calling
00:43:43.700 their bluff.
00:43:45.860 He's saying,
00:43:46.620 you'll send
00:43:47.440 the National
00:43:47.760 Guard out,
00:43:48.280 you'll send
00:43:48.580 ICE,
00:43:48.900 you'll round
00:43:49.160 up some
00:43:49.420 illegals,
00:43:50.040 but you're
00:43:50.520 not ready.
00:43:53.840 You're not
00:43:54.360 really going
00:43:54.900 to go to
00:43:55.980 the mat on
00:43:56.580 this,
00:43:56.840 are you?
00:43:57.900 That's what
00:43:58.340 he's saying
00:43:58.580 to the
00:43:58.740 Trump
00:43:58.900 administration.
00:43:59.260 he's
00:44:05.820 calling
00:44:06.000 the
00:44:06.140 bluff.
00:44:08.120 You're
00:44:08.520 going to
00:44:08.620 let him
00:44:08.840 do it
00:44:09.060 or not?
00:44:10.300 That's the
00:44:10.780 question.
00:44:12.780 Let's talk
00:44:13.340 about this.
00:44:13.840 This feels
00:44:14.620 like kind
00:44:14.860 of a
00:44:15.060 throwback,
00:44:15.680 but it's
00:44:17.140 not really a
00:44:17.560 throwback
00:44:17.860 because the
00:44:18.200 race hustle
00:44:18.660 is still
00:44:19.040 alive and
00:44:19.520 well in
00:44:19.840 this country,
00:44:20.280 which is
00:44:22.120 evidenced
00:44:22.520 by this.
00:44:23.200 a mom
00:44:26.760 in Florida
00:44:27.380 has gone
00:44:28.540 to the
00:44:28.800 media to
00:44:29.840 cry and
00:44:30.860 demand an
00:44:31.360 apology because
00:44:32.160 of a racist
00:44:32.960 song that
00:44:34.600 her child's
00:44:35.280 teacher sang
00:44:36.060 to her
00:44:36.580 child.
00:44:38.020 It feels
00:44:39.220 like a
00:44:39.480 story out
00:44:39.800 of 2020,
00:44:40.900 but no,
00:44:41.300 this is this
00:44:42.260 week, I
00:44:42.640 think.
00:44:44.380 It's a big
00:44:45.080 controversy in
00:44:45.700 the school.
00:44:46.340 Here's the
00:44:46.700 story.
00:44:47.040 Listen.
00:44:47.760 Hi,
00:44:48.360 Legend.
00:44:48.700 Did you
00:44:48.980 have a
00:44:49.340 birthday
00:44:49.620 last week?
00:44:50.640 Yes.
00:44:51.340 Legend
00:44:51.600 Whittaker
00:44:52.000 just turned
00:44:52.820 six years
00:44:53.520 old.
00:44:54.060 Can we
00:44:54.320 sing
00:44:54.540 happy
00:44:54.800 birthday
00:44:55.120 to you?
00:44:55.840 He
00:44:56.000 attends
00:44:56.280 Floral
00:44:56.660 Avenue
00:44:57.020 Elementary
00:44:57.600 in
00:44:57.880 Bartow,
00:44:58.780 where his
00:44:59.080 class and
00:44:59.620 teachers
00:44:59.920 celebrated
00:45:00.520 with a
00:45:01.020 song.
00:45:01.700 Happy
00:45:02.160 birthday
00:45:02.920 to you.
00:45:05.040 But what
00:45:05.360 happened
00:45:05.680 next?
00:45:06.320 Would you
00:45:06.820 like the
00:45:07.180 funny song
00:45:07.880 now that I
00:45:08.480 sing to
00:45:09.040 you?
00:45:09.460 Stirred up
00:45:09.840 hurt feelings
00:45:10.520 and anger.
00:45:11.660 Happy
00:45:11.960 birthday
00:45:12.720 to you.
00:45:14.500 You live
00:45:15.840 in the
00:45:16.760 zoo.
00:45:17.660 You look
00:45:18.860 like a
00:45:19.940 monkey.
00:45:20.520 And you
00:45:21.400 smell like
00:45:22.440 one,
00:45:23.140 two.
00:45:24.160 Give me
00:45:24.800 a clap
00:45:25.120 everybody.
00:45:27.140 I don't
00:45:27.520 like stuff
00:45:28.200 like that.
00:45:28.960 Legend says
00:45:29.520 the song
00:45:29.980 hurt his
00:45:30.400 feelings.
00:45:31.340 His mother
00:45:31.700 Desiree
00:45:32.140 Prather says
00:45:32.720 the teacher
00:45:33.220 sent her
00:45:33.760 the video
00:45:34.260 and she
00:45:34.980 went straight
00:45:35.440 to the
00:45:35.720 main office.
00:45:36.660 I
00:45:36.760 automatically
00:45:37.400 said
00:45:38.140 that's
00:45:38.880 unacceptable
00:45:39.460 and I
00:45:40.520 don't feel
00:45:40.940 I don't
00:45:41.260 think
00:45:41.460 nothing's
00:45:41.880 funny
00:45:42.100 about it.
00:45:42.840 Prather
00:45:43.020 says
00:45:43.380 there's
00:45:43.660 a history
00:45:44.100 of black
00:45:44.520 people
00:45:44.820 being
00:45:45.080 described
00:45:45.520 that
00:45:45.760 way
00:45:46.060 which
00:45:46.560 makes
00:45:46.860 it
00:45:47.000 extremely
00:45:47.600 upsetting.
00:45:48.640 My
00:45:48.720 skin
00:45:49.060 is
00:45:49.260 boiling.
00:45:49.980 I
00:45:50.080 don't
00:45:50.280 even
00:45:50.520 like
00:45:50.900 racism
00:45:51.460 and to
00:45:52.240 know
00:45:52.420 where we
00:45:52.720 come
00:45:52.940 from
00:45:53.160 and our
00:45:53.480 ancestors
00:45:54.060 and for
00:45:55.500 us to
00:45:55.800 be labeled
00:45:56.280 like that
00:45:56.860 because when
00:45:57.640 they call us
00:45:58.120 money they
00:45:58.440 basically
00:45:58.660 saying that
00:45:59.000 we're ugly
00:45:59.560 we act like
00:46:00.580 a monkey
00:46:01.040 and all this
00:46:01.640 and that
00:46:01.920 I don't
00:46:02.240 like that
00:46:02.640 at all.
00:46:03.080 Paul
00:46:03.680 Paul
00:46:03.700 Paul
00:46:03.720 County
00:46:03.920 public
00:46:04.180 school
00:46:04.540 district
00:46:04.920 staff
00:46:05.380 and
00:46:05.620 the
00:46:05.760 HR
00:46:06.020 department
00:46:06.480 are
00:46:06.720 reviewing
00:46:07.120 this.
00:46:07.920 I
00:46:07.940 followed
00:46:08.160 up
00:46:08.360 with
00:46:08.460 additional
00:46:08.800 questions
00:46:09.380 like
00:46:09.700 is
00:46:09.840 this
00:46:10.000 the
00:46:10.180 first
00:46:10.420 time
00:46:10.820 this
00:46:11.260 teacher
00:46:11.540 has
00:46:11.780 sung
00:46:12.040 this
00:46:12.260 song
00:46:12.580 to
00:46:12.960 students
00:46:13.500 and I
00:46:13.880 also
00:46:14.220 asked
00:46:14.660 while
00:46:15.080 this
00:46:15.240 is
00:46:15.340 being
00:46:15.500 reviewed
00:46:16.000 will
00:46:16.320 the
00:46:16.460 teacher
00:46:16.700 still be
00:46:17.040 in the
00:46:17.240 classrooms
00:46:17.780 I've
00:46:18.480 not heard
00:46:18.760 back
00:46:19.000 yet.
00:46:19.660 I
00:46:19.680 don't
00:46:19.860 play
00:46:20.060 games
00:46:20.400 about
00:46:20.600 my
00:46:20.800 child.
00:46:21.600 In
00:46:21.620 a
00:46:21.740 letter
00:46:21.860 to
00:46:22.040 the
00:46:22.200 school
00:46:22.440 board
00:46:22.800 Prather
00:46:23.120 asked
00:46:23.560 for
00:46:23.780 an
00:46:23.880 apology
00:46:24.320 immediate
00:46:25.120 disciplinary
00:46:25.740 action
00:46:26.280 and
00:46:26.860 counseling
00:46:27.340 for
00:46:27.640 her
00:46:27.840 son.
00:46:28.720 After
00:46:29.020 receiving
00:46:29.480 no
00:46:29.720 response
00:46:30.320 she
00:46:30.760 decided
00:46:31.160 to
00:46:31.340 show
00:46:31.540 up
00:46:31.700 in
00:46:31.820 person.
00:46:32.440 They
00:46:32.600 can't
00:46:35.120 answer
00:46:36.160 no
00:46:36.380 questions
00:46:36.840 or
00:46:37.120 anything
00:46:37.380 like
00:46:37.700 that.
