00:02:07.620 William Schneiderman is a name that you've probably never heard before, but due to recent events, in particular the election of a Ugandan socialist to serve as the mayor of the nerve center of American capitalism,

00:02:27.300 William Schneiderman is suddenly very relevant again.

00:02:30.320 In the 1920s, Schneiderman became a naturalized citizen of the United States after immigrating here from Russia.

00:02:37.060 Just a few years later, Schneiderman pulled a Zoran Mamdani. He decided to run for political office as an avowed communist.

00:02:44.500 Specifically, he wanted to become the governor of Minnesota so that he could undermine American capitalism and destroy the state.

00:02:51.440 So he's a bit ahead of his time in that regard, but the federal government of the United States under FDR was not very amused by Schneiderman's ambitions.

00:03:00.320 They immediately began proceedings to denaturalize and deport him on the grounds that he had violated the Naturalization Act of 1906,

00:03:07.880 which required new citizens to affirm truthfully that they were attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States.

00:03:15.460 Now, ultimately, in a 5-3 vote, the Supreme Court ruled that Schneiderman could keep his citizenship even though he was a communist.

00:03:21.020 The Supreme Court ruled that clear, unequivocal, and convincing evidence was needed to denaturalize an American citizen on the grounds that he had fraudulently obtained his citizenship.

00:03:31.620 If the government wants to kick a naturalized citizen out of the country, then the feds need to demonstrate beyond any doubt whatsoever

00:03:38.700 that the naturalized citizen is not, in fact, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States.

00:03:45.840 Now, it's not enough for a foreigner to call himself a communist, even though it should be enough, according to the Supreme Court.

00:04:27.160 But even with that high bar, Zoran Mamdani, the newly inaugurated socialist mayor of New York City,

00:04:33.800 who became a naturalized citizen in 2018, has cleared it.

00:04:38.120 He has cleared the high bar.

00:04:39.560 However, Mamdani, through his political affiliations, his public remarks, and most recently his political appointments,

00:04:47.540 has provided clear, unequivocal, and convincing evidence that he should be denaturalized,

00:04:53.320 loaded on the first available aircraft, and deported to Uganda, and banned from ever returning to the United States.

00:05:00.960 He has demonstrated that we made a grave mistake by awarding him citizenship,

00:05:05.400 and that he defrauded us to obtain that citizenship.

00:05:09.560 Now, we talked yesterday about Mamdani's dystopian endorsement of the warmth of collectivism.

00:05:15.320 And by now, everyone is familiar with his past statements about creating state-run grocery stores,

00:05:20.320 defunding the police, nationalizing public transportation and rental properties, and so on.

00:05:26.780 But Mamdani isn't just delivering speeches anymore.

00:05:29.460 He's getting his agenda started in earnest.

00:05:31.580 And this is the part where, with all due respect to the 20% of eligible New York voters who cast their ballots for Mamdani,

00:05:39.440 this is where the adults need to step in and remove him from power and from this country.

00:05:46.900 Now, in a moment, I'll go through the evidence that justifies Mamdani's immediate denaturalization

00:05:51.420 under the law of the United States and existing Supreme Court precedent.

00:05:54.820 But first, it needs to be emphasized that, in 2026, what I'm saying is not unthinkable.

00:06:03.360 Especially after the attack on Venezuela over the weekend, conservatives are finally realizing that, indeed,

00:06:10.680 Even things that 10 years ago would have seemed insane or impractical or totally implausible.

00:06:17.080 Now, no, we shouldn't ignore the Constitution.

00:06:20.080 We shouldn't concoct phony prosecutions to jail our political opponents.

00:06:23.720 We shouldn't commit political violence.

00:06:25.960 We shouldn't adopt the left's approach, in other words.

00:06:28.400 But at the same time, when the law is clearly on our side,

00:06:34.440 and when our interests would be served by decisive action,

00:06:38.280 when all those things come together, we should take that decisive action quickly

00:06:43.560 And now, more than ever, it seems that our government understands that.

00:06:51.140 Therefore, Mamdani should be detained and hauled before the most right-wing immigration court in the country

00:06:56.040 to explain why, exactly, he appointed a woman named Sia Weaver

00:07:00.980 to lead the mayor's new office to protect tenants.

00:07:05.300 Now, this is an office in Mamdani's cabinet that, according to the city website,

00:07:08.580 will serve as a central coordinating body to defend tenants' rights,

00:07:12.720 stand up to landlords, and ensure city agencies act swiftly on behalf of renters

00:07:16.400 facing unsafe or illegal conditions.

00:07:20.040 Now, Sia Weaver is not merely a communist and a deeply unpleasant HR-sounding harpy,

00:07:25.420 although she's both of those things.

00:07:27.640 Weaver also openly wants to suspend the U.S. Constitution

00:07:30.400 and all private property rights in our largest city.

00:07:35.000 Weaver's been very clear about her goals for many years in various settings.

00:07:39.060 And in her new role, she has the capacity to accomplish those goals.

00:07:43.900 Mamdani knows all this.

00:07:44.940 He knows that she subscribes to a totalitarian ideology

00:07:47.200 that's bent on the destruction of the United States,

00:07:49.740 in particular, the destruction of white property owners.