00:46:38.960 Unacceptable
00:46:39.440 she
00:46:39.980 says
00:46:40.400 unacceptable
00:46:41.920 I think
00:46:42.660 is what
00:46:42.820 she was
00:46:43.000 trying
00:46:43.160 to
00:46:43.260 say
00:46:43.420 it's
00:46:43.660 unacceptable
00:46:44.100 well
00:46:46.820 I'll
00:46:46.920 tell you
00:46:47.060 what's
00:46:47.240 unacceptable
00:46:47.680 first of
00:46:48.160 all
00:46:48.280 ma'am
00:46:48.520 is
00:46:48.740 naming
00:46:49.020 your
00:46:49.240 child
00:46:49.600 legend
00:46:50.160 it's
00:46:51.980 not a
00:46:52.240 real
00:46:52.360 name
00:46:52.660 that
00:46:53.020 you
00:46:53.260 can't
00:46:53.720 name
00:46:53.900 your
00:46:54.020 child
00:46:54.260 that
00:46:54.520 you
00:46:54.760 can't
00:46:55.900 you
00:46:57.280 shouldn't
00:46:57.440 be
00:46:57.540 allowed
00:46:57.780 to
00:46:58.000 that's
00:46:58.340 not
00:46:58.600 and
00:46:58.980 it
00:46:59.240 also
00:46:59.640 by the
00:46:59.900 way
00:47:00.020 it's
00:47:00.180 like
00:47:00.300 way
00:47:00.580 too
00:47:00.740 much
00:47:00.900 pressure
00:47:01.240 on
00:47:01.580 your
00:47:01.700 kid
00:47:02.000 that
00:47:03.300 is
00:47:03.440 setting
00:47:04.100 the
00:47:04.260 bar
00:47:04.440 way
00:47:04.800 too
00:47:04.980 high
00:47:05.220 your
00:47:07.340 child
00:47:07.640 was
00:47:07.780 born
00:47:08.040 you
00:47:08.160 got
00:47:08.260 an
00:47:08.440 infant
00:47:08.720 and
00:47:08.960 you're
00:47:09.080 saying
00:47:09.360 legend
00:47:09.960 okay
00:47:12.060 icon
00:47:12.780 is that
00:47:13.080 his
00:47:13.180 middle
00:47:13.340 name
00:47:13.560 icon
00:47:14.040 that
00:47:16.340 is
00:47:16.500 way
00:47:17.500 too
00:47:17.680 much
00:47:17.800 pressure
00:47:18.080 on
00:47:18.200 a
00:47:18.280 child
00:47:18.420 because
00:47:18.600 now
00:47:18.840 you
00:47:19.000 gotta
00:47:19.140 like
00:47:19.540 now
00:47:20.380 it's
00:47:21.260 it's
00:47:23.720 either
00:47:26.060 he has
00:47:26.320 to live
00:47:26.600 up to
00:47:26.840 that
00:47:27.020 and do
00:47:27.340 something
00:47:27.600 truly
00:47:27.900 legendary
00:47:28.260 and be
00:47:28.760 one of
00:47:28.980 the
00:47:29.080 great
00:47:29.440 figures
00:47:30.080 in
00:47:30.260 history
00:47:30.620 right
00:47:31.780 you
00:47:32.380 have
00:47:32.520 a
00:47:32.640 name
00:47:32.840 like
00:47:33.080 that
00:47:33.340 you
00:47:33.500 gotta
00:47:33.980 go
00:47:34.220 out
00:47:34.480 and
00:47:34.720 do
00:47:34.900 you
00:47:35.060 like
00:47:35.480 go
00:47:35.640 cure
00:47:35.940 cancer
00:47:36.380 or
00:47:36.760 land
00:47:37.400 on
00:47:37.600 Mars
00:47:37.900 I
00:47:38.020 mean
00:47:38.080 do
00:47:38.240 something
00:47:38.640 but
00:47:40.300 the
00:47:40.880 reason
00:47:41.060 I
00:47:41.220 wouldn't
00:47:41.340 give
00:47:41.480 my
00:47:41.640 kid
00:47:41.800 a
00:47:41.900 name
00:47:42.020 like
00:47:42.200 that
00:47:42.360 is
00:47:42.480 because
00:47:42.580 now
00:47:42.800 I'm
00:47:42.960 worried
00:47:43.220 that
00:47:43.480 I've
00:47:43.680 set
00:47:43.900 them
00:47:44.120 up
00:47:44.300 for
00:47:44.660 you
00:47:45.860 know
00:47:46.140 for
00:47:48.020 for
00:47:48.480 for
00:47:49.260 something
00:47:53.720 grow
00:47:53.960 up
00:47:54.240 and
00:47:54.340 they're
00:47:54.460 like
00:47:54.660 30
00:47:55.020 and
00:47:55.180 unemployed
00:47:55.720 can't
00:47:57.160 hold
00:47:57.300 down
00:47:57.480 a
00:47:57.620 job
00:47:58.080 right
00:48:00.140 and
00:48:00.280 their
00:48:00.380 name
00:48:00.560 is
00:48:00.680 legend
00:48:01.180 I
00:48:02.660 don't
00:48:02.740 know
00:48:02.840 I
00:48:02.920 feel
00:48:03.020 like
00:48:03.120 you're
00:48:03.220 setting
00:48:03.360 your
00:48:03.480 kid
00:48:03.600 up
00:48:03.720 for
00:48:03.820 that
00:48:03.980 so
00:48:04.260 that's
00:48:05.980 the
00:48:06.080 first
00:48:06.220 problem
00:48:06.540 second
00:48:07.620 problem
00:48:07.980 is
00:48:08.220 that
00:48:08.520 well
00:48:08.820 this
00:48:08.940 is
00:48:09.040 obviously
00:48:09.400 nonsense
00:48:09.840 I
00:48:10.160 mean
00:48:10.280 that
00:48:10.520 that
00:48:10.840 version
00:48:11.220 of
00:48:11.360 the
00:48:11.460 birthday
00:48:11.740 song
00:48:12.240 right
00:48:13.160 you
00:48:13.400 you
00:48:13.640 live
00:48:15.180 in a
00:48:15.380 zoo
00:48:15.500 you smell
00:48:15.800 like
00:48:15.980 a
00:48:16.260 monkey
00:48:16.540 you
00:48:16.680 look
00:48:16.800 like
00:48:16.960 one
00:48:17.100 too
00:48:17.260 that
00:48:18.240 that's
00:48:18.940 a
00:48:19.020 classic
00:48:19.360 I
00:48:19.580 mean
00:48:19.660 we
00:48:19.820 were
00:48:19.960 singing
00:48:20.180 that
00:48:20.440 when
00:48:20.640 I
00:48:20.760 was
00:48:20.880 a
00:48:21.000 kid
00:48:21.220 and
00:48:22.400 not
00:48:22.580 only
00:48:22.760 that
00:48:23.040 the
00:48:23.500 teacher
00:48:23.820 asks
00:48:24.400 the
00:48:24.620 kid
00:48:24.860 in
00:48:25.000 the
00:48:25.140 video
00:48:25.460 if
00:48:25.800 he
00:48:25.920 wants
00:48:26.220 to
00:48:26.400 hear
00:48:26.600 the
00:48:26.800 funny
00:48:27.120 version
00:48:27.480 of
00:48:27.660 the
00:48:27.760 song
00:48:28.100 which
00:48:29.340 also
00:48:29.580 shows
00:48:29.960 you
00:48:30.080 that
00:48:30.200 this
00:48:30.360 is
00:48:30.480 a
00:48:30.680 thing
00:48:31.180 they
00:48:31.420 do
00:48:31.780 in
00:48:31.940 the
00:48:32.040 classroom
00:48:32.460 it's
00:48:32.680 pretty
00:48:32.840 clear
00:48:33.260 from
00:48:33.500 the
00:48:33.620 context
00:48:33.960 that
00:48:34.460 she
00:48:35.260 does
00:48:35.480 this
00:48:35.640 for
00:48:35.760 all
00:48:35.880 the
00:48:36.000 kids
00:48:36.160 she
00:48:36.300 sings
00:48:36.580 the
00:48:36.700 birthday
00:48:36.940 song
00:48:37.260 it's
00:48:37.420 on
00:48:37.560 their
00:48:48.240 why
00:48:48.360 she
00:48:48.520 sent
00:48:48.920 the
00:48:49.120 video
00:48:49.540 to
00:48:50.380 the
00:48:50.560 mom
00:48:50.880 thinking
00:48:52.440 that
00:48:52.660 it
00:48:52.760 was
00:48:52.900 just
00:48:53.120 a
00:48:53.300 cute
00:48:53.580 fun
00:48:54.540 little
00:48:54.760 thing
00:48:55.080 not
00:48:57.260 knowing
00:48:57.540 the
00:48:57.660 mom
00:48:57.880 is
00:48:58.040 a
00:48:58.180 sociopath
00:48:58.660 who
00:48:59.020 will
00:48:59.240 gladly
00:48:59.800 take
00:49:00.140 this
00:49:00.360 fun
00:49:00.820 kind
00:49:02.000 gesture
00:49:02.520 and
00:49:03.420 use
00:49:03.800 it
00:49:03.900 to
00:49:04.000 try
00:49:04.140 to
00:49:04.220 get
00:49:04.320 the
00:49:04.420 teacher
00:49:04.600 fired
00:49:04.880 that's
00:49:05.420 what
00:49:05.500 gets
00:49:05.660 me
00:49:05.860 about
00:49:07.540 this
00:49:07.700 sort
00:49:07.840 of
00:49:07.920 thing
00:49:08.120 is
00:49:08.880 just
00:49:09.080 how
00:49:09.260 casually
00:49:09.800 evil
00:49:10.360 these
00:49:11.780 race
00:49:12.220 hustlers
00:49:12.580 are
00:49:12.900 now
00:49:14.260 granted
00:49:15.700 this
00:49:16.780 mom
00:49:17.040 is
00:49:17.180 obviously
00:49:17.600 not
00:49:18.240 the
00:49:18.600 brightest
00:49:18.900 bulb
00:49:19.220 in
00:49:19.340 the
00:49:19.420 bunch
00:49:19.680 not
00:49:21.360 even
00:49:21.580 a
00:49:21.780 dim
00:49:22.000 bulb
00:49:22.380 okay
00:49:22.780 she's
00:49:23.400 a
00:49:23.640 she's
00:49:24.720 a
00:49:24.840 bulb
00:49:25.200 that
00:49:25.560 was
00:49:25.760 in
00:49:25.920 a
00:49:26.060 that's
00:49:26.260 in
00:49:26.360 a
00:49:26.480 recess
00:49:27.060 light
00:49:27.580 in
00:49:27.880 the
00:49:28.020 basement
00:49:28.380 hasn't
00:49:28.880 been
00:49:29.040 changed
00:49:29.320 since
00:49:29.520 2013
00:49:30.020 just
00:49:31.380 nothing
00:49:31.700 going
00:49:31.960 on
00:49:32.260 nothing
00:49:33.820 going
00:49:34.060 on
00:49:34.240 upstairs
00:49:34.640 her
00:49:34.900 internal
00:49:35.300 monologue
00:49:35.860 is
00:49:36.420 like
00:49:36.760 hold
00:49:37.060 music
00:49:37.440 okay
00:49:38.240 that's
00:49:38.720 so
00:49:38.840 that's
00:49:39.160 what
00:49:39.240 we're
00:49:39.340 dealing
00:49:39.500 with
00:49:39.660 and
00:49:39.800 yet
00:49:40.020 she
00:49:41.100 obviously
00:49:41.660 knew
00:49:42.100 that
00:49:42.580 there
00:49:42.780 was
00:49:42.940 no
00:49:43.080 offense
00:49:43.380 intended
00:49:43.680 that
00:49:44.080 it
00:49:44.200 wasn't
00:49:48.240 a
00:49:48.400 monkey
00:49:48.720 as
00:49:49.000 a
00:49:49.160 racist
00:49:49.540 slur
00:49:50.000 and
00:49:50.260 then
00:49:50.400 send
00:49:50.780 her
00:49:50.960 a
00:49:51.160 video
00:49:51.540 of
00:49:51.820 it
00:49:52.020 okay
00:49:52.800 that
00:49:52.960 obviously
00:49:53.420 didn't
00:49:53.760 happen
00:49:54.060 and
00:49:55.460 even
00:49:56.020 this
00:49:56.280 mom
00:49:56.600 who
00:49:56.840 isn't
00:49:57.200 fluent
00:49:57.440 in
00:49:57.600 English
00:49:57.980 even
00:49:58.380 though
00:49:58.540 it's
00:49:58.680 the
00:49:58.780 only
00:49:58.920 language
00:49:59.200 she
00:49:59.360 speaks
00:49:59.640 understands
00:50:00.260 that
00:50:00.520 she's
00:50:02.220 just
00:50:02.360 doing
00:50:02.580 this
00:50:02.720 to
00:50:02.820 take
00:50:02.960 advantage
00:50:03.340 to
00:50:03.540 get
00:50:03.640 some
00:50:03.780 attention
00:50:04.160 maybe
00:50:05.360 win
00:50:05.580 a few
00:50:05.800 bucks
00:50:06.020 in
00:50:06.140 a
00:50:06.220 lawsuit
00:50:06.580 right
00:50:07.180 and
00:50:09.120 in
00:50:09.220 the
00:50:09.320 process
00:50:09.660 just
00:50:09.940 like
00:50:10.180 casually
00:50:10.820 destroy
00:50:11.440 the
00:50:11.660 life
00:50:12.020 and
00:50:12.260 career
00:50:12.660 of
00:50:12.900 a
00:50:13.020 woman
00:50:18.240 and
00:50:19.680 the
00:50:19.800 fact
00:50:20.000 that
00:50:20.140 she
00:50:20.480 has
00:50:20.740 the
00:50:20.880 mom's
00:50:21.200 phone
00:50:21.420 number
00:50:21.660 also
00:50:22.100 tells
00:50:23.600 me
00:50:23.780 that
00:50:24.100 I
00:50:24.720 mean
00:50:25.140 I
00:50:25.240 guess
00:50:25.520 she
00:50:25.620 would
00:50:25.700 have
00:50:25.820 the
00:50:25.940 phone
00:50:26.080 number
00:50:26.240 as
00:50:26.360 a
00:50:26.460 teacher
00:50:26.680 but
00:50:27.020 I
00:50:28.040 don't
00:50:28.100 know
00:50:28.180 just
00:50:28.340 having
00:50:28.600 the
00:50:28.740 phone
00:50:28.900 number
00:50:29.060 sending
00:50:29.320 a
00:50:29.480 text
00:50:29.740 that
00:50:30.200 kind
00:50:30.320 of
00:50:30.400 tells
00:50:30.520 me
00:50:30.620 maybe
00:50:31.140 they've
00:50:31.360 communicated
00:50:31.840 in
00:50:32.000 the
00:50:32.080 past
00:50:32.440 and
00:50:33.480 it's
00:50:33.620 the
00:50:33.720 child's
00:50:34.000 teacher
00:50:34.240 so
00:50:34.460 they're
00:50:34.600 probably
00:50:34.820 on
00:50:34.980 a
00:50:35.080 friendly
00:50:35.360 terms
00:50:36.800 right
00:50:38.260 you
00:50:38.380 come
00:50:38.600 in
00:50:38.760 you
00:50:38.860 drop
00:50:39.060 your
00:50:39.180 kid
00:50:39.340 off
00:50:39.560 you
00:50:48.240 because
00:50:48.520 just
00:50:49.160 because
00:50:49.280 I
00:50:49.400 feel
00:50:49.560 like
00:50:49.720 it
00:50:50.140 I
00:50:52.560 mean
00:50:52.660 you
00:50:52.760 got
00:50:52.860 to
00:50:52.900 be
00:50:53.000 totally
00:50:53.240 soulless
00:50:53.680 so
00:50:54.000 it
00:50:54.100 is
00:50:54.280 evil
00:50:55.300 and
00:50:55.500 wrong
00:50:55.740 and
00:50:55.960 this
00:50:57.100 is
00:50:57.400 what
00:50:57.540 shows
00:50:57.820 us
00:50:58.000 that
00:50:58.160 as
00:50:58.260 much
00:50:58.440 as
00:50:58.540 we
00:50:58.640 want
00:50:58.760 to
00:50:58.840 tell
00:50:59.000 ourselves
00:50:59.500 that
00:50:59.880 wokeness
00:51:01.280 is
00:51:02.100 dead
00:51:02.460 I
00:51:03.900 think
00:51:04.220 the
00:51:04.440 reports
00:51:04.940 of
00:51:05.200 the
00:51:05.820 demise
00:51:06.260 of
00:51:06.420 wokeness
00:51:06.860 were
00:51:07.060 premature
00:51:07.440 now
00:51:08.040 maybe
00:51:08.200 that
00:51:08.420 term
00:51:08.880 I
00:51:10.580 think
00:51:10.720 the
00:51:10.880 term
00:51:11.160 is
00:51:11.320 dead
00:51:11.560 right
00:51:13.180 it's
00:51:13.320 an
00:51:13.420 outdated
00:51:13.720 term
00:51:14.200 it's
00:51:14.440 like
00:51:14.760 10
00:51:16.420 years
00:51:16.680 ago
00:51:16.860 nobody
00:51:17.480 said
00:51:18.020 woke
00:51:18.420 it
00:51:18.600 was
00:51:18.820 SJW
00:51:19.760 social
00:51:20.120 justice
00:51:20.560 warrior
00:51:20.860 and
00:51:22.260 after
00:51:22.560 a few
00:51:22.740 years
00:51:22.920 nobody
00:51:23.100 used
00:51:23.360 that
00:51:23.500 term
00:51:23.760 anymore
00:51:24.140 but
00:51:25.960 was
00:51:26.220 the
00:51:26.380 SJW
00:51:27.240 was
00:51:27.520 that
00:51:27.720 phenomenon
00:51:28.260 over
00:51:28.860 just
00:51:29.260 because
00:51:29.580 the
00:51:29.840 term
00:51:30.120 isn't