00:07:53.500 He knows that. That's why he picked her.

00:07:56.300 Now, that said, it's important to note that after Mamdani appointed her to his cabinet,

00:08:00.620 Weaver did attempt to cover her tracks to the extent that she could.

00:08:03.360 She deleted her account on X, for example,

00:08:06.480 because she knew that reporters would go looking through her old posts.

00:08:11.580 Well, most reporters would not go looking because they are not interested in doing any actual reporting,

00:08:16.380 but maybe a few judicious people on social media would.

00:08:20.940 And unfortunately for Weaver, a few months ago, acting on a hunch,

00:08:23.480 a writer named Michelle Tandler decided to archive Weaver's social media posts.

00:08:27.880 And the other day, Tandler posted many of Weaver's writings.

00:08:31.640 So let's go through some of them.

00:08:33.040 This is from August 21st of 2019,

00:08:35.300 when Weaver was working as an activist for so-called housing justice.

00:08:39.160 Yes, she wrote, I mean, not that this is the main point,

00:08:56.400 but she wrote, kind of, especially.

00:08:59.920 That's not a typo. That's how she talks.

00:09:01.980 And she believes that private property and kind of especially homeownership are weapons of white supremacy.

00:09:10.120 They don't actually build wealth, she says.

00:09:12.320 They, you know, they keep people oppressed.

00:09:16.080 Now, hearing that, you might observe that because we have private property rights,

00:09:20.420 we're doing an awful lot better in every conceivable way than countries that don't recognize the legitimacy of private property.

00:09:27.120 Countries like North Korea or Cuba, you might recognize that there has never been a country in the history of the world

00:09:35.700 without private property rights that you would want to live in.

00:09:41.020 Every country that exists or has ever existed where they don't respect private property rights is a hellscape or was a hellscape.

00:09:50.060 You might recognize that in this country, also, white people aren't the only ones with homes.

00:09:58.380 You might also ask yourself, well, wait a minute, if she doesn't want us to own homes,

00:10:16.180 Now, Weaver's never answered those questions, but she has been very consistent about the fact that

00:10:21.380 when she assumes power, she intends to end private property rights and to seize Americans' homes

00:10:33.320 I think the reality is, is that for centuries, we've really treated property as an individualized good

00:10:41.440 and not a collective good, and we are going to train and transitioning to treating it as a collective

00:10:48.400 good and towards a model of shared equity will require that we think about it differently.

00:10:54.240 And it will mean that families, especially white families, but some POC families who are homeowners

00:11:00.560 as well, are going to have a different relationship to property than the one that we currently have.

00:11:15.400 The frazzled appearance, the up-talking, the passive-aggressive HR language, you'll have

00:11:34.320 throw your family out on the street to freeze to death, and she'll keep up this sanitized,

00:11:43.680 Now, make no mistake, this woman, and any woman like her, is a stone-cold killer.

00:11:49.620 I mean, she would gut you like a pig, but her facial expression and tone wouldn't change.

00:13:57.340 that stands in direct opposition to the Federalist Papers, the Bill of Rights,

00:14:05.000 She's saying without a lot of ambiguity that she's going to take your home away from you.

00:14:09.500 And at the same time, she's being very corporate about it.

00:14:13.380 But in her other social media posts, to be fair, she's a little bit more direct.

00:14:17.640 So here's one that's particularly interesting.

00:14:22.800 Impoverish the white middle class.

00:14:25.880 Homeownership is racist slash failed public policy.

00:14:31.440 Now, as Matt Taibbi points out, this is a noteworthy post

00:14:35.260 because in the first sentence, she drops the whole pretense about equity and justice,

00:14:40.580 and her goal is explicitly to impoverish the white middle class.

00:14:48.320 And this woman was just given a position in the administration of the mayor of the largest city in America.

00:14:54.660 She's not saying that we need to build up, quote,

00:14:59.180 people of color and, you know,

00:15:00.880 therefore white people need to pay their fair share or whatever.

00:15:05.200 She's not using the euphemisms that communists usually employ

00:15:09.100 to mask what they're interested in doing.

00:15:11.800 Instead, she's admitting outright that her goal is to destroy white people,

00:15:17.480 which we can assume excludes this woman, at least in her mind.

00:15:29.080 And in that sense, Weaver is echoing the words of Mamdani's director of appointments,

00:15:37.740 Now, in other posts, Weaver has doubled down on this messaging.

00:15:41.420 She's primarily interested in destruction, not building anything.

00:16:04.680 in this post, she's saying that her goal is to shrink the value of real estate.

00:16:12.300 And she's telling someone that rent control is a great way to accomplish that goal.

00:16:16.420 Yes, a senior appointee in charge of housing in Zoran Mamdani's cabinet is a middle-aged woman

00:16:23.040 who explicitly wants to reduce the value of real estate in the city where she's working.

00:16:30.060 She doesn't want to make it easier for people to obtain loans.

00:16:32.720 She doesn't want to raise the standard of living or attract high-paying jobs

00:16:39.520 Instead, she wants explicitly to tank the property values of the city.