00:51:30.360 used
00:51:30.560 anymore
00:51:30.820 no
00:51:31.260 of
00:51:31.420 course
00:51:31.540 not
00:51:31.720 and
00:51:33.140 now
00:51:33.460 it
00:51:33.760 was
00:51:33.900 woke
00:51:34.220 and
00:51:34.380 that
00:51:34.540 lasted
00:51:34.900 for
00:51:35.080 five
00:51:35.340 years
00:51:35.620 and
00:51:35.860 no
00:51:36.100 one
00:51:36.200 really
00:51:36.380 uses
00:51:36.620 that
00:51:36.820 term
00:51:37.060 anymore
00:51:37.360 but
00:51:38.040 the
00:51:38.380 phenomenon
00:51:38.880 that
00:51:39.280 it's
00:51:39.720 describing
00:51:40.380 that
00:51:40.860 it's
00:51:41.000 labeling
00:51:41.440 that
00:51:41.960 is
00:51:42.420 still
00:51:42.880 very
00:51:43.200 much
00:51:43.560 alive
00:51:44.580 sad
00:51:46.860 actually
00:51:47.540 sleeping
00:51:48.000 through
00:51:48.240 the
00:51:48.360 night
00:51:48.560 I
00:51:48.860 know
00:51:49.040 revolutionary
00:51:49.620 concept
00:51:50.080 for years
00:51:50.580 I dealt
00:51:51.000 with waking
00:51:51.500 up with
00:51:51.880 back pain
00:51:52.420 tossing
00:51:52.840 and turning
00:51:53.180 because my
00:51:53.640 old mattress
00:51:54.140 was absolutely
00:51:55.640 shot
00:51:56.120 I'm talking
00:51:57.560 to discomfort
00:51:58.140 where you wake
00:51:58.760 up feeling
00:51:59.180 worse than
00:51:59.840 when you
00:52:00.160 went to
00:52:00.440 bed
00:52:00.660 my wife
00:52:01.500 wasn't
00:52:01.720 thrilled
00:52:01.900 about it
00:52:02.180 either
00:52:02.360 especially
00:52:02.820 when I'd
00:52:03.380 be tossing
00:52:03.800 and turning
00:52:04.100 at three
00:52:04.420 I'm trying
00:52:04.860 to find
00:52:05.180 a comfortable
00:52:05.740 position
00:52:06.180 then we
00:52:06.940 got a
00:52:07.260 Helix
00:52:07.540 mattress
00:52:07.860 and honestly
00:52:08.860 it's
00:52:09.040 complete
00:52:09.300 game
00:52:09.560 changer
00:52:09.880 they have
00:52:10.320 this
00:52:10.500 sleep
00:52:10.700 quiz
00:52:11.000 on their
00:52:11.500 site
00:52:11.780 takes
00:52:12.540 like
00:52:12.760 two
00:52:12.980 minutes
00:52:16.860 side
00:52:17.240 sleeper
00:52:17.740 back
00:52:18.360 sleeper
00:52:18.960 whatever
00:52:19.940 it is
00:52:20.380 they've
00:52:20.840 got you
00:52:21.120 covered
00:52:21.340 we've
00:52:21.940 had ours
00:52:22.320 for a
00:52:22.900 while
00:52:23.140 now
00:52:23.480 and I
00:52:24.040 wake
00:52:24.260 up
00:52:24.520 feeling
00:52:25.220 every
00:52:25.860 night
00:52:26.080 not
00:52:26.620 feeling
00:52:26.980 like
00:52:27.140 I
00:52:27.240 got
00:52:27.340 hit
00:52:27.460 by a
00:52:27.640 truck
00:52:27.780 actually
00:52:28.040 feeling
00:52:28.300 well
00:52:28.500 rested
00:52:28.820 my
00:52:29.600 back
00:52:29.860 doesn't
00:52:30.060 hurt
00:52:30.180 anymore
00:52:30.460 I'm
00:52:30.700 not
00:52:31.000 overheating
00:52:31.420 in the
00:52:31.620 middle
00:52:31.740 of the
00:52:31.900 night
00:52:32.060 and
00:52:32.260 actually
00:52:32.740 sleeping
00:52:33.060 through
00:52:33.240 the
00:52:33.420 night
00:52:33.900 until
00:52:34.080 the
00:52:34.200 morning
00:52:34.360 it's
00:52:34.560 made
00:52:34.760 a
00:52:34.880 massive
00:52:35.120 difference
00:52:35.500 now I
00:52:36.080 feel
00:52:36.220 during
00:52:36.400 the
00:52:36.500 day
00:52:36.680 turns
00:52:37.080 out
00:52:37.240 being
00:52:37.380 well
00:52:37.580 rested
00:52:37.940 makes
00:52:38.740 everything
00:52:39.160 easier

00:53:57.440 days ago
00:53:57.860 to share
00:53:58.360 her
00:53:58.620 philosophy
00:53:59.180 of life
00:53:59.720 and the
00:54:00.720 conversation
00:54:01.080 ran for
00:54:01.820 two and
00:54:02.160 a half
00:54:02.300 hours
00:54:02.660 due to
00:54:03.680 the law
00:54:04.040 that was
00:54:04.280 passed
00:54:04.740 you know
00:54:06.220 eight years
00:54:06.800 ago I think
00:54:07.320 it was
00:54:07.620 requiring
00:54:08.140 that every
00:54:08.820 podcast
00:54:09.340 interview
00:54:09.700 must be
00:54:10.520 120
00:54:11.560 minutes
00:54:12.040 at a
00:54:12.380 minimum
00:54:12.620 nobody's
00:54:14.120 allowed to
00:54:14.480 have a
00:54:14.800 15 minute
00:54:15.360 conversation
00:54:15.860 anymore
00:54:16.220 if you've
00:54:17.580 noticed
00:54:17.780 that's
00:54:18.000 because
00:54:18.100 like
00:54:18.280 yeah
00:54:18.420 you see
00:54:19.780 all these
00:54:20.060 you think
00:54:20.560 is there
00:54:20.840 some law
00:54:21.280 yeah there
00:54:21.900 is
00:54:22.160 actually
00:54:22.640 you can't
00:54:24.620 just get a
00:54:24.980 quick update
00:54:25.460 about Emma
00:54:25.860 Watson's
00:54:26.300 life
00:54:26.560 if for
00:54:26.860 some
00:54:27.040 reason
00:54:27.280 you were
00:54:27.740 interested
00:54:28.000 in that
00:54:28.400 instead
00:54:29.420 you need
00:54:29.900 to give
00:54:30.320 her entire
00:54:31.540 life story
00:54:32.280 we need
00:54:34.220 her to

00:54:34.780 everything
00:54:35.320 she thinks
00:54:36.080 about
00:54:36.440 everything
00:54:36.920 we need

00:54:43.700 video
00:54:44.000 we need
00:54:45.720 a video
00:54:46.420 with a
00:54:46.920 runtime
00:54:47.500 nearly as
00:54:48.620 long as
00:54:48.980 the first
00:54:49.360 Godfather
00:54:49.900 film
00:54:50.240 except
00:54:50.580 it's
00:54:50.800 just
00:54:50.960 this
00:54:51.160 random
00:54:51.600 celebrity
00:54:52.220 sitting
00:54:53.320 in a
00:54:53.580 chair
00:54:53.980 and
00:54:54.500 rambling
00:54:55.140 which
00:54:57.120 by
00:54:57.320 the
00:54:57.420 way
00:54:57.740 if
00:55:00.160 you're
00:55:00.380 Joe
00:55:00.640 Rogan
00:55:01.040 so
00:55:02.000 Joe
00:55:02.300 Rogan
00:55:02.600 came
00:55:02.840 along
00:55:03.220 and
00:55:03.640 his
00:55:04.060 thing
00:55:04.540 was
00:55:05.640 these
00:55:06.280 epically
00:55:07.280 long
00:55:07.720 conversations
00:55:08.360 that are
00:55:09.500 actually
00:55:09.940 interesting
00:55:10.460 he's
00:55:10.860 really
00:55:11.060 good
00:55:11.340 at
00:55:11.460 that
00:55:11.640 he's
00:55:11.920 good
00:55:12.240 at
00:55:12.460 having
00:55:12.800 an
00:55:13.040 interesting
00:55:13.500 conversation
00:55:13.940 that
00:55:14.080 goes
00:55:14.200 for
00:55:14.320 three
00:55:14.500 hours
00:55:14.720 but
00:55:16.360 just
00:55:16.560 because
00:55:16.800 he
00:55:17.000 did
00:55:17.200 that
00:55:17.480 and
00:55:17.780 he's
00:55:17.960 good
00:55:18.180 at
00:55:18.400 it
00:55:18.580 and
00:55:18.820 it's
00:55:18.980 popular
00:55:19.420 it
00:55:19.660 doesn't
00:55:19.920 mean
00:55:20.060 that
00:55:20.240 every
00:55:20.720 podcaster
00:55:21.560 needs
00:55:21.800 it
00:55:21.900 you don't
00:55:22.460 need
00:55:22.700 to do
00:55:22.920 that
00:55:23.200 just
00:55:24.220 so
00:55:24.360 you
00:55:24.420 know
00:55:24.580 for
00:55:24.740 all
00:55:24.900 the
00:55:25.000 new
00:55:25.120 pod
00:55:25.360 up
00:55:25.600 and
00:55:25.700 coming
00:55:25.880 podcasters
00:55:26.460 out
00:55:26.660 there
00:55:26.800 I
00:55:26.900 don't
00:55:26.980 think
00:55:27.080 this
00:55:27.220 guy
00:55:27.340 is
00:55:27.420 really
00:55:27.520 up
00:55:27.640 and
00:55:27.720 coming
00:55:27.840 but
00:55:28.040 for
00:55:28.420 all
00:55:28.540 the
00:55:28.640 other
00:55:28.780 podcasters
00:55:29.460 and
00:55:30.580 you
00:55:30.660 want
00:55:30.820 to
00:55:30.900 do
00:55:31.000 the
00:55:31.160 interview
00:55:31.540 thing
00:55:31.900 podcast
00:55:32.240 thing
00:55:32.680 I
00:55:53.200 have
00:55:53.340 and
00:55:54.540 we'll
00:55:54.860 move
00:55:55.060 on
00:55:55.260 anyway
00:55:57.260 there
00:55:58.200 was
00:55:58.320 one
00:55:58.500 brief
00:55:58.720 section
00:55:59.040 of
00:55:59.160 this
00:55:59.360 epic
00:55:59.700 saga
00:56:00.020 of
00:56:00.160 an
00:56:00.240 interview
00:56:00.460 that
00:56:00.740 has
00:56:01.000 gotten
00:56:01.220 some
00:56:01.420 attention
00:56:01.800 Emma
00:56:02.880 spoke
00:56:03.220 out
00:56:03.400 against
00:56:03.680 the
00:56:03.900 violence
00:56:04.400 being
00:56:04.700 inflicted
00:56:05.280 on
00:56:05.500 people
00:56:05.760 especially
00:56:06.020 young
00:56:06.280 women
00:56:07.100 but
00:56:08.880 she
00:56:09.000 was
00:56:09.140 not
00:56:09.320 talking
00:56:09.700 about
00:56:10.080 the
00:56:10.280 violent
00:56:10.580 crime
00:56:10.880 epidemic
00:56:11.320 certainly
00:56:12.380 was
00:56:12.520 not
00:56:12.660 talking
00:56:12.940 about
00:56:13.120 the
00:56:13.240 problem
00:56:13.520 of
00:56:13.680 political
00:56:14.020 violence
00:56:14.460 which
00:56:14.620 is
00:56:14.720 being
00:56:14.880 inflicted
00:56:15.280 nearly
00:56:15.460 exclusively
00:56:15.880 by
00:56:16.120 the
00:56:16.260 left
00:56:16.480 on
00:56:16.680 the
00:56:16.780 right
00:56:17.000 now
00:56:17.680 this
00:56:17.800 is
00:56:17.860 a
00:56:18.060 different
00:56:23.200 getting
00:56:23.340 married
00:56:23.780 or
00:56:24.420 why
00:56:24.640 aren't
00:56:24.780 you
00:56:24.880 married
00:56:25.180 yet
00:56:25.560 and
00:56:27.500 that's
00:56:27.640 something
00:56:27.840 every
00:56:28.160 woman
00:56:28.440 is
00:56:28.660 hearing
00:56:29.020 what's
00:56:30.160 your
00:56:30.260 reaction
00:56:30.740 when
00:56:30.980 you
00:56:31.080 hear
00:56:31.280 that
00:56:31.560 I'm
00:56:32.020 just
00:56:32.140 so
00:56:32.280 happy
00:56:32.440 not
00:56:32.580 to
00:56:32.660 be
00:56:32.780 divorced
00:56:33.240 yet
00:56:33.600 like
00:56:34.100 that
00:56:34.820 sounds
00:56:35.040 like
00:56:35.180 a
00:56:35.280 really
00:56:35.440 negative
00:56:35.800 answer
00:56:36.160 but
00:56:36.400 I
00:56:37.060 think
00:56:37.960 that
00:56:38.140 we're
00:56:38.400 being
00:56:39.080 pressured
00:56:41.160 and
00:56:41.460 forced
00:56:42.120 into
00:56:43.320 this
00:56:44.760 thing
00:56:46.840 that
00:56:47.240 I
00:56:48.180 believe
00:56:48.680 is
00:56:48.920 a
00:56:49.040 kind
00:56:49.320 of
00:56:49.500 miracle
00:56:49.920 I
00:56:50.800 might
00:56:51.040 never
00:56:51.280 be
00:56:51.480 worthy
00:56:51.760 of
00:56:51.960 it
00:56:52.200 I
00:56:52.640 hope
00:56:53.080 it
00:56:53.240 happens
00:56:53.580 to
00:56:53.760 me
00:56:54.000 any
00:56:54.520 point
00:56:54.980 basically
00:56:55.700 before
00:56:56.240 about
00:56:57.400 a
00:56:57.620 year
00:56:57.860 ago
00:56:58.220 it
00:56:59.280 would
00:56:59.420 have
00:56:59.540 been
00:56:59.780 carnage
00:57:00.980 I
00:57:01.520 just
00:57:01.880 didn't
00:57:02.320 know
00:57:02.980 myself
00:57:03.740 well
00:57:04.120 enough
00:57:04.480 yet
00:57:05.100 I
00:57:06.020 didn't
00:57:06.540 have
00:57:07.700 a
00:57:07.880 clear
00:57:08.320 enough
00:57:08.780 idea
00:57:09.300 of
00:57:09.500 what
00:57:09.640 my
00:57:09.840 purpose
00:57:10.560 my
00:57:11.140 vision
00:57:11.480 like
00:57:11.740 how
00:57:12.000 I
00:57:12.140 was
00:57:12.260 going
00:57:12.380 to
00:57:12.440 be
00:57:12.540 of
00:57:12.680 service
00:57:12.960 I
00:57:13.900 didn't
00:57:14.080 know
00:57:14.260 where
00:57:14.760 I
00:57:15.520 really
00:57:15.980 felt
00:57:16.220 like
00:57:16.380 I
00:57:16.480 needed
00:57:16.640 to
00:57:16.860 be
00:57:17.200 I
00:57:18.020 think
00:57:18.220 I
00:57:18.460 have
00:57:19.200 some
00:57:19.360 of
00:57:19.460 those
00:57:19.600 answers
00:57:19.960 now
00:57:20.320 so
00:57:20.840 when I
00:57:21.080 meet
00:57:21.300 someone
00:57:21.560 I
00:57:21.720 can
00:57:21.840 say
00:57:22.020 hi
00:57:22.400 I'm
00:57:23.100 Emma
00:57:23.380 this
00:57:24.160 is
00:57:24.280 what
00:57:24.400 I
00:57:24.500 care
00:57:24.740 about
00:57:25.100 this
00:57:25.800 is
00:57:25.920 where
00:57:26.060 the
00:57:26.140 people
00:57:26.320 I
00:57:26.440 love
00:57:26.620 the
00:57:26.740 most
00:57:26.960 live
00:57:27.360 this
00:57:27.840 is
00:57:27.960 where
00:57:28.080 it's
00:57:28.220 meaningful
00:57:28.680 for me
00:57:29.100 to be
00:57:29.480 in the
00:57:29.700 world
00:57:30.020 and
00:57:30.960 then
00:57:31.180 they
00:57:31.380 can
00:57:31.560 decide
00:57:32.120 whether
00:57:32.820 they
00:57:33.040 can
00:57:33.240 see
00:57:33.740 that
00:57:34.820 there's
00:57:35.320 a
00:57:36.020 way
00:57:36.260 that
00:57:36.440 I
00:57:36.600 can
00:57:36.920 serve
00:57:37.760 what
00:57:37.980 they're
00:57:38.180 trying
00:57:38.440 to
00:57:38.620 do
00:57:38.860 and
00:57:39.100 they
00:57:39.260 can
00:57:39.440 serve
00:57:39.760 what
00:57:40.120 I'm
00:57:40.280 trying
00:57:40.520 to
00:57:40.700 do
00:57:40.960 but
00:57:41.500 before
00:57:41.940 that
00:57:42.320 they
00:57:42.760 would
00:57:42.880 have
00:57:42.980 got
00:57:43.280 a
00:57:43.760 very
00:57:44.320 mixed
00:57:45.760 signal
00:57:46.240 I
00:57:46.500 mean
00:57:46.580 there's
00:57:46.760 some
00:57:46.920 parts
00:57:47.200 of me
00:57:47.440 that
00:57:47.580 have
00:57:47.720 stayed
00:57:47.940 utterly
00:57:48.400 consistent
00:57:49.160 but
00:57:50.340 there
00:57:50.560 are
00:57:50.700 some
00:57:51.040 parts
00:57:51.660 that
00:57:51.900 I
00:57:52.480 was
00:57:52.660 really
00:57:53.100 still
00:57:53.440 teasing
00:57:53.900 out
00:57:54.260 and
00:57:54.400 figuring
00:57:54.620 out
00:57:54.980 and
00:57:55.160 I
00:57:55.280 think
00:57:55.540 it's
00:57:56.520 such
00:57:56.680 a
00:57:56.880 violence
00:57:57.280 and
00:57:57.600 it's
00:57:57.720 such
00:57:57.860 a
00:57:58.040 cruelty
00:57:58.600 on
00:57:59.760 people
00:58:00.240 and
00:58:00.480 especially
00:58:00.860 young
00:58:01.640 people
00:58:02.040 I
00:58:02.280 think
00:58:02.660 and
00:58:03.660 especially
00:58:04.140 women
00:58:04.700 to make
00:58:05.640 them feel
00:58:06.020 like they
00:58:06.280 have no
00:58:06.680 worth
00:58:07.260 or like
00:58:08.200 they haven't
00:58:08.620 succeeded
00:58:09.160 yet in
00:58:09.720 life
00:58:10.200 because
00:58:11.300 they haven't
00:58:12.000 forced
00:58:12.400 to its
00:58:12.760 culmination
00:58:13.620 something
00:58:14.560 that I
00:58:15.080 just
00:58:15.320 don't
00:58:15.700 think
00:58:16.040 can
00:58:16.540 or
00:58:16.760 should
00:58:16.940 ever
00:58:17.280 be
00:58:17.740 forced
00:58:19.720 so
00:58:21.160 the
00:58:21.600 violence
00:58:22.080 that
00:58:22.360 Emma
00:58:22.580 Watson
00:58:22.880 is
00:58:23.040 worried
00:58:23.280 about
00:58:23.600 is
00:58:24.020 the
00:58:24.200 violence
00:58:24.780 of
00:58:25.540 asking
00:58:25.980 somebody
00:58:26.480 when
00:58:27.200 they're
00:58:27.380 going
00:58:27.500 to
00:58:27.560 get
00:58:27.700 married
00:58:28.100 it's
00:58:29.380 the
00:58:29.560 violence
00:58:30.100 of
00:58:30.380 pressuring
00:58:30.980 young
00:58:31.240 people
00:58:31.580 to
00:58:31.880 get
00:58:32.060 married
00:58:32.480 and
00:58:32.840 have
00:58:33.040 children
00:58:33.420 and
00:58:35.120 you know
00:58:35.280 she'd
00:58:35.480 be making
00:58:35.740 a good
00:58:36.020 point
00:58:36.260 admittedly
00:58:36.800 if
00:58:37.020 young
00:58:37.220 people
00:58:37.460 were
00:58:37.660 frequently
00:58:38.020 threatened
00:58:38.460 at
00:58:38.680 gunpoint
00:58:39.180 for not
00:58:39.720 getting
00:58:39.940 married
00:58:40.240 soon
00:58:40.440 enough
00:58:40.740 but
00:58:41.840 that is
00:58:42.140 not
00:58:42.460 exactly
00:58:43.000 a regular
00:58:43.580 occurrence
00:58:44.000 as far
00:58:44.360 as I
00:58:44.520 know
00:58:44.600 in fact
00:58:44.820 in our
00:58:45.180 society
00:58:45.640 the pressure
00:58:46.920 to get
00:58:47.200 married
00:58:47.560 is not
00:58:48.160 only
00:58:48.560 non-violent
00:58:49.780 but is
00:58:51.040 considerably
00:58:51.620 less intense
00:58:52.500 than it's
00:58:52.900 ever been
00:58:53.480 for any
00:58:53.980 generation
00:58:54.440 of young
00:58:54.760 people
00:58:55.040 since like
00:58:55.560 the dawn
00:58:56.040 of humanity
00:58:56.640 there is
00:58:58.100 more pressure
00:58:58.760 on someone
00:58:59.260 in their
00:58:59.660 early 20s
00:59:00.380 to not
00:59:01.140 get married
00:59:01.700 than there
00:59:02.720 is on
00:59:03.000 someone in
00:59:03.340 their late
00:59:03.700 20s
00:59:04.120 to get
00:59:04.500 married
00:59:04.800 it is
00:59:06.160 like
00:59:06.360 inarguable
00:59:07.020 that there
00:59:07.520 is less
00:59:08.120 stigma
00:59:08.520 around being
00:59:09.180 unmarried
00:59:09.620 or marrying
00:59:10.120 late
00:59:10.420 than at
00:59:11.300 any other
00:59:11.660 point in the
00:59:12.200 history of
00:59:12.540 western
00:59:12.720 civilization
00:59:13.220 young people
00:59:14.400 today face
00:59:15.040 less pressure
00:59:15.840 than ever
00:59:16.420 to get
00:59:16.900 married
00:59:17.180 but they
00:59:19.260 also complain
00:59:19.940 about the
00:59:20.780 meager pressure
00:59:21.420 they do
00:59:21.820 experience
00:59:22.260 more than
00:59:22.960 any other
00:59:23.260 generation
00:59:23.620 ever has
00:59:24.060 you know
00:59:25.540 the term
00:59:25.880 shotgun
00:59:26.360 wedding
00:59:26.760 was coined
00:59:27.440 for a
00:59:27.740 reason
00:59:28.020 it used
00:59:29.220 to have
00:59:29.400 a very
00:59:29.620 literal
00:59:30.000 connotation
00:59:30.700 and yet
00:59:32.160 even back
00:59:32.580 then
00:59:32.880 nobody
00:59:33.560 considered
00:59:33.960 the pressure
00:59:34.420 to get
00:59:34.680 married
00:59:34.940 as an
00:59:35.220 act of
00:59:35.640 violence
00:59:36.140 that
00:59:37.100 description
00:59:37.420 is only
00:59:37.960 used
00:59:38.280 now
00:59:38.600 at a
00:59:38.820 time
00:59:39.060 when
00:59:39.280 there
00:59:39.480 is
00:59:39.680 comparatively
00:59:40.240 speaking
00:59:40.620 basically
00:59:41.800 no
00:59:42.220 pressure
00:59:42.580 and this
00:59:44.580 is of course
00:59:45.080 the pattern
00:59:45.640 on the
00:59:46.060 left
00:59:46.260 they complain
00:59:47.080 that their
00:59:47.380 lifestyle
00:59:47.680 choices
00:59:48.080 are not
00:59:48.440 accepted
00:59:48.920 and the
00:59:50.980 more that
00:59:51.380 those choices
00:59:51.860 are accepted
00:59:52.680 the more
00:59:54.040 they complain
00:59:54.580 about the
00:59:54.920 lack of
00:59:55.240 acceptance
00:59:55.660 we could
00:59:58.480 throw a
00:59:58.920 parade
00:59:59.300 in every
01:00:00.040 city in
01:00:00.480 the country
01:00:00.860 to celebrate
01:00:01.760 childless
01:00:02.940 cat ladies
01:00:03.500 we could
01:00:03.840 have a
01:00:04.260 national
01:00:05.040 holiday
01:00:05.640 in their
01:00:06.180 honor
01:00:06.360 we could
01:00:06.940 renovate
01:00:07.480 the
01:00:07.660 statue
01:00:08.080 of
01:00:08.300 liberty
01:00:08.580 so that
01:00:09.020 she's
01:00:09.220 holding
01:00:09.480 a
01:00:09.660 cat
01:00:10.020 and a
01:00:10.620 glass
01:00:10.900 of
01:00:11.060 white
01:00:11.260 wine
01:00:11.640 and
01:00:11.900 engrave
01:00:12.380 the
01:00:12.520 words
01:00:12.900 childlessness
01:00:14.340 is
01:00:14.720 awesome
01:00:15.060 across
01:00:15.420 the front
01:00:15.760 of it
01:00:15.960 and
01:00:16.500 still
01:00:16.980 if
01:00:17.760 even
01:00:18.000 one
01:00:18.380 person
01:00:18.840 amid
01:00:19.240 the
01:00:19.420 cheering
01:00:19.680 throngs
01:00:20.140 looked at
01:00:21.080 Emma
01:00:21.260 slightly
01:00:21.860 askance
01:00:22.500 or
01:00:23.420 god
01:00:23.640 forbid
01:00:23.880 asked
01:00:24.320 her
01:00:24.480 when
01:00:24.660 she's
01:00:24.860 getting
01:00:25.040 married
01:00:25.300 still
01:00:26.300 she would
01:00:26.940 complain
01:00:27.440 that she's
01:00:27.860 being unfairly
01:00:28.580 pressured
01:00:29.460 she would
01:00:31.040 claim that
01:00:31.340 she's
01:00:31.500 essentially
01:00:31.780 the victim
01:00:32.140 of a
01:00:32.400 violent
01:00:32.640 crime
01:00:33.020 which is
01:00:34.620 a very
01:00:34.880 very close
01:00:35.420 to the
01:00:35.620 exact
01:00:35.860 scenario
01:00:36.160 we've
01:00:36.420 seen
01:00:36.600 with
01:00:36.720 the
01:00:36.820 LGBT
01:00:37.120 camp
01:00:37.500 clamoring
01:00:38.760 for
01:00:38.940 acceptance
01:00:39.400 they get
01:00:40.680 way more
01:00:41.180 of it
01:00:41.380 than they
01:00:41.600 ever
01:00:41.760 should
01:00:41.940 have
01:00:42.140 and
01:00:43.360 yet
01:00:43.580 their
01:00:43.980 whines
01:00:44.720 and cries
01:00:45.200 of
01:00:45.340 non-acceptance
01:00:45.940 only
01:00:46.280 grow
01:00:46.600 louder
01:00:46.980 that's
01:00:48.620 how it
01:00:48.820 works
01:00:49.080 with
01:00:49.280 narcissists
01:00:50.640 putting
01:00:52.720 that aside
01:00:53.160 what do
01:00:53.420 we make
01:00:53.820 of the
01:00:54.320 rest of
01:00:54.700 Emma's
01:00:55.120 cat lady
01:00:56.140 soliloquy
01:00:57.020 well she
01:00:58.520 says that
01:00:58.900 it would
01:00:59.100 have been
01:00:59.320 carnage
01:00:59.880 had she
01:01:00.460 attempted to
01:01:00.940 get married
01:01:01.360 before she
01:01:01.960 had figured
01:01:02.480 herself out
01:01:03.080 or in her
01:01:04.100 words
01:01:04.400 quoting
01:01:04.760 if I
01:01:05.460 tried to
01:01:05.820 get married
01:01:06.120 at any
01:01:06.420 point
01:01:06.660 before
01:01:07.020 about a
01:01:07.340 year
01:01:07.500 ago
01:01:07.740 it would
01:01:08.000 have
01:01:08.060 been
01:01:08.180 carnage
01:01:08.620 I
01:01:09.760 didn't
01:01:09.920 know
01:01:10.100 myself
01:01:10.440 well
01:01:10.680 enough
01:01:10.960 I
01:01:11.620 didn't
01:01:11.760 have
01:01:11.920 a
01:01:12.040 clear
01:01:12.220 idea
01:01:12.480 of
01:01:12.580 my
01:01:12.720 purpose
01:01:13.040 my
01:01:13.240 vision
01:01:13.540 how
01:01:13.760 I
01:01:13.860 was
01:01:13.960 going
01:01:14.100 to
01:01:14.200 be
01:01:14.320 of
01:01:14.440 service
01:01:14.780 I
01:01:15.540 didn't
01:01:15.680 know
01:01:15.820 where
01:01:16.020 I
01:01:16.120 really
01:01:16.320 felt
01:01:16.580 like
01:01:16.740 I
01:01:16.840 needed
01:01:17.000 to
01:01:17.160 be
01:01:17.380 I
01:01:18.100 think
01:01:18.260 I
01:01:18.380 have
01:01:18.500 some
01:01:18.620 of
01:01:18.700 those
01:01:18.820 answers
01:01:19.100 now
01:01:19.400 so
01:01:19.600 when
01:01:19.760 I
01:01:19.880 meet
01:01:20.040 someone
01:01:20.260 I
01:01:20.400 say
01:01:20.700 hi
01:01:20.980 I'm
01:01:21.200 Emma
01:01:21.400 this is
01:01:34.760 it's
01:01:38.120 not
01:01:38.280 clear
01:01:38.520 why
01:01:39.160 it
01:01:39.300 took
01:01:39.460 her
01:01:39.680 until
01:01:40.380 the
01:01:40.560 age
01:01:40.740 of
01:01:40.900 35
01:01:41.440 to
01:01:41.840 figure
01:01:42.060 out
01:01:42.280 where
01:01:42.500 her
01:01:42.680 family
01:01:43.100 lives
01:01:43.480 I
01:01:45.060 don't
01:01:45.160 know
01:01:45.260 what
01:01:45.400 that
01:01:45.580 means
01:01:45.840 she
01:01:47.200 can
01:01:47.360 tell
01:01:47.540 people
01:01:47.780 this
01:01:48.000 is
01:01:48.120 where
01:01:48.260 my
01:01:48.420 loved
01:01:48.680 ones
01:01:48.920 live
01:01:49.160 it's
01:01:49.320 that
01:01:49.480 do
01:01:50.280 you
01:01:50.340 not
01:01:50.460 have
01:01:50.580 GPS
01:01:50.860 you
01:01:51.180 can't
01:01:51.400 you
01:01:51.520 couldn't
01:01:51.780 have
01:01:51.920 figured
01:01:52.080 that
01:01:52.200 out
01:01:52.320 before
01:01:52.560 it's
01:01:53.560 also
01:01:53.700 not
01:01:53.920 clear
01:01:54.160 what
01:01:54.420 the
01:01:54.660 phrase
01:01:55.040 this
01:01:55.480 is
01:01:55.640 where
01:01:55.800 it's
01:01:55.960 meaningful
01:01:56.420 for
01:01:56.700 me
01:01:56.820 to
01:01:56.940 be
01:01:57.140 in
01:01:57.260 the
01:01:57.380 world
01:01:57.700 means
01:01:58.260 she's
01:01:59.620 looking
01:01:59.780 for
01:01:59.980 a
01:02:00.140 meaningful
01:02:00.460 place
01:02:00.860 in
01:02:00.960 the
01:02:01.040 world
01:02:01.280 and
01:02:01.420 still
01:02:01.580 hasn't
01:02:01.820 figured
01:02:02.000 out
01:02:02.120 how
01:02:02.200 to
01:02:02.320 speak
01:02:02.700 a
01:02:03.060 meaningful
01:02:03.400 sentence
01:02:03.920 might
01:02:04.980 be
01:02:05.080 part
01:02:05.260 of
01:02:05.340 your
01:02:05.440 problem
01:02:05.800 if you
01:02:07.180 want
01:02:07.280 to
01:02:07.340 find
01:02:07.480 meaning
01:02:07.740 in
01:02:07.860 the
01:02:07.960 world
01:02:08.200 learn
01:02:08.680 how
01:02:08.800 to
01:02:08.940 speak
01:02:09.340 meaningfully
01:02:10.000 could
01:02:10.540 be
01:02:10.640 the
01:02:10.760 first
01:02:11.000 step
01:02:11.440 but
01:02:12.920 if
01:02:13.000 we
01:02:13.080 can
01:02:13.220 sift
01:02:13.480 through
01:02:13.700 all
01:02:13.920 the
01:02:14.120 self
01:02:14.400 actualization
01:02:15.140 mumbo
01:02:15.520 jumbo
01:02:15.900 and
01:02:16.040 get
01:02:16.180 to
01:02:16.280 the
01:02:16.420 core
01:02:16.600 of
01:02:16.700 her
01:02:16.780 message
01:02:17.200 such
01:02:17.600 as
01:02:17.760 there
01:02:17.880 is
01:02:18.020 any
01:02:18.180 kind
01:02:18.360 of
01:02:18.480 core
01:02:18.760 or
01:02:19.060 any
01:02:19.240 kind
01:02:19.420 of
01:02:19.520 message
01:02:19.840 she
01:02:20.580 appears
01:02:20.860 to be
01:02:21.040 saying
01:02:21.300 that
01:02:21.600 she
01:02:23.080 didn't
01:02:23.340 know
01:02:23.640 herself
01:02:24.120 well
01:02:24.640 enough
01:02:25.000 to
01:02:25.280 get
01:02:25.460 married
01:02:25.800 until
01:02:26.060 about
01:02:26.460 a
01:02:26.580 year
01:02:26.700 ago
01:02:26.900 at
01:02:27.020 the
01:02:27.120 age
01:02:27.240 of
01:02:27.360 34
01:02:27.700 so
01:02:28.440 she
01:02:28.560 had
01:02:28.660 to
01:02:28.800 wait
01:02:29.000 until
01:02:29.180 she
01:02:29.360 figured
01:02:29.800 out
01:02:30.240 herself
01:02:31.840 before
01:02:32.840 she
01:02:33.040 considered
01:02:33.440 getting
01:02:34.140 married
01:02:34.460 but
01:02:35.000 there
01:02:35.120 are
01:02:35.220 two
01:02:35.340 big
01:02:35.540 problems
01:02:35.920 with
01:02:36.080 that
01:02:36.220 approach
01:02:36.500 and
01:02:36.580 the
01:02:36.700 first
01:02:36.960 is
01:02:37.120 that
01:02:37.300 it's
01:02:37.600 mostly
01:02:38.800 pretentious
01:02:39.520 narcissistic
01:02:40.320 nonsense
01:02:40.880 you know
01:02:42.140 people like
01:02:42.500 Emma like
01:02:43.020 to think
01:02:43.420 that they're
01:02:48.360 which is
01:02:48.520 why
01:02:48.680 it
01:02:48.900 takes
01:02:49.260 them
01:02:49.420 decades
01:02:49.800 to
01:02:50.100 understand
01:02:50.780 themselves
01:02:51.260 and
01:02:51.420 you hear
01:02:51.600 this
01:02:51.700 all the
01:02:51.900 time
01:02:52.060 from
01:02:52.180 people
01:02:52.460 I
01:02:53.080 just
01:02:53.160 gotta
01:02:53.280 understand
01:02:53.820 myself
01:02:54.200 there's
01:02:54.760 so many
01:02:55.160 facets
01:02:56.740 to me
01:02:57.340 I'm
01:02:57.560 so
01:02:57.980 I'm
01:02:58.700 just
01:02:58.820 so
01:02:59.020 complicated
01:02:59.680 you
01:03:00.660 never
01:03:00.880 know
01:03:01.220 I
01:03:01.460 just
01:03:02.040 don't
01:03:02.300 I
01:03:02.420 don't
01:03:02.680 know
01:03:02.980 the
01:03:04.000 vast
01:03:04.580 tapestry
01:03:05.400 of my
01:03:06.140 identity
01:03:06.720 is
01:03:07.020 so
01:03:07.860 it's
01:03:08.260 so
01:03:08.580 I
01:03:09.220 can't
01:03:09.440 get
01:03:09.580 it's
01:03:10.040 astronomical
01:03:10.800 in
01:03:11.300 its
01:03:11.480 size
01:03:11.820 I
01:03:11.980 can't
01:03:12.200 get
01:03:12.300 my
01:03:12.460 arms
01:03:12.660 around
01:03:12.900 it
01:03:13.100 well
01:03:14.680 it
01:03:14.880 really
01:03:15.120 isn't
01:03:15.400 that
01:03:15.580 complicated
01:03:16.060 Emma
01:03:17.320 needed
01:03:17.740 to
01:03:17.980 stare
01:03:18.340 longingly
01:03:18.840 at her
01:03:19.120 own
01:03:19.260 reflection
01:03:19.640 in the
01:03:19.900 mirror
01:03:20.080 for
01:03:20.340 34
01:03:20.820 years
01:03:21.220 to
01:03:21.400 crack
01:03:21.660 the
01:03:21.840 code
01:03:22.020 of
01:03:22.140 her
01:03:22.240 own
01:03:22.340 identity
01:03:22.640 I
01:03:23.260 can
01:03:23.400 do
01:03:23.500 it
01:03:23.580 just
01:03:23.680 by
01:03:23.800 listening
01:03:24.080 to
01:03:24.220 her
01:03:24.340 ramble
01:03:24.620 for
01:03:24.760 two
01:03:24.920 minutes
01:03:25.180 she's
01:03:27.020 a
01:03:27.140 pompous
01:03:27.540 self-indulgent
01:03:28.220 insecure
01:03:28.620 snob
01:03:29.360 so
01:03:29.940 there
01:03:30.540 you
01:03:30.640 go
01:03:30.840 Emma
01:03:31.080 I've
01:03:31.340 figured
01:03:31.520 it
01:03:31.660 out
01:03:31.780 for
01:03:31.920 you
01:03:32.100 that's
01:03:33.000 the
01:03:33.140 answer
01:03:33.380 to
01:03:33.540 the
01:03:33.640 riddle
01:03:33.860 I
01:03:35.020 have
01:03:35.140 just
01:03:35.340 assembled
01:03:35.860 the
01:03:36.120 jigsaw
01:03:36.620 puzzle
01:03:36.940 of
01:03:37.160 your
01:03:37.280 life
01:03:37.520 for
01:03:37.720 you
01:03:38.000 turns
01:03:39.180 out
01:03:39.320 it
01:03:39.400 wasn't
01:03:39.640 like
01:03:39.800 one
01:03:39.920 of
01:03:39.980 those
01:03:40.100 hard
01:03:40.340 puzzles
01:03:40.640 with
01:03:40.920 a
01:03:41.040 thousand
01:03:41.300 pieces
01:03:41.640 it
01:03:41.800 was
01:03:41.900 more
01:03:42.200 like
01:03:42.600 a
01:03:42.860 paw
01:03:43.080 patrol
01:03:43.380 puzzle
01:03:43.720 for
01:03:44.000 toddlers
01:03:44.520 with
01:03:44.740 four
01:03:45.020 pieces
01:03:45.320 the
01:03:46.840 other
01:03:46.980 problem
01:03:47.240 is
01:03:47.400 that
01:03:47.660 the
01:03:48.880 extent
01:03:49.160 that
01:03:49.300 you
01:03:49.380 need
01:03:49.540 to
01:03:49.740 come
01:03:50.860 into
01:03:51.120 your
01:03:51.320 own
01:03:51.580 find
01:03:51.980 yourself
01:03:52.400 achieve
01:03:53.200 some
01:03:53.480 level
01:03:53.740 of
01:03:53.900 personal
01:03:54.200 growth
01:03:54.600 none
01:03:55.880 of
01:03:56.040 that
01:03:56.300 is
01:03:56.520 going
01:03:56.640 to
01:03:56.760 happen
01:03:57.160 just
01:03:58.280 by
01:03:58.480 sitting
01:03:58.820 around
01:03:59.160 and
01:03:59.360 thinking
01:03:59.620 about
01:03:59.920 it
01:04:00.580 personal
01:04:01.380 growth
01:04:01.760 and
01:04:01.960 discovery
01:04:02.500 are
01:04:03.620 not
01:04:03.880 achieved
01:04:04.360 by
01:04:05.280 mentally
01:04:05.820 and
01:04:06.060 emotionally
01:04:06.520 willing
01:04:07.020 them
01:04:07.300 into
01:04:07.520 existence
01:04:08.060 and
01:04:09.200 even
01:04:09.420 less
01:04:09.660 are
01:04:09.780 they
01:04:09.880 achieved
01:04:10.220 the way
01:04:10.800 that
01:04:10.920 I
01:04:11.020 suspect
01:04:11.360 Emma
01:04:11.600 thinks
01:04:11.980 she
01:04:12.300 achieved
01:04:12.640 it
01:04:12.860 by
01:04:13.760 watching
01:04:14.080 a bunch
01:04:14.360 of
01:04:14.640 self-help
01:04:15.220 videos
01:04:15.820 on

01:05:47.780 you'll
01:05:48.500 never
01:05:48.680 be

01:05:49.080 that
01:05:49.980 is
01:05:50.740 the
01:05:50.920 fire
01:05:51.420 in
01:05:52.220 which

01:07:25.720 two
01:07:25.940 decades
01:07:26.300 of
01:07:26.420 adult
01:07:26.660 life
01:07:26.960 living
01:07:27.340 for
01:07:27.540 herself
01:07:27.960 all
01:07:28.780 she's
01:07:29.060 done
01:07:29.240 is
01:07:29.380 create
01:07:29.640 habits
01:07:30.100 of
01:07:30.280 selfishness
01:07:30.900 that
01:07:31.700 will
01:07:31.840 make
01:07:32.040 marriage
01:07:32.640 more
01:07:33.080 difficult
01:07:33.540 more
01:07:33.960 challenging
01:07:34.440 not
01:07:36.440 impossible
01:07:36.860 still
01:07:37.120 worth
01:07:37.360 doing
01:07:37.660 but
01:07:38.680 it
01:07:38.920 actually
01:07:39.560 adds
01:07:40.040 difficulties
01:07:40.600 so
01:07:42.700 she
01:07:42.840 has
01:07:42.980 achieved
01:07:43.300 the
01:07:43.480 opposite
01:07:43.820 of
01:07:44.220 what
01:07:44.360 she
01:07:44.480 intended
01:07:44.800 but
01:07:47.360 at
01:07:47.460 least
01:07:47.560 she
01:07:47.680 knows
01:07:47.840 where
01:07:48.000 her
01:07:48.140 family
01:07:48.420 lives
01:07:48.700 now
01:07:49.060 or
01:07:49.340 something
01:07:49.600 so
01:07:49.980 that's
01:07:50.360 at least
01:07:51.700 one
01:07:51.880 positive
01:07:52.240 and
01:07:53.600 that
01:07:53.700 is
01:07:53.780 why
